“America’s Elites are trash”

NAILED. IT.

Former US intelligence colleagues are angry and deeply worried at what has happened in Afghanistan. Here’s what I’m hearing, and why there’s nearly universal belief that America and the world are in for one of the most dangerous, unpredictable times in modern history.

Afghanistan has shown the world — enemies & allies alike — that our military & intel assets are largely irrelevant because we can’t deploy them successfully. The blame lays at the feet of multiple Presidents. The Generals. The Spies. The Congress.

America’s Elites are trash. China knows it. They will become emboldened, covertly & overtly. War over Taiwan and contested islands in the S. China Sea and E. China Sea is now more likely. Russia will consider similar covert & overt moves, focused on Crimea, & former Soviet satellites. The fear is that China & Russia will act in concert.

Why? America was whipped by a tiny rebel force and couldn’t even retreat properly. Meanwhile, the American people are angry, COVID weary, & divided. If there were ever a time to push American hegemony aside, this is it. If Cold War III grows hot, America will need to quickly build up & work with foreign counterparts. But who will trust America after Afghanistan? Who believes we have the leadership to use our military might well? Who will trust us when we say “We Will Stand With You”?

Nobody with half a lick of sense, on every one of those questions. Including me.

Beyond China/Russia, others will take gambles too. Terror orgs like al-Qa’ida & ISIS are degraded but not dead. Their ideology is very much alive. Iran’s Hizballah — with terror cells throughout the US — may see an opening to create chaos too.

Meanwhile, the disaster inside Afghanistan is only just beginning. The Taliban will launch a terror campaign against American collaborators. The pictures will shock the conscience of the world, further degrading American moral authority. Biden & Co will struggle to respond.

There’s also the nightmare of tactical weaponry now awash in Afghanistan, in the hands of the Taliban and — soon — on the global black market. These arms will fuel chaos around the world for decades. The Pentagon has no idea where this stuff is and no plans to destroy it.

Finally, if Afghani refugees pour into the US, there are profound implications for security, culture, the economy, & politics. Are they properly vetted? Do they hold Western/tolerant values re: women, gays? Do they bring skills/education? Which party will they support?

More questions for which sentient beings already have the answers: no, RUFKM, HELL no, and three guesses, DUH. Expect to see much more splodeydopery, head-choppery, and sidewalk-murder-trucks driven into crowds up close and personal-like all across the too-feckless-to-bother-saving-itself Woke West, as the victorious Taliban expands its power and reach to put all those new war-toys abandoned by the fleeing Uncle Sam to best use.

The existential problem is that America needs good leadership to right its ship but there is none. Our federal bench is weak. Biden is a corrupt old man. Impeachment is a long shot; VP Harris is an unpopular paperweight. The Legislature is a feckless cabal of empty suits. Leadership could come from a state Governor, it’s true, but not soon enough. The above threats by China, Russia, & Co will metastasize well before the 2024 elections, and even a heroic new President will need years to clean things up.

Hate to be the one to hip ya, buddy, but the problem is even more existential than you may realize. NO President—however heroic, over whatever span of time he’s given—can or will clean this up. The mess is simply too big, the rot too deep, the national fabric too tattered and torn. This Augean stable is beyond hope of restoration; even the mighty Hercules himself would only throw up his hands in despair and just walk away from the job, shaking his head and muttering under his breath about what a total dick that damned King Eurystheus was for assigning it to him in the first place. Which, as it turned out in the end, he really was a dick. Anyhoo.

Again, our enemies and allies know this. Upshot: There is fear and outrage streaming through former intel officers over the Afghanistan debacle. America is rudderless. And the world now knows it. Grave dangers lie ahead, some predictable, others unimaginable.

‘Fraid so. The closing plea to “vote for change” is risible and pathetic, of course, in enforced accord with Beck’s First Law of TINVOWOOT™. But the rest is pretty much spot on, I’d say. Makes one wonder, since Wright is identified as a “former CIA ops officer,” whether there might not actually be a few white hats in the US spook community after all. Or might have been in the past, shall we say.

Question asked, question answered

Because you’re a bunch of goddamned liars, that’s why.

Why Don’t They Believe Us?
You’re struggling to understand where all this vaccine hesitancy comes from. Let me help you.

Imagine you’re a normal person. The year is 2016. Rightly or wrongly, you believe most of what you see in the media. You believe polls are broadly reflective of public opinion. You believe doctors and scientists are trustworthy and independent. You’re a decent, reasonable person who follows the rules and trusts the authorities.

You are proud to be doing your part. Thanks to you and millions of your fellow citizens, the first wave of the pandemic overwhelms certain hot spots, but it does not devastate the health care system at a national level. While thousands sadly die, you’ve helped to protect those around you.

Imagine your confusion as the same people who spent three months telling you not only that masks don’t work, but that there are several reasons you shouldn’t wear or purchase them, suddenly introduce mask mandates. We’re “following the science,” they tell you. This seems to make little sense, but a pandemic is no time for questions. And who knows, maybe our understanding of the science evolved?

As you cautiously go to the supermarket, you notice that masks have made people less likely to socially distance. You remember reading somewhere that bicycle helmets work similarly: They give the wearer more confidence, and the result is often more accidents and injuries, not fewer. “Silly people,” you say to yourself. “If only they would follow the experts.”

You turn on your TV and learn that shoppers at your local supermarket aren’t the only ones who have been ignoring the rules. Nancy Pelosi arranged for a salon, shutdown by government decree, to open privately for her—then publicly blamed the business owner for violating the lockdown. California Gov. Gavin Newsom is seen eating dinner at one of the most expensive restaurants in America with a large group of unmasked people indoors. In the U.K., Neil Ferguson, the epidemiologist whose projections were used as the basis for lockdowns, appears to have broken his own rules to get some action with his married lover. Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s chief adviser, Dominic Cummings, drove halfway across the country to ensure he had a better place to isolate. The journalists who berate him for this are later found to have attended an unmasked, indoor birthday party in breach of the rules. The lockdowns continue.

The same people who told you Brexit would never happen, that Trump would never win, that when he did win it was because of Russian collusion but also because of racism, that you must follow lockdowns while they don’t, that masks don’t work, that masks do work, that social justice protests during pandemic lockdowns are a form of “health intervention,” that ransacking African American communities in the name of fighting racism is a “mostly peaceful” form of protest, that poor and underserved children locked out of shuttered schools are “still learning,” that Jussie Smollett was a victim of a hate crime, that men are toxic, that there is an infinite number of genders, that COVID couldn’t have come from a lab until maybe it did, that closing borders is racist until maybe it isn’t, that you shouldn’t take Trump’s vaccine, that you must take the vaccine developed during the Trump administration, that Andrew Cuomo is a great leader, that Andrew Cuomo is a granny killer, that the number of COVID deaths is one thing and then another … are the same people telling you now that the vaccine is safe, that you must take it, and that if you don’t, you will be a second-class citizen.

Understand vaccine hesitancy now?

If you ask me, terms like “vaccine hesitancy,” along with our shiny new group-epithets “the vaccine-reluctant” and “vaccine-resistant” are some pretty weak tea. As a totally committed “Vaccine” Refusenik™ my own self, I am proudly, openly, and irreversibly Vaccine Hostile. Unfortunately for the increasingly restive Vaxx Nazis out there, people like me aren’t anywhere near as cowardly, pliable, and just plain stupid as they desperately need us to be, and that’s bound to mean big trouble for ’em before all’s said and done. Which calls for an embed of one of the absolute greatest soliloquys from one of the absolute greatest movies of all time:

Serenity has never been more relevant, or more apropos. Chock of full of rich, buttery goodness as it surely is, it’s truly mind-boggling that the creator of both film and TeeWee series (Firefly, for those poor deprived souls who have been dwelling off-planet for the past couple decades) is in fact a Mark-1, Mod-0 libtard. It Does. Not. Compute. Not for me, it don’t.

