“We are moving into very dark times, and government tyranny is only going to get worse”

Truer words were never spoke. But I still do have a nit or two to pick, surprising exactly no one.

We Are Now Entering Full-Blown Tyranny In The Western World

Um, dude, not to put too fine a point on this and all, but…ENTERING?!?

If we accept what they are doing to us now, they are just going to keep pushing the envelope. Over the past 12 months, authorities throughout the western world have used the pandemic as an excuse to impose Orwellian measures that we never would have accepted during normal times. They are promising us that these measures are just “temporary”, but the pandemic has already been with us for a year and there are no signs that it is going away any time soon. If those governing us are willing to go to such ridiculous extremes during a relatively minor pandemic, what are they going to be willing to do once things start getting really crazy?

I have a sinking feeling we’re going to find out, and without much in the way of further ado, either. Western mettle has been tested, and found very much wanting. The board has been set; the pieces are in position. The Enemy’s opening gambit was more successful than they even dreamed it might be, and there’s no reason at all for further delay on their part.

Out of 4.4 million people living in Alberta, there have only been 2,013 deaths, and about half of those were among people 80 years of age or older.

If it isn’t safe to go to church, why are hordes of Canadians allowed to circulate through retail establishments every single day of the week?

If churches should be shut down, you would think that Wal-Mart, Costco and Canadian Tire should be shut down too.

But they aren’t shut down.

In better days, that’s what sturdier men used to call a “dead giveaway.”

I know that a lot of you don’t want to hear this, but the pandemic is with us to stay.

And that means that the Orwellian measures that are being put in place are with us to stay too.

Orwellian measures were the whole point of the exercise, as I’ve maintained right from jump. This is not about a virus. It was NEVER about a virus. It was about finding out whether or not at least somewhat free people would accept the bit. They did, most of them not grudgingly but eagerly. And now, unless they find some way to spit it out, they’re going to choke on it.

From American Dream to American Nightmare

Fundamental Transformation, no kind of accident, with plenty enough blame to go around.

For most of the ninety years since James Truslow Adams coined the term American Dream, most Americans still believed the fairy tale of the American Dream, that no matter how humble your beginnings, everyone had a fair chance to become a success in America, based upon your individual talent, intelligence, work ethic and a society that rewarded those who exceled. Sadly, that dream is no longer achievable for most Americans. Our society has devolved into an oligarchy since The Epic of America was published in 1931, where a powerful few rule over a willfully ignorant many through propaganda, mistruth, fear, and an iron fist.

The real questions are why did the American dream turn into an American nightmare and is there a pathway back to the kind of country our forefathers created? There are numerous reasons why the country has fallen far from its original conception as a proud defiant Republic to its current state as a dying empire of depravity, decay, debt, and decadence. The conspiratorial creation of the Federal Reserve and implementation of a Federal income tax in 1913 marked a true destructive turning point for America.

Our world is now ruled by a tyrannical few who have used the system, created by their class, to accumulate immense wealth and power, sustained by a government they manipulate by buying politicians and having their cronies and thugs write and enforce the laws. The misinformation, propaganda, and fake news dished out by a mainstream media, owned, and controlled by the ruling oligarchy, creates a smokescreen to obscure who wields the true power in this country. The Deep State is no longer a looney conspiracy theory, but the reality of how this country is now controlled and run.

Radical Communist professors infest our universities. With 76% of K-12 teachers being female, the feminization of boys from twelve years of indoctrination has been unavoidable. They have been forced to feel and emote, rather than think, question and experience life outside prison classrooms. When boys act like boys, they are diagnosed by women as having ADHD and immediately drugged into submission. School is now a detriment to learning and irrelevant to a person attaining wisdom and understanding.

Irrelevant, hell. It’s an actual, active obstacle.

The rot within our educational system does not appear to be a mistake. It seems to be a calculated goal of those controlling the system. Our overlords want obedient, easily manipulated, non-questioning, conformist, robotic consumers of material goods who believe debt equals wealth, the family unit is irrelevant, systematic racism is real, there are 65 genders, a flu with a 99.7% survival rate is a reason to surrender their remaining freedoms and liberties, and an all-knowing benevolent government is here to help them.

The dystopian American nightmare into which we are descending is not solely the fault of the globalist cabal. Americans need to look in the mirror and honestly assess their role in this plunge into madness. The once independent, self-sufficient individualists that populated this country have become dependent, government reliant, materialistic, quivering shadows of the patriots and frontiersmen who created this country.

In the name of safety and security, the American people have allowed their government to accumulate complete control over every aspect of our lives. The American Dream has become a nightmare as we have allowed individualism, materialism, and selfish greed to override our duty to be good citizens, good fathers, good mothers, good neighbors, and going as far as our ability and hard work would take us.

Up until 1913, the American Dream, where every person had the opportunity to live a richer and fuller life, was achievable.  Up until that time, every generation born in this country had an excellent chance to live a better life than their parents. Relentless progress was the American way. Based on the actions of those controlling the direction of this country, I doubt my three sons will live a richer and fuller life than myself. The debts are too extreme, the military overreach too excessive, the looting by the financial class too great, the political corruption too extensive, suppression of truth speech too stifling, and opportunities too few.

The dream of a social order where everyone could rise to the highest level of their capabilities, regardless of their birth, has been systematically crushed by those who prefer the masses to be debt slaves doing the menial labor necessary to keep their money-making machine running. With all out assaults on the First, Second and Fourth Amendments by those who find the U.S. Constitution inconvenient to their despotic intentions, time is running out for those who still believe in and will fight for their country.

We have ignored our obligation to the past and the future. The Founding Fathers created an imperfect Republic. Ben Franklin knew its future depended upon the people administering it well. The founders did not want a national religion to be misrepresented as keeping religion out of America. The Founders were religious men. They believed religion and morality were vital to the country, being administered in a moral ethical way and guided by a code of conduct. As God, religion and morality have been disparaged by those in power we have moved further and further from the letter and spirit of the Constitution. Only a people with a strong moral backbone can be trusted to honor the Constitution.

The people have allowed the country to be corrupted by evil self-seeking men, and as a result, we are on a course towards despotism. We are descended from rebels and revolutionaries. The future of our country requires the restoration of that revolutionary spirit of dissent and opposition among a sufficient number of patriotic citizens, as there is no longer a chance to vote ourselves out of this predicament. Sadly, bloodshed will be required in any effort to regain control of our country. Time is growing short.

The author covers one hell of a lot of territory in this one, pulling together what could fairly be considered a politico-historical Theory Of Everything. It’s the deepest of deep dives, it’s lengthy, and it makes for some mighty uncomfortable reading in spots, which you should nonetheless do.

Darkness, falling

An extremely unflattering comparison.

Those old enough to remember the Cold War will recall, perhaps with some prompting, that the fight with the Soviets was as much a moral war as a political one. It was not that the communists were in error about some item in dispute. The communists were immoral because communism was immoral. Whatever the faults of liberal democracy, it was morally superior to the evils of communist totalitarianism.

At the time, this was not a tough case to make. Americans could speak out against the government, while Russians had to suffer in silence. The West had elections and big public spats over policy. Debate in the East was always behind the dreary walls of the communist party. Most important, the West did not have political prisoners, while the East operated camps, even small cities, for their dissidents.

A generation later and the roles are not exactly reversed, but it is now possible to argue that Russians are freer than Americans. Putin has his enemies jailed, but that’s now official policy in America. In the case of Putin, he does not relish in the torment of his opponents. There is some hint of shame there. In America, members of the regime take pleasure in tormenting those who speak out against them.

Take, for example, the case of Alexey Navalny, the CIA-sponsored critic of Putin who is now in jail. He claims poor treatment at the hands of the government, but he is able to speak to the media about it. In contrast, there are an unknown number of people in jail right now over the January protests. One was beaten by guards to the point where he lost sight in one eye.

