Despots gonna despot

SO. Remember when I told you people that the FauxVid bushwa was NEVER going away?

We Must Start Planning For a Permanent Pandemic
With coronavirus mutations pitted against vaccinations in a global arms race, we may never go back to normal.

As I’ve said all along, Mo’ Bettah Tyranny was the plan right from jump. OBJECT LESSON: you never, never, NEVER allow the State to take your freedom away. No matter what, you don’t. Because once you do there’s only one way to get it back again, and it’s an extremely arduous, painful, costly, and brutal process, with no guarantee whatsoever that the effort will end happily—for anybody.

For the past year, an assumption — sometimes explicit, often tacit — has informed almost all our thinking about the pandemic: At some point, it will be over, and then we’ll go “back to normal.”

This premise is almost certainly wrong. SARS-CoV-2, protean and elusive as it is, may become our permanent enemy, like the flu but worse. And even if it peters out eventually, our lives and routines will by then have changed irreversibly. Going “back” won’t be an option; the only way is forward. But to what exactly?

Simple: this, only more of it. Again: it ends only when WE end it, and not before. Ask a hard one next time, whydon’tcha. More harsh reality from Jolly Olde:

Mary Ramsay, the head of immunisation at Public Health England, said the measures would remain in place while other countries complete their vaccination programs, a process likely to take years.

People have got used to those lower-level restrictions now, and people can live with them, and the economy can still go on with those less severe restrictions in place,” said Ramsay.

“So I think certainly for a few years, at least until other parts of the world are as well vaccinated as we are, and the numbers have come down everywhere, that is when we may be able to go very gradually back to a more normal situation,” she added.

The doctor said that so long as people continue to be infected, the rules won’t be abolished.

Ramsay’s comments once again highlight the fact that the plan never was to get “back to normal.”

Now that Brits have allowed society to be permanently deformed, with polls routinely showing vehement support for lockdown and other pandemic rules, things are never going to be the same again.

Emphasis mine, so’s nobody misses the important parts. So with this, all the questions have been asked and answered, leaving just the eternal one: What, if anything, are we gonna do about it? Don’t forget, students, that failure to provide an answer IS ITSELF an answer. Ain’t no dodging this one, I’m afraid.

And the Founders weep, such is the shameful dishonor their posterity hath shewn.

Superspreader update! Another curtain lifting.

Another Fauci prediction blows up: Since lifting lockdown, Covid cases in Texas have DROPPED 36%
At the time the executive order was issued, March 2, new COVID-19 cases in the state stood at 7,240 cases, with a seven-day average of 7,259 cases. That number dropped to 5,350 cases by March 10 when the executive order came into effect and the economy fully opened.

Two weeks later on March 24, the number of daily new cases stands at 3,827, with a seven-day average of 3,401 cases.

Abbott’s mask mandate rollback had attracted criticism from high-profile figures, including California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Dr. Anthony Fauci, a top adviser to President Joe Biden.

“We understand people’s need to get back to normal, and we’re going in that direction. But when you start doing things like completely putting aside all public health measures as if you’re turning a light switch off, that’s quite risky,” Fauci said during an appearance on CNN earlier this month. “We don’t want to see another surge, and that’s inviting one when you do that.”

Yep, except when it isn’t. I’m in serious danger of sounding like a broken record tonight, I know, but still: if it was really all they claimed, they wouldn’t have had to lie about it continuously.

We have long said that the lockdowns have been for political theater only. The science behind them is flawed tremendously, and this further demonstrates that locking down everything does not truly mitigate the spread. While some will use this as evidence that lockdowns and face masks promote the spread of Covid-19, that’s simply not true. They don’t help very much and the damage they do to the economy as well as the psyches of the people is tremendous.

There’s more, of which you should read the all. Not that any of it matters, of course; as every dictator knows, panic trumps truth every single time. There’s no point trying to argue facts with Leftards anyhow; it wastes your time and annoys the pig, so to speak, since they long ago developed herd immunity to ’em.

