Electoral College: why it matters is also why they hate it

The latest installment of Wilder’s CW Weather Report is up, and as usual with John’s stuff it’s a toughie to excerpt without doing real violence to the whole thing; the way he weaves seemingly disparate or unrelated concepts together into a cohesive whole makes collecting bits and bites of it…well, tricky, shall we say. But I just gotta make the attempt with this one anyway.

I firmly believe the United States has had stolen elections in the past. But the nice thing about the Electoral College is? It makes it really, really hard to steal an election. Impossible? No. Hard? Yes.

Every single person in every graveyard in Chicago, California, and Queens can vote for a Democrat, and it doesn’t matter. The Electoral College adds legitimacy to an election by breaking corruption at the state lines. That’s one reason the Left hates it. It makes elections hard to steal. In my state, my vote doesn’t really matter – my state will go for Trump even if every person in every grave, ever, votes Democrat.

Mail-in voting changes all of that.

It’s hard to cheat in a Red State. You have to steal zillions of counties. It’s easy to cheat in a Blue State – you just have to cheat in the big cities. If everyone in Chicago voted Trump, Illinois would still go 60% for whatever Democrat was opposing him. But with mail-in voting?

Examples I have seen show the party on the outside of the envelope. How hard would it be to casually “lose” a few thousand votes from envelopes that had a big, fat, R on the outside? Or a few thousand from precincts that consistently vote Right? Not hard at all. This is on top of demonstrated voter fraud in Left cities where poll workers were caught on camera dumping ballot after ballot into the box on election day.

If mail-in voting passes? We’ve had our last election day. From now on? It’s selection day – selection of the candidate that the Left wants.

Lying liars just can’t stop the lying

My God, the balls on this malevolent shitrake. Well, on all of ’em, when you get right down to it.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) blamed the outbreak of the Chinese coronavirus in New York entirely on President Trump during Tuesday’s press briefing, criticizing the president for the “too little, too late” travel ban on Europe in March.

“Donald Trump caused the COVID outbreak in New York,” Cuomo said, repeating his claim. “That is a fact. It’s a fact that he admitted and the CDC admitted and Fauci admitted.”

“The China virus, the China virus, the China virus. It was not the China virus,” the governor said, repeating his long-held narrative of the “European virus,” not the China virus, infecting his state:

It was the European virus that came to New York. They missed it. They missed it. The China virus went to Europe. It got on a plane. It went to Europe. They never even thought of the possibility. And then 3 million Europeans got on the plane and came to New York. And they brought the virus. January, they brought the virus. February, they brought the virus. March, they brought the virus. And in mid-March, the federal government does a travel ban from Europe. Mid-March.

“Too little, too late, Mr. President. He caused the COVID outbreak in New York. Donald Trump,” he continued, also casting blame on Trump’s “incompetent” Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institutes of Health (NIH), and Department of Homeland Security.

Sure, L’il Mario. What the hell, why not. A thorough debunking of Coo-mo’s arrant, self-serving horseshit follows, but why even bother anymore? There’s no talking to these people, no reasoning with them, no debating them honestly, in good faith. There’s only crushing them at the polls come November—and, eventually, hunting them down like rabid curs, and ending them.

Update! Hey, did somebody mention enormous clanking brass balls just now?

On Tuesday’s broadcast of Bloomberg’s “Balance of Power,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) stated that Republicans “don’t believe in science.” And that is why they have not “gone with the testing, tracing, treatment, isolation, mask-wearing, etc.”

Well, my swearing off of the COVIDIOT shite sure didn’t last very long, did it? Although in my defense, this is more of an “Asshole Demonrats” post than a COVIDIOT post per se.

Whole lotta nothing much

I’m thinking very seriously about making this my final COVIDIOT shamdemic post.

A recent study claimed that the annual motorcycle rally held last month in Sturgis, South Dakota was a “superspreader event” infecting more than half of the 460,000 attendees at a cost of $12 billion to our public health institutions.

In a report titled “IZA DP No. 13670: The Contagion Externality of a Superspreading Event: The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and COVID-19,” claimed that “large crowds, coupled with minimal mask-wearing and social distancing by attendees” turned the rally into a “superspreader” infecting 260,000 people.

Authors Dhaval M. Dave, Andrew I. Friedson, Drew McNichols, and Joseph J. Sabia concluded that “the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally generated public health costs of approximately $12.2 billion.”

The public health risks of Sturgis were so rigorously studied by the authors that “no medical journal would touch it,” as bestselling author and public health writer Alex Berenson noted on Tuesday. Instead, the report was posted on the website of the obscure Insitute of Labor Economics, a leftwing German thinktank.

Our infotainment industry — formerly known as “the mainstream media,” and prior to that as “the news business” — went bonkers over the claim.

The Hill — formerly a respectable Washington-based publication — breathlessly ran the study’s claims as though they were undisputed by anyone without a political agenda.

PLEASE NOTE: I boldfaced all those mentions of new “cases” above for a reason, folks. To wit:

I am begging you not to use the enemy’s language. Stop saying “cases”. Correct people who do.

A positive test is not a case. A case is an active symptomatic illness in a person needing or seeking treatment. A case is not a person who just has the bug and has, say, only the sniffles. Most people who get this don’t develop anything like a serious illness. Many never even knew they had it!

Again, some positive tests are false. Most genuine positives tests not are not symptomatic. (Here is one example.)

Positive tests do not necessarily mean active infections. I told us months ago the test was likely picking up past infections. This has since been verified (and it was always likely). Also as we guessed a long time ago, using evidence from other similar infections, the best current guess of the infection fatality rate is about 0.3%. We used similar numbers to show pictures of the number of people likely already infected.

Propagandists and governments are using these false “cases” to cause unnecessary panic. When you hear somebody say “cases”, tell them, “You mean positive tests. How many of them required hospitalization? How many deaths were caused by the virus? How many died with it?”

Stop saying cases!

Also stop saying deaths. Say “attributed deaths”, or “deaths with but not necessarily by.” Poor use of language has exacerbated this crisis beyond all measure. Do not contribute to it.

From the very start of this fiasco, it’s been nothing but lies and deception, all the way down. Well, unless one would like to be generous about the thing and credit witless stupidity instead, which I admit is a possibility too. But either way, the scam served its purpose very well already; the soaring Trump economy has been thoroughly brought down, the Amerikan populace cowed and subjugated, the “new normal” established. The shamdemic horse has been well and truly flogged nearly unto death at this point, and I for one am sick and tired of hearing about the damned thing, much less talking about it here.

So unless it’s something other than yet another run-of-the-mill “whoopsie, got it wrong” admission from yet another gaggle of mutton-headed “experts,” I’m thinking of just packing it all in for good. Perhaps that will be harder to do than I think at the moment; could be my spluttering rage as TPTB smear yet another transparent lie into the faces of the gullible majority will force me to the keyboard for another rant on this tired topic. We’ll see.

Oh yeah, that Sturgis “superspreader” surge? Guess what.

