No easy pickin’s

I don’t know much at all about Repub candidate for Arizona governor Kari Lake. But so far, I like what I’m seeing.

Last week, Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake masterfully turned the tables on a reporter who thought he was asking her a gotcha question about accepting the results of an election.

“You feel like Joe Biden is dividing the country. Do you feel Donald Trump is doing the same by falsely telling people he won that election when he lost it?” the reporter asked.

“How does that divide the country? Questioning an election where there are obviously problems is dividing the country?” she asked. “Since when can we not ask questions about our elections? As a journalist for many years—I was a journalist after 2016 and I distinctly remember many people just like you, asking a lot of questions about the 2016 election results and nobody tried to shut you up.”

Lake was hardly finished tearing this reporter a new one.

“Nobody tried to tell Hillary Clinton to shut up. Nobody tried to tell Kamala Harris when she was questioning the legitimacy of these electronic voting machines to stop. We have freedom of speech in this country and you of all that people should appreciate that. You’re supposedly a journalist. You should appreciate that. So I don’t see how asking questions about an election where there were many problems is ‘dividing’ a country. What I do see divided a country is shutting people down, censoring people, canceling people, trying to destroy people’s lives when they do ask questions. Last I heard we still have the Constitution. It’s hanging by a thread thanks to some of the work some people in this area have done. But we’re going to save that Constitution and we’re going to bring back freedom of speech. And maybe someday you’ll thank us for that.”

Well said, ma’am, but not bloody likely. After all, they’re steadfastly against freedom of speech for anyone but themselves, the Constitution, and freedom generally.

The meaning of MAGA

Dave Renegade runs it down for us.

Two points:

  1. We have to agree that America is no longer great and determine how we lost our “greatness”.
  2. We have to agree that the premise of any citizen who wants their country to be great does not threaten the Republic.

I know who destroyed the Republic: Politicians and the intelligence community (mainly the CIA and their FBI lackeys). While the Democrat Party bears more responsibility for the overthrow of the Republic by the Deep State, the Republican party was complicit, incompetent and silent in the face of evil. I do not want to overlook our apathy as this “transition” to tyranny went unchallenged. However, the final consequence is that America is no longer great.

As to the second point, our country has to reach rock bottom in order to fight evil and rebuild a better country and future for our children. When will we know when this point is reached? The answer is simple: when our leaders are so desperate that they think we will believe that wanting to make our country great again is an extremist view and threatens the very Republic.

Some years back, I asked what seemed to me a simple, straightforward question: who could possibly be AGAINST “making American great again”? I realize now that I missed the point, and badly. For MAGA Americans, it all comes down to rededicating ourselves and our ersatz nation to the principles of liberty and limited government as prescribed in the Constitution. Yes, as Dave says, we are all too aware that America has had its greatness stripped away by the Left’s all-too-successful Long March. The thing is, though, that we do believe that America WAS great once, and can still be made so again.

Ahh, but that’s precisely where we part ways with the TWANLOCs: in their eyes, America was never “great” to begin with, and can never hope to become so unless Americans embrace the foul Leftist catechism of total despotism and subjugation without reservation. This flawlessly defines the breach between Us and Them—a chasm now grown so vast that there is no longer any realistic possibility of accommodation, reconciliation, or so much as peaceful coexistence between the opposing sides.

I’ll say it again: WE would be a-okay with peacefully coexisting with THEM, if they’d just agree to leave us alone to live as we deem fit. Doesn’t sound like too much to ask, now does it? But alas, that happens to be the very thing they can never, ever do, since their preferred flavor of tyranny used to be called Global Socialism—emphasis on the Global, mind. Any dewey-eyed university co-ed would cheerfully tell you that it just won’t work any other way, see. TL ain’t skeered of ’em.

I was not threatened by Joe Biden’s speech, he didn’t say anything new. Those who are patriots to the ideals and the principles of the republic have felt such threats and heavy-breathing hysterics often before. The squeals and mindless rants of Hillary supporters have kept that dialog alive for nearly a decade. The endless investigations of Trump, the spying on the campaign by Barack Obama, even when such treasonous actions were known by the highest offices of the Department of Justice and covered up or left undiscovered by an incurious media explained where this nation was headed. The left was always intent on choosing their dictator to rule over the rest of us. It’s how they’re wired. But no amount of hyperbolic recitations of a script, as insane as it sounded, as dismissive and even dangerous as it wanted to be to a great majority of Americans, would be greater than the injustices already inflicted by the previous several administrations.

That boat sailed long ago, its wake has rocked the even waters of justice for decades. There is no justice for anyone claiming the rights and principles of the republic. The republic is a threat to democracy, where democracy is a euphemism for fascism. The republic and the rights enjoyed by Americans stands in their way, it represents, as Barack Obama told us himself, a charter of negative rights. In other words it tells the state what it cannot do. Yes!

But the state stopped listening. It’s already too invested in the absolute degradation of the human rights encapsulated in the Bill of Rights to ever recognize such power over the state. In that way, patriots are treasonous to communist/fascism. Joe got that part right. They are the enemy.

Do you not recognize that if they can so bastardize the word “woman” to the point where no one seems to be able to recite the actual literal definition as a female uniquely capable of bearing children, that they can make communist/fascism into “democracy?” They see only their goal, not the hypocrisy, or the ridiculous twists of logic it takes to make that goal seem reasonable and justified. They don’t believe in reality, except that which they choose as reality and as such are incapable of proffering any logical conclusion to their rants.

A normal, healthy public would not be able to stomach it all. Forget political parties, simple human intelligence and empathy would preclude agreement with the vision Joe Biden and the globalist/fascist left have for the nation. But, as a nation, we are not healthy. Many have been poisoned by the constant drumbeat of leftist dogma in our schools, hospitals, social clubs, corporations and even sports, the point of which is to destroy the republic, which has fostered great acts of charity, kindness and strength to the weak and oppressed the world over. These are not the gifts of the government, but of the people themselves, those who have been spiritually enriched by a system now deemed cruel and insensitive. The good is never mentioned, only the faults and failures. No one and no system can survive such a harsh and unfair barrage of criticisms from people who do not seek good or proper, but rather the destruction and defamation of good and proper to install a system of filthy lust for power; the power to tell everyone what to speak, how to speak, what to mention and not mention about the realities of the world; power to point at anything and declare it guilty; power to not merely defeat opponents, but to utterly destroy them for the sick enjoyment of their brethren.

It’s a perverse nation that Joe Biden speaks for when he vilifies more than half of the population with a seeming slur that merely calls on Americans to seek greatness rather than accept the lie of weakness and shame. Joe Biden represents his masters, the authors of these lies about America. But every generation left to their bully tactics, their devious attempts to corrupt the nation’s children from the earliest ages into their sick blood cult of perversity dims the sight of the once glorious concept of freedom and sacred morality.

Let him speak, let him rant and rail against honesty and decency, calling it corrupt and vile as all goodness must seem to such a creature.

The situation may sometimes seem novel or new to us, but in fact this impasse has been a long time a-building. Although things have definitely hotted up over recent years, there’s actually nothing novel or new about it at all. Likewise for the one, the only way out of it. We’ve all long known what the sole solution is; ugly as it admittedly is, it’s time-honored, tried and true also.

That said, I’m not nearly as sanguine as TL about all this. Having been emboldened by the passive non-response to the Covid lockdowns; the blatantly fraudulent 2020 “election”; and the grotesque J6 persecution for the heinous crime of “parading,” of all things, the ramping-up of belligerent, threatening rhetoric openly calling for war against MAGA Americans culminating in Benito Biden’s bellicose diatribe the other night isn’t something we can afford to wave away as if it meant nothing whatsoever.

