Foreboding time

Quoth Senile Gropey Joe: “…Biden’s statement noted that the ‘dire jobs report’ offered only a snapshot of the situation in November, ‘before the surge in COVID cases and deaths in December as we head into a dark winter.‘ He was right about that, although as is his clueless wont he hasn’t the vaguest notion why.

Many people talk of a foreboding sense. A sense that something is very close to erupting on the surface. I believe, and have said for months, the eruption will come as a result of overreach by control authority in reference to COVID dictates. We are very close.

The power of government comes from the people; or as we say in the U.S. “from the consent of the governed.” When the people lead, the politicians are forced to follow.

Without implied consent the municipal or state government has no power. None.

As a result, the nonsense ends when the majority of We The People no longer give our consent.

How do We The People retract our consent? We simply refuse to comply.

When the majority of people simply refuse to comply with unilateral dictates, and laugh in the faces of those who attempt to enforce them, the government no longer has power.

If one person refuses to comply, the government or control authority can, and likely will, intervene. However, if tens of thousands rebuke these unconstitutional decrees, there isn’t a damn thing govt can  do to stop it… and they know it. A non-compliant snowball becomes an unstoppable freedom avalanche.

If one restaurant and/or bar opens, the state can target the owner. But if every bar and restaurant in town opens; and if everyone ignores and dispatches the silly dictates of the local, regional or state officials; there isn’t a damned thing they can do about it.

The power of the local, regional or state authority comes from the expressed consent of the people. As soon as the majority of people in that municipality deny that consent, those officials and state authoritarians lose all of their power.

Yes, it really is that simple.

Well, maybe. It’s far more likely that, rather than sit back and watch their stolen power evaporate, our illegitimate authorities will double down on harrassing, fining, and locking up as many as they possibly can. The silver lining, though, is that—should We The People go on “bitterly clinging” to our righteous defiance, even double down ourselves—THAT will be what signals the onset of the Power’s true death throes, and this nightmare regime will begin to totter and fall at last.

I’ve debated with I don’t even know how many folks, both online and in meatspace, who maintained over these last months that if we could all just make it to Election Day, then all this lockdown/urban rioting/Leftard lunacy crap would finally be over and done with. ‘Fraid not, folks. Election Day was merely the beginning. The struggle is NOW; it is ongoing, and it will be neither quickly nor easily won. As Bill Murray so memorably said, in one of the greatest movies ever:

Freedom is never really secure, being always under attack from its enemies on one front or another. The fight for it is eternal…which is why Team Liberty’s vigilance must be too.

The “unity” charade

Never. Nope. Nyet.

The strongest argument for Biden’s victory is not the vote tally. It is the monolithic narrative, pumped up like one of those inflatable play castles at a child’s birthday party. With every passing day, that narrative becomes more boisterous, more assertive, more uncompromising. It is a collective primal scream, emitted with eyes shut and ears plugged.

There is a problem for the narrative, however. Or more to the point, there are 73 million problems. A major concession in the Biden-won-give-it-up-narrative is revealed by the hawkers of the “Unity Now” meme. Let us all come together as one nation, under Joe, and reassert the American normality that has been so sorely missing under the despotic reign of Donald Trump.

No. No, that’s not going to fly, and not only because of the snarling viciousness that attended Donald Trump and his entire administration from the moment he was elected until now. Granted, Democrats are masters of hypocrisy. I will give them that. Brazenness is part of the formula. They are utterly unembarrassed by double standards. Indeed, they glory in them.

On November 12, Kamala Harris was happy to emit this saccharine Tweet:

Hope.
Unity.
Decency.
Truth.
These are the ideals that will guide a [Biden–Harris] administration.

An alert commentator provided some illuminating historical context from the Left’s latest how-to manual, George Orwell’s Nineteen-Eighty-Four:

Winston turned a switch and the voice sank somewhat, though the words were still distinguishable. The instrument (the telescreen, it was called) could be dimmed, but there was no way of shutting it off completely…

HOPE
UNITY
DECENCY
EMPATHY
TRUTH
EXPERTS
SCIENCE

The inclusion of “Science” is especially nice.

Gee, Harris-Biden got caught plagiarizing Orwell. Coincidence? Not on your life, bub. But revealing though that lapse is, they have an even bigger problem than just that.

But glaring hypocrisy is not the only reason that the narrative’s call for unity is failing. There is also its essential fragility. It is loud. It is seamless. It is asserted by all the best and most beautiful people, the really smart ones with fancy degrees, the right attitudes, the impressive ZIP codes. But it is also like an elaborate barque in high winds and choppy seas on a leeward course off a rocky coast.

That coast is the anti-narrative, otherwise known as reality.

The really hard and jagged part of the impinging reality, the “impervious horrors of leeward shore,” is the actual vote tally in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

Huge anomalies have been alleged in all of those key states. With an assist from various professionals, I’ve summarized some of them in various columns, here, for example, here and here.

Inquiring minds want to know, how is it possible that voter turnout in just those key cities in just those key states was so high: often 90 percent or more? How is it possible that Joe Biden, who barely campaigned, garnered more votes in just those spots than even Barack Obama had done? How is it possible that, as everyone was getting tucked into bed on the night of November 3, Donald Trump had notable leads in almost all of those states and then, suddenly, all at once, in the wee hours, floods of votes poured in and—wouldn’t you know it—they were overwhelmingly, sometimes exclusively, for Biden? And what about those voting machines from Dominion: are we confident that they are secure?

Aristotle tells us that “Probable impossibilities are to be preferred to improbable possibilities.” Do we have instruments capacious enough to measure the improbabilities that attend Joe Biden’s performance in these key states?

I still don’t expect the fraudulent election “result” to be reversed, no matter how ironclad and voluminous the proof of its theft. As for hasty, self-serving demands for “unity,” that ain’t gonna happen either, no matter which way this thing goes. Why on Earth should it? Whether or not election-rigging is established beyond any credible denial, one fact will remain: the Democrat-Socialists made the most audacious, most in-your-face, most brazen attempt to steal an election in American history. Which, for them, is really saying something.

“Unity” with such corrupt brigands? What the hell FOR? To what end?

Sorry, no sale. Usurper Joe Biden—one of the most corrupt, dishonest, and just plain sleazy political reptiles ever to befoul the nation’s capitol—will never enjoy a moment’s respect, courtesy, or acknowledgement from me. He will NEVER be my President. I will never, EVER refer to him in any way that even backhandedly implies that I consider him to be such. Any government he attempts to “lead” has forfeited, in advance, every claim to legitimacy or loyalty.

They dare to poke out their forked tongues and speak of unity. What they really mean by it is surrender. What they expect is obedience; what they intend is subjugation. Let them get resistance instead—REAL resistance, STIFF resistance, resistance with TEETH. Resistance at every level, in every place, at every turn. Let the hand of every Real American be turned against them in unyielding opposition. Relentlessly, ruthlessly. Without surcease, mercy, or remorse.

Let them reap the harvest they have sown, and suffer its bitterness on their tongues forever and ever.

Blue Falcon squawks

Mad Dog needs a muzzle.

James Mattis: Joe Biden Must Eliminate ‘America First’ from U.S. Foreign Policy
Former Secretary of Defense James Mattis declared in an article in Foreign Affairs on Monday that the “America First” foreign policy had damaged national security, and called on Joe Biden to “eliminate ‘America first’” from U.S. strategy.

Mattis resigned in December 2018, citing policy disagreements with the president, who had just ordered a troop drawdown in Syria. In his resignation letter, Mattis said that the U.S. needed to do more to show “respect” to American allies.

In October 2018, then-Secretary Mattis gave a speech in which he said that “when we talk about America first, it’s not America alone.”

Who the fuck ever said that it was, or had to be, you disingenuous Deep State dipshit? But there’s a minor detail the scruple-bereft prick scrupulously neglected to mention, and would probably prefer we all ignore.

In an online column denouncing President Trump’s “America First” policy that includes measures regarding Beijing, ex-Defense Secretary James Mattis did not disclose his affiliation with an organization that fosters international business deals with communist China.