Another easy one update! Rick Moran asks it.

Why does it surprise anyone that, when using their own judgment, people can take care of themselves and their families? What is it about freedom of choice that these people hate so much?

Absolutely everything, of course, beginning with the very idea of it and going on from there. Next question?

Days of future past

Nightmares really DO come true.
Nearly a year ago, after COVID hit us hard, I spent my endless at-home time online, looking at whatever I could find on pandemics. I found one treatise on possible methods of dealing with a pandemic. One method was presented as a cautionary tale about how not to treat a pandemic — and naturally, it was a template for 2020’s treatment protocols minus (if I remember correctly) developing a vaccine. Although I believe that the article was 10 or 15 years old, I thought at the time that it had been looked at, and someone (Fauci, I’m guessing) said, “Oooh!  Let’s try all that!  What could go wrong?” Sadly, I didn’t save a copy, and I can’t find it now. I’m not making the same mistake again. Now that I have a platform to write about this pandemic, I am sharing what I read. A friend sent me a link to a 2010 document that the Rockefeller Foundation produced, called “Scenarios for the Future of Technology and International Development.” Take the time to look it over, please. It is based on a workshop on identifying “critical uncertainties” and exploring their potential effects on technology and international development. It specifically examines how mankind would adapt to unanticipated shocks over the next 15–20 years. The authors identify four possible reactions to an event. Two are most relevant: one is called “lockstep,” defined as “a world of tighter top-down government control and more authoritarian leadership, with limited innovation and growing citizen pushback.” Another is “hack attack,” an “economically unstable and shock-prone world in which governments weaken, criminals thrive, and dangerous innovations emerge.” There are two more on page 16. For my purpose here, they are less relevant. Flip, if you would, please, to page 18. The lockstep scenario posits a pandemic. It is virulent and, in the model, kills mostly healthy adults, 8 million people globally in seven months. It describes society coming to a screeching halt, with industries like tourism, travel, local businesses, and offices all closed. In this scenario, the one country that fares best is China, which uses a seemingly admirable totalitarian approach, sealing its country, quarantining all citizens, and swiftly ending its pandemic. It then describes a world with national leaders imposing draconian rules and restrictions, from face masks to temperature checks. “Even after the pandemic faded, this more authoritarian control and oversight of citizens and their activities stuck and even intensified[.]…[L]eaders around the world took a firmer grip on power.”
Anybody who finds that at all surprising is either deep in denial or just an out and out knucklehead. It’s not a difficult or outlandish prediction to make, seeing as it how it’s perfectly in line with what we know about those “leaders” and their unslakable thirst for more power and control.
The scenario posits that at first, people willingly give up privacy and sovereignty to more paternalistic states, in exchange for greater safety. Independence of thought is stifled. In the narrative, it takes 13 years for citizens to weary of this control, which enables rampant cronyism and corruption.
It also provides space for tyranny’s consolidation, entrechment, and expansion, with the added bonus for the Power of a concomitant spread of intimidation and uncertain among an already-cowed populace, for whom the challenge of rising from their knees to do battle with their despotic masters will eventually become insuperable. From the start of the contrived Covid panic I maintained that no matter how threatening THEVIRUSTHEVIRUSTHEVIRUS!!!™ might or might not actually turn out to be, the disaster guaranteed to ensue should Americans docilely yield up their liberty and rights in response would be orders of magnitude worse. As Bill Barr said, there is no pandemic exception to the US Constitution. The past year’s wretched stream of encroachments and abuse provide a yardstick to gauge the depths of irrelevance into which that once-revered document has plummeted, tragic as that is. I repeat once more: if this way-oversold virus was really the extinction-level menace they told us it was, they wouldn’t have needed to repeatedly lie about the damned thing. There’s no way to conceal a disaster of such enormity; there would be no need to prompt or persuade. We’d all be surrounded by the reality of it, which would be inescapable and undeniable. The hospitals wouldn’t have been dangerously overtaxed; they’d have been wrecked, thenm abandoned—those that weren’t actually on fire, that is. I probably WOULD have had to don the humiliating Mask Of Submission—not so much to “do my part to fight this virus and BE SAAAAFE,” but to at least partially fend off the gruesome odor of decaying corpses stacked head-high in the street. We’d all be up to our eyeballs in 53-foot reefer trailers warehousing the overage of deaders; very few of us would have the slightest desire to socialize, closely congregate, or even risk venturing outside their own homes. HIDE such an event? It would be impossible to avoid it. But that’s exactly what they did do: they lied a year ago, they lied all summer long, and they’re still lying today. Full stop, end of story. It’s one reason why the only way they’ll ever get a single drop of their shady “vaccine” in me is to rassle my ass into stout full-body restraints beforehand. FREE ADVICE: better bring help. Admittedly I’m not as young and strong as once I was, but I’m still a reasonably feisty old sumbitch just the same. If it’s a fight you think you want, I promise I’ll do my utmost to give you one. MORE FREE ADVICE: it will NOT be fair. I don’t care how frightened you are, I don’t care how grave the goobermint tells us our situation is, I don’t care what scary numbers the CDC, Praetorian Media, ProPols, or anybody else gin up in order to stampede the herd: you must never, ever, EVER give up essential liberty to purchase temporary security. NEVER. Those who do…well, you know the rest of it. The dismaying spectacle of multitudinous “Americans” quietly allowing themselves to be frightened into lily-livered compliance with blatantly authoritarian edicts, all bereft of Constitutional authority, all based on fraudulent premises, pseudoscience, and naked propaganda, says one hell of a lot about their character, not a bit of it complimentary. Liberty is but a memory, the economy wrecked, uncountable millions of lives ruined—all of that and more a direct product of the shameful refusal to resist—to stand athwart tyranny and yell STOP! Is it too late for Americans to reclaim their rights, restore their dignity, and renew their sacred birthright? Only time will tell…and there’s precious little of it.