Even as the darkness gathers, there is still light

Two via WRSA that start off sounding gloomy and pessimistic, but end in optimism. First off, a powerful reminder that I haven’t been checking in at Didactic Mind anything like often enough.

HottieMinotti
YOWZA!!

There’s also words, which after seeing that I’m rather short of myself.

We often find ourselves marvelling at the sheer stupidity of Western leaders – it is almost as if God designed some sort of highly sophisticated sorting machine for Western leaders that is precisely calibrated to return the most blindly unqualified moronic blithering idiot imaginable, 99% of the time. The other 1% is when we get EXTRAORDINARILY lucky and end up with a Coolidge, a Thatcher, a Reagan, or a Trump.

Sadly, the West these days is not fortunate, not at all. And this week, in particular, has shown us just how stupid and degenerate Western leaders have become.

Yesterday, the completely unqualified and frankly IMBECILIC Foreign Minister of Krautland, one Annalena Baerbock, whose background and education is in something useless in the humanities, straight-up said what the rest of us have long suspected – that she doesn’t care what her own voters think, and will continue to push for Ukraine’s interests over those of the German people. Never mind that this is the Foreign Minister of the most powerful country in Europe, in both economic and political terms – she is far too dense to think in such ways – what matters to this particularly stupid cow are the sacred borders of Banderastan, not the collapsing economy and hopes of her own people.

Then, last night, Americans watched aghast as their shambolic, (barely) reanimated corpse-walker of a President uttered a series of Angry Old Man noises on his way to calling 75 million people a threat to domestic security, and arguing that Republicans who vote for Trump are a menace to democracy. We know full well, of course, that he isn’t the one writing his own speeches – he is a meat-puppet, drugged to the gills with the REALLY STRONG SHIT and wheeled onto stage whenever the true controlling powers behind him want a few soundbites for the camera. But his views reflect those of a substantial minority of Americans-in-name-only who believe that they, not the great unwashed masses of Flyover Country, should be in charge.

Today, we received news that the G7 countries want to impose a price cap on Russian seaborne oil, and that the Europeans want to impose a price cap on Russian pipeline gas. The Russians responded by shutting down Nord Stream 1 indefinitely, due to what they call “technical issues” with the remaining turbines.

The Russians clearly understand that they hold the winning hand here. They are led by calm, rational, educated, skilled, experienced, capable people. The Europeans and Americans are led by people who are their exact opposites.

This will only end one way – with the economic collapse of Europe and the likely freezing and starvation of millions, followed shortly afterwards by civil unrest and violence on a scale that Europeans thought they left behind in the calamitous 14th Century.

Things are going to get really bad, really fast, unless the Europeans wake up and realise that the extremely high standard of living that they have achieved for the past 50 years, was only possible through cheap energy and the lack of any need to spend money on real military capabilities. Those days are definitively OVER, and days of extreme hardship and discomfort are coming.

Yet even in the midst of this madness, there is hope.

And know what? There is, there really, truly is. Follows, the optimistic stuff, then lots more smoking-hot ass, legs, face, and party-size fun bags. Next up, NC Scout puts us some dearly-bought knowledge, gained in the harshest of schools.

There’s few pleasures in life like having a conversation with an old friend. An intellectual equal, an open mind, and a counterpoise juxtaposed to any position I might hold. At least in some respects. Not a mental clone, and a radically different life philosophy than the one I live, replete with a well aged Che Guevara-turned-Guy Fawkes face inked on his upper arm. A free thinker and a beer drinker, an American original, and very much a product of a harsh upbringing. In another life he could have been leading any guerrilla force with a natural charisma and matching high intelligence; an insurgency’s wet dream and a security force nightmare. A person who recognizes the false charms of the Left, dangling Liberation in place of Liberty and begging you not to realize words have meaning. He’s an example of life on the eastern side of Appalachians.

It was a discussion on what freedom in America really even means anymore and what it will take to remain that way. Because it is a realization that we are indeed not free, that the world in which we reside has visibly chosen a path for us not to live but to die upon having no further utility to the machine. They don’t want you armed, they don’t want you thinking, and most importantly they do not want you on what they claim is theirs, as inheritors of the Earth. It begets a wonderful flow of questions, uncomfortable answers, and certainly interesting observations. When authority fails, that authority resorts to force.

A Guerrilla Movement must be reflective of the underlying culture which it seeks to preserve. I reflected upon my respect for the Afghan. In twenty years’ time, and perhaps forty, counting our exploitation of the Soviet misgivings, the West could never understand the Afghan puzzle. How can a people exist as a throwback to another time, absent the comfort we all come to know? Comfort to the Afghan serves two purposes; one, an outward showing of wealth, the other, a precursor to death. To the Afghan comfort leads to complacency, and at least in my experience, they sought simplicity. For all their failings as judged upon Western scales, they endure. Every aesthetic tells a generations-old story of what brought them to the present, and that story will carry their sons and grandsons forward generations more.

The people of a place, and thus the culture therein, creates the ecology of the Guerrilla. There are those pockets of cultural resistance in America, having borne the brunt of relentless attacks on its history and cultural significance. I frequently encounter these in my travels, training them to fight. One such is the Appalachian mountain region. Years ago in a conversation Dan Morgan made the observation, as an outsider, that the southern region of Appalachia was as clannish and buttoned up as any he’d ever encountered, paralleling his experience in Afghanistan, taking the better part of a decade to begin to build that fragile trust among the local populace. I chuckled, being intimately familiar with the anatomy of local politics. Those of the unelected kind. Those that are outwardly hostile to any unfamiliar face. These are protective measures to ensure the survival of culture. If you know, you know, or so its said, and if you’re fortunate enough to have been raised in such a culture you instantly understand.

It’s that same way in the Blue Ridge too; years back, my brother lived there, driving a big truck delivering prefab log-home kits to be constructed for inbound yuppie-Yankee types. On a regular basis, the reclusive ridge-runners native to the area, after waiting patiently for the new house to be about halfway finished, would descend from the hills and piney woods to set the new construction ablaze, burning the whole thing to ashes and costing somebody one hell of a lot of money, time, and wasted effort. The idea was to discourage the yups from moving in and ruining their home with the traffic jams, rising cost of living, and overcrowding they reliably bring with them everywhere they go.

Scout waxes optimistic about the ability of those mountain folk to not merely survive but to thrive, against all odds and in the face of great adversity brought on by a now openly hostile central government. Personally, I found this bit quite heartening as well.

Somebody maybe ought to remind Pedo Joe at this point of his ignominious beating of feet from Afghanistan—his almighty F15s and thoroughly modern military driven off in humiliating defeat after twenty years of bootless tail-chasing, by a rabble of cave-dwelling, mule-jockeying primitives armed with little more than AKs and sheer will. Then again, I very much doubt he remembers what he had for breakfast this morning.

By their friends enemies shall ye know them

First, our bud Aesop uncorked one of his patented unleavened rhetorical bloodlettings, to wit:

In any Emergency Department in the country, he wouldn’t be deemed competent to make basic medical decisions for himself, and would be detained for a psychiatric evaluation as gravely disabled. He doesn’t have sufficient orientation to be allowed to wander freely in society, and would be locked up for his own good.

Not even twenty months into his fraudulent regime, and his functional incompetence and senility is far too big to hide or ignore, and is plainly visible 8000 miles away. And if they’re seeing it this clearly in Sydney, it’s long since been noted in Moscow, Beijing, Pyongyang, and Teheran.