According to South Dakota health officials, 124 new cases in the state—including one fatal case—were directly linked to the rally. Overall, COVID-19 cases linked to the Sturgis rally were reported in 11 states as of September 2, to a tune of at least 260 new cases, according to The Washington Post.

There very well may be more cases that have been linked to the early August event, but so far, that’s only 260 confirmed cases—about 0.1 percent of the number the IZA paper offers.

The results of the IZA paper “do not align with what we know,” South Dakota epidemiologist Joshua Clayton said at a Tuesday news briefing.

The IZA paper “isn’t science; it’s fiction,” Gov. Kristi Noem (R) said.

It’s also good election-time propaganda, apparently.

NOW you’re getting it.

So 13 percent of the population wants to start a “race war” against 70 percent of it?

I don’t think they’ve thought this thing all the way through.

Low intelligence, poor impulse control, defective future orientation, emotionalism, difficulty with abstractions. So say psychologists who study racial differences. The literature is voluminous, though suppressed. (The predictable assertion that these scientists, nearly all white, are racist is belied by their consistent finding that Ashkenazi Jews are at the top in intelligence, followed by East Asians, then whites. Racists do not establish the inferiority of their own race.)

These traits, plus poor understanding of the world beyond their visual field, and difficulty with abstract reasoning perfectly explain the senseless murders, the periodic yet unceasing riots and burning of cities, usually of their own neighborhoods and stores. Watts in 1965, much of the country in 1968, LA in1992, more recently Baltimore, Ferguson, Minneapolis. They explain the young black woman on network television sobbing that she is afraid to leave her house because the police might kill her, the black man roaring that he is tired, tired, tired of the police hunting down blacks to kill them. The absurdity of the first claim, the fact that blacks kill far more of each other than whites do, do not occur to an emotional, poorly informed and innumerate people.

Many students of black behavior have concluded that it is innate—genetic, as we say. This thought is of course verboten, an ender of careers, so many who know of it remain very quiet, as do the millions who have long suspected it. Liberals also seem to suspect it as otherwise they would say “Let’s study the matter carefully and find out.” Fairly obviously they fear what they might find, so instead they shy away from the questions in something resembling terror. In human affairs, questions avoided are questions likely to have the wrong answers.

If blacks as a race (there always being degrees and exceptions) cannot fit into a modern society, as seems to be the case, what now? It will be pointed out that blacks are decent people when not enraged or impulsive, that they are emotionally warmer than whites, immensely talented in music and acting, that they are human beings and should not be forced by circumstance to live in grim ghettos, that some are highly intelligent. All true. It can also be pointed out that many of my age grew up listening to the Platters, James Brown, the Supremes, to bebop and doowop and later Coltrane and Davis and so on at endless length, and that is somehow disagreeably ungrateful to think of their race as incompatible with mainline civilization. True…uncomfortably true.

But the killings, the crime, the arson never stop.

Whatever the answer might be, what we are doing now isn’t it.

Probably the single worst thing that could ever happen to them would be for them to get what they claim to want.

Battlespace preparation

We didn’t so much finally find a hill to die on as that it punched us right in the face.

Let’s look at the scenarios the Washington Post article presented to understand that theirs was not so much a theoretical exercise as it was a roadmap for insurrection, a rally cry to the leftists burning down Seattle, Portland, Kenosha and any other city they can target before the election. First they gave us four possible scenarios A Biden Landslide, A narrow Biden win, but with electoral and popular vote victories, a narrow Trump win, but with a large popular vote loss and a period of uncertainty after the election.

Not once did they even play out the possibility of a Trump landslide, because then they would have to admit that riots in the street would also take place given that eventuality. It is more what they don’t say than what they do, that matters.

The crisis they see coming is the use of the Insurrection Act by Trump to “teach these anti-American terrorists a lesson.” Not to quell violent unrest by Biden voters that will not accept the outcome of the election, as played out when Hillary lost and continues to this day, but some invention of Donald Trump’s imagination, fear and hatred. (Notice that all of those playing out the Trump side were hostile anti-Trumpers.) The Washington Post is building into the narrative the purpose and excuse for their insurrection, nothing less. After the Donald Trump landslide and if it is not it will be a result of cheating and intimidation by Biden voters, they plan to take the streets, perhaps even drag Trump out of the White House, perhaps with Deep State cover from the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Every indication I’m seeing for a Trump victory is much greater than it was in 2016. The polls, even heavily weighted to the Democrats, are showing Trump much closer to Biden than he was to Hillary. He will probably still win, but not by the amount he would in a stand up election. The riots have influenced a lot of people who won’t claim support for Trump, but will nonetheless vote for him on election day.

The riots after election day, with cover from the media, will lead to insurrection and all of us will be on the front line in one way or another. You have trained, stock-piled and while it was hard to tell what for a lot of the time, this is what for. This is the hill to die on, not because of Trump himself, but because the communists want it bad enough to kill you in broad daylight for it. They will kill your whole family if they can, before they take power or after. It is only the preparedness and coolness of head that Kyle Rittenhouse showed that will bring us through it. Some of us won’t make it. But, what better reason to die than defending your families and your freedom? I can think of none.

All of them, from the rioters and looters to the MFM to the Democrat-Socialist-Riot Party itself, is telling us openly and in plain language what they intend to do. It’s time we started taking them at their word, and taking their words seriously. As for the WaPo “war game” article mentioned by TL, David Harsanyi examines it more closely.

In their “war game” scenarios, however, it’s the Democrats who refuse to accept the will of courts to adhere to the constitutionally prescribed system rather than hysteria, and it’s the Democrats who wishcast the wholly imaginary “popular vote” into existence.

One of the scenarios, we learn, “doesn’t look that different from 2016” — a contest in which, it must be pointed out, not one vote has been proven to be uncounted or altered. In that outcome, America is confronted with “a big popular win for Mr. Biden, and a narrow electoral defeat.” In the real world, incidentally, that scenario is called a “Trump victory.”

In the fictional war game, however, John Podesta, playing the role of Biden, contends that his party won’t let him concede the race and instead alleges “voter suppression” — the catchall go-to every time a Democrat loses — and persuades the Democratic governors of Trump-won states such as Wisconsin and Michigan to send pro-Biden electors to the Electoral College.

In the meantime, California, Oregon and Washington threaten to secede from the union if Trump takes office. The Democratic House unilaterally names Biden president. “At that point in the scenario,” the New York Times’ Ben Smith explains, “the nation stopped looking to the media for cues, and waited to see what the military would do.”

This scenario is what a real-life “coup” might resemble. It is, needless to say, utterly insane that Democrats would destroy the nation’s longstanding and peaceful transition because they refuse to accept the mandated process of electing the president. All of which is to say the proactive — and retroactive — delegitimization of the Trump presidency has been a successful four-year project.

Well, for them it has, I suppose. But for sensible, sane people, all they’ve really done is destroy their own credibility and harden his supporters’ hearts against them. It seems a Pyrrhic victory at best, one that might just turn around and bite them on the ass before long.

The coup is coming here

Michael Anton is on a real tear of late.

