Nice campaign you got there, Bobby, be a shame if anything happened to it

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: RFK Jr, Elon Musk, and any and every other national figure with the outrageous temerity to cross The Power absolutely MUST keep their heads on a swivel, checking six 24-7-365.

Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. posted the shocking news on his Twitter/X account 23 minutes after midnight on Saturday morning:

I’m very grateful that alert and fast-acting protectors from Gavin de Becker and Associates (GDBA) spotted and detained an armed man who attempted to approach me at my Hispanic Heritage speech at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles tonight. The man, wearing two shoulder holsters with loaded pistols and spare ammunition magazines was carrying a U.S. Marshal badge on a lanyard and beltclip federal ID. He identified himself as a member of my security detail. Armed GDBA team members moved quickly to isolate and detain the man until LAPD arrived to make the arrest. I’m also grateful to LAPD for its rapid response. I’m still entertaining a hope that President Biden will allow me Secret Service protection. I am the first presidential candidate in history to whom the White House has denied a request for protection.

The Epoch Times reported Friday night that the LAPD “received a call at around 4:30 p.m. reporting that a male was in front of the event venue with ‘a badge on their lapel, a gun, and a shoulder holster, and claimed to be a U.S. Marshall [sic].’”Breitbart noted, also on Friday, that “the man arrived at the event and claimed to be employed by the organizers. Campaign security officials, however, did not recognize him, and detained him until police arrived. The man was found to be carrying a handgun and ammunition. He will likely face charges of impersonating a police officer or federal agent, and possibly unlawful possession of firearms.”

That’s about all we know at this point, but it’s enough to send a chill down the spine. Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s father and uncle were both assassinated in two of the most famous and traumatic incidents in the history of the United States. Back in July, RFK Jr. himself announced that “since the assassination of my father in 1968, candidates for president are provided Secret Service protection. But not me.” He added: “Typical turnaround time for pro forma protection requests from presidential candidates is 14-days [sic]. After 88-days [sic] of no response and after several follow-ups by our campaign, the Biden Administration just denied our request. Secretary Mayorkas: ‘I have determined that Secret Service protection for Robert F Kennedy Jr is not warranted at this time.’”

Is a guy claiming to be a U.S. marshal and/or employed by organizers of a Kennedy event and carrying loaded pistols and spare ammunition magazines a serious death threat to the candidate? The possibility cannot be discounted at this point. And in his July tweet about not receiving Secret Service protection, Kennedy said that he had given the agency a “67-page report from the world’s leading protection firm, detailing unique and well-established security and safety risks.”

The guy was as big a threat as the Shadow Men in charge decided they needed him to be. For the moment, they seem to have felt that a shot across RFKJr’s bow would be sufficient. Next time, who knows?

A Labor/Management proxy war a-brewing?

Personally, I’m just rooting for casualties.

There was once a time when I would have been aligned with management for a variety of principled economic reasons, but with the executive suites of US auto companies now full of radical leftists who see their role as being extra-governmental agents whose role is to help install a global eco-communist order, they’ve lost me. My principles do not require me to support any party, company, or principle that will result in a loss of my liberty.

This battle between the United Auto Workers and the Big Three auto executives is effectively a proxy war between those of us who wish for a future with gas-powered cars and those who want a future with electric vehicles only. The autoworkers’ future depends on survival of gasoline vehicles powered by internal combustion engines (“ICE”).

Unfortunately, the UAW’s leadership has done terrible harm to the rank and file by continuing to aid and abet Democrats, who in turn are seeking to destroy the traditional American auto business by legislating it away with EV mandates. And remember, the ultimate goal of “the EV transition” is not to get people out of ICE vehicles, it’s to eliminate mass-market car ownership altogether. There is no future for auto workers in the world the left is trying to take us to.

But finally, there is some awakening among the UAW and its leadership that there is no place for them in the green new future of the American left.

Just a reminder – the “Inflation Reduction Act” that failed America’s union workers was really the Green New Deal, and had nothing to do with inflation.

United Auto Workers (UAW) members feel as though the Democratic Party abandoned them, a former president of the union said ahead of a potential strike.

“I think there’s a segment of the Democratic Party that sees itself as serving corporations rather than the common good.… We’ve had a lot of disappointments,” King said.

To be fair, that faction of the Democratic Party that is “serving corporations“ is actually in service to corporate agents of Klaus Schwab and the anti-humanity tyrants at the World Economic Forum.