The far scarier question that follows:

What cabal of unelected behind-the-curtains coup-masters are actually running the United States’ executive branch, including the DoJ and the armed farces?

This pants-shitting fucktard can’t even run a lawnmower, and any federal agency that refused to do anything he said would be on firm legal grounds due to his basic mental incompetence.

And clearly, his minions and their house-organ media buddies have decided that since they pulled off one coup with the 2020 fake election, another ongoing one now is simply child’s play.

This is the point in world affairs where DefCon levels take on an algorithm of their own, as sphincters pucker up in nearly a dozen important places.

This big-bore salvo against God-Emperor Joey Rapefingers (Piss Be Upon Him) and, by extension, Our Sacred Democracy™ (GAG, SPIT) itself, moved Goolag to get itself busy Not Being Evil, in their own Bizarro-World sort of way.

Goolag/Blogger have apparently throttled all traffic to this site, shortly after the previous post was published, with recorded site hits dwindling to a number lower than the number of commenters, which is impossible.

We have just watched the number of visitors going backwards with each refresh, so in fact, they’re actually erasing visits and views in real time.

Aesop’s response? Exactly what those of us who have known him a while might’ve expected it to be.

Heh. What can one say but: nice shot, man.

Goose, meet gander

Suck a fat one, bitch. In writing, no less.

For the second time, the Pentagon denied a request on Monday by Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser to activate the National Guard to assist with thousands of migrants who have been arriving in the nation’s capital in recent months.

Bowser first asked for National Guard help last month, but it was rejected by the Pentagon on Aug. 4. She then sent another letter on Aug. 11, requesting that 150 National Guard troops be deployed to “help prevent a prolonged humanitarian crisis in our nation’s capital resulting from the daily arrival of migrants.”

Defense Department executive secretary Kelly Bulliner Holly wrote in a letter to Bowser on Monday that the D.C. National Guard is not trained to assist migrants and activation would lead to “diminished readiness” for the troops.

“The DCNG has no specific experience in or training for this kind of mission or unique skills for providing facility management, feeding, sanitation or ground support,” Holly wrote in the letter, which was reviewed by Fox News.

About 7,000 migrants have been bused from Texas to Washington, D.C., since April and another 900 have arrived in New York City, according to Gov. Greg Abbott’s office.

“Before we began busing migrants to New York, it was just Texas and Arizona that bore the brunt of all the chaos and problems that come with it,” Abbott said Friday. “Now, the rest of America can understand exactly what is going on.”

Oh, I’d say heartland America understands well enough by now. As always, it’s the Sanctuary City-dwelling shitlibs, long accustomed to scrupulously shielding themselves from the consequences of the idiocies they piously inflict on the rest of us, who are only now being schooled by Abbott’s ingenious turning of the tables on them.

WHO’S the authoritarian again, now?

The incomparable John Hayward, a/k/a Doc Zero lays down some more of his usual 120-octane, big-T Truth for us.

For all the howling about Trump’s “authoritarian tendencies,” there is no question whatsoever that Americans were more free during his term, and it’s a safe bet they would become more free if he runs and defeats Joe Biden in 2024.

This is one reason the NeverTrumpers can’t connect with any significant portion of the Republican electorate. They’re getting real authoritarianism shoved down their throats right now. The Dems just stole another trillion dollars from them with a fraud “inflation reduction” bill.

All of the money Democrats stole will be devoted to cracking down on the American people, reducing their freedoms, taking more of their money away, forcibly reducing their “carbon footprints” by making their lives worse, and pushing collectivist ideology.

We’re living in a time when fascist government/corporate speech control partnerships are the order of the day. The ruling party doesn’t even try all that hard to disguise its censorship orders to corporate lackeys. Meanwhile, the bureaucracy is utterly weaponized against us.

A growing number of issues are taken out of our hands. We’re told we’re no longer allowed to vote on matters “settled” by “expert consensus.” The bureaucracy we never get to vote against, which can fight back against even our elected representatives, grows bigger and richer.

Trump didn’t do those things to us. He wasn’t thinking about ways to make the American people smaller by making the State bigger. He wasn’t busy weaponizing every federal office to go after his enemies. Frankly, he didn’t pay *enough* attention to the Permanent State.

It’s a sad commentary on our corrupt system that you have to put a Republican in the White House if you want adversarial media coverage, or bureaucratic checks and balances against executive power. At least the growth of authoritarianism slows a little.

But Trump deserves more credit than just being flummoxed by a system that didn’t want his hand on the levers of authoritarian power. He didn’t devote his administration to attacking and subjugating the American people, like Biden does. He didn’t try to make us smaller.

He didn’t work from the assumption that every problem in America is the fault of its damnable people, the way Dems do. He wasn’t obsessed with creating a punitive State or putting America last on the world stage. He didn’t have the contempt for us that pumps the Left’s blood.

He most certainly didn’t. And that carries a hidden irony along with it. Trump’s unalterable belief in the fundamental righteousness of America and his faith in the essential decency of her people are simultaneously both appealing…and a YUUUGE factor in his downfall.

Just another hill not worth dying on

It simply beggars belief that so many otherwise astute, clued-in people still fall into this intellectual trap.

Patriots are rightly angry with and frustrated by the attacks happening to Donald Trump. The Deep State seems bent on destroying him and they’re coming after all of us as well. But one of their primary steps along the way to achieving total control is to compel America First patriots into either participating in some form of civil war or disavowing such things and falling in line.

We can fight this. On today’s episode of The JD Rucker Show, I covered five ways we can fight them without sparking the civil war the powers-that-be so desperately want.

Before I get into those things, there are some preliminary considerations to keep in mind. First and foremost, the powers-that-be WANT a limited form of civil war. They may not (or perhaps they may) want large militia groups storming cities or hunkering down in impenetrable compounds, but they do want violence and acts of domestic terrorism to take place to justify whatever crackdown they impose against us.

DUDE, SRSLY? Do please explain to me, in clear and precise detail, why it is that you cling so obstinately to the delusion that they still care a single whit about “justifying” anything they do or say, to you or to anybody whatsoever else.

JD’s very next paragraph, particularly the part I’ll put in bold, suggests that deep down inside, he knows better than that.

Second, they want to split America First patriots into two groups. The first group are those who will remain silent and complacent out of fear of being targeted. These patriots won’t really fight back, so they’ll be allowed to exist in the totalitarian world envisioned by the globalist elites. The second groups are those of us who won’t sit back idly and who won’t comply. They want us jailed or dead.

Indeed they do. Over the last several years, it has become all too clear that [wpdiscuz-feedback id=”0lsasx7f0r” question=”Comments? Complaints? Thoughts?” opened=”0″]they no longer feel any compunction about keeping that sort of thing on the down-low[/wpdiscuz-feedback]. These days, they’re perfectly open and up-front about their intentions for us. But yeah, they need us to jump salty with ’em so’s they’ll have the requisite “justification” for jailing and/or killing us. Which jailing and/or killing they’ve been doing right along, mind, without waiting around for any “justification” of any kind to help them do it.

In sum, then, a thing that never mattered to them even slightly, according to the available evidence, is of paramount importance to them all of a mysterious sudden. Because, y’know, reasons.

Riiiight.

The third consideration is that Donald Trump is very likely to be indicted. They seem willing to do anything, including manufacturing charges and arresting the rightful president, just to make sure they take us over our breaking point.

To judge from this essay of yours, JD, are we sure we actually even have a breaking point? Isn’t it the core contention of those who promulgate arguments like this one that it’s vital that we DON’T, or at least that we never act as if we might? That, no matter what they might do to, with, or about us, Our Side must remain passive and inert, lest they take resistance as a “justification” which green-lights…um, well, all the things they plan to do to us anyway, some of which they’re already doing.