As if 2020 were not insane enough already, we now have Democrats and their ruling class masters openly talking about staging a coup. You might have missed it, what with the riots, lockdowns and other daily mayhem we’re forced to endure in this, the most wretched year of my lifetime. But it’s happening.

He briefly outlines the treasonous, anti-American actions and statements from a pantload of treacherous Obama-appointed military nabobs, then:

All this enthused Joe Biden, who threw subtlety to the winds. The former United States Senator (for 26 years) and Vice President (for eight) has not once, not twice, but thrice confidently asserted that the military will “escort [Trump] from the White House with great dispatch” should the president refuse to leave. Another former Vice President, Al Gore, publicly agreed.

One might dismiss such comments as the ravings of a dementia patient and a has-been who never got over his own electoral loss. But before you do, consider also this. Over the summer a story was deliberately leaked to the press of a meeting at which 100 Democratic grandees, anti-Trump former Republicans, and other ruling class apparatchiks got together (on George Soros’s dime) to “game out” various outcomes of the 2020 election. One such outcome was a clear Trump win. In that eventuality, former Bill Clinton White House Chief of Staff John Podesta, playing Biden, refused to concede, pressured states that Trump won to send Democrats to the formal Electoral College vote, and trusted that the military would take care of the rest.

Gee, curious how the name Soros just keeps popping up, innit?

These items are, to repeat, merely a short but representative list of what Byron York recently labeled “coup porn.” York seems to think this is just harmless fantasizing on the part of the ruling class and its Democratic servants. For some of them, no doubt that’s true. But for all of them? I’m not so sure.

Remember that phrase from the Dem war game: “street fight.” In other words, a repeat of this summer, only much, much bigger. Crank the propaganda to ear-drum shattering decibels and fill the streets of every major city with “protesters.” Shut down the country and allow only one message to be heard: “Trump must go.”

I.e., what’s come to be known as a “color revolution,” the exact same playbook the American deep state runs in other countries whose leadership they don’t like and is currently running in Belarus. Oust a leader—even an elected one—through agitation and call it “democracy.”

The events of the last few months may be interpreted as an attempted color revolution that failed to gain enough steam, or as a trial run for the fall. Is the Trump Administration prepared?

Anton has a few suggestions to make regarding said preparation, one of which I really hadn’t much considered:

They also need to set up or shore up—now—communication channels that don’t rely on the media or Big Tech. Once the ruling class gives word that the narrative is “Trump lost,” all the president’s social media accounts will be suspended. The T.V. channels, with the likely exception of Fox News, will refuse to cover anything he says. Count on it. He’s going to need a way to talk to the American people and he has to find the means, now.

True, dat. Why Trump didn’t dump Twitter already and switch to one of the other available alternatives like Gab is a mystery to me. He has millions of Twitterati following him; my guess is that if he simply posted a final announcement there about the move and included a link to his new, more free-speech-friendly home, most if not all would immediately make the jump right along with him. That would both encourage the growth of a truly impartial and open platform, and maybe even do some real damage to the Twitter propaganda machine into the bargain.

In the end, though, all the preparation in the world will be a pointless waste of time without resolve, along with a willingness to abandon the traditional defensive crouch and take the offensive in pursuit of total victory (y’know, like Trump himself has been doing all along—AHEM). Without those things, the highly-polished and carefully tended-to Arsenal Of Freedom stays locked away in the gun safe, the cartridges remain in their box until the powder finally goes sour…and shit like this keeps right on happening:

A member of the Proud Boys is hospitalized with severe injuries from being hit by a car after attending a memorial for Aaron “Jay” Danielson, the President Donald Trump supporter who was murdered by Antifa in Portland.

Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio told The Gateway Pundit that the victim is bleeding from his brain, damaged his left temporal lobe, has a concussion and is suffering from amnesia and cannot remember the incident.

The Proud Boys are a pro-Trump male social group that frequently stands against Black Lives Matter and Antifa militants — which has made them a hated target of the left.

The Gateway Pundit has been asked to only identify the victim by his first name, Shane, at this time.

Following Danielson’s memorial in Vancouver, a group of Proud Boys went to a bar down the street, according to Tarrio. He said that a man who appeared to be a member of Antifa began taking photos and recordings of the people inside.

A man who witnessed the incident, Rex Fergus, told the Gateway Pundit that the man “started walking around the bar and recording us, putting his phone in our faces, supposedly for doxing.”

“As he was doing that, one of our guys confronted him and said ‘hey, get out of here, we don’t want you filming us. This is a private establishment and we’re not in public.’ The man continued to try to pick fights with people in the bar at the time, until security finally kicked him out of the bar,” Fergus said.

As the man was kicked out of the bar, there were several Proud Boys in the parking lot smoking cigarettes and just arriving from the memorial service. Fergus explained that the man had also become combative with them, so Shane pulled his phone out and started filming him back.

“Once the guy started his vehicle up and started to drive off, he hit Shane,” Fergus said. “Shane tried to get out of the way and the guy ran him over.”

Fergus said that Shane’s body went up on to the roof of the truck and his head hit the concrete when he fell.

“Immediately he was unconscious. After he hit him, the driver of the truck gassed it and left the parking lot, leaving Shane on the ground, bleeding out of his ears,” Fergus said.

These psychos are now just brazenly, openly hunting us down out there. Meanwhile the Demonrat coup attempt, which has continued without pause since before Trump even won election, will keep grinding on too. If the Dems and Deep Staters really are fearful of final defeat—on the ropes, at their wits’ end, and desperate, as a lot of folks confidently contend—well, I dunno, maybe they could be at that. But damned if they ain’t doing a pretty fair job right now of hiding it, seems to me.

The political problem—the Demonrats’ maneuvering, manipulation, and skullduggery, loathsome as it all is—we can probably afford to wait out for a bit longer yet. All the visible evidence strongly suggests an overwhelming Trump victory in November, maybe even lopsided enough to foreclose the attempt to hijack or nullify it. As long as even a gossamer-thin wisp of hope remains that the political and legal processes can still be made to work properly we should indeed be patient. In fact, we MUST.

However, the not-overtly non-political part of the equation—the contra-Constitutional lockdowns; the unchecked rioting and violence; the escalating depredations of out-of-control thugs and the accompanying mama’s-boy sissymaries in train with them—are all part and parcel of the Demonrat coup plot as well. And those things must be dealt with as well.

At the end of the day, though, all of that can and should be considered cogs in the same evil machine, different fronts in the larger struggle. And anyone who believes that the chaos and strife will all end after the election can anticipate an excruciatingly rude awakening.

Wander around America and talk to average Americans about the ongoing madness in the streets and you will find one commonly held assumption. Things will get worse between now and Election Day but then this will subside. “We will get back to normal.”

Wrong.

Yes, things will get worse between now and November 3rd. No, they are not likely to get better thereafter.

Despite suppression polls and the complicity of most major networks in refusing to cover Joe Biden’s obvious mental decline, the winds are shifting. Fears of COVID-19 are fading. Violence in American cities has turned off a great many Americans to the Democratic Party. Black Americans perhaps most of all are shifting to supporting Donald Trump and a law and order agenda.