Enemies on all sides

This one has been sitting in an open tab waiting for me to get around to posting on it for long enough that I’ve completely forgotten where I originally ran across it, so there’ll be no “Via…” link acknowledging credit, unfortunately. No matter, though; the really important thing is that this story gets read, by as many people as can be reached. Yes, it IS that important, and for more reasons than just one.

U.S.A. –-(AmmoLand.com)- In Garland, Texas, on 3 May 2015, Gregory Stevens, a veteran police officer with the Garland Police Department, was working off duty as armed security for the “Draw the Prophet” cartoon contest event.

Pamela Geller organized the Draw the Prophet event as a response to Islamic demands that Western Civilization submits to Islamic censorship.

The infamous attack on the Charlie Hebdo offices in Paris had occurred just five months earlier, by two Islamists with AK-47 type rifles and Tokarev pistols.

Many will remember the Draw Mohammed event, in the Dallas suburb of Garland, which was attacked by two Isis recruits.

Few know the details of how one prepared gunfighter police officer faced two Islamic riflemen armed with semi-automatic rifles, handguns, plenty of ammunition, soft body armor, and the element of surprise. He fought them at close range and prevailed.

What you might also remember is how Gellar was roundly, viciously condemned as a “right-wing extremist” who was actually to blame for the attack. The usual shitlib suspects—joined by a depressing number of weak-tea “conservative” commentators bleating along in a pattern that has become all too familiar nowadays—accused Geller of acting as a provocateur, motivated not by any desire to proactively defend freedom of speech against jihadi violence but solely by “racist” anti-Moslem bigotry.

Officer Stevens was working extra hours as armed, uniformed security for the event. He would turn 60 in a few days. He had a long experience as a traffic officer. He was a gun guy, who preferred a 1911 .45 Auto.

As a concession to modern pistol design, he had been issued a Glock model 21, chambered in .45 Auto. He was carrying his Glock in his standard duty rig, with a 13 round magazine, a round chambered, and two spare magazines, for a total of 40 rounds of Speer Gold Dot 230 grain hollowpoints.

