Just no stopping Libido Joe

Oh come ON, man!

Joe Biden Accused of Groping Breast of Secret Service Agent’s Girlfriend During 2009 Photo-Op
Judicial Watch announced on Thursday that it filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security for records that were allegedly destroyed by the Secret Service regarding a 2009 incident between then-Vice President Joe Biden and a Secret Service agent.

Their original FOIA request was made back on May 12, 2020, and sought “all records related to a reported incident in 2009 in which a United States Secret Service Agent reportedly was involved in an altercation with, or attempted to strike, then Vice President Joe Biden” during a photo opportunity.

According to Judicial Watch, the lawsuit was filed after the Secret Service “failed to respond to a July 14, 2020 administrative appeal challenging its claim that all files related to the 2009 altercation ‘ha[d] been destroyed’ due to ‘retention standards.’”

According to the report, an unidentified Secret Service agent was suspended for a week after the incident for shoving the vice president “after he cupped his girlfriend’s breast while the couple was taking a photo with him.”

“The situation got so heated … that others had to step in to prevent the agent from hitting the then-Vice President,” according to the report.

The Secret Service did not deny the incident occurred.

Sheesh, what can one even say at this point about pervy, creepy old Grampy Gropey? More-worser from GP, who broke this appalling but unsurprising story back in 2017.

Speaking on the condition of anonymity, the agent asserted that,  “we had to cancel the VP Christmas get together at the Vice President’s house because Biden would grope all of our wives and girlfriend’s asses.” The annual party was for agents and Navy personnel who were tasked with protecting the Biden family.

The Secret Service has now inadvertently confirmed our report to Judicial Watch, who has filed a lawsuit after the Secret Service failed to respond to a July 14, 2020 administrative appeal challenging its claim that all files related to the 2009 altercation, “ha[d] been destroyed,” due to “retention standards.”

Lest we forget, there’s also this oldie but icky:

Seven women accused Biden of touching them inappropriately before Tara Reade accused him of full-on sexual assault.

Previously, we knew he would swim naked in front of his female Secret Service agents instead of just putting on briefs for that particular swim.

And now this.

Yep. With Grampy Gropey, sexual assault is a bottomless well.

CANCELLED!

Aww shucks, what a shame.

Portland’s 100% Antifa Murder Suspect Shot Dead By U.S. Marshals in Washington
The left-wing agitator who shot a Trump supporter in Portland last weekend, was shot and killed during a shootout with U.S. Marshals in Washington, Thursday evening, according to the Olympian.

Michael Forest Reinoehl, 48, had reportedly crossed state lines into Washington and the federal fugitive task force was able to track him to Lacey, Washington, a town outside of Olympia.

The usual Lefty mouthbreathers will undoubtedly weep, wail, and riot over their fellow cretinous cur’s having been “gunned down in cold blood” by “murderous, out of control cops,” “assassinated” and/or “executed” most cruelly, and blah de blah de blah. They can eat a great big bag of dead dog dicks over the injustice of the thing, for all I care; as long as the worthless motherfucker has been permanently wiped off the face of the earth—hopefully suffering horribly before assuming ambient temperature—I give not a single shit.

Now do another.

The antifa gunman had been arrested twice in recent months on multiple charges, including gun charges.

Reinoehl posted on Instagram, in June: “Every revolution needs people that are willing and ready to fight. There are many of us protesters that are just protesting without a clue of where that will lead. That’s just the beginning that’s where the fight starts. If that’s as far and you can take it thank you for your participation but please stand aside and support the ones that are willing to fight. I am 100% ANTIFA all the way! I am willing to fight for my brothers and sisters! Even if some of them are too ignorant to realize what antifa truly stands for.”

Oh yeah, big tough warrior talking there—after he oh-so-bravely sneaked up behind a guiltless bystander and murdered him for no reason at all.

Hey, know what happens in a real war, asswart? Soldiers get kilt. So with any luck, a hell of a lot more of your fellow “warriors” will be joining you in the Choir Invisible very, very soon.

Meanwhile, burn baby burn.

Update! Speaking of dead scumbags.

The world little realizes just how monumental a service True American Hero Kyle Rittenhouse did for it when he took out this fucking trash.

Oh, and what was it I was saying just now about the Left weeping and moaning over the murderer ReinowinHell being righteously put down for an eternal dirt nap?

On Thursday night, 48-year-old Michael Forest Reinoehl, a man suspected of killing Trump supporter Aaron “Jay” Danielson, died in a shootout as U.S. Marshals closed in on his hideout. Reinoehl had posted, “I am 100% ANTIFA all the way,” (although he later insisted he was not a “member” of antifa) and he had joined the rioters during most of the nearly 100 nights they have terrorized the streets of Portland. He all but confessed to shooting Danielson in an interview Vice News published on Thursday. After Reinoehl’s death, Portland antifa rioters appear to have made him something of a martyr.

“You murdered Michael Reinoehl,” antifa rioters spray-painted on the street in front of the Penumbra Kelly Building, which houses Portland Police Bureau (PPB) offices and which rioters have repeatedly attacked.

“You killed Michael,” another graffiti message charged. “PPB murdered Michael Reinoehl,” read another. “[There is] blood on YOUR hands,” read a fourth.

Good. Ideally, Real Americans will be positively swimming in seas of PantiFa blood before long.

Another graffiti message featured hearts saying, “Long live Mike the best ally ever.”

Ahem. “Long live,” eh? Ummm, not so much, you malignant little parasite.

Too bad, so sad.

Ohhh, it is ON now!

Okay, that’s it. This is the final fucking STRAW.

Rock ‘n’ roll legend Elvis Presley’s famous mansion “Graceland” in Memphis, Tennessee has been vandalized by BLM supporters.

On Monday night, “protesters” who support the Marxist organization Black Lives Matter spray-painted slogans such as “Defund the police,” “Abolish ICE,” “F*ck 12,” “F*ck Trump,” and more on the wall and sidewalks surrounding the estate.

The damage is estimated to cost around $150,000.

Country musician Travis Tritt condemned the vandalism on Twitter, writing, “Anyone who personally knew Elvis will tell you that he absolutely loved the black community and the black community loved him. It breaks my heart to see his memory tarnished this way.”

Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee said, “Where I come from you don’t mess with Elvis!”

Damned straight you don’t. Kill them. Kill them ALL. No mercy, no quarter, no remorse.

Simple solutions are rarely either simple, or solutions

Schlichter splashes a bucket of cold-water practical reality all over the “send in the troops” idea.

Let me share some background. After I got off active duty the first time, I joined the California Army National Guard. For the next 23 years I participated in, planned, and commanded during multiple civilian support operations. I was in the Los Angeles Riots, the Northridge Earthquake, and I commanded two battalions along with other forces in northern San Diego County during the 2007 fires. I planned ops from platoon to state headquarters level, and wrote about civil support ops in Infantry magazine and even in a first-of-its-kind law review article. So, I know a little about this stuff.

And what I know tells me that, despite our fantastic soldiers’ abilities, this is a bad idea.

But why? Let’s address the donkey in the room – Democrat governors, mayors and district attorneys do not want military forces deployed and will at least refuse to cooperate with them, if not actively hinder them. That makes a blue city like Portland a “non-permissive environment,” and the military is certainly designed to operate in them. That’s why when the military moves in force with, say, an infantry brigade combat team (IBCT) of 5,000 soldiers plus support elements (thousands more), we essentially deploy a small town with everything we need to survive – food, fuel, ammo, medical, maintenance, commo, power, transportation, even lawyers. Typically, in cities engulfed in chaos, it’s a permissive environment. The cops work with us. They take custody of arrestees, hold them, and the DA prosecutes them. Hospitals take in our wounded and sick. We use local government property to operate out of. We have access to the infrastructure of society. But what if the Democrat regime refuses to allow all that? Then the troops are on their own; it’s now an invasion, and while doable logistically, it takes a massive footprint.