As coauthor with three other writers in a Nov. 23 Foreign Affairs column, Mattis did not mention that he works for the The Cohen Group consulting firm. Nor did he challenge China’s tough talk against U.S. policies regarding Taiwan, nor the strict economic retaliation Beijing levied against Australia.

The Cohen Group is run by another former Defense Secretary. William Cohen, who has been involved with China since 1978, when he went there to meet with Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping, according to the organization.

Mattis joined The Cohen Group in 2019 as a senior counselor.

So, replace “America first” with “China first” then, eh, Mad Dog? Herschel says:

Oh. I see. Maybe this has something to do with being a sell-out and enemy of the state?

You’re a wee mite off there, my friend. Mattis and “people” like him are by no means enemies of the state. They ARE The State. Which is the whole problem, probably one of our biggest. Herschel’s commentary is minimal, which is of course fine and all. Right away, though, commenter Georgiaboy61 seizes the opportunity to take that ball and run with it, at length.

The decades-long slog to become an officer of flag/general rank selects against the very qualities we are supposed to prize most in our senior military leaders.

Even the good ones find swimming against the tide of group-think, political-correctness, and expediency hard going, and many eventually leave the services prematurely, or find themselves slowly being co-opted into the system, or shunted aside into dead-end assignments without a future.

This struggle to remain true to one’s values while building a career in uniform has always been challenging, but since the spread of Cultural Marxism across American society and into its institutions – including the armed forces – a half century ago, it has become nothing less than a nightmare for traditional Americans.

It has become holy writ in the armed forces – especially to anyone who desires to make a career as a senior enlisted man or officer – that anyone not “on board” with women in combat, diversity, affirmative action, multiculturalism and all the rest of it – that it is a career-ender to transgress against these sacred totems of P.C. Get with the program or get out. It’s been this way since the Tail Hook scandal back in the early1990s, and the trend has only accelerated since then.

Also wrapped up in that particular package is that one must not question the core tenets of interventionism, neo-conservativism/neo-liberalism, globalism and internationalism, nor the institutions and policies thereof – the UN, NATO, the World Bank, IMF, etc. Foreign policy realism, or enlightened national self interest – are dead-and-gone as viable alternatives.

There’s plenty more, of which you should definitely read the all (sorry, no direct comment links provided at the Captain’s joint, but well worth the scroll). Fair Use says I should probably lay off the excerpting right there, but no way can I resist throwing this in as well.

It must always be borne in mind that the higher one rises in the armed forces, either as an officer or senior NCO, the more political it becomes. And no one in the armed forces may be promoted to flag/general officer rank without the “advice and consent” of Congress. Meaning that becoming a general is inherently political, and that if buttering up Congressmen and Senators isn’t to your liking, you probably won’t get past light bird or colonel, no matter how good the rest of your package is.

The late Colonel John Boyd, USAF, a maverick and independent thinker (a true one, not a fake like John McCain), one of our nation’s finest military officers and then one of our finest military theorists and thinkers, was famous as “The Ghetto Colonel” and before that, as the “Mad Major,” or simply as “Genghis John” for his take-no-prisoners approach to his work, life and especially for his treatment of phonies and fakes of all kinds, whom he despised regardless of rank.

Boyd was famous for taking aside young officers with stars in their futures, and sitting them down for a blunt face-to-face talk which started off with something like “Well, tiger, you’re a real blue-flamer and you’re going places…” and ending up with Boyd telling the individual in question, “You’ve reached a fork in the road, you can either be someone, or you can do something – but probably not both.”

What he meant was that if you wanted to perform a real service to the nation, and to your branch and to your colleagues in uniform, you will probably have to forsake reaching high rank, getting rich or becoming widely-known or famous. Getting things done meant stepping on toes, sometimes powerful toes, and ruffling feathers – and if you wanted that, you had to pay the price.

Or, you could take the easy way out and play the games the perfumed princes and courtiers in uniform all played in the Five-Sided-Puzzle-Palace. These are the folks who reap the riches, the rank, the notoriety, and the fame, plus lavish sinecures at Fortune 500 defense firms in retirement.

Boyd refused over his long career to accept anything – compensation, good or service – which even hinted at favoritism, graft, or the like. He and his family lived in a small apartment even as he was promoted into the field grade ranks. Boyd was no respecter of rank when ripping into someone, especially when he thought the target of his ire had behaving stupidly or unethically. He was known to tell generals to their face that they were idiots. Which is probably one reason he made Colonel – O-6 – but not general/flag rank. Boyd was fortunate to get that far; he had made many enemies over his career and they had long memories. Fortunately for him, his work was stellar and he had friends in uniform, too.

The rot and dead wood which infest the senior ranks of the officer corps at present is appalling, but also highly typical of long periods of peace or relative peace. Genuine war-fighters, the kinds of generals and admirals who win battles and win wars, make official Washington nervous and upset the routine functioning of the system. Bureaucrats-in-uniform, or what the late Colonel David Hackworth called “perfumed princes,” are much-preferred in the usual places and by the usual suspects.

All of this, along with Bill Buppert’s spot-on follow-up, jibes perfectly with what my cousin Reggie (career Navy jet-jock, only scant weeks short of retiring at the rank of Captain when he keeled over dead from a heart attack while driving in to work as Argentina Naval attaché a few years ago; CF lifers may remember his posts here as “Regbo” some years back) always told me. Taken as a whole, it highlights more than just one or two enormous obstacles to ever draining the Swamp and putting this country back on the right track again. Which isn’t just worrisome; it’s downright scary.

As for Mattis, it appears I need to dust off the sparingly used “ex Marine” epithet, previously reserved around here mostly for the despicable John Murtha, and start using it again. You former Devil Dogs out there will know what I mean by it, I’m sure.

Crash and burn

Every time I see the “get woke go broke” shibboleth it annoys the living crap out of me, since to my knowledge there hasn’t been a single “woke” corporation that did anything but go right on thriving in the wake of boycotts, protests, and the like. At worst, they may take a temporary bottom-line hit in the early stages of whatever controversy crops up. But as time passes, tempers cool, attention wanes, and people resume their previous shopping habits, the wayward company or organization always seems to bounce back rather quickly.

Fingers and toes crossed for Faux “News” proving to be the exception.

Fox News is taking action to stave off newfound competition from Newsmax TV.

Producers on some Fox programs have been told to monitor Newsmax’s guest bookings and throw some sand in Newsmax’s gears by encouraging guests who appear on both channels to stop saying yes to the upstart.

According to Fox sources, producers were told to avoid some regular guests if they kept showing up on Newsmax after being encouraged to stop. Management’s goal: to remind guests who’s boss in the right-wing media world.

The cautionary note, from Ace.

CNN link. I wouldn’t click. This article is by CNN’s Chief Deplatforming Officer Tater, with additional reporting by their Senior Deplatforming Associate Oliver Darcy. It claims that all of Newsmax’s gains are due to “conspiracy theories,” because, of course.

Anything Tater doesn’t like is a “conspiracy theory.”

Except Russia Collusion, of course!

Fox News denies this. But they’re lying.

Of course they are. Despite the previous “get woke go broke” record of futility, though, there could be real hope for a spectacular augering-in this time around. I mean, think about it: does anybody really NEED another CNNBCBABPBS?

Tally me banana (republics)

Not here? Not anymore.

The irony of an oligarchy consisting of some of the most powerful men and women in the country, and their corporations and government institutions consolidating power under the guise of fighting for the oppressed has plenty of historical precedents. All of these precedents are bad.

The oligarchy claims that contrary views, which it labels “disinformation” pose a unique threat to “democracy”.The unique threat isn’t posed by disinformation, disagreeable speech, or lies, a concept as old as mankind, but by the usurpation of political power by an unelected oligarchy.

Between 2016 and 2020, elections have been undermined, voters have been disenfranchised, and the First Amendment has been dispensed with in response to various emergencies, from President Trump’s victory to the pandemic by the private-public alliance of the oligarchy.