Unlike with Alexey Navalny, The New York Times and The Washington Post are not demanding Ronald Sandlin be set free. The great and the good are not calling him a political prisoner, despite the fact he is literally in jail for politics. The folks who tell us “democracy dies in darkness” are happy that Ronald Sandlin now lives in darkness at the hands of the state. The political prisoners being held by the Biden regime envy Alexey Navalny.

It is not just at the extreme where the moral relationship has reversed. Russian citizens can walk up to the Kremlin and take pictures of it and themselves in front of it without fear of being shot by the army. Americans, on the other hand, will be sent to prison for daring such a radical act. People protest in Moscow all the time. As long as they are peaceful, they are left alone. Protest is banned in Washington now.

A generation ago, Americans knew they would win the Cold War, because they were right about the moral depravity of communism. Such a system could not last. The Soviet system did collapse, because devoid of moral authority, the cost of maintaining it eventually exceeded the benefits of the system. By the end, no one could think of a reason to sacrifice for the system or the people running it.

Americans are quickly approaching the same decision. As long as the material benefits are not threatened, most are happy to remain in their cells. At some point, though, the number of people no longer able to tell the good guys from the bad guys, the white hats from the black hats, will reach a critical mass. The ruling regime is burning what is left of its moral authority to fuel its hold on power. When the tank runs dry, they will join the communists in the dustbin of history.

There are other equally-invidious comparisons to be made, and to be learned from.

The parallels are so striking that one can wonder if there really is an unseen force guiding history along. Was there no one who might have stopped Hitler’s rise or the Russian revolution? Germany had no such person. Russia did. Pyotr Stolypin, though, was assassinated in 1911, and things just muddled along until Lenin and the communists took charge. Donald Trump in America tried heroically to stop the communists but failed. The left, controlling nearly all that matters in America, didn’t have to assassinate Trump to attain its goal.

Another interesting parallel works in reverse. Joe Biden best matches the pathetic Tsar Nicholas II, whom a coalition of liberals and socialists overthrew (before the Bolsheviks then overthrew them) to seize power and whose legacy is that of an uncomprehending fool. Biden came after the seizure of power by the Reds in Washington, but that hasn’t stopped him from modeling Tsar Nicholas’s foolishness. In fewer than three months, Joe’s incompetence has become legendary, bordering on comical.

Comical, only nobody’s laughing.

Ordinary people in 1917 Russia and 1933 Germany generally went about their business after monsters ascended to power. Perhaps they dreaded the future but had no way to change it or any idea of where things would go. It was probably best for them that they did not know. And so with us today.

“Best for them”? Well, back then, maybe. But only maybe, and only by a whisker. As the man says, in 1917 and 1933 the world didn’t have the benefit of a hundred-year record of death, impoverishment, and enslavement that are the inevitable products of Leftist ideology that we enjoy today. So people of that time can perhaps be given a pass for having been taken in by this extreme and inhuman ideology and all its evil works.

But today, we have no such excuse. Thus, I hardly think it can be considered “best” for anybody “not to know” their history. Actually, I consider such ignorance to be unforgivable, amounting to a crime which creates its own punishment—an extravagantly harsh punishment suffered by the deserving and the blameless alike. If we witness yet another nation stricken by this self-inflicted plague, no one who was either too mulish, too starry-eyed, or too just goddamned stupid to see what any even half-sentient soul could have told them was coming ought to be given a bye.

Time has come today

Or has it passed us by?

Liberty activist Ammon Bundy of Idaho is warning Americans that there’s little time left to turn back the tyranny that’s taking hold from authoritarian COVID-19 dictates.

Party affiliation seems to mean little across the country as, whether Democrat or Republican, few are willing to stand up for liberty, according to Bundy. Idaho Gov. Brad Little is a Republican, and the state is one of the largest GOP states in the nation.

“I’m getting tired. I’m about ready to say to hell with everybody. Literally, to hell with everybody,” Bundy said. “I’m tired of going to jail and standing up, and I’m grateful for the small amount of people who have stood up with me, but why can’t people see the danger of what is happening. I wish I would have never ever read a history book or the Constitution. That’s how I feel sometimes because then I could feel like ‘well, there’s no problem you know. I’ll just put on a mask. I’ll just comply. There’s no problem here.’”

Bundy added: “But no, these are serious things that have happened before over and over. These are not the beginnings. We’re in the middle to coming up to the end of basically when people lose complete power over themselves and over their freedom. And people just don’t seem to care. I’m not trying to be pessimistic or a downer, but we have to wake up. We have to wake up. I don’t want to live in a dictatorship any longer. I don’t want to pass this on to my children.”

Although a local story, Bundy said every American is facing similar tyranny.

“We’re in trouble, and Idaho’s not the only one doing this. Idaho’s not the only state doing this,” Bundy said. “Either I’m completely crazy or we’ve got a really, really big problem.”

Bundy added: “I’ve been trying to do my best on warning people and showing people and exposing people what this COVID is all about. It is about force. It is about taking the rights of the people away, you and I. They use it for everything, an excuse for everything. An excuse not to have a jury trial. An excuse not to have hearings. An excuse to completely trample on the rights of the people. An excuse to arrest you here and arrest you there. An excuse to destroy the liberties of the people of an entire state and then try to get immunity out of a special legislative session, and then an excuse to arrest people who show up, peacefully show up and just trying to make a difference.”

Whatever your opinion of Bundy may be—and there seems to be a fairly wide variance among ’em out there—he’s right about all this, and you know damned well he is. Supporting evidence:

In August of last year, Bundy was arrested and charged with trespassing twice within two days at the Idaho State Capitol in Boise. He, along with other liberty activists, were seeking to offer public comments during a special legislative session to oppose Little’s effort to “make himself immune from the COVID decisions and all the terrible things he’s done to Idaho,” Bundy said.

This came after Little gave himself control, via an executive order, over all federal dollars coming into the state concerning COVID-19 after the CARES Act was signed by former President Donald Trump. Bundy stated that Idaho has received at least $8.1 billion from the federal government, and Little has effectively declared martial law by stating “all the government of Idaho is under the governor, and then he did exactly what the federal government wanted him to do.”

One of those trespassing charges has already been dropped because the Director of Administration, who made the charge, did not have authority to trespass anyone. Bundy is still awaiting trial, along with a co-defendant, on the second charge.

After the arrests in August, Bundy was arrested last month for “failure to appear in court” on the other outstanding trespassing charge. However, Bundy and his co-defendant did show up to court but were denied access to the building because they refused to wear a face mask.

Fast forward to yesterday, Bundy was arrested on trespassing charges at the state capitol and again by the Director of Administration who the court’s already ruled did not have authority to trespass citizens. After bailing himself out, Bundy returned to the capitol and again was arrested for trespassing, this time by Sargent Blake Higley of the Idaho State Police who Bundy said told him “I don’t have to have authority” when asked for authority to make the arrest.

Lots of people in my circle are fond of lamenting that America is now “a joke,” but that’s not so. What it actually is, and has long been, is a lie. The powerlessness to see things put right again that we all feel, the frustration and despair that burdens Bundy right along with every other Real American, is no accident. It’s just another part of The Plan, and it seems to be working quite well so far, thanks.

Now tell me again all about how wrong and unhelpful it is to say that they’re evil, whydon’tcha. That one’s my favorite.

Nothing new under the sun

Our booz-em chum Tal Bachman makes the case that this time maybe, just maybe, there might actually be.

At the end of my last column for SteynOnline, I asked: “What can patriots do to retake their beloved nation?”

We could do worse than getting to know our enemy. Not just know them, but really get inside their heads to understand where they’re coming from, and why.

This is what I see.