A permissive environment solves some, but not all of the issues we will review. A non-permissive environment makes the whole thing exponentially worse.

The complications and punji-pits just go on a-multiplying from there, and Kurt delves into ’em thoroughly. I’ve been torn from the start about it myself; on the one hand, it’s tough to argue that a President should sit on his hands while a large number of Democrat-Riot Party governors and mayors sit back and let their cities be damaged and destroyed, rendered uninhabitable by their so-called leaders’ refusal to live up to their responsibilities, honor their oath of office, and do their duty.

On the other, though, it couldn’t have been more apparent that, their obstructionism aside, those outright criminal Demonrat officials were salivating at the prospect of being to brand Trump a dictator when he tried to restore law and order via military force. It is NEVER a good idea to do what Demonrats want—NEVER.

On the gripping hand, I can’t help but be reminded of Lincoln’s frustrated fatalism in January 1862: “It is exceedingly discouraging. As everywhere else, nothing can be done.”

But that isn’t by any means what Schlichter is saying.

These hard truths are not to say there is nothing for the feds to do. Until the Democrat regimes decide this needs to end and cooperate, the feds should do one of the few things the feds are good at – taking down large criminal organizations. Antifa is just like the drug cartels with less testosterone, and just like the mafia except with worse clothes and less testosterone. The feds should ignore the street thugs who make up the shock troops. It was no coincidence that 100 percent of the people Kyle shot had criminal records. The feds should focus on the LARPing middle class SJWs and the dedicated Marxist cadre and use RICO, conspiracy, and other federal charges to take them out and lock them up. When little Ashleigh from the suburbs realizes that she’s looking at five years in federal prison instead of heading back to the Evergreen State to finish her Bolivian Trans Dance of the 13th Century degree, the lawyer daddy buys her will get her to sing like a canary about her commie pals. The feds should identify and map the whole criminal organization, identify its players and funding, and wipe it out.

Look, it’s perfectly understandable to be frustrated. But getting mad at Trump because he is not doing something that would turn into the cluster fark to end all cluster farks is doing exactly what the liberal elite and its media minions want. Let Portland and the rest of the blue cities trash themselves. Let the DOJ, which has already charged dozens of these degenerates with federal beefs, do its thing. And make sure you get out and vote straight Republican if you want any hope of this ever ending.

And hey, whaddyaknow:

Feds start leveling rare civil disorder charges against demonstrators for alleged violence at Portland protests
Two men and a woman appeared before a federal judge Wednesday in Portland, becoming the first in Oregon to face the rare federal charge of civil disorder for alleged violence during this summer’s turbulent protests.

A Seattle man is accused of launching a ball bearing with a slingshot during a downtown demonstration in July and striking a Portland Fire Bureau medic.

A Portland woman is accused of throwing a helmet that struck a police sergeant in the head last week outside the Police Bureau’s North Precinct.

The felony cases against Jesse Herman Bates, 38, Michelle Peterson O’Connor, 31, and Krystopher Michael Donnelly, 27, mark a significant detour from past practice in Oregon — federal prosecutors here haven’t used the charge in recent memory.

But U.S. attorneys in half a dozen other cities have brought similar civil disorder charges tied to violence that has erupted during protests nationwide decrying the May 25 death of George Floyd, a Black man who died after a white Minneapolis police officer knelt on his neck for more than eight minutes.

The Oregon U.S. Attorney’s Office is reviewing other violent actions from the last three months of protests and is expected to pursue similar civil disorder prosecutions.

What the hell, it’s a start. And if this courageous, valiant PantiFa warrior’s reaction to getting pinched is any indication, maybe it might suffice:

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – A Neenah man had a flamethrower, smoke grenades and fireworks during a demonstration in Green Bay Saturday night, according to police and prosecutors.

Matthew Banta, 23, is charged with obstructing an officer and two counts of felony bail jumping.

The criminal complaint says Banta “is known to be a violent Antifa member who incites violence in otherwise relatively peaceful protests.” Police say he’s known as “Commander Red.”

Green Bay police say they were called for “a whole bunch of white people with sticks, baseball bats and helmets headed… towards the police” on Walnut St. near Webster Ave.

“I don’t know who comes to a protest with a baseball bat for anything other than criminal or illegal activity,” said Green Bay Police Chief Andrew Smith.

A responding officer says he saw four individuals walking towards a protest with baseball bats. One man was wearing a metal helmet with goggles and military-style gear with multiple pouches, and was carrying an Antifa flag. When the officer pulled his squad car in front of the group, they ran away. The officer caught Banta, who was carrying the flag, and says Banta “dropped into the fetal position and began crying.” He accused the officer of lying on him; the officer replied nobody was on him.

Now, none of us should make the mistake of assuming they’re all as soft and gutless as this puling, pussified little baglapper is. Certainly, there are some genuinely hard boys in amongst the scrofulous, contemptible rabble of creampuffs, thumbsuckers, and mama’s boys. But there only has to be a large enough percentage of them who are for the whole sorry facade to be brought crashing down, perhaps even without having to destroy the nation utterly in getting the job done.

Swing ’em

Stretch “Antoinette” Piglosi just made the ultimate case for why all professional politicians of right ought to be strung up from the nearest lamppost without delay.

And that case is Air. Fucking. TIGHT.

San Francisco salon owner Erica Kious disputed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) claim that she was “set up” by the salon this week when she broke COVID-19 restrictions and got her hair done at the salon, saying that Pelosi was the one who called and set up the appointment, and that she has been “coming in for quite a while.”

“She had called the stylist, or her assistant did, and made the appointment, so the appointment was already booked, so there was no way I could’ve set that up,” Kious said. “And I’ve had a camera system in there for five years. I mean, I didn’t go in there and turn cameras on as soon as she walked in to set her up. So that’s absolutely false.”

“So, Pelosi says that salons in San Francisco, and of course she lives there and she’s the most powerful democratic legislator in the world, but she said she understood that the restrictions allowed a one-on-one appointment in salons,” Fox News host Tucker Carlson said. “What do you make on that?”

“I heard that, and I thought to myself, well, as a hairstylist I see clients one-on-one, so, that would mean I would be open, right?” Kious responded.

“Are you open?” Carlson asked.

“No,” she responded.

Her Royal Majesty Piglousy, being who and what she is, has demanded an “apology” from the salon owner for daring to question her obviously justified elevation in status over the lowly peonage, and sent her legions of flying monkeys to avenge the disgrace of actually having to listening to the serf class having the temerity to question her about anything at all she wishes to do. Indeed, Her Most Puissant Highness is most displeased with you benighted swine, she is.

When asked what the shutdown has done to her business, Kious responded: “For the past six months, we’ve, I mean, we are pretty much done. I mean, we’ve lost at least 60% of our clients. I’ve lost the majority of my staff, so, six months is a long time to be closed down.”

“How do you feel about seeing the most powerful woman in America come into your salon in violation of the rules she supports, get caught, and then blame you for it?” Carlson asked.

You damned well better feel damned contrite about it, and hope that Her Liege is in a forgiving mood, lest she decree that your head be separated from your neck forcibly, with extreme prejudice.

“To be honest, it was more hurtful,” Kious responded. “She’s been coming in for quite a while, and just to see her come in and especially not wearing the mask, that’s what really got to me, but this isn’t even political. She’s been coming in there. It’s the fact that she actually came in and didn’t have a mask on, and I just thought about my staff and people not being able to work and make money and provide for their families, and if she is in there comfortably without a mask and feeling safe, then why are we shut down? Why am I not able to have clients come in? So, it’s been hard.”

