Tyranny, straight up

As Limbaugh frequently did, one can only ask: WHO THE HELL DO YOU ROTTEN FUCKING BASTARDS THINK YOU ARE, ANYWAY?!?

Okay, maybe Rush never put it quite that way.

The U.K. Briefly Considered Killing All Pet Cats Early in the Pandemic

In the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, when little was known about the virus, the U.K. government briefly considered asking the public to exterminate every cat amid fears that the pets could spread the disease.

Lord Bethell, a former deputy Health Minister from 2020 to 2021, revealed the news Wednesday during an interview with Britain’s Channel 4 News.

“Can you imagine what would have happened if we had wanted to do that?” he added.

Well, I can certainly tell you what I HOPE would have happened, what SHOULD have happened. But the UK being the endarkened, blighted shitrapy it’s become, I seriously doubt anything much at all would have, sad to say.

The bombshell revelations have sparked astonishment from some on social media, with users sharing images of their own cats and vowing they would have put up a fight. 10 Downing Street’s own feline friend Larry’s unofficial Twitter parody account wrote: “hard not to take this personally.”

One would like to think so, surely. But then you groveling serfs didn’t raise much of a squawk about all the other things your tyrannical goobermint has taken from you over the years, now did ya?

According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, animals do not appear to play a significant role in spreading COVID-19 to humans, but cases of animals have been documented and most of them were “infected after contact with people with COVID-19.”

So, it’s us hoomans who pose a threat to the animals, not the other way ‘round, eh? Of course, that’s never been any obstacle to any government taking STRONG, VIGOROUS ACTION™ to save us all from something or other, now has it?

Despite this, some countries have pursued the mass culling of animals or pets in a bid to contain the virus. Hong Kong tested and euthanized some 2,000 hamsters in January 2022, after several tested positive for the virus in the weeks prior. Earlier on in the pandemic, in November 2020, Denmark culled 17 million minks over fears that a mutation could be transferred from minks to humans.

Denmark was the world’s largest mink producer and the decision was found to have no legal justification. The fallout prompted Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen to call a snap election in October last year after a member of her ruling coalition government threatened to withdraw their support amid the controversy.

Bold mine, because…well, y’know.

Never, ever fool yourself for a moment that there is ANYTHING AT ALL that ANY government, ANYWHERE, wouldn’t DARE to do with or to you, anytime it feels like it, for no reason whatsoever beyond that they just want to. “Legal justification”? “Moral/ethical propriety“? Scientific/medical/public-health emergency”? “Economic/military/cultural/climate ‘crisis’”? Stop it already, you’re killing me over here. Sorry and all, but that ain’t the way this works. Your pets; your charcoal grills; your gas stoves; your cars; your guns; your money; your home; your very lives—all those and plenty more are fair game, just grist for the mill.

Once the Superstate beast has been allowed to establish itself and begun to spread its leathery wings in triumph, there’s no longer a single thing that’s out of bounds. We don’t have to like it. We DO have to live with it. And as the Founders well knew, that’s never a good or pleasant thing.

The results are in: masks and lockdowns are the BUNK

Don Surber’s title really says it all.

Masks worked. They just didn’t stop covid
New York Times columnist Bret Stephens pointed out what was obvious three years ago: masks don’t stop viruses. Nothing short of a hazmat suit does. Viruses make their rounds every few years, eventually deteriorating into a strand of the common cold. They are deadly at first. Indeed, this manmade concoction has killed 1.12 million Americans.

But that is less than 1% of the population; in fact it is 1/3rd of 1% of the population.

And even that “1.12 million Americans” number is the bunk as well, grossly inflated to include as it does deaths by gunshot wound, traffic accident, cancer, flu, random misadventure, and anything else the lying liars of FederalGovCo could misattribute to FauxVid and hope gullible panic-ninnies would gulp down whole.

I was sanguine about the virus. The masks and social distancing were medical theater just as TSA is security theater. Both make the public feel safer, and as an added bonus they give the Karens on the left a reason to feel morally superior to those of us who realize it is all for show.

At the height of the mask hysteria, Kyle D. Killian wrote in Psychology Today, “This week, on social media, I reposted a photo of a white woman carrying a sign that reads ‘I’d Rather Bury My Family From COVID Than See Them Enslaved to the Fear of It.’ Why? I was curious about others’ thoughts on it.”

He wrote, “Highly educated intellectuals—people literally paid to type and talk—must resist the urge to make fun of this person or to lecture down to them about virology, science, etc. What is key, crucial in fact, is not dismissing or mocking this person, but interpreting the signage as an indicator of a fear-based response.

“In this case, masking requirements have been equated in this person’s mind to a fundamental loss of freedom or liberty.”

ANALYSIS: True. Because that is EXACTLY what they were, and ALL that they were. The real problem for Killian and his ilk is that a small handful of us still give a damn about that, rather than being not just willing but eager to surrender essential liberty in exchange for a false sense of security and safety, like the vast majority of gutless pussies here in the Land of the Skeer’d and the Home of the Slave.

…”Fear has clouded this person’s thinking; instead of seeing social distancing and masks as a way of caring for others, putting the Golden Rule into action, or acknowledging that some folks feel just fine but are actually asymptomatic carriers of coronavirus, she sees them as a threat.”

Fuck you and your ersatz Golden Rule all to death, pusnuts. Quite the contrary, in truth: fear has clouded panic-ninny thinking, to the extent that it has made THEM a threat—a credible and serious one, which is going to have be dealt with mercilessly because better men and women than your kind will ever be have permitted you to get away with this creeping paternalistic incrementalism for far too long.

Which brings me to Mister Stephens, who occasionally is an isle of sanity in that Sea of Craziness that calls itself the New York Times. He has taken shots at the Pandemic Panic amid the screeching of the baboons who run that zoo.

On April 24, 2020, barely a month into the two weeks to flatten the curve, he wrote, “America Shouldn’t Have to Play by New York Rules. A national lockdown is bad medicine and worse politics.”

He was half-right on the second line. It was bad medicine, but it was excellent politics for the opponents of Making America Great Again who wanted to get rid of President Trump. Stephens’s heart was in the right place in 2020.

He wrote, “I write this from New York, so it’s an argument against my personal interest. But I don’t see why people living in a Nashville suburb should not be allowed to return to their jobs because people like me choose to live, travel and work in urban sardine cans.”

Okay, then. I’m in no wise a huge fan of Bret Stephens myself, but I do have to admit that last bit was damned well-reasoned and -expressed.

The lesson learned is never trust Washington. The American people can be fooled — but only once. It is time to live the words of General Stark, who fought for the freedoms we have. There are worse things than covid. One is masks. Another is suffering the self-righteousness of the ignoramuses who pushed masks.

