Oh, it’s happening alright. But Trump ain’t the one who’s doing it.

How do you like the party you supposedly voted into power so far? Or is it perhaps too much to say they were actually voted into anything? And if so — if there was something, let’s say, a little irregular with the ballot tabulation, maybe even more than a little — have they not succeeded splendidly in pissing-off more than half the people across the land? And then attempted to rub that half’s faces into the squishy, fetid loam of the DC Swamp?

I’d say that every move they make, every breath they take, seems calculated to spark a new civil war. Yesterday’s spiteful exercise in cognitive dissonance was a humdinger: Mr. Biden threatened to cut off travel to Florida for flouting his regime’s policy on Covid-19 lockdowns, while over in Texas (and several other states), he ordered a general unlocking-down of the border with Mexico, permitting the unchecked illegal ingress of thousands of possible Covid-19 carriers a day. Ron DeSantis, Florida’s governor, responded, saying — if I may paraphrase — see you in court, asshole.

How strange it is to see the group formerly so avid for social and sexual transgression, and the artistic subversion of norms, turn into the most viciously censorious species of bluenose. But, of course, you must understand that Wokery is not about principle, not even a teeny-weeny bit. It’s simply about coercion and punishment, which is exactly why apologizing for supposed counter-Woke errors never avails. In other words, you are not dealing with a mere extreme type of moralist, but rather dedicated sadists. They’re not in it to correct injustice, but for the pleasures of vengeance alone, the torturing of their quarry, and the glow of power it confers.

Not so much strange as predictable, I’ll warrant, once one becomes fully Woke to the fact that, as always, they enjoy a grant of universal exemption to abiding by the rules and standards they so mercilessly inflict on everybody else—invokable at their whim, for any reason, or for none at all. Call it a sort of “tell” exposing one facet of that core sadism you just rightly mentioned, let’s say.

And the motive is no different among the Democratic Party’s Wokesters in government. How else explain the idiotic impeachment of former president Trump, like the trial of the cadaver of Pope Formosus in the year 897, seven months after his death, for provoking the Carolingian Duke Arnolf to cross the Alps into Italy and seize the throne of the Holy Roman Empire. That episode took place in the heart of the Dark Ages, of course, but have we perhaps not entered a new Dark Age with the Woke Inquisition against — let’s just face it — Western Civ, and all its (for some) difficult-to-comprehend achievements?

Indeed we have, and it will get darker still as the New Dark Age grinds on and The Shadow of Mordor OTP deepens, until a true, unconstrained Resistance arises and brings them down.

It could NEVER happen here

Think so, do ya? Better think again.

In September 2019, Couy Griffin, founder of Cowboys for Trump, met with President Trump in the Oval Office.

His group, according to its website, believes “securing our border, protecting our Second Amendment, and protecting the lives of the unborn are the most vital and key aspects in America’s Greatness.” Trump supporters riding on horseback—often carrying American flags and Trump banners—participated in rallies across the country to show support for the president.

Today, Griffin sits in a jail cell denied bail.

Prosecutors charged Griffin with one minor count of trespassing as part of the Justice Department’s sweeping investigation into the events of January 6. Griffin, who is a county commissioner in New Mexico, never entered the Capitol but investigators scoured his social media account to find evidence that he was “well within the restricted area” of the building.

Griffin did not assault a police officer or break any windows or even steal an important leader’s laptop. His real crime, of course, is that he’s a supporter of Donald Trump—and his real threat to society, according to U.S. prosecutors and a federal judge, is that Griffin dares to doubt the outcome of the 2020 presidential election. (In his post-arrest interview, Griffin told the FBI “the election was stolen.”)

Arguing that Griffin is a flight risk and should remain in jail throughout his trial, government lawyers claimed his refusal to accept Joe Biden as the legitimately elected president would cause him to also “deny the authority of the judicial officers appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate.”

Magistrate Judge Zia Faruqui, who was neither appointed by the president nor confirmed by the Senate, concurred. “This is an offense that, at bottom, was an attempt to stop democracy from moving forward because people were unhappy about the results of the election,” Faruqui preached during a February 1 hearing. “I don’t think that the defendant will follow my conditions if he believes I am part of this machine of the democratic process.”

The judge added that refusing to accept the outcome of the 2020 election is like “not believing facts or science.” (Faruqui, it’s worth noting, was appointed a federal magistrate last year after a 12-year career at the D.C. U.S. Attorney’s office, the same office overseeing every January 6 related case. This is the swamp in action.)

So, facing just one federal misdemeanor, Griffin will remain locked up for the foreseeable future.

He is, for all intents and purposes, a political prisoner.

That’s precisely what he is, and there’s no need to be mincing words or dancing around the thing. Even worse, he’s not the only one, with many, many more soon to join him. Jules provides a few more examples, and you’d better believe they’re just the tip of a very scary iceberg:

More than 200 people have been charged so far; the FBI has described its effort as a “24/7, full bore extensive operation” and warned that agents from its 56 field offices will be fully engaged.

“The scope and scale of these investigations…is really unprecedented not only in FBI history but in DOJ history,” acting Attorney General Michael Sherwin said during a press conference on January 12.

Since all cases will be adjudicated in Washington, D.C., it’s a sure bet that defendants will be shown no mercy in the Trump-hating Beltway legal system also responsible for prosecuting Roger Stone and Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn—just a few of the Americans targeted by law enforcement solely based on their ties to Donald Trump.

“Some of the misdemeanors we’re filing, these are only the beginning, this is not the end,” Sherwin warned. “We’re looking at significant felony cases tied to sedition and conspiracy. Their only marching orders from me are to build sedition and conspiracy charges related to the most heinous acts that occurred in the Capitol, and these are significant charges that have felonies with prison terms of up to 20 years.”

This thinly-veiled threat, mind, comes from a high-level DoJ scumbucket whose agency couldn’t be bothered with getting to the bottom of Spygate, complying with Trump’s declassification orders, or doing anything whatsoever about last summer’s out-of-control rioting, looting, and destruction. Just too darned busy with important matters like, say, Bubba Ocasio-Smollett’s NASCAR noose attack, I suppose.

America’s own Great Purge and Cultural Revolution are just getting cranked up, and we ain’t seen nothing yet. Any damned fool still averting his eyes from what’s coming better get his head around the sequence of events as predicted by past lived experience, lest he suddenly find himself in the Ogulags too…or the Killing Fields.