“If Nancy Pelosi feels comfortable using your salon, why can’t civilians use it?” Carlson asked.

“Exactly and I’ll be honest, in our area in San Francisco, we are obviously the last county or city to not open,” she answered. “We’ve been trying to figure that out. We’ve been asking ourselves these questions for six months—I mean for the past actually four months, of why we are not reopened, and it’s kind of a good question. Again, we don’t know.”

Kious later stated that she does not plan on staying in San Francisco after this whole ordeal because of how the community has treated her in response to the situation with Pelosi.

I do hate to come across all churlish by pointing this out here and all, and I am most definitely on her side and wish her no ill, but…well, this being San Francisco, and knowing as I do the typical political leanings of the many, many salon owners and stylists I’ve known all through the years, well…I DO have to wonder who Ms Kious might have been voting for all these years, y’know?

No matter. I’d bet that after this dustup, however Left she might (or might not, in fairness) have been before, Kious is most likely a good deal less so than she was.

Anybody remember the quaint old days of yesteryear, when Americans used to take great pride in living in what they used to call a “classless society?” Nah, me neither. Hell, those days were long gone at least as far back as 1966 or so, as Gomer knew full well:

As Piglousy and her minions continue to wreak a swift and terrible vengeance on this poor pee-on, inflicting complete ruination on her and her family so as to remind her of the proper place in “American” society of such as she, it will serve as a stark reminder for the rest of us of just how very far the former Republic is from Mayberry nowadays.

Yeah, fuck that noise. Swing her. Swing ’em all. Stretch their motherfucking necks until they are dead, dead, DEAD. Pour encourager les autres, don’tchaknow.

*spit*

It’ 5 o’clock somewhere update! In conversation earlier today, my lifelong partner in musical crime and occasional commenter here Brack quipped that Pelosi doubtless saw the “Salon” sign and misread it as “Saloon,” staggering woozily inside hoping to down a shot or three. An honest mistake, that’s all; coulda happened to any gin-soaked lush, right? Ask HILLARY!™—I’m sure she could back ol’ Stretch up on that.

STREET JUSTICE update! For all its admitted flaws and shortcomings, how can you not just love this country anyway?

You go, girls.

Submissive update! David Marcus searches hard for a silver lining.

Perhaps some good can come of Pelosi’s ignominy. Perhaps seeing her insane hypocrisy, owners will start opening their businesses and daring petty tyrants like Mayor de Blasio and Gov. Cuomo to shut them down. One of the truly remarkable — and chilling — aspects of the more arbitrary lockdown rules is that, in general, they have been consented to, not enforced. We have given away our rights as much they have been taken from us. Well, if Pelosi doesn’t have to live under these absurd restrictions, then neither should you.

The jig is up here. People have a right to feel frustrated and furious, and they also have a right to disobey these crushing laws that Democratic leaders impose but refuse to live by.

If all of this is beginning to feel to you like a sick charade, you aren’t alone. This is a slap in the face, but Democrats and their media allies don’t care. They are counting on you to just take it. But the American people can only take so much before they start demanding their lives and livelihoods back.

Might be time to bring back some old, tried-and-true favorites—like tar and feathers, riding on a rail, and the stocks.

Sorry, ladies

#BlackRapists’Girlfriend’sLivesDon’tMatter.

Know what makes it even worse? The Democrat-Riot-Rapist Party is even now running a candidate for president who has been credibly accused of doing the exact same thing.

They broke it, they bought it

Own it, motherfuckers.

The Left is now very upset that someone showed up with a gun and shot rioters in Kenosha, Wisconsin because they are against…violence and lawlessness and civic unrest? Since when?

I have some big news for every glib apologist and coiffed tankie on the miserably compliant Left: You built this. You refused to condemn and stop it. You asked for this. You don’t get to take the high ground now. You own this. Quite literally: you paid for it. Leftist foundations and politicians have nurtured and grown BLM for many years now. We’re still not sure why more Republican leaders have not pointed out that convicted terrorist Susan Rosenberg is on the Board of Directors for the fundraising arm of BLM, for instance—but they should.

True, we’ve all paid for it. We’ve paid with our tax dollars to put generations of kids through a public school gulag that teaches them to justify exactly this sort of violence based on a toxic combination of identity politics and “America is evil.” We’ve paid the businesses we buy from even as we’ve watched them spend millions teaching and enforcing the same hateful ideology, turning Big Corporate into a giant re-education camp that scares workers into political submission. We’ve paid with our time using social media and the data we’ve given our tech companies as they slyly shape the public square with their speech codes.

But the American people will never forget what you did. What you started. Because we will have to put this evil genie back in the bottle. And it will take time and force—violence—in order to do so.

You have abetted the destruction of our cities so you could win an election. You—you corporate stooges, you glib and sinister Nurse Ratcheds, you elegant child abusers and mob apologists—have become a new party all your own. You are now the BLM-Antifa Party. You are too scared or too complicit to denounce either group.

Yet you now heap fearful denunciations on those who, however ill-advisedly, try to defend the life, liberty, and property that their complicit and incompetent governments will not. We will not mindlessly accept your kneejerk narrative about Kyle Rittenhouse being some kind of crazed Nazi who gunned down innocent protestors in cold blood. Your convenient narrative does not comport with the facts that even the New York Times recently set forth. We will wait for more facts. We will watch all the video. We will not throw him under the bus, and neither should any American who believes in equality under the law.

Of course we don’t want citizens roaming the streets with guns drawn. Of course this tempts fate—and risks more tragic, needless violence. But that’s the point for the BLM-Antifa Party. That’s exactly what they want. That’s exactly what you asked for when you unleashed them.

The “moral” outrage of the twitterati right now is, in truth, shameless cowardice. Do you really think people are supposed to sit back and let “mostly peaceful” militias and mobs destroy their cities because you say so? Kenosha is supposed to welcome out-of-town extremists trained in terror tactics and shelter in place while their city is smashed to bits and burned to the ground?

No.

A good piece through and through by Dr Matthew Peterson, one of the founding editors of the American Mind website, but I have to say this “however ill-advisedly” nonsense is wearing thin. Likewise all the guff popping up about how he’s “just a child,” that his parents should have never let him go to Kenosha, that he had no business whatsoever “traveling across state lines” all of the twelve or fifteen miles it is from his home of Antioch, Illinois to insert himself into a fraught and dangerous situation he was neither intellectually nor emotionally equipped to handle in an adult fashion.

Well, bullshit. In my not-even-slightly-humble opinion, this young man ought to be praised to the heavens by all right-thinking people, from now till doomsday. He bravely stepped up to try to help his neighbors in need; his steady, measured actions when violently attacked by a rabid mob prove that at 17 he’s way more of an adult than one hell of a lot of snot-nosed shitlibs I can think of ever will be.

As for the disingenous shrieking from the demon Left dubbing him “the vigilante assassin,” a white supremacist murderer, a “domestic terrorist” and similar rot, to hell with them. Here’s how this brutal, heartless killer spent his day prior to successfully defending himself against the usual Leftard violence:

Mr. Rittenhouse was arrested early Wednesday in his hometown, Antioch, Ill., which is about 30 minutes southwest of the protests in Kenosha, just over the state line.

Multiple posts on his social media accounts proclaim support for pro-police causes like the Blue Lives Matter movement and Humanize the Badge, a nonprofit that he ran a Facebook fund-raiser for on his 16th birthday.

In most of the footage The Times has reviewed from before the shootings, Mr. Rittenhouse is around this area. He also offers medical assistance to protesters.

About 15 minutes before the first shooting, police officers drive past Mr. Rittenhouse, and the other armed civilians who claim to be protecting the dealership, and offer water out of appreciation.