Annnnd whoot, there it is. As some of us said from the very beginning of this shameful, endless fiasco, the primary issue was never about masks, (anti-)social distancing, or even public health in general. It was about liberty, no more nor less. And once you’ve traded that priceless jewel away for a mess of “safety” pottage, there’s one and only one way you’ll ever get it back again. However many of their despicable progeny have long since either forgotten, willfully abandoned, or outright rejected that fundamental truth, our Founding Fathers knew it well enough, and some few of us still do today.

So be it, then.

The Forever Plan(demic)

More “experts,” God help us.

Are there places you should still mask in, forever? Three experts weigh in

There are still hundreds of thousands of COVID cases reported in the U.S. each week, along with a few thousand deaths related to COVID.

“Cases,” yet. Another word redefined for the convenience of shitlib tyrants and wannabe despots. “Related” to Fauxvid—do I detect the faintest pitter-pat of the wretched orphan Honesty, coming in on its little cat-feet? I mean, they for once didn’t claim these deaths were from Fauxvid, y’know?

But with mask mandates a thing of the past and the national emergency health declaration that will expire in May, we are in a new phase of the pandemic.

No, we are not. There is no longer a “pandemic,” the “pandemic” is over. Even Pedo Jao Bai-Deng said so, back last September. Not exactly a source one would want to count on in the normal run of things, of course. But hey, even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

Life looks a little more normal here in the U.S. than it did a few years ago, but decisions on how to deal with the virus aren’t over yet.

And they never will be, not as long as Americans remain tolerant of your precious “experts” making all their decisions for them.

China had a huge increase in cases last month after abandoning its zero COVID policy, and another variant prompted renewed recommendations in some airports. Researchers estimate that more than 65 million people are struggling with the effects of COVID — a disease we still have to learn about.

Speak for yourself, and the rest of the pussified and pusillanimous. The intelligent, observant, and independent of mind know everything about The Virus The Virus The Virus!™ they’ll ever need to, thenksveddymuch.

Wondering if and when you should still be masking up? NPR asked some experts.

“Experts,” forsooth.

Said “experts” tell us everything you would expect from them, and nothing you wouldn’t: Be afraid, be very afraid, every minute of every day, for the rest of your micromanaged existence, until you are given permission to do otherwise by Proper Authority. For the Greater Good, as always.

The rest of the NPR piece amounts to a rhetorical firehose-nozzle spraying metric tons more of this patent horseshit over all and sundry, which shouldn’t come as any great surprise to anybody; it is, after all, NPR—Official State Media, the Mouth Of Sauron—we’re talking about here.

I have to confess, I’m beginning to be as pessimistic about the likelihood of Heritage Americans ever rising up to throw off the yoke of this oppression as our good friend Wes usually is.

The burning question

TL asks it.

If Not War, Then What?

One cannot be loyal to the United States of America, that government is gone, overthrown, dismissed. The only thing left of it are the documents that rightfully informed the people of their God-given rights and some formative departments and offices that maintain the structure of the government, but without the effectiveness or responsibilities thereof. Our government is performance art, nothing else.

What can be done? What can we do about it? That’s a question that, in truth, has a violent answer. When a people have been stripped of every aspect of privacy; had their wages and incomes (completely different things) subjected to digital confiscation at any moment; are being forcefully injected with poison; watched the past generations being snuffed out in nursing homes and their children and grandchildren either killed outright or chemically altered to prevent reproduction; have come to know that the future is even more oppressive, violent and hostile and that the process of altering that formulation of caustic actions against them is now politically impossible, the only thing left is to recognize the enemy and engage them.

Since I cannot imagine a commission of demonic acts greater than that to which we have already been subjected, I doubt anyone will do anything no matter how vile and vengeful our illegitimate government is. We are stuck in a 1950s frame of mind about America and being subjected to a 1984 dystopian reality without the will or ability to engage in a 1946 Athens, TN response.

So, what’s left?

Fret not, TL. People just have to get good and hungry, that’s all, and there aren’t enough of those people quite yet.

Until then, all we can do is wait…and watch. The concept of Constitutional liberty, as an issue, has faded almost completely from the picture for the majority of Americans (In Name Only); some don’t really care much either way about it, some are actively, openly hostile to it. Many of those who might once have been motivated to action by it have been lulled to sleep by indolence, sloth, and relative comfort and ease. Even those who recognize how truly awful the situation has become nonetheless feel no urgency, no impetus to risk their homes and lives to finally do something about it.

Yet.

Yes, the notion of the Former USA as the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave is now nothing but an obscene joke. But as with all aspects of life on this poor Earth, these things too are by no means permanent. Once their children are going hungry—wailing out loud from the physical anguish that comes along with too-long-empty bellies—and they can no longer find either the means or the ability to put food on the table for them…well, we might all be surprised at just how powerful a wake-up call that is, for all parents with the least shred of dignity and self-respect left to them.

Unworthy world order

If the over-optimistically misnomered “free world” is no longer anything like free, what about it could possibly be worth striving to save?

Why Preserve a ‘World Order’ Without Freedom?

It has become fashionable now for lawmakers to demand accountability for the social media site TikTok because it is finally being correctly acknowledged as both an intelligence-gathering net and propaganda fire hose for the Chinese Communist Party. The irony, though, is that Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Google Search provide the U.S. government with identical tools. The D.C. Deep State does not mind if Americans are spied on and psychologically manipulated by government actors; on the contrary, it seeks a total monopoly on such influence operations.

To enjoy personal liberty free from the arbitrary intrusions of government nosy-bodies, you have to get pretty far away from the shadow of State authority. Even then, because the national security surveillance structure is pervasive, an isolated campfire in a remote wood is still most likely being caught by somebody’s overhead satellite for some unknown reason. If you are unable to escape from the watchful eyes of the government’s complex monitoring system, then the inner mind becomes the last refuge for any freethinker — so long as those personal thoughts are not communicated out loud.

So freedom is chased farther and farther away from hubs of government tracking, farther and farther into the recesses of one’s mind, until it can be exercised only in the silence of one’s imagination. Make no mistake: the imposition of “silence” is intentional. Governments understand that the best way to prevent the spread of ideas that might threaten their grip on power is to prevent those ideas from ever being spoken out loud. To silence dissent is to squash opposition. To criminalize thought is to enslave the mind. That’s the “freedom” enjoyed by a prisoner, not a living, breathing citizen of any “free world.” If you have been corralled into a mental prison against your will, though, then the best question to ask is this: what would you be willing to do to escape?

Cameras, computers, artificial intelligence — there’s just no way out! Do you know that every generation of humans confronted with new technological weapons has said the same thing?Their cannon are too powerful! Their ships are too many! It is futile to resist! Yet people do resist, and over time, they realize that it is ultimately not the technology that threatens their freedom, but rather the governments that would choose to use that technology without respect for human rights or natural liberties.