Governors responded to the pandemic by usurping the power of legislatures and other elected officials, such as the secretary of state in Nevada, to unilaterally ban public gatherings, outlaw protests, enter private residences, and fundamentally change how elections are conducted.

They also worked with tech companies to suppress political protests against their activities.

Tech companies, which command the marketplace of ideas, suppressed political scandals involving Biden, and amplified scandals involving President Trump. The administrative state and elements of the judiciary worked to undermine President Trump, obstruct his policies, and block his actions on any available pretext in a political coup of unprecedented scope and scale.

And, if that weren’t enough, the violent mobs of the Black Lives Matter racist movement, backed by corporate money and massive assistance from foundations like the Ford Foundation, terrorized entire cities and suburbs while mobilizing support for Democrats and their agenda.

The 2020 election occurred under this state of emergency, imposed not by President Trump, but by a coalition of Democrat officials, media propagandists, and tech companies with ugly results.

Even beyond the outrageous voter fraud that marked this election, there could be no better way to delegitimize a presidential election than through the combination of Democrat abuses of power, violations of civil rights, mass propaganda and censorship, and mob violence.

This is how elections are conducted in Third World countries and now in America.

We have come a long way in twenty years since Bush v. Gore. And now it’s not about hanging chads or the details of the disputed elements. It’s that no one trusts elections anymore.

Despite the outraged disdain with which the media met Republican challenges to the election, there is nothing that Republicans have alleged about the election that Democrats did not allege about the previous elections that they lost. The same narratives about voting machine hacking, illegitimately counted, marked, and destroyed ballots, and even calls for electors to reject state results were there and will be there again. But only Democrats are allowed to make them.

Because only Democrats are allowed to wield power. And since only Democrats are allowed to wield power, any election they win is legitimate and any election that they lose is illegitimate.

But the problem with breaking the system to gain power is that the system stays broken.

Oh, I don’t believe the system is broken, necessarily. Looks more to me like it’s working exactly as they intended it to.

I’d love to see Trump start up a second party. The one-party system we have now just ain’t cutting it.

Call to arms update! TL on The Eighty Million. Has a right nice ring to it, wouldn’t you say?

This is a choice we make as individuals and groups. I believe upwards of 80 million people voted for Donald Trump and that only through nefarious means has this truth been denied and obfuscated in the media. If the purpose were to discover the truth many more media outlets would be curious as to the fraud that has taken place, but they are not. So, they are part of the coup. This should not be hard to understand since they were part of the first coup against America, because it is not Donald Trump that has been cheated, it is the 80 million who voted for him who have been cheated, in 2016 and throughout his first term culminating in 2020.

As Donald Trump so famously understood, the forces of communism aren’t after him, they are after the US and he stands in the way. But now it is time for the 80 million to stand as one and deny the coup. It is within our power to take back what was first stolen in 2016, when the coup first began. None of the conspirators have faced sanction, none have gone to jail, or faced prosecution. Justice delayed is justice denied. But, it is within our power to refuse to accept the coup and bring those guilty of conspiracy against the United States and the republic both through the initial attempt in 2016 and those who have perpetrated the vote fraud of 2020.

What should be apparent to all by now is that the corruption within the offices of governors and secretaries of state across the nation is something that must be dealt with in a complete way. They have been corrupted by power and money, their elections assured through corruption and owing not to the people, that they continually ignore and defame, but through fraud and it is this fraud and its engineers that have secured their loyalty. The pandemic might be the excuse, but their actions have revealed the contempt they have for their constituents and citizens, reducing them to poverty and degradation at the whim of foreign actors and internal traitors.

The pandemic has given us a look at their blackened souls that thirst for power and power alone. We need to take them at their professions of unlimited power and revoke it. This will not be done through elections. That is something only possible where honor and a belief in the sanctity of the republic is present. They no longer believe in it. They are enemies of the republic, for they have contempt for the people and of the vote.

So here we are, the 80 million who have been conned, beaten and subjected to irrational rules and when criminality has been exposed by us, it has been ignored and we have been told to stand down, to behave, to accept communism for all of the many fruits it offers; though history tells a much different tale. We know better. We are not fools. We have tried to play by the rules and have had the rules turned against our peaceful natures. The police, who have been wholly supported by those who believe in the republic have largely turned against us. While they protect Antifa and BLM, they turn on us. I ask them, with whom do you stand? Us or them?

These are the days when all voices will be heard and loyalties tried. This is no time to offer allegiance to your enemies and hope your allies will understand. One either believes in freedom enough to risk death, or pension, or accept the fate of those who would destroy it. The 80 million know they are the last vestiges of freedom on earth. They are being asked to accept a fraud, to acquiesce to communism, but they cannot. No matter what the flawed election returns, it cannot be allowed to stand. We know the outcome already and anything less is unacceptable.

Freedom across the globe is being threatened. In Denmark, they have fought back, in Germany they are fighting back. Only in America, the land of the free and the home of the brave have we sat silent while our nation has been stolen from beneath our feet. But, it’s not over until we breathe our last. Stand now. Get out into the streets and demand a new election, but be ready to fight when the communists refuse and try to force you to stay home and off the streets. You are 80 million strong, never will you be so united; never will the issues be so clear. Accept your role in American history and provide your children with the blessings of liberty with a remarkable stand against totalitarian rule. You can do it, you have the numbers and the strength and righteousness is on your side. You are the new political organization, The Eighty Million.

Might make a snazzy name for Trump’s new political party.

GOPe circular firing squad gathers

Looks like some of them ARE getting right back to business as usual.

For a good long while, many Republicans believed Attorney General William Barr and U.S. Attorney John Durham would produce a slew of indictments for the bad actors of the Russia probe. A bushel of bad news always sat just around the corner for James Comey, James Clapper, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, and many others.

Judgement day, however, kept getting postponed. The trove of sealed indictments always seemed to slide just beyond arm’s reach. In the meantime, the Republican Party went P. T. Barnum on Bill Barr, fundraising on the promise of revenge against a whole host of ne’er-do-wells.

But after a year-and-a-half of imminent indictments, and a lot of fundraising, it became more than evident that the Barr-Dunham probe which provided so much chum for right-wing waters was pure grift. The “deep state” goon squad would never see the inside of a prison cell.

Not because they were exonerated, or blameless. Nor was it because a good case against them wasn’t made, or makeable. It was because the fix was in. That hardly serves as an affirmation of the integrity of the system. Quite the opposite, actually.

Then another investigation came along. One that sparked the hopes of millions of Trump supporters still reeling from an election night gone wrong, one that started off just as promising as the Barr-Durham probe.

Amid a series of irregularities and apparent voter fraud, Sidney Powell, a former federal prosecutor and a member of Trump’s legal team for the election, leaped onto the scene, guns blazing. Just like Barr.

Bear with me just a bit further, gang; he’s about to go way wrong, you’ll see.

The issue with Powell was never that fraud didn’t occur or that she was making it up out of whole cloth, but that her claims are so extraordinary that they would threaten to discredit the case for real fraud if they turned out to be exaggerated or in any way untrue. There are many compelling examples of irregularities involving mail-in ballots, ejected poll observers, and more that are worthy of serious investigating.

But Powell has set the bar so incredibly high above those things now. This is not to say that there is not or could not be some basic truth to some of her claims, but that it is dangerous to build the case for fraud entirely on one person’s shoulders. As a result, “belief” in Powell has become a kind of purity test for some Trump supporters, creating internecine conflicts at the drop of a hat. It’s also preventing the Trump movement from performing any kind of introspection on what might have been some of the campaign’s mistakes.

Codswallop. If fraud was committed—and it couldn’t be more apparent that it was, with an abundance of credible evidence confirming it—then “introspection” and “mistakes” aren’t relevant.

If Powell’s claims are all true, then there would be no need to consider that perhaps it was a mistake to court rather than tackle the corporate and tech forces now garroting Trump’s last-ditch efforts. If Powell is right, there is no reason to criticize the Trump campaign’s racial-spoils pandering, its failure to keep signature platform promises, or its critical personnel problems. Because the only problem will have been, according to her, that as many as 10 million fraudulent votes and up to 7 million votes were switched from Trump to Biden. The unexpected side effect of all this is an unremittingly uncritical movement that will circle the wagons to defend the most poisonous pills in the White House and viciously attack those who are otherwise allies. Powell’s moment in the limelight is reminding us of the dangers of personality cults.