More inspirational quotes:

“People don’t like to be meddled with. We tell them what to do, what to think, don’t run, don’t walk. We’re in their homes and in their heads and we haven’t the right. We’re meddlesome.”
HUNTER ANSLEY WRYN – Young River

“Can I make a suggestion that doesn’t involve violence, or is this the wrong crowd for that?”
(during a fight)
NATHAN FILLION – Mal

“- The Operative: I believe in something greater than myself. A better world. A world without sin.
– Mal: So me and mine gotta lay down and die… so you can live in your better world?”
CHIWETEL EJIOFOR – The Operative
NATHAN FILLION – Mal

The Operative: Do you know what your sin is, Mal?
Mal: Ah, hell, I’m a fan of all seven. But right now, I’m gonna have to go with wrath.

Inara Serra: You came to the Training House looking for a fight.
Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: I came looking for you!
Inara Serra: The war’s over, Mal.
Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: You tellin’ me that cause you think I don’t know?
Inara Serra: I’ve just seen so many sides of you, I wanna make sure I know who I’m dealing with.
Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: I start fightin’ a war, I guarantee you’ll see somethin’ new.

To close things out, a few memorable stand-alones from Captain Malcolm Reynolds.

“My days of not taking you seriously are certainly comin’ to a middle.”

“My estimation is that…every man ever got a statue made of him was one kind of a son of a bitch or another.”

Someone ever tries to kill you, you try to kill ’em right back.”

“That sounds like the Alliance. Unite all the planets under one rule so that everybody can be interfered with or ignored equally.”

“Point of interest? Offering to shoot us don’t work so well as an incentive as you might imagine.”

“Half of writing history is hiding the truth.”

Yep, we are all Captain Mal now. Or we’d damned well better learn to be, at least. I don’t mean slow, either.

The politics of fear

You’ve been played.

Human response to fear is something that has been under the microscope for decades. Since at least the 1930s, social scientists have been studying the effects of fear appeals, or fear messages, on human behavior. What is a fear appeal, and to what extent did an understanding of fear-based behavior shape the Covid-19 narrative?

A fear appeal is a carefully contrived message meant to influence attitude and or, behavioral change. An effective message will contain two elements—the threat itself, and the recommended course of action. The appeal should focus on the intended target’s perceptions on how the threat directly affects them. If the message is shaped correctly, it should make them believe there would be dire consequences for not complying with the recommended steps to alleviate the danger. According to the book, Dynamics of Persuasion: Communication and Attitudes in the 21st Century, developing a fear based message is an art “which requires an intricate understanding of human behavior.”

One of the most influential studies concerning people’s reactions to media messaging occurred after the War of the World’s radio broadcast in 1938. They conducted this study to examine the panic that ensued as millions of people reacted to the play as if they believed Earth was really being invaded by Martians.

There were two key findings which directly relate to fear messaging and reactions to Covid-19. One, the people’s trust in media figures, or people in the play depicting media figures, was an essential element in the panicked reactions. Two was the mental frame of reference. Just as popular media normalized a belief in alien life, the threat of a killer virus wiping out mankind falls within the existing framework of people’s mental judgment.

Not only is this idea popularized through by Hollywood movies like 28 Days Later, and television series like The Walking Dead, but also through continuous fear campaigns concerning other viruses like MRSA and Swine Flu. If a message, or stimuli, does not contradict what people already believe to be a possibility, it is more likely to be accepted as valid. This is useful information for someone who may be crafting a fear appeal to influence your behavior.

Skeptical Americans who have questioned the plandemic from the beginning have suspected that the intent was to frighten us into accepting the vaccine. Many people understand Marxism and the concept of The Hegelian Dialectic. This is the idea, based on dialectical materialism, that all social progress is because of conflict.

The Hegelian Dialectic suggests that problems are deliberately created, coaxing the public into demanding a pre-planned solution which is waiting to be implemented. While this seems to be a conspiratorial idea, a deep dive into the study of Marxism shows the concepts exist, at least theoretically. There is evidence that shows this theory, in relation to our response to fear, could have been used in exploiting our reactions to Covid-19.

COULD have?

There is a question as to how long the state of mindlessness lasts. The research has shown that if given the opportunity, or if placed in a situation where a mindful decision had to be made immediately following the removal of a fear stimulus, automatic compliance may not be the result.

The continuously changing information surrounding Covid-19, and the confusion associated with it, could be a deliberate strategy to avoid this, keeping people anxious and willing to get the vaccine. That is a theoretical speculation, but given the fact that the narrative has shifted to demanding we all get vaccinated because unvaccinated people are making those who got the shot sicker, it is speculation that should be taken seriously.

COULD be?

Also: “Theoretical speculation,” my baggy white ass. If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, I’m not afraid to go waaaay out on a limb here and say that it goes beyond mere “speculation” to assert that it might just be a duck. Likewise, when first-person observation indicates, as it surely does, that government has been manipulating data; suppressing fact while promulgating falsehood; clawing away at the already-threadbare remnants of freedom under demonstrably false pretenses; issuing unlawful edicts they lack any legal authority for; and just generally skulking about the place like a sneakthief in the dead of night, there are certain assumptions one is perfectly entitled to make concerning what might really be going on.

Those who didn’t already know it must at last come to grips with the raw truth about the nature, the character, and the intentions of their would-be masters, in Mordor on the Potomac and closer to home as well. After all this, anyone who believes a single word out of any government official’s mouth, or still clings to one iota of faith in the integrity or good intentions of such, is a damned fool. As far as “the people’s trust in media figures” goes, there simply are no words harsh enough to describe the damned fool who still carries a trace of that. Assuming one even exists, that is.

Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice…

I DO “trust the science,” generally speaking. I do NOT trust the scientists, most especially those beholden to FederalGovCo for their livelihood, research grant funding, and exalted status. As for “doctors” who spend their entire professional lives securely ensconced in the cozy confines of the federal bureaucracy—without ever, over the entire course of a nearly fifty-year career, even once treating a patient, writing a prescription, or helping a sick person recover—well, they can go hang for all me.

Yes, literally.

Fauci, Walensky, Biden, Pasaki and the rest of the Biden apparatchiks are liars, frauds, and fear mongering whores for Big Pharma. Fauci is the father of covid. He created it with his illegal gain of function funding, partnering with the communist government of China and is responsible for all the death and economic destruction wrought over the last eighteen months. He should be tried, convicted and executed for crimes against humanity. History should lump him with the likes of Josef Mengele and other mass murders.

He continues to lie on a daily basis and the cucks in the corporate propaganda media never question his lies or push back in any way. They are co-conspirators in this authoritarian attempt to override the Constitution and enslave you in a pharmacological techno gulag. The merger of Big Government with Big Pharma, Big Tech, Big Finance and Big Corp endangers the rights, freedoms and liberties guaranteed to citizens under the U.S. Constitution.

The totalitarians never let a good fake crisis go to waste. This faux flu crisis is being marketed to the hilt by those pressing their agenda of medical tyranny, backed by technological surveillance and tracking, and coordinated with mega-corporations and social media censorship police. Their agenda is deeply disturbing and Orwellian in nature. The almost hysterical lies and blather being uttered by Fauci, Walensky, their fawning media acolytes, tyrant governors, and bureaucrat government drones, clearly points toward a more nefarious goal. Nothing being implemented by the Federal government, state governments, or mega-corporations is based upon science, your health, or anyone else’s health.

