Righteous shoot

Another goblin bites the fucking dust.

This is why you don’t rob a man while he’s trying to enjoy his taco

Yeah, that perp is dead.

From Fox San Antonio:

A robbery suspect was shot and killed by a customer inside a Mexican restaurant on Houston’s Southwest Side. …

Houston Police said a masked man pointed a “fake gun” at customers who were eating and demanded their wallets and money.

The gun wasn’t even real!

This criminal mastermind lost his life by waving around a fake gun for taco money.

But if this good citizen is reading this: You’ve got to make a statement to the police, my man!

Police said all the customers, including the shooter, left before officers arrived at the scene.

“It would be great if they would come back to the scene and talk to us or call HPD homicide,” said Houston Police Lt. R. Willkens. “They need to give us their statements especially the individual who did the shooting and left.”

Even in Texas, you can’t just shoot a bad guy and then flee the scene!!

In a pig’s eye. Under NO circumstances should this Good Citizen (which is precisely what he is) “call HPD homicide”—no, not even in Texas. For one thing, he topped the now-room-temperature goblin as said goblin was walking away, with his back partially turned to said citizen. Remember: the cops are NOT your friends, nor are they on the side of anything resembling justice, civil order, or basic decency.

Worse yet, what we have here is a Whypeepo (a/k/a white supremacist insurrectionist coup-plotting Sacred Temple Of Democracy-defiling MAGA terrorist) taking out a blameless Dindu, entirely for shits and giggles. With all that stacked against Good Citizen, Officer Friendly of Houston Homicide will have Good Citizen slapped in durance vile for Murder 2 so fast his head would never stop spinning.

It’s truly sad that we’ve come to this, but the simple fact is that when law and order is allowed to disintegrate into utter meaningless—or actively encouraged to by TPTB, no less—then vigilante justice is the only justice Joe Normal can ever hope to get. And, well, here we all are. They’ve sown it, and now reaping time approacheth.

20 Superheroes

Please note the absence of capes.

Dozens of prominent conservatives, including a former attorney general for the Reagan administration, released a letter Wednesday in support of the 20 House Republicans standing between Rep. Kevin McCarthy and his bid for the speakership.

“Months ago, these members made clear that this established way of doing things was no longer acceptable,” the Conservative Action Project letter said. “Rather than engage them in a good faith negotiation, Rep. Kevin McCarthy has instead maligned both the requests and the messengers. He has publicly and through proxies leveled attacks against members of his own party, including threatening to deny committee assignments for those who continue to oppose him.”

Some of the signees included Edwin Meese III, former attorney general for Ronald Reagan, Ginni Thomas, president of Liberty Consulting and wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and Jim DeMint, chairman of the Conservative Partnership Institute and former U.S. senator.

Composite pic of these true American heroes, screengrabbed off of GP:

The White Hats
God bless ’em all for standing strong and tall

God bless ’em indeed, every one. The spectacularly entertaining futility of Kevin’s Folly continued through today with a historic (most since 1859, I believe it is) eleven ballots held sans denouement and will pick up again tomorrow at noon, so as to allow all the august national “leaders” time to recover from their throbbing hangovers and hunt around in the closet and under the bed for whatever pitiful scraps of dignity they may once have had, if any. Aesop pithily analyzes the doin’s.

Much funnier than watching Moscow try to take Kiev, and almost as funny as watching Emperor Stumblefuck Poopypants try to form coherent sentences without crapping himself.

And for all the punditry that claims “conservatives” never conserved anything: HTF do you expect them to do that, when there are apparently only 20 of them out of 222 nominal Republicans in the House? (And that’s probably a high-water mark in the last 50 years.)

BTW, we note in passing, there is no requirement anywhere whatsoever that the Speaker of the House be a sitting congressweasel. Which means, just for giggles, that the Republicants (not a typo) could, if they so chose, elect President Donald J. Trump to the post, and there’s fuck-all anyone else could do about it. He would thus preside over the entire run of the 118th Congress in the House of Representatives, assign committee seats, decide what bills moved forward for voting, etc., yet without a vote himself on any bills.

Just for the comedy factor, it’d be a YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE win, while emphasizing the smallness and ineptitude of Emperor Poopypants to serve as the selected Fraudulent.

Just saying.