Mr. Rittenhouse walks up to a police vehicle carrying his rifle and talks with the officers.

He eventually leaves the dealership and is barred by the police from returning. Six minutes later footage shows Mr. Rittenhouse being chased by an unknown group of people into the parking lot of another dealership several blocks away.

Rittenhouse was also photographed earlier that day helping to scrub graffiti off of a wall and other such hateful, murderously racist terrorist activity.

Screw the Proggy assholes, pantywaisted Weepycons, and everybody else wringing their hands and moaning about him. Their armchair-quarterbacking is just background noise, and should be treated as such. Kyle felt the need to go to Kenosha and volunteer his assistance, in any way he could be of help. He very sensibly came prepared to defend his life against the mad dogs unleashed there, as elsewhere, by local Democrat-Socialist-Rioter Party officials. He kept his calm and manfully stood his ground when faced with an unprovoked, homicidal attack, giving a good accounting of himself.

He was outnumbered, but he wasn’t outgunned. Under tremendous pressure, he cooly took out the trash, removing some true filth from the streets of Wisconsin. His parents should be mighty damned proud of their boy, I say. I’d just bet there’s a USMC recruited somewhere in the area who is practically drooling over the prospect of signing up such a stellar example of brave, resourceful, and upstanding American manhood.

Throw Kyle under the bus? NEVER. I say again: he is a bona fide American Hero, and my hat is off to him. Every Real American should support, encourage, and stand behind him without reservation or reluctance.

“Your Last Wake-Up Call, America”

Francis weighs in on Kenosha, American Hero Kyle Rittenhouse, and the general state of affairs using an all-too-lawerly Tweet lamenting “the weaponization of the prosecutorial process” as a dire threat to “the rule of law”—which, it ain’t that the guy is wrong about that, necessarily; it’s just that he’s way, WAY late to the party—as his jumping-off point.

“Threatens” the rule of law? THREATENS?

The rule of law died when prosecutors, mayors, and governors started siding with the rioters and against peaceable citizens going about their lawful business.

If you don’t get it even now – if you think, for whatever reason, that it could never encroach upon you and yours – you’re living in a dream.

The hell with the useless facial diapers, Gentle Reader. They’re about as relevant to your “protection” as a screen door in a submarine.

Meaningless aside: “useless as teats on a boar-hog” was the way my Grandma always put it—more colorful, certainly, and I always liked it. But Fran’s pharse works just as well. Onwards.

Go armed at all times. And – need I say it? – be ready to use your weapons, whatever they may be.

There is no law any longer in Kenosha, Seattle, Portland, and several other places; there is only power. Unless it’s opposed – not merely in word, but in forethought, preparation, and deed – from this moment forward, it will reach every smallest corner of these United States. If we want the law back, We the People must assert it and stand ready to defend it. In all candor, that responsibility has never belonged to anyone else.

Posilutely, absotively correct. Well, except that, at this late stage of the game, it isn’t so much the law we must defend—it’s our lives, our loved ones, our homes, our neighborhoods, our businesses, and our personal property. Once more: none of this has happened accidentally, or by coincidence. It all comes down to one simple thing, and it ain’t pretty. To wit:

Anyone could have seen this coming. The question that should be asked after an armed man shot two rioters on the streets of Kenosha is, what did you expect? Here’s the scenario: mobs of criminals are torching and looting the private businesses of Americans all over the country and local law enforcement won’t stop them. Not only will they not stop them but anyone who is arrested is released immediately to do it all over again the next night (see Portland). Did you expect that this could go on without more violence? How did you think it would end? Where was this going—social change to utopia? Cities are burning. New York City is now a place no retailer will go. How much more of this did you think people would take?

Here’s the bad news. Kyle Rittenhouse, whom we know nothing about, is only the beginning of what is to come. It’s going to get much worse, and people like me who are anti-war and want nothing but peace with my countrymen are about to become severely disappointed.

Any speculation on Rittenhouse’s motives is total stupidity in the fog of war when facts are indecipherable from lies. Don’t attempt it. Let us just look at the general climate in which this tragedy occurred. And I use the word “tragedy” somewhat reluctantly because all involved in this, especially the government officials who let it happen, deserve exactly what they got.

If you go out to protest in an environment where you know there is looting and mayhem, I don’t care what happens to you. Not even a little. Photographic evidence appears to point to self-defense. It’s too soon to tell but it appears from these photographs that at least one of the people who was shot was holding a gun.

A video shows the alleged shooter saying he was there to protect private property. There is no evidence that any press outlet can find to prove that he is a “white supremacist,” as is being alleged all over social media. He could just be a person concerned about escalating violence and no law enforcement stopping it who got fed up waiting for the adults in the room to do their jobs. He was arrested on suspicion of first-degree intentional homicide.

Maybe he will be acquitted in court. Who knows? That’s not important. What is important is that this is only the beginning of a scary and dark time in American history and I’m not the only one who sees it. Mobs are accosting diners and demanding they display the Communist fist. Do you think this is going to end the way the mobs want it to? How many of you would rather be dead than Red? Make a choice now because this is where we are in the timeline of human events. Your time to make a choice is running out. The mob is perfectly willing to do it for you.

This is one hell of a post by Megan Fox, powerful and unflinching, all of which you must read. As to the patently spurious charges against the heroic Rittenhouse, I’m with Ace:

Recidivist Criminal Who Chased Kyle Rittenhouse While Carrying (Illegally) A Pistol: My Only Regret Is Not Having Drawn My (Illegal) Gun Sooner So I Could Have Emptied the Mag Into Him
—Ace

The criminal armed with a gun announces that his intention was in fact to kill Kyle Rittenhouse.

Therefore: Kyle Rittenhouse’s shooting of him was justifiable self-defense, and it’s beyond any disputation.

Are we really going through with this farce of a political show trial?

Do citizens have to surround the courthouse and start lighting it up until they release him?

Is that the only thing our cowardly, terrorist-supporting Democrat politicians understand, now? The force and menace of a “mostly peaceful” mob?

Actually, I don’t think they really do understand at all. These fools have chosen to overinvest in blind faith that they and their semi-sub rosa minions—a pet army of halfwit primordial goons, pampered suburban brats, and sundry Commie useful idiots—possess an unchallengeable monopoly on force and menace. It is now imperative that they be taught otherwise, forcefully and without delay.

Surrounding the courthouse and lighting it up ought to be the very least of their concerns before Real Americans are done with them. They need to be made to fear for their own lives for a change, and to never forget the taste of it. Anything less, and…we lose.

The shot heard round the world

And now, it begins.

Amid violent Black Lives Matter riots and arson in Kenosha, Wisc., on Tuesday night, 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse opened fire at looters in two separate instances, killing two people and injuring a third. Police arrested Rittenhouse on Wednesday after cops apparently congratulated him on Tuesday night. Early reports suggest Rittenhouse shot one man in the head while the victim was looting a car shop, but his second shooting appeared to involve self-defense after looters threw a Molotov cocktail at him.

And tackling, beating, and kicking him brutally, too.

Rittenhouse came from Antioch, Ill., which is only 15 miles away from Kenosha, the Associated Press reported. Authorities arrested him on suspicion of first-degree intentional homicide.

He oughta get some kind of medal, if you ask me.

Shaffer later explained that in the minutes before the shooting, rioters used drones and bats to destroy vehicles, and lit multiple cars on fire. Ironically, one of the rioters operated the shop and he tried to stop his Black Lives Matter allies from destroying his property.

Shaffer also noted that “the alleged shooter was defending the property.”

This context does not excuse what appears to have been a vigilante assassination.

Like hell it doesn’t. With the rioters enjoying the full endorsement and support of Democrat-Socialist officialdom nationwide, and the police kept on a tight leash by those same criminal authorities, ordinary citizens have stepped up to do what they must.