The Enemy ain’t just whistling Dixie here, folks, nor is he playing around. If you never learned a smidgeon of history in school, I’d strongly suggest you bone up with a quickness. Otherwise, it has this nasty little habit of coming back around to bite EVERYBODY in the ass. Either pay heed to the lessons it teaches, or suffer the excruciating injury it inflicts on those who don’t.

Out, and proud

They had to destroy democracy in order to save it.

Time published a story that provides absolutely astonishing details and framing of activities that took place around the 2020 election. As readers, you deserve a detailed analysis of this story and the people and organizations involved. The recounting of the story in Time is longer than a chapter in many novels. Time says additional details will be provided in a series of articles over the next several days. This article is an introduction.

The title is provocative enough. “The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election.” The story goes on to describe in precise detail a coalition of various powerful special interest groups that united, beginning a year before the election, to ensure Joe Biden would win.

I’ll quote as extensively as I like from the Time article, without linking to it. Let the shitlib propaganda pimps find their own way to up the hit count, says I. Here’s the archive.is snapshot instead.

A second odd thing happened amid Trump’s attempts to reverse the result: corporate America turned on him. Hundreds of major business leaders, many of whom had backed Trump’s candidacy and supported his policies, called on him to concede. To the President, something felt amiss. “It was all very, very strange,” Trump said on Dec. 2. “Within days after the election, we witnessed an orchestrated effort to anoint the winner, even while many key states were still being counted.”

In a way, Trump was right.

There was a conspiracy unfolding behind the scenes, one that both curtailed the protests and coordinated the resistance from CEOs. Both surprises were the result of an informal alliance between left-wing activists and business titans. The pact was formalized in a terse, little-noticed joint statement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and AFL-CIO published on Election Day. Both sides would come to see it as a sort of implicit bargain–inspired by the summer’s massive, sometimes destructive racial-justice protests–in which the forces of labor came together with the forces of capital to keep the peace and oppose Trump’s assault on democracy.

The handshake between business and labor was just one component of a vast, cross-partisan campaign to protect the election–an extraordinary shadow effort dedicated not to winning the vote but to ensuring it would be free and fair, credible and uncorrupted. For more than a year, a loosely organized coalition of operatives scrambled to shore up America’s institutions as they came under simultaneous attack from a remorseless pandemic and an autocratically inclined President. Though much of this activity took place on the left, it was separate from the Biden campaign and crossed ideological lines, with crucial contributions by nonpartisan and conservative actors. The scenario the shadow campaigners were desperate to stop was not a Trump victory. It was an election so calamitous that no result could be discerned at all, a failure of the central act of democratic self-governance that has been a hallmark of America since its founding.

Their work touched every aspect of the election. They got states to change voting systems and laws and helped secure hundreds of millions in public and private funding. They fended off voter-suppression lawsuits, recruited armies of poll workers and got millions of people to vote by mail for the first time. They successfully pressured social media companies to take a harder line against disinformation and used data-driven strategies to fight viral smears.

And now you know just how it was that the Hunter Biden scandal got quashed so handily.

They executed national public-awareness campaigns that helped Americans understand how the vote count would unfold over days or weeks, preventing Trump’s conspiracy theories and false claims of victory from getting more traction. After Election Day, they monitored every pressure point to ensure that Trump could not overturn the result. “The untold story of the election is the thousands of people of both parties who accomplished the triumph of American democracy at its very foundation,” says Norm Eisen, a prominent lawyer and former Obama Administration official who recruited Republicans and Democrats to the board of the Voter Protection Program.

For Trump and his allies were running their own campaign to spoil the election. The President spent months insisting that mail ballots were a Democratic plot and the election would be “rigged.”

Which, of course, they were.

His henchmen at the state level sought to block their use, while his lawyers brought dozens of spurious suits to make it more difficult to vote–an intensification of the GOP’s legacy of suppressive tactics.

By such OUTRAGES AGAINST “DEMOCRACY”!!! as, oh, requiring valid ID to vote; expunging corpses from the eligible-voter rolls; checking to be sure voters hadn’t relocated; etc. Gee, what would we ever have done without these paragons of virtue looking out for us? Apart from perhaps being able to hold a, y’know, free and fair election, I mean?

Before the election, Trump plotted to block a legitimate vote count. And he spent the months following Nov. 3 trying to steal the election he’d lost–with lawsuits and conspiracy theories, pressure on state and local officials, and finally summoning his army of supporters to the Jan. 6 rally that ended in deadly violence at the Capitol.

Deadly violence—wherein a Trump supporter and USAF vet was wantonly, needlessly murdered by a trigger-happy Mordor On The Potomac orc, and the other deaths were basically due to heart attack or stroke.

Deadly violence, forsooth. Hasn’t been near enough of it to suit some of us, bitch. Not yet, anyway. Still early innings, though.

This is the inside story of the conspiracy to save the 2020 election, based on access to the group’s inner workings, never-before-seen documents and interviews with dozens of those involved from across the political spectrum. It is the story of an unprecedented, creative and determined campaign whose success also reveals how close the nation came to disaster. “Every attempt to interfere with the proper outcome of the election was defeated,” says Ian Bassin, co-founder of Protect Democracy, a nonpartisan rule-of-law advocacy group. “But it’s massively important for the country to understand that it didn’t happen accidentally. That’s why the participants want the secret history of the 2020 election told, even though it sounds like a paranoid fever dream–a well-funded cabal of powerful people, ranging across industries and ideologies, working together behind the scenes to influence perceptions, change rules and laws, steer media coverage and control the flow of information. They were not rigging the election; they were fortifying it. And they believe the public needs to understand the system’s fragility in order to ensure that democracy in America endures.

Democracy, along with the Constitution, liberty, and the very concept of unalienable rights, is as dead as America That Was is. It rankles tremendously to be lectured about the system’s “fragility” by the very goddamned filthbags that, over the course of many decades, labored so diligently to weaken its foundation, reducing it to the smashed, smoking ruin it now is.

If, after reading the rest of the thing, you aren’t filled with a blistering rage at the sure and certain knowledge that this is just another example of The Enemy—flush with his ill-gotten triumph, secure in its totality and permanence—openly laughing in the faces of Real Americans, then I really don’t know what more there is to say to you. This is the part of the war where they have shot most of the survivors, and are now engaging in psyops to humiliate and degrade whoever is still alive. They are now admitting they rigged the election so that we understand that there is nothing we can do about it — we are a defeated people, they want us to know, and they intend to rule us.