But, for the people in the streets and the men and women directing them, this was never about an election.

Antifa, Black Lives Matter (BLM), and all their sister organizations are Marxist entities. As such they are built around the concept of “the struggle.” This is the process by which the existing capitalist and democratic system is destroyed and replaced by “the dictatorship of the proletariat.”

The “struggle” is an explicitly non-democratic process. The current system will not be voted out of office – it will be torn to pieces. In fact, only in this way, can true revolution be accomplished. Anything else is just tinkering around the edges.

The foundation for a rejection of the election results is already being laid.

What follows the increasingly likely Trump victory in November will not be calm.

It will not be a return to normal. The Marxist/Anarchist forces in this country, emboldened by a complicit media and supported by Democratic Party functionaries who thought they could control the mob, have grown too strong. They have been biding their time for decades – growing stronger and extending their reach. This is – they are convinced – their moment.

The terrorists and agitators will not go back to their homes, hang up their hoodies and helmets, and move on with their lives. A ‘Trump win’ will only convince them that much more that the only road to the Communist paradise they desire lies through increased violence. The tactics in use – which are already becoming more lethal – will shift from burning and vandalism to assassination and bombings.

The genie is out of the bottle.

The terrorists and agitators will not go back to their homes, hang up their hoodies and helmets, and move on with their lives. A ‘Trump win’ will only convince them that much more that the only road to the Communist paradise they desire lies through increased violence. The tactics in use – which are already becoming more lethal – will shift from burning and vandalism to assassination and bombings.

The genie is out of the bottle.

What could have been crushed in its early stages by the determined use of law enforcement and intelligence assets and the resolve of state governors has become something much more dangerous. The republic is in peril, and it will take firm, decisive action across this nation to crush this insurrection and preserve the Union.

Nothing ends in November. This is just getting started.

I dearly wish I could come up with a halfway credible argument that Faddis is all wet on this. But I can’t come up with one…because he isn’t. Unless the monsters born of the rabid Left and sicced on America by the Demonrats are crushed, annihilated utterly, our irretrievable flat spin will not only continue but accelerate and worsen, until we auger in to a fiery crash of lawless disorder, total anarchy, and blood-soaked horror.

And then: war for real, and for keeps. Encompassing, inescapable, and unpredictable.

Sorry, but this wretched state of affairs IS our “normal” now. No matter what the result, November’s election will end nothing, will resolve nothing. It won’t even amount to a fleeting moment’s respite. Ironically enough, with somber war-warning tocsins sounding—sounded not by some comical, dismissable lunatic-fringe group but by ostensibly responsible high-level officials of one of the two national political parties, flatly declaring their intention to either fictionalize the results or just ignore them altogether and seize power regardless—the 2020 election begins to look less momentous, a matter of almost no lasting significance at all.

SEATTLE CLOSES PARK TO PREVENT OUTDOOR WORSHIP SERVICE: This notice sounds innocuous enough, just a legitimate public health measure. The reality is officials closed the park because it was the planned site for a worship time organized by a group of local churches, assisted by Sean Feucht. Feucht’s ministry organization has organized 19 services in 19 cities during July and August.

“This is the height of hypocrisy for the City of Seattle to turn a blind eye to riots, looting, and AntiFa, while refusing to let Christians gather in a public park to sing and worship,” Feucht said in a statement in response to the closure notice. “First the government shuts down churches. Now it’s shutting down parks to stop us from worshipping. Time to stand up church!”

If they don’t, they will soon be destroyed forever. And if they continue to submit to this naked tyranny, they will deserve to be. Michael Walsh’s sage advice from way back in 2012 is even more apt today:

In 1844, faced with a Nativist threat to burn down St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral (at Prince and Mott streets), John J. Hughes, the Irish-born bishop (and later first archbishop) of New York, gathered several thousand of his mostly Irish parishioners and deployed them around the church. Any attack on the cathedral, warned the man known as “Dagger John,” would be repulsed with force. The Nativists backed down.

During the Civil War, Hughes undertook a secret mission to Europe at the personal request of Abraham Lincoln, to rally support for the Union cause and keep Britain from entering the war on the side of the Confederacy. This he did in part by explaining the facts of the life to the English: that they’d have no luck in raising troops in restive, famine-stricken Ireland to fight against America, and a great deal of trouble if they tried.

Those were the days of the two-fisted Irish clergy, who understood their dual American roles as both the spiritual leaders of their people and — when necessary — political figures as well. But those days are long gone (Cardinal O’Connor was the last of the line).

It’s good to see the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops making noises about suing the government, but it would be even better to see Archbishop (and Cardinal-designate) Timothy Dolan get out front on this issue in a very public way. “Conscientious objectors” and “civil disobedience” were all the rage on the left during the Vietnam War and the draft,” and it’s high time we tried the same tactic on them: Catholic institutions should simply ignore the law, refuse to implement it, and refuse to pay the Obamacare fines — and dare the Left utter a peep about “higher morality.” There are 77 million Catholics in the U.S., and an awful lot of them vote.

In other words, Archbishop Dolan and his confreres ought to ask themselves, What Would Dagger John Do? No need for mobs this time, just morals. But if they’re not going to vigorously defend their own faith, in a Church Militant sort of way, who will?

Pretty sure I linked and excerpted this column way back in the day, I believe; honestly, I’m astonished that I even remembered. But when I read about the above instance of the broader rejiggering of the COVID “crisis” into a convenient tool to be wielded against all the perennial hate-objects of Leftist despotism—an abominable tide that has inundated the nation this disastrous summer—it became readily apparent that some things never change after all. More, from Walsh’s second follow-up to that first Dagger John piece:

I’ve written about Bishop John J. Hughes, the first Archbishop of New York, here and here, advocating that both the Catholic clergy and its laymen take a page from that tough mick’s book and deal with the Obama administration’s unconstitutional attack on religious conscience and the First Amendment the way Dagger John would have: by defying it.

Civil disobedience was all the rage on the left when I was a lad during the Vietnam War era. Refuse to register for the draft; declare your conscientious objector status if called; refuse to pay that portion of your taxes that went to support the Pentagon, etc. The liberals couldn’t wrap themselves in enough moral goodness as they cursed and spat upon the returning soldiers in their customarily peaceful and tolerant fashion.

Time to turn the tables by using their own weapons and tactics against them.

It was said of Dagger John that he was “more a Roman gladiator than a devout follower of the meek founder of Christianity.” To face the secular threat of the modern Left, we’re going to need a lot more gladiators.

It ain’t just the Christian church, both Protestant and Catholic, that needs to get its head out of the sand, shed all comforting delusions, and boldly defy our would-be masters. For all of us, it’s quickly boiling down to this simple expression: On your feet, or on your knees.

You don’t have to like it. But you DO have to recognize it.

In any war, to refuse to fight back vigorously is effectively to surrender. At such a perilous crossroads of history not only our freedom but our very future hangs precariously in the balance…waiting. A stark, binary choice must be made; there is no longer any middle ground, no third way, no half-measures. Anyone who declines to engage, in any way they can manage, in defense of what’s right, just, and true might as well just declare themselves actively in league with the enemy and be done with it.