The strange figures known as Wokists currently destroying America aren’t just reprises of earlier enemies. They represent something rather new. The political cult of Wokism combines the worst aspects of every political cult in history.

Mebbe so, mebbe so. As a committed contrarian, however, I feel it incumbent on me to take up the mantle of Devil’s advocate here, just a wee bit. The eye-tearing tableau of Wokistry looks to me not so much like a unique and wholly new departure from the standard-issue, Mark-1 Mod-0 Lefist cant with which exhausted Normals have become depressingly familiar. Rather, I think Wokistry and its companion ideological afflictions might more correctly be seen as extensions of said cant—extensions that have become, as they were ever more radicalized, grotesquely exaggerated caricatures of the comparatively moderate but more or less moribund Progtard ideology they elbowed aside and trampled underfoot.

Consider: Wokistry retains Progressivism’s century-old commitment to all-powerful, all-intrusive, all-encompassing government unaltered. Their hoary ideal of perfectable humanity, a sort of shitlib Frankenstein’s monster brought to life not with electric current but the judicial application of government authority and infallible Science, is old-school Progressivism 101. Likewise their unswerving faith in totalitarian rule by an Expert Class; blanket rejection of the existence of unchanging human nature to promote the notion that all human personal characteristics, preferences, and responses are instead malleable, subject to alteration through medical therapies, federal legislation, and societal pressure; the grandiose assertion of an “arc of history” impossible to stop or hinder, advancing human civilization always towards greater enlightenment, cooperation, compassion, equality, and whatever else they think constitutes “progress”—all these things together form the fundamental blueprint off which Progressivism has been working since Day One.

Arrogant, narcissistic twaddle, every bit of it—the stuff of stoned late-night Cow College dorm discussion amongst self-obsessed Ignorati Youth, nothing more. But the creature walks among us even today, and the Wokists, frustrated to the point of tetchiness with the seeming torpor of their more mellow antecedents, hew to an intensified, more aggressive update of the old version. Wokism is nothing new after all. It’s the same old pig in fresh lipstick.

My piffling and somewhat forced quibble aside, though, Bachman is actually dead on. In fact, there’s significant irony here: in proposing that Wokistry in essence amounts to a truly new development, he’s come up with something genuinely new his own bad self. To wit:

Whether they realize it or not, Wokists themselves combine the lunatic loyalty of the Manson family with the hollow pseudo-joy of Jonestown residents, the racism of National Socialists, the inhumanity of Mao Tse-Tung, the bratty tantrums of Veruca Salt, the nihilism of Bakunin-style anarchists, the totalitarianism of Stalin’s Soviet Union, the child torture and sacrifice of the Mayans, the derangement of Heaven’s Gate followers, the sadistic violence of the Jacobins, and the ruthless control-freakism of the current Chinese Communist Party.

Now add to that noxious syncretic blend the Wokist use of powerful communication technologies to shape narratives and meta-narratives, destroy opponents, and recruit new converts, and you’ve got yourself a thing.

Through it all, a counterfeit moral imperative with a deceptively appealing name (“social justice”) drives the cult. That counterfeit imperative casts all existence as one great battle between Good (Wokism) and Evil (everything that is not Woke). It denies any constraints on efforts to win that battle. It entails an obsessive totalitarianism. It forbids critical self-examination of itself. Adherents of the cult are Knowers of the One True Truth. They are crusaders in righteous battle. Only victory matters. Anyone so much as questioning the One True Truth, inside or out, must be destroyed.

All perfectly correct, all object lessons in how the spool of original Progressivism is unwound until the end of the thread has been reached.

It’s long been rightly said of the Progressivist beast that it cannot create or originate, only pervert, defile, and destroy. It forever walks a circular path, plodding doggedly along on his never-ending journey to a place he’s already been. The lumbering, delusional beast is incapable of altering anything but its velocity, never course or direction. Condemned by its own constricted vision, the poor, stupefied Proggybeast can only stumble pointlessly on, finally collapsing in a sweaty, disheveled heap from sheer exhaustion.

No wonder Progressivists are such bitter, angry, and hateful people.

And what they’re actually doing is something like an Invasive Parasite Play: While keeping the outer forms (like the country’s name, like “elections”, etc.) intact, they move in to co-opt and control the structures and institutions which really run the country (which is to say, the structures and institutions which control us). As a result, millions remain oblivious that Wokists are destroying and replacing everything that ever constituted the country—that is, that they are changing what ‘The United States of America’ actually is.

Among many other things, that means first targeting public order, buildings, cities, fair trials, public trust, careers, police forces, education, laws, educations, freedom of speech and religion and assembly and press, codes of ethics, corporate practices, borders, political boundaries, the military, the economy, demography, religious beliefs, customs, music, books, myths, movies, family dynamics, sexuality, heroes, villains, history, aspirations, everything, and then, wherever possible, either destroying them or replacing them with Wokist substitutes.

I mentioned above the analogy of an invasive parasite, but this play is really something even more ambitious. It’s a metamorphosis play, where infiltration, destruction, and replacement is followed by transforming the United States into some completely different entity altogether. That different entity is on track to resemble the former East Germany—a totalitarian puppet-state run by a lawless secret police, subservient to a greater foreign power—far more than any iteration of America throughout its history.

And that, as I always say, is no accident. Be ye not deceived: the Left, always and for all time, is working a plan here—a familiar one, a nefarious and wholly intolerable one. The plan’s contours and ambitions have not and will not change; however exaggerated or extreme the beliefs of the wild-eyed fanatics pushing it at any given time are, the song remains the same. Really, and meaning no insult whatever to my friend Tal, there’s nothing new about a single note of it.

Better not to ask

Especially when you’re pretty confident the answer is going to be unpleasant.

Wisconsin Supreme Court Strikes Down Leftwing Governor Tony Evers’ Lawless Mask Mandate
Ace

Are we still a free people? There seems to be some contentious debate on the point.

Annnnd that’s all the springboard I needed to dive into something I’ve had sitting in an open tab ever since it first appeared weeks ago, patiently waiting for me to get around to it.

Are We Still Free?

Is there really even a reason to discuss the issue? Because it seems to me that if you feel the need to ask, you pretty much already know the answer. You’re just having trouble squaring up to the sad, sorry truth, that’s all. Understandable, since the admission brings up a lot of way tougher questions in its wake, involving weighty matters such as what the hell might be done about it. That opens the can of worms on truly uncomfortable topics like responsibility, honor, duty, posterity, self-respect, &c. Next comes all that “Give me liberty or give me death,” “I regret that I have but one life to” etc, and “a hill worth dying on” hooraw to be dealt with. Before you know it, you’ve left Uncomfortable in your dust, careening straight on into Downright Scaryville.

Nope, best to just leave all such things alone. They have a nasty habit of raising up and biting the almighty crap out of a fella otherwise.

After having lived together through the lost year of 2020-21, many of my long-held beliefs regarding this country have sadly slipped away.

Like many of us, when the lockdowns first began, I believed the directives were basically suggestions from the government that, for our own protection, we needed to close everything down for 15 days. Let’s face it, nearly everyone was scared out of their minds listening to the “experts” saying this would probably kill millions of Americans in 2020, and we complied out of duty and obligation to other citizens and our families. We were only doing what seemed prudent. We were sure we would come out the other side, begin our lives again, and if things were not in a completely normal state, then they’d only be somewhat modified.

But when the state governments began picking and choosing which businesses could reopen and which ones could not—coming up with crazy and specific lists of how businesses may reopen, and demanding everyone wear masks—I realized government “suggestions” actually had teeth and were not suggestions at all.

Apparently, emergency powers supersede all constitutional rights. I did not realize before the pandemic that this was the case. Although some governors, like Kristi Noem of South Dakota, put trust in her citizens after giving them the information they needed, refusing to lock down and cripple her state businesses and citizens, too many other Republican governors followed the herd. Unbeknownst to me, we actually live in large fiefdoms called states in which you may have either a freedom loving governor, a benevolent dictator, or a medieval king doling out crumbs to the masses and telling them to eat cake when they complain.