As to the specifics of the union’s demands, a 36% pay increase over the next five years is not that outrageous, considering the double-digit inflation that shows no sign of abating, and which has eaten away at so much consumer purchasing power. (I’m talking about actual inflation, not the fabricated inflation rate published by the Department of Labor.) What amounts to 7% yearly wage hikes does not keep up with Biden’s inflation, and since the Big Three auto companies are such cheerleaders for Biden and his radical policies, the least they can do is offer their employees wages to keep up.

Buck Throckmorton goes on to rightly lambaste Ford CEO and all-in Green weenie Jim Farley for his lavish compensation:

Let’s look at Jim Farley, who as CEO of Ford is aggressively destroying the company. He’s also doing what is normal for executives aboard a sinking corporate ship – grabbing as much for himself while he still can.

Ford Motor Co. CEO Jim Farley received nearly $21 million in total compensation in 2022…

The total compensation package that Farley, 60, earned last year included a base salary of $1.7 million, $15.1 million in stock awards, and nearly $2.8 million in bonuses. He received nearly $1.4 million worth of other compensation in the form of perks like the use of private aircraft and company vehicles.

That marked a 93% increase from 2020, when he became CEO.

This, mind, while Farley gleefully pimps useless coal-powered vehicles that are losing over 32k per unit for the company, and the near-zombified car company he’s looting sinks like a rock under the weight of its shitlib execs’ obedient folly. As Throckmorton pithily observes:

A 93% increase over two years for the CEO seems a lot more excessive than the 36% over five years being requested by the rank and file.

Farley has no moral authority to criticize his labor force for seeking wages to keep up with Bidenflation while he is looting the company and re-allocating the company’s equity from shareholders to himself.

If auto manufacturers can’t afford to pay higher wages that keep up with inflation, then they can’t afford obscene executive pay.

In this blue-on-blue battle between organized labor and globalist eco-communists, I favor the side that is currently the least threat to me, which is labor.

Pretty much, yeah. There could well be an additional long-term bonus for siding with the unions in this instance: by expressing support for them, Real Americans stand at least some chance of inspiring Big Labor to rethink a few pertinent things, like for example where exactly welding themselves to the D卐M☭CRAT Party has really gotten them.

Eyrie up!

Monday’s Substack thang, “How to fix it,” is now posted. This one’s an examination of a pretty good compendium of potential cures for what ails us, some of them practical possibilities, others…ehhh, probably not so much. A light dose:

Indeed they do, but the REAL cure is simpler even than that: ditch ALL electronic voting machines and return to paper ballots, hand counted in full, unobstructed view of official representatives from all and every political party with candidates running for office. Contra Simplicius’ first ‘graph above*, if that means We Duh Peepul must wait for the results a little longer than we’ve become accustomed to because hand-counting all those hard-copy ballots takes a little more time, well, so be it then.

The essential point to be made here, I think, is that the count does not stop until all the (legitimate) votes are tallied. No self-evidently shady “pauses” after the polling places have closed because the toilet down the hall has sprung a minor leak, followed by a wee-hours stealth-resumption while no one is looking. You cast your vote on Election Day, on paper, dip your thumb into a jug of indelible purple ink a la Iraq, and then the votes are counted publicly, openly, without the kind of manipulation and mucking about we bore supine witness to in 2020. Period fucking dot, end of fucking story, problem fucking solved.

I’m right, and you know I am. Go read the rest, and be sure to sign up for a sub, even if only a free one, so’s you’ll receive email notification as soon as each new Eyrie post has gone live. A paid sub is not only required to comment, it is also YUUUGELY appreciated.

Unleash the Kracken memes!

I’ve always maintained that the highly-esteemed (and usually estoned and esdrunked, to quote my old friend Pfout’s immortal line) John Wilder’s stuff is extremely tough to excerpt, since to excise anything is to fail to properly do the post justice. This would be an exception to that rule.

In July, the New York Times® ran a story titled, Is the Cure to Male Loneliness Out on the Pickleball Court? It wasn’t particularly political, and I think I can summarize it in just a few words: “If you’re a dude, have a few friends. The best friends are those that share some sort of common interest with you. Friends make you happy.” Writer Michelle Cottle strung those three sentences out into several hundred words of mainly forgettable fluff that would be obvious to anyone with an I.Q. higher than a Phoenix, Arizona winter temperature. In centigrade.