The desperate nature of the authoritarian actions being implemented by the elitists running our country and their corporate co-conspirators is foretelling a much darker truth lurking below the surface. This global Ponzi scheme we call our economic and financial system is ripping apart at the seams. The powerful and wealthy oligarchs who already control the levers of power and own most of the wealth do not want to see their heaven on earth of riches evaporate like a puddle on a hot summer day. This is why they are attempting to install a command and control “build back better” Great Reset plan where they will own everything and you will own nothing,  say nothing, do as you are told, and get your yearly booster shot for the newest variant of a phantom flu.

We allowed them to shut down the country, destroy small businesses, put tens of millions out of work, forced you to wear face diapers, created drastically more dependency on government handouts, drove the national debt up by $6.5 trillion in eighteen months, and essentially handed over our entire economy to Wall Street puppets at the Federal Reserve whose sole purpose is to keep enriching bankers, billionaires, and the corporatocracy.

They reduced the pressure for a brief time, but they learned how gullible and pliable the willfully ignorant masses were during round one of their authoritarian takeover. Round two looks to be more tyrannical and enforced by their police thugs, corporate backers, social media tyrants, and their zombie hordes of vaxxed Karens snitching on those not following the plan. Biden and his handlers are shitting on the Constitution on a daily basis and don’t believe the rule of law applies to them. They are allowing millions of illegal immigrants (many with covid), who somehow (Soros) have the money to fly to Mexico from their 3rd world shitholes, to pour over the border and be transported to swing state Democrat run urban paradises.

If we don’t forcefully push back now, we may never be given another chance to reverse this downward spiral of a once free nation. We are crossing our Rubicon and there will be no turning back. The decisions we make individually and as a country in the next few months will determine whether we are mice or men.

Wise men from the past knew the enemy can always be found within. We need to identify our enemy, confront them through non-compliance with their mandates, boycotting corporations supporting the regime, organizing workers to resist vaccine mandates through strikes or mass resignation,  passive resistance by throwing monkey wrenches into the gears of their financial system, and if need be exercising our 2nd Amendment rights. I am not overstating this threat, as this country is being pushed toward the brink by an enemy in plain sight.

Bold mine, because it’s about time more people started facing the facts as they currently stand. Our enemy, for his part, should give some careful thought about how rapidly being “in plain sight” can devolve into being part of a “sight picture,” suddenly and without warning.

A fragile peace

Looking on as, all around us, the collapse accelerates.

In the distant future, as Gibbon did, some historian will stick his wrinkled finger on a calendar date and pronounce “and on this date, the United States of America fell.” If by some miracle I were to witness the event, I would not be surprised if that date was already in our past. Historians have the benefit of hindsight, but also of not living in the aquarium they spend their lives researching. Some say Rome fell in 476, as a puppet emperor was deposed and sent into retirement. Did Roman citizens know this was an ending of things? No. To them the real emperor resided in Constantinople. Since they had first drawn breath, all power resided there, in New Rome. Old Rome had been a shadow for generations, and even in Italy, rule had long been pronounced from Ravenna, itself far less important than the economically powerful East.

Justinian the Great thought himself the Emperor of the Romans and ruled over the Mediterranean shores as tightly as many of his predecessors, more than half a century after the fall. What changed, then, on that day historians marked? Symbols changed; I suppose. We see discontinuity, but there was none. We see change, but such change was gradual, the product of generations.

The point is essentially arbitrary. A finger found its way to a date on a calendar, one small event in a sequence of centuries, and thus was it pronounced: Rome has fallen.

Look out of your window and see urban gentrification, perhaps. Or peaceful suburbia. Perhaps you see farm fields, forests, or the unbroken concrete towers of the projects – those never particularly peaceful, but no worse, perhaps, than you recall in your youth. America outwardly looks like America.

On the Internet, however, it is every cyberpunk dystopian hellhole ever conceived. And worse, perhaps. The things that lie beneath on Twitter should scare anybody.

A video was posted the other day of two thieves conducting an armed robbery. One of the victims pulled out a handgun and shot one of the thieves. You could tell the affiliation of every commenter. Their cultural and moral values were so diametrically opposed that nothing could unite them. To the Leftist, this was a great tragedy, and the victim was evil for killing some presumably poor person for the crime of attempting to feed themselves and resist systemic oppression. To the Rightist, the armed robber had forfeited his life the moment he drew that weapon and attempted to steal someone else’s possessions. The shooter was to be commended for eliminating such a clearly deficient specimen.

In a way, it does not even matter which one was right, though I suspect my readers would have a strong opinion. What matters is the diametrically opposed viewpoints, the hatred and vitriol thrown back and forth between people who are theoretically of the same nation, the same cultural stew. Of course, they are not of the same milieu, not truly. We know that now. Was it always this way, and the Internet just exposed it? I do not know. Maybe.

Regardless, there is no peace beyond the wifi.

Yet the fragile peace – with its occasional flare-ups – that holds in the real world cannot hold forever. What will happen if that dam ever bursts? If all the animus, hatred, and vitriol of social media crosses into reality?

Driving down the street, look at the signs. MAGA signs never taken down. Declarations that this house or that house believes in the core tenets of Progressive Faith. Screaming matches over mask and vaccination policies. The peace in the real world stands on the edge of a knife. Everyone fears to cross the line, to admit openly what they know privately: these are not my countrymen. These are not my people. I do not like them, and they never liked me. They do not share my values, and I do not share theirs. We have nothing in common.

What happens when all pretenses are stripped away?

Someday, the historians will look back on our history, and they will find a moment – perhaps one as seemingly-insignificant as the deposition of a minor puppet ruler in Italy was to the story of Rome – and they will say “this is the day America was cleaved in two.”

Perhaps those same historians will say of the Cold War that both the USSR and the USA fell, the former due to economics and the latter due to cultural infighting. Perhaps like the ancient fall of Sassanid Persia and the diminishing of Byzantium. Or perhaps it will be seen as something entirely different. We live in the aquarium they will someday comment on. None of us will live to know.

Regardless, there is no singular America, not anymore. Only the outward appearance still exists – and only so long as the waning pretenses of peace last in the real world. Not forever, I imagine. Perhaps not even very long.

Those “waning pretenses of peace” hold solely because Real Americans, some unknown percentage of them at any rate, still want it to. It will last not one minute past the moment when the last thread of their patience has snapped, the last tatterdemalion remnant of their natural optimism and restraint has been ripped to pieces. And then, it’s Katy bar the door: open season on shitlibs, no bag limit, no ammo restrictions. Weapons free, and happy hunting!

The really remarkable thing to me is how the Collectivists, whether from arrogance or blind stupidity, insist so mulishly on keeping the pedal firmly to the metal in spite of absolutely everything. It’s as if they’re completely unaware of Dead Man’s Curve looming closer and closer just down the road, and that they’re already going much too fast to negotiate it safely and avoid a horrific crash. Human civilization has traveled this same road many times before; its hazards are known, the roadmap accurate, specific, and crystal clear. They KNOW what comes next, what has always come next. Yet still, they persist. It’s mind-blowing, is what it is.

Red Dawn has broken

On the beam, with a caveat.

The Democrats’ RED DAWN: Yes, It’s A Communist Coup. But There Are Signs Of Hope
Remember John Milius’ 1984 classic movie, Red Dawn, in which Soviet and Cuban shock troops capture the town of Calumet CO? In one particularly compelling scene, the victorious occupiers execute Americans accused of conspiring with high school rebels who have been waging guerrilla warfare. But just before the Reds open fire, the condemned patriots start singing America the Beautiful.