At the scene with Greg Stevens is Bruce Joiner, an unarmed security guard from Garland Independent School District (ISD). They are in charge of the back entrance to the event, the West entrance coming off of Naaman Forest Blvd, the entrance the VIPs, caterers, and security teams use.

To those scouting for an attack, it appears to be a weak point. There are only two guards. Only one of them is armed. The armed guard (Officer Stevens) only has one pistol and is older than average.

There had been numerous death threats issued about the event. A competent security plan had been created. Greg says he was put at the back entrance because it was viewed as the “easy job”. He joked the idea was to “give the old guy the easy job”. He had a list of the people authorized to use the entrance, and codes they were required to know in order to use it. It was a shortlist.

Pam Geller and Gert Wilder had been passed through. A snafu with a caterer had been cleared up. Gert Wilder and his security team had left.

Just before 7 p.m. in the evening, Greg went to the restroom. A pair of roving armed security took his place. He took his duty car. He returned to his post. The roving team left.

About five minutes after he returned, a small black car pulls up, and stops, abruptly, facing away from the entrance.

Greg’s hair starts standing up on the back of his neck. His “police sense” starts going off. Something is not “right”. The car has out-of-state plates, from Arizona. Immediately, both doors to the car open at the same time.

Gripping stuff so far, no? Ahh, just you wait; trust me, the story is only beginning to get good. Suffice it to say that Stevens—a courageous, conscientious, and thoroughly competent cop—very likely saved a lot of lives with his keen professional instincts, quick reflexes, and the cool-calm-and-collected application of a scrupulously-maintained skillset that day. He represents a vanishing breed—the sort of man society will never have enough of, but cannot prosper long without.

The real kicker, though, comes in at the end of the piece. I won’t go into any of that, other than to note that the FBI is involved, making it another of those anomalies that one might find shocking but is unsurprising nonetheless. Happily, I just now remembered where I saw the above article first, a blog which just happens to be run by a fine young feller who is by no means unknown in this neck of the woods. He fleshes the whole thing out with additional details and some quite disturbing observations of his own.

Pedos gonna pedo

Better sit down, everyone, this one is a real shocker for sure.

BREAKING: Former President of Drag Queen Story Hour Foundation and Children’s Court Judge Arrested on Seven Counts of Child Porn

Surprising precisely no one. No one with a lick of sense, at any rate. Hold the phone though, there IS actually one (1) legitimately shocking aspect to this story, which we’ll deal with anon.

A Milwaukee County Children’s Court judge and former president and CEO of the Cream City Foundation, which runs the city’s drag queen story hour program, has been arrested on seven counts of child pornography.

Brett Blomme, 38, was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly uploading 27 images and videos of children being sexually abused on the messaging app Kik.

Blomme was held overnight and released with a signature. He has been ordered to stay off social media and file-sharing services and is not allowed near any children except the two that he adopted with his husband.

Blomme is accused of uploading the images both from his home and from the judge’s chambers.

The alleged pedophile judge was the president and CEO of the Cream City Foundation, which runs the Milwaukee Drag Queen Story Hour for local children. As of early Thursday morning, however, all articles and mentions of him had been scrubbed from their website. The links were still cached by Google’s search engine and his role remained detailed on his LinkedIn page.

The gin-yoo-wine shocker mentioned above I will phrase as a question, to wit: HOW THE FUCKING FUCK DID THIS LOATHSOME KIDDIE-DIDDLING SON OF A BITCH EVER BECOME A FUCKING JUDGE IN THE FIRST FUCKING PLACE?!?

File that one under “Questions that make you wonder where the heck God is with that next Great Flood, anyway?” While you’re all working that mental jawbreaker over, here’s something else to think on and remember:

Someone once asked Slick Willie Sutton, the bank robber, why he robbed banks. The question might have uncovered a tale of injustice and lifelong revenge. Maybe a banker foreclosed on the old homestead, maybe a banker’s daughter spurned Sutton for another.