The real joy of this particular story, however, was the unleashing of memes. The picture that accompanied the article, however was, shall we say, regrettable. It’s above, showing a man (I think, it’s 2023, so who can even define a man in 2023) with massive, fat tears containing enough water to keep California going through a megadrought. I think he might be crying because he hates pickleball, or maybe because he can’t afford a shirt with sleeves.

And with that, we’re off and running. John’s captions are as funny as the memes themselves are, really. Sample:

I, for one am always happy when I’m at Chili’s. It is the booze.

That’s John’s caption at the very bottom, of course, and it’s a real sockdolager. Nice work, my friend.

SO: How’s that “Sanctuary Sanctimony City” bushwa working out for ya, asstards?

NOT. TOO. GOOD.

LA mayor ‘fearful’ that planes of illegal aliens might arrive in city that ‘welcomes immigrants’
LA boasts the label of ‘sanctuary city’ for illegal immigrants

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass said she is “fearful that any day” planes filled with illegal immigrants will be flown into the city.

During an event hosted by Axios on Thursday, Bass said, “We live in a city that welcomes immigrants, and so I think we have been able to handle it, but I am fearful that any day, planes could start coming.”

She added that the transportation of immigrants from border states and Florida to “sanctuary” juristictions “is just setting the stage for the presidential election next year.”

Yeah, whereas your open-borders scheme is “just setting the stage” for the next, oh, forty or fifty of ’em.

Don’t look now, folks, but it appears that Staten Island residents are taking matters into their own hands, exactly as Texas Gov Abbott and DeSantis have done. So naturally, NYC shitlibs are weeping bitter, salty tears of OUTRAGEOUSLY OUTRAGED OUTRAGE!!© over the heartless inhumanity of being forced to put their money—and their hotels, personal safety, civic hygiene, and their city itself—where their oh-so-righteous yaps are.

NYC shelter migrants bombarded with 24/7 blaring recording telling them to leave: ‘Legal psychological warfare’
Migrants at a Staten Island shelter are being bombarded by a blaring 24/7 recording urging them to leave, claiming the site is rat- and mold-infested and that they “are being lied to by Mayor Eric Adams.”

The audio recording was being blasted from a professional speaker in five languages — English, Spanish, Ukrainian, Chinese and Urdu — at an ear-splitting level of 117 decibels Monday afternoon from the property of homeowner Scott Herkert next to the controversial former St. John Villa Academy-turned-migrant shelter.

A migrant who arrived outside the shelter with her luggage Sunday, when the warning first started playing, pulled out her phone to record it and then called an Uber and fled, residents said.

More than a dozen asylum seekers were seen leaving the site — the scene of previous large protests attended by hundreds of residents — as the audio blared Sunday and Monday.

Hrm. Wonder where that particular “wretched refuse yearning to breathe free” might’ve found the pocketful of cash it would’ve taken to pay for that Uber from.

As Ed Driscoll helpfully reminds us:

The ghost of Saul Alinsky smiles: “Make opponents live up to their own book of rules. ‘You can kill them with this, for they can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church can live up to Christianity.’”

Heh. Indeed.

Q: Is it really all just about the Benjamins for “transgender” doctors butchers?

A: Yes. Yes, it clearly is.

A woman who claims she was rushed into transgender surgery is suing the doctors who gave her a double mastectomy as a child.

Luka Hein was given the irreversible operation at 16 and says the surgery has left her with daily pain, while the hormone drugs may have robbed her of the chance of becoming a mother.

The Minnesotan, now 21, suffered a traumatizing few years as a teenager when her parents went through a bitter divorce and she was groomed by a man she met on the internet.

She became increasingly withdrawn and spent more time online, where she began following trans influencers and became convinced she was born the wrong gender.

Luka claims she was diagnosed with gender dysphoria by a therapist within an hour during her first session and was referred for ‘top’ surgery after her second appointment.

She told DailyMail.com: ‘I was going through the darkest and most chaotic time in my life, and instead of being given the help I needed, these doctors affirmed that chaos into reality.’

She added: ‘I don’t think kids can ever consent to having essentially full bodily functions taken away at a young age before they even know what that means.

‘I was talked into medical intervention that I could not fully understand the long-term impacts and consequences of.’