I thought of that when reading Julie Kelly’s account of the January 6 Mostly Peaceful Protesters, still scandalously held in solitary confinement for their political opinions, singing the National Anthem every evening [January 6 Detainees Sing the National Anthem, July 18, 2021] Except this time, the enemy isn’t the Soviets: it’s Joe Biden and his—let’s face it—de facto Communist regime.

Hate to say it and all, truly I do, but at this point it might be about time we dropped the whole National Anthem/patriotism thing. The sad, sorry truth is that it’s an anthem for a nation that no longer exists except in rose-tinted memory, and cannot be brought back. Mourning the nation they’ve stolen from us and are in the process of dismantling it even as I type this is one thing; pure nostalgia is something altogether else, and if over-indulged will serve only to blunt the edge of a perfectly honed and well-justified rage, attenuating what of right ought to be a keen appetite for retribution until it’s nothing more than flabby futility.

These political prisoners’ “Days In Court” will be Stalinist show trials, designed to signal that opponents are “terrorists” and to make clear what the Regime has in mind for the Historic American Nation: legal and political harassment, then dispossession and, ultimately, Replacement. In the eyes of many Democrat officials and Leftist pundits, the so-called attack on the U.S. Capitol was “worse than 9/11”.

But there are signs of hope.

I must say I find the “signs of hope” he cites rather, umm, underwhelming. Could be that’s just me, though.

Maybe something remains of what truly unified Americans 20 years ago, when Saudi Muslim radicals—who shouldn’t have been in the country anyway—murdered 3,000 of our countrymen:

Unfortunately, rank-and-file Democrats seem be gulled their leaders. A poll from Echelon Insights in February reported the top concerns for Democrat voters:

  • Donald Trump supporters: 82 percent
  • White nationalism: 79 percent
  • Systemic racism: 77 percent

In contrast, Republicans said their top concerns are illegal immigration (81 percent) then lack of support for the police, and high taxes.

Not one issue among voters of the two parties overlaps. The two sides live in different worlds—what VDARE.com has called “America” and “Anti-America.”

The question we must ask is this: At what point do we realize a coup of unimaginable proportions has occurred, and our fate might be that of the Americans in Milius’ Red Dawn?

And the question we must answer remains the same: What, if anything, is to be done about that? Because, one way or another, it WILL be answered. It’s entirely up to us to see to it that it’s an answer we can live with—literally.

“Things Get Ripe”

Over-ripe, if you ask me, well on the way to downright moldy.

Besides trying to just live their lives in these days of socioeconomic meltdown, which, Gawd knows, is hard enough, the people can barely sort out the seemingly malevolent intentions of the folks in-charge of the monster that government has become. And so, the question arises: are they actually trying to kill us all, or are they so corrupt and stupid that everything they touch falls apart?  In other words, is it mastermindery or clusterfuckery?

No reason it can’t be both: a somewhat cunning but too-ambitious Grand Plan, incompetently implemented by halfwit mediocrities overawed by their own delusions of brilliance, is the trademark of all government.

On the former side, you have that gallery of international villains out of the James Bond playbook: Bill Gates, Klaus Schwab, and George Soros — megalomaniacs armed with mega-money, a sho’nuff recipe for trouble — representing the emergence of a world-saving regime, in concert with lackey national leaderships. Their narrative goes like this: humans have over-replicated, like maggots in a trash can, they’re wrecking the planet and gobbling (our) resources, and we must find a way to get rid of them that looks like a natural catastrophe so the hidden powers-that-be don’t get blamed for pulling a global Auschwitz. Hence Covid-19 and the sketchy vaccinations. (“The Great Reset.” You will be dead and you will like it!)

I must say, I don’t go for that story, even if that trio have played their parts in some wicked doings du jour. Rather, I subscribe to the latter scenario: the likelihood that we’re in a pile-up of quandaries that we can only pretend to manage, and that all our pretenses of control and management only make things worse, while making a mockery of human ingenuity. This does not rule out an element of personal greed and attempted power-mongering, but look, for instance, at where all that has left the hapless Dr. Tony Fauci.

Not only did he finance the development of the Covid-19 virus so he could heroically bring forth a super-vax to the awe of mankind, and gain a niche in the pantheon of Great Men in History (plus make a buck on his share of the vax patents), but he screwed up the public health messaging so badly that Science itself now looks like a mere evil racket instead of the great achievement it used to be. His reputation is shot and he could end his days in an orange jump suit doing Chinese fire drills up and down the exercise court at Lewisburg Federal Penitentiary.

Not even remotely likely. Truth is, Herr Doktor Kommissar Faulsi remains in his comfy sinecure, grotesquely overpaid and enjoying wielding his undeserved and illegitimate power over the Serf Class entirely too much.

Anyway, the Covid-19 story is now utterly unraveling and the official actions around it look desperately idiotic. It’s back to mass mask-ups and maybe even lockdowns. But don’t get the idea that those mRNA vaccines turned out to have a short half-life — though it kind of looks like they did. In which case, why the panicky rush to get absolutely everybody vaxed up? And how’s that working? I’ll tell you how: only with last-ditch attempts at totalitarian intimidation…you will have no rights to earn a living, go out in public, buy anything, or even protest on the street about any of these insults to human dignity.

Last-ditch they may be, and hopefully are, God willing. Even so, you maybe don’t want to suggest the scam is “utterly unraveling” to any of the vast multitude even now sweating bullets over being forced by their employers, under threat of losing their jobs, to submit to a role as lab rats in a dangerous experiment they would far rather not participate in. The false narrative’s overdue unraveling is coming way too late to do many of those who have been victimized by it any good, and those victims aren’t likely to take too kindly to any premature victory laps before the checkered flag has been waved.

Mrs. Pelosi, meanwhile, is busy orchestrating her national sob story to prove that half the country are domestic terrorists for trespassing in her office and need to be cancelled, especially the former president behind that dastardly “insurrection” — against whom criminal referrals will be shortly forthcoming to Merrick Garland’s Department of Justice. As if… one can only think.

As if, that is, the half of America not lost in the transports of Wokery and fantasies of half-assed communism are going to roll over for it. Please, pull the pin on that grenade, Nancy, you demented, deliquescing old jade! America has had enough of you, and your mendacious machinations, and of your sidekick, the sham president “Joe Biden” and his pitiful mummeries in the service of a claque that wants to destroy what little remains of the public interest and our national honor. You have no idea, Nancy, how all this is going to blow up in your face and leave you a figure of historic odium.

The salutary example of Marie Antoinette seems to merit a mention right about now, I do believe.

Meanwhile, events churn relentlessly in the background…especially the bankruptcy of America (the Western World, really), and the unappetizing effect that will have on our standard-of-living…and the terrifying momentum of election audits that will prompt a national crisis of confidence as summer stumbles into fall…and drought, crop failures, supply-line breaks, and food shortages coming down…and hundreds of thousands of third world mutts jumping the southern border…and the very real possibility that China will just go ahead and snatch Taiwan while our pussified US military hollers “no fair” from a safe distance…

I tell you, this is some ripe moment. We are spinning into pandemonium.

Actually, we’re not so much “spinning” into it; we’re being driven there—with malice aforethought, by purblind, bumbling fools who have not the vaguest clue as to where this is all leading but refuse, in their maniacal arrogance, to even consider altering course.

I’m with him

Like I said last night: At this late stage of the game, any of us using the word “fight” metaphorically or rhetorically is doin’ it wrong. If “fight” to you means debate, lawsuits, voting, and “peaceful protest”—AND ABSOLUTELY NOTHING MORE—then you’re already defeated, and might as well just shut up and go home already.