However, the second shooting appears to have involved self-defense. Townhall’s Julio Rosas reported seeing a Black Lives Matter mob chasing Rittenhouse. After Rittenhouse tripped and fell, the rioters shouted, “Get his *ss!” Then the man appears to have shot one of the rioters in self-defense.

The violent riots and arson in Kenosha are terrifying, and it makes sense that citizens would arm themselves to curb the destruction. That does not justify Rittenhouse’s first shooting, however. Police arguably should have arrested the man right after the shootings.

Instead, they reportedly allowed him to go home. That does not suggest inherent racism, as some on the Left have claimed. The cops may have a bias in favor of a vigilante trying to stop the rioting over the rioters themselves. Even so, they should have arrested Rittenhouse after the shootings.

O’Neill blandly says that as if these were ordinary times. But they are no such thing. We are at war, with a violent Left-wing revolutionary enemy actively seeking to overthrow and destroy this nation. We sat idly back as they assaulted, beat, stabbed, shot, and ran over numerous innocent people with impunity, going at least as far back as the shooting of Steve Scalise and others by a deranged Bernie Sanders employee.

Quite simply, the ordinary rules and standards no longer apply.

And honestly, much as I do hate to see it come to this, in my estimation young Rittenhouse is skating mighty close to being a real American hero. He courageously put himself in harm’s way to protect others; he didn’t flinch or hesitate when it came time to living up to his commitment. He buckled down and did what he had to do. And a couple of shitbag Marxist goblins ended up getting themselves killed.

Well, so fucking what? THEY called this tune, in spite of constant serious and sober warnings about where it would lead. So far we’ve resisted the invitation, but now the ball has started in earnest, and we’re all going to have to get off our chairs and onto the dance floor.

As I keep saying, nobody on our side wanted this. But we’re stuck with it anyway, like it or not, and frankly I’m glad to see one of ours shooting back at long, long last. All in all, I’m with Ace:

I think legally he’s guilty, but I don’t think the law is in effect any longer. The government is refusing to enforce it against insurrectionists, effectively making them State Sanctioned Terrorists, and citizens are forced to defend themselves and their own property.

I’ve been saying it for years: If the government will not protect the citizenry, then the citizenry will turn to vigilantism.

And citizens do not have the long hours of training that cops do.

You have to give them some leeway. If the state is effectively making terrorism and arson legal, then I say, shooting rioters without normal legal justification is now legal too.

He has been arrested. I say: Jury nullification. We’ll start giving the state convictions they moment they start enforcing the laws, and not a moment before.

Play Thunderdome games, win Thunderdome prizes.

Update: JEM sends me to Shipwreckedcrew at Red State, who has video before the first shot — antifa/BLM droogs were chasing this guy down. He turned and fired on them.

Self defense. Fuck you, assholes. Play human-hunting games, win Most Dangerous Game prizes.

See the video here, from 3:59:00 to 3:59:45. You can clearly see a group of bipedal wolves chasing this guy down.

Then he decides his life is in danger, turns, and kills an animal.

Precisely so. One of O’Neill’s commenters spells it out nicely:

There is a fundamental human right to protect one’s self, one’s family, and one’s property.
In a free democratic society the people make a pact with the government they create; that individuals will restrain their own right to self-defense where feasible, in return for the government promising to seek justice on their behalf.

When the government turns a blind eye to a citizen’s peril, that citizen can justly retake their original human right to defend themselves. This is the entire argument behind Blacks having an inherent right to protect themselves from violent racists if the government refuses to do so on their behalf…

Annnnd bingo. Governments all across the country have reneged on that societal contract; they reject the Constitution’s call to “ensure domestic tranquility,” refusing to duly enforce the law for purely political reasons. They have informed ordinary citizens, in no uncertain terms, that they are well and truly on their own.

Real Americans’ patience, while very deep and strong, is not without limit. It has been stretched far beyond any reasonable bounds by both the rioters and the government officials who brazenly cheer them on. Those officials had better recognize that they can be brought to heel relatively easily, their transgressions and abuses harshly punished. They are by no means beyond the reach of an angry and aroused citizenry bent on righteous vengeance. Justice a la Rittenhouse can also be visited upon them, and the more they go on as they have been, the sooner they might just wind up facing the music themselves.

Update! Bill has a couple of photos which clearly indicate self-defense.

Where we now are

Noplace good.

Man accused of firing gun near Trump supporters gathering in Fort Mill

“Near.” Oh, I like that, I really really do. Try “AT,” you mealymouthed liberal-propagandist assholes.

A Charlotte man was arrested in Fort Mill Monday after police say he fired several shots from a vehicle near a political gathering.

The incident happened around 6:50 p.m. in the area of I-77 and Sutton Road. Members of the group, a local organization for women, say they were holding signs on the side of the road in support of President Donald Trump.

Women. The worthless pustules were shooting at a bunch of women, ferchrissakes.

The victims said as the vehicle turned from Sutton Rd on to the ramp to northbound I-77, the driver of the vehicle kept yelling, then put his arm out the window while holding what appeared to be a handgun.

They heard several shots being fired as the vehicle proceeded northbound on the interstate.

”All of a sudden you know bang bang bang bang bang bang bang” says Ostrowski.

As the incident was taking place, officials say an SCHP trooper in the area saw the activity and drove onto I-77 in an effort to locate the vehicle. A short time later, the trooper found the vehicle abandoned near Gold Hill Road and Deerfield Drive.

“It was ridiculous. There were kids everywhere,” says Ostrowski. “They drove by really slow and saw everybody, so they knew exactly who was there.”

And children. Jesus H Christ on a crutch.

The trooper then saw a second vehicle leaving the area and noticed one of the people inside had clothing matching that of one of the people in the first vehicle. That vehicle was then stopped by officers nearby.

After further investigation, and with evidence recovered, police say two of the males were released without charges. The driver of the vehicle, identified as 23-year-old Marquise Damarius Asomani of Charlotte, was taken into custody.

So in other words, the scum had prepositioned a getaway car, likely stealing the vehicle they used for the attack itself, indicating the whole assault was not some spontaneous, ill-considered thing but was instead planned well in advance. That would seem to me to call for an attempted murder charge too, which I notice is not among the ones listed for some odd reason. It damned well oughta be, because that’s what it was.

Gotta feel sorry for poor old Marquise Damarius Loqueexion Kwanzaalicious, though. His accomplices ratted his ass out when the heat was on, leaving him holding the bag all by his lonesome. Sucks to be you, Damarius. Maybe try choosing your friends a little more carefully next time, huh?

In sum, then, this is where we are in “America” at present: legally, peaceably expressing support for a sitting President’s reelection campaign is enough to get yourself shot at, maybe even killed, by a marauding pack of slavering, subnormal savages. To make matters worse, the sleazy local media establishment will try their utmost to nudge public opinion along amongst their benighted viewership towards a kinder, gentler, more evolved view of your potentially-fatal victimization by saying you were shot “near” rather than “at,” hearing “several shots being fired” as a harmless “driver” for some unknowable but no doubt innocuous reason “put his arm out the window” while “holding what appeared to be a handgun.”

Allegedly, natch. Gotta include that one, too. Marquesius Damarialicious Shonzelle the VIIIth is a “disadvantaged minority youth,” you can be sure, with a rap sheet stretching southwards from downtown Shit City (my moniker for the hellhole that is CLT) all the way to Columbia. Why, the poor fellow is really just a victim his own self, is what he is. Of America’s “systemic racism,” see, and “white privilege” as well. Can anybody possibly blame him for wanting to burn down a few radical white-supremacist Trump fascists when he sees a chance to?

Infuriating, that’s what.