Pre-pandemic, I also believed that the American people would never put up with such an obvious political power ploy as mandating mask-wearing outside in beaches and parks. If you’ve ever seen the poor indoctrinated souls driving in their cars alone wearing a mask (or two!) or bicycling with their masks on, then you know my prior belief was quickly put to bed.

I do so love the morons riding around alone in their cars all masked up; saw three of ’em yesterday, in fact, and I just laughed and laughed at them. Who knows, maybe those pathetic dullards believe their poor cars have the COVID. Hey, under regnant Safetyism, better safe than sorry, right?

Of course, sensible people understand just how silly the idea of contagious cars is. C’MON, MAN! Science!™ hath shewn that motorized vehicles infected with THEVIRUSTHEVIRUSTHEVIRUS!!! are incapable of transmitting it to humans. Your car is FAR more likely to kill you with all those toxic, Gaia-murdering emissions, you know.

As for losing one’s grip on those “long-held beliefs regarding this country” mentioned by Ms Kelly, that’s actually a good thing, however upsetting she may find it. When one’s beliefs are revealed to be falsehood, integrity demands that they be abandoned and truth embraced in their stead. Anything else is self-deception…and cowardice.

DEAD giveaway

The fascist Left just can’t help themselves; sooner or later, they just HAVE to say the quiet part out loud.

One way or another, regardless of context, it’s always ultimately about “breaking the resistance down” with his kind.

It’s turtles lies, all the way down

After a full year’s worth of balls-out examples that confirm their monstrous dishonesty, I’m suddenly expected to trust them on the Fauxvid “vaccine” now?

Yeah, no.

So You Want To Believe The So-Called ‘Experts’?

Let’s go down the list.

  • This virus was newly discovered in January of 2020. FALSE; Judicial watch has now proved that Fauci and the NIH knew that Covid-19 was diagnosed no later than December 2nd 2019 in Wuhan. This was deliberately concealed under confidentiality agreements between China and the NIH. In short Dr. Fauci and the NIH knowingly and repeatedly lied about the time of first discovery and diagnosis and it is documented that this was known in February and early March and not disclosed. We also now know with scientific certainty that the virus was in the US no later than the second week of December of 2019 because antibodies were found in about 1.5% of blood donations from that time. This, along with the sequencing back-computation I performed in early 2020 places the latest the virus entered the US as sometime in October of 2019 and from the blood bank data it is scientifically proved it had infected about 1.5% of the population, or roughly 4 million people in the US, by the second week of December 2019. This in turn means that we had widespread disease which was blamed on something else. Indeed we handled all 4 million of those cases just fine up until the hysteria started, didn’t we? You didn’t even know those 4 million sick people, and those who died of it, existed prior to the hysteria being ginned up.
  • 15 days will slow the spread. “If we all stay home and minimize contact for 15 days — including closing businesses, schools and not traveling — Covid will be under control and we can trace infections and stop it.” FALSE and we now know impossible because the virus was already all over the country on an uncontrolled basis by that time and the NIH knew the virus had been circulating for at least a month earlier than they admitted at the time. It is true that if you immediately slam your borders shut 100% you can trace and quarantine yourself out of a transmissible epidemic — at the cost of essentially all external trade, travel and tourism. But Fauci factually knew when we started that this was impossible because the virus had been spreading here for at least two months at the time and we hadn’t done a thing about it for those two months. We were later to learn it was four months and perhaps longer.
  • If you give us 30 more days (remember, this is now six weeks to slow the spread) it’ll work. FALSE AGAIN for the same reason; the NIH and Fauci knew there was no possible way to contain the virus when the original 15 days expired as he knew, factually, that the virus had been uncontained for at least three months.
  • But the lockdowns and restrictions worked to save lives! Nope; this is called the “exception fallacy” and now a peer-reviewed journal entry demonstrates it. We knew this early on too; indeed for five decades we’ve had “pandemic response plans” that make clear that once you have widespread community dispersion of an infectious agent attempting to lock down people or impose any other sort of non-pharmaceutical intervention is futile and causes harm. We ignored said decades of hard-won experience — intentionally.
  • Asymptomatic transmission is a major risk. FALSE. Over millions of contacts traced in China not one was ever proved to be from an asymptomatic person. There has never been scientific evidence that asymptomatic spread has been material in any pandemic through history and there is no documented evidence of material asymptomatic spread for Covid-19 in the US or anywhere else. Worse, symptomatic persons least able to afford to call out sick due to lack of paid sick time or even the threat of being fired are those in low-wage and high-contact jobs such as fast food, grocery, meatpacking and other “essential” service industries never mind care home employees who are poorly paid and often moonlight in home health care among extremely vulnerable people.

Far as I know, this is the first attempt at fully cataloguing the staggeringly numerous self-contradictions, reversals, backpedaling, blunders, nonsense, and blatant falsehoods pimped by government “healthcare” bureau-rats for the purpose of fueling a national panic. Karl has done the proverbial yeoman’s work here, and I humbly salute him for it. As the man says:

These are the very same people folks — the NIH, the CDC, State Departments of Health, Fauci, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, IHME, Vanderbilt and many more who now tell you after a solid year of unbroken lies and falsehoods that the vaccines are both safe and effective while at the same time our government has provided a 100% waiver of all liability to the pharmaceutical companies that developed and manufactured them.

I remind you that the false statements of alleged facts outnumber, by a wild margin, the true ones particularly when it comes to things you were told to do that “would work” to stem the spread of this virus. Every single one of those claims has been proved false over time.

In short you’re now being exhorted to believe a cadre of people and government agencies who are proved repeated liars and to trust them with your life after their previous lies killed your mother.

Given this record of falsehoods, actions and intentional refusals to act you’re willing to bet your life they’re telling the truth this time?

No. HELL no. No, I most certainly am NOT. That’s an important question, of course, but the REALLY big one pops up at the very end.

Update! A blast of reality, from a VERY unlikely source.

Wake up world, for love of God. As I’ve been screaming for a year, it’s not about virus, or even vaccine; it’s the data. The vaccine is an excuse, a Trojan Horse, to get you to agree to a platform that is ALREADY 360 degree surveillance, geolocation, turns society off and on.

Once this platform is ‘mandated’ you can no longer opt in or out of out as you do when you sign ‘I agree’ to terms and conditions on a website. You’ll be FORCED to ‘agree’ in order to work, socialize, travel. Then any functionality – social credit system that turns PayPal off..

and on based on your social media behavior, or restricts you to your home based on whether you saw ‘dissidents’, which it will know, or a forbidden play the night before, can be loaded onto it with NO PROBLEM, w/o any additional consent from you which you can’t revoke anyway.

Lastly and as the granddaughter of a woman who lost brothers and sisters to the Holocaust, I don’t say this lightly: IBM is producing the NYS version. IBM’s German subsidiary in Nazi Germany built the forerunner of a digitized system like this, using punch cards, that …

first did exactly what ‘Vaccine Passport’ proposes – it separated Nazi Germany into a two tier society, Jew and Aryan, using the technology of the day. Then IBM created the mechanized lists that allowed Jews to be rounded up swiftly, efficiently. Exactly same system, updated.

But before that, Nazis created exactly what ‘Vaccine Passports’ explicitly promise: separation of society into two tiers: the ‘clean’ (privileged, with access) and ‘unclean (restricted, stigmatized, marginalized). There is no going back once this platform unrolls; no escape.

Oh, I can think of one way out, Ms Wolf. But that route is difficult and dark; no reliable map exists, so nobody can really say for sure where it leads. In any event, our masters would like everyone to understand that they aren’t done with us quite yet.