Every day I see comments to the effect of “write your Congressman, write your Senator, write your City Council,” write everyone you can to beg and plead for your freedom. I used to laugh every time I would see a comment like that, now it angers and saddens me.

You know why this government isn’t even hiding their evil intentions or anything else for that matter anymore? Because it’s been well over a year since “two weeks to flatten the curve” and we haven’t dragged them out of their cozy little government offices and strung them up from the lamp post for the whole world to see. We have allowed this pandemic, that is not a pandemic, to be used against us and we have done nothing. So why wouldn’t this evil government continue to rape us on a daily basis. Now they want to forcibly inject a poison into our bodies, or separate society based on vaxxed status, and it seems that the best idea anyone can come up with on how to combat it is to write the evil bastards and beg them not to do it. Brilliant!

People are holding out hope for the election audits also. I forget how many times information was to come out now but I have yet to see anything happen. And it never will. The only thing these audits will prove is what we already know, they stole our country from us. Do you really think they are going to walk away from the power they have stolen willingly? There is only one way out of this and you know deep down what that way is.

Everyone needs to face up to something. We are at War! If you think being nice and playing by the rules with this evil government is going to bring peace and unity, you are sorely mistaken. They will continue to walk all over you until their boots are covered with your blood. It’s not pleasant to think about. Dark days are here and yet all I hear is that we need to continue to petition our representatives and vote harder. They shouldn’t be referred to as representatives anymore because they haven’t represented us for some time now.

If you think you are going to vote these bastards out next go round then we’ve already lost. Any issues from the previous elections been solved? Nope, just more of the same to come. We need to start thinking about actually fighting for Freedom. Remember these people want us dead. This is a fight to the death and right now we’re pretty much letting them know we’re not even in the fight. We need to quit playing by the rules because they sure as hell aren’t. The rule of law is dead and we need to start acting accordingly.

It all boils down to this, There Is No Voting Our Way Out Of This! Once you accept that and understand what that means, then you are mentally prepared for what lies ahead, other than that you are living in fantasy land.

There are very difficult days ahead of us, and difficult decisions to be made by all. This forced injection of a government poison into our bodies, just to do business, will be the spark that lights this fire off. It’s funny because all this time many thought that it would be when they came for the guns. I’ve made my peace with my decisions. I know what I am willing to do. It’s hard to believe we are alive at this moment in history, but it is what we were born for. Harden your hearts. Business it seems is about to pick up.

He’s right, right down the line, and you know he is. You might not like it—in fact, you shouldn’t; no sane, decent, humane person should—but that doesn’t change a thing. It’s tragic that we’ve come to this, but…well, here we all are.

Just say no

As CA often says, the only way out is through. And the only way through is vehement, open, and unyielding defiance.

Americans, Choose Freedom and Take Off the Mask
The collapse of personal autonomy and individual agency in the face of an onslaught of punitive, soul-corroding COVID-19 restrictions has been perhaps the most frightening and depressing development in modern American history. Given its minuscule—barely a blip above normal—death toll, COVID-19 is as close to a hoax as can be imagined. Advertised relentlessly as the second coming of the Black Death, it is instead the New Coke of viral diseases.

The damage it has done, however, is still considerable—not to the nation’s health but to its economy and, more important, to its psyche. Our country of yeoman farmers began disappearing into urbanism in the aftermath of the Civil War, but it was not until the twin catastrophes of World Wars I and II that authoritarian collectivism began to supplant personal initiative and liberty.

The postwar injection of Marxist poison by the red-diaper scholars of the Frankfurt School into our educational system is now serving to finish the transformation of our country into a third-rate, 1930s socialist fantasy.

Gee, if one didn’t know better, one might almost suspect it had been done to us deliberately or something. But no no no, that’s just ridiculous.

Whether the CCP virus was deliberately weaponized in Wuhan, China, and then unleashed upon an unsuspecting world, the fact remains that it has resulted in the most destructive assault on the American economy—and, more importantly, the nature of the American people—in our national history. It cries out for retribution and revenge.

A. Fucking. MEN. If you’ll bring the tar, I’ll bring the feathers. Someone else will need to take care of the pitchforks, torches, and rope. I only got two hands, y’know.

Along the way, and in addition to making healthy Americans fear a relatively minor threat to their personal health, Fauci has managed to destroy our essential humanity, our joie de vivre, our love of our fellow man, the small, human pleasures of life and, almost as a byproduct of his misanthropy, the Trump administration itself. The former president’s extension of a bully pulpit to a power-mad bureaucrat was the greatest blunder of his presidency, one from which it will take us years to recover unless we act with great vigor immediately.

Maybe the greatest, but probably not by all that much. Which, frankly, has had me wondering about a few other things of late, all of them highly unpleasant.

From the start, it was obvious that slogans such as “two weeks to flatten the curve” were meaningless, and that once the entrenched lifers at the plethora of federal agencies to whom the American people have unwittingly surrendered their sovereignty tasted their first bite of untrammeled and almost wholly illegal power, they would never ever, ever, ever, ever let us go. And they haven’t.

A handful of us lowly blogger-types warned of exactly that; believe me, I for one take no pleasure whatsoever in having been proven correct. Many of my blogosphere colleagues and compadres were taken in by the charade, which at the time and under the circumstances was at least understandable. But after what we’ve seen the last year and a half, all sentient Americans should know better by now. There is no longer any need of further evidence to confirm whether our governments—ALL of them, at EVERY level—can be entrusted with American rights, liberties, and lives, even “temporarily.” We have all we’ll ever need, and then some. There is no excuse ford

At this point, no one in his right mind would either get the shots or wear a mask. No one with any dignity and true American spirit, that is.

The solution, as always on the intellectually imported left, is blunt force. It doesn’t matter that the remedies are illogical—wear a mask to enter a restaurant, remove it to dine three feet away—arbitrary and whimsically applied. I’m happy to report many people here are simply ignoring the latest local government “mandate,” especially since the L.A. sheriff, Alex Villanueva, has said his department won’t enforce the entirely senseless edict.

Walsh is right when uses the term “blunt force”—righter than he knows himself, as he promptly goes on to demonstrate.

Just say no. No to further mandates. No to vaccine “passports.” No to the drumbeat of fear porn by the NY Times, NPR, and other statist media outlets with a vested ideological interest in keeping the population crippled by fear. No to the petty tyrants of state and local municipalities who blithely disregard their own unscientific nostrums while inflicting them on everybody else.

No to a “science” that is promulgated by fiat and fear. No to unconstitutional restrictions on freedom of speech by fascist social media; no to the closing of churches and temples; no to ukases against freedom of religion and assembly. No to superannuated careerists such as Fauci, no to intrusive government agencies such as the CDC, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and the unconscionably long list of other government agencies who are all feasting on the “pandemic.”

Do you want to do an experiment? Fine, let’s try this one: it’s called freedom, whatever the consequences. Some might die so that the rest of us may live—but we will no longer live in artificial fear. Remind the swamp creatures that the rights enumerated or reserved to the people in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights were given by God, and not by the State. Remind them that we—not they—are the boss.

And then fire them. Defy them, primary them, recall them, toss them out of office.

Sigh. So close, and then…he augers right into a fiery crash ‘n’ burn with this tired, flaccid same-old-same-old insisting that we “defy them” via elections that are proven fraudulent; political processes that are obviously rigged; and legal maneuvering in courts whose corrupt and/or politicized judges and prosecutors will brazenly twist every law and precedent for use against us. It’s just depressing at this point, that’s what.