And I’m just agreeing, brother. Alas, with the willful destruction of the supply-chain and all, I fear the nation’s available popcorn supply is gonna wind up falling FAR short of demand before this all shakes out completely. Meanwhile, no money is being spent; no unnecessary, redundant, and/or meddlesome legislation is being passed; and the essential gridlock so wisely hard-coded into the system by the Founders remains in effect, for the nonce. For which blessing we can all be thankful.

Update! Close. No cigar.

It is clear that Republicans in Congress are upset.

They have every right to be.

But it’s McConnell, not McCarthy!

DUDE, embrace the healing power of AND, ferchrissakes.

Sorry, don’t care

Let’s try something a little out of the ordinary here: a fisking done entirely via FIFY (Fixed It For Ya).

A man who allegedly entered the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021 is being persecuted by the patently illegitimate system without ever having committed an actual crime, is now being accused of conspiring to kill FBI agents Ordnungspolizei thugs.

Edward Kelley, 33, has been charged with conspiracy, solicitation to commit a crime of violence, and other charges committing acts of patriotism and righteous justice, according to a criminal complaint ginned up pack of risible lies unsealed on Dec. 16.

“Today’s allegations ineptly-contrived falsehoods that individuals sought to attack and hurt or kill FBI personnel jackbooted Stasi goons are sickening heartening and encouraging to any right-thinking Real American. FBI employees honorably insidiously perform their duties lawless acts of intimidation, violence, and soulless perfidy against guiltless Americans protecting the American public and upholding the Constitution oppressing the American public and flouting the Constitution and they should be able to execute these duties without threats of violence must be resisted at every possible turn, by any conceivable effective means,” FBI Amerikan Gestapo Director Christopher Wray said in a statement another of his regularly-scheduled attempts at misdirection, blame-shifting, and deceit.

It still just galls the living hell out of me that Trump ever hired this asshole in the first place, it really does, another of his myriad self-damaging bad decisions that both puzzles and infuriates at once. As for Herr Wray’s obnoxious, self-serving whine, I’m with Bill on that.

Yeah, yeah. Nobody believes your crap any more, Director Liemore. Anymore than I believe this faked up arrest has anything to do with the way you are reporting it.

You cloud people want a low trust society? Well, you’ve got one.

Indeed. May they have joy of their choice, and that right soon.

A good and decent man

That would be the greatest Supreme Court justice we ever have had, the completely admirable and honorable Clarence Thomas.

“Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward.” — Matthew 6:2

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas embodies this verse well, as it has recently come to light that he has been quietly placing Christmas wreaths on the graves of American veterans for years.

D.C. journalist and author Emily Miller spotted Thomas volunteering for Wreaths Across America at Arlington National Cemetery on Saturday, as seen in a photo she posted to Twitter.

Wreaths Across America is a charitable organization that mobilizes thousands of volunteers every year to put wreaths on the graves of veterans and fallen soldiers.

This isn’t the first year Thomas has volunteered at Arlington Cemetery, either.

The justice can be seen in a candid photo from 2013 helping to clean up the cemetery after the Christmas season on a rainy January day.

The un-self-conscious nature of the photo stands in stark contrast to the contrived photo-ops that Democratic politicians conjure up for their own selfish ambitions and narratives.

Which, there have been plenty of those, to the surprise of no sane and aware person. Exhibit A:

Democratic New Jersey Rep. Andy Kim shamelessly attempted to gain clout from the Capitol incursion by cleaning up the “carnage,” as described by one Facebook user — the carnage being a few water bottles.

A photo captured Kim “experiencing the horror firsthand,” while everything around him looked hilariously pristine.

The photo-op photo in question:

The horror, the horror
Nope, doesn’t look staged at all to me

The thing to remember here is, as the author reiterates in his closing ‘graphs, Justice Thomas has been going about his good works on the QT rather than making sure plenty of Enemedia cameras were on hand to publicize him for it. It’s exactly as the last line says:

We could use more people in Washington demonstrating a spirit of humility and gratitude rather than selfish ambition.

Couldn’t we, though. Couldn’t we just.

Lock ’em up, lock ’em up, lock em ALLLL up!

Swiping a page from Elon Musk, my preferred pronouns are Fauci/Prison.

DeSantis to pursue legal fight against Big Pharma in the criminal arena, recruiting additional states for ‘shadow CDC’

Following his two major announcements on Tuesday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis made himself available for a Q&A with The Dossier along with a couple other media outlets.