Joe Biden on Monday said he “shares the sentiment” of CDC Director Rochelle Walensky who warned of “impending doom” with the Covid case trajectory.

“We have so much to look forward to, so much promise and potential…and so much reason for hope, but right now I’m scared,” Walensky said of a virus with a 99.98% survival rate.

Biden also called on governors, mayors and local officials to reinstate mask mandates.

“I’m reiterating my call for every governor, mayor and local leader to maintain and reinstate the mask mandate. Please, this is not politics,” said Biden.

Well, could be, I suppose; is raw tyranny considered “politics,” or no? Thankfully, America’s Governor ain’t having any of it, bless his heart:

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) on Monday railed against the idea of vaccine passports, pledging he would ban businesses from requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination for entry.

This comes after New Yorkers starting last Friday were first able to use such a passport to gain entry to certain events and venues.

“You want the fox to guard the hen house? I mean, give me a break,” DeSantis said of allowing companies to have access to vaccination information, at a press briefing in Tallahassee, Florida. “I think this is something that has huge privacy implications, it is not necessary to do.”

“We’re going to have hit three and a half million seniors that have gotten shots sometime this week, likely 75% of seniors,” he continued. “It’s important to be able to do it, but at the same time we are not going to have you provide proof of this just to be able to live your life normally.”

SO, that’s one (1) state executive that retains at least a basic understanding of what the words “unalienable rights” are supposed to signify, then. No, DeSantis isn’t perfect. None but a fool would expect it of him, or of any other politician. But he’s sure grown into the role of late, wouldn’t you say? I for one am damned happy to have him, and wish there were more like him.

Despots gonna despot

SO. Remember when I told you people that the FauxVid bushwa was NEVER going away?

We Must Start Planning For a Permanent Pandemic
With coronavirus mutations pitted against vaccinations in a global arms race, we may never go back to normal.

As I’ve said all along, Mo’ Bettah Tyranny was the plan right from jump. OBJECT LESSON: you never, never, NEVER allow the State to take your freedom away. No matter what, you don’t. Because once you do there’s only one way to get it back again, and it’s an extremely arduous, painful, costly, and brutal process, with no guarantee whatsoever that the effort will end happily—for anybody.

For the past year, an assumption — sometimes explicit, often tacit — has informed almost all our thinking about the pandemic: At some point, it will be over, and then we’ll go “back to normal.”

This premise is almost certainly wrong. SARS-CoV-2, protean and elusive as it is, may become our permanent enemy, like the flu but worse. And even if it peters out eventually, our lives and routines will by then have changed irreversibly. Going “back” won’t be an option; the only way is forward. But to what exactly?

Simple: this, only more of it. Again: it ends only when WE end it, and not before. Ask a hard one next time, whydon’tcha. More harsh reality from Jolly Olde:

Mary Ramsay, the head of immunisation at Public Health England, said the measures would remain in place while other countries complete their vaccination programs, a process likely to take years.

People have got used to those lower-level restrictions now, and people can live with them, and the economy can still go on with those less severe restrictions in place,” said Ramsay.

“So I think certainly for a few years, at least until other parts of the world are as well vaccinated as we are, and the numbers have come down everywhere, that is when we may be able to go very gradually back to a more normal situation,” she added.

The doctor said that so long as people continue to be infected, the rules won’t be abolished.

Ramsay’s comments once again highlight the fact that the plan never was to get “back to normal.”

Now that Brits have allowed society to be permanently deformed, with polls routinely showing vehement support for lockdown and other pandemic rules, things are never going to be the same again.

Emphasis mine, so’s nobody misses the important parts. So with this, all the questions have been asked and answered, leaving just the eternal one: What, if anything, are we gonna do about it? Don’t forget, students, that failure to provide an answer IS ITSELF an answer. Ain’t no dodging this one, I’m afraid.

And the Founders weep, such is the shameful dishonor their posterity hath shewn.

Superspreader update! Another curtain lifting.

Another Fauci prediction blows up: Since lifting lockdown, Covid cases in Texas have DROPPED 36%
At the time the executive order was issued, March 2, new COVID-19 cases in the state stood at 7,240 cases, with a seven-day average of 7,259 cases. That number dropped to 5,350 cases by March 10 when the executive order came into effect and the economy fully opened.

Two weeks later on March 24, the number of daily new cases stands at 3,827, with a seven-day average of 3,401 cases.

Abbott’s mask mandate rollback had attracted criticism from high-profile figures, including California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Dr. Anthony Fauci, a top adviser to President Joe Biden.

“We understand people’s need to get back to normal, and we’re going in that direction. But when you start doing things like completely putting aside all public health measures as if you’re turning a light switch off, that’s quite risky,” Fauci said during an appearance on CNN earlier this month. “We don’t want to see another surge, and that’s inviting one when you do that.”

Yep, except when it isn’t. I’m in serious danger of sounding like a broken record tonight, I know, but still: if it was really all they claimed, they wouldn’t have had to lie about it continuously.

We have long said that the lockdowns have been for political theater only. The science behind them is flawed tremendously, and this further demonstrates that locking down everything does not truly mitigate the spread. While some will use this as evidence that lockdowns and face masks promote the spread of Covid-19, that’s simply not true. They don’t help very much and the damage they do to the economy as well as the psyches of the people is tremendous.

There’s more, of which you should read the all. Not that any of it matters, of course; as every dictator knows, panic trumps truth every single time. There’s no point trying to argue facts with Leftards anyhow; it wastes your time and annoys the pig, so to speak, since they long ago developed herd immunity to ’em.

Another easy one update! Rick Moran asks it.

Why does it surprise anyone that, when using their own judgment, people can take care of themselves and their families? What is it about freedom of choice that these people hate so much?

Absolutely everything, of course, beginning with the very idea of it and going on from there. Next question?

True colors

Even in the great Repubic of Texas, RINOs gotta RINO.

Tonight Texas Governor Greg Abbott, a “Republican,” issued a despicable and false statement smearing Gab as an “anti-semitic platform that quote “has no place in Texas.” This is the same Gov. Abbott who just five days ago said he was “taking a stand against Big Tech censorship.”

Gov. Abbott’s statement will likely not sit well with the nearly 800,000 Texans who have visited Gab.com in the past 24 hours alone. What is even more strange is that the Texas GOP itself is on Gab with a verified account.

Gab is not an “anti-semitic” platform. We protect the political speech of all Americans, regardless of viewpoint, because in this age of cancel culture nobody else will. That means unpopular viewpoints may be found on the site.

The enemies of freedom smear us with every name in the book because they hate America and they hate free speech. It’s a shame to see a GOP politician fall for this trap when conservative values are under sustained attack all over the country.

People smear Gab for the kinds of people we host. They never smear Gab for the kinds of people we ban. That’s because we don’t have political tests for our users. Ban decisions are made on an individual basis. Our test for political speech is whether it is legal or not. Pretty simple rule.

My own rule of thumb is even simpler: anything that can be expressed verbally, in print, typed, or scratched into the face of a rock—no matter how distasteful, obnoxious, or offensive—is protected speech, and shall remain strictly unmolested by official authority. Any government that fails to live up to that standard is one that has no claim on being a bastion of freedom of speech. Period, full stop, end of story.

On the other hand, I must admit that my longtime free-speech absolutism has been sorely tested in recent years. In fact, I now find myself in favor of at least two exceptions to my own rule, having concluded that Islam and Communism ought to be proscribed in any society otherwise dedicated to liberty purely as a matter of self-preservation. It’s a painful bind to be in intellectually, but in light of the existential destruction to the garden of liberty wrought by these noxious weeds in every time and place they’re permitted to flourish, I can see no better option than to throttle them early, before they fully take root.