Take off your masks and chuck them in the trash. Breathe the fresh air of free men and women, citizens of a Republic in which the people, not the doctors or the politicians, are sovereign. Teach them the hard way that the founding virtues of this country were defiance, not subordination; bravery, not cowardice; individuality, not socialism; freedom, not slavery.

The hard way is indeed the only way they’ll ever be taught. Alas, the hard way does NOT include strongly worded letters, lawsuits, and voting harderer at them. We’re well past that point now; those options were tried, and they all failed spectacularly. Even massive peaceful protest proved inadequate to address the “long train of abuses and usurpations” to which Real Americans have been wantonly subjected. And now, even that has been turned into a weapon to be wielded against us. They’ve left us with but a single option—a most dangerous, destructive, painful, and costly one.

The nature of the corner they’ve forced us into is that you have to fight your way out of it. It’s the only possible way. And that’s fight, not “fight”—literally, explicitly, physically. At this late stage of the game, any of us using it metaphorically or rhetorically is doin’ it wrong. Sorry to make anybody out there uncomfortable, but that’s just the way it is.

Tyranny comes to your house

It’s roosting on our friend Wes’s doorstep even now.

Yesterday a news headline came to my attention that will affect mine and my families lives.

Charlotte hospitals announce mandatory COVID vaccine requirement for all employees

Charlotte hospital systems Atrium Health and Novant Health will begin requiring all workers get the COVID-19 vaccinations, hospital officials confirmed Thursday.

Atirum Health will require all workers — including remote workers, physicians, medical residents, faculty, fellows, trainees, contractors, medical staff, students, temporary workers and volunteer staff — to get vaccinated or have an approved medical or religious exemption by Oct. 31.

And Novant Health will require the same for all of its employees, contractors, vendors and students by Sept. 15.

My wife is a NICU Nurse and a damn good one. She loves saving babies. She doesn’t want to take the jab and refuses to take this experimental poison.

The fight it seems has now landed at my door. Will anyone help me? Or is it just my problem since your lives aren’t affected by this decision. I’ve got many friends whose wives are nurses and I heard from many of them yesterday. “What do we do?” was the question I was asked. The first option is to try for the religious exemption. Not sure how that is going to go over though with over half of their staff trying to claim it. Hospitals already don’t have enough staff for their patients, what happens when they lose even more staff due to the refusal to take their mandated poison? The second option? Well let’s just say they hope we don’t have to go there. Honestly though, the second option for me is the first, if you know what I mean.

The time to throw down draws near. Sooner or later it’s going to affect us all. All major employers will end up mandating the poison as a condition of employment, due to pressure from TPTB. Or how about if you have to have it to collect Social Security, unemployment, or just being a government employee. I’m tired of waiting for trouble to come to my door. Sadly they are slowly but surely backing good people into a corner. Trouble is here America, and 99% of the people have no clue how bad things can and will get.

Wes is one of a handful of blogosphere colleagues and allies I regularly correspond with; I know him as a good guy and consider him a friend, although we haven’t met face to face. The predicament he now finds himself in is extremely upsetting, even moreso since he’s also literally a neighbor of mine, located no more than 15-20 miles from where I live. Troubling doesn’t even BEGIN to cover it.

And that’s only the personal side of all this. Bottom line is, there’s some seriously unsavory shit going on, and it is now or soon will be on everyone’s agenda, not just one poor ol’ blogger and his spouse. The Überstate’s (Not)Vaxx goon squads are out and about, and they’re all around us. No matter who you are, no matter where you are, they’re coming for you. As Wes said, they are slowly but surely backing good people into a corner.

By now y’all know what I always say about these malefactors: They will not stop; they will have to BE stopped. As they relentlessly, arrogantly snatch all other options away from us one after another, we will soon find ourselves left with but one last, desperate resort. I don’t have to tell you folks what that is. I don’t know what I can possibly do to assist Wes, what any of us can do. What I DO know is that the inflection point, the hour of decision, is nigh upon us all. And none of us—not Wes, not me, not you —should have to face it alone.

Spicy time cometh, and that right soon. Gird your loins, people. Be ready.

Breaking down the breakdown

As I’ve said in a different but very much related context: a process, not an event.

How Breakdown Cascades Into Collapse
Maintaining the illusion of confidence, permanence and stability serves the interests of those benefiting from the bubbles and those who prefer the safety of the herd, even as the herd thunders toward the precipice.

The misconception that collapse is an all or nothing phenomenon is common: Either the system rights itself with a bit of money-printing and rah-rah or it collapses into post-industrial ruin and gangs are battling over the last stash of canned beans.

Neither scenario considers the fragility and resilience of the socio-economic system as a whole. It is both far more fragile than the believers in the permanence of the waste is growth model grasp and more resilient than the complete collapse prognosticators grasp.

The recent relatively mild logjams in global supply chains of essentials are mere glimpses of precariously fragile delivery-supply systems. These can be understood as bottlenecks that only insiders see, or as unstable nodes through which all the economy’s connections run. Put another way, the economy’s as a network appears decentralized and robust, but this illusion vanishes when we consider how the entire economy rests on a few unstable nodes.

One such node is the delivery of gasoline and fuels. It’s such an efficient and reliable system that 99.9% of us take it for granted: there will always be plenty of gasoline at every station, the tanks of jet fuel will always be topped off, and so on.

The 0.1% know that this system, once disrupted, would knock over dominoes all through the economy.

Hyper-efficiency and hyper-globalization has reduced the number of producers of essentials to the point that disruptions cannot be overcome with redundant sources. We see this everywhere in the global economy: a handful of plants and companies (sometimes a single source of essential components) process or manufacture essential components in much larger systems.

This is how you end up with thousands of newly manufactured vehicles parked in lots awaiting one critical part that is in short supply.

We’ve seen this movie before; we already know how it ends, or we should. Yet somehow, a great many of us seem unable—or unwilling, perhaps—to learn.

No, we won’t be getting those flying cars either

The future ain’t nearly as bright as it used to be.

When I was born in 1971, we were just two years removed from the first manned moon landing. There would be a total of six manned landings, all by Americans, from July of 1969 to a a few weeks before my first birthday. I was born at the peak of the age of space exploration. As a kid I remember watching the shuttle launches and I recall pretty vividly the Challenger disaster in 1986 while I was at school. Growing up we watched Star Trek on TV and saw Star WarsE.T. and Close Encounters of the Third Kind in the theater. It seemed to us that we were on the cusp of exploring space, a new age of discovery where humankind would escape the bonds of earth, conquer the stars and perhaps even make contact with aliens! The future was bright.

As a child in the 1970s and 80s, 2020 seemed like a long way into the distant future and while we couldn’t predict what that would bring, it was assumed it would bring a progressively better society and that space exploration and great technological achievement would make life immeasurably better. Colonies on the moon and even Mars were just assumed to be the natural near-future next steps.

Instead we get billionaire vanity projects.

Space is no longer the final frontier, at least not for the bulk of humanity. It will become the playground for the ultra-wealthy. According to Space.com, seats on Branson’s Virgin Galactic will run around $250,000 each. There are lots of people who can afford that but the vast majority of humanity will not. As chaos descends on the world, can we be far from seeing space colonies where the wealthy can flee from the devastation? The proles will be ordered to drive tiny electric cars to “save the environment” while the ultra-rich blast off on huge rockets to take selfies in space, just like we will be told to eat the bugs to reduce our climate footprint while the rich eat steak.

That starry eyed kid I used to be in the 1970s is facing the ugly reality of life in the 2020s. It isn’t a bright future for humanity but a slow war of attrition that a small cabal of elites are winning.

I don’t dream about space travel anymore, I just dream of a future where my family will be left alone. Even something that simple seems as fantastical as exploring the stars.