Well, what else would you expect? There’s gold in them thar hills. Or, in cases like this, permanently removing them. It ain’t about you, kiddo; it’s about that nice second or third home at the beach. Exhibit B for the prosecution:

Transgender ‘tweaks’ like hair removal and voice feminization should be funded by the taxpayer, influential medical panel says

Because OF COURSE it should be. What are you, some kind of Neanderthal Ultra MEGA MAGA Über-fascist or something?

An editorial by doctors from the Canadian Medical Association (CMA) suggests treatments like hair removal and facial injectables should be paid for by the country’s Medicare, a publicly funded healthcare system.

‘Minimally invasive procedures such as facial injectables and hair removal warrant consideration for public health care funding across Canadian jurisdictions,’ wrote Dr Katie Ross and Dr Sarah Fraser, Faculty of Medicine, Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia.

‘Public funding for such procedures, which are currently funded in only two jurisdictions in Canada, warrants serious consideration in all provinces and territories,’ the authors concluded.

Canada’s Medicare is funded and administered primarily by each of the country’s provinces and the programs receive assistance from the federal government.

It’s as Ace says:

If just a few judges refuse to dismiss these cases — doctors will claim the patient signed informed consent releases, but judges routinely invalidate those; they’ll be much less willing to threaten Big Amputation — then a few juries will issue some jackpot awards with huge punitive damages sums and then the tide of insanity will finally begin to recede.

Indeed so. So it has been written, so let it be done—assuming there are any judges left in Red Canada* sane enough to bring this insanity to a screeching halt by locking down the cookie jar for greedhead doctors and surgeons post haste.

*Ace’s term, which I will be duly swiping henceforth, whenever there’s a story from Trudeau’s Playground I actually care enough about to bother posting on

It Really is That Damn Good, Part 2

Final arguments in the Texas based Bush cabal impeachment of Ken Paxton.

“He beat the latest in line for the bush’s”
“The Bush era in Texas ends today”
“They can go back to Maine”

Update!: The communist Bush clan has failed,as Ken Paxton Acquitted on all 16 articles of impeachment.

Let the retribution begin.

Update 2: The Texas impeachment mangers held back 4 charges that they “thought” they could hold over Paxton’s head:
“Four original articles were held in abeyance, with the Senate dismissing them in a vote conducted after the acquittal.”
The senate nuked those. As I said above, “Let the retribution begin“.
Senate Nukes the remaining 4 charges

Update 3:
Apparently, having failed to stop Paxton at the state level, the feds will now attempt to stop him –
The Corrupt Feds Will Indict a Ham Sandwich, Again

Eyrie up!

Friday’s Eyrie offering has now been published: “Empire Of Lies,” all about exactly what you’d expect it to be. The closer comes after a Dan Bongino quote claiming that 2A people should be “terrified” by a Biden lie the raddled old pedo-fraud has repeatedly trotted out over quite a few years:

“Terrify”? The hell with that; it should enrage them, inspire them, and motivate them not to yield another inch to the greedy Leviathan government or its State vassals. Because when the tyrant Biden falls, there will be shitlibs aplenty lined up to take his place—and make no mistake, they’re no more honest or honorable than Faux Jaux Bribem has ever been.

Read it all, gang.

What an FBI/Stasi fishing expedition looks like

Sacre bleu.

This is utterly disgusting, offensive, and infuriating, that such a thing could even be taking place in what was once thought to be a (somewhat) free country. But, alas, not very shocking at all anymore. Who even knows how many of these little “friendly visits” are happening every single day, all across Amerika v2.0?

Nissan Leaf auto-torches

Hilarity ensues.

Electric vehicle fire in Franklin requires thousands of gallons of water
FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) — An electrical vehicle fire at Nissan Headquarters Tuesday afternoon required several more hours and 45 times more gallons of water to put out than a conventional vehicle fire.

It’s a challenge the Franklin Fire Department warns “all fire departments are struggling with” because lithium-ion battery fires often cannot be extinguished until the battery cell has released its energy.

Firefighters were dispatched around 4:42 p.m. after the car caught fire in the parking lot of 1 Nissan Way. According to Franklin Fire Marshal Andy King, the vehicle, a Nissan Leaf, had been charging on a Level 3 charger, which is the fastest charging device.

That’s when its lithium-ion battery cell reportedly overheated, went into a thermal run(a)way condition and caught fire. He said firefighters applied water to cool the battery cell for several hours before the fire was extinguished.