Governor DeSantis had just announced that he was petitioning the Florida Supreme Court to impanel a grand jury with the hopes to “investigate crimes and wrongdoing committed against Floridians related to the COVID-19 vaccine.”  He also announced the establishment of a Public Health Integrity Committee, which the Florida Governor also referred to as a “shadow CDC” that seeks to hold the federal government’s health bureaucracy accountable.

Hot DOG! Might Real Americans finally be getting a “shadow government” of their own?

The Dossier asked Governor DeSantis if he was specifically focusing on Pfizer and Moderna, because they are the only pharmaceutical companies that provide mRNA Covid injections in the United States.

“Yes, for sure,” the governor responded, adding, “I think we will look beyond that too, because there were a lot of fraudulent representations made” with the government health institutions as well. In the earlier panel, the governor and his co-panelists cited claims by Dr Fauci, the CDC director, and the many others who grossly misrepresented claims about the supposedly “safe and effective” shots that were fraudulently marketed as providing immunity and blocking transmission.

The governor added that the vaccine mandates were “based on premises that turned out not to be accurate,” so the fight in the Supreme court will be “broader than” just Big Pharma, and will also target federal overreach.

Citing the 2005 PREP Act, a bill passed in 2005 by Congress that clears the drug companies of virtually all civil liability, Governor DeSantis discussed his approach to petitioning the Florida Supreme Court.

“They’ll go into federal court and try to squash anything that we do, but that liability does not include criminal,” he said of the Big Pharma protections. “We’re going to do our process with the grand jury. We will have more heft than a congressional committee would anyway, because it’s a criminal process, not just civil.”

Good on ya, Gov. Keep up the fine work.

A real mystery

Keep checking six, Elon.

Elon Musk Vows To Reveal Government And Media Collusion Once He Figures Out Where These Red Dots Are Coming From

AUSTIN, TX — The world waited eagerly for further information on the Hunter Biden laptop story suppression from Twitter owner Elon Musk, who had vowed to reveal the details of potential government collusion with the media as soon as he can figure out why he keeps seeing little red dots hovering around on his body.

“I have every intention of being as transparent and straightforward in this matter as possible,” Musk said on a Zoom call interview as a trio of red dots swirled around on his forehead. “All will be known very shortly. I just have to determine why I’m suddenly covered in these little, red laser dots.”

Witnesses close to Musk said the dots first began to appear shortly after he tweeted his intention to provide details about Twitter suppressing the Hunter Biden laptop scandal in the fall of 2020, shortly before the presidential election. “Within minutes of writing that tweet, we noticed the little dots appearing on the walls of every room Elon was in,” said Adrian Haj, a member of Musk’s inner circle. “We didn’t think anything of it at first, but now they’re everywhere. Weird!”

It’s funny, but then again it really isn’t…because you know as well as I do that they’d have no qualms whatsoever about offing the guy. Hopefully, Elon knows that too, and will be taking serious precautions going forward.

Update! Really, now, how could any red-blooded Real American not just love this man?

DeSantis hell, I just may endorse Elon Musk for Prez in 2024.

Via Bill, who notes that there’s actually a serious side to this. I repeat: how can you not just love the guy?

“Are you enjoying living under tyranny? Because that’s what this is”

Wes Renegade hits the nail right square on the head.

Patriots, We have a Problem. Evil is gaining ground every day. The darkness is approaching and we are bickering amongst ourselves over who is the smartest person in the room.

We are doing exactly what the enemy wants us to do. Nothing!

Maybe I just expected more when I published the New Declaration of Independence.

Evil has stolen our country. Evil is pursuing our children. Evil is destroying our History. Evil is destroying our traditions. Evil is erasing everything that was once good in this country.

None of this ends well if we don’t unite!

Take the Moore County substation attacks for example. It’s really simple for me. If someone finally did something to stand against evil I applaud them. I’m not going to condemn them because I don’t necessarily agree with their approach. They did something. If it was foreign actors, which I find highly unlikely, then we can expect more of those attacks or something bigger in the near future. So be it. Either way it is another notch click up on the sportiness to come and we should not be fighting amongst ourselves over something that brings us closer to active Revolution.

They’ve called us conspiracy theorist for so long now. Yet our “theories” are proven to be right almost on a daily basis now. And yet, we do Nothing!

Operative word here being: YET. In times like these, it’s sometimes difficult to remember a simple, inarguable truth: throughout all of history, no tyranny has ever been permanent. Sooner or later, one way or another, they all fall. So take heart, folks, and don’t give in to despair. The same fate all the others have met surely awaits this one, too.