What Ulysses Grant Can Teach Joe Biden About Putting Down Violent Insurrections
The deadly siege of the Capitol in Washington, which sought to overturn a legitimate election by targeting lawmakers with assassination, was not the first attempted insurrection in American history.

Right out of the gate, you can see that this is going to be the kind of even-handed, thoughtful article so typical of Leftard sewer Politico. This next is mildly interesting, including a factoid I had either forgotten about or didn’t know.

Amidst the white terror campaigns, Grant and his legislative allies spied a solution. That year, Congress passed the first of what eventually would become three Enforcement Acts. In effect, the statutes made it a federal offense to deprive individuals of civil or political rights, and provided greater federal oversight of elections and voter registration. That wasn’t all. A few weeks later Congress voted to create the Department of Justice, staffing up lawyers under the attorney general and giving the attorney general oversight of all U.S. attorneys and federal marshals.

And hasn’t THAT worked out wonderfully. Just a reminder that the roots of so many of our current problems stretch all the war back to CW 1.0 and its aftermath. But let no one claim that the lessons of the dim and distant past no longer have anything useful to teach us today.

Despite the arrests, the court system stood overburdened by the rush of indictments, and only managed to issue serious sentences for a few dozen perpetrators. And even then, the sentences — five years maximum in a federal penitentiary — hardly fit the crimes, which often entailed murder and lynching. The new judicial behemoth appeared to be less than the sum of its parts.

More importantly, creeping exhaustion began crawling across Northern white communities, fatigued as they were by a decade’s worth of combating white violence in the South. Tired of seeing their boys off to fight fellow Americans — and uneasy about the potential of living in a republic held together by bayonet — white Northerners began wilting in the face of resurgent violence across the South. A sort of moral stagnation began to take root, rotting support for the administration to continue its anti-insurrection efforts.

It was a wilting that Grant easily perceived – as did the white militants still looking for any signs of weakness among the federal crackdowns. In 1874, white terror resurged once more, seen most especially in Louisiana. In Coushatta, a town not far from Shreveport, members of the KKK-adjacent White League assassinated a number of Republican officials. Shortly thereafter, thousands of White Leaguers set their sights on their statehouse in New Orleans, then serving as the seat of Louisiana’s government. Facing off with thousands more police and Black militia-men, the white terrorists ultimately prevailed, installing a rival Democratic government in a successful insurrection—what Smith called a “coup d’etat.”

Hmmm. Food for thought.

As I heard someone say, what we saw was that the Red Shirts of South Carolina have been replaced with the Red Hats of MAGA,” Janney said. Both are clearly aimed at upending the outcomes of democratic elections, willing to use violence to cow legislators — or worse. And both aim at thwarting multi-racial coalitions in the pursuit of ethnonationalist rule, a through-line of attempting to restore white rule that connects 1861 and 1876 to 2016 and 2020. As such, Grant’s experience in battling white insurrectionists presents a pair of primary lessons for the new Biden administration.

The first lesson, experts say, is relatively clear. As Trumpian insurrectionists continue popping up across the country — propelled by “the Big Lie” that Trump’s re-election was stolen—and as Republican legislators saber-rattle about potential violence if they don’t get their way, the administration has to use the full range of tools at its disposal. “There are so many more federal laws that can be used now,” Pitcavage said. “Conspiracy laws that didn’t exist [in the 1870s], laws about federal property that didn’t exist back then, laws about paramilitary training designed to foment civil disorder—there are any number of laws on the books now that theoretically could be used.”

Such utter, utter horseshit, underlining yet again that there is simply no possibility of peaceful coexistence alongside these fascist madmen. “Upending the outcome of democratic elections”? The “Big Lie”? Endlessly repeating this twaddle will never make it truth, no matter how long the loop is. As for “thwarting multi-racial coalitions in the pursuit of ethnonationalist rule,” that’s just laughable. There is not a single inch of common ground to be found with nitwits who cherish such extravagant hallucinations, and it would be wrong to even try. To do so would require sane people to indulge the delusional ravings of dangerous lunatics, tacitly agreeing to pretend that “their truth” even remotely resembles observable reality.

Sorry, no. When their pathology becomes a genuine menace, the deranged must not be cossetted; they must be removed from society, lest real harm be done. They should be dealt with humanely, of course. But they must also be dealt with firmly. Our compassion must never be allowed to trump our resolve to preserve civil order; self-respect demands no less.

The irony of the closing ‘graphs is so caustic it could eat holes through armor plating:

Despite the differences, Grant and Biden share more similarities than most might assume. One was a grizzled war hero, who’d crushed the most treasonous movement the country had ever seen. The other is a seasoned politician, known for moderation and political tact.

My God, he appears to really believe this crap.

There are plenty of echoes between the era of Grant and the coming era of Biden. After all, as Grant once said, “If we are to have another [civil war], I predict that the dividing line will not be Mason and Dixon’s, but between patriotism and intelligence on the one side, and superstition, ambition, and ignorance on the other.”

Whatever else you might think of Grant, he damned sure got that one right.

And Grant’s words seem especially prescient as a new administration takes root — and looks to the lessons of previous American insurrections in order to prevent their repeat. “The fundamental question remains: Do we have a legitimate peaceful process of electing and governing that we accept? Or do we not?” Simpson said. “The stakes are actually bigger this time than during Reconstruction. Because the legacy of this deplorable episode will be whether we question the very legitimacy of a process that depends upon the acceptance of its legitimacy in order for it to work.”

With nary an acknowledgement that “acceptance of its legitimacy” depends in turn on said process actually being, y’know, legitimate. When legitimacy has been forsaken, acceptance will be withdrawn. It’s a perfectly appropriate, even vital response.

In the end, we’re left with only two possibilities here: either they’re A) constitutionally incapable of comprehending the absurdities, hyperbole, and contradictions that cripple the assertions and beliefs promoted in this dumpster fire of an article and elsewhere; or B) they’re lying through their fucking teeth—using dishonesty and manipulation as a tactic, a means of achieving a desired goal. Yeah, explain to me again why any decent person should WANT to find “common ground” with such swine, whydon’tcha.