Precisely, indubitably so. Over the course of my life, I’ve heard the exact same bitching and moaning over the advent of color TV, then cable TV, then VCRs, then the Innarnuts, then cell phones, then smart phones and tablets, etc etc ad infinitum ad nauseam. No, no, and oh hell no. No grumpy comment-section Neo-Luddite screaming “we must get rid of (insert name of new tech here), we must get rid of (insert other new tech here)!” is at any real hazard of being enslaved by said new-tech devices. Not as long as they retain the intestinal fortitude to simply put the blasted thing down, they ain’t.

Bottom-line summation: it’s the government, stupid.

To create and sustain a “free world,” citizens actually have to be willing to stand up to their governments and say, “No, you cannot do that; you do not have that power; now go away.” Usually, governments (which exist purely because they assert a monopoly over the legitimate use of force) then load their cannon and surround rebellious ports with an overwhelming number of ships as a demonstration of how their “legitimate” force somehow justifies the theft of others’ freedoms. For the citizenry on the receiving end of such violence, this translates to nothing more than “might makes right.”

What they learn in the process is that government power untethered from principle is neither righteous nor worth preserving. The harsher and more unjust governments become toward their citizens, the more likely movements for freedom take hold. When scrappy underdogs prevail over unbeatable foes and “turn the world upside-down,” they do so with tremendous help from their tormentors’ hubris.

Lindsey Graham is right about this much: the world order is at stake. Freedom around the world is under attack from those governments sworn to protect it, and their betrayal imperils peace. I saw a headline recently that blared, “Rogue Hog Turns Tables, Kills Butcher.” Imagine my surprise when I discovered that the news had nothing to do with politics. Although, given that the homicidal hog had been repeatedly shocked with a stun gun and kept in a tiny enclosure on his way to becoming BBQ, his story could be a prudent allegory after all.

Freedom ain’t free; never has been, never will be. It is not a gift from some benevolent and wise government; no government in history has been willing to even pay lip service for very long, as ours no longer bothers about doing, to “preserving” and/or “defending” it as it grows ever larger and more intrusive. The priceless jewel of freedom can only be seized and then scrupulously maintained, nearly always by force of arms wielded by strong, determined lovers of individual liberty resolutely unwilling to ever take “no” for an answer.

“Violence is not the answer”? The hell you say. It’s the ONLY answer, once a certain line in the sand has been stepped over. Unfortunately for us all, in Amerika v2.0 that grim threshold was crossed long ago.

This essay is depressing as all hell, but it’s also one of the estimable JB Shurk’s very best yet, of which you’ll surely want to read the all.

Beria’s apostles

America That Was was overthrown and taken without resistance.

I’ll be honest, I’m not patriotic to the United States of America. I’m patriotic to the concept of individual rights and freedoms. When the United States of America was a vessel to carry those rights and freedoms to every American, I was patriotic to it. When it became hostile to those rights and freedoms, I stopped being patriotic to it. Where the United States of America has embraced an ideology in contravention of those principles, reaching more and more into the surveillance state and seeking every means of control, i.e., food distribution, energy rationing, electrical grid manipulation, capturing and enslaving children in indoctrination centers, the mind control and even genocide that has lately been exposed, I reject it completely and in every way.

The clever and important distinction is when they captured our politics and politicians they left in place the traditional means of gaining support through elections, but completely corrupting them to the point where no success for individual rights and freedoms could be won through the vote. Despite the fact that the Brunson case was refused by the Supreme Court does not make it’s point invalid, in only means we have cowards and traitors in the Supreme Court and the congress of the United States. No surprise, because the United States Constitution has been overthrown. This is not a theory, it’s a fact. While some judges and some courts might still entertain the concepts of the Constitution in their rulings, it is most often performative and a way to continue the ruse that there has been no coup. But there has.

You are living in a foreign nation. This fact is driven home by the unabated invasion of the world’s population through the southern border. The absence of borders is a capitulation to the world of a non-nation. America is a an open playground for pedophiles and drug dealers. Fentynal is killing almost as many young people as the vaxx. Yet, there is no backlash, no investigation, no criminal charges, just a lot of people dying at the hands of an overactive or underactive police state.

This is the point, they prosecute the people who expose the truth and refuse to prosecute the people who are committing the crimes. A nation can be no more compromised than that.

I’m not saying we should start a war against these people, I’m saying that they have started a war against us and we’re not putting up any resistance. We’re worse than France, because at least they had a resistance to the Nazis, we don’t.

Worse than those cheese-eating surrender monkeys? Dammit, TL, that smarts.

Evil so pure and powerful, even Satan himself sits back in awe and envy

However bad you thought it was, it’s actually much, much worse.

No Amnesty, No Quarter, No Excuses For ALL Officials

This all stands as fact folks.

  • There were effective alternatives that were deliberately not investigated and used. I reported on many of them along with the evidence for their use whether said evidence was weak, intermediate, strong or it appeared they were worthless. I also called for queries into government databases (e.g. CMS with regards to Plaquenil which is used by a large number of people for RA and Lupus) to see if there was statistical support for them being infected at lower rates early on in 2020. Said queries were trivially easy and had those results been published the strength (or not) of said substances and a reasonable risk:reward computation would have been rapidly, within months, established. It was never done despite the fact that the statistical power of a sample of a million people in a “natural experiment” is enormous and almost-impossible to “rig”. Government officials had the data and they deliberately and maliciously refused to use it.
  • The shots were and today are fraudulently called “vaccines” when they were and are not and the Federal Government knew it before they were deployed. This fraud went so far as to redefine the term “vaccine” on government pages. I will note that we have always, for the entire time I’ve been alive prior to Covid, called the flu shot a shot for this exact reason; it very frequently does not induce sterile immunity and whatever immunity it does generate is temporary and thus it is not a vaccine. Birx has admitted this was true for the Covid shots on camera, in public — it was known to her (and anyone else who read the material including myself which I reported on at the time) that the shots did not induce sterile, stable immunity. They are not vaccines, the only argument for a mandate of any sort rests on the induction of sterile and stable immunity because only such an event can benefit anyone other than the person taking the treatment and changing the definition of something post-hoc is an admission that you intentionally mislabeled whatever it was and is.
  • The shots were known to be ineffective within months and yet the standards that require a non-emergency drug to be withdrawn under that circumstance or if it causes material injury, which it does, were not followed because of said legal structure and this too was and to this day remains intentional. The most-recent data is that the so-called “bivalent” shot is about 30% effective which makes it illegal to approve it under long-standing FDA rules as it does not meet the threshold requirements for effectiveness even if it was completely safe, and it isn’t.
  • Other countermeasures both for early and later infections that some physicians and others believed would work, and in fact some that Fauci himself said would likely work years earlier were deliberately excluded and when “tried” the trials were rigged either by deliberate delay in use beyond where they would be expected to function, by wildly-toxic and inappropriate doses or both. Others, such as hydroxyurea which demonstrated 80-90% effectiveness in patients so sick they were transferred to a palliative care hospital and written off during early and mid 2020 were not registered for a clinical trial and tested at all. To this day there has been no investigation of that cheap, off-patent and widely-used (for sickle-cell disease) drug. If you found something for any other disease that rescued more than 8 out of 10 critically-ill patients who were all expected to die you’d win a Nobel prize. Well?
  • The common and expected right to refuse a course of medication or treatment and use alternatives, which is a natural right of every human as a mere consequence of being human, was not only ignored those who attempted to enforce that right were refused, in some cases with the threats of violence and physical removal from hospitals, and said refusal was repeatedly enforced by courts. This is unprecedented as at the point you’re already sick whether you can potentially communicate the disease to others is moot; now its a fight for your life, literally, and you — nobody else — has the right to direct that fight. Except, of course, under these specific exemptions which again not one official has demanded be repealed.