There are many Jewish Gab users and customers, whose lawful speech we protect with just as much zeal as we would protect the lawful speech of any person of any faith, ethnicity, or creed.

This is what America used to be like: a place where The People could speak freely regardless of their faith, ethnic background, or beliefs. This is the America Gab is fighting to preserve.

Apparently Gov. Abbott doesn’t agree.

Jesus is King

Apparently he does not, which comes as a disappointment after his announcement lifting all state Fauxvid19 restrictions. Sadly, his duplicitous attack against GAB comes as no real surprise either, considering several other dubious things he’s said and done as governor. Nobody’s perfect, of course, and to expect anything even approaching perfection from any professional politician is the mark of a purblind fool. Even so, support for freedom of speech is about as fundamental as it gets, a complete gimme for anyone claiming to be a conservative.

With this maladroit betrayal of core principle Abbott has let the mask slip pretty badly, exposing his two faces in all their self-serving, double-dealing ugliness. Texans ought to see to it that he pays dearly for it, lest venomous belly-crawlers like Mitt Romeny begin to feel entirely too at home there and infest the place completely.

Saying the quiet part out loud

Cadaver Joe staggered out to mumble and slur his way through a speech of some kind or other, apparently. No longer giving the slightest toss about anything shat from any FederalGovCo sphincter myself, I wasted not a moment of my time or attention on it. Hearing it discussed on the car radio today, though, parts of it seem to have been of some moment after all.

On Thursday night, a masked Biden tottered down a long, empty hall to a podium. He then gave the most bizarre presidential address in American history. After a grim recital of “facts” about the last year, Biden emphasized multiple times that Americans had better take the vaccine — and be grateful to him for his amazing ability to get the vaccine to Americans. He also insisted that, vaccines or not, the government’s in control and can lock all of us up all over again.

Here, in no particular order, are the points that struck me:

1. Biden was more alert than he’s been in many months. Given how frail and confused Biden’s been lately, well, let’s just say his verve was suspicious. Even his eyes, which are usually tightly squinted as he struggles to stay alert and read his teleprompter, were wide open, almost scarily so. Still, he got visibly tired near the end, slurring his words and seeming lost.

3. Biden kept saying he was going to tell the truth. He quoted a woman he allegedly met who told him her heart’s desire: “‘I just want the truth. The truth. Just tell me the truth.'”

“Tell the truth,” Biden said again.

“My fellow Americans,” he said, “you’re owed nothing less than the truth.”

Later, he added, “I will tell you the truth.”

And then he said, “In the coming weeks and months, I’ll be traveling along with the first lady” and a whole host of others “to tell you the truth.”

Do you know who says things like that? Someone who’s lying.

Well, D’UH. Naturally, the speech was as packed stem to stern with outrageous lies as any other Demonrat exhalation reliably is. As pluperfect an old grifter as we know the pRetend pResident to be from his half-century spent rooting in the DC hog-trough, how could any sentient being expect something other than misdirection, hypocrisy, and calculated, self-serving falsehood from the senile old kiddie-diddler? Even so, there were some telling tidbits inadvertently revealed. More delicate, Pollyanna-ish types still locked in denial about what kind of country they live in might need to fortify themselves with a swallow or three of something strong.

7. The main thrust of the speech was that everyone must get the vaccine (the wonderful Biden vaccine). However, Biden conceded that even with the vaccine, masks and social distancing must continue. Even with everyone vaccinated, by July 4, maybe we can gather with small groups outdoors. In other words, even as we’re all pumped full of a vaccine, nothing will change. But we should trust Biden and remember that we’re all in this together.

8. Here’s the scariest thing Biden said, although he slipped it in so quickly many may not have noticed (emphasis mine): “Fourth, in the coming weeks, we will issue further guidance on what you can and cannot do once fully vaccinated to lessen the confusion, to keep people safe, and encourage more people to get vaccinated.”

The vaccine, rather than freeing us, will bring us even more tightly under government control as the federal government mandates what we can and cannot do.

It’s just beautiful, innit? Now you all be good little boys and girls and get your “vaccination,” then maybe Mommy and Daddy will think about letting you celebrate your “freedom” on “Independence Day” just a little this year, mmmmkay?

Naturally, Praetorian Media “journalists” wet themselves with delirious joy over Biden’s grim unveiling of how our Deep State masters really perceive the current state of play in Amerika v2.0.

“Biden Tells Nation There Is Hope After a Devastating Year.”

“Hopeful Biden Says, ‘I Need You.’”

“Biden Sets Vaccine Goal That Would Allow Americans To Gather By July 4.”

These headlines, from the covers of the printed New York Times, LA Times, and Boston Globe, greeted Americans Friday morning, 51 days into the Biden presidency and a full year into the beginnings of America’s long lockdown experiment.

“Seven Takeaways From Biden’s Prime-Time Address” topped CNN’s site. Chris Cillizza’s first two “takeaways”? “Donald Trump dug the hole” was number one. Number two? “A return to empathy.” Chris Cillizza, it’s worth noting, is a 45-year-old man and does not work for the White House.

“Last night is why Joe Biden won the presidency,” Politico Playbook opened with a straight face.

If you hadn’t watched the president’s prime-time address, you might think it was something — anything — other than the most depressing, defeated, and resigned speech since President Jimmy Carter held the office. You might think he hadn’t devoted his third sentence to a baseless attack on his predecessor, and the entire rest of his address to death, sadness, loneliness, and despair. You might think he hadn’t literally threatened the American people, warning, “We may have to reinstate restrictions to get back on track, please, we don’t want to do that again.”

Yeah, and you might also have trouble feeding yourself, tying your shoelaces, or finding your own ass with both hands and a compass, too.

But even in so deep and dark a night as this, there are glimmers of light to be seen here and there. For instance, earlier today I was on the phone with a friend of mine as he drove along McConnells Highway in South Cackalacky. Mid-conversation, he began mumbling a slow count-off, getting up to eleven before bursting into raucous laughter. See, along a certain stretch near his place there are a lot of homes flying the now-desecrated Stars and Stripes out front. Turns out that my friend was totting up the number of folks he passed who had suddenly decided to fly their US flag upside down. This, mind, on the day after Bai-Ding puked forth the most profoundly un-American speech by a *president* in our history.

Which is actually, literally illegal unless done as a distress signal in circumstances of extreme danger to life or property, if I remember right. I figure those people needn’t worry overmuch about being arrested or jailed, though. Our current national predicament makes a pretty good argument against it.

Nothing new under the sun

Give ’em an inch, and next thing you know you’ve been purged.

Dr. Seuss has been cancelled. Some of his work has been deemed racist, and we can’t have that. On Tuesday, the entity that oversees the estate of Theodor Seuss Geisel announced it would no longer publish six of Geisel’s books because they “portray people in ways that are hurtful and wrong.”

There’s not much point in quibbling over whether these and other such illustrations in the condemned Dr. Seuss books are in fact racist or bigoted, or whether Geisel held racist or xenophobic views. By all accounts he was a liberal-minded and tolerant man who hated Nazis and, as a political cartoonist, mocked the antisemitism that was all-too-common in America during World War II.

But context and nuance don’t factor into the inexorable logic of the woke left, which flattens and refashions the past into a weapon for the culture wars of the present. What’s important to understand is that this isn’t simply about banning six Dr. Seuss books. All of Geisel’s work is, in the judgment of left-wing academia, an exercise in “White supremacy, paternalism, conformity, and assimilation.” It might be easy for conservatives to laugh that off as nonsense, but they shouldn’t, because this isn’t really even about Geisel.

That’s always the way of it. Though it might appear otherwise at first, they’re always aiming at bigger targets, working a broader, more comprehensive plan.

To grasp how a man known as much for his messages of tolerance as for his artistic genius could be canceled for racism, you have to understand what’s actually happening here. The left’s war on the past, on long-dead authors like Geisel, isn’t really about the past, it’s about the future. It’s about who gets to rule, and under what terms.