Go ahead on, China Joe. You send out your Schutzstaffel squads. Compile your lists of Enemies Of The State. Build your gulags. Brand us as “insurrectionists” and “terrorists” and whatever other words your puppeteers can put in your lying mouth. Spy on us; surveil us; hunt us down; imprison us; enslave us—all 80 million-plus of us. Censor us; blacklist us, ban us, shun us. Suppress and oppress your opposition to the greatest extent you can possibly manage. Let’s just see what it all gets you in the end. Your precious “republic” is an obscenity—a sick, unfunny joke. Your “election” was fraudulent, criminal. For the record: I do not now and will not ever recognize the legitimacy of your corrupt fucking government. I owe it, and you, no allegiance, no affection, no cooperation. I will defy and resist it, and you, to the very last ounce of my strength.

Joe Biden will never, ever be my president. Any pus-nutted Progtard who considers that statement “whining,” or otherwise thinks I’m a big meanie for saying such awful things, is hereby cordially invited to suck my fucking dick.

Amerikan Gulag

A few years back, I coined a term: the USSSA, the United Soviet Socialist States of Amerika. Cynical as I thought I was being, though, I can see now that I had no idea.

America is changing in bewildering ways since Donald Trump left office. For the first time in our nation’s history, the president of the United States, out in the open and for all to see, is a demented, senile figurehead. With the support of a media class, ostensibly charged with keeping him in check but instead behaving like the old Soviet Pravda, Biden is able to cover up his otherwise obvious physical, mental, and moral infirmities.

Unlike Trump, who rose to power with a popular movement, Biden succeeded through his handlers’ trickery and guile. His campaign was the most cynical in American history. He spent much of his time taking naps and hiding from the public. But he was shielded by propaganda and the support of a corrupt ruling class every step of the way.

Biden’s fake campaign is now succeeded by a fake presidency. If it appears he is governing with malice and neglect, that’s by design.

Anyone who has spent some time listening to Biden’s platitudes over the last year could have predicted the content of his awful and deeply dishonest speech. While calling for “unity” and healing, Biden declared that democracy had “prevailed” with the victory of his party. But much work remains to be done, as America is under attack by “political extremism” and “white supremacy” that festers in the hearts and minds of untold numbers of citizens.

Who are these kulaks standing in the way of the promised land? The Washington Post warns of a “disease that seems to have taken hold in the nation’s nervous system.” John Brennan gives a clearer view of this “insurgency” that needs to be isolated and destroyed, which includes “religious extremists, authoritarians, fascists, bigots, racists, nativists, even libertarians.”

Understand, this new threat of “domestic extremism” is exclusively a phenomenon of the Right. Nothing the Left ever does can be considered extreme, as all decent people know, after a summer of “mostly peaceful” anarchy and arson.

The difference between resistance and sedition, between protests and insurrections, is who’s in charge. Democrats resist Republican elected officials. Republicans however commit sedition against Democrat elected officials. Democrats protest, Republicans riot. These aren’t distinctions in law. The only real distinction is who’s in power and who’s on the barricades.

Political hypocrisy isn’t a new phenomenon, but Democrats weaponizing the national security state to suppress the political opposition over the same behavior they engage in is a serious threat to the survival of the United States as anything other than a banana republic in a civil war.

Democrats repeatedly claimed that the Bush Administration’s campaign against terrorists was punishing political dissent, but despite these false claims, Bush’s counter-terrorism never even came close to eavesdropping on, investigating, or shutting down the political opposition.

That didn’t stop Democrats from repeatedly invoking the Gestapo and the Stasi when attacking the Patriot Act, Ashcroft, and Gonzalez. It also didn’t stop them from abusing the Patriot Act and the national security system built to fight Communists and Islamic terrorists to target members of Congress and the political opposition including President Trump and his associates.

Democrats and the media quickly got back to comparing President Trump to Hitler and accusing him of fascism, yet his administration never did to Biden what Obama had done to Trump. The Trump administration didn’t eavesdrop on Biden associates under the guise of national security. The damaging material about Hunter Biden and his father’s ties to China came out of a laptop shop in Vermont, not from the synthesis of political operatives and national security personnel which had exploited the Steele Dossier’s false claims about Trump and Russian prostitutes.

The Republican governing class has failed to come to terms with the reality that its Democrat counterparts operate by a very different definition of law and government than they do. The Democrats don’t simply disregard the Constitution, as they have ever since Woodrow Wilson, but they regard their own power as legitimate and the power of Republicans as illegitimate.

Republicans take a legal or philosophical perspective on everything while Democrats have an expedient activist take on it. Republicans turn to the law or tradition, while Democrats decide whether the Filibuster, the Electoral College, the institution of marriage, the existence of white people, and the biological reality of women serves their purposes or ought to be eliminated.

When Republicans failed to carry out a meaningful reckoning of Obama’s national security abuses they didn’t just allow an injustice to go unpunished, but they ensured a much worse repetition by emboldened Democrats who committed the worst political abuse of the national security system that had been possible until then and got away with it. That’s the next step.

The Biden administration is moving to criminalize the political opposition, to investigate and dismantle it using all of the tools at its disposal. That is the only thing Republicans can expect. It’s exactly what they should have been expecting all along. Obama’s abuses of the national security state were not an outlier. They are the new normal. And they’re only going to get worse.

That they will. But will we have gulags too? I mean, how can we say we’ve been Sovietized with a straight face unless we have gulags?

In contemporary America, where the walls are closing in on the individual—obliterating traditional notions of freedom—we find ourselves crossing the threshold into an American-style gulag, where the fortifications that have shored up a centuries-long quest for a more perfect union, are beginning to buckle.

Although the constriction of our liberties on the road to socialism accelerated at warp speed with COVID, the George Floyd riots, and now the election of Biden-Harris, it didn’t happen overnight. America’s political journey has been riddled with progressive inroads: Wilson’s expansion of the administrative state, Roosevelt’s New Deal, LBJ’s Great Society, ObamaCare, onerous taxes and regulations, judicial activism, and Democrat legislation increasing the power of the federal government. 

With Biden’s election and a Democrat-controlled Senate, the malignant “Woke-Cancel Culture” has fully metastasized into our body politic. Talk of purges and persecution are commonplace. Journalists, politicians, activists and rank-and-file Democrats demand the country be cleansed of all things Trump. Those who served in his administration or supported him must be blacklisted from future employment. The children of Trump voters must be deprogrammed. Conservatives must be put in re-education camps and deradicalized. Wannabees of Pavlik Morozov, the child hero who betrayed his family to Soviet authorities, scan social media for anti-woke transgressions to use against family, neighbor, and classmate.

