The biggest DIY project of all time
Roll up your sleeves, everybody.
During an impromptu address from the White House Tuesday night, President Trump called his supporters to “raise their voices” and demand that election injustices be “immediately corrected.”
“If this egregious fraud is not fully investigated and addressed, the 2020 election will forever be regarded as illegitimate and the most corrupt election in the history of our country,” the president declared.
In his remarks, President Trump sought to explain to the American people why he is “so determined to pursue every legal and constitutional option available” to overturn the 2020 election.
“As president, one of my most solemn duties is to protect the integrity of your sacred right to vote,” Trump said. “This year, using the virus as a pretext, Democrat officials in the key swing states illegally violated their own state laws in order to enable, encourage and facilitate fraud on a scale never before seen in the history of our country.”
The president insisted that he won the election by a landslide. “We won it big,” he said.
“Now is the time for the American people to raise their voices and demand that this injustice be immediately corrected,” Trump said.
Sorry, Mr President, but mere voices aren’t going to fix this, no matter how many of them we raise or how high we raise them. How could they, when we know our enemies are deaf to them anyhow? No, I’m afraid we’ll have to raise something more, um, tangible, shall we say. Something that causes more than just psychological pain when it’s raised. Something that will raise a few things in its own special way: bruises, welts, blisters, scars.
You’re right, however, to urge We the People to stand with you in support. The fact is that, sooner or later, the defense of liberty always falls to us. The task is far too vital to trust a proven-untrustworthy “leadership” cabal to see the job done. We have shirked; we have been slack and indolent, we have sought to fob our duty off on others. Even worse, we seem to have forgotten that it ever was our duty in the first damned place.
As a result, we’ve fallen badly behind on the maintenance that keeps our blessed inheritance properly tuned, and now find ourselves in one hell of a mess. The Constitution engine is wheezing, clanking, spewing smoke and fluids from a dozen places due to years of neglect and abuse. It’s dangerously close to throwing a rod or breaking the crank, seizing it beyond hope of repair. It’s no more than appropriate and just that we re-shoulder the burden, take up the tools prescribed in the manual (yes, I do mean THOSE tools, should the Enemy persist in his ever-more-crude thievery and thuggery), and get back to work before we find ourselves broken down far from home, stranded in a dark and dismal place into which we should never have strayed, and will endlessly rue the visit.