As they will do, y’know. The story goes on to relate that your typical ICE vehicle fire will take from 500 to 1,000 gallons of water to extinguish, but this deadly-dangerous but politically-correct Leaf required in excess of 45,000 gallons, administered by a massive call-up of every emergency-response unit for miles around—including, and I quote, “an engine, tower, battalion chief, rescue, hazmat, and an air response vehicle”—before all was said and done. Fire Marshall King offered a few cautionary words if you’re fool enough to actually own one of these extremely hazardous urban shitlib play-purties:

“If you think you’re having a problem with your electric vehicle, don’t continue to charge it,” King said. “Move it outside to a safe place away from buildings and other vehicles. If it’s heating up or off-gassing – call the fire department immediately and if safe, try to move it to a safe area.”

Or, alternatively, just sell the piece of shit to the first sucker you can find, for whatever he’s willing to give you for it, and be done with it.

“The writing is on the wall”

What more is there to say, really? Because it IS.

We used to have a proper country but now McDonald’s is removing self-service soda machines and the writing is on the wall 😭
Welcome to the future of fast food.

You have to order at kiosks because the restaurants can’t afford cashiers. But they also can’t trust you to fill up your own Coke or Mickey D’s Sweet Tea, so you’ll have to get your beverage from the pimply teen at the counter who couldn’t take your order.

At least, within the next few years, that’s going to be the case at every McDonald’s restaurant in the US.

The official story from Mickey D’s is that this is to keep a uniform service to all customers so that everyone gets what they order.

But the real reason is that, in some locations, they have to deal with common criminals coming into the stores and using the soda fountain without paying.

It will also certainly cut down on the number of refills people get as well.

But that’s life in the modern world. You have to place your own order because they can’t afford cashiers, and you can’t fill up your own drink because there are too many thieves around.

Ain’t life in Amerika v2.0 grand?

Memezapoppin’!

Welcome to this week’s installment of our Wednesday meme feature, folks. Links to the “found via” sources will be attached to the specific MiQ’s (Memes in Question) whenever I can remember them, which likely won’t be too often. Only the first two memes will appear above the fold to save on bandwidth usage, since I assume not everybody who shows up at this here websty will want to see all of them. This intro will appear at the top of each week’s Memezapoppin’! post. Enjoy, funny pitcher-lovers.

“No evidence” of Bribem Crime Family corruption

Of course the D卐M☭CRATs are screaming their throats raw and bloody about the rotting rutabaga’s impeachment; as we all know, they will always and forever remain in pluperfect compliance with both Mike’s Iron Law #4296-54e, addendum 67, and Mike’s Iron Law #462. But don’t think for a minute that they’re the only ones squealing like stuck pigs.

GOP Rep. Ken Buck Slams Marjorie Taylor Greene’s “Absurd” Impeachment Remarks – Says There’s No Evidence Linking Joe Biden to a “High Crime or Misdemeanor”
In an interview with former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on MSNBC, Congressman Ken Buck (R-CO) expressed strong disagreement with fellow Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) over her “absurd” calls for impeaching President Joe Biden. Buck argued that there is currently no evidence linking Biden to a “high crime or misdemeanor.”

On Saturday, Marjorie Taylor Greene said that “our country deserves for Congress to vote for an impeachment inquiry for very important reasons, not a rush impeachment vote.”

When asked by White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki about his position on launching an impeachment inquiry into President Biden, Rep. Buck said Greene’s remark is “absurd.”

“Marjorie filed impeachment articles on President Biden before he was sworn into office more than two and a half years ago. So the idea that she is now the expert on impeachment or that she is someone who should set the timing on impeachment is absurd,” said Ken Buck.

Buck, a member of the conservative House Freedom Caucus, claimed that there is currently no evidence linking Biden to a “high crime or misdemeanor” and thus, no grounds for impeachment.

“The time for impeachment is the time when there’s evidence linking President Biden -if there’s evidence linking President Biden- to a high crime or misdemeanor, that doesn’t exist right now, and it isn’t really something that we can say, well, in February, we’re going to do this. It’s based on the facts. You go where the facts take you,” Buck added.

Bold Hoft’s, I assume. MTG fired back at the Vichy GOPe loyalist, good and hard.

In an X post, Greene responded to Buck’s allegations, saying, “When is Ken Buck going to announce he’s a Democrat? The amount of shilling for Joe Biden is astounding. Almost like he’s hoping Joe is going to appoint him for something.”