The Once-Great Nation status inflicted on us by the revanchist Left is not all it’s cracked up to be, not by a long yard. The ironic thing is that once we’re all fully and firmly settled in and resigned to a third-world lifestyle, they’re the ones who are going to be most miserable living it. Pretty much everything that makes Proggie’s preferred big-city, citizen-of-the-world living arrangement so appealing to him—high-tech personal electronic gadgetry; reliable and affordable household electricity, powering advanced appliances and conveniences; ubiquitous Internet access points, most of them free of charge; ethnic restaurants; a fulsome glut of entertainment/nightlife choices; trucked-in fresh fruit and vegetables, &c—will assuredly NOT be available in the dismal Neolithic-era civilization they so shrilly advocate.

As always, Leftist useful idiots blithely assume that they’ll be exempt from the privation and disaster created by their ideological and political preferences—that their delusional self-definition as the Good, Smart, and Moral Ones forever immunizes them against the consequences of their own unworkable stupidity. Our only consolation is that, as they find themselves blindfolded and marched over to be put against the wall and shot down like dogs—UNEXPECTEDLY!!!™—the looks of shock and disbelief on their once-hopeful faces are always priceless. Happens every time.

Love Desire wins!

The mopping-up phase of the Culture Wars is upon us, when the victors walk the field shooting enemy wounded.

Some still have hope the war can be won, as seen in this headline: “Christopher Rufo says he’s outmaneuvering ‘hostile media’ on [Caucasians Require Termination]: Most people ‘on our side’”.

Rufo is right the majority of people are against teaching Caucasians Require Termination (CRT), but that counts for little, because in wars the side with the more powerful weapons win. Teachers unions, for instance, have already vowed to continue promoting the evilness of whites in spite of any rules against it. True, the baizuo pushing this might come to grief when it is realized they are white, too, but for now, they are triumphant.

All rulers and Experts say “Diversity is our strength”. There is no state more conducive to turmoil than Diversity. And maximal Diversity is CRT.

Think on it. There isn’t any major entity, from religion to education to business to government, that is not now in the hands of the Enemies of Reality. Their victory would now be complete were it not that the victors are a minority of persons. And because Reality must continuously be fought. You will have to repeat forever, and with great force, that men can be women or it will soon be disbelieved.

The 2020 election functioned as a tearing down of the Berlin Wall, a visible symbol of the futility of continuing the war. Regular readers will recall how we tried to fight the Fortifying, as they victors called it. But we lost. The truism that history is written by the victors will apply here, and has been applying to our memories for some time. The statues of great men like Lee fall to the cheers of Desirists, to be replaced by those celebrating the wastes of society.

Some, like Ed West, are painting the end of the war as not much more than a regime switch. When Reality ruled, busybody aunts, the Karens of their day, kept public morality in line. Now, with Desire the soon-to-be-victor, busybody aunts, the Karens of our day, will perform the same duty. This is nothing more than the commonplace observation that women in societies do most of the morals policing.

He says, “The revolutionaries were always going to create new rituals, new speech codes and new forms of censorship. England has changed a huge deal since our great victory in 1966, but in many ways it has barely changed at all.”

Of course it is true that public morals will be monitored and maintained. That is a constant. Somebody’s beliefs must be imposed and others’ shunned, canceled, or even censored. It’s that the wrong side’s views are now imposed.

West is right, however, when he explains how moral relativism was one of the weapons of war wielded with great success by the Desirists. “Relativism is a position you employ when you’re weak, to be abandoned when you win.” It is more than clear that it has been abandoned in their victory. The woke are all vehement moralists.

We know that we have lost because their morality has become official. Yet we also know that we cannot accept it.

So how to fight? First, save yourself and your family. Then think about your neighbor. Then think about your neighborhood and village. Then think about your county, then your state or region. Worry last about the country as a whole. As they move towards nationalizing everything and then toward supra-state governance, there will be less and less you can do about the state anyway.

Do you really think they’ll let you vote your way out of this at the national level?

Those still foolish or blind enough to believe that the systemic corruption of our “elections” only began in 2020 (CLUE: it did not) notwithstanding, it’s plain to more sentient types among us that free, fair, and honest US elections have long since been no more than a myth—a comforting fantasy naifs cling to as a toddler does his passie, his teddy bear, and his blankie. Of all the aphorisms, folks sayings, and old saws in existence, there’s probably none more apposite to Amerika v2.0 than this one: If voting could really change anything, it would be illegal.

The unbridgeable abyss

The parable of the wolf and the dog is entirely too apt.

French poet Jean de la Fontaine elegantly illustrated the human condition through his Fables, one of which named “The Wolf and the Dog” involves a famished wolf who spotted a well-fed guard dog and conversed with him, since the dog was too healthy to be an easy prey.

The guard dog tells the wolf to leave the forest and come work for the dog’s masters in return for abundant food, shelter, and the occasional pat on the head. The wolf seems almost convinced but then notices the dog’s collar.

“What is that?,” he asks the dog.

“Oh, that,” says the dog. “It’s just my leash… my masters tie me up when they don’t need me to guard their livestock.”

The wolf is horrified: “You mean you are not allowed to run the hills and go wherever you like?”

“Well, no, but what’s so important about that,” says the dog. “As long as I’m fed, sheltered and looked after?”

And the wolf replies as he backs away, “I don’t mind spending some of my days on an empty stomach and would never surrender my freedom for any treasure.”

There are two kinds of people whose respective worldviews clash for dominance: those who value the immaterial and those who value the material. The latter seems to be the more popular side.

T’was ever thus, and t’will ever be. Now perhaps more than ever it’s crucial for Team Liberty to keep that inescapable reality in mind; it’s just part of the human condition, really, and the abyss it represents will forever yawn before us. Big-picture-wise, it all boils down to the eternal conflict between A) the fearful Many, who are eager to place their fates in the hands of (what they hope will turn out to be) a benelovent master; and B) the doughty Few, who prefer to seek their own path, run their own lives, and forge their own destiny with as little interference from or supervision by official authority as possible.

It is virtually impossible to argue with the pro-vaccine passport people and vice versa because we simply are two distinct kinds of people and such people cannot agree on anything because their priorities are radically different. Those against the vaccine passport and microchips inserted in our bodies are merely arguing for individual freedom and the right to be free to make decisions concerning our own bodies.

These people (the pro vaccine passport types) do not want to consider that the passport is a proxy, a method to filter out the compliant from the non-compliant, most probably for later punishment by this world’s corporate overlords. Those obedient will have their vaccine passport to show and will be left to placidly graze the corporate fields of consumerism.

At the same time the passport will serve to designate those who do not carry it as de facto diseased, to be avoided, shunned, and persecuted, even though no proof exists that they are either ill or are voluntarily spreading any disease. If you do not have a vaccine passport, you are a criminal. Period.

Our corporate overlords assume we are just like them, evil inside and out, and intent on harming others by spreading contagious illnesses like Covid.

Disagree. I think they perceive us not as “like them” at all, but simply as sheep to be herded, corraled, and sheared. I strongly doubt there are many, if any, of those corporate types who aren’t fully awake to the Fauxvid scam by now. Make no mistake, folks: as with their government partners in crime, the “concern” of those corporate overlords in no way involves keeping anybody from harm. It’s about keeping everybody corraled, submissive, and under their control.

Found via a commenter here, who quips “I am a trans-vaxxite. (I am not vaccinated but identify as vaccinated. And if you do not like it, you are a trans-phobe. Let us use their methods against them.)” Heh. I’m with ya all the way on that one, Alex.

Carpe De Nation

Kunstler would kind of like his country back.