“Personality cults”? Well, okay then.

Now, as the recent spate of Powell skeptics or debunkers go, the above is actually mild stuff. This guy is more even-handed and polite about it than many others have been, let’s just concede that right up front. Even so, it still gripes me, although possibly not for the reasons you might assume. Let’s start with this.

I don’t have that evidence, but the fact that Sidney Powell claims she does is enough to convince me. This is a woman who gave up years of income she could have earned in her profitable practice to write, print, and promote a book no publisher would touch. Its charges were too explosive, I imagine.

Its targets, like Andrew Weissman (the protege of FBI director Christopher Wray) wield too much power. Tellingly, none of the people Powell exposed in Licensed to Lie have dared to sue her for defamation or libel. She put herself out there as a target for such a suit by writing the book—with no publishing house’s attorneys on board to defend her. But no one did, I’m sure because her charges were absolutely truthful.

Non-partisan legal expert Jonathan Turley is one of the few reliable commentators left out there. He observed after watching the press conference that Powell and the rest of the president’s team took a similar risk today. They accused a massive corporation, Dominion, with links to friendly billionaires like Soros and many foreign governments, of felonies. Of colluding with corrupt election officials to steal the White House.

Given the death threats to election officials in Michigan, and the doxing of their children, for refusing to certify a corrupt election, I’d say Ms. Powell is risking a lot more than money.

But there Sidney stood fearlessly on television, her voice quavering a little at the enormity of the evil she has helped to uncover. Meanwhile the Vichy-conservatives over at National Review and other “squish” venues sniped at her, and at Rudolph Giuliani, who faced down the hitmen of the New York Mafia, then broke its back. One called the Trump team “unhinged,” and sniffed at its lack of “dignity.”

If you think your country’s elections are being stolen, and your main concern is for keeping your “dignity,” then I don’t want you next to me in a foxhole. You’ll switch sides if the enemy offers a chocolate bar, and a chance to save your skin.

Getting closer, but still not quite there yet. More, and closer still:

Imagine that fairly high-ranking government officials, former mayors and prosecutors, hold a press conference accusing the Joint Chiefs of Staff of planning to shoot down an American airliner. They say the plan is to blame China, Russia, or Cuba.

Immediately they are depicted as nuttier than a Christmas fruitcake. Legacy media paints them as fabulists looking for book deals. Psychologists speculate on their sanity. Social media doubles down on purges. It’s almost like there was a Zoom call to coordinate it all.

Undaunted, the self-described whistleblowers offer even bolder claims in interviews. They say the Joint Chiefs will set off bombs in Washington, D.C. and other U.S. cities. Canada and U.S. bases abroad will be attacked. It’s described as a “very well-funded” operation with CIA involvement.

There are mentions of original documents and check stubs proving payoffs. We’re told to expect more details by the end of this week.

Americans split into factions. The conspiratorial say this is only the beginning and Jeff Bezos and the Post Office and Bill Gates are in on it. MSNBC veers between ignoring the claims and screeching about Nazis. The rival political party starts muttering about criminal charges for treason. Fans of Enemy of the StateWag the Dog, or Three Days of the Condor keep an open mind. Wasn’t Burt Lancaster that Joint Chiefs guy in Seven Days in May who tried a coup?

This is a little like the situation we find ourselves in when evaluating claims of a massive operation to steal the election for Joe Biden.

If we were told that boxes of ballots for Biden were carted into Philadelphia inner-city precincts at 3 a.m., that would be easy to believe. Or if we were told that Republican observers were prevented from observing and that windows are boarded up in Detroit. We’ve seen the videos despite our increasingly irate Silicon Valley overseers threatening us with the lash.

But attorneys Sidney Powell and Lin Wood are not stopping there. They say perhaps 10 million fake votes were generated. They argue that the rot is global. In an interview two days ago, Powell said there was “foreign interference in our election” including from “China, Iran, Serbia, Lichtenstein.” Powell said “the CIA, I’m sure, has a hand in it.” She said to expect a lawsuit by the end of this week.

These allegations raise the stakes. They transform suspicions of Chicago-style fraud into an existential national crisis. If their claims about national-scale computerized fraud are true, democracy in the republic is over. The fix is in. Elections are a sham. Our ruling elite select the winner, and complainers get the camps.

Yep, almost there now. JJ brings us onto the porch and rings the bell:

If anyone doubts that there is not a Globalist plot to take America down, especially in light of what we and this President have experienced these past four to 20 years and really since the end of the Second World War, then please describe the bumps on your sigmoid as you have your head up your ass. If Sidney Powell is guilty of anything, it’s perhaps fighting the right battle but at the wrong time. That is unless she really does have the Kraken of all evidence ready to be released. I hope she does. In any case, my anger is not at her, nor at Rudy Giuliani, Jenna Ellis or anyone else on the Trump Team. My incandescent rage that can never be slaked is at the traitors and the Enemy for snuffing out the last vestige of this republic and for those allegedly on our side who are their willing accomplices. Worst of the bunch are the state legislators and other GOP politicians in the six states that know firsthand that the Enemy stole their elections and should be convening right now to assign their electors to Trump. There is no excuse for that, threats of violence or not. This is a war now, and we are this close to an open shooting war, and considering the firebombing of several dozen cities over the past six months, arguably we’re at that stage already.

Whatever happens with Sidney Powell’s case, she is the very last person I am ever going to attack. For me, her motivations, if not perhaps (as remains to be seen) her strategy, are beyond reproach. Until you (the royal you) show me the proof – as you have demanded of her – that she is anything but a great patriot, I’m with her all the way. Because we are going to need an army of Sidney Powell’s should worse come to worse.

Dingdingdingdingding! We’re home, everybody!

See, it’s like this: I don’t give a tinker’s dam whether Powell is exaggerating, or grandstanding, or stoking her own ego, or just dead wrong. I don’t care if she’s stretching the truth a mite, if she has some of her details jumbled, or if she’s being misled in some fashion. Honestly, she could be making the whole thing up for all I give a shit. I’ll still stand shoulder to shoulder with her against our common enemy, be he a rabid Lefty loon, a Democrat-Socialist con artist, or a NeverTrumpTard Vichy Republican. I’m on her side no matter what, and Cadaver Joe Biden, Commie Kamala, and every last Enemedia propagandist can all go piss up a rope. Likewise Bill Kristol, Ewan McMuffin, David French, Mitt Romany, and the whole sorry lot of ’em.

The Enemy closes ranks when attacked, no matter what. We, on the other hand, natter and obssess over trivia, personality conflicts, and general persiflage. We bog ourselves down in niggling “debate” as if our very way of life wasn’t on the line here. We respond to direct frontal assault with over-intellectualizing and parlor pedantry. Then we kill our wounded, apologize for our beastly shortcomings, and slink off the field in ignominious retreat.

No Vichy GOPer ever yet found a hill that was worth dying on. For our side, “living to fight another day” always seems to take precedence over kicking the enemy’s ass up between his fucking shoulder blades. Because we’re “better than they are.” Because we must always “take the high road.” Because “that’s not who we are.”

The Enemy is making war. We’re making tea and crumpets. Bottom line:

What Trump, like Caesar, understands is that he can’t back down from this fight, even should he wish to. During his long campaign in Gaul, Caesar made it a point never to retreat; on one occasion when even the famed 10th Legion temporarily broke ranks during a battle, the chagrined legionaries asked their commander to decimate their ranks for cowardice. (Caesar refused.)

Trump similarly grasps that to stand down now, even in the face of overwhelming opposition—some of it coming from within his own ranks—would spell an ignominious end to his presidency and demoralize his voting legions. To leave an open question of whether our porous and multifarious systems of voting are easily manipulated and therefore untrustworthy would be to do the nation a great disservice.