Sutton looked a little surprised, as if he had been asked “Why does a smoker light a cigarette?”

“I rob banks because that’s where the money is,” he said.

And in accord with that, we now have the Pervert Corollary to Sutton’s Maxim: Kiddie Diddlers will reliably be found where the kiddies are. Which would make DQSH a mighty neat little setup for these monstrous freaks, wouldn’t you say?

Elsewhere, Ace dishes up the snark.

Another David French Blessing of Liberty (TM)!

Weird how it turns out that someone with a keen interest in playing sexualized dress-up games with children turns out to also have sexual interest in children.

Ain’t it, though. Ain’t it just. For those of y’all who may have forgotten, or perhaps were never even aware of the phenomenon under discussion in the first place (as a good friend of mine turned out to be today, which I was indeed shocked by), a representative sampling of what Drag Queen Story Hour looks like:

Yeppers, all perfectly healthy, wholesome, and normal as far as I can tell. Nothing whatsoever depraved or unsettling about any of that, nosireebob. Why, who but a hate-crazed bigot could possibly take issue with normalizing it, thereby encouraging transvestism as nothing more than a viable, sensible alternative for young children to consider exploring? If you have a problem with this, then you ARE the problem, Hitler-boy. In fact, these courageous cross-dressers should all be hailed as true HEROS for putting themselves in the line of fire so nobly—helping to broaden the horizons and open the eyes of children so desperately in need of having the archaic, stifling moral values instilled in them by their narrow-minded, CisHet parents supplanted by more evolved, humane, Progressivist ones.

LOVE WINS!™, you sick, uptight, homophobic oppressors!

Christ on a crutch, but this is one fucked-up dumpster fire of a country. The more I see of daylight barking madness like this, the more I feel like the jihadis might just have had the right idea about us all along.

Saying the quiet part out loud

Cadaver Joe staggered out to mumble and slur his way through a speech of some kind or other, apparently. No longer giving the slightest toss about anything shat from any FederalGovCo sphincter myself, I wasted not a moment of my time or attention on it. Hearing it discussed on the car radio today, though, parts of it seem to have been of some moment after all.

On Thursday night, a masked Biden tottered down a long, empty hall to a podium. He then gave the most bizarre presidential address in American history. After a grim recital of “facts” about the last year, Biden emphasized multiple times that Americans had better take the vaccine — and be grateful to him for his amazing ability to get the vaccine to Americans. He also insisted that, vaccines or not, the government’s in control and can lock all of us up all over again.

Here, in no particular order, are the points that struck me:

1. Biden was more alert than he’s been in many months. Given how frail and confused Biden’s been lately, well, let’s just say his verve was suspicious. Even his eyes, which are usually tightly squinted as he struggles to stay alert and read his teleprompter, were wide open, almost scarily so. Still, he got visibly tired near the end, slurring his words and seeming lost.

3. Biden kept saying he was going to tell the truth. He quoted a woman he allegedly met who told him her heart’s desire: “‘I just want the truth. The truth. Just tell me the truth.'”

“Tell the truth,” Biden said again.

“My fellow Americans,” he said, “you’re owed nothing less than the truth.”

Later, he added, “I will tell you the truth.”

And then he said, “In the coming weeks and months, I’ll be traveling along with the first lady” and a whole host of others “to tell you the truth.”

Do you know who says things like that? Someone who’s lying.

Well, D’UH. Naturally, the speech was as packed stem to stern with outrageous lies as any other Demonrat exhalation reliably is. As pluperfect an old grifter as we know the pRetend pResident to be from his half-century spent rooting in the DC hog-trough, how could any sentient being expect something other than misdirection, hypocrisy, and calculated, self-serving falsehood from the senile old kiddie-diddler? Even so, there were some telling tidbits inadvertently revealed. More delicate, Pollyanna-ish types still locked in denial about what kind of country they live in might need to fortify themselves with a swallow or three of something strong.