If you think things are bad now, imagine if Trump is frog-marched.

By all means, DO imagine it–ALL of it, every aspect: the reasons it came to pass; the true motivations, character, and credibility of those behind it; what it says about the state of the nation’s central government, its institutions, and its people.

Ponder all that for a while, and then ask yourself: Is there really NO point at which we think things probably OUGHT to get “bad”? NO line that we’ll refuse to let them cross? No profanation so vile, no trespass so egregious, no insult so gross as to rouse us into righteous retribution?

They rigged the 2020 election, disenfranchising tens of millions of American voters and destroying their faith and trust in their national systems and institutions permanently with an act of contempt so extravagant, so profound, as to take one’s breath away—all this and much, much more they did, without suffering meaningful consequences for any of it. [wpdiscuz-feedback id=”2x1vw9z2qf” question=”Comments? Complaints? Thoughts?” opened=”0″]Do you REALLY think it’s a good idea to just blandly tolerate such audacious criminality as if it was no big thing?[/wpdiscuz-feedback]

Lastly, it’s important that we do not take for granted that our fellow America First patriots are aware of any of this. Spread the word. If we let emotions drive our actions as a movement, we will be quickly and completely quashed.

What, you’re telling me we could be MORE completely quashed?

Today’s show may be the most important one I’ve done in regards to immediate implications. We need to remain calm and act from intellect rather than pure anger. With that said, here are the five ways we can fight back without sparking a civil war.

Later in the piece, JD says that we face “an existential threat to America,” which is the incontestable truth. That being so, is the cause of defending her helped or harmed by preemptively declaring certain tools, tactics, and endeavors out of bounds for Team Liberty’s use?

What we need are peaceful groups who will help organize rallies, file lawsuits, and expose the Deep State to as many people as possible.

Uh huh. And when rallies, lawsuits, and “exposure” fail to remove The Enemy’s boot from our necks, what then? Do we admit defeat and forever forsake the cause of liberty? Do we roll over and show our yellow bellies to our victorious Masters? When political solutions have proven inadequate to solve the problems created by politics, as they invariably will, do we just quietly accept the bit at long last? Do we put our shoulders to the wheel and resolve that, from this day forward, we shall do exactly as we are told?

Forbid it, almighty God!

Goats: gotten

Want. One.

As you would expect, shitlibs across the nation are drenching their Underoos over the horror of it all.

A Wednesday hit piece from NPR sought to link the license plate and the Gadsden flag to “dangerous far-right extremist ideology.”

“The state can’t claim a lack of knowledge about what this image represents to most of the public,” said a representative of the Southern Poverty Law Center quoted by NPR.

The SPLC representative linked the flag to the Jan. 6, 2021, disturbance at the U.S. Capitol. The flag has been used for decades by libertarians and other critics of government overreach — far before the Capitol incursion.

More pathetic scree-scree-screeing over at GP.

Trump under fire

To stand Sherman’s famous quote on its head: If nominated, he won’t be allowed to run. If he runs, he won’t be allowed to win. If he wins, he won’t be allowed to serve. If he serves, he won’t be allowed to survive the experience. As I’ve said before, Trump’s smartest move at this point would be to buy himself an isolated Caribbean island, establish a secure perimeter, install some crew-served weapons, post well-armed guards under shoot-to-kill-on-sight orders, and hie himself thither with a quickness. He did what he could for the betterment of his nation and his people, an abominable crime for which the vicious, foaming-at-the-mouth Leftard rabble will never, ever forgive him. The recent godawful J6 farce is but a foretaste, a mere sample of what they have in mind for the poor man. No reasonable person could blame him if he just washed his hands of the whole sorry mess and dedicated his remaining years to seeing to the needs, happiness, and physical security of himself and his family from here on out.

The people who really run the United States of America have made it clear that they can’t, and won’t, if they can help it, allow Donald Trump to be president again. In fact, they made this clear in 2020, in a series of public statements. Simply for quoting their words in an essay for The American Mind, I was mercilessly mocked and attacked. But they were quite clear. Trump won’t be president at noon, Jan. 20, 2021, even if we have to use the military to drag him out of there.

If the regime felt that strongly back then, imagine how they feel now. But you don’t have to imagine. They tell you every day. Liz Cheney, Trump’s personal Javert, has said that the 45th president is literally the greatest threat facing America today—greater than China, than our crashing economy, than our unraveling civil society.

That’s rhetoric, of course, but it isn’t merely that. It’s safer, and generally more accurate, to assume that your adversaries mean what they say. If you doubt this, ask yourself: When was the last time they acted more moderately than they talk?

And just what is so terrible about Trump anyway? I get many of his critics’ points, I really do. I hear them all the time from my mother. But even if we were to stipulate them all, do Trump’s faults really warrant tearing the country apart by shutting out half of it from the political process?

Love him or hate him, during Trump’s presidency, the economy was strong, markets were up, inflation was under control, gas prices were low, illegal border crossings were down, crime was lower, trade deals were renegotiated, ISIS was defeated, NATO allies were stepping up, and China was stepping back (a little). Deny all that if you want to. The point here is that something like 100 million Americans believe it, strongly, and are bewildered and angered by elite hatred for the man they think delivered it.

Nor was Trump’s record all that radical—much less so than that of Joe Biden, who is using school-lunch funding to push gender ideology on poor kids, to cite but one example. Trump’s core agenda—border protection, trade balance, foreign restraint—was quite moderate, both intrinsically and in comparison to past Republican and Democratic precedent. And that’s before we even get to the fact that Trump neglected much of his own agenda in favor of the old Chamber of Commerce, fusionist, Reaganite, Conservatism, Inc., agenda. Corporate tax cuts, deregulation, and bombing Syria: These are all things Trump’s base doesn’t want, but the oligarchs desperately do, which Trump gave them. And still they try to destroy him.

Again, why? I think it’s because, while Trump’s core MAGA agenda is decidedly not outside the historic bipartisan mainstream, it is well outside the present regime’s core interests. Our rulers’ wealth and power rise with open borders, trade giveaways, and endless war. Trump, at least in principle, and often in practice, threatens all three. The old America—the one in which Republicans cared about the heartland and weren’t solely valets to corporate power, Democrats were pro-worker and anti-war, and Bill Clinton and The New York Times could advocate border security—is in the process of being replaced, if it hasn’t already been, by one in which there is only one acceptable opinion on not just these, but all other issues.

Anti-Trump hysteria is in the final analysis not about Trump. The regime can’t allow Trump to be president not because of who he is (although that grates), but because of who his followers are. That class—Angelo Codevilla’s “country class”—must not be allowed representation by candidates who might implement their preferences, which also, and above all, must not be allowed. The rubes have no legitimate standing to affect the outcome of any political process, because of who they are, but mostly because of what they want.

Complaints about the nature of Trump are just proxies for objections to the nature of his base. It doesn’t help stabilize our already twitchy situation that those who bleat the loudest about democracy are also audibly and visibly determined to deny a real choice to half the country. “No matter how you vote, you will not get X”—whether X is a candidate or a policy—is guaranteed to increase discontent with the present regime.

People I have known for 30 years, many of whom still claim the label “conservative,” will no longer speak to me—because I supported Trump, yes, but also because I disagree on trade, war, and the border. They call not just my positions, but me personally, unadulterated evil. I am not an isolated case. There are, as they say, “many such cases.” How are we supposed to have “democracy” when the policies and candidates my side wants and votes for are anathema and can’t be allowed? How are we supposed to live together with the constant demonization from one side against the other blaring 24/7 from the ruling class’s every propaganda organ? Why would we want to?