There are uncomfortable echoes here of a “Final Solution” to the “Trump Question.” That these sentiments are brazenly expressed without blowback or regard for their meaning or history, is a testament to our one-sided First Amendment and the unbridled fervor that can lead history to repeat itself. We cannot turn a blind eye to these harsh realities.

Hoft got a letter from a reader in Ireland. I’ll interject myself here and there in this post, not out of orneriness cruelty or anything, but to try to explain a aspects that seem to have eluded him.

Hate to say it, Mr. Hoft – You fought the good fight, and alas it did not go your way. I like you was hoping for a Trump administration no matter how imperfect at the very least it would have preserved many core values dear to us all. Sad to say it appears the spawn of hell has now taken over not only congress but the White House too. My heart is saddened for the decent American people that desire to make your country great again, God knows the entire world needs a strong and honorable America but sad to relate what has happened in your country has made you and the democratic idea the laughing stock of the world; what a loss to mankind. Satan is now loose on the world like never before aided and abetted by Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, Cuomo, Schiff, and many RINOs, assisted by their supportive cohorts within the mass media and big tech.

Minor quibble: the “spawn of hell” didn’t take over Congress and the WH. The WH they took back; Congress, they never really lost at all.

These people have no shame, no sense of decency, no honor, and no loyalty to your Constitution and Bill Of Rights.

You expect too much of the hellspawn, I’m afraid, although your other assessment of their “character” is certainly on point. After all, how can one feel loyalty to a Constitution one actively loathes, and wishes to see destroyed?

I live in Ireland, I’m a patriotic Irishman, I believe in God and try to live my life according to God’s Will but it’s getting harder with the passing of each day.

All my life I never felt hate or malice towards any man but now as I look around me and observe what is going on in our world particularly in America I am hard-pushed to contain those malignant emotions.

Be not ashamed, laddie-buck. When men have repeatedly shown themselves to be profoundly, pridefully evil, it is no less than the solemn duty of any decent, honorable human being to feel hatred and malice towards them. Any leavening of the appropriate utter revulsion for such besmirches one’s own soul.

It seems also that our religious leaders and churches have deserted us all, when we need them most they are silent in the face of this pervasive evil.

Again, it’s far worse than you think. Too many of them are actively in league with it.

We need a wake-up call in Ireland also, American big tech rules the roost over here and our weak-kneed politicians are forever kowtowing to their whims and demands.

They aren’t weak-kneed, and I do badly wish otherwise right-thinking people on both your side of the pond and our own would stop saying it. Thinking of them as “cowards” or “gutless” boobs trapped in a repetitious pattern of “failure” ascribable to a personal flaw—rather than the fully-conscious acts of treachery and collusion they really are—provides an excuse for the deceitful scoundrels that is far more charitable than they deserve. They are co-conspirators, colleagues, and clients. Or maybe “employees” might be more apt. But “weak-kneed”? “Cowards”? The brazen audacity of their corrupt skullduggery puts paid to that silly notion all by its lonesome.

The liberties and freedoms that our forefathers died for are now erased and sadly forgotten, we as a people need to raise our voices once again. For example, Google interfered openly and without any objections been raised by our politicians with our referenda on Gay Marriage and Abortion. What we treasured most as a nation – family and the sanctity of human life have now been consigned to the dustbin of time.

The European Courts decreed that Apple Computers owed the Irish Exchequer over 14 Billion euros in unpaid taxes and what did our government do it contested the court’s ruling for and on behalf of Apple, what power do they have over us ????, I could cite crazy examples like this all day long but I’ll refrain from doing so lest my head explodes. FaceBook another criminal organization along with Twitter, and a host of the other world’s biggest big tech companies alongside banking and investment groups are all headquartered in Dublin, not for the benefit of the Irish Economy but for their own benefit as each and every one of them has sweetheart deals regarding tax with the Irish Exchequer. Sometimes I wonder is Dublin one of the biggest criminal enterprises in the world, controlled and run by the American Chamber of Commerce situated in Dublin.

One of the biggest? Oh, absolutely not. Whether we’re talking land mass or population, the Emerald Isle has a lot of very stiff competition in the criminal-government department, several of which kleptocracies are much, MUCH bigger.

I digress, my apologies, it was not my intention to burden you with the problems in my country but you must realize that what happens in America always directly impacts my country.

That’s the bright side, see: as FUSA’s collapse hastens and deepens at the greedy hands of its own feckless, clueless rulers, its influence and importance will similarly diminish. Eventually, Amerika V2.0 will be about as relevant globally as any other Third World banana republic. Its desperate floundering and flapping about will be of no use; eventually, the raging seas of Matters Too Big For It will drag the once-mighty nation under, and it will die the death.

That is why I’m saddened by the outcome of what clearly is a stolen election, a country with a fraudulent President whose name I will not mention because it sickens me to do so has lost a magnificent opportunity to set a lot of things right not just for you but for us also.

We can’t really be said to have “lost” the opportunity; actually, we spurned it, we discarded it. To our eternal discredit, alas, and to our great cost as well. Now the country that passively sat back and allowed the thieves to get away with their crime scot-free will get exactly what it deserves—no more, no less.

Might I suggest a more practical means of corraling the bastards, then? Something more along the lines of, say, a very tall fence? Or, better yet, how about a multi-layered approach, beginning with a Big Beautiful Wall? Guard towers with sharpshooters, armed guards walking the perimeter 24-7, natch, all with a weapons-free directive in effect. Next, a moat—well-stocked with hungry alligators, natch. A minefield enclosing that, the whole shebang topped off with a literal Wall Of Fire, perpetually stoked. Call it the Bonfire of Liberty, an eternal flame safeguarding our freedom by physically reducing all verminous-Left threats to so much crackling ash.

America is entering a terrible period in its history at an accelerating pace, now that the Left has taken control of all the critical reins of power in the government, the mainstream media, social media, and big tech. Unfortunately, history teaches with laser clarity that there are no guardrails restraining the behavior of the Left when it is so empowered.

Normative legacy Judeo-Christian values usually provide self correction against outrageous excesses from the Right. Even when conservatives have the power, they restrain themselves from, for example, committing full-on genocide. An example of this is seen in the late 19th Century, when it was completely within the power of the American government to implement a “final solution to the Red Indian problem,” but the government and the American people, then grounded in Judeo-Christian values, did not do so. (This is not to excuse the execrable and destructive Indian reservation system, but it was not genocide.) Likewise, America could have utterly destroyed Germany and Japan after 1945, but we did not do so. The harshly punitive Morgenthau Plan proposed by FDR’s socialist Secretary of the Treasury for post-war Germany came close in its intention, but it was not implemented.