As we’ve seen throughout the past four years, appeasement doesn’t work. No matter what the duly elected president of the United States did, there was no satisfying the rabid left and its media lackeys, short of Trump’s expulsion from office, however effected.

And so they mounted one of the strangest counter-campaigns in U.S. political history, rigging their nomination process to spit forth a superannuated, lifelong political hack rushing headlong into his embarrassing dotage and installing as his vice president the dangerous woman they really wanted to head their ticket, but who couldn’t garner any support during the primaries. It’s a breathtakingly cynical ploy, and a stain on American political history should it succeed.

So please, Mr. President, fight all the way to the end. Until these cases get to court—the big one, located right behind the Capitol—and your augments can be heard over the talking heads and the chattering classes, go on national television and explain to the American people what the stakes really are: not your political survival, but the survival of the Republic itself under a Constitution the left increasingly and openly despises.

Just so. Oh, and about that whackadoo conspiracy theory Normal American mentioned, wherein the JCOS plotted to down an American airliner for their own nefarious purposes? Silly stuff, I know, and it does kinda put Sydney Powell’s reckless, baseless allegations in a somewhat dimmer light. Right?

RIGHT?!?

Back to our whistleblowers’ claims of false flag attacks on an airliner and Washington, D.C. It might sound like a half-baked conspiracy theory.

But it would have been true. In 1962, the Joint Chiefs of Staff proposed shooting down an American civilian airliner, bombing D.C., and other false flag actions. It was called Operation Northwoods. President Kennedy rejected the proposal. He was assassinated the next year.

Then and now, extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. The kraken remains elusive.

Perhaps. But for me, proof no longer matters. I know who the enemy is; I know what he is, what he intends, how he will use the power he’s usurped. I care about one thing now, and one thing alone: annihilating him. I won’t hesitate to employ any and every weapon I can get my hands on—large or small, clean or dirty, fair or unfair, honorable or sneaky—that will help to get that job done. If Sydney Powell is such a weapon then I’m all for her, and straight to hell with all other considerations. If not, I’ll look for another.

“Evidence” and “proof” are NOT synonyms

Codevilla explains.

Now, black letter law.

The Trump campaign are plaintiffs. They have no obligation to prove anything. Nor do they have the power to subpoena things, documents, and persons, nor to compel testimony that might be dispositive regarding the sufficiency of fraud. Nor do they have the right to adjudicate disputes any more than the press has the right or power to do so.

The plaintiff’s only burden is to establish in the minds of persons who are empowered by law to subpoena evidence, compel, testimony, etc. what the semi-sacred words of American law call “probable cause” that fraud may have been committed. These persons are courts, principally federal, as well as state legislatures that possess investigative powers, as well as the U.S. Justice Department. These institutions (other than Justice) are also the only ones that have the right to decide what constitutes sufficient proof of what.

The Trump campaign has spoken in ways that suggest that it can prove fraud. It cannot. Not as a matter of law nor, given its lack of subpoena powers and compulsive power, can it do so as a matter of fact. Giving that impression, it has tended to discourage the persons who should be seized by their duty to follow “probable cause” of fraud—and there is plenty of that.

The Enemedia wretches cawing about the “lack of any evidence” are perfectly aware of the distinction between “evidence” and “proof,” of course. Likewise, they also know full well that Trump’s legal team is under no obligation whatsoever to reveal any part of the probable-cause evidence to them, nor to any other living soul on Earth not directly involved in the investigatory and/or litigation process.

Yes, Tucker too. He was dead wrong when he jumped all over Powell after she repeatedly declined to make her case and present her evidence, in full or in part, for his TV audience. Sorry, Tucker, but you have neither the right nor the weight to make such a demand. By persisting well beyond the point where you should have just backed off and let it go, all you accomplished was to make yourself look like a petty, petulant, over-entitled jackass. Hate to say it, but that’s the long and the short of it.

But while we’re excerpting Codevilla, let’s all follow along as he delves into the underpinnings of the whole damnable 2020 mess, a blatantly stolen election being only the ne plus ultra of this shaggy-ass goatfuck of a year.

For four decades beginning in the mid-1960s, a class of rulers grew in America. They became ever more uniform socially and intellectually, ever more opposed to the rest of Americans, and ever more powerful. This happened as government took upon itself the tasks of eliminating poverty and harmonizing the races, and as it controlled ever greater shares of the national income.

Increasingly, their powers were based on claims of expertise coming from the universities. These underwent a fourfold increase in size (from 9 percent of Americans with four-year degrees in 1965 to 36 percent in 2015). Their connection with government conferred both wealth and additional prestige. Few paid attention to President Eisenhower’s warning about the connection between government and academic elites.

Elsewhere, I have discussed how inherently pregnant with peril the existence of such a class was for constitutional life. Suffice it to say, by the beginning of the Obama Administration in 2009, the rest of Americans had sensed that American public life had ceased to revolve around the struggle between Democrats and Republicans, and was more between those who lived by the ruling class’ privileges, and those who did not—between the “ins” and the “outs,” between the ruling class and what had been known in English history as the country class.

During the Obama years, the American country class’ budding resistance spurred the ruling class further to become conscious of itself, to increase its own privileges, its cohesion, and above all its contempt for and demands on those below them. Political correctness ceased to be bemusing for the country class and came to be seen as the threat to freedom that it is. Corporate America became indistinguishable from government in its demands for compliance. That is why the 2016 presidential primaries and election revealed a substantial anti-ruling class majority among Americans, though it was split between opposite ends of the political spectrum.

In short, during the Obama years the ruling class was becoming an oligarchy that ruled by exercising the powers of government and of incumbency in corporations as well as all manner of social institutions. Private institutions, allied with government and inspired by government-supported universities, increasingly exercised arbitrary powers.

But by November 2016 this oligarchy had yet to articulate itself into something capable of acting for a common purpose. That is why the 2016 election may prove to have been the last more-or-less bona fide free election in America’s history.

Count on it. The one and only amusement Real Americans can savor from the situation, bitter though it is: the Gentleman Losers of the GOPe seem to truly believe that, now that the horrible Orange Man will soon be disposed of, we can all get back to business as usual straightaway, just like it was back in the good old Before Times. Gee, too bad for them that Codevilla is perfectly correct about 2016 being the last relatively free election this country will have, until/unless the rotten and illegitimate FederalGovCo is toppled and replaced with something entirely else.

The Democrat-Socialist crime cartel is now large and in charge, and they aim to keep it that way too. So can anyone really be so obtuse as to imagine that, having successfully swindled their way back into absolute power, they’ll balk at any conceivable skullduggery to do it over and over again from now on? Because what, they’re just too nice, too morally upright, too honorable to stoop to such chicanery more than just this one time?

It is to laugh. Say it with me: They will not stop. They will have to BE stopped. Until such time as we muster the yarbles to do it, we’re all in for a rough, rough ride, folks.

Free helicopter rides for Commies

Normal American begs to differ with my “Amerizuela” post from last week, offering an alternative metaphor of his own.

Portland’s descent into blue-haired, gender-confused madness is something new in America. The city’s criminal justice system tolerates vandalism and assaults by communist thugs, while punishing normal Americans who dare to protect themselves.

Street commie antics in Washington, D.C. last weekend suggest this political rot is spreading. If we give anti-American Portlandesque district attorneys a bit more time, the scoundrels may turn a blind eye to more violent crimes as well. The arsonists are practicing.

Chile provides an example of how this could go. In the early 1970s, under the Marxist president Salvador Allende, Chile’s criminal justice system began ignoring crimes committed by commie street thugs.

“There were repeated violations of property rights in the form of ‘takeovers’ (illegal occupations) of rural, urban, and industrial properties,” says an exhaustive 1991 report commissioned by a later president of Chile. “In most of these cases the owners received no help in recovering their ownership nor were the perpetrators punished.” Police “found themselves administratively blocked from acting during the ‘takeovers.’”

Seattle’s small businesses who sued the city over the CHAZ/CHOP takeover know how this works. Democrat elites encouraged pinkos, rapists, and various malcontents to found their People’s Republic, at least until the rabble showed up at the mayor’s home. Then the malodorous “autonomous zone” got broken up and, one hopes, thoroughly hosed down.