Go ahead folks, excuse this if you wish.

Your mother, father, grandmother or grandfather, friends, other relatives, even your children who are dead died because of this and they are still being screwed to this day both in the context of Covid and the damned shots which we now know conclusively are not only not vaccines in that they do not induce sterile immunity they destroy existing immunity that came from infection.

None of this is conjecture — every bit of it is fact and every single government official including every single judge who failed to step in and stop this crap is guilty of the acts that caused those hundreds of thousands of Americans to die.

Are you going to not only let them get away with it but refuse to fix this so it can never happen again?

Remains to be seen, I guess. But if we do, then we only guarantee that it will happen again…and again…and again…and etc. When it comes to “fixing this so it can never happen again,” well, there’s only sure-fire way of accomplishing that.

Update! Did someone say “evil” just a minute ago? Why yes, I believe somebody did.

Wait, what?
“Vaccine” my ass

Western Civ, in a nutshell

As a not-at-all-great child-man once said: you would think they’d be saying thank you.

Yes. Really. Europe is the birthplace of Western Civilization. Even before the Greeks the Yamnaya of the European Steppes, inventors of the wheel and tamers of the horse we began. Their migrations brought their language and technology and culture to India, Persia, Scandinavia, Hispania, Rus and more. Their primary God was the father of Odin and Zeus/Jupiter.

Then, the Greeks and Romans developed Western Civilization. Byzantium carried on Rome until the Ottomans overran it. In Northern Europe the German warrior kings in Germania, Francia, and Brittania rekindled Roman technology, law, religion. They rediscovered the incredible and advanced scientific, mathematic, legal and philosophic though of Greece and more of Rome. They sailed forth into the unknown and charted the seven seas, mapped the world, developed all of the technologies the world so desperately wants and the legal and philosophical systems they want to burn only to enjoy the material scraps of once great people and nations.

They built cathedrals, advanced art, wrote cantatas and fugues and symphonies. They built universities, hospitals, sub-oceanic and satellite communications networks. They built railroads and invented aviation and the machines that made it possible. They split the atom and unleashed the safest cleanest form of energy man has ever discovered. They built spacecraft and ten of their great men walked on the moon. The West towered over the world in every dimension of civilization.

Then came the 60s. The subversives of the Frankfurt School and other aliens who would capitalize on the hubris and demoralization of a corrupt, ignoble, weak and short sighted managerial class in The West took root. In exchange for forestalling a manageable financial bankruptcy they sabotaged their people and their children to be nice to be everyone else as a facade for cowardice and feathering their own nests.

Or, rather, fouling them. As their ilk does, and always will do.

These comments that question the greatness of The West illustrate the fall – the demoralization and apologetic deference of a self defeated people. They suffer extreme demoralization and contempt for themselves and their ancestors. So now within The West we have arrived at the great bifurcation. Those who will recommit to themselves – the people who built The West. They will preserve themselves and its spirit manifest in its culture. They will survive and one day re-emerge to shine their great light upon the world.

The other fork will consist of those who will abandon themselves and stay lost in self loathing, moral confusion and self righteous self immolation that utilizes quackery produced anti-Western books as a crutch of righteous indignation – a cope to escape the demoralization of their fallen civilizations and nations. They will be overwhelmed by the rabble of globalist immigration who will repay their false belief that the foreign hordes will hold hands and join them in an endless chorus of Kumbaya for universal brotherhood. They will check out in medicine ceremonies, indulge in quack self help groups and honor the spirit ancestors of stone age hunter gatherers. They will thus spit on their ancestor’s graves. They will be overwhelmed by the foreign and angry rabble, and their lights will go out – for eternity.

That leads me to a major component of chaos that is missed entirely in JKH’s predictions. That is the massive wave of un-assimilated, alien, illegal and legal immigrants throughout Europe and America. They are currently supported and elevated above the indigenous and heritage populations of The West. They are taught and told to hate The West and the very populations who they were welcomed in to replace. Some groups carry a blood libel against the people and nations of The West. It is a libel that has been coddled and encouraged and facilitated by the degenerate and unfit ruling elites (who) can’t see what will happen when their children are a tiny minority who taught the new majority to hate them and to feel right in dispossessing them.

Add that hot spice to the cauldron and list of utter failings of the corrupt and suicidal ruling regime that turned against itself and its people who are The West.

History doesn’t repeat itself? Like bleedin’ hell it doesn’t.

Update! An alternative view from commenter Walter B: “The Tigris and Euphrates was the birthplace of civilization. Europe was the birthplace of the downfall of civilization.” Heh.

Whistling past the graveyard

There’s a larger point to be made about the Moore County power outage, and Denninger makes it.

Question: Why couldn’t this be immediately fixed?

Answer: They don’t have spares for the parts that were damaged.

Why do they not have the spares?

Because we sent our supply lines overseas, we made no provisions to have spares, and the regulators at the state and federal level sat on their hands and played with themselves instead of requiring that providers of critical services, such as electricity, had a sufficient stock of spares to cover both routine failures and those caused by weather or low-grade assaults perpetrated by small numbers of people.

This is the gross incompetence we have throughout our society.  It is the manifestation of “oh nothing bad will ever happen so we don’t have to be prepared for it” that has shown up in all manner of other places, such as the cars that are completed except for chips in their engine computers without which they will not run, and thus they’re sitting in a field unsold.

Rather than insist that such critical items be produced here in the United States, including all precursor components over the last couple of decades we did nothing of the sort.  We allowed the nickel to be “saved” and then pocketed by the shareholders, directors and officers while offshoring supply to China and other places which have no duty to US citizens.

We then went further in our official malfeasance and performed no audits or forced corrective action when the spares were not available and resupply looked possibly challenged, to the point that vehicles are stacked up and can’t be sold for want of a chip and now power is out in an entire county because the switchgear and transformers in two bog-standard substations that feed the area were damaged and the power company has no spares available to immediately replace them.