More to the point: How are we supposed to get through the next two and a half years?

Depends entirely on how we answer a couple of simple questions: Do we intend to prevail? Or will we continue to settle for merely slip-sliding along, scuttling about with our heads carefully ducked down and eyes averted, quietly yielding the battered remnants of our liberty and our self-respect, hoping to escape the notice of the loathsome, brutish Power that seeks only our subjugation and, ultimately, our demise? Do we carry on as cooperative junior partners in our own degradation and abuse, or will we at long last rise up on our hind legs like men and say Enough!

Speaking strictly for myself and absolutely no one else, I see but one feasible way of getting through the next phase of this rapidly escalating conflict more or less intact. Our survival depends on a strategy that might best be expressed in the idiom of attitude and comportment: Boastfully. Aggressively. Obnoxiously, obstreperously, and ruthlessly.

The only way we get through the next two and a half years is NOT to draw in our fangs as we always have, but to bare them as menacingly as we can possibly manage. It should be made abundantly clear to our adversaries that, far from feeling either reluctance or dread at the prospect, our most burning desire has become to sink those fangs deeply into their flesh and sinew—to rend, tear, and gnash at them until we are bathed head to toe in their very life’s blood.

Figuratively speaking, of course. No need to close bodily with the filthy swine when we have such a wealth of projectile weapons at our disposal, right?

Henceforth, no more mincing about on tiptoe; from now on, we swagger. Speak softly? Whatever the hell for, when there are so many big sticks for us to swing at their empty skulls just lying around? Be it hereby resolved: As of today, we no longer ASK, nicely or any other wise. We TELL, in no uncertain terms.

Anton asks “why would we want to” live cheek by jowl with our tormentors? Frankly, we don’t. Nor should we. That’s no more than right, meet, and just. They don’t like us, they don’t respect us, they don’t “get” us. Fine and well, so stipulated, whatevs. Now understand me, and understand me well: we are under no obligation to care whether they do or do not. At this time, in this place, our sole obligation, our sole allegiance, is to ourselves and our posterity. Respect us, like us? Pish tosh. Let them fear us. T’is enough, t’will serve.

The excerpt above is from another most excellent Michael Anton piece, of which you will surely want to read the all.

Manatees need abortions too!

It’s always amused me no end how the most overwrought fanatics screaming themselves purple in support of “a woman’s right to choose” to murder her unborn (well, usually) child always seem to look like what you’d end up with if you shaved a morbidly obese goat’s ass and taught it to walk backwards. Same with the lumbering Wide Loads who are forever threatening to “go on strike” sexually until they get whatever the hell it is they’re demanding—OR ELSE!!!—this week.

I’m pleased to report that I am by no means the only one to notice that those most pissed off about the Roe misfeasance being corrected are the same blubberskites who couldn’t get laid in a Tijuana whorehouse on a Saturday night if they were handing out free candy, cervezas, and hundred-dollar bills as incentives, and therefore have absolutely NO chance of getting preggers by any method that doesn’t involve test tubes, lab techs, and an anonymous sperm donor wanking into a little cup.

PENSACOLA, Fla. — Northwest Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz on Monday stood by controversial comments he made this past weekend regarding female abortion rights protesters.

On Saturday, Gaetz spoke to college students at the Turning Point USA Student Action Summit in Tampa, saying women protesting abortion access are less likely to get pregnant because they aren’t attractive.

“Why is it that the women with the least likelihood of getting pregnant are the ones most worried about having abortions?” Gaetz said. “Nobody wants to impregnate you if you look like a thumb.”

“These people are odious on the inside and out,” Gaetz said Saturday at the summit. “They’re like 5’2, 350 pounds and they’re like, ‘Give me my abortions or I’ll get up and march and protest.’ And I’m thinking, ‘March? You look like you got ankles weaker than the legal reasoning behind Roe vs Wade.’ A few of them need to get up and march. They need to get up and march for like an hour a day, swing those arms, get the blood pumping, maybe mix in a salad.”

A local teewee news crew tried to trip Gaetz up over his refreshingly candid way of putting into words something plenty of us were thinking already, to no avail whatsoever.

He gave this explanation when asked about Saturday’s comments:

I’m very pro-life and I make no apology for it. I’m grateful that Roe has been overturned and that Dobbs is now the jurisprudence on abortion. I find these people that go out in these pro-abortion, pro-murder rallies odious — and just, like, ugly on the inside and out. I make no apology for it. I don’t believe that every person who disagrees with my perspective on life is an ugly person. But the ones that are out there protesting and marching on Justice [Brett] Kavanaugh’s home, trying to threaten the court, trying to impose a ‘night of rage’ on our nation’s Capitol — which us what they advertised — that’s just pure ugliness. I see that ugliness on the inside, I see it on the outside. Even in the horrible circumstance where an abortion may happen, it is nothing to celebrate and it is nothing to cheer.

Channel 3 then asked Gaetz two follow-up questions:

  • Channel 3: Is it safe to say that, based off your comments, you’re suggesting that these women at these abortion rallies are ugly and overweight?
  • Gaetz: “Yes”
  • Channel 3: What do you say to people who think those comments are offensive?
  • Gaetz: “Be offended.”

DeSantis, his spokesbadass Christina Pushaw, and now this? I’m beginning to think it’s something in the water down there, maybe. Oh, and speaking of Ms Pushaw.

Florida Republicans fired a shot across the bow at corporate media Saturday by limiting access to an event and when the so-called journalists who were barred entry demonstrated what it means to be a snowflake, Gov. Ron DeSantis’ (R-FL) spokeswoman Christina Pushaw channeled her best Jen Psaki in response.

The Sunshine Summit took place Saturday at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla., where, in addition to hearing from conservative voices like James Golden, Josh Hammer and Clay Travis, attendees observed congressional debates moderated by Mark Levin. In a surprise move, DeSantis joined Levin in moderating, but the biggest surprise was handed to reporters when they discovered America’s governor had made the event invite only.

“It has come to my attention that some liberal media activists are mad because they aren’t allowed into #SunshineSummit this weekend,” Pushaw wrote. “My message to them is to try crying about it. Then go to kickboxing and have a margarita. And write the same hit piece you were gonna write anyway.”

The jab was a callback to a remark from then-White House press secretary Jen Psaki who had offered up her advice to Democrats unhappy that their agenda wasn’t advancing through Congress while appearing on “The View.” “My advice to everyone out there who is frustrated, sad, angry, p*ssed off, feel those emotions, go to a kickboxing class, have a margarita, do whatever you need to do this weekend, and then wake up on Monday morning, we’ve got to keep fighting.”

DeSantis had previously mocked the White House over this with a message of his own saying, “Having a margarita is well and good, but it is not a cure for Bidenflation.”

As you’d expect, State Media “journalists” immediately started rolling around on the floor kicking and screaming, waving their chubby little fists around, and threatening to hold their breath until they turned blue over having their unalienable “right” to excrete another pantload of propaganda shorted out by the wily and ever-astute DeSantis, who as always wasn’t having any of their usual shite. Comely Christina (and she is, actually, which only makes matters worse for the H8rz™), for her part, just kept on dumping more buckets of Florida sea-salt into the indignant shitlib scribblers’ wounds.

In fact, Pushaw delighted in the tantrums as she took to Twitter again later on Saturday to point out how one “journalist” had “created a nine-tweet thread to explain how mad he is.”