Just following orders

Didn’t fly at Nuremberg, shouldn’t oughta be expected to fly now. Tough noogies, Offissa Pup.

The ugly backstory:

More details:

A Fredericksburg restaurant that has repeatedly made headlines for defying Virginia’s COVID mandates during the height of the pandemic and battling to maintain its licenses was subject to a search and seizure by the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority (ABC) Friday morning.

A search warrant was issued for Gourmeltz’s sales records and any information related to “possession of alcoholic beverages without a license, maintaining a common nuisance and the illegal sale of alcoholic beverages.”

Gourmeltz owner Matt Strickland had his license to sell wine/beer/mixed beverages on and off-premises suspended in September 2021, but ABC put a stay on enforcing the order to give Strickland time to appeal. In November 2022, a final ruling was issued and ABC ordered Gourmeltz to halt selling alcohol for 90 days. The agency said it would reduce the suspension to 15 days if Strickland paid a $4,000 penalty and more than $6,400 in investigation costs.

But Gourmeltz did not comply.

The details matter here.

Strickland lost his liquor license for refusing to shut down, mask up, and destroy his livelihood at the behest of a government making illegal orders that did absolutely nothing to stop a respiratory virus that was largely only lethal to the elderly.

The state then tried to strong-arm Strickland into admitting his guilt and assuming financial responsibility for the fiasco by telling him it would only slap him on the wrist if he paid the government $10,000.

When the media tells you he “did not comply,” understand the framework of abject tyranny that surrounds the situation.

Back to the Hodge Twins for their perfect followup:

“We have a court order”

To our brothers in blue, it’s time to start speaking up when you know something ain’t right. This man put his biz and family on the line when the tyrants shut him down and tried extorting money from him.

“I’m just doing my job” won’t work anymore.

Well, it damned sure shouldn’t, at any rate. Let the last word be Strickland’s.

More context on Strickland from a 2021 article written by my coworker Daniel Payne when he was writing for Just The News:

Like many restaurateurs, the Stricklands shut down in the early months of 2020 as the COVID-19 pandemic spread. Strickland said he attempted to do carryout-only but the restaurant was unable to generate enough income to maintain operations. In June, he said, he opened up his storefront again under Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam’s reopening guidelines, among which were numerous dining regulations and capacity limits.

“We followed all the governor’s mandates when the COVID stuff first happened,” Strickland said, “because I didn’t know what COVID was about just like anybody else.” After reopening several months into the pandemic, however, he said the new spate of restaurant regulations “were about something else other than our health and safety” because “they just made no sense.”

“Nobody could sit at a bar, but you could put a table up next to the bar and sit,” he said. “You had to wear a mask just to walk in but when you sit down, you can take it off. [The] regulations made no common sense.”

The state was “starting to strip away the constitutional rights and freedoms of myself and my customers,” he said. “And I wasn’t going to be part of that.”

Fuck the Virginia Waffen SS officers in the liver with a rusty railroad spike for their disgusting role as tyranny-pimps, attempting to ruin an honorable and entirely blameless small-business owner struggling to provide for his family under their godawful yoke. One must hope that there’s an especially warm corner of Hell waiting to welcome their sorry asses for all eternity when their time at long last arrives.

Update! I consider the above story more than adequate confirmation of the truth of Divemedic’s contention:

People need to have a belief that the police are not just another criminal street gang. The more I interact with and see how police work, the more I come to believe that we would be better without them. I have only called them a few times, and each time they did nothing more than write a report. It was a waste of time.

I have said before: the police need to clean up their ranks. I don’t think you can, because I believe that the bad cops far outnumber the good ones. The police have become just another group of criminals who prey on the people in this nation who actually produce wealth. They are a street gang with badges and qualified immunity.

He was writing in regards to another matter altogether, yes, but the core principle holds across contexts.

Updated update! More Matt Strickland, who knows all too well what the fuck time it is.

The Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority (ABC) on Friday raided a popular bar and grill that violated the state’s COVID-19  guidelines early in the pandemic. Matt Strickland, the owner of Gourmeltz in Fredericksburg, is an Army veteran who says it’s important to stand up to tyrannical government edicts, so the next generation doesn’t have to.