What you should learn from this is that this sort of disruption is tiny compared to what ever one hundred dedicated men, uncorrelated and thus unable to be interdicted in advance could do any time they decided to.

Further, while I’m sure they’ll find the parts somewhere in the US and restore power if the damage was to fifty counties instead of one the odds are high that said parts would not exist at all in the United States and might not be available in sufficient quantity to actually restore service to everyone for months or even longer.

A commenter over at Aesop’s joint hammers it in deeper.

Just in case you all are not aware of the reality of our power grid and the companies that maintain them. Regional depots have maybe 1 or at most 2 of those larger HV transformers sitting in a warehouse, these are the ubiquitous monsters about 10×10 ft that convert the high tension down to more usable voltages for local distribution in our towns and factories. The smaller pole mounted units, perhaps in the few hundreds per depot, seeing they are a more common failure point due to heat, leaks, lighting strikes, trees falling or wayward ordnance.

What this means is that if there is ever a real effort to damage our grid by enemies, foreign or domestic, there is not enough replacement equipment on the ground in the entire country to fix it quickly.

Now the cute kicker or as they say, “and now the rest of the story”. Most of our grid maintenance parts come from, yep, the PRC. And guess who will conveniently have “issues” in ramping up production for the export market, especially when they themselves are using most of the factory output internally (remember those 5 new coal plants going live/week over there)? Yes good sirs, we are royally screwed if any untoward events suddenly ramp up.

Bayou Pete brings it on home for us.

As a former Civil Defense sector officer, trained in disaster planning and recovery, allow me to assure you, that commenter is absolutely correct. His words apply to every country on the planet. The electrical utilities simply can’t afford to stockpile large quantities of replacement transformers. The bigger and more expensive the transformer, the fewer they’ll have on hand. Even simple components such as the glass insulators used on high-tension electrical cables criss-crossing the country are only stocked in limited quantities. If random individuals were to pause alongside rural roads and shoot out, say, a thousand of those insulators, there’d be the devil to pay to replace them all in the short term.  If they shot out ten thousand…forget about it. There aren’t enough power crews, let alone insulators, to repair that sort of damage in anything less than weeks, possibly months.

At this writing, there’s somewhere north of 35,000 North Carolinians sitting in the dark, in 30-degree weather, who won’t be getting their electricity restored until Thursday, as of the last estimate I saw. Not good. Not good a-TALL.

BOTTOM LINE: The US electrical grid, not just in semi-rural Eastern NC but nationwide, is fragile, hopelessly out of date, and entirely vulnerable to being taken down with preposterous ease—interminably, no training or specialized tools necessary, by any motivated passerby with a point of his own to make. Make of all that what you will. As Peter says: food for thought, indeed.

Update! AP puts it bluntly: “A LESSON IN ASYMMETRIC WARFARE IN MOORE COUNTY.” Pretty much, yeah, for anyone inclined to interpret it as such.

Activists Empty Tires on Dozens of SUVs in NYC

My grandmother used to tell me, “you can say almost anything you want as long as you say it respectfully.” That’s not entirely true for a bunch of reasons, but it can apply to specific situations. For instance, this group of climate “activists” deflating tires on SUVs in Brooklyn may have the right message, but delivering it through hundreds of flat tires is more likely to end in violence than any meaningful change.

It damned well ought to,  far as I’m concerned. In fact, it must—because unless and until such blatant, brazen criminality DOES spark violent retribution against these supremely self-righteous, out-of-control brats, it will continue indefinitely.

It’s important to note that while its actions could be perceived as vandalism by more persnickety SUV owners, it’s not calling for members to slash tires.

Pure bollocks, every single syllable of it. I assure you, it is NOT important to note any such thing. Well, unless you’re the kind of cowed, docile queef who doesn’t mind having to shell out for a tow-truck to haul your humble-victim ass to someplace with compressed air to reinflate your tires, that is.

The site details how to empty a tire using a small lentil or bean screwed under the valve stem cap and does not outline or encourage permanently damaging the tire. It’s possible – likely, even – that the SUV’s wheel or other components become damaged in the process, but the group is at least not openly calling for damage.

Don’t give a fat rat’s ass. By imposing real costs in time, hassle, effort, and cold hard cash, they’re DOING damage; whether they’re “calling for it” matters not one iota. Hopefully, one of the little twerps will soon find himself lying on the sidewalk slowly bleeding out after having been on the receiving end of a solid dose of some righteous hot-lead therapy, administered by a thoroughly pissed-off workaday schlub who’s finally had enough of this shit being imposed on him unasked-for.

I keep on saying it, and it keeps on being true: the sole reason garbage like this is occurring nowadays is because the perps have been allowed to get away scot-free with it for too long. Put an end to that, and you’ll solve the problem immediately. Not before.

The power of information control

It’s the first crucial step along the way to establishing dictatorial control over everything else.

In light of the clown show that was the election on Tuesday I wanted to share some of my thoughts on what I see as the path forward from here. I made a post on Gab yesterday that got tens of thousands of engagements both on and off Gab. I think it’s important to analyze why this post resonated so widely and where we go from here.

That’s Andrew Torba, following up on the Gab post I mentioned here last night.

One thing I noticed in the thousands of replies of this post is the unity across the generations. If you know anything about the Gab community, or perhaps from your own experience with the people in your own life, it’s that Boomers and Zoomers rarely agree on anything especially when it comes to political strategy.

On this subject though there seems to be a mass consensus across every generation from young to old: between election fraud, citizen disenfranchisement via decades of illegal aliens invading our country, and the Regime’s total control over the flow of information and censorship of any dissent: Republicans have zero chance of winning the Presidency in 2024.

Millions of people are waking up to the reality that a small percentage of the population controls 98% of the flow of information and news to the people. This is incredibly important. No other political issue matters more. He who controls the media controls the minds of the masses. It’s that simple.

Gab community member @PaxChristus made a post that demonstrates this reality well.

In Russia, where gay propaganda is banned, 70% of people oppose gay marriage and that number has been increasing in recent years.

In America, where opposition to LGBT is heavily censored, 70% of people support gay marriage and that number has been increasing in recent years.

Democracy is purely about information control.

As the top commenter on this post pointed out, German conservative revolutionaries like Oswald Spengler realized this in the early 1900’s.

Democracy has become a weapon of moneyed interests. It uses the media to create the illusion that there is consent from the governed. The press today is an army with carefully organized weapons, the journalists its officers, the readers its soldiers. The reader neither knows nor is supposed to know the purposes for which he is used and the role he is to play. The notion of democracy is often no different than living under a plutocracy or government by wealthy elites. -Oswald Spengler

People like Fetterman “winning” is just another Regime humiliation ritual on the American people. They have that much control over our country that they can have Biden installed in the Presidency and Fetterman—who has literal brain damage—installed in the US Senate.