By comparison, the secular atheist (and now frankly insane) American Left has no self-correction mechanism. (Examples of contemporary Leftist insanity: transsexuals welcomed into the military, biological boys ordered onto girls sports teams and in girls locker rooms, etc.) This Leftist insanity is anything but unprecedented. From the French Revolution, to the Paris Commune, the Bolshevik Revolution and through all the horrors of 20th Century Communism, the Left has proven that when it is unchecked, it will drive at full speed straight off the cliff of civilized norms of behavior into totalitarian systems of guillotines, Gulags, forced starvations, and killing fields.

This is an old, played-out movie we’ve seen far too many times. We already know how it ends.

Pretend pResident Biden’s “inauguration” speech: a review

While he was delivering his address, I was so focused on the question of the day—would he get through it without zoning out?—that I barely noticed how vapid and mendacious the speech itself was.

But it was both of those things, in spades—vapid and mendacious.

It was ironic to find oneself listening to such a piece of drivel after four years during which the media told us, repeatedly, that Donald Trump spoke at the level of a middle schooler—and spoke too roughly and bluntly, in a style that was scandalously “unpresidential.”

After the speech, Biden and Harris drove out to Arlington National Cemetery. Why wait till the last minute? I wondered whether she was bringing along a shovel.

But back to the speech. Reportedly composed in part by Jon Meacham, that slick operator, it was delivered by a wraithlike figure who may or may not have been fully aware of what he was saying as he read the words off his teleprompter. All in all, a dispiriting and rather creepy experience. But the media, after four years of depicting Trump as a semi-literate Satan, felt obliged to celebrate Biden as a silver-tongued saint.

Chris Wallace of Fox News called it “the best inaugural address I ever heard.” George Stephanopoulos of ABC said it was “powerful.” On CNN, Van Jones proclaimed that “there was not one part of that that wasn’t just medicine in the wound…Joe Biden is going to train us to see the world differently.”

Ridiculous, all of it, needless to say, although that last bit from Jones brushed up against a certain unsettling truth. First, note that Jones’ vision was right out of scripture: “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth” (Revelations 21:1). And don’t forget St. Paul: “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known” (1 Corinthians 13:12). All of which fits neatly into the new practice of treating Biden as quasi-divine.

No, Biden can’t train us to see the world anew. But with enough power, he and his party, which now controls both houses of Congress, may well be able to compel a great many of us to pretend, at least, out of a sense of self-preservation, to see the world through a new set of eyes—in short, to parrot obediently the brave new gospel of critical race theory, white supremacy, gender fluidity, and so on. Lies, all of them, but refuse to subscribe to them and you’ll risk being branded an enemy of the truth.

The addle-pated Rapist In Thief won’t be “training” me to do a goddamned thing, neither jack nor shit, no matter how unctuously he urges his Brave New World on me. He is not my President, and his “America” is not my country. They can both burn in Hell for a thousand years for all me, and their miscellaneous and sundry brigades of orcs right along with ’em.

The play’s the thing

Come Wednesday, the curtain rises on the staging of a new shitshow from Banana Republic Productions™.

A legitimate President would not need to be sworn in under the protection of 25,000 armed soldiers. This is how elections work in Venezuela. No, the Democrats are putting on a show of power, get that, power. They are projecting this to happen if you choose to protest the Biden presidency and the Congress.

Reports are being released that 25,000 troops have been called up to “protect” the presidential inauguration of Joe Biden. Think about it in these terms; these 25,000 troops were never called out during the summer and fall by Democratic mayors and governors in New York City, Seattle, Portland, Chicago, Minneapolis, etc., to prevent rioting, murder, looting, and brigandry. No troops to help law enforcement restore order, protect property, or citizens’ rights.

Amerikans aren’t citizens, and they have no rights. Their rulers want to make sure they all know that, and will abide by it without resistance.

You’ve got to wonder if the National Guardsmen are torn on being there to defend the very people who defunded the police and basically could care less about anybody but themselves. Trump and his supporters support the National Guardsmen and the police. It’s amazing how the politicians don’t believe the average person needs protection, but they need 25,000 of our nation’s best resources.

The bottom line here is that this optics view of military strength shows we have a government that wants to control by fear. They clearly know nobody will try anything with 25k troops, but it’s the visual of dominance they want to project. Crack the whip! Reminds me of the communist-controlled countries in our world history. The big picture here, though, is they fail to see their involvement in this mess, nor do they care.

Hardly. They know EXACTLY what they’re doing. The play they’re staging isn’t a new one, and like all good actors they know the script by heart.

The Great Unwashed Unheard

Shout it out loud.

When the Black Lives Matter riots raged in cities around the country a spectrum of the leftist oligarchy, from the New York Times to the ACLU to the leadership of Washington State University justified them with Martin Luther King’s quote, “A riot is the language of the unheard.”

It was a strange claim to make about a movement that had the backing of the Democrat Party, the entire media, Coca Cola, IBM, and American Express. There was hardly a Fortune 500 company, university, or major organization of some sort that didn’t issue a statement of support for the race rioters rioting, looting, and killing their way across America.

A riot is not the language of the unheard. Most often it’s the language of extremists, radicals, and agent provocateurs. The real language of the unheard is frustration, mistrust, and despair. The job of the former is to covertly ally with a totalitarian regime to radicalize the unheard, polarizing society, and leading to a murderous confrontation that will affirm the establishment.

The Trump administration was a threat because it gave voice to the unheard and the inherent scam of a political system that claims to be representative, but only represents itself. Treating its overthrow as a liberation movement funded by some of the biggest and most powerful figures, organizations, and interests in the country, gets at the heart of the leftist political hoax.

It was far from perfect, but it frightened enough of the right people that it had to be destroyed.

There are two classes of riots. Those riots funded, encouraged, and deployed by the operatives of the establishment to demand “change” are protected and legitimized. Opposition riots are allowed to go far enough to cause a crisis and justify a ruthless crackdown, not on the agent provocateurs behind them, but on the non-violent political opposition to the establishment.

The more violence the establishment encourages from the ranks of the unheard, or most often, the provocateurs pretending to represent them, the more it can suppress the opposition. Its depiction of the unheard as violent and dangerous, irrational and a threat to society, allows it to wield unchecked power and further marginalize the unheard while feeding the cycle of violence.