Craven update! Oh, it’s the Church Militant alright. But not in the way Walsh meant.

Black Lives Matter DESTROYED and TORCHED the historic St. John’s Church in Washington DC in late May.

St. John’s was designed by noted architect Benjamin Henry Latrobe to serve Episcopalians in the neighborhoods in the western end of Washington. The cornerstone of St. John’s was set on September 14, 1815.

Beginning with James Madison, until the present, every President of the United States has attended a service at St. John’s Church.

St. John’s Church leaders invited Black Lives Matter to paint race-based themes on the boarded up church this weekend.

They did not ask for Christian themes — they asked for racial themes.

Well, I mean, this IS Episcopalians we’re talking about here. But still. One can’t help but wonder what or who might be influencing these pathetic fools to prostrate themselves at the altar of cowardice and appeasement. Could it be…ohh, let me see…SATAN?!?

This has been going on for decades, of course, but its most striking manifestation of late has been the near-total failure of the Christian church to expose and reject the destructive fraud that is Black Lives Matter.

That kind of failure requires extraordinary ignorance, extraordinary cowardice, or both. After all, it’s not like the veil hasn’t come off Black Lives Matter, if it was ever there in the first place. Its founders openly profess their allegiance to Marxism, history’s most genocidal ideology. Its members repeatedly encourage violence, destruction, and even murder. Its website calls for the “disruption of the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure”, the end of accepting heterosexuality as normal, and the avoidance of “environments in which men are centered”.

At least two of its leading lights—Patrisse Cullors and Malina Abdullah—practice a Yoruban zombie religion in which they may, or may not, sacrifice animals to invite the spirits of the dead to possess their bodies during their nightly riot activities. (Abdullah says she’s become very friendly with the spirits of the dead, and has had a lot of laughs with one named “Wakeesha”).

In addition, the cited catalyst for the entire movement—the “murder” of Trayvon Martin in 2012—is a lie. Trayvon Martin was not “murdered”. He violently assaulted a man named George Zimmerman by pounding his head into the pavement. Zimmerman then shot him in self-defense. That’s precisely why a jury of six women acquitted him. Yet Black Lives Matter is still calling it a “murder” on its website.

The second rationale for the movement—that a racist white cop gunned down an innocent “gentle giant” named Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri—is also a lie. After robbing a store, Brown attacked a police officer trying to arrest him. As a result, the officer shot Brown in self-defense. Attorney General Eric Holder himself confirmed this after an exhaustive review.

These aren’t the only Black Lives Matter lies, of course. It’s a lie that there’s an epidemic of racist police shootings. It’s a lie that defunding the police will help black communities (it does just the opposite, and has already directly enabled the murder of hundreds more black people, including children).

In short, you couldn’t invent an organization which more flagrantly violates a greater number of Biblical commandments and Christian ideals than Black Lives Matter. You have murder, beatings, necromancy, stealing, bearing false witness, covetousness, lying, insurrection against duly-elected leaders, worshipping false gods, assaults on the family, assaults on heterosexuality, and a transparently fake concern for the black lives every real Christian is duty-bound to see as creations of God. It’s a Satanic dream.

And yet…

Pretty much all of Leftism is a Satanic dream, really. Ironic that the modern libtard-subverted church would be so eager to grovel at the feet of the Prince Of Lies, solely in order to court the favor of people who hate them above almost anything else.

Joe Biden Accused of Groping Breast of Secret Service Agent’s Girlfriend During 2009 Photo-Op
Judicial Watch announced on Thursday that it filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security for records that were allegedly destroyed by the Secret Service regarding a 2009 incident between then-Vice President Joe Biden and a Secret Service agent.

Their original FOIA request was made back on May 12, 2020, and sought “all records related to a reported incident in 2009 in which a United States Secret Service Agent reportedly was involved in an altercation with, or attempted to strike, then Vice President Joe Biden” during a photo opportunity.

According to Judicial Watch, the lawsuit was filed after the Secret Service “failed to respond to a July 14, 2020 administrative appeal challenging its claim that all files related to the 2009 altercation ‘ha[d] been destroyed’ due to ‘retention standards.’”

According to the report, an unidentified Secret Service agent was suspended for a week after the incident for shoving the vice president “after he cupped his girlfriend’s breast while the couple was taking a photo with him.”

“The situation got so heated … that others had to step in to prevent the agent from hitting the then-Vice President,” according to the report.

The Secret Service did not deny the incident occurred.

Sheesh, what can one even say at this point about pervy, creepy old Grampy Gropey? More-worser from GP, who broke this appalling but unsurprising story back in 2017.

Speaking on the condition of anonymity, the agent asserted that, “we had to cancel the VP Christmas get together at the Vice President’s house because Biden would grope all of our wives and girlfriend’s asses.” The annual party was for agents and Navy personnel who were tasked with protecting the Biden family.

The Secret Service has now inadvertently confirmed our report to Judicial Watch, who has filed a lawsuit after the Secret Service failed to respond to a July 14, 2020 administrative appeal challenging its claim that all files related to the 2009 altercation, “ha[d] been destroyed,” due to “retention standards.”

Lest we forget, there’s also this oldie but icky:

Seven women accused Biden of touching them inappropriately before Tara Reade accused him of full-on sexual assault.

The way forward

Can’t remember where it was that I ran across this guy, but into Ye Olde Blogrolle and bookmarks he’s surely a-going, with a quickness.

The title of today’s essay is the answer to the pressing question, “What would you do were you Trump?”

Opening fire is what I would do if I were in charge. What you are I ourselves should do is a difficult question, when even self defense against the mob is a crime. (If you’re white or unwoke.) But that it is such a difficult question is why I, if I were in charge, would open fire.

Now it is not legal to riot, burn, loot, pillage, commit mayhem and murder, even if done in the name of “anti-racism” or whatever other slogan the rabble uses to justify their rapine. It is, however, legal to use force, even deadly force, to quell riots. Further, everybody knows all these things and the reasons behind them. So opening fire is justified, though perhaps not prudent. I say it is prudent, and hope to convince you of that.

Everybody also knows progressive mayors, governors and most of our oligarchs are encouraging the riots, asking their own people, as it were, to shit in their own backyards and then light themselves on fire. These rulers have no love for their peoples, and are acting immorally to increase their own power. These rulers thus have no moral authority and can and must be usurped by higher authority. Part of “opening fire” would include the arrest, trial, and hanging of those mayors, governors, and oligarchs convicted of treason and dereliction of sacred duty.

Opening fire might indeed lose Trump the election, because propagandists would scream “Literally Hitler!” with demonic fury—well, with increased demonic fury. These propagandists would be believed by a sufficient number of the easily persuaded. If Trump loses because of opening fire, right wing purges would begin in earnest next January, and our approach toward the leftist singularity would accelerate.

But don’t forget we accelerate if Trump loses even without opening fire. The perplexed, unbelieving looks on the faces of aging right wing boomers gripping their yellowed copies of the Constitution as new “laws” are passed to confiscate guns, limit speech, and ban “hate” might even be worth seeing. If you can’t have a sense of humor as the world burns, then you will never learn to laugh.