We have to remember that the people in power are rootless cosmopolitan globalist elites. They don’t see themselves as Americans. They see themselves as “global citizens.” They have no pride in our country. They hate it, they hate us, and they want to humiliate Americans while extracting as much of our resources, labor, and military power as possible.

That’s about the size of it, yeah. Bleak as the current situation is, though, Torba isn’t succumbing to despair just yet.

The Path Forward: Balkanize and Build
Voting harder isn’t going to cut it. We have to build. The existing system will collapse. It’s not a matter of if, but when. When that happens we need to have Christian infrastructure in place to fill the power vacuum. The Amish have had it right this entire time. Their communities are growing and thriving. They will continue to do well. We must become a form of neoamish, building sovereign communities and families away from Babylon. Technology is okay and a good tool. It’s something we can use to our advantage to communicate, build, and engage in commerce with one another.

We are the new pilgrims. We must move to deep red states, push them further right, build, and secure a future for our families. Forget politics at the national level. That rigged game is over. Focus on state and local elections, not what is going on in DC.

Conservatism has failed. It has been trying to conserve a country and a culture that is never coming back and has long been gone. The future of the West depends on those of us who are going to build. Build our own infrastructure, our own families, our own communities, our own parallel economy, and our own strongholds of deep red states. We’ll build a wall around the borders of those states if that’s what it comes to. We need to accept exile from Babylon and get to work.

Americans appear to have lost all touch with the independent pioneer spirit, resolve, and flint-eyed personal grit that made this country great to begin with. Some of us had it stolen from them by main force, while some willingly abandoned it to lapse into lotus-eating, preferring instead to become indolent, pampered brats without the inner steel to defend all that is rightfully theirs: liberty, prosperity, and the pursuit of happiness, in the sense of the words our Founders meant by them. That precious, golden heritage can never be restored to us unless we roll up our sleeves and restore it ourdamnedselves.

The long, dark road

A sneak peek at Schlichter’s new book, We’ll Be Back: The Fall and Rise of America. All boldface in the excerpts mine, by the way.

Will America Fall With A Bang Or A Whimper?
Radio host and writer Kurt Schlichter’s latest book, ‘We’ll Be Back: The Fall and Rise of America,’ games out many scenarios that could lead to the country’s collapse with illuminating and even amusing results.

Although entertaining on its own, Schlichter’s crash course in classical history has a deeper point that applies to today. Like Rome, America will fall, but this fall won’t be anything sudden or even perceptible to most people. He explains that America’s fall will probably “be a transformational change. … The old ways can simply stop meeting the needs of the present, and something different replaces them.” For the past three decades, Schlichter charts the mounting corruption of the American government, the departure from constitutional limits, and the growing unrest among Americans, particularly conservatives. Even if these problems are fixed, the system will be different than it was in the early ’90s.

Even though President Trump turned away from this apparent trajectory somewhat, Schlichter acknowledges that Trump’s administration suffered from personnel issues for his first two years, and then was sunk by Covid-19 and trusting the experts. Now, “when Biden was sort-of elected, the Democrats pushed hard as they could to the left even though the voters had seen fit to literally provide them the barest imaginable legislative majority.” Consequently, certain checks on political abuses like the Electoral College, election integrity measures, the filibuster, and the authority of elected officials (vs. unelected technocrats) are being challenged or eliminated.

This brings Schlichter to today’s precious present in which an ascendent leftist elite imposes its will on a resistant population. Indeed, the global response to Covid offered a taste of this, as national governments stripped populations of most of their freedoms in the name of public health. What distinguishes the U.S. from other nations, however, is that Americans have the right to bear arms. For Schlichter, this is the ultimate check on power: “They [Americans] understand that the decision to allow or disallow any act by the government ultimately resides with themselves.”

Americans like to tell themselves that cozy lie, but absent a credible and somber threat to resort to those sharply-curtailed 2A rights if and when they must, all the guns ever made add up to no more than empty bluster, easily laughed off by our tormenters as just more hot air expelled by unserious, contemptible blowhards.

This leads him to think that a time will come soon when violence breaks out. He grants that quite a few things will need to happen before this happens: “What this [a civil war] means is that for America to reach a state of tyranny, there must not only be massive and systemic violations but, simultaneously, the elimination of any meaningful ability to address those wrongs, either under the Constitution or otherwise.

Um. I really don’t have to point out the gaping hole in the premise here, do I?

It’s at this point that Schlichter’s role as polemicist turns into one of a prophet, forecasting a variety of outcomes in the near future. First, he describes an America captured by the hard left, which brings tensions to a breaking point. Unfettered by the constitutional checks and balances, the Democrats would wreck the economy with uncontrolled deficit spending, permanently restrict individual freedoms, and refuse to enforce laws on protected classes. Any modicum of prosperity, peace, and stability would immediately be lost in an anarchic frenzy.

Huh. Maybe I do at that. Kurt speaks as if those “massive and systemic violations,” the intentionally rubbled economy, uncontrolled deficit spending, &c are mere grim but as yet unrealized future possibilities, instead of having long since come to pass, every last one of them.

Assuming none of these prognostications come to pass and the center holds for a little while longer, Schlichter concludes that Americans will have three choices: restore the constitutional order, elect a right-wing authoritarian leader, or elect a left-wing authoritarian leader. Since he discussed the last option already, he spends some time on the second option, the conservative authoritarian. He likens this to the reign of Augustus Caesar, which, at least in the beginning, had many things going for it. In one fell swoop, an authoritarian leader could fix the problems of crime, immigration, woke indoctrination, energy and water shortages, and people like Ilhan Omar holding office. However, as Schlichter concludes, “Yes, an authoritarian can make the trains run on time for a while, but that kind of regime has to derail eventually.” A few decent emperors may have succeeded Augustus, but none of them were quite as effective.

I’ve been leaning towards Option 2 for a good while now myself, albeit reluctantly. The wise old quip about socialism—you can vote your way into it, but must shoot your way out—holds equally true for all other flavors of authoritarianism. That stipulated, in order to undertake any truly serious effort to restore American Constitutional liberty to ourselves and our posterity, we must first rid ourselves of the insidious threat to freedom and individual self-determination posed by our “Enemies, domestic” on the Left. And there’s only one sure way to achieve that most laudable of goals: by suppressing Leftists and Leftist cant ruthlessly, ferociously, every time and everywhere they dare to rear their ugly heads.

I’ve often stated that I have no good or easy solutions to propose for this crippling conundrum; this is not an admission of intellectual shortcoming or inadequacy on my part, mind. It’s simply because it’s become my firm belief that, at this late stage of the game, there ARE NO good or easy solutions left to us. Henceforth, every choice will be difficult, costly, and damaging in one way or another.