“They’re still going…Liberal media in Florida doomed itself to irrelevance because these ‘journalists’ make every story about themselves & their delusions of persecution,” she wrote. “People don’t want to read your hand-wringing. It’s not news. Nor is the 500th hit piece on Gov. DeSantis.”

Nope, t’ain’t. I still do hope and pray he doesn’t do it, but if Ron the Great does run for Prexy in ’24, he oughta name Pushaw as his Veep. Hell, I’d almost consider turning out to vote for THAT ticket myself, which is really saying something.

When compliance is treason, defiance is patriotic

Resist we much.

Let me ask one simple question: What small scrap of freedom are you holding onto that is worth watching the complete destruction of America in silence? That is not a question for this audience, because they’re largely motivated and act in whatever way they can to secure freedom and they are vocal. It’s a rhetorical question to ruminate over when you see your fellow Americans waving the flag for all they’re worth on July 4th with a mask on their face.

It’s a question for those who go to work everyday, believing, still, in the righteousness of the United States Government after two full years of demonstrating Soviet/communist tactics, lies and distortions of people like Deborah Birx, who openly admitted in her book that she falsified Covid numbers and death rates to inspire compliance from the people. The very simple term for that is fraud. She says, in essence, “yes, I lied about the dangers of Covid, because I wanted people to do what I said.” And, this is not a one-off, this is the typical attitude of our government employees. Another example of the hubris involved here is the video of the ATF showing up at someone’s house to demand serial numbers of recently purchased weapons, without a warrant. Listen to the condescending, casual method of stripping someone of their rights, the nonchalant oppression and subtle threats, particularly, “so we don’t have to come back.” part. It’s the bluff and bluster of low-level government officials to command obedience and to the degree that there is compliance, that is treasonous.

Every act of resistance begins with non-compliance. Over the years this should have become a habit of the patriot, to step up and deny any government agency’s authority, the laws, etc. I’ve always done this, but admittedly, only when my own ox was being gored, perhaps its time to fight back on a few other fronts. One doesn’t have to make filing lawsuits their life’s work, but one or two goes a long way.

Yes, the 2022 election, if not awash in fraud, as it likely will be, will be a watershed moment for the country. It’s likely to support and reaffirm that the green agenda is a political loser. Republicans are licking their lips over the successes that they’ll have, but they need to understand, the nation is not turning Republican, they are rebelling against insanity and a few candidates in the Republican Party carry the popular message for that rebellion. That’s all. To the extent that they grow emboldened to offer their own form of oppression, communist-lite oppression, they are overplaying their hand, which is what politics are made of, the ebb and flow of hubris.

The evil nature of government and those attracted to it are the opponents and only by taking on the administrative state on their own terms will the people succeed.

Do note that last: On our terms. Not the Satanstate’s—OURS, and ours alone. Reject our decades-long acceptance of the grotesque fallacy that we must prove ourselves to be more deserving of victory than them via agreeing to do battle exclusively on their terms—thereby confirming Team Liberty’s status as The Better Men, forever Taking The High Road and treating grunting swine rooting around in their own filth as if they were Our Esteemed Colleagues Across The Aisle and Right Honorable Gentlemen—and start kicking some asses up between some shoulder blades instead, and we just might turn this damned thing around.

As with the police and the military, We The People are under no obligation whatever to obey unlawful edicts. By both word and deed our Ruling Class, their misbegotten, twisted government, and its enabling creatures both high and low have forsaken all and every claim on our loyalty, our cooperation, our allegiance, and our forbearance. Their law is not our law anymore, if it ever truly was, thus is our duty not to respect it, but to undermine it, evade it, and sabotage its agents and works whenever practicable.

Too many of our putative allies tacitly offer the Ruling Class a benefit of the doubt they in no way deserve when they foolishly claim that all the havoc and calamity they wreak must surely be “unintended consequences,” issuing from mere ignorance or stupidity and not perfidy and dishonorable motives. This is purblind delusion of the most damaging sort imaginable, leading those still susceptible to such inane blibbering astray to mire themselves up to the axles in folly and futility. Worse, it also emboldens our Enemy, convincing him that his inapt subterfuges are actually working quite well, and ought to be not just continued but expanded.

Our traitorous would-be lords and masters and their servants, minions, and helpmates are all vermin—craven, treacherous, and conniving. They are both mentally and morally diseased, sick with an ideological affliction which is extremely contagious, one that’s universally fatal if it’s allowed to gain a foothold in the body politic and metastasize without treatment. An aggressive regimen of large doses of high-velocity lead, applied topically to the infected areas, is the only known cure. Thankfully, it works every time it’s tried.

We owe these infernal parasites nothing but our scalding, implacable enmity. To ourselves and our posterity, however, we owe everything: our deathless hatred for all tyrants, our fierce resistance, our unflagging resolve. Most especially, we owe to our posterity a ceaseless quest for vengeance against the pestilential plague-rats who wrested a once great and noble nation from our grasp, only to ruin and humiliate both it and us for no greater purpose than their own fleeting amusement.

With their compliance—their disgraceful cowardice and docility, their bland acceptance of the sibling modern scourges of despotism and raw brigandry, all melding to attain their most exalted expression as High Art during the lockdowns, mandates, and societal persecution of the Covid Infidels—Those Who Are No Longer Our Countrymen in effect chose a side. In the memorable words of the Knight Guardian of the Holy Grail, they chose…poorly. Let them burn in the fires of Righteousness alongside their lords and masters for their error, then.

Getting serious, getting real

Our friend Wes Renegade gave a speech at what he calls the Battle for the Republic LARP, with video and transcript posted at NCR. The denouement:

I love America. I love the country I grew up in. I love what our country was founded upon.

But the America I see today is in total moral collapse. Our country has become a woke cesspool of third world ghettos, full of drug addicts, insane feminist, and neutered soyboys. America it seems has become the greatest force for evil on this planet. You can’t vote your way out of evil. Evil must be confronted and destroyed. America has been in moral decay for decades now. We’ve done nothing but tolerate it. America has turned its back on its founding. We have discarded our Judeo-Christian founding for “do whatever makes you feel good evil.” Our “government” no longer represents us and has long since threw out the Rule of Law. You can see the double standard everywhere you look. The lady of justice is no longer blind and serves only the powers that be. Look no further than the January 6th political prisoners for this evidence.

We deserve what is fast approaching. The America we grew up in has long been dead. I don’t want to save our country. It needs to all come down and we need to rebuild it. Evil must be eliminated. Voting will not eliminate the great evil we are faced with.

We know who we are. It is our time to stand against this darkness, this evil. It is why we were born. It is why we are here now. It is time for us to be the warriors we have trained to be, that we know we are. It is time to quit sitting idly by and watching evil gain ground while the world burns.

We all have a decision to make. Either we stand and fight, or we purely and simply deserve everything that is heading our way.

Right now we are willingly lining up to get in those boxcars. All of us. We are all capable of fighting and all we are doing is talking and grumbling. Granted we might be at the back of the line, but we are still in line and that line is moving.

This isn’t someone else’s war, it’s our war, no one is coming to save us. It is all up to us. I personally have exhausted all peaceful means. I have tried to work within the system and do the right things to no avail. Not everyone will be fighters, I understand that, but I will not participate in this “voting” farce that so many seem to think can get us out this mess come fall. For those of you who have been sharpening your swords and don’t know what time it is, I can’t show you the clock.

It is up to us to secure freedom for the future generations. There is nowhere left to run to. It is time to stand against tyranny.