“You’re part of the problem, I want you to know that,” Strickland told an ABC officer during the raid. “Every one of you is part of the problem.” The Army vet argued that “just doing my job” is not an excuse for “shutting down a man’s livelihood” over mandates “that didn’t do anything to prevent COVID” and were “detrimental to the community.”

Strickland told the ABC officers that the mandates were also detrimental to the nation’s children. “It set our kids back so many years, it set small businesses back so many years,” he lamented. “It destroyed small businesses, it destroyed families, it destroyed our community,” he added, as the officers stood around, stone-faced and silent.

“What the state of Virginia just did is they took my livelihood away from me right before Christmas,”  Strickland later told Fox 5 DC.

In a video posted on YouTube at the time, he told customers that he would not close down his place of business.

“Bottom line is the governor said so – so you have to comply with these mandates,” Strickland said in the video. “I told him politely – I said I’m not in the military anymore, I’m not gonna do something just because you tell me to do it. I’m a civilian now and if you want me to do something it needs to make sense and it needs to not infringe on my constitutional rights and it needs to be lawful.”

“I’m not paying any fine. I’m not serving any suspension, and the reason for that is because I did nothing wrong,” said Strickland, who is planning to run for State Senate in 2023.

“I’m not concerned whatsoever,” Strickland replied when asked if he was worried the state could take further action against his business. “I’ve been ready to die for my country since I was 17 years old, and I’m willing to fight as long and as hard as it takes to make sure that this fight that I’m in right now, this fight that we’re all in right now, doesn’t get passed down to the next generation.”

Good on ya, Matt. Nothing but best wishes and good thoughts to you from here.

And YOU are there

Weasel links to a riveting helmet-cam vid shot from the cockpit hot-seat of a bona fide classic: the legendary P47D Thunderbolt Mk II (ie, the prettier, more elegant bubble-canopy version, not the razorback). When, at around 2:50 or so, the pilot turns the engine over and that Pratt & Whitney Double Wasp finally catches and comes rumbling and grumbling to life, I confess I wet myself just a little.

That tandem takeoff roll is pretty damned schweet too, as are the simulated attack runs on some kind of boat or barge in the river. The pilot proceeds from there to really put the Jug through its paces, albeit at relatively low altitudes (many of those who flew them in both the European and Pacific theaters held that the P47 performed best above 30,000 feet, despite its great success in the ground-attack role), and it’s great fun to watch as he does it.

From the looks of the river and the nearby city skyline, I suspect this was filmed at the annual Thunder Over Louisville airshow, which I was fortunate to kinda-sorta attend several times from a hotel room when I was there for the Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot. See, the hotel we always stayed at was on the glide path to the airport nearby, which to my boundless delight also happened to be where the various planes staged from, before heading down to the river to do their fly-by passes for the show.

Any red-blooded American male with an ounce of affection for military aviation in his soul is bound to enjoy this video as much as I did myself, I’d imagine; it’s 44 and a half minutes of pure flyboy enjoyment, shot from a perspective that leaves you veritably gasping for breath at times. Mucho, mucho thanks to Weasel for hipping us to this.

Problem: HANDLED

In some situations, there just ain’t no substitute for direct action.

That right there is how it is fucking DONE, people. Two things about this vid that I just can’t help but love: 1) The way the big dude so casually swipes the douchenozzle’s legs out of the way at :015 in with his foot, and 2) the fact that the fucking retards all so conscientiously donned their orange, reflective-taped vests—for SAFETY, one assumes—before going out to lie down in the street in front of a whacking great mass of oncoming traffic.

Idiots.

Liberal arts revolution?

A revolution due, and well past due.

It took the post-war prosperity and a culture of pleasure to finally throw off the verities of Western Civilization, and in that process the throwing away of education in real things in favor of notional things that would serve a progressive agenda. The liberal arts were repurposed to a radical form of groupthink, a new anti-liberalism in education. At its best in the last fifty years, higher education serves only Mammon, getting the graduate good connections and high-paying careers. Thus the liberal arts became servile arts.

When the liberal arts seemed destined for shipwreck, three men stood up and decided to do something radical at a state university. They decided to engage in an Experiment in Tradition.

These three men were John Senior, Dennis Quinn, and Frank Nelick, and their experiment was the Integrated Humanities Program (IHP) at the University of Kansas.  This writer was a student in this program in the seventies in Kansas. It started small. But I have seen it grow into an international educational movement, with many colleges, primary schools, and curricula based on the educational philosophy of John Senior and the practice of the IHP.