7. The main thrust of the speech was that everyone must get the vaccine (the wonderful Biden vaccine). However, Biden conceded that even with the vaccine, masks and social distancing must continue. Even with everyone vaccinated, by July 4, maybe we can gather with small groups outdoors. In other words, even as we’re all pumped full of a vaccine, nothing will change. But we should trust Biden and remember that we’re all in this together.

8. Here’s the scariest thing Biden said, although he slipped it in so quickly many may not have noticed (emphasis mine): “Fourth, in the coming weeks, we will issue further guidance on what you can and cannot do once fully vaccinated to lessen the confusion, to keep people safe, and encourage more people to get vaccinated.”

The vaccine, rather than freeing us, will bring us even more tightly under government control as the federal government mandates what we can and cannot do.

It’s just beautiful, innit? Now you all be good little boys and girls and get your “vaccination,” then maybe Mommy and Daddy will think about letting you celebrate your “freedom” on “Independence Day” just a little this year, mmmmkay?

Naturally, Praetorian Media “journalists” wet themselves with delirious joy over Biden’s grim unveiling of how our Deep State masters really perceive the current state of play in Amerika v2.0.

“Biden Tells Nation There Is Hope After a Devastating Year.”

“Hopeful Biden Says, ‘I Need You.’”

“Biden Sets Vaccine Goal That Would Allow Americans To Gather By July 4.”

These headlines, from the covers of the printed New York Times, LA Times, and Boston Globe, greeted Americans Friday morning, 51 days into the Biden presidency and a full year into the beginnings of America’s long lockdown experiment.

“Seven Takeaways From Biden’s Prime-Time Address” topped CNN’s site. Chris Cillizza’s first two “takeaways”? “Donald Trump dug the hole” was number one. Number two? “A return to empathy.” Chris Cillizza, it’s worth noting, is a 45-year-old man and does not work for the White House.

“Last night is why Joe Biden won the presidency,” Politico Playbook opened with a straight face.

If you hadn’t watched the president’s prime-time address, you might think it was something — anything — other than the most depressing, defeated, and resigned speech since President Jimmy Carter held the office. You might think he hadn’t devoted his third sentence to a baseless attack on his predecessor, and the entire rest of his address to death, sadness, loneliness, and despair. You might think he hadn’t literally threatened the American people, warning, “We may have to reinstate restrictions to get back on track, please, we don’t want to do that again.”

Yeah, and you might also have trouble feeding yourself, tying your shoelaces, or finding your own ass with both hands and a compass, too.

But even in so deep and dark a night as this, there are glimmers of light to be seen here and there. For instance, earlier today I was on the phone with a friend of mine as he drove along McConnells Highway in South Cackalacky. Mid-conversation, he began mumbling a slow count-off, getting up to eleven before bursting into raucous laughter. See, along a certain stretch near his place there are a lot of homes flying the now-desecrated Stars and Stripes out front. Turns out that my friend was totting up the number of folks he passed who had suddenly decided to fly their US flag upside down. This, mind, on the day after Bai-Ding puked forth the most profoundly un-American speech by a *president* in our history.

Which is actually, literally illegal unless done as a distress signal in circumstances of extreme danger to life or property, if I remember right. I figure those people needn’t worry overmuch about being arrested or jailed, though. Our current national predicament makes a pretty good argument against it.

Ready for “pResident” Kumala?

Because ready or not, we’ve got her.

There have been a lot of questions about Joe Biden’s cognitive condition, him putting off doing any one on one presser with the media and him not doing the traditional address to the joint session of Congress that he himself said he would be doing this month.

Then came the reports that some Democrats didn’t want him to have the sole control of the nuclear codes.

On top of all that, people are now noticing the Kamala Harris is being asked to do things that would normally be the responsibility of Biden, such as talking on the phone with and meeting with foreign leaders.

Politico framed it as Biden trying to help her catch up in an area she doesn’t have a lot of experience in and wants to concentrate on as a specialty.