There’s a predictable pattern to what we’re seeing now. It’s predictable because it has happened before in much the same way it’s happening now. During China’s Cultural Revolution in the 1960s and ‘70s, the Chinese Communist Party, at the direction of Mao Zedong, called for the destruction of the “Four Olds”: old customs, old culture, old habits, old ideas. All of these stood in the way of Mao’s socialist ideology, so they had to be destroyed.

Children and students were encouraged by the communist government to inform on their parents and elders, to shame and condemn them in public. The guilty were forced to recant in “struggle sessions,” during which they were mocked and humiliated, sometimes tortured, sometimes murdered. Before it was over, millions were dead.

We’re obviously not there yet, but the woke revolutionaries who now run our elite institutions and exert outsized influence in the corridors of power are following this same pattern.

Granted, we aren’t there…yet. But we’re a hell of a lot closer than we ought to be, and drawing closer every day.

The people behind the statue-toppling, the digital book burnings, and the street violence won’t stop until all three of these things—history, ideas, and dissidents—have been destroyed. These are all impediments to their cultural revolution, and they mean to eliminate them.

So forget about Dr. Seuss. Forget about the statues and the books. Those things are just the beginning. It could easily get much worse. The woke revolutionaries of the left can’t be bargained with or appeased. They believe this is a zero-sum game, that one side will win and one side will lose. And they’re right.

Indeed they are. All liberty-minded Americans need to figure that out, with a quickness. Because there are a thousand ways this truly existential struggle might be lost, and only way to win it. This New Zealander gets off on the right foot with that, but quickly wanders WAY off course.

Though I’m a New Zealander, I know America and its people well. I’ve travelled to every state in the Lower 48 and have addressed more than 500 audiences across this amazing nation. My message has always been the same: The United States is heading toward a brutally tyrannical socialist revolution—and if America goes down, every free country follows.

Well, now it’s here, people, unfolding before our very eyes.

So, what can be done? Can the Republic be saved? Honestly, I don’t know.

However, I can suggest some steps that would at least give this country a fighting chance.

1. Face Reality
Millions of Americans are still in complete denial. Many think the military is secretly in control—that it’s only a matter of time until justice is done and President Donald Trump is restored. There’s a “secret plan”—just “have faith.” The truth is that Trump was outmaneuvered by an alliance of communists, globalists, and even traitors in his own party. The “deep state” is now almost fully in control.
Trump isn’t coming back into office any time before 2024—if we still have meaningful elections by then.

We’re undergoing a Marxist-Leninist revolution driven by China—right now, in real time.

The military can’t save us, nor can Trump. On the contrary, it’s up to patriots to protect Trump and the Armed Services from unrelenting Democrat/communist attacks.

When enough Americans face the unpleasant truth, then, and only then, can we talk about hope.

No argument here. And now we go a-wandering off into the weeds, wherein Mr Loudon decides to completely turn his back on Step One for some strange reason.

2. Stop All Violent Rhetoric
Violence will not save America. The harsh reality is that President Barack Obama had eight years to replace patriotic generals with left-leaning political appointees. He did a great job. If violence breaks out (God forbid) the military will stand with the government, not the insurgents.

Beware anyone inciting violence online, at a public gathering, or in a private meeting. Distance yourself fast. They will be at best hopelessly naive, at worst government provocateurs.

The left is praying for “right wing” violence. It will give them an excuse for a massive crackdown on patriotic Americans.

Uh huh. As if that wasn’t happening already.

Having said that, the Second Amendment must be preserved all costs.

For what, pray tell?

An armed populace is at least some check on tyranny,

How so, since you already ruled out even “violent rhetoric”? Having foresworn violence altogether, what’s that “armed populace” supposed to do—wave their guns menacingly at their oppressors? Read the Second Amendment to them in a commanding voice? How much of a “check on tyranny” do you really think that amounts to?

even if useless in the face of biological warfare or nuclear attack. Americans should keep their guns and work every day to ensure they never have to use them against their own people.

Sorry if I’m bursting any bubbles here (non-violently!!), but the only sure-fire way of ensuring that is by A) maintaining an absolute, one-hundred-percent-unwavering commitment to liberty and Constitutional principle, and B) abolishing any possibility of doubt in anyone’s mind about the willingness to use those guns for their intended purpose, if regretfully, should ever-creeping tyranny make it necessary. For anyone unclear on what that “intended purpose” might be, do feel free to explore America history circa 1775-79, when it was explicitly and comprehensively spelled out—in writing—by the Founding Fathers.

Follows, some piffle about election reform, boycotts, and other things, which I won’t bother with right now beyond commending Step 1 above to the author’s closer attention. Some of his suggestions actually could be worthwhile; some of them are almost certainly wastes of time and effort. I still do like the nullification idea myself, although the odds of it proving sufficient to avert bloody conflict and restore some semblance of proper governance do seem kinda long. As far as I can determine, historical precedent so far supports “you can vote your way into socialism, but you have to shoot your way out” as immutable Truth, an Iron Law.

I don’t mean to sound as if I’m bashing Loudon, really I don’t. The man is certainly no dummy, and his heart is in the right place. That said, though, we’re brought right back around to the most essential component, the foundation on which the house of liberty stands: the willingness, the resolve, the steel to at least credibly proclaim that the unalienable right to resist tyranny by any and all effective means—emphatically including those codified in the 2A—will NEVER be off the table. Without that all else is moot; the foundation must crumble, and the house of liberty fall.

Behind the wire

It’s an occupation government. It damned well ought to look like one.

We’ve been reporting on the troubling question of what are the National Guard still doing in Washington, D.C. at this point and why are there reports that they intend to keep them through the fall?

So far there’s been no explanation given as to why that’s happening and what the rationale is, what the “threats” are supposed to be. No one is being told, including the governors whose units were being used or Congressional Republicans. Rep. Lisa McClain, who is on the House Armed Services Committee, is demanding answers from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on the matter. It’s ridiculous that there’s so far been in excess of $480 million spent without any explanation to Congress as to why it is continuing.

But that’s not the only problematic security measure continuing in D.C. Remember that fencing around the Capitol? The Capitol Police are now asking that the 8 foot barbed wire fencing stay in place around the Capitol until September to help protect lawmakers “while authorities work to track down threats.”

Guess what those “threats” are. Go on, guess. I double-dog dare ya.

Come come, now, Congressman, surely that’s just a bit much, don’tchathink? I mean, Gen Honoré is an accomplished military man, an entirely honorable member of our great nation’s, uhhh…that is, a decorated warrior who…uhhh…I mean to say that, well…

Well.

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) tweeted out a video which features points from Tucker Carlson’s blistering exposé on Wednesday showing just how unhinged the good General is. The video also includes clips from Gen. Honoré’s interview on Roland Martin Unfiltered laying out what his views and goals for this review will entail.

Gen. Honoré is cut from the same cloth as Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin: you are proven racist because you have a certain skin color and hold certain political beliefs, and our job is to root you out and eliminate you from the military and/or law enforcement, as well as polite society.

What he said to Roland Martin pretty much confirms this:

“So they allowed their buddies in yesterday. They had help inside the force, and you can assume that 30 percent of that force support the guy in the White House, that’s just demographics.”

“As hard as we try as an institution in the military, among us are people who think the election was stolen.”

Ahhh… so this is the problem. Not aligning with the preferred narrative and groupthink makes you dangerous. How Orwellian of you, good General.

But wait, there’s more.

“What they really are P.O.’d about, they are worried that they will lose their white power. They don’t like the browning of America. It took the sheet off a bunch of people proclaiming themselves to be conservative. And what they are is racists.”

Aww, who isn’t? Amongst us blue-eyed devils, that is.