The report on Chile’s troubles, known as the Rettig Report, says normal Chileans realized the Marxist government “was not protecting their rights and that when these rights were violated they could not find support in the police, the judiciary, the General Comptroller’s Office, and so forth.” As a result, “they concluded that the only defense was self-defense.”

Violence increased. There were assaults, kidnappings, and worse. “The murder of a MIR student by a Communist student on the campus of the University of Concepción was publicly declared to be a political problem rather than a criminal one and in fact no sanction was applied.” The commies expected to get away with their crimes.

Chilean journalists labored diligently to make things worse. They “went to incredible lengths to destroy the reputations of their adversaries.” Their “political enemies were being presented as contemptible” and “on a number of occasions there were open calls” for mass violence and murder.

Fortunately the U.S. is a more civilized place. We are fortunate not to have increasingly unhinged journalists spending their time threatening Trump supporters, labeling them “maggots,” and calling them “white supremacists.” If our media betters began to demonize half the country, there’s no telling how that could end.

Perhaps not. But I could come up with a suggestion or three easily enough, I think.

Be sure to read the rest of it. I went on from here to check around his joint a bit further, and it took no time at all to realize that the boy more than merited a spot in Ye Olde Blogrolle here. And so I have proceeded. Thanks for the head’s up there, NA, and keep up the good work.

“Steal this election, and it’s war”

Our pal Aesop straight up, no chaser.

Steal this election, and it’s war.

War to the knife, knife to the hilt, then gouging eyes and biting off ears.

There won’t be any mythical “unity” with people who’ve called for our shaming, rounding up, re-education, and our deaths. Nor any  “let’s-let-bygones-be-bygones” bullshit. There isn’t going to be any kowtowing to a horrendously corrupt process that even let anyone get this close to pulling it off, as though the Marquess of Queensbury Rules would remain in full effect, just because someone got away with it.

We aren’t gong to regroup, and hope the Senate, or SCOTUS, or the fucking Tooth Fairy and Easter Bunny, come to our rescue to keep frothing communists from enacting the Soviet/Cuban/Venezuelan Worker’s Paradise they’ve been salivating over for 80 years.

The minute someone violates democracy, and all due process, the social contract is broken, the Rule of Law is out the window, and any and all allegiance anyone owed or might claim from us to the former republic is null and void, in perpetuity.

Because from that moment forward, that republic has died, and ceases to exist.

I henceforth owe it nothing.

Not nostalgia, not love, not treasure, not true faith nor allegiance, because the party to whom all that was owed is no longer extant.

I will agitate, protest, strike, undermine, monkeywrench, sabotage, and if necessary, kill people and break things to destroy whatever hologram of the former republic anyone tries to prop up, and I won’t rest at that until I’m either dead, or I win.

We’re not going to hope for miraculous salvation, we’re going to shoot m#####f#####s in the face. Those are the stakes, and you said you wanted to play for blood. Game on, girl scouts.

A-fucking-men, from beginning to end. Just for the record, shitlibs: no, he is NOT kidding about this. None of us are. This is as serious as it gets. Because we all know how this story goes…and how it ends.

Historically, we know what has happened when there is conflict between a traditional society and a progressive socialist movement that has (or is in the process of gaining) the reigns of power in government.

We know what happens. It is a predictable, and well understood process. It is well documented.

You will not know you are in danger until it is too late.

You will not know.

When the new progressive socialist government takes control, one of the first things that they do is hunt down and slaughter their opposition. Historically, that has been the conservative and traditional elements of the society. I am sorry to say this, but this is the historical truth.

It doesn’t take a brain surgeon or rocket scientist to figure this out. All you need to do is read one or two history books. Nothing being said now should be any shock to anyone even remotely versed in history. It’s a very well established progression of history.

Every progressive liberal socialist movement eventually goes full-on Pol Pot.

What should be a shock is that the United States is destined to be one such nation. And you, dear boys and girls, are just about ready to be placed smack dab in ground zero for conflict. It will not be comfortable. It will not be pleasant. And, there will be those who will absolutely refuse to believe that it is happening.

I am not going to rehash history. You should know this. The only thing that I must underline is that YOU are not immune from the steam-roller of historical events. They will occur whether you want them to or not.

The question now is, have Americans learned the lessons of history? Enough of them, at any rate, to prevent it from being repeated here and now?

Prisonbound

May this scumbucket be only the first of many.

A political director for the Joe Biden campaign has been arrested for electoral fraud.

The Democrat Director of Texas state political strategy for the Joe Biden Presidential campaign has been arrested for electoral fraud.

Democratic Party operative Dallas Jones was formally accused of helping to run an illegal ballot harvesting operation in the state of Texas on behalf of the Joe Biden campaign during this contested Presidential election.

According to the National File, two investigators, including a former FBI agent and former police officer, testified under oath that they have Democratic Party internal documentation, as well as video evidence and witnesses, for their investigation.

Mind you don’t EVER drop that soap, sweetie. Attached to the post is an affidavit from retired Houston PD captain and private investigator Mark A. Aguirre, which lays out some details:

I am currently involved in an investigation related to a wide-ranging and fraudulent ballot harvesting scheme in Harris County intended to rig the elections in the Houston/Harris County area. This scheme involves voter fraud on a massive scale.

Based on interviews, review of documents, and other information, I have identified the individuals in charge of the ballot harvesting scheme. These individuals include political consultant Dallas Jones, who was recently hired by the Joe Biden for President campaign to oversee their Harris County initiative, District 13 Texas State Senator Borris Miles, who is the handler of Mr. Jones, political consultant Gerald Womack, and Precinct 1 Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis. One of the companies these individuals are using as a front for this operation is AB Canvassing, although there are others that have been identified that we are investigating.

I have in my possession video-taped interviews of witnesses attesting to the aforementioned people having groups of people completing thousands of absentee and mail-in ballots, including completing ballots for deceased individuals; illegally going into nursing homes, with the complicity of the nursing home staff, and filling out and forging the signatures of nursing home residents; signing up homeless individuals to vote using the ballot harvester’s address, then completing the ballot and forging the homeless individual’s signature.

This entire operation is being run by the elite politicians of the Democrat Party in Houston/Harris County.

Because of course it is. And with the blessing and best wishes of the entire national Demonrat cartel, no doubt. I repeat: Who they are. What they do.

One down, God only knows how many to go. Makes a delightful segue into this, I think.

Take every last one of the filthy blaggards DOWN, by God. I mean good and damned hard, too.

“Avoiding death is not living”

Julie Kelly says give ’em the bird.

There’s only one response to anyone suggesting families shouldn’t celebrate Thanksgiving together this year because of COVID-19: Go to hell.

Actually, there IS one other response available for Real Americans who still retain the gumption to countenance using it: SEND the bastards there.

“Encourage guests to avoid singing or shouting, especially indoors. Keep music levels down so people don’t have to shout or speak loudly to be heard.”

That is not a passage from some dystopian novel or a command by a Marxist dictator or a parody in The Onion. It’s guidance posted on the Centers for Disease Control website courtesy of the United States government. Think about that: Some federal bureaucrat, probably a highly credentialed “expert” with a messianic complex, is telling 330 million Americans that they should not sing. In their own homes. So they don’t spread a mostly harmless virus to other people.

It’s beyond laughable, but this isn’t a joke. These people are serious. And they should receive a collective middle finger from the American people.

If there’s any upside to this God-awful year, it’s the revelation that the people in charge are inhumane sociopaths consumed with their own egos and lust for power. The nation—and the world—is being subjected to a destructive pseudoscientific experiment that has failed spectacularly in its stated mission to “stop” COVID-19 while inflicting an economic, educational, and personal toll that never will be fully calculated.

Everyone has suffered but no one has been punished for unleashing this slow-moving catastrophe. To the contrary, the cabal of culpable government leaders are digging in their boot heels to crush the collective spirit of the country. At a time when people need to be with their friends and families the most, a time when the soul-soothing routine of the holidays has never been more necessary, the government’s soulless apparatchiks seek to strip away our last vestiges of joy.