Their revolution was to expose students to real things, to delight in memorizing poetry, song, stargazing, observation of nature, and the great books. This brought out a dormant sense of awe and wonder in students. This was the necessary ingredient to philosophy and all true education, according to Plato and Aristotle, and to Newman.

Students were not taught to dissect the great and good books of Western culture, but instead to understand them, to be receptive to ancient wisdom – in the sense of really seeing as Joseph Pieper explains in Leisure: the Basis of Culture. The emphasis was not on mastery over the world, but on loving the works.

In the IHP students learned that truth was knowable, in nature, great books, poetry, great art, and science. This sort of education allows for experiential or connatural learning, focused on internalizing what is studied, attuned to the senses as well as the intellect. Students came to realize they had been indoctrinated in ignorance of real education, and the IHP provided a remedy. In fact, John Senior said what they were doing was remedial, since students lacked the necessary preparation for a traditional classical education.

Other professors and administrators were threatened by this highly successful program. It had to be suppressed. You just couldn’t allow students to run around talking about truth as if it could be known. It was the beginning of what we now know as political correctness, the liberal orthodoxy that admitted of only one direction – “progress” away from the West and the jettisoning of our Judeo-Christian patrimony.

The university held hearings, parading students to testify about Jewish conversions, attitudes about women that were too traditional, education that was too retrograde, not open to new ideas. In short, after nearly ten years of success, this program had to be done in, because it was too “controversial.” The radicalism of the sixties was not too controversial, nor was sexual experimentation, nor the embrace of every odd philosophy and cult. But a return to our roots, or at least an exploration of what was good or potentially worth knowing in Western Culture – that was revolutionary. The experiment in tradition had to be killed, as it were, death by administration.

But as with all excellent ideas, it is harder to kill them than you might think. The great revenge of IHP is that this experiment in the liberal arts bore great fruit, and it continues to bear fruit in numerous vocations to marriage and large families, in two American bishops and numerous monks and nuns, in a monastery in Oklahoma where vocations are exploding, in the founding of a college based on the great books in the great outdoors, and in the many other returns to sanity based on their pedagogical experiment.

Many have retreated in the face of cancel culture on campuses. But it is not a time for retreat. It is a time to re-engage, to start a new revolution of the liberal arts, the kind Newman had in mind, one program at a time, one school at a time, one repurposed curriculum at a time, at the primary level, and in colleges or universities that seem moribund and incapable of a return to education in real things.

We’ve discussed many times around these here parts the essential first step of reclaiming the academy from the iron clutches of the Left gargoyles who have, to our enormous cost, so effectively usurped it, if we seriously hope to reclaim our country over the longer term. It is heartening indeed to learn of a successful campaign aimed at doing precisely that. Even so, Porretto sounds something of a somber, cautionary note.

Too many are talking about rebellion as if it were exclusively a political act. Nothing could be further from the truth. Rebellion may end in arms, but it begins in the mind…

The cited column ends on a hopeful note, but be warned: hope looks not to the present but the future, and the future is not fixed in shape. The mental rebellion kindled by those three daring educators – real educators this time, in contrast to the sort that usually parade the title – might have left seeds, if not at the University of Kansas, then perhaps elsewhere, that will germinate yet.

We can but hope. Regardless, hats off to Senior, Quinn, and Nelick for their most noble effort.

Semper fidelis

It’s a crying shame she “lost,” really.

Kari Lake Responds to Speculation She May Drop Trump After Midterms

Arizona GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake responded to speculation that she could be a conservative star if she pivots away from former President Donald Trump, who had endorsed her.

“If she concedes graciously in the coming days and weeks, then I think there could be a path for her in the future in politics in Arizona,” political consultant Lorna Romero told the Washington Examiner this week, adding that “it still seems like she is mulling over a potential lawsuit over the way Maricopa County handled the election” and if Lake “goes down that route, I think she will forever be branded as a Trump-type candidate.”

“I think her political career in Arizona will be over. At that point, her only path would be to be on a conservative talk show somewhere,” Romero said.

After the Washington Examiner published its story on Twitter, Lake responded: “Never.”

And with that, it becomes not only clear but inarguable that, insofar as she DID “lose,” the loss wasn’t hers alone, but every Real American’s as well.

“President Trump announces his ‘24 Presidential run,” she wrote on Truth Social following the former president’s announcement that he will make a third bid for the White House. “He has my complete and total endorsement!”