I apologize if my words here come across as harsh. But the truth often is harsh. It is past time to put up or shut up. And if we were even halfway serious about putting up, our so called “Government” would have shut us up by now. We need to quit having rallies on the deck of the Titanic and quit trying to convince ourselves that even “God himself can’t sink this ship.”

So, are you a LARPer? Or are you a Warrior?

Read of it, for It Is Good. New category, inspired by Wes’s cri de coeur of frustration and dismay: Culture Of Complacency.

What heroism looks like

Now let me see, how did that excellent old saying go: The only thing that ever stops a BAD guy with a gun is a GOOD guy with a gun. Something like that.

Less than three weeks after Indiana’s new constitutional carry law went into effect, an armed bystander shot and killed an assailant suspected of fatally shooting three people and injuring two others in an Indiana mall on Sunday evening.

Reports of a shooting in the Greenwood Park Mall began around 6 p.m. on Sunday when an unnamed gunman opened fire in the food court. After striking at least one male and four females including a 12-year-old girl, the suspected shooter was quickly shot and killed by a bystander who “observed the shooting in progress.”

As of Monday morning, police had not released the identity of the man who shot the gunman, but local news reports indicated he is 22 years old and from the nearby Bartholomew County.

“The real hero of the day is the citizen that was lawfully carrying a firearm in that food court and was able to stop the shooter almost as soon as he began,” Greenwood Police Chief Jim Ison told reporters.

Greenwood Mayor Mark Myers also praised the “good Samaritan” for stopping “further bloodshed.”

“This person saved lives tonight,” Myers said in a statement. “On behalf of the City of Greenwood, I am grateful for his quick action and heroism in this situation.”

Nice to hear the cops and the mayor talking like they have some sense here. CNN, on the other hand, squee-squee-squees in obnoxious, pussified disparagement of this young hero’s brave, selfless deed.

CNN tried to downplay the “good guy with a gun” by claiming that it is extremely rare for armed citizens to step in. Their article about the shooting dedicated four paragraphs to warning that, according to a New York Times data chart, “having more than one armed person at the scene who is not a member of law enforcement can create confusion and carry dire risks.”

Yeh, yeh. “Extremely rare,” is it? As every sensible non-hoplophobe will tell you, there is absolutely no way of knowing how many crimes, including potential mass murders, are thwarted every year by an AGGWAG (A Good Guy With A Gun) since, by definition, thwarted crimes aren’t reported.

As one would naturally expect given who and what these Creeple™ are, the Gun Grabbin’, Goosesteppin’ Left would have been much happier if more helpless, unarmed sheep had been slaughtered than to have to endure another nightmare scenario like this one.

If this be vigilantism, then make the most of it. At this point, it’s all too clear that the country needs all the vigilantes it can possibly get. That a young man only 22 years old could stand up straight and tall, ignore the serious threat to his own life, and save the day like he did says simply incredible things about him, his parents, and the way they raised their boy. Kudos to them; we’ll never, ever have enough like them.

Heroic update! I swear, this story just gets better and better.

Police say the “Good Samaritan” who ended a mass shooting at an Indiana mall by killing the gunman saved lives, noting that it only took two minutes from the time the suspect opened fire until when he was shot.

“Many more people would have died last night if not for the responsible armed citizen,” Greenwood Police Chief James Ison said during a press conference Monday.

The Good Samaritan, who was identified as Elisjsha Dicken, engaged the gunman within two minutes of the start of the shooting Sunday at Greenwood Park Mall. Police said Dicken approached the gunman from a distance and fired 10 rounds of ammunition at him, striking and killing him before he could retreat to a nearby bathroom.

“His actions were nothing short of heroic,” Ison said. “He engaged the gunman from quite a distance with a handgun. He was very proficient in that, very tactically sound. And as he moved to close in on the suspect, he was also motioning for people to exit behind him.”

Dicken, who Ison said did not have any police or military background, was at the mall with his girlfriend when the shooting broke out. He immediately turned himself into mall security after halting the shooting, with police saying he fully cooperated with the investigation and was released after police were able to watch the security camera footage.

Police say he was legally carrying his pistol under Indiana’s new constitutional carry law.

J. kb at GFZ says it for me.

He hit the shooter at 40-50 yards with a Glock 9mm.

This young man can out shoot most military and law enforcement in the country.

Dicken didn’t just kill an active shooter, he murdered the entire anti-concealed carry hand wringing that untrained civilians with guns make these situations more dangerous.

Fucking legend.

This guy should never have to pay for a drink in a bar ever again.

Damned skippy. Hats off to Dicken for his courage, his cool under fire, and his finely-honed skillset. He’s proved himself, beyond all debate, to be one hell of a shooter, one hell of a True American Hero, and one hell of a man. Let hoplophobic shitlibs, the Brady Bunch, and CNN cry in their fucking beer from now till Doomsday—Elisjsha Dicken is a pluperfect example of everything that’s still right with America.

Spicy Time cometh, and that right soon

Aesop runs us through the whole sad, sorry mess.

Consider me this:

An economy tottering on the edge of the abyss, run by blind drunken fools, yanking levers and pushing buttons, with no idea what anything does. Inflation that has eclipsed Jimmy Carter. Already. Money worth next to nothing. Economidiots who can’t grasp the relation of one thing to the other. Your earnings and savings spiraling into the ground.

A pure banana republic, with all the trimmings, trying desperately to prop itself up 24/7/365, with the most incompetent bumbling assclown in world history nominally running the con.

The government openly defying the Supreme Court, while egging the mob to actively undertake its violent destruction.

The total destruction of the average person’s ability to travel as they please, and the total destruction of the energy independence we enjoyed just three short years ago, in service of a fairytale about anthropogenic globull warming that’s been debunked more times than Bigfoot, the Loch Ness monster, and imaginary fake moon landings.

A burgeoning surveillance state that extends to every detail of your life, every waking minute, to every corner of the globe.

A bureaucracy that extends its nose into every nook and cranny of your life, 24/7/365/forever, and grows like a cancer on PCP.

A lamestream corporate media machine that cheers all of this on, and berates and beats the citizenry about the head and shoulders with manufactured faux news and fake crises around the clock, around the dial, and around the world, in an unrelenting stream of panic-induced frenzy, not just knowingly, but slobbering and drooling for that effect.

Look at what half the country did for two years, when a conservative president, with nominal single-party control of both houses of congress, held the reins of power. (Ignore what an unbelievably huge missed opportunity for freedom that was, but for the Uniparty RINO Establishment.)

Look what they’ve done so far, deliberately, after a fraudulent election visible from space, and not yet 18 months into holding the reins of power. To the Constitution. Civil rights. The rule of law. Public order. The military. The medical establishment. The territorial integrity of the country. The legitimacy of elections and peaceful transfers of power. The militarization of the police, while simultaneously undercutting any legitimate law enforcement anywhere, anytime, against any member of any pseudo-victim class. The violent overthrow and subsequent ass-raping of actual science and biological fact, in favor of naked advocacy and junk science. The endless gaslighting and demonization of the other half of the country. And the rank hypocrisy at their own tactics and attacks, going back decades.

A foreign power seeking to destroy the republic utterly could not have succeeded this well in their wildest dreams, and their attempts would have looked no less like what we’ve actually gotten than what we’ve actually gotten – from our own so-called “leaders”.

Then consider every brick in the foundations of civilization they have ripped out and smashed into dust, and the levers of division they’ve jammed so deeply into the edifice of the republic that it cannot possibly long endure.

Now, in light of this long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object, evincing an obvious desire to reduce The People under absolute despotism, unto a state of abject slavery,

How does this ever end in anything other than gunfire, bloodshed, and violence on a biblical scale, with rivers of blood, and mountains of bleached skulls afterwards?