“This is the same guy that wrote a book called ‘Drain the Swamp’, who is now arguing against an impeachment inquiry,” Greene told CNN. “I really don’t see how we can have a member on Judiciary that is flat out refusing to impeach…It seems like, can he even be trusted to do his job at this point?”

Oh, he’s doing his job all right, Marge. It’s just that his job is in no way, shape, or form the one you think it ought to be. As for the shitstorm of “no evidence” bushwa, I’ll just let the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability handle that one.

There is mounting evidence that Joe Biden was involved in his family’s influence peddling schemes, including while he served as Vice President. However, Democrats and their corporate media allies continue to ignore this overwhelming evidence as they seek to distract the American people from the Biden family’s corruption. Below are over 20 examples of Joe Biden’s involvement.

1) In July 2023, former Biden business associate Devon Archer described how Joe Biden was “The Brand” and was used to send “signals” of power, access, and influence to enrich the Biden family from foreign sources.

2) Devon Archer alone was aware of at least 20 times in which then-Vice President Biden spoke on speakerphone with Hunter Biden’s foreign business associates. Democrats would have Americans believe that these phone calls with then-Vice President Biden were simply to discuss the weather.

3) In February 2014, then-Vice President Joe Biden dined with oligarchs from Russia and Kazakhstan who funneled millions of dollars to Hunter Biden and his business associates.

4) In April 2015, then-Vice President Biden dined with Hunter Biden’s foreign business associates, including Ukrainian Burisma executive Vadym Pozharsky. Burisma was then being investigated by Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin for corruption.

5) Then-Vice President Biden had coffee with Hunter Biden’s Chinese business associate, Jonathan Li of BHR, in Beijing and wrote a college letter of recommendation for his daughter.

6) In 2015, then-Vice President Biden hosted Hunter Biden and Devon Archer and other business associates at the official residence of the Vice President. The topic of discussion was filling the top seat at the United Nations. The Kazakhstani government official who wanted the U.N. position attended both dinners at Café Milano with then-Vice President Biden.

7) Using the pseudonym “Robert L. Peters,” Vice President Biden was informed by his staff of a call in 2016 with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. Copied on that official email? Hunter Biden, who was sitting on the board of the Ukrainian company Burisma.

8) On December 4, 2015, Biden business associate Eric Schwerin wrote to Kate Bedingfield in the Office of the Vice President providing quotes to use in response to media outreach regarding Hunter Biden’s role in Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company. Later that day, Ms. Bedingfield responded to Mr. Schwerin saying, “VP signed off on this[.]” According to Devon Archer, after a Burisma board of directors meeting in Dubai on the evening of December 4, 2015, Hunter Biden “called D.C.” to discuss pressure that Burisma asked him to relieve.

9) In May 2017, James Gilliar, a Biden family associate, emailed Hunter Biden and other associates to formalize how they would divide the profit from their deal with CEFC, a Chinese Communist Party linked energy company. Gilliar indicated Joe Biden would receive 10 percent, which has been confirmed by former Biden family associate, Tony Bobulinski.

10) On May 20, 2017, James Gilliar told Tony Bobulinksi, another business associate, “Don’t mention Joe being involved, it’s only when u are face to face[.] I know u know that but they are paranoid[.]”

When you’re as thoroughly and wholly corrupt as Jaux Buyhim has been known to be for so many decades, having someone claim you AREN’T corrupt amounts to a direct, personal insult. It’s like you did all that grifting for nothing—slaving tirelessly away at becoming the very best in your chosen field, only to have people deny you credit for all your diligent effort.

An aerial view of Lyin’ Jaux’s Delaware “house”:

BidenFormerMansion

That’s his former home estate, he’s since moved on to more “modest” digs. This is one of his numerous current domiciles, all purchased “honestly” on a Senator’s 174k yearly salary:

BribemMansion

If I’m not mistaken, and I could be, this is the house where he “securely” kept all those purloined classified documents he had no business whatsoever to be handling. Being a career politician is nice work if you can get it, no?

“No evidence”—shyeeaaah, right. Who you gonna believe, Mr and Mrs America, all those scuttling, scurrying Swamp critters or your own lyin’ eyes?

Update! Need I remind you of what the second item from Article II, Section 4 is? Not that Faux Jaux isn’t patently guilty of all of them, of course. But that second one surely ought to be plenty enough all by itself to put his balls in a vise.