Something tells me there are still too many sane people with a sense of humor left in this tormented land for the flunkies of “progressive” Wokery to achieve the total control they seek over the hundred-million, give or take, who are starting to think: Y’know, I’d kind of like my country back. And what country was that? It was the country we were before the Intel “Community” took over, in the service of an utterly corrupt political elite running the system like it was their personal cash register.

About that country I would like back… for starters, the country that valued the rule-of-law. Yes, I know, that’s awfully high-toned — the rule of law — as if one is invoking some clichéd bronze blindfolded babe in a negligee, hoisting a scale in one hand and a sword in the other. I’m thinking, rather, of a flesh-and-blood judge, perhaps a corpulent fellow with bad knees, of, say, the DC federal court, who would dare to throw out the malicious political prosecution of figures like General Flynn or the journalist Julian Assange… or an FBI that would make a criminal referral for sedition against Senator Mark Warner… or a newspaper editor who might be interested in the connection between Marc Elias’s Lawfare outfit at Perkins Coie and the Central Intelligence Agency. One could go on endlessly with the pungent hypotheticals. So much evil mischief has not been seen in one polity since Berlin, 1938.

Anyway, the country we live in now no longer observes the rule of law because it has become a security state like the former Soviet bloc states, with a rogue Intel “Community” that has hijacked the truck that the wheels of justice run on. Here’s a thought: do we know for sure whether the CIA might have been involved in the late, lamentable 2020 election? Wow, that’s outside the box! But, hey, why not? Think of all the fakery they are so capable of engineering, and consider how avid they were to get rid of that pain-in-the-ass Donald Trump (who wanted to get rid of them!), and also consider that there is really no check on their activities whatsoever because the supervising authorities are 1) Adam Schiff’s House Intel Committee (bwaha!), and 2) the aforementioned seditious scoundrel Mark Warner’s Senate Intel Committee. These two are so owned by the CIA that they must have a standing weekly TGIF session to peel grapes for the C-suite at Langley.

Some savvy 2020 election skeptics are pointing at China as possibly having interfered in the election that installed their pre-paid errand-boy “Joe Biden” in the White House — but what if the real action was actually closer to home? And why wouldn’t the CIA queer the election and then set up China to take the blame, since China is already in America’s dog-house for gifting the world with SARS-Covid-19 and its lovely variants? Just wondering… just asking… maybe the thought has crossed your mind, too.

Have you groked that the virus affords such wonderful opportunities for exercising state coercion over a spooked public? Just yesterday, Sec’y of Health and Human Services Xavier Becerra declared that it is, “absolutely the government’s business to know who’s been vaccinated.” Of course, it’s as much the public’s business to know what the correct figure is for Covid cases and deaths, as well as adverse mRNA reactions and deaths. And, just for instance, two counties in California recently revised down their overall case numbers for the whole virus melodrama by 20 percent — so many cases were just hospitals gaming the federal bureaucracy for higher subsidy pay-outs keyed to the virus. And, after a month of getting bashed around for lying about this and that, America’s chief Covid-19 health officer, Anthony Fauci (“The Science”) has gone back on cable TV telling the country to “get over it.” Their vax “hesitancy,” he means. Why would anyone besides the sebaceous Chris Hayes on MSNBC believe him?

Another feature about the country I would like back is the freedom to live without the harassment of Woked-up useful idiots working day and night to destroy the very meaning of language while hustling American culture, tradition, and heritage into its “anti-racist” gas chamber.

Yeah, well, hate to have to bring it up and all, but there’s only one way THAT is ever going to happen; as has been demonstrated for us time and again, ad infinitum ad nauseum, they’re never going to stop. Which brings us back around once more to the ultimate question: exactly how much DO we want our country back, anyways?

Comments policy

NOTE: In order to comment, you must be registered and approved as a CF user. Since so many user-registrations are attempted by spam-bots for their own nefarious purposes, YOUR REGISTRATION MAY BE ERRONEOUSLY DENIED.

If you are in fact a legit hooman bean desirous of registering yourself a CF user name so as to be able to comment only to find yourself caught up as collateral damage in one of my irregularly (un)scheduled sweeps for hinky registration attempts, please shoot me a kite at the email addy over in the right sidebar and let me know so’s I can get ya fixed up manually.

ALSO NOTE: You MUST use a valid, legit email address in order to successfully register, the new anti-spam software I installed last night requires it. My thanks to Barry for all his help sorting this mess out last night.

Comments appear entirely at the whim of the guy who pays the bills for this site and may be deleted, ridiculed, maliciously edited for purposes of mockery, or otherwise pissed over as he in his capricious fancy sees fit. The CF comments section is pretty free-form and rough and tumble; tolerance level for rowdiness and misbehavior is fairly high here, but is NOT without limit.

Management is under no obligation whatever to allow the comments section to be taken over and ruined by trolls, Leftists, and/or other oxygen thieves, and will take any measures deemed necessary to prevent such. Conduct yourself with the merest modicum of decorum, courtesy, and respect and you'll be fine. Pick pointless squabbles with other commenters, fling provocative personal insults, issue threats, or annoy the host (me) and...you won't.

Should you find yourself sanctioned after running afoul of the CF comments policy as stated and feel you have been wronged, please download and complete the Butthurt Report form below in quadruplicate; retain one copy for your personal records and send the others to the email address posted in the right sidebar.

Please refrain from whining, sniveling, and/or bursting into tears and waving your chubby fists around in frustrated rage, lest you suffer an aneurysm or stroke unnecessarily. Your completed form will be reviewed and your complaint addressed whenever management feels like getting around to it. Thank you.

FREEDOM!!!

"There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters."
Daniel Webster

“When I was young I was depressed all the time. But suicide no longer seemed a possibility in my life. At my age there was very little left to kill.”

“The illusion of freedom will continue as long as it’s profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will just take down the scenery, they will pull back the curtains, they will move the tables and chairs out of the way and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theater.”
Frank Zappa

“The right of a nation to kill a tyrant in case of necessity can no more be doubted than to hang a robber, or kill a flea.”
John Adams

"A society of sheep must in time beget a government of wolves."
Bertrand de Jouvenel

"It is terrible to contemplate how few politicians are hanged."
GK Chesterton

"I predict that the Bush administration will be seen by freedom-wishing Americans a generation or two hence as the hinge on the cell door locking up our freedom. When my children are my age, they will not be free in any recognizably traditional American meaning of the word. I’d tell them to emigrate, but there’s nowhere left to go. I am left with nauseating near-conviction that I am a member of the last generation in the history of the world that is minimally truly free."
Donald Sensing

"The only way to live free is to live unobserved."
Etienne de la Boiete

"History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid."
Dwight D. Eisenhower

"To put it simply, the Left is the stupid and the insane, led by the evil. You can’t persuade the stupid or the insane and you had damn well better fight the evil."

"There is no better way to stamp your power on people than through the dead hand of bureaucracy. You cannot reason with paperwork."
David Black, from Turn Left For Gibraltar

"If the laws of God and men, are therefore of no effect, when the magistracy is left at liberty to break them; and if the lusts of those who are too strong for the tribunals of justice, cannot be otherwise restrained than by sedition, tumults and war, those seditions, tumults and wars, are justified by the laws of God and man."
John Adams

"The limits of tyranny are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress."
Frederick Douglass

"Give me the media and I will make of any nation a herd of swine."
Joseph Goebbels

“I hope we once again have reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. There’s a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: As government expands, liberty contracts.”
Ronald Reagan

"Ain't no misunderstanding this war. They want to rule us and aim to do it. We aim not to allow it. All there is to it."
NC Reed, from Parno's Peril

"I just want a government that fits in the box it originally came in."