At each and every turn, we readily descry a path fraught with hazard, uncertainty, pain, and wretchedness. Through a perfectly natural human reluctance to confront the ugly reality of our situation, to relax into comforting fantasy about where we now are and what we now must do, we have painted ourselves into a very tight corner indeed.

One thing is certain: carrying on under the delusional fiction that we still live in the America we grew up in—a stumbling but still essentially sound America with a badly warped but still basically functional system—will get us noplace we want to be, and gain us nothing worth having. No matter which way we finally jump or what we finally decide to do, there’s trouble up the road for sure.

“Suicide by obedience”

Adjust to the New Paradigm on the fly, or perish.

The important message I want to relate right now, is this is all a diversion. All of these domestic issues, the insanity of drag queen strip-tease in schools is designed to enrage and distract us from the fact that literally every nation in the world owes more money than can possibly be repaid; it’s a shell game that’s running out of time. It’s the economic monstrosity of the world that’s driving nuclear war, because, like 9/11, there has to be a dramatic and terrifying moment in order to institute an earthquake of new, more-restrictive laws; in this case the great reset by which all government and banking debt will be erased, but not yours, not your car, your home, just theirs and they’ll use your assets to free themselves.

The governing powers are so jealous of our every penny, that soon they’ll just take it. Forget taxes, forget legality, they want it and we have it and they have the forces to take it. There are no principles involved here. To do that, they need a war, they need a crisis and they’ve long ago stopped caring what is right, proper or legal. Everything they’ve done in the past two years proves that point. If they’re willing to kill you, they’ll surely rob you.

Nothing will stop it. Nothing can be done about the entirety of Western civilization committing suicide by obedience, except disobedience. It’s probably too late for that to have much effect, but its a question of dying on your feet or on your knees. No matter what happens, there will be enough leftists/communists left to blame it all on our founders and capitalism. The importance of Nine Principles of Freedom, I think, is a starting point for whoever is left in deciding what sort of society to rebuild after the cataclysmic events to come.

In the chaos of post-nuclear war, there’s a chance to resettle and reorganize, but the globalists will have to be confronted directly. They’re instigating this nuclear exchange to arrive at that chaos to institute their vision. Nothing says that those who understand the principles of the republic can’t exploit that breach just as well as they can.

If we don’t step into that breach and refuse, be willing to lay down our lives to resist that sweeping change, you might as well put a Trump 2024 sign in your yard and wait for the Stasi.

If, by some miracle, all of it can be headed off, there’s the longer, tougher road of disobedience that will take an extraordinary shift in personal dynamics to save anything of the world we knew prior to 2019. Even then, it was a disaster. You have to go further back, much further.

Yep, back to around 1950, at the very least. As TL implies, the fact that you might not win doesn’t by any means excuse one from fighting on anyway. In any such conflict, the outcome is never guaranteed; the one and only absolute certainty is that if you don’t fight, you will definitely lose.

The greatest story lie ever told

I repeat: if it weren’t for lies, they’d have nothing to say at all.

More than two years since the lockdowns of 2020, the political mainstream, particularly on the left, is just beginning to realize that the response to Covid was an unprecedented catastrophe.

But that realization hasn’t taken the form of a mea culpa. Far from it. On the contrary, in order to see that reality is starting to dawn on the mainstream left, one must read between the lines of how their narrative on the response to Covid has evolved over the past two years.

The narrative now goes something like this: Lockdowns never really happened, because governments never actually locked people in their homes; but if there were lockdowns, then they saved millions of lives and would have saved even more if only they’d been stricter; but if there were any collateral damage, then that damage was an inevitable consequence of the fear from the virus independent of the lockdowns; and even when things were shut down, the rules weren’t very strict; but even when the rules were strict, we didn’t really support them.

Put simply, the prevailing narrative of the mainstream left is that any upside from the response to Covid is attributable to the state-ordered closures and mandates that they supported, while any downside was an inevitable consequence of the virus independent of any state-ordered closures and mandates which never happened and which anyway they never supported. Got it? Good.

Astonishingly, in a debate on Monday, Charlie Crist, Democratic candidate for governor of Florida, accused Ron DeSantis of being “the only governor in the history of Florida that’s ever shut down our schools.” “You’re the only governor in the history of Florida that shut down our businesses,” Crist went on, “I never did that as governor. You’re the one who’s the shutdown guy.”

In fact, as DeSantis pointed out, Crist had publicly sued DeSantis to keep kids out of school in 2020, and he wrote DeSantis a letter in July 2020 saying the entire state should still be in lockdown.

Arguments like these are as facile as they are transparent. Does anyone honestly think these people would be arguing that lockdowns didn’t happen, or that it’s impossible to measure their effects, if the policy had been a success?

Read on for an incredibly chilling rundown of the veritably incalculable and multifarious damage done by those newly “nonexistent” lockdowns—first and foremost among that being, for me at least, the wreckage it made of such piffling concerns as individual autonomy, self-determination, and the very idea of unalienable, Constitutionally-protected rights.

The piece continues from there with pictures, almost none of which I’d seen before, putting this wanton, needless destruction on display for all to see and be shamed by. Bottom line? You’ve been had. Hoodwinked. Bamboozled.

By pretending that all of these horrors were attributable to public panic, apologists for the response to Covid are attempting to shift blame away from the political machines that imposed lockdowns and mandates onto individuals and their families. This is, of course, despicable and bunk. People did not voluntarily go hungry, or stand in the freezing cold to get food, or remove themselves from hospitals while they were still sick, or bankrupt their own businesses, or force their own kids to sit outside in the cold, or march hundreds of miles in exodus after losing their jobs in factories.

The collective denial of these horrors, and the refusal of media, financial, and political elites to report on them, amounts to nothing less than the greatest act of gaslighting that we’ve seen in modern times.

Further, the argument that all of these terrible outcomes could be attributed to public panic rather than state-imposed mandates would be far more convincing if governments hadn’t taken unprecedented actions to deliberately panic the public.

Does it get even worse yet? Oh, you bet your sweet bippy it does.

report later revealed that military leaders had seen Covid as a unique opportunity to test propaganda techniques on the public, “shaping” and “exploiting” information to bolster support for government mandates. Dissenting scientists were silenced. Government psyops teams deployed fear campaigns on their own people in a scorched-earth campaign to drive consent for lockdowns.

Moreover, as a study by Cardiff University demonstrated, the primary factor by which citizens judged the threat of COVID-19 was their own government’s decision to employ lockdown measures. “We found that people judge the severity of the COVID-19 threat based on the fact the government imposed a lockdown—in other words, they thought, ‘it must be bad if government’s taking such drastic measures.’ We also found that the more they judged the risk in this way, the more they supported lockdown.” The policies thus created a feedback loop in which the lockdowns and mandates themselves sowed the fear that made citizens believe their risk of dying from COVID-19 was hundreds of times greater than it really was, in turn causing them to support more lockdowns and mandates.