The last generation has seen two political revolutions by the unheard, the Tea Party, and the Trump campaign, that were brought down from without and within. The establishment understands the threat of the revolutions that it dismissively labels as ‘populism’ because despite its constant posturing about values and the oppressed, it is wholly illegitimate.

America was never meant to be ruled by a single cultural class operating out of D.C., New York, San Francisco, and a handful of other cities and suburbs for its own benefit. No amount of black nationalist cosplay or advocacy for infinite genders can hide the illegitimacy of this system from anyone except the junior members of the establishment blinded by university indoctrination.

The establishment would like to talk about anything and everything except its own power. Everything in our politics is a basic distraction from that question. A populist conservative movement that can convincingly stay on that question and hammer it home will win.

And then the unheard might finally have a voice.

Which explains the current mad scramble of the Great Purge: the Enemy hopes to secure the Unheard’s silence, via a good, hard jackboot to the larynx.

Livin’ on Tehran time

Welcome to the New Iran.

“But the president of Iran gets to keep his Twitter account, and that’s not fair,” seems to be their thematic response.

Yes. That’s exactly right. Donald Trump does not get to have a Twitter account, but the president of Iran, and any other authoritarian hellhole dictator you can list, does. But it is time to stop scribing about the hypocrisy of the technocrats and the media and the radical Left, yelling, “See, look how hypocritical they are!” They are perfectly comfortable with their own hypocrisy. They only care about power.

It is also time to face a harsh reality: today’s American regime has far more in common with the Iranian regime than we’d like to think, and Americans are more like subjects of totalitarian tyrants than citizens who have consented to being governed.

You have lived in Iran for a long time now, but nobody has been willing to tell you that. So, good morning! It’s another beautiful day here!

You could be forgiven for thinking the author is being more than a little tongue-in-cheek about this New Iran thesis of his, but he’s dead on target if you ask me. Further backup for it:

The words “President Trump” would never have entered the history books if not for the Left and its relentless, pathological hatred of anyone to the right of center. If America is heading towards civil strife, it is because the Left—with the complicity of an opportunistic establishment—has slowly but surely nudged half the country into a corner.

The Left has categorized millions of ordinary people who just want decent, honorable lives as “far-right extremists” and “conspiracy theorists” who deserve to be silenced, fired from their jobs, and rendered socially untouchable. These “dangerous people,” held in such contempt by the Left and the ruling elite, retain such fringe notions as “nations should have borders” and “men and women are different.” The Left has been playing a game of “stop hitting yourself!” with these people for years, and in 2016, those people finally had enough.

It is now four years later and his supporters have watched the president they legitimately elected spend every waking moment in office fight a war of succession with a faction of narcissistic psychopaths. Without a single day of rest, the most powerful institutions in the country conspired in a temper tantrum to overturn the will of the people, all in the name of “democracy,” simply because they did not like who the people had chosen. From day one, they have treated Trump like a usurper whose mere election was an “insurrection,” and they have not concealed their disgust for his supporters, whom they regard as “racist,” subhuman scumbags.

With Trump gone, they will use the Capitol “insurrection” to further disenfranchise his supporters without hesitation. While many on the Right have condemned the Capitol protesters, hoping that by doing so they will be spared, the Left has already launched a propaganda offensive to convince the public that what transpired was one of the worst things ever to happen in American history, and the inevitable consequence of an aberrational presidency. Everyone who supports Trump now, or has ever supported him, is thereby implicated in this “terrorism.”

We find ourselves in an unsustainable situation. Millions of Americans never have felt more unwelcome in their own country, more disillusioned, or more vulnerable to an unaccountable enemy that hates them with a powerful, homicidal loathing. Their own party has unconcealed indifference and contempt for them. They’re “racists” and “conspiracy theorists” just for existing and having thoughts and perceptions that contradict the propaganda of the people who want to destroy them. If they try to defend themselves by voting, their votes will be dismissed as “illegitimate” and they will be branded enemies of the public.

When your back is at the wall and you’re facing a mob, sooner or later you have to defend yourself before they bludgeon you to death.

Hey, know of any other country where death by bludgeoning is pretty common? I can think of one.

Getting right down to business

They’re coming, and they’re not wasting any time about it.

As a devout Catholic, Biden understands that defensive violence is not merely a natural right, but the Catechism of the Catholic Church calls it a “grave duty.” St. Thomas Aquinas explained that “if a man, in self-defense, uses more than necessary violence, it will be unlawful: whereas if he repel force with moderation his defense will be lawful.”

This is why it is so puzzling that Democrats in Congress are pushing ahead with their controversial bills that would restrict Americans’ right to keep and bear arms. They may have forgotten that it was just last week that President-Elect Biden reminded us of his “hopeful prayer for peace, justice, and healing the world over.”

It is odd. Why don’t these Democrats understand that, as the leader of their own political party repeatedly tells us, this is a time for national healing?

One proposed new law, H.R. 127, would require “the licensing of firearm and ammunition possession and the registration of firearms” and ban the possession of certain ammunition. Another, H.R. 121, would “provide for the hiring of 200 additional Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agents and investigators to enforce gun laws.”

If you’re wondering what those 200 new ATF agents would do, H.R. 130 has an answer. That bill would “require the investigation of reports of improper storage of firearms or ammunition.”

Sadly, these proposals would further divide our troubled nation. The bizarre thing is that they have been introduced despite our president-elect telling us that it is time to “begin the work to heal and unite our nation!”

Very mysterious, innit? I have it on VERY good authority that nearly all Demonrat-Socialists pro-pols are avid hunters, hunting being the sole reason the 2A was written in the first place. Hey, if you don’t believe it, just ask ’em.

Although NormAm emphasizes Democrat-Socialists in his post, I note with disgust that one of the nine (count ’em, 9) listed affronts to the Constitution is sponsored by a Repugnican—from the great Republic of Texas, no less, same as the execrable Sheila Jackass Lee—a fellow yclept Burgess, Michael C. [R-TX-26]. I know nothing at all about the guy, but if you reside in his district, be sure not to leave him in the dark regarding your extreme displeasure over his perfidy. In my opinion, flaming bags of dogshit on his porch late at night might be a fine start.

Introduced on January 11th and referred to the House Judiciary Committee, the resolution proposes an “amendment to the Constitution of the United States to abolish the electoral college and to provide for the direct election of the President and Vice President of the United States.”