Know well that once that kicks off, the only imperative is to WIN.

Sincerest apologies to my friend Aesop for curb-stomping the hell out of the concept of Fair Use, but this one was just too damned on-point NOT to hijack damned near the whole enchilada for reposting here. I thought the semi-stealth insertion of a direct quote from the DoI towards the end there an especially apt touch, seeing as how the ideals and precepts writ large therein are really what it’s all about going forward, and pretty much ALL it’s about.

For my own part, I’ll just let Breitbart say it for me one more time.

Can it be more than mere coinkydink that, in my YouTube library/playlist of “saved” videos, the Breitbart clip was immediately and automagically followed by Heston’s “from my cold dead hands, Mr Gore!” excerpt?

The United States Vs America

TL makes a crucial distinction.

I am pro-American, that does not mean pro-United States. America is a different thing from the United States. To whatever degree the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution support my God-given rights as an American, I’m all for it. When the U.S. Government, founded around those principles of the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, openly works against those principles, punishes those who seek to comply with those principles, I do not see the United States of America as a viable, working form of government.

The whole and sole purpose of the United States Government, as founded and clearly stated, is to secure individual rights and the principles of freedom. The problem is, the people have been coerced to accept miniscule violations of those principles over a period of time and each insignificant violation, on its own, impact those rights on a similarly miniscule level. However, when that process of requiring miniscule violations become the manner in which government operates, it ceases to be a minor exception and becomes a process of eliminating those rights and principles, delegitimizing the whole. It has done so.

That’s how we got to lockdowns and police enforcing unconstitutional, anti-American dictates from obscure “health officials.” It continues today, just in different ways. Some vaccine mandates have never been lifted. The United States Government is in the process of using all the tools of the federal government to destroy any claim or expectation of those rights and principles. That’s new, that’s revolutionary, that’s treason against that which provides the power to achieve it.

I began to recognize the federal government as illegitimate as far back as 2001 with the passage of the Patriot Act, something that those who participated in the documentary Lies of Omission 2021 (please watch it free on Tubi, our biggest supporter) directly address. Then, in 2008 and 2009 I became politically activated for the way in which it handled the banking crisis with a Republican president at the helm and especially because there was a Republican president at the helm.

All over the world people are coming to their senses and demanding a dissolution of their governments for failing the people, not without a great deal of pain and punishment that we have not felt in America as yet, but the signs are there. The holding of political prisoners, the J6 detainees, should be a much bigger deal than it is. The very idea of it is counter to the principles declared by our judicial system. They called it an insurrection, but only after the feds orchestrated, enabled and coerced it into one by leaving doors unlocked and instigators encouraged peaceful protestors to enter. Many of those who entered were part of the instigation and coercion, but only the innocent rubes that fell for it were apprehended and/or charged. That’s classic entrapment, for which the whole of it should be dismissed, but that would be an American response.

Nothing in the United States works along the lines of its design. Nothing. Your freedom, no matter how much of it you think you retain, is not freedom at all. It’s no more freedom than wandering from the southwest corner of one’s prison cell to the northeast corner is freedom. Your movements from beginning to end of your day are tracked, your phone calls recorded, your emails monitored, blogs like this kept for the day they need to bring me before their tribunals, insanely enough, for un-American activities. I don’t expect to live that long and not because of age.

All of TL’s anquished cri de coeur is tragic, the moreso because it’s all too true. As I’ve long insisted, any “right” you have to get a permit from the goobermint to exercise isn’t really a right at all—by definition, it’s a privilege. Hats off to little Sri Lanka, for showing the rest of us how it’s fucking DONE.

Sri Lanka president captured on video fleeing as protestors storm Colombo residence
Sri Lanka President Gotabaya Rajapaksa was captured on video escaping via ship on the day protesters stormed his official Colombo residence.

In the video, President Rajapaksa is seen running and rolling his luggage onto a large navy ship. His escape comes after the storming of his official Colombo residence and the burning of Prime Minister Wickremesinghe’s home, which occurred on Saturday — now deemed D-Day. The large viral demonstrations took place despite the president’s attempts at a 36-hour state of emergency and ban of social media.

Upon the storming of the residence, Sri Lanka’s 26-member cabinet resigned en masse at midnight. Initially, the exceptions were President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.

However, Wickremesinghe resigned soon after, stating on Twitter, “to ensure the continuation of the government including the safety of all citizens I accept the best recommendation for the Party Leaders today, to make way for an All-Party Government. To facilitate this I will resign as Prime Minister.”

The large-scale takeover by the demonstrators comes after months of protests on the streets of Sri Lanka and its worst economic crisis in history. Inflation in Sri Lanka has risen to above 50 percent, leading to crushing food and energy shortages. It led the country to run their foreign currency reserves into the ground and significantly increase foreign debt.

In addition, Sri Lanka police and military have been accused of using violence to push back demonstrations. With at least 55 people injured during protests, there have also been accusations of torture, tear gas use and the application of an “illegal” police curfew.

Further confirmation of my maxim, as if any were needed: At some point, enough is fucking enough.

Comments policy

NOTE: In order to comment, you must be registered and approved as a CF user. Since so many user-registrations are attempted by spam-bots for their own nefarious purposes, YOUR REGISTRATION MAY BE ERRONEOUSLY DENIED.

If you are in fact a legit hooman bean desirous of registering yourself a CF user name so as to be able to comment only to find yourself caught up as collateral damage in one of my irregularly (un)scheduled sweeps for hinky registration attempts, please shoot me a kite at the email addy over in the right sidebar and let me know so’s I can get ya fixed up manually.

ALSO NOTE: You MUST use a valid, legit email address in order to successfully register, the new anti-spam software I installed last night requires it. My thanks to Barry for all his help sorting this mess out last night.

Comments appear entirely at the whim of the guy who pays the bills for this site and may be deleted, ridiculed, maliciously edited for purposes of mockery, or otherwise pissed over as he in his capricious fancy sees fit. The CF comments section is pretty free-form and rough and tumble; tolerance level for rowdiness and misbehavior is fairly high here, but is NOT without limit.

Management is under no obligation whatever to allow the comments section to be taken over and ruined by trolls, Leftists, and/or other oxygen thieves, and will take any measures deemed necessary to prevent such. Conduct yourself with the merest modicum of decorum, courtesy, and respect and you'll be fine. Pick pointless squabbles with other commenters, fling provocative personal insults, issue threats, or annoy the host (me) and...you won't.

Should you find yourself sanctioned after running afoul of the CF comments policy as stated and feel you have been wronged, please download and complete the Butthurt Report form below in quadruplicate; retain one copy for your personal records and send the others to the email address posted in the right sidebar.

Please refrain from whining, sniveling, and/or bursting into tears and waving your chubby fists around in frustrated rage, lest you suffer an aneurysm or stroke unnecessarily. Your completed form will be reviewed and your complaint addressed whenever management feels like getting around to it. Thank you.

"I predict that the Bush administration will be seen by freedom-wishing Americans a generation or two hence as the hinge on the cell door locking up our freedom. When my children are my age, they will not be free in any recognizably traditional American meaning of the word. I’d tell them to emigrate, but there’s nowhere left to go. I am left with nauseating near-conviction that I am a member of the last generation in the history of the world that is minimally truly free."

"If the laws of God and men, are therefore of no effect, when the magistracy is left at liberty to break them; and if the lusts of those who are too strong for the tribunals of justice, cannot be otherwise restrained than by sedition, tumults and war, those seditions, tumults and wars, are justified by the laws of God and man."