“IMAX-level projection”

That’s what Diogenes Sarcastica calls it, and she ain’t wrong about that.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) ripped Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s (R-Calif.) announcement that the House will pursue an impeachment inquiry into President Biden, describing the probe as “a kangaroo court, fishing expedition and conspiracy theater rolled into one.”

The comment — which came during a press conference alongside House Minority Whip Katherine Clark (D-Mass.) and House Democratic Caucus Chairman Pete Aguilar (D-Calif.) — came hours after McCarthy, in a public statement, directed House committees to open a formal impeachment inquiry into Biden.

“There is not a shred of evidence that President Joe Biden has engaged in wrongdoing; there is not a shred of evidence that President Joe Biden has committed a crime,” Jeffries said Tuesday.

“This is an illegitimate impeachment inquiry. Period, full stop,” he continued. “It’s a waste of time and taxpayer dollars.”

Uhhhh HUH. Dan Bongino puts paid to that arrant nonsense.

BonginoImpeachment

Indeed. Jeffries’ completely risible statement is of a piece with Obama’s old “not one smidgen of corruption” laugh-line, simple horseshit of the purest ray serene.

McCarthy’s impeachment blah-de-blah will go nowhere, natch—just more Uniparty Resistance kabuki, that’s all. Personally, I’m much more in favor of Will Rogers’s suggestion:

This country has come to feel the same when Congress is in session as when the baby gets hold of a hammer.

There ought to be one day – just one – when there is open season on senators.

I’d buy that for a dollar. I would by no means restrict it to just senators, though. The “one day” thing is fine…as long as it’s one day per year.

Should you find yourself sanctioned after running afoul of the CF comments policy as stated and feel you have been wronged, please download and complete the Butthurt Report form below in quadruplicate; retain one copy for your personal records and send the others to the email address posted in the right sidebar.

Please refrain from whining, sniveling, and/or bursting into tears and waving your chubby fists around in frustrated rage, lest you suffer an aneurysm or stroke unnecessarily. Your completed form will be reviewed and your complaint addressed whenever management feels like getting around to it. Thank you.

FREEDOM!!!

"There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters."
—Daniel Webster

“When I was young I was depressed all the time. But suicide no longer seemed a possibility in my life. At my age there was very little left to kill.”
—Charles Bukowski

“A slave is one who waits for someone to come and free him.”

“The illusion of freedom will continue as long as it’s profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will just take down the scenery, they will pull back the curtains, they will move the tables and chairs out of the way and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theater.”
—Frank Zappa

“The right of a nation to kill a tyrant in case of necessity can no more be doubted than to hang a robber, or kill a flea.”

"It is terrible to contemplate how few politicians are hanged."
—GK Chesterton

"I predict that the Bush administration will be seen by freedom-wishing Americans a generation or two hence as the hinge on the cell door locking up our freedom. When my children are my age, they will not be free in any recognizably traditional American meaning of the word. I’d tell them to emigrate, but there’s nowhere left to go. I am left with nauseating near-conviction that I am a member of the last generation in the history of the world that is minimally truly free."
—Donald Sensing

"The only way to live free is to live unobserved."
—Etienne de la Boiete

"History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid."
—Dwight D. Eisenhower

"To put it simply, the Left is the stupid and the insane, led by the evil. You can’t persuade the stupid or the insane and you had damn well better fight the evil."
—Skeptic

"There is no better way to stamp your power on people than through the dead hand of bureaucracy. You cannot reason with paperwork."
—David Black, from Turn Left For Gibraltar

"If the laws of God and men, are therefore of no effect, when the magistracy is left at liberty to break them; and if the lusts of those who are too strong for the tribunals of justice, cannot be otherwise restrained than by sedition, tumults and war, those seditions, tumults and wars, are justified by the laws of God and man."
—John Adams

"The limits of tyranny are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress."
—Frederick Douglass

"Give me the media and I will make of any nation a herd of swine."
—Joseph Goebbels

“I hope we once again have reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. There’s a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: As government expands, liberty contracts.”
—Ronald Reagan

"Ain't no misunderstanding this war. They want to rule us and aim to do it. We aim not to allow it. All there is to it."
—NC Reed, from Parno's Peril

"I just want a government that fits in the box it originally came in."
—Bill Whittle