DNC con-Con, night one

Kruiser hilariously takes the piss out of a hot mess.

Well, the 2020 Democratic National Convention (DNC) kinda/sorta got underway on Monday night and we’re still waiting to hear from the twelve people who aren’t in political media who watched it.

Those who did were in for a real treat if they’ve never had a concussion or done hallucinogenic drugs before and wondered what either is like without having to actually experience them.

A series of individually recorded remote speeches gave it a “Gee, we’re sorry we can’t be there for your 90th birthday, Uncle Joe” vibe. That’s perfectly fine when it’s Uncle Joe’s 90th birthday but it’s not as fun if it’s Uncle Joe’s 90th attempt at becoming president of the United States. And Uncle Joe isn’t even at his own party to watch because he’s in the basement.

One of the more perplexing things was the DNC giving a speaking slot to former Ohio governor and noted mailman’s son John Kasich. Kasich brings slightly less excitement than dryer lint to any gathering he graces but what was most amusing was that during the somnambulant lead-up to the DNC, the Democrats were acting like Kasich was a real big get for them.

The DNC had a few other faux Republicans speaking on Monday. The only thing they had in common is that no Republican under 50 remembers any of them and they’re trying to feel relevant by doing useful idiot turns for the Democrats. They will be winning no hearts, minds, or voters. Other than the “LOOK! Republicans badmouthing Trump!” narrative it’s difficult to figure out what the DNC’s calculus for trotting out these losers was.

The only big surprise is that mewling liberal turncoat Mittens Romneycare (D—Whicheverstatehecangetelectedin) didn’t show up to give a fellatory go-Joe speech too. Could be that’s coming later on in the week, maybe.

Interest-piqueing update! The Demonrat convention is pure shitshow, naturally, but it’s looking like the RNC one will be…interesting.

The St. Louis couple who wielded firearms while Black Lives Matter protesters gathered outside their mansion will make an appearance at the Republican National Convention next week, a report said Monday.

Personal injury attorneys Mark and Patricia McCloskey are expected to express their support for President Trump during the virtual weeklong event, party officials told the Washington Post.

And it gets even better yet.

Covington Catholic high school student Nick Sandmann, who was viciously smeared by the establishment media and has won settlements from the Washington Post and CNN, will speak at the Republican National Convention (RNC), Trump campaign and RNC officials confirmed to Breitbart News exclusively.

In addition to Sandmann, campaign and Convention officials confirmed to Breitbart News what the Washington Post reported previously, that the St. Louis couple Mark and Patricia McCloskey will speak at the RNC next week. In addition, Andrew Pollack—whose daughter Meadow was killed in the Parkland shooting at Stoneham Douglas High School in February 2018—will speak at the Convention, a Trump campaign official confirmed to Breitbart News. Abby Johnson, a former clinic director at Planned Parenthood who is now a leading pro-life activist, will also speak at the Convention, as will South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem and GOP candidate for U.S. House and veteran Sean Parnell.

Sources familiar with the plans told Breitbart News that each of these cases—in particular, those of Sandmann, the McCloskeys, Pollack, and Johnson—illustrate the potentially disastrous consequences of Democrat governance.

As if getting to enjoy Trump slow-roasting Uncle Gropey over a roaring rhetorical fire wasn’t going to be entertaining enough.

Of clown acts and puppet shows

ZMan introduces his latest podcast thusly:

Fishing around for material this week, I stumbled upon some stories that brought a smile, because they featured the unhappiness of bad people. Naturally, I thought a whole show on the suffering of the wicked was a good idea. It is easy to succumb to self-pity and despair, so it is important to look at the bright side of life on occasion in order to avoid those temptations. Given what faces us this fall, there will be plenty of time for weeping and gnashing of teeth.

It’s also important to keep in mind that the people in charge are terribly unhappy with the state of things, which is why they are revolting. These punitive measures they are inflicting upon us are not coming from a supreme sense of self confidence, but from a deep fear that revolution is brewing in the shadows. The reason they are running around looking for bad-thinkers is they lie awake at night imagining one us creeping from the darkness with a My Pillow as they sleep.

There’s also the fact that these people are not gods. They slithered in through the gaps in the doors then flung open the gates to allow their co-conspirators in to take over the institutions, but they are not worthy of their positions. They are riding high only because we let them. Looking at their failings and weaknesses is a good way to remind ourselves that this lunacy stops when we make it stop. Numbers still matter. The night of the million pillows is probably closer than we think.

That’s something to keep in mind as the fall election kicks off in the coming weeks and the usual suspects are trying to peddle a bitter bindy and a dementia patient as the solution to what ails them. This really is the best they got. What comes next for them is the buck-toothed barmaid and the incestuous goatherd. As Tucker pointed out the other day, we really do need to enjoy the show. This is lunacy at a scale and intensity not seen since Caligula was the ruler of the civilized world.

“Bitter bindy, “dementia patient,” “buck-toothed barmaid,” and “incestuous goatherd” (ie, Ilan Omar, just in case that one went by any of y’all) are all pretty heady stuff, right enough. But then Tal Bachman gets downright jiggy with it.

Now, some folks think Kamala isn’t really a “sister”, but all that matters is how Democratic Party decision-makers think about race—and that hasn’t changed since the party’s founding 200 plus years ago. They still go by their old “one-drop” rule. And Kamala, despite having an Indian mother, has a black father (albeit from Jamaica). That’s not only good enough for the DNC Puppeteers, but will be good enough for every Democrat voter, no matter how much they might mutter otherwise for the next week or so. In the end, no Democrat voter is going to stay home on election night just because Kamala’s only half-black (which, of course, makes her just as black as Barack Obama), or a quarter, or an eighth, or because her ancestors weren’t slaves, or even because some of her ancestors were, themselves, slave owners. She’s brown, the end.

And most exciting of all for The Puppeteers was that now, she was, as she had always been, entirely for sale. Sure, she could scheme with the best of them, but like any lady of the night, she’d also do anything her political johns wanted. She would change policies, attack anyone, pretend to be sorry, believe and then instantly unbelieve the very same thing, falsely accuse someone, shake her booty, pretend to choke up, anything.

Hell, she was so soulless, she might even do something like announce her conclusion that Joe Biden committed first degree sexual assault (a crime meriting up to life imprisonment), but then, when it was to her political advantage, retroactively assent to the crime she believes occurred by endorsing him and agreeing to be his vice-president—all of which she’s now done. And she would do all this, and more—she would do anything on God’s green earth—without evincing even the slightest sign of shame. She was a DNC dream.

In short, once The Puppeteers chose Biden, Kamala Harris was a lock. America now has an All-Puppet Ticket right out of a Jim Henson workshop trying to win the White House. One is a short-circuiting near-cadaver—far feebler than Statler and Waldorf ever were—kept alive (in my imagination, anyway) by forced Red Bull consumption and adrenaline injections. The other is a diversity-cult showgirl for hire. Both are utterly hollow, both represent loathsome policy ideas, and—make no mistake—both are utterly loathsome human beings.

After all, it takes a loathsome human being to keep repeating a libel even after it has been repeatedly, publicly, and definitively debunked. Yet this is just what Biden did during his Wednesday press conference with Harris, once again falsely accusing Trump—the most philo-Semitic president in American history, with an unparalleled record of job creation for blacks and Hispanics—of publicly praising the Charlottesville Nazis and Klansmen as “fine people”. This is demonstrably not what Trump said. Biden doesn’t care. Why not? Because he’s a loathsome human being.

Of course, there’s much more.

Believe it or not, as fulsome a bounty of in your face, bare-knuckles, hardcore truth in all its ugliness as all that is, there IS more. There really, really is. And that’s a damned shame.