During the Republican primary, Lake received Trump’s endorsement, allowing her to win the party’s nomination over a candidate who was backed by current Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey and former Vice President Mike Pence.

Don’t be a stranger, ma’am. The more we hear from you, the better off we’re all going to be for it, win, lose, or draw.

Prophecy, and the one path forward

Frighteningly prescient words from the CSA’s Maj Gen Pat Cleburne.

Everyone must understand the meaning of subjugation before it is too late.

It means our history will be written by our enemies.

It means our children will be taught by our enemies.

It means our enemies will craft an alternate view of reality which cannot be questioned.

It means we will be deprived of our Rights and Liberties.

It means the true issues will be obscured and our enemies will employ the vilest accusations to shield their true intent and motivation.

It means those to whom we owe honor and gratitude will be viewed as traitors and worse.

Eerie, no? Wes Renegade uses it as a springboard to dive into a speech he wrote to be delivered at a town council meeting that ended up being cancelled, albeit for the very best of reasons.

Today this prophecy spoken more than a century ago is being fulfilled in this very room.

There are some who will say it is too harsh to call those who seek to banish the Sons of the Confederates from the Faith parade our “enemies.” You can not compromise with evil. That we need to find some sort of compromise in an effort to achieve reconciliation and avoid conflict. But those agitators who are actually driving this movement are not acting in good faith. They do not want peace and resolution. Just as we saw with the recent battle over a local historical landmark Fame, if we give on this issue, it will only open more wounds and fuel further unrest. And we will soon find this was only the new starting point for the next conflict they already have in mind as they march toward their ultimate goal of complete subjugation. For our enemies behind this push not only seek to strip us of our Rights, they demand we fundamentally transform history, that we denounce our heritage, and that we even disavow our noble ancestors who gave their all for us. These ARE the enemies of which Major General Cleburne forewarned.

Many in our community do not understand what is ultimately at stake here. But our enemies DO. That is why they will not have an honest dialogue with those of us who stand in opposition to them. This is why they ascribe to us the vilest motives and epithets they can hurl – because they know the true motives of their own hearts. They don’t care about our history which they denigrate. They don’t care about our heritage which they slander. They just know we are obstacles in the way of achieving their true goal.

So who are these enemies? They are relatively new on the scene – which is why we did not have these conflicts just a few years ago.

They are Marxist Community Organizers who follow the instructions of their evil godfather Alinsky by coming into our communities, finding the sore spots and then rubbing them raw in order to foment discord and gain more power for themselves. They are wolves in sheep’s clothing who masquerade behind titles such as “Reverend” because, as their high priestess of baby sacrifice Margaret Sanger explained, this is how to deceptively garner good favor in the Christian South.

They are the ones who use the façade of a small local bookstore to nurture and spread contention as they divide our community and put pressure on other businesses to bow to their personal will.

So this, then, is ultimately an existential conflict between the offspring of two very different fathers. We are PROUD to be Sons of the Confederates and we will never bend the knee to these Marxist agitators and instigators. Because we understand what motivates their actions, we are not deceived by their words. Because we know and love our heritage, we honor our fathers who passed it down to us. Because, as Christ said, our enemies are of a different father who has come to lie, to cheat, and to ultimately destroy, they are going about doing his work.

Amen to all that, my friend. With big, fat, clanging bells on.

The power of information control

It’s the first crucial step along the way to establishing dictatorial control over everything else.

In light of the clown show that was the election on Tuesday I wanted to share some of my thoughts on what I see as the path forward from here. I made a post on Gab yesterday that got tens of thousands of engagements both on and off Gab. I think it’s important to analyze why this post resonated so widely and where we go from here.

That’s Andrew Torba, following up on the Gab post I mentioned here last night.

One thing I noticed in the thousands of replies of this post is the unity across the generations. If you know anything about the Gab community, or perhaps from your own experience with the people in your own life, it’s that Boomers and Zoomers rarely agree on anything especially when it comes to political strategy.

On this subject though there seems to be a mass consensus across every generation from young to old: between election fraud, citizen disenfranchisement via decades of illegal aliens invading our country, and the Regime’s total control over the flow of information and censorship of any dissent: Republicans have zero chance of winning the Presidency in 2024.

Millions of people are waking up to the reality that a small percentage of the population controls 98% of the flow of information and news to the people. This is incredibly important. No other political issue matters more. He who controls the media controls the minds of the masses. It’s that simple.