These people are not healthy. They don’t care about you or your child or your elderly parent. They care only about power and control. They should be mocked then ignored. Sadly, however, millions of brainwashed Americans will dutifully comply. Cherished moments will be forsaken without any guarantee they’ll return next holiday season.

With ya one hundred and ten percent there, Jules. Alas, thanks to the panic-ninnies’ hysterical overreaction to the Red Death—and the audacity with which our new overlords so eagerly exploited it for nefarious purposes—all too many Americans proved all too willing to give up essential liberty to purchase a wholly-false security. In perfect accordance with Benjamin Franklin’s unheeded warning, they have now lost both, and deserve neither.

Smoking gun seized

Is Trump about to drop The Big One? First, we have this.

Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., on Friday said conservatives should be wary about glitches and security issues with voting machines, given an apparent sea change in support from President Trump to Joe Biden since election eve.

In an interview on Newsmax TV’s ”Stinchfield,” Nunes said voting machine security is ”the big concern …of all conservatives.”

”They went to bed [on election night]…with Wisconsin, with Michigan, with Pennsylvania and it looks like there’s no way Trump could possibly lose,” Nunes said. ”They wake up and he lost all of them and continues to lose them.

”The…concern is if the [voting] machines aren’t secured,” he said.

Don’t look now, Dev, but it seems that Trump just arranged to “secure” some of ’em but good.

Earlier today Rep. Louie Gohmert told Chris Salcedo on Newsmax that people on the ground in Germany report that Scytl, which hosted  elections data improperly through Spain, was raided by a large US ARMY force and their servers were seized in Frankfurt.

Andrea Widburg at American Thinker earlier reported that Scytl is a Barcelona-based company that provides electronic voting systems worldwide, many of which have proven vulnerable to electronic manipulation.  Scytl has (or had) Soros and Democrat party connections.  Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen’s Vulcan Capital has invested $40 million in Scytl.

Tonight we learned from our source that Bill Gates also owns stock in Scytl.

Tonight we heard more from our source on this raid in Germany.

The US government, once they determined that this Dominion server was involved in switching votes, then the intelligence community began a search for the server and discovered that the server was in Germany. In order to get access to that server and have it available for use in a legal manner they had to have the State Department work in tandem with the Department of Justice. They had to request that the government of Germany cooperate in allowing this seizure of this server.

The appropriate documents required to affect that kind of seizure were put in place, signed off on, and it appears there was also US military support in this operation. The US military was not in the lead. But this helps explain why Esper was fired and Miller and Kash Patel were put in place — so that the military would not interfere with the operation in any way.

By getting ahold of the server they now are going to have the direct evidence of when they were instructed to stop counting. They will also discover who gave the direction to stop counting and who initiated the algorithm that started switching votes. The CIA was completely excluded from this operation.

HM. Okay, then. My boldface above indicates that, at the very least, Trump is fully cognizant of just who he can and cannot trust, and is making his own moves in accord with that belated awareness. But there’s more yet. Heightening the mystery and anticipation, über-attorney Lin Wood is busting out all grinny and happy about something his own bad self. It’s well worth bending my no-Tweet rule a wee mite for, I do believe:

Well, well, well, well, WELL. The Big One? If this pans out, it could very well be the Biggest One ever dropped, making Fat Man and Little Boy look like a butterfly kiss in comparison. Go get ’em, Mr Preznit sir. May Almighty God grant you (and all of us) the last laugh on the weasels, worms, and miscellaneous election-rigging filthbags at long, long last.

Velvet glove removed

Fascist Fauci flexes the iron hand.

WASHINGTON — Dr. Anthony Fauci has some new coronavirus guidance: “Do what you’re told.”

In an interview Thursday, the coronavirus task force member and infectious disease expert pushed back on the notion that scientists were “authoritarian” for promoting strict lockdowns and social distancing measures.

But the 79-year-old suggested the American spirit of independence had gotten in the way and the nation needed to follow their orders, whether they liked it or not.

“I was talking with my UK colleagues who are saying the UK is similar to where we are now, because each of our countries have that independent spirit,” Fauci said during a panel with other experts in Washington, DC.

“I can understand that, but now is the time to do what you’re told,” he said, as first reported by CNBC.

Tell ya what, I got a better idea for ya. I continue doing exactly as I damned well please; go wherever I need or want to go, for whatever reason I conjure; ignore your precious lockdowns and defy your stupid face-diaper “mandates” completely. While YOU go piss up a fucking rope, you fucking pencil-neck geek.

“Do what you’re told,” proclaims the petty dimestore dictator, the “doctor” who never treated a patient in his life, the parasitic career bureaucrat who has never once been elected to anything. For such a scrawny, weedy, soft-handed little shit, he sure talks big, don’t he? Seems to enjoy throwing his weight around way too much, too. Which I’d guess to be no more than a buck thirty or so. But hey, fascist is as fascist does, always and forever, I guess.

Elsewhere, another bumbling bureaucrat makes another typically moronic assertion.

Dr. Michael Osterholm, a coronavirus advisor to President-elect Joe Biden, said that a 4-6 week lockdown that shut down businesses and compensated workers for lost wages may curb the spread of the virus and get the economy on track until a vaccine is approved and distributed.

Ace slices that baloney:

Shutting the economy down will get the economy “on track”?

The economy that grew 31% last quarter? The economy that is adding a million jobs per month as we come out of the lockdowns?

You’re going to get that economy on track with another month and a half of lockdowns?

When did any Democrat, bureau-rat, or other genus of shitlib ever have the vaguest clue about what might or might not be required to “get the economy on track”? Although since the fundamental premise shared by all such specimens—that the solution to every problem, including economic ones, can come only from government—is a total crock of shit, anything Osterwhoop believes might “get the economy on track” would be a miserable failure regardless. So really, you can’t blame him for his wet-brained stupidity. He is what he is; to expect better from him would be unreasonable and unfair.

Do what you’re told. It’s a sad testament to how far we’ve fallen that an American government employee would ever to dare to say such a thing out loud, in public, without having to immediately go into hiding in fear for his very life. Fauci & Friends’ obvious unfamiliarity with such fear is the reason why the whole country now finds itself completely upside-down, ass-backwards, and in an awful fix.

Throughout government, American “public servants” no longer consider themselves our employees, but our masters. Clearly, that attitude is in need of some serious adjustment.

Of brass tacks, the nitty-gritty, and nut-cuttin’

Let’s get right down to ’em.

Last Wednesday, supporters of President Donald Trump gathered outside ballot counting centers in Arizona and Michigan to demand a clean and honest vote count. An MSNBC reporter in Arizona filmed the protesters in Maricopa County, where 400,000 ballots were being counted. Standing behind the protesters, the reporter tried to paint the crowd as violent and dangerous even as they stood and kneeled in silent prayer for election integrity.

It was a hard sell, but other reporters quickly got in on the action, and videos appeared throughout the day of reporters describing the swelling crowd chanting “Count the Vote” as violent.

There may be an innocent explanation for the obvious misinformation.

No there isn’t. To believe there might be, you’d need to accept the self-evidently spurious notion that we’re talking about innocent, impartial players here—honest reporters with nothing but pure hearts, clear consciences, and good intentions motivating them. At this point, anybody who isn’t guffawing right out loud at the very idea is a damned fool.

Political violence, like ballot harvesting, is a feature of the Democrats’ post-democratic political playbook. And here it is important to remember how things transpired in real time.

During the 2016 election, Hillary Clinton, her campaign and the media presented Trump and his supporters as illegitimate political actors. Clinton memorably referred to them as “deplorables.” When Trump won the race, their delegitimization of Trump and his supporters quickly led them not to oppose Trump’s presidency, actions and policies, but to reject the legitimacy of both his presidency and of the democratic process that enables “deplorables” to choose a president that the Democrats don’t support.

That is, the delegitimization of Trump and his voters morphed into a rejection of the rules of American democracy.