Reynolds has been saying for a long time now that Americans are cursed with the worst political class in history, and he certainly ain’t wrong about that. But I have to say that at this late date I much prefer Bachman’s no-holds-barred, personally insulting approach to presenting this grim reality. Name ’em and shame ’em, sez I. Assuming that there’s even one political parasite left alive who’s capable of shame.

Oh, what a difference a commie can make

My kneejerk response to the collapse of New York City at the hands of Hizzoner Bill DeBalledZero goes something like, “Too fucking bad, assholes. You elected the bastard, now you can stew in it. Enjoy the socialist hellhole of your votes’ devising, and don’t you even DREAM of moving here.”

On the other hand, some of the most wonderful, memorable times of my life were spent in NYC. Heck, I even married a born-and-raised Manhattan girl and remain close to her mom now that she’s gone, along with several good friends I made over decades of living and playing music there. I still have a certain fondness for the place, even now.

But frankly, I can’t say I care anymore if I ever go back there.

The New York Times reports that national retailers and restaurant chains such as J.C. Penney, Neiman Marcus, Le Pain Quotidien, and Subway are permanently closing locations in New York City in response to Mayor Bill de Blasio’s management of the coronavirus pandemic, which has led to a “mass exodus” of residents and businesses.

Business leaders warn that the city is facing a crisis of “historic proportions,” according to the Times.

Michael Weinstein, the chief executive of Ark Restaurants, which owns the popular Bryant Park Grill & Cafe, told the New York Times he would never open another restaurant in the city. “There’s no reason to do business in New York,” Weinstein said.

With tourists staying clear of the city and surrounding office towers mostly empty, the restaurant has been forced to close its 1,000-seat dining room and move service to the patio. As a result, Weinstein says the restaurant brings in only about $12,000 a day—an 85 percent drop in revenue.

Here’s a real grabber for ya:

The flagship Victoria’s Secret store at Herald Square in Manhattan has been closed for months and has not paid its $937,000 monthly rent in the meantime. “It will be years before retail has even a chance of returning to New York City in its pre-COVID form,” the retailer’s parent company recently told its landlord.

Dear God, how many lacy underthings must they have been selling to be able to meet close to a million bucks a fucking month in rent before this mess started? David Marcus, for his part, explains the rapidly-dissipating appeal of the New York Groove:

Why I Won’t Leave New York City, But Probably Should
Don’t get me wrong, I totally understand why people are leaving and I don’t really blame them. Living in New York City is an expensive transaction, not just in terms of money but in terms of lifestyle. We often pay more money to rent a small apartment than most Americans pay for the mortgage on their house. The city is not easy to get around, and we all navigate the panoply of cultures and tongues, our Lingua Franca a kind of unwritten “rules of the city.”

But then there is the other side of the transaction, the wonderful restaurants, bustling bars and jazz clubs, the Cyclone at Coney Island, the rushing mass of pedestrian frenzy assuring us that yes, this is the center of the world, the current Rome. Today, for now at least, all of that is gone. All of the bad things are still bad, worse actually with the crime wave and all, but the good things are all still locked down, which means we are too, locked in those little apartments.

And it gets worse. Schools are only partially opening, leading parents to look for pods in some vain hope that their kids can be educated. Empty apartments sit unrented, sparsely populated subway cars have an air of fear not felt by most for a very long time. But for all this, for all of these overwhelming reasons to get the hell out and find a picket fence in Jersey, I just can’t do it. New York is stuck with me. For better or worse.

There are some things I know about New York City. I know that as the Great Depression dragged along, Gotham was home to the birth of Method Acting and changed theater and film forever. I know that while World War II ravaged nations, New York stole the title of center of the visual art world from Paris. I know that in the drugged out riotous 1970s and 1980s, the city built Disco and pop art and hip-hop. I know that in the shadow of a skyline with teeth knocked out, white belt Williamsburg hipstered in an Electroclash revolution.

Do not mistake this for a childlike nostalgia for the bad old days. Nobody who was an adult back then wants that. It is rather a matter of being resigned to see this thing of ours through. So no, I will not be on the midnight train to Georgia, or Florida, or the Oranges. I have to stay in the husked out shell of greatness that even Bill de Blasio can’t blunder into oblivion because I have a chance to help bring it back. And I trust my fellow New Yorkers, the ones who stay to be just as committed to that.

Even in the best of times one has to be a little crazy to want to live in New York City. These days, one has to be a stark, raving mad lunatic. But that is kind of the point of New York City. After all, even raving mad lunatics need someplace to live. And in the Big Apple those kinds of people have a really successful track record.

Marcus expects NYC to make a comeback once the DeBalledZero lockdown is lifted and life gets “back to normal,” but he’s missing something: the lockdowns aren’t GOING to be lifted, in NYC or anywhere else, without massive, serious, overwhelming pushback all across the nation. Actually, my money is on the opposite: anybody out there seriously think there’s going to be a Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade this year? Will the Power allow a Thanksgiving holiday gathering of any kind? Will people be social distancing around their T-day feast, chatting gaily through their masks, scrubbing surfaces and utensils down every five minutes with bleach to stave off the Great Plague?

Will there be a huge, beautiful Christmas tree brightening up the Rockefeller Center ice rink in 2020? Those famous midtown store-window displays to attract the gaze of celebratory shoppers who just aren’t around anymore this year? Anybody out there planning on letting their kid sit on Santa’s lap at Macy’s? Will old Kris Kringle be able to hear and understand as the kids recite their wish-list through the mandatory proper face-covering? Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve? Christmas Day services? Carollers strolling the neigborhood, their voices muffled and unclear because of those same masks?

I seriously, seriously hope none of you have made plans to attend the Times Square ball-drop on New Years Eve this year, I really do.

You say that Thanksgiving, Halloween, Christmas, and New Years Eve displays, parades, and festivities all being wiped from the calendar by our esteemed rulers seems a bit of a stretch, do you? Well, they damned sure cancelled Independence Day fireworks all across the nation this summer, now didn’t they? Didja ever imagine you’d see such a thing as that?

Even after a mass rebellion that at the moment looks like a no-show, alas, recreating New York as anything other than the miserable, oppressive, and life-threatening ghetto it’s been “fundamentally transformed” into will be a Herculean task—one which will be vehemently opposed by at least half of the lunatics who live there, just as the Giuliani Renaissance was back in my own New York days. I’ll be rooting for it; New York was a unique and wondrous place, the greatest city on earth, for a long time. But I can’t say I’ll be counting on it.

But maybe there’s a small, fragile seed of hope taking root in Wisconsin:

On Sunday, Wisconsinites protested a new state-wide mask mandate by Gov. Tony Evers at a “We Will Not Comply” freedom rally held in the rural town of Mosinee. It was also a protest against the recent Marathon County online reporting tool for violations of the mask mandate.

Marathon County Health representative Judy Burrows said the online complaint form and tracking process will help officials identify businesses or organizations with multiple reports. “Our primary intention is to educate on the need and benefit to wearing a face covering to prevent the spread of COVID,” Burrows said.

The event was organized by Get Involved Wisconsin, a grassroots organization that was also responsible for an April rally held at the same location to protest Evers’s stay-at-home orders.

The rally this past weekend drew national speakers such as Dr. Simone Gold and local physicians, including cardiac surgeon Fernando Riveron. Both doctors asserted medical experts are being silenced by corporate media and big tech companies about the true risks of coronavirus and weighing those against other medical concerns.

Doesn’t seem like much, I admit. But from tiny acorns, mighty oaks sometimes grow, right?

Update! Did someone say rebellion?

It appears that government-imposed restrictions on travel, business, and social contact don’t become more palatable with age. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to simmer, the one competency that officials have consistently displayed is in tightening the screws, using the licenses and permissions they require as enforcement tools. For people tired of being bossed around, the obvious response is to carry on without the government’s imprimatur—and they’re doing so in droves. It’s an attitude likely to live on long after the crisis has passed.