Authors of the bill include Rep. Cohen, Rep. Zoe Lofgren, Rep. Jan Schakowsky, Rep. Julia Brownley, Peter DeFazio, Rep. Adriano Espaillat, Rep. John Garamendi, and Rep. Jim Cooper.

Before revealing what the constitutional amendment would look like, the bill rebukes the electoral college as created in “an era of limited nationwide communication and information sharing” and resting on “an antiquated theory that citizens will have a better chance of knowing about electors from their home States than about Presidential candidates from out of State”

Pure, undiluted balderdash. That twaddle is not even REMOTELY what the Constitutional mandate for the Electoral College is all about—which I’m sure these disingenuous shitweasels know full well. The EC was intended to act as a bulwark against the tyranny of mob rule, the inevitable end state of direct democracy, a fatally-flawed system the Founders correctly distrusted, even feared.

It is absolutely intolerable, having to listen to these sewer rats piously puke up lecture after lecture about “preserving” America, “democracy,” the Constitution, and such from the fascist despot Trump’s depredations even as they beaver away at dismantling it all just as quickly as they can get it done.

Within hours of the breach of the Capitol, Graham, who failed for four straight years to fulfill his repeated promises to “get to the bottom” of Barack Obama’s corrupt FBI, called for a special task force to investigate the “domestic terrorists” involved in the January 6 incident. “Sedition might be a charge for some of these people,” the tough talker warned. “The people sitting in the chairs need to be sitting in a jail cell.”

Thankfully, Ms Lindey long ago proved zherself to be all mouth. So if he holds true to form, nobody needs to fear anything at all from him this time either.

Graham claimed Trump’s “actions” before the incident “tarnished” the president’s accomplishments in office—accomplishments, by the way, that Trump achieved with little help from Senate Republicans, including Graham.

Ending their reign in humiliation and defeat, capped off with final gasps of grandstanding and betrayal, is a fitting end to the GOP Senate in the Trump era.

Trump supporters, unfortunately, didn’t deserve what they got in the end, as they endured more mockery and contempt from the media, Democrats, and NeverTrump hucksters alleged to be in their own political party. The lax double standards that apply to BLM rioters and Antifa thugs, of course, did not apply to the handful of troublemakers who vandalized the Capitol. Just a short trip down memory lane showed politicians and journalists cheering the takeover of the Hart Senate Office Building in October 2018 by leftist “protestors” angry about Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination and attacks on U.S. senators. But that wasn’t enough to expose the hypocrisy of the moment.

Like so many times before—be it a mob in Charlottesville or pro-life high schoolers at the Mall in Washington—it was death by proxy. Reporters and pundits want to “cleanse” the country of 75 million Trump supporters, language unthinkable just four years ago.

Trump’s presidency will end, but it’s unclear where he goes from here. The Republican Party as we know it also is over; the GOP’s disloyalty to the president and his voters in the final stretch will not be soon forgotten. And Republican control of the Senate during the Trump era ends just how it began, in making a bargain to do the Left’s bidding and ultimately acting as the Democratic Party’s useful idiots.

Democrats will control the White House, the Senate, and the House for the first time since 2009. A feeble near-octogenarian will pretend to govern as his ambitious vice president waits in the wings for her chance to rule. Senator Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) will try to inflict God-knows-what on the country for at least the next two years.

It’s unlikely that will end well, either.

It didn’t have to end this way. Senate Republicans could have tackled election illegalities if for no other reason than to the placate the base. The president could have been far better prepared to confront voter fraud cases and stayed focused on the more provable examples rather than fringy, hard-to-prove accusations. The Republican Party could have acted like the Democratic Party by demanding state lawmakers in swing states push back harder.

But none of it happened.

Based on the information from Italy concerning the CIA’s manipulation of the 2020 presidential election, Texas formally declines to recognize Joe Biden’s inauguration. The dispute between Texas and the federal government is not resolved. Texas secedes citing the breach of the Constitution’s election requirements and voter fraud. Florida secedes and joins the new American Union (AU) under President Trump. Other states start to debate which is the legal government. The Biden administration orders federal troops to put down the “rebellion”.

What will people do in the existing United States when their state governments try to overthrow the new country since the majority of the people voted for Trump? Why is President Trump in Abilene, TX? If President Biden did not have dementia, he would realize that his “administration” will be short lived or dead on arrival.

I like it, but Texit ain’t gonna happen. As for Trump, if he’s at all smart he already got himself, his family, and as big a portion of his wealth as he could quickly gather the hell out of this blighted country altogether, and will never set foot here again.

2020 was the year many of the fairy-tales Americans have turned to for comfort and reassurance took it on the chin.

Perhaps the saddest casualty of 2020 is the myth that average Americans cherish their personal freedom. Politicians continually shifted the rationale for lockdowns – from flattening the curve, to ending “community spread,” to reducing cases to near zero. Regardless of the proclaimed rationale, most people submitted without a fight, and usually without even a whimper. Politicians and bureaucrats fanned mass fears which quickly ripened into hatred of anyone who did not comply with the latest edict.

States and cities across the country set up snitch lines that were soon deluged with complaints of people outside without a mask, meeting friends, or having more visitors in their homes than could fit in a phone booth. Many, if not most, people quickly acquiesced to the “new normal” where any government hack who recited the phrase “science and data” became entitled to rule their lives with an iron fist.

As the Harvard International Review warned, “The very methods that liberal democracies are currently using to effectively fight the virus are the same tactics that authoritarian leaders use to dominate their people. The tools that have been temporarily deployed in the fight against a once-in-a-lifetime disease may become permanent.” That was written on May 23, more than 15 million Covid cases ago – proof of the failure of lockdowns and pervasive restrictions to make Covid-19 vanish. But the miserable batting average of officialdom will vanish into the Memory Hole if politicians launch a campaign to make Covid vaccinations mandatory, complete with boundless vilification of anyone who balks at the injection.

Perhaps it has long been a myth that we live in a self-governing republic rather than a Leviathan Democracy where citizens merely make cameo appearances every few years at the voting booth. It is still possible that the catastrophic and pointless losses imposed by Covid crackdowns will finally awaken enough people to their growing subjugation. But the most dangerous myth is that Americans will finally become safe after they cease making any efforts to leash their rulers.

That’s the biggest myth of them all, one which desperately needs busting.