Yep, I definitely like the cut of Briggs’ jib. I especially enjoyed the bit about arresting, trying, and hanging these criminal governors and mayors. All joking around aside, that’s a proposal that, while perhaps distasteful in some small ways, is seriously in need of following through on. He has more and even better ideas, all of which I support wholeheartedly. And then there’s this one:

Looting As Reparations Is A Good Idea

Even though riots, looting, pillaging, murder and mayhem and treason are illegal, immoral, and unethical, and that putting them down through the use of violence is historically validated, legal, moral, and ethical, we all know violence is wrong. So, even though I advocated opening fire on the lawless rabble two days ago, I now see no good Christian can advocate fighting the lawless takeover of our cities. I therefore embrace looting as a means to redress in social inequities.

In this, I follow California in saying we need to “Consider Needs Of Looters Before Charging Them“. Looting can be a positive good.

The theory how looting is good insists only BLACKS!—this spelling is racism-free—were ever slaves, and only whites their masters. All whites share in the guilt of slavery, because they are white and whites share in all evils because they are white. Every BLACK! was beaten, raped, tortured and killed daily while a slave, which traumatized the genetics of their descendants. (Yes.)

The idea is that all these other races, like whites, must pony up because they have benefited from the labors of the slaves. The reasoning goes like this: sewers, corn off the cob in cans, electricity, and other whatnots are here and being used, and slaves were once here and were made to do work. Therefore, all are beneficiaries of slavery, and so all must pay.

Of course, modern BLACKS! also benefit and use these same services and infrastructures like everybody else, and have done so for a long time. These usages would have done some good to BLACKS!, like they have to other races, but because of thing called systemic racism, the good didn’t stick in BLACKS!

Systemic racism is officially defined as the racism that remains once racism has been removed.

So it’s reparations. New reparations, that is. The older reparations, such as sixty-some years of Affirmative Action, quotas in hiring and matriculation, set asides in contracts, endless woke corporate donations and pandering, an official History Month and federal holiday, accelerated promotions, the worship of the BLACK! bodies and BLACK! culture, and so on and so on and so on were not really reparations because they were not called reparations. Words matter.

They do at that. Just so long as we make certain that they all wind up folded, spindled, and mutilated into meaning the exact opposite of what was originally intended, hey, it’s all good.

Point: missed, by a mile

Something has been bothering me for a while now, and with this latest revoltin’ development I can remain silent no longer.

See the problem here? That’s from the Liberty Daily, a news aggregator I use quite a bit for blogfodder purposes, and I do like ’em. They’ve been selling a whole selection of these masks for a while now. I didn’t much care for seeing the ads and all but, y’know, fine, everybody’s gotta make a buck where they can, right? No skin off my nose, really.

I very nearly piped up a cpl-three weeks ago, though, when they ran one for a face diaper sporting the slogan “I Hate Wearing This.” I mean, come ON, guys. If you really hate wearing it, then…don’t wear the damned thing, ‘kay? There are easy ways of dodging those unconstitutional edicts—such as claiming “medically exempt” any time you’re pushed on it, which is perfectly acceptable in most states. Heck, I even went so far as to just yank my T-shirt up over my head in one of my favorite restaurants once, just as a joke to amuse my daughter. The people at the pizza joint, a place I take the young ‘un to regularly and whose small staff I am friendly with, just about fell over laughing at me as I flailed around crashing into walls and such.

Even with the up-front, irritating ludicrousness of the “I Hate Wearing This” mask—the sad admission of weakness, submission, and lack of self-respect implicit in the message—still, I held my peace. I’m aware that there are plenty of people who really do have no choice in the matter; having been a lifelong scofflaw my whole life, noncompliance is second nature to me by now anyway, so I have no wish to be too hard on normal people who have to put up with the damnable things in order to hold onto their job. Whatevs. Live and live, I always say.

But really now: Live Free Or Die? Printed on a Mask Of Submission? Guess y’all must be dead then, guys. Because if you’ve accepted the bit to the point that you’re willing to disgrace yourself in public by donning the face diaper—even though You Hate Wearing This, mind—then Living Free is the very damned thing you are NOT doing, by even the most malleable of definitions.

We’ll just leave the concomitant damn-foolery of any putative American being willing to drop 15 bucks for a five-dollar insult to the Founders alone for now. Although I do have to wonder how many of them have been sold. I’m pretty sure that I truly do not want to know. I am not about to ask, for fear of what the answer might be. Again, nothing against Liberty Daily, but I have to hope sales have been somewhat less than brisk.

Of course, it isn’t helping matters any that “Live free or die” is the official state motto of a certain New England Democrat-Socialist stronghold so liberal it’s not only shown little to no interest whatsoever in bothering to live up to said motto, it actually seems to have become openly hostile to it in recent years.

Holding back the Dismal Tide

Q: What happens if Trump loses? A: More, and worse.

In modern America, hypocrisy and double standards aren’t merely part of the business climate; they’re endemic to the whole society. Former Heritage Foundation scholar and Washington Times writer Sam Francis dubbed this system “anarcho-tyranny”: complete freedom—even exemption from the gravest laws—for the favored, maximum vindictive enforcement against the pettiest infractions by the disfavored.

Rarely has an analysis been so vindicated by events. Even before the 1619 Riots began in May, anarcho-tyranny was already the de facto law of the land. Can you remember the last time anyone in Antifa was punished for anything? I can’t. But I do remember community college adjunct philosophy professor and Antifa thug Eric Clanton walloping three people on the head with a five-pound iron bike lock—and the Alameda County, California district attorney letting him go with probation.

I also remember, in pre-apocalypse New York City, Antifa goons getting into a fight—it’s hard to say who started it—with a group of men calling themselves the Proud Boys. Although no one was seriously injured, the NYPD expended significant time and resources tracking down the Proud Boys, but none whatsoever looking for any Antifa figures involved. Two Proud Boys were sentenced to four years in prison. No Antifa members were ever identified, much less charged with any crime, still much less tried or convicted. At most, the incident was a mutually idiotic brawl for which only one side was punished. The real distinction here is that the Proud Boys are regime dissidents while Antifa thugs are ruling-class shock troops.

All that, though, was child’s play compared to the nightly horrors Antifa—and their BLM allies—have wreaked on America’s streets for three straight months with close to zero official attempt to rein them in, and often with officials cheering them on. Examples—from Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to Governors Gavin Newsom, Andrew Cuomo, and Tim Walz, to Mayors Bill de Blasio, Eric Garcetti, Lori Lightfoot, Jenny Durkan, Ted Wheeler, and Jacob Frey—are too numerous to catalog fully. The latest atrocity came from Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers, who, the instant a career criminal wanted on an active warrant was shot while resisting arrest and, it appears, reaching into his car for a knife, took to Twitter to fire up the mob. His state’s fourth-largest city has burned every night since. It took him days to make even a token appeal for calm.