So Harris was involved in Biden’s meeting with the Canadians, Biden’s first bilateral meeting, something Biden himself didn’t get to do, according to Politico. Harris also called the director-general of the World Health Organization to talk about the Wuhan coronavirus response and she’s held solo calls with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and French President Emmanuel Macron.

But some folks, like Sean Hannity, are looking at it more as helping Harris take over such responsibilities.

As deeply cynical an old rapscallion as I’ve come to be in recent years, even I’m on record as having figured they’d keep Cadaver Joe propped up until March or April—if only for the sake of keeping up appearances—before spiking his morning reanimator injection with cyanide and subsequently installing Willie’s Li’l Sidepiece on the throne of the Forever Junta. Gropey must be in even worse shape than was previously suspected, I guess. The shambolically-delicious Texas collapse suffered by Seatwarmer Joe ain’t something even the most mulishly delusional shitlib would be brazen enough to call confidence-inspiring. Not with a straight face, anyway.

Yeesh. It’s not even arguable at this point that the Vegetable In Thief remains competent enough to organize a circle-jerk in a Tijuana whorehouse, assuming that he ever had been. Bonchie nutshells it:

There’s a reason his wife has to do joint interviews with him at an unheard-of rate. There’s a reason he wasn’t able to get down to Texas until the disaster was well over. There’s also a reason why a man who is ostensibly president hasn’t done a single press conference since taking office. Joe Biden does not appear to be well, and because of that, he isn’t showing an ability to execute even the nominal duties of his office. That’s become so painfully obvious that it’s not really funny anymore. It’s actually scary.

Scary? Naaaah, I think it’s hilarious. The genuinely scary thing is pondering the lengths to which the guys with their arms up the back of Faux Jaux’s shirt making his mouth move seem willing to go in order to keep this faltering Democracy Theater Productions™ shitshow staggering along…and what they have planned for their captive audience when the curtain finally drops, the actors trot offstage to huddle in their secure green-room cloisters, and the house lights come back up. One thing’s for sure: the cleanup crew is going to have their work cut out for them knocking the theater back into presentable shape again the morning after, because the venerable old place has been well and truly TRASHED.

Deep State gonna Deep State

I think it’s sooooo cute how some people still want to believe that, even after all we’ve seen, the System can be relied on to correct the malfeasance and corruption the System itself birthed and nurtured.

‘Inexplicable’: Alito and Thomas Dissent as Supreme Court Strikes Down Pennsylvania Election Lawsuit

Inexplicable? Hardly. The explanation is right there in our faces, for all to see. Refusal to see a thing does NOT mean the thing does not exist.

On Monday, the Supreme Court threw out several of the remaining challenges to the 2020 presidential election as moot, considering that former President Donald Trump conceded to Joe Biden, who has now become president. Yet Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas dissented, arguing that the Supreme Court should have taken the opportunity to clarify election law, especially in the case of Pennsylvania.

“The Constitution gives to each state legislature authority to determine the ‘Manner’ of federal elections,” Thomas wrote. “Yet both before and after the 2020 election, nonlegislative officials in various States took it upon themselves to set the rules instead. As a result, we received an unusually high number of petitions and emergency applications contesting those changes.”

Thomas’ dissent is well-reasoned and -written, as is his usual wont, and so is Alito’s. The mistake made by both these worthy Justices is that their arguments proceed from an assumption that the Constitutional Republic known as the United States of America still exists. That assumption is unfounded; said much-mourned Republic most assuredly does not, and the flyblown traveshamockery that displaced it bears no recognizable likeness to what it so rudely elbowed aside. The shifting and pathetic rationalization puked up by the USSC’s majority of shifty dissemblers for cavalierly sidestepping their sworn duty gives the game away:

What the Supreme Court codified yesterday, and what it started with the Texas rejection, is that election laws and procedures cannot be challenged beyond a state court, at any time, regardless of how badly those states shred the United States Constitution, and regardless of the major consequences to the other 49 states as a result. They don’t ever say that per se, but the results of what those two rulings have done are just that. Period.