Actually, it’s the other way around: the Left’s rejection of American democracy and Constitutional government long predated their refusal to accept Trump’s 2016 win, which then led to the ongoing campaign to delegitimize and remove him from office, by any means they could contrive.

It’s impossible to know how things will develop in America in the coming weeks. But it is hard to see a rainbow over the horizon. If Trump is declared the winner, the Democrats won’t accept the legitimacy of the verdict. Their use of political violence will undoubtedly rise.

And if Biden is declared the winner, the Democrats will not rest on their laurels. Having already adopted the totalitarian mindset, they will insist their newfound power be used to advance their program. Indeed, they already are.

MSNBC commentator Jason Johnson said Wednesday that there must be no peace for Republicans in a Biden presidency. Johnson warned Biden that he mustn’t even think about magnanimity in victory. He is “at war.”

In Johnson’s words, “You cannot come into this White House with the idea that these people [Trump supporters] aren’t the enemy. They are. They are the enemies of democracy.”

As I keep saying, we must take true enemies of democracy, liberty, and Constitutionally-proper governance like the excrescence Johnson at their word. Not should, mind you; MUST. Because trust me, they are NOT just whistling Dixie with all this bluster about “war” and “enemies” and such. These villanous curs have demonstrated enough times by now that they mean these terms quite literally, and take this war quite seriously indeed.

So must Team Liberty, then. We must ditch any and all remaining reticence over naming them enemies and start calling a spade a spade here. To go on being reluctant to face the unpleasant facts squarely will do nothing more than guarantee we’ll be overwhelmed and, ultimately, undone by them. Our enemy intends to win, and to rule. We must not, we cannot, allow that. However impolite the more genteel among us think it to say such beastly things right out loud, they’ll dislike what happens if we lose this war a whole lot more.

As for Trump’s supporters, after being called “chumps” by Biden, after watching the Democrat-run vote counts and Big Tech’s censorship of the president, Trump’s supporters will not trust the integrity of the process that brought Biden to the White House. And it is hard to imagine them taking it silently.

Standing outside the Philadelphia courthouse Wednesday, Giuliani addressed both the media and Trump’s supporters. Looking at the reporters, he said, “Do you think we’re stupid? You think we are fools?”

Turning to Trump’s supporters, Giuliani added, “Do you know something? The Democrats do think you’re stupid, they do think you’re fools, and that’s why you get called deplorable chumps. That’s over.”

No, not yet it isn’t. Count on it, people: none of this—NONE of it—will be over unless and until WE DECIDE IT IS, and then make that decision stick. Like it or not, there’s only one way to do that. It won’t be pretty, it won’t be easy, and it won’t be pleasant. But at the end of the day, the alternative will be far, far worse. It’s time for us to stop being chumps and show these assholes instead just how “deplorable” we can be when we need to. Time, too, to show them exactly why we’ve been “bitterly clinging” to our Bibles and our guns, and to teach them exactly what the 2A is really all about.

“Unite” this

It ought to happen, and it ought to be only the beginning of what happens. But it won’t.

With the media, establishment Republicans and Democrats calling for Americans to “unite” around the so-called “President-Elect,” Levin issued a scathing retort, “I’m part of the new resistance, God forbid if our president doesn’t win…I am not uniting around [Biden] any more than they united around our man.”

Levin is right on target. If Biden assumes the White House under these questionable circumstances, he should receive the same treatment from conservatives and Republicans that President Trump received from his multitude of political opponents. A political resistance should be launched against Biden and all the crooked forces that supported him.

Trump was not given a moment’s rest during his tenure. There was no honeymoon, no bipartisanship, and no acceptance of his presidency from his opposition. He endured coup attempts, a bogus impeachment, a Covid-19 hysteria designed to harm the economy and a fraudulent election process that resulted in millions of unsolicited ballots being mailed across the country.

Possibly, the enemies of the president have defeated him with this latest ruse, but his supporters must never forget what he had to undergo. It is only right and just that a President Biden be treated in precisely the same manner.

I proposed more or less the same thing myself a while back, with one slight difference: not just Biden but any and every Demonrat “president” from here ’til Doomsday should know not a single moment’s peace, respite, or comfort ever again. He should be hounded brutally and without mercy by every Republican in government, until the accumulated stress causes the douchenozzle to fall over stone dead from a brain aneurysm. For Biden-Harris, for Harris-Biden, and all their successors, the harrassment campaign should officially kick off with an Inauguration Day announcement from House Republicans that impeachment proceedings will begin no later than, oh, say, thirty fucking seconds after the echo of the oath of office’s recitation has faded into the ether.

Henceforth, here should be entire teams of GOP officials beavering away at nothing other than finding all the ways in which a Demonrat (p)Resident might be hopelessly bedeviled. Should any member of said teams evince any sign of discomfort or pangs of conscience over the Demonrat’s hellish ordeal, he would be dismissed without prejudice, warming the pines at least until he gets his mind right again, to be replaced by a less squeamish Inquisitor who has his heart more fully in the game.

Then, after Team Torquemada finally drives “President” Fuzznuts to keel over in his cornflakes, the “State funeral” will include a procession of Repubs gathering ’round to poke the corpse with sharp sticks, piss over it, drag it around the White House grounds by the wrists, and such-like abuse, until the mouldering carcass finally crumbles into a gooey, revolting mess. The pile of offal can then be wheelbarrowed out to the verymost edge of the White House grounds and dumped there without further ceremony or regard. Hey, crows and buzzards gotta eat too, y’know.

But like I said, it won’t happen, and we all know it. Not because the GOPe lacks either guts or smarts, as so many like to complain about when Vichy Repubs “accidentally” screw the pooch yet again. Nor is it because of any lack of commitment on their part; they’re just committed as all get out, and have demonstrated so all too many times in their battles with Trump. No, it’s because their commitment is exclusively to something diametrically opposite to what they falsely claim it is, that’s all.

I’d dearly love to be proved wrong about this, just as I dearly wish I’d trip over a sack full of thousand dollar bills on the sidewalk tomorrow afternoon. With McConnell, Graham, and other Repugnican swine already expressing their eagerness to “work with” “President-elect Biden” after a “peaceful transition of power,” I’m way more confident about the odds on the latter coming to pass than the former, alas.

Update! The good Rabbi Fischer has your fucking “unity”—swinging.

It is the clarion call, the siren call, from the Democrat-Media-Left Alliance: “Think of the good of the country. Now is a time for healing. Stop investigating ballot fraud. What we need now is unity.”

You want unity? That’s fair. We will give you unity:

1. In unity with you, we will follow your example of the past four years and deny the legitimacy of the 2020 election for the next four years.

2. In unity with you, we will follow your example of the past four years and investigate the Biden family’s every business dealing at home and abroad.

3. In unity with you, we will follow your example of the past four years and question Biden’s mental fitness to hold office.

4. In unity with you, we will follow your example of the past four years and question Biden’s physical fitness to hold office.

5. In unity with you, we will follow your example of the past four years and blame Biden for every person who dies from the coronavirus.

6. In unity with you, we will follow your example of the past four years and blame Biden personally for every Black person who is shot anywhere in America.

7. In unity with you, we will follow your example of the past four years and never stop publicizing that Biden has been accused of grabbing a woman’s crotch against her will.

8. In unity with you, we will follow your example of the past four years and emphasize that, any time a woman makes a claim of sexual harassment against Biden, she must be believed.

9. In unity with you, we will follow your example of the past four years and continue publicizing that Kamala Harris, like Evita Perón, slept her way into public life…

…Al Gore fought and denied the 2000 results for more than a month and litigated all the way up to the United States Supreme Court. So in unity with you, we pledge to follow your example of litigating the results as far and as high as the courts permit. Unity is a good thing. It binds us as one American people, tied together in pursuit of a common cause, a shared purpose. We already are learning to think identically. We even have ordered our reams of paper to tear in halves at the next State of the Union address. The healing already has begun. We look forward to continuing this healing for the next four years — at least. How could we…Resist?

Several more between my ellipses, all of which add up to some “unity” I could REALLY get behind.