Those who publicly spoke against lockdowns and mandates were ostracized and vilified—denounced by mainstream outlets like the New York Times, CNN, and health officials as “neo-Nazis” and “white nationalists.” Further, among those who really believed the mainstream Covid narrative—or merely pretended to—all the authoritarian methods that had supposedly contributed to China’s “success” against Covid, including censoring, canceling, and firing those who disagreed, were on the table.

Though many now claim to have opposed these measures, the truth is that publicly opposing lockdowns when they were at their apex in spring 2020 was lonely, frightening, thankless, and hard. Few did.

A-HENH. Actually, although it was certainly lonely, I saw nothing whatsoever hard about it, much less frightening; way more frightening to me was how very many of us failed to see through this patently bogus nonsense, even supported it at the time.

This revisionism is all the more disappointing because a small handful of politicians including Ron DeSantis, Imran Khan, and Alberta Premier Danielle Smith have proven that admitting error in implementing lockdowns and mandates isn’t that hard, and can even be politically profitable.

The same should go for the political left. Thus far, we have yet to see anything remotely resembling regret from any leader on the left, but this is what a decent, Truman-era Democrat might say in these circumstances:

“The lockdowns of 2020 were a terrible mistake. While they were outside my field, it was my duty to properly vet the credibility of the advice that was coming from health officials and to end the mandates as soon as it was clear they weren’t working. In that role, I failed, and you all have my humblest apologies. Given the unprecedented harm that’s been done by these mandates, I support a full investigation into how this advice came about, in part to ensure there hasn’t been any untoward communist influence on these policies.”

Those who spoke against lockdowns and mandates in early 2020 showed that they were willing to stand up for the freedoms and Enlightenment principles for which our forebears fought so tirelessly, even when doing so was lonely, thankless, and hard. For that reason, anyone who did so has reason to feel extremely proud, and the future would be brighter if they were in positions of leadership. That fact is now becoming increasingly clear—unfortunately, even to those who did the opposite. One more reason to keep all the receipts.

Any liberty-oriented American worth his salt must never, ever forget the needless, intentional disaster of Spring 2020, on pain of seeing one of the bleakest chapters of our history repeat itself. Because it’s for sure and certain that they’re going to try, and the only way they can get away with it again is if We The People allow them to. If you only read through all of one thing I link to this entire weekend, this one absolutely must be it.

The risks that must be taken

TL contends that the first crucial step on the long road back has to be attitude adjustment.

Recently, where I work, because nothing I’ve written has ever been a commercial success and I like work, I ran into a Covid questionnaire at a customer’s business that I recognized as corporate required nonsense and for a while, not wanting to intervene in the relationship between these businesses, just sort of filled it out without divulging any information to which they had no right to obtain, basically, no, no, no, no, to get on with work. Sometimes I just wouldn’t, but every time I did, it grated on me. I resented it and finally, with a representative of that business standing there, expecting it to be filled out, having noticed that unless someone was there, I wouldn’t, I told him I resented it and he told me to leave. I expected to get fired over it. It was a big customer, a large part of our company’s income was derived from that source. I was grilled on why I didn’t just shut my mouth, fill it out and get on with work. My explanation was that I just couldn’t, it was wrong and if they had to fire me, then to get on with it.

Later, having kept my job, I was sent back. I refused, admitting that I hadn’t changed my mind and wouldn’t and sending me back there was just going to start it all up again. They did a work-around so I didn’t have to, but later still, they sent me to another facility for the same company. Braced for the clash, I entered and was quickly informed that those performing my task only had to sign one sheet and that was all job-related safety information, JSA to those who do them regularly. (don’t get me started on that)

None of us want to lose our jobs over this stupid, inane bs, but we have to be willing to risk it. This is how our successful society has been destroyed to replace it with the irrational, illogical commands of some quasi-authority, by failing to take these risks. Others have, the military washed a bunch of them out over it.

Now that it’s been revealed how deep the rot is, how it’s creeped into every corner of our world, it’s time to start being much more aggressive in defending one’s own rights. Question your doctor to find out how much of the pandemic he actually believes in; ask how much money he’s received from Pfizer or others. These are legitimate questions from someone asked to place their lives, literally, in another’s hands. Take the same aggressive belligerence they demonstrate into these interactions. If we want a free nation where individuals have rights, it’s obvious that we’re going to have to fight for them.

As emotionally and mentally draining as confrontations can be, I understand that few will want to take this advice, but it’s the only way. Maybe not every instance all at the same time, but something, somewhere. I’ve been lucky, I haven’t had to go through any of this before, because if they demanded I wear a mask, I refused to go there. If they got in my face over it, like they did at the post office one time, I got back in theirs citing that they were just following “advice” and that there was no law that required it. They promptly lost the package I mailed, the only one they’d ever lost. Forcing them to resort to that cowardice, that inability to do their job with integrity, was enough for me. Plus, we moved.

It’s in these battles that we must fight, until the great volcano, that’s currently building across the globe, erupts. When it finally does, all of this will be inconsequential, mere survival will be on everyone’s mind. One highly-connected and brilliant commenter recently remarked, “we will be counting our wealth, not in dollars, but ounces.”

All through the FauxVid scam, I refused to wear a mask, period. Even when I had to make a delivery inside the main hospital branch in CLT, I flatly told the security guy at the front door who tried to deny me entry unless I wore the Mask Of Cowardice And Submission, I didn’t; after a few minutes of arguing back and forth, the guy eventually handed me the stupid, grimy germ-catcher and told me to just carry it with me, so as to cover his own ass if anybody inside called me on it. They didn’t.

In fact, the one and only time I’ve ever come close to donning the MOCAS happened only a few days ago, as I was trying to pick up my insulin and other ‘scrips from the pharmacy I use for the purpose. I raised such a loud, intense ruckus with the lady at the front desk over their mask requirement that she actually went so far as to call the cops on the scary, one-legged, crippled old man. When the Gaston County Sheriff’s Deputy walked in the front door and over to me, I looped the thing over one ear and announced to those duly assembled that this was as far as I was willing to bend over for them. Whereupon Offissa Pupp laughed himself sick, slapped a thigh so great was his mirth, told me hey, that’s fine, and walked right back out again without saying a single word to front-desk bint.

From conformable to confrontational? Yeah, I believe I’m good with all that. In fact, I highly recommend it.

“The illusion of freedom will continue as long as it’s profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will just take down the scenery, they will pull back the curtains, they will move the tables and chairs out of the way and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theater.”

John Adams

"The limits of tyranny are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress."
Frederick Douglass

"Give me the media and I will make of any nation a herd of swine."

“I hope we once again have reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. There’s a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: As government expands, liberty contracts.”