Then consider the fates of those not destroying America in the name of “social justice.” This story is still “developing” as they say, but as of Friday, August 28, a young man who appears to have had a Molotov cocktail thrown at him, a loaded pistol pointed at his face, and his head bashed with a skateboard after being chased by three Antifa thugs is currently in jail on a charge of first-degree murder.

The fundamental right of self-defense—the bedrock foundation of all our other rights—increasingly is not honored if you’re a member of a disfavored group and your attacker is not.

Our officials—at least in all the Democratic Party-controlled state and local governments—operate in the precise opposite way that they are supposed to. Instead of enforcing the law and maintaining order, they encourage riots, refuse to enforce the law, and then leap into action only when a victim defends himself. This is not incompetence or misguided idealism; it is evil. Should it continue, it will lead either to the collapse of the country or to revolution.

To return to more prosaic matters, should Trump lose, the repowered thought police will greatly expand its “enemies list.” Those deemed “dangerous” by the wokerati will be dogged by authorities. Any suspected dissident not as scrupulous as Caesar’s wife in his every interaction with the state will get the book thrown at him for minor, technical infractions of some law, executive order, or administrative rule. As the poor sucker is hauled away in cuffs by a heavily armed team of feds in windbreakers, CNN and MSNBC reporters—tipped off in advance to get it all on camera—will intone that this “dangerous white supremacist” with “ties to neo-Nazi groups” was “planning attacks.” Months or years later, after being held without bail, the unfortunate target will be convicted of something like mail fraud and given the maximum sentence.

All of this is easy enough to predict because it is either what the Left is already doing where it has the power, or what it says it wants to do.

The lessons of California and New York show that when leftists no longer face opposition, they do whatever they want—or try to. The problem (for them, for now) is that they still face opposition from the red elements still extant in the federal government, from red states, and from red communities in their own states. Once the whole country has gone blue, though, things will be…different.

Don’t kid yourself for one moment that things couldn’t possibly get worse. Stretch “Antoinette” Piglosi just made the ultimate case for why all professional politicians of right ought to be strung up from the nearest lamppost without delay.

And that case is Air. Fucking. TIGHT.

San Francisco salon owner Erica Kious disputed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) claim that she was “set up” by the salon this week when she broke COVID-19 restrictions and got her hair done at the salon, saying that Pelosi was the one who called and set up the appointment, and that she has been “coming in for quite a while.”

“She had called the stylist, or her assistant did, and made the appointment, so the appointment was already booked, so there was no way I could’ve set that up,” Kious said. “And I’ve had a camera system in there for five years. I mean, I didn’t go in there and turn cameras on as soon as she walked in to set her up. So that’s absolutely false.”

“So, Pelosi says that salons in San Francisco, and of course she lives there and she’s the most powerful democratic legislator in the world, but she said she understood that the restrictions allowed a one-on-one appointment in salons,” Fox News host Tucker Carlson said. “What do you make on that?”

“I heard that, and I thought to myself, well, as a hairstylist I see clients one-on-one, so, that would mean I would be open, right?” Kious responded.

“Are you open?” Carlson asked.

“No,” she responded.

Her Royal Majesty Piglousy, being who and what she is, has demanded an “apology” from the salon owner for daring to question her obviously justified elevation in status over the lowly peonage, and sent her legions of flying monkeys to avenge the disgrace of actually having to listening to the serf class having the temerity to question her about anything at all she wishes to do. Indeed, Her Most Puissant Highness is most displeased with you benighted swine, she is.

When asked what the shutdown has done to her business, Kious responded: “For the past six months, we’ve, I mean, we are pretty much done. I mean, we’ve lost at least 60% of our clients. I’ve lost the majority of my staff, so, six months is a long time to be closed down.”

“How do you feel about seeing the most powerful woman in America come into your salon in violation of the rules she supports, get caught, and then blame you for it?” Carlson asked.

You damned well better feel damned contrite about it, and hope that Her Liege is in a forgiving mood, lest she decree that your head be separated from your neck forcibly, with extreme prejudice.

“To be honest, it was more hurtful,” Kious responded. “She’s been coming in for quite a while, and just to see her come in and especially not wearing the mask, that’s what really got to me, but this isn’t even political. She’s been coming in there. It’s the fact that she actually came in and didn’t have a mask on, and I just thought about my staff and people not being able to work and make money and provide for their families, and if she is in there comfortably without a mask and feeling safe, then why are we shut down? Why am I not able to have clients come in? So, it’s been hard.”

“If Nancy Pelosi feels comfortable using your salon, why can’t civilians use it?” Carlson asked.

“Exactly and I’ll be honest, in our area in San Francisco, we are obviously the last county or city to not open,” she answered. “We’ve been trying to figure that out. We’ve been asking ourselves these questions for six months—I mean for the past actually four months, of why we are not reopened, and it’s kind of a good question. Again, we don’t know.”

Kious later stated that she does not plan on staying in San Francisco after this whole ordeal because of how the community has treated her in response to the situation with Pelosi.

Submissive update! David Marcus searches hard for a silver lining.

Perhaps some good can come of Pelosi’s ignominy. Perhaps seeing her insane hypocrisy, owners will start opening their businesses and daring petty tyrants like Mayor de Blasio and Gov. Cuomo to shut them down. One of the truly remarkable — and chilling — aspects of the more arbitrary lockdown rules is that, in general, they have been consented to, not enforced. We have given away our rights as much they have been taken from us. Well, if Pelosi doesn’t have to live under these absurd restrictions, then neither should you.

The jig is up here. People have a right to feel frustrated and furious, and they also have a right to disobey these crushing laws that Democratic leaders impose but refuse to live by.

If all of this is beginning to feel to you like a sick charade, you aren’t alone. This is a slap in the face, but Democrats and their media allies don’t care. They are counting on you to just take it. But the American people can only take so much before they start demanding their lives and livelihoods back.

Might be time to bring back some old, tried-and-true favorites—like tar and feathers, riding on a rail, and the stocks.

Today we’re settling all outstanding family business.

President Trump held a press conference with the White House press corps on Monday following Joe Biden’s botched speech on far left rioting in America.

It wasn’t botched. It was one hundred percent lies start to finish—except, as Tucker noted, the bit where he threatened Real Americans with unending riots, looting, and murder if they don’t vote for whoever is running him—but that doesn’t mean it was “botched.” Lies are simply all they have left now.

CNN’s Kaitlin Collins asked the president if he will condemn his violent supporters in Portland.

This comes after a BLM-Antifa terrorist shot dead a Trump supporter this weekend.

Only a liberal media hack would ask such a question.

President Trump dunked on the CNN hack linking the liberal media to the violent rioters!

President Donald Trump: I understand there were large numbers of protesters who were my supporters but that was a peaceful protest. And paint is a defensive mechanism. Paint is not bullets. Your supporters, and they are your supporters, shot a young gentleman, not with paint but with a bullet. And I think it’s disgraceful. These people they protested peacefully, they went in very peacefully. I tell you what they’re protesting. They turn on the television or are reading whatever they are reading and see a city like Chicago where 78 people were shot and 13 died. Or a city like New York where the crime rate has gone through the roof. Or a city like Portland where the entire city are ablaze all the time and the mayor says, “We don’t want any help from the federal government.” When these people turn it on and they say that this is not our country, this is not our country!