“Our businesses are doomed,” Chris Polone, co-owner of a Fort Worth bar that was one of more than 800 such establishments to open in defiance of Texas closure orders, said at the end of July. “We have nothing to lose. We can either fight this thing, Or we can starve ourselves out.”

As apocalyptic as that sounds, it’s a reasonable statement when the review site Yelp reports that 55 percent of all businesses shut during the pandemic are believed to have closed their doors forever. For many entrepreneurs, breaking the rules may be the only way to survive.

Bold above mine, and absolutely critical; as in just about every conflict, numbers matter. Any nascent citizen uprising can only come to grief unless it occurs en masse. As long as only a sad handful of Americans are willing to risk getting up to stand on their feet again, they will all continue to live on their knees. Doesn’t have to be universal; doesn’t even have to be a majority of the populace, even. But it absolutely has to be more than a handful, and when you’re trying to face down governments that have far eclipsed their rightful boundaries, the more the merrier.

At least some encouraging news regarding the overdue groundswell of grassroots defiance in this article, though—very little of which will be reported by Old Media media, assuming any at all is. Bottom line:

Officials in Los Angeles have run into so much push-back that now they’re threatening to cut water and power to businesses and homes that don’t comply with lockdown orders. Depriving people of electricity and running water seems an unlikely means for improving public health, but officialdom is always more interested in compelling submission than in achieving reasonable outcomes.

But submission is harder to come by when the stakes are so high. The government is actually ordering people to refrain from earning their keep, and instead to humbly submit to bankruptcy and beggary. To some, submitting to the rules can look foolish and suicidal—like baring your throat to a predator.

And once you’ve battled government officials threatening your ability to make a living during hard times, why would you assume, after the crisis passes, that they’ve suddenly become wiser and better disposed to your wellbeing? People who have questioned officials’ judgment and defied their orders are unlikely to lose that habit after the pandemic passes. Sure, they’ll probably continue to apply for licenses to operate just to make life easy. But they’ll remember that officials tried to strip them of the “privilege” of putting food on the table and they’ll realize just how dangerous it is to rely on such permission.

Viewed from the historical perspective, would-be despots always end up sowing the seeds for the own destruction. They may reign for a while, even a very long while, yes. But sooner or later, their subjects get a belly full of it and take them out, one way or another. We Will Not Comply indeed, you commie motherfuckers.

Parasite

He’s the blibbering, blundering exemplar of absolutely everything wrong with American politics today.

The thing about Joe Biden is, he’s never had a firm grip on reality. Perhaps not in the “mental decline” sense, but in a very real sense nonetheless.

Everyone is the hero of their own story, but Joe is the super-hero who saves the planet on a regular basis. All throughout his career, when talking about himself, he embellished and flat-out lied in ways that made himself look “more” than he was.

Sometimes he lied for sympathy, as in the case of the tragic death of his first wife and daughter, which he has claimed involved a drunk driver. But no alcohol was involved. And sometimes he lied to simply make himself seem involved, like when he claimed to have participated in the Civil Rights Movement when he did not.

What kind of a man does such things? He was much younger, so senility wasn’t yet a factor. The only rational answer is that he is a profoundly insecure man.

Insecure? Nah, I have a much better answer than that: he’s an evil, contemptible reprobrate, dishonest and self-seeking to his very marrow, rotten through and through. I admit, though, that amongst the listed examples of Senile Uncle Gropey’s detestable nature, I had forgotten about this blast from the past:

“I think I probably have a much higher IQ than you do, I suspect,” Joe famously responded to a man asking about his education during his 1987 run for president. “I went to law school on a full academic scholarship, the only one in my class to have a full academic scholarship,” he continued.

“The first year in law school I decided I didn’t want to be in law school and ended up in the bottom two-thirds of my class. And then decided I wanted to stay, went back to law school and, in fact, ended up in the top half of my class,” Biden boasted. He then went on to list a bunch of law school accomplishments which, it turns out, were all untrue.

Everything Joe said in that exchange was untrue. He didn’t have an academic scholarship; he hadn’t won a moot court competition; he wasn’t listed as an outstanding student. Even though his claim of being in the “bottom two-thirds” of his class and finishing in the “top half” makes no sense because there’s enormous overlap between the two, he actually finished 76th in a class of 85 students.

Those lies were exposed by none other than the New York Times in 1987, back when they were a newspaper.

Heh. I see what you did with that nice little double-smack there, Derek.

What’s remarkable about this isn’t how reflexively dishonest ol’ Gropey is, but how stupid he must be to tell these easily-disproven whoppers thinking he won’t get called on it. Then again, though, throughout his over-extended career of grubbing at the public trough and befouling everything within reach he’s done it over and over—in some cases doing real injury to innocent people who found themselves caught with their butts in the blades of the Biden sleaze mchine, as with Gropey’s egregious smear against the “drunk driver”—without ever paying any price for it at all. Well, unless you count having his home-state idiots voting him back into office for interminable decades as some kind of punishment, that is.

Your feel-good video of the week is a real delight, folks.

[Watch] Mask-Shaming Woman Throws Hot Coffee in Face of Unmasked Man Trying to Eat a Burrito, Instantly Regrets It

Yes, by all means, heed the title’s directive and WATCH. I promise you’ll feel a warm frisson of pure pleasure. Although I do have one small nit to pick, which I’ll get to anon.

The backstory:

MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif. – A bloody brawl broke out in Manhattan Beach after a couple confronted two men for not wearing masks, causing an argument that turned violent when the woman threw coffee into the face of one of the men.

The brawl was all caught on video, recorded by James Hernandez’s bodycam, which he says he has to wear as a Trump supporter.

“Because I wear a trump hat I’ve had a lot of confrontations, I guess,” he said.

His camera was rolling on Friday when he says he and his friend, Matthew Roy, were eating burritos outside without masks on, and a couple criticized them.

“Y’all need to be wearing masks,” the woman can be heard saying.

“No we don’t,” Hernandez replies. “We’re locals here but were on the other side of the fence, we don’t believe in this stuff.”

“I hadn’t even gotten to start eating the burrito yet before someone wanted to give me a mask lecture,” Roy said.

Roy says the woman then stuck her middle finger in his face, and tensions escalated further until she threw her coffee in his face.
Roy immediately gets up, and begins punching the woman’s boyfriend in response.

“She decided to slam her coffee into my head and that’s when I decided to get up and beat up her boyfriend,” Roy said.

Which he did, slinging Karen’s stupid-cunt ass around a little as well, just for good measure. Which is where my quibble comes in. The problem: He stopped with the righteous ass-whuppin’ way, WAY too soon.

I am deadly, deadly serious about this right here: There should be many, many repeats of this action, all over the country. BUT…these beatings should NEVER end prematurely. They should, they must continue until the sniveling COVIDIOTS are bleeding profusely on the ground, a bedraggled mess of torn flesh, broken bones, and loosened teeth, completely incapable of struggling to their feet and staggering away under their own power. Otherwise, the salutary purpose of ramming a most useful lesson right down the throats of these meddlesome, self-righteous busybodies will fail to really stick.

And we can’t be having that, now can we? Ah well, enjoy the vid anyway; as they say, the journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step. And while we’re embedding videos here, I dunno, but somehow the star-belly sneeches getting their just comeuppance above reminded me all to hell and gone of the lyrics to this old classic.

It’s time for Kens and Karens everywhere to taste what they most fear, all right. Their recent string of unanswered victories has gotten thoroughly up their noses, as Wodehouse used to say; they’re emboldened now, and won’t ever stop until they get themselves a good bellyful of said fear.