So let’s recap. Piglousi is deploying a RAYCISS!™ slimeball from the upper reaches of the Uruk-hai officer corps to help the Occupation Government hunt down its enemies. Good to know, I suppose. But back to those heightened security measures protecting Mordor OTP from We the People for a sec.

Meanwhile, it’s fascinating this newfound love that Democrats seem to have for walls. I thought walls don’t protect anything according to their arguments and we didn’t need a wall at the border to protect the country? Yet, they have no problem with a wall to protect themselves.

In the United States of America, seeing the halls of the people walled off is a particularly troubling look, making one think of banana republics and dictators. Surely doesn’t look like they think they have the confidence of the voters with this. Imagine for the moment if President Donald Trump had done this, what they would have said and how they would have gone off with how dictatorial it was.

Missing the point yet again, I see. Imagining the Enemy reaction “if Trump had wank-wank-wank” is pointless whataboutism, carrying no more force than a child whining about having to eat his broccoli. Anybody who continues doing it should be sent straight to bed without dessert. Cry all you want to, kid. Daddy don’t care.

Nor do our masters care a whit about “the confidence of the voters.” There is one and only one takeaway from this that really matters: They have the power now, and they intend to keep it. Whatever they must do to ensure that, they will do. The thing that does matter comes in the form of a question: What, if anything, are Real Americans willing to do to take it back from them? If your answer is “Vote harderer!” then may your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget you were ever our countrymen.

Are you beginning to see now why I actually love the idea of the Imperial City walling itself off; disallowing its subjects all access to it; and surrounding its scuttling, slithering denizens with armed stormtroopers goons to scare off the serfs? I hope it stays this way always—until the Citadel Of Democracy Tyranny is finally taken down. Get yourself a good, long look at stark reality. Consider it something of a nudge, or prompt. Let Terrible Ted take us on home.

Update! When half-literate slander against civilian leadership bleeds over into actual insubordination.

Since Monday, several more partisan and profane comments have come to light featuring Honoré blasting Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mis.) and other Republicans for objecting to the 2020 election results, blaming conservative Capitol Police for “allowing Trumpsters” to get into the Capitol, and savaging President Trump.

“That little peace of shit with his @Yale law degree should be run out of DC and Disbarred ASAP,” Lt. General Russel Honoré wrote of Hawley in a now deleted Twitter post on January 11.

Becker News unearthed several more tweets that point to the general’s extreme partisanship. On November 18, Honoré tweeted out a meme with an image of himself wearing a black mask on the left and President Trump looking gruff on the right. The tweet included a statement he apparently made last March beckoning the president to “stop the bullshit” and deploy the National Guard “to meet national testing needs.”

In another tweet, Honoré tweeted somewhat incoherently, “Covid19 the @WhiteHouse Shit Show. Wear ya Damn Mask. Stay ya Aaa Home.”

This hysterical buffoon is a real gem, ain’t he? He’s perfect for the role Pelosi has him playing, I’d say.

Lockdowns forever, forever locked down

Living la vida locka.

Conservatives who predicted that COVID-19 would end with the Trump Administration were overlooking a central point: The Left’s hatred of Trump is merely a symptom of their guiding philosophy, which is, as “Yes, Minister” put it so concisely back in the 1970s, gradually to exclude people from government. The Left is in favor of any action that will expand the authority of bureaucrats by taking decisions out of the hands of citizens.

With the coronavirus, the Left is beside itself with glee: This is the first crisis since 9/11 broad enough to make possible a fundamental transformation of American society.

Every great crisis in American history, without exception, has been used to expand government. The greater the crisis, the greater the scope for expansion: 9/11 led to the NSA monitoring the traffic of the entire internet. It also created the Department of Homeland Security and the TSA, with the power to ruin air travel forever and give passengers a taste of how they’d feel being processed into a federal penitentiary. Of course Israel, facing a much more persistent terror threat, manages to keep terrorists off planes without touching their passengers’ privates. America’s security measures—which will never go away—were not a result of what needed doing, but what the government thought they could get away with doing.

In the 1930s, the Great Depression was used as an opportunity to create a welfare state in America and issue every citizen with an identification number, which we call Social Security. The Depression didn’t actually go away until World War II, and, once it did go away, the massive new government programs remained. In the 1860s, the Civil War was also an opportunity to impose an income tax for the first time in American history. The income tax was unconstitutional, so it wasn’t until another great looming crisis—World War I—that the constitution was amended to make the income tax a permanent feature of our lives.

The reason coronavirus so delights today’s Left is that the public response to their power grab has been overwhelmingly docile: The numbers of deaths are vastly below historic health panics, even with generous inflation via guidelines encouraging doctors to record anyone who previously had the virus as having died from it.

Even so, the government was able to lock people in their homes for a “two-week period” that turned out to be roughly a year, destroy much of the hospitality sector of the economy, force people to cover their faces in public as though living under a secular sharia, and, perhaps best of all, they got neighbors to snitch on neighbors and children to report their parents when these edicts weren’t followed.

It has been a bonanza. The everyday American citizen will always remember 2020 as a painful, terrible, soul-crushing year. For the Left, that makes it one of the best years on record. It is one of those great years in which they changed how Americans live.

They’ve been on quite a tear, enjoying a very nearly uninterrupted win streak since, oh, FDR at least. Those wins come with an asterisk attached, though, signifying their slightly tainted nature. Cattle Car Americans earned collective credit for an assist on each one, by docilely moo-ing their assent to every successive encroachment on the rights and freedoms they no longer care about.

The article’s title is “The Pandemic Is Over,” which isn’t entirely accurate. This will only be over when enough of us finally get off of our knees to stand up and say it is, and not a moment before. Until such time as our compliance is withdrawn, locked down we are, and locked down we shall remain.

When you’re right, you’re right

And right they are.

Russia Blasts Biden Regime For ‘Persecution’ Of Trump Supporters, Political Dissidents
Russia calls on the United States to observe the human rights of political opponents.

The irony, it burns.

The Russian Foreign Ministry has issued a statement lambasting the United States government under Joe Biden for the “ongoing persecution campaign” taking place “against anybody at all who does not agree with the results of the latest presidential election.”

In the statement, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova delivered a scathing assessment of the human rights situation in the United States under President Joe Biden.

Zakharova described the ongoing crackdown against Trump loyalists in the United States:

“The FBI has reportedly opened more than 400 criminal cases and applied for more than 500 search warrants and subpoenas for suspects; it has also brought charges against and detained around 200 people. Only several dozen defendants have been released on bail or placed under house arrest. The others are being subjected to harsh pressure, with members of their family and social circle being coerced into giving a ‘convenient’ testimony. Moreover, people who have not even been officially charged are losing their jobs; they are being banned from social media and publicly ostracised.”

She also questioned the “objectivity of the law enforcement agencies” involved in this campaign, noting that they were acting under orders and “in line with the narrative of the current administration who declared the events of January 6, 2021 a riot and everybody who was near the US Congress on that day all but plunderers.”

She went on to correctly note that far from being violent rioters, most of the attendees of the January 6 rally were peaceful protesters.

“In fact, the majority of those people were ordinary citizens concerned about the situation in their own country,” she said. “These were 74 million voters who voted for their president and defended their views.”

Living in Biden’s shiny new Amerikan Gulag, you might devoutly wish to be able to dispute all that. But if you’re at all honest, you can’t. Bottom line:

As the human rights situation continues to deteriorate in the United States, it is becoming apparent to the world that Trump supporters are a repressed group in Biden’s America.

A-yup. Know the old saying “the truth hurts”? Well, when you’re trapped in a rapidly disintegrating banana republic, watching a formerly powerful and prosperous nation fall into decay in the iron-fisted grip of an illegitimate, repressive junta that is openly hostile to half its own population, it damned sure does at that.