This press conference was nothing short of amazing, with a crapton more excellent stuff from that point. Trump directly named and shamed the Democrat-Riot Party, calling them out in no uncertain terms as the ones responsible for the violence and destruction they intentionally instigated. But the high point was in reference to this:

The Department of Justice has launched an investigation into the organization and funding of the violent protests that have disrupted several U.S. cities in recent months, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Chad Wolf told “Tucker Carlson Tonight” Monday.

“This is something that I have talked to the AG personally about,” said Wolf, adding that the DOJ is now focused on “targeting and investigating the head of these organizations, [and] the individuals that are paying for these individuals to move across the country.

“What we know, Tucker, is that we have seen groups and individuals move from Portland to other parts of the country,” Wolf addeed. “Almost 100 of them were from out of state.”

Wolf revealed the probe days after Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., called on the Justice Department to investigate those funding the organized riots after he and his wife were accosted by demonstrators on the final night of the Republican National Convention.

Paul commented on the issue in an opinion piece for Fox News published Friday, revealing some of the protesters were actually staying in the same hotel — and on the same floor — as he and his wife.

“My question is: Who are these people?,” he wrote. “Who paid for their hotel rooms? Who flew them in? Law enforcement needs to look at the funding of violent criminal activity like this. And national Democrats need to confront it. It’s organized. It’s paid for. It’s violent. It’s not about Black lives or any lives; it’s about anarchy and destruction.”

According to Wolf, investigators agree that violent actors “are moving around” the country.

“We have seen them in D.C., in Sacramento, and elsewhere,” he said. “They are organized. We have seen similar tactics being used from Portland and other cities across the country as well.”

Wolf pledged the help of the Department of Homeland Security to assist the Justice Department in their probe.

Now, I’m quite sure that President Trump is personally acquainted with evil pond scum like Soros, Buffet, Styer, and the Leftist revolutionary front organizations they use to funnel clandestine cash to the Democrat-Riot Party’s PantiFa/BLM/etc stormtroopers. As he’s been proving for more than four years now, to the heartbroken chagrin of Leftards everywhere, Trump is neither stupid nor gullible.

It only stands to reason, therefore, that he knows full well what has really been going on this long, ruinous summer〈not only WHAT, but also WHY it’s going on, and WHO is behind it all.

And with today’s announcement of this ongoing investigation, Real Americans get their own lesson in why it’s important never to underestimate one Donald J Trump, President of the United States of America, blessings be upon him. Remember, folks: just because you can’t see it at the moment doesn’t mean that nothing is happening.

He knows how they’re gonna come at him. He’s known all along.

Update! The usual suspects.

One, dangerously opaque foundations, such as the Tides Foundation, which takes cash in big amounts from anonymous donors and has been known to contribute to terroristic organizations such as Earth First! and the “Ruckus Society,” have stepped up their donations to “social justice” and “criminal justice” and “racial justice” organizations. George Soros’s Open Society Foundation, while less opaque, given that the group’s money comes from Soros’s vast fortune as a currency speculator, is in this category, too. Here is what the New York Post, via the Center for Consumer Freedom, noted:

The New York Post reports today that the secretive Tides Foundation began organizing attacks on President Bush after receiving millions of dollars from foundations controlled by presidential candidate John Kerry’s wife. Tides’ role in this “charitable money-laundering” operation is hardly surprising. After all, for over two decades it has been a major financial clearinghouse for radical activist groups. Many major philanthropies like the Ford Foundation and Pew Charitable Trusts fund projects through Tides to disguise themselves as the funding source.

Anti-consumer beneficiaries of Tides’ “anonymous” funds include Greenpeace, the Ruckus Society, the Center for Science in the Public Interest, the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), and Earth First!. Earth First! spun-off the FBI-certified “terrorist” Earth Liberation Front in 1992. Tides was instrumental in NRDC’s now-infamous (and unfounded) health scare about Alar on apples. NRDC paid the PR firm that was promoting the scare through the Tides Foundation.

Second, the Democrats, who also take money from the donors to these foundations that may be behind these riots, have been curiously silent in their failure to condemn the violence, even on people they know and work with from the Senate building. Joe Biden made a general condemnation of violence after poll numbers showed that rioter violence was not playing well with the American voters, but he hasn’t said a thing about the attack on Sen. Rand Paul. His running mate, Kamala Harris, is even worse, witchily cackling that the violence will never stop, as noted in this well written blog item today by Bill Dunne here.

Paul noted the irony of his own role in attempting to get justice for Breonna Taylor, who was killed in a no-knock raid on apparently the wrong apartment, writing a bill to ban no-knock raids. But he came off as a little naïve there — these mobs aren’t interested in reform. They want to tear the whole edifice down, and some huge billionaires are behind them. More than tanks in the streets, there needs to be an investigation into who’s funding these mobs and arrests of the foundation executives and moneybag billionaires found to be involved. We still don’t know precisely which ones are doing this, and it’s critical that we find out, because as Harris says, the attacks won’t stop (and we need to know how Harris would know this, too).

There’s nothing whatever “curious” about the Demonrats’ silence on the chaos. They’re behind this whole mess: running it, supporting it, instigating it. And yes, I noted Paul’s unfortunate and nearly-fatal naivete last night my own self. He and a sizeable portion of the rest of the country had better wake up to some extremely unpleasant realities most ricky-tick, before the Democrat-Riot Party has this entire nation circling the same drain their blue cities now are.

As for Harris, just guess how she knows.

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have a problem. They know it, the media knows it, everyone knows it.

For three months they have ignored the deadly rioting that spread across the nation’s cities on both coasts and in between. They insisted that what we were seeing was “mostly peaceful” protests and that Donald Trump and his evil allies were defaming decent Americans who just want social justice. Now they want to denounce these riots, but there is a problem: Harris is a financial supporter of the rioters she now claims to denounce.

Yes, that’s right, the Democrats’ vice presidential candidate was a huckster for a bail fund that sought to free violent criminals who were rioting on the streets of Minneapolis, and she was very effective at it. In the wake of deadly fires and looting, Harris asked her five million plus Twitter followers to donate money to bail out the “protesters” arrested in the riots. Let’s meet a few of the beneficiaries of her largesse, shall we?

It’s the usual aggregation of creeps, reprobates, whey-faced pustules, and prison-bound mental defectives always found in abundance wherever Lefties gather, naturally.

The American people aren’t stupid, they know exactly where Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party stood on the riots. They stood side by side with the rioters. That they have now cynically come to regret that position is, I suppose, a good thing. But it does not erase the harm done in lives, property, and opportunity that their approval of rioting did. We know whose side they were on, and it wasn’t the police. The American people will not forget that.

Well, I suppose we’ll find out soon enough whether they will or won’t, and just how stupid or not the American people might be. Because the choice is indeed abundantly clear: whether Americans love Trump or just hate him all to pieces, a vote for Biden is a vote for more trouble, more violence, more anarchy, more harm.