Gab community member @PaxChristus made a post that demonstrates this reality well.

In Russia, where gay propaganda is banned, 70% of people oppose gay marriage and that number has been increasing in recent years.

In America, where opposition to LGBT is heavily censored, 70% of people support gay marriage and that number has been increasing in recent years.

Democracy is purely about information control.

As the top commenter on this post pointed out, German conservative revolutionaries like Oswald Spengler realized this in the early 1900’s.

Democracy has become a weapon of moneyed interests. It uses the media to create the illusion that there is consent from the governed. The press today is an army with carefully organized weapons, the journalists its officers, the readers its soldiers. The reader neither knows nor is supposed to know the purposes for which he is used and the role he is to play. The notion of democracy is often no different than living under a plutocracy or government by wealthy elites. -Oswald Spengler

People like Fetterman “winning” is just another Regime humiliation ritual on the American people. They have that much control over our country that they can have Biden installed in the Presidency and Fetterman—who has literal brain damage—installed in the US Senate.

We have to remember that the people in power are rootless cosmopolitan globalist elites. They don’t see themselves as Americans. They see themselves as “global citizens.” They have no pride in our country. They hate it, they hate us, and they want to humiliate Americans while extracting as much of our resources, labor, and military power as possible.

That’s about the size of it, yeah. Bleak as the current situation is, though, Torba isn’t succumbing to despair just yet.

The Path Forward: Balkanize and Build
Voting harder isn’t going to cut it. We have to build. The existing system will collapse. It’s not a matter of if, but when. When that happens we need to have Christian infrastructure in place to fill the power vacuum. The Amish have had it right this entire time. Their communities are growing and thriving. They will continue to do well. We must become a form of neoamish, building sovereign communities and families away from Babylon. Technology is okay and a good tool. It’s something we can use to our advantage to communicate, build, and engage in commerce with one another.

We are the new pilgrims. We must move to deep red states, push them further right, build, and secure a future for our families. Forget politics at the national level. That rigged game is over. Focus on state and local elections, not what is going on in DC.

Conservatism has failed. It has been trying to conserve a country and a culture that is never coming back and has long been gone. The future of the West depends on those of us who are going to build. Build our own infrastructure, our own families, our own communities, our own parallel economy, and our own strongholds of deep red states. We’ll build a wall around the borders of those states if that’s what it comes to. We need to accept exile from Babylon and get to work.

Americans appear to have lost all touch with the independent pioneer spirit, resolve, and flint-eyed personal grit that made this country great to begin with. Some of us had it stolen from them by main force, while some willingly abandoned it to lapse into lotus-eating, preferring instead to become indolent, pampered brats without the inner steel to defend all that is rightfully theirs: liberty, prosperity, and the pursuit of happiness, in the sense of the words our Founders meant by them. That precious, golden heritage can never be restored to us unless we roll up our sleeves and restore it ourdamnedselves.

Another silver lining

This time, I am NOT being sarcastic about it for a change.

Midterm Voters Rewarded Elected Officials Who Stood Up To Covid Tyrants
Notable governors who fought to keep their states open and senators who pushed to hold Covid bureaucrats accountable were rewarded Tuesday.

Despite Democrats’ attempts to backpedal their Covid shutdowns and fearmongering, the American people haven’t forgotten their radical abuses of power (as evidenced by how close New Yorkers came to electing a Republican governor after the Covid-era malfeasance of the state’s Democrat leaders). But voters also haven’t forgotten who pushed back against the insanity.

From governors who fought to keep their state economies open to senators who pushed to hold Covid bureaucrats accountable, many major figures who stood up to Covid tyrants were rewarded by their constituents at the ballot box on Tuesday.

Follows, the list, along with a brief summary of their actions in opposition to the Plandemic panic: Rand Paul, Ron Johnson, Eric Schmitt, DeSantis, Noem. Don’t know how much of a role their resistance to the general bovine stampede might (or might not) have played in their election/reelection wins this week, but no matter. Good on ’em, each and every one, just the same.

I do remember commending Noem specifically at the time for her principled demurral, flatly stating that as governor she simply did not have the authority to shut down businesses and institute across-the-board lockdowns. She displayed a keenly-honed Constitutional awareness that is all too rare in America’s political class today, whatever perceived missteps she may have made later on other issues.