Those trying to challenge Pennsylvania’s obviously corrupt and rigged election system have been told that they cannot challenge the laws ahead of the election, because there is not yet a victim. They’ve been told that fellow Americans impacted by Pennsylvania’s corrupt system cannot challenge, because of standing. Now they’ve been told that they cannot challenge after the election, because it’s after the election – and therefore moot.

This kind of infantile and absurd logic just defies belief and takes one’s breath away. And not just mine. I think it’s clear that Justice Clarence Thomas is even more mystified than am I, and he was livid.  He was also, as he always is, right on the money in his analysis.

“One wonders what this Court waits for,” understates Thomas in his dissent, adding “we failed to settle this dispute before the election, and thus provide clear rules. Now we again fail to provide clear rules for future elections. The decision to leave election law hidden beneath a shroud of doubt is baffling. By doing nothing, we invite further confusion and erosion of voter confidence. Our fellow citizens deserve better and expect more of us.”

“Baffling?” My deep, sincere, and abiding respect for you notwithstanding, sir, I must repeat: hardly. It is dismaying. It is disgusting. It is despicable, and it is damning. At this point, though, “baffling” it is NOT, sad as it is to have to say it.

Here t’is; the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. The 2020 election was stolen. We know it; the thieving scoundrels know it; the Vichy GOPe swine all know it. Everybody knows it, and the US Supreme Court knows it too. As not only a crucial subdivision of the Deep State but one of its most effective guardians also, the Court intends to see to it that the fraud stands, and that further challenges to the ragged legitimacy of the current Occupation Government will be summarily and contemptuously rebuffed using any excuse that can be manufactured. Ace puts it cleanly and clearly.

I can explain it: the “Shadow conspiracy” article in Time Magazine explained it.

The Shadow Conspiracy article in Time was written to alert the left that these changes were absolutely critical to fake-winning the election, and that therefore, anyone on the left and anyone supporting the permanent corrupt Deep State must fight with all their might to keep these illegal rules in place.

By the way, they keep saying that this wouldn’t effect the results of the election because they have repeatedly sifted the number of challenges down to the point where we’re talking about just a couple of thousand ballots.

They’ve figured out other ways to ignore the challenges to all the other ballots.

It’s like breaking down a cargo into a hundred pieces and saying of each tiny piece, “No, this won’t meaningfully affect the ship’s seaworthiness. No this one also won’t meaningfully affect the ship’s seaworthiness. No this one also won’t appreciably affect the ship’s seaworthiness…”

Yeah but take them all together and the ship sinks.

And so it has. Once again, Real Americans are treated to the unlovely spectacle of the Master class openly laughing in the faces of the lowly Serf class, taunting and jeering in celebration of a victory the Masters arrogantly presume to be permanent and unassailable. May Hubris of such unprecedented extravagance as this provoke a rebuke from Nemesis of equal magnitude. Never forget that History has a dissenting opinion of its own to offer, a judgment far more sweeping and powerful than any piffling petarade the pompous gasbags of the USSC can muster. The last word I’ll leave to Vox:

So much for the importance of electing Republicans to appoint Supreme Court justices….

Yup. Oh, and then there’s this:

AreCourtsLegitimate.jpeg

Yup again. And now we know that, too. So what, if anything, shall we do about all this?

Yet another alarm klaxon, klaxoning

An intriguing look at the Texas disaster, from the inside.

How would your family, and a hundred thousand other families, like to be stuck in your cars for days at minus 16 degrees?

The death toll would be huge.  It almost happened in New England in 1989.

And in Texas this week.

I was part of the 1989 Freeze and have some hopefully interesting insights.

In 1989, the weather just before Christmas was terrible.  Cold temperature records were set from Texas to New England.

That year, I was responsible for a midcontinent gas gathering system that normally produced about 500 million cubic feet (MMCFD) of natural gas a day.  That could supply up to 2 million New England homes.  During the 1989 Freeze, we produced 30 MMCFD, roughly a 95% decline.  Similar results were happening throughout the Oil Patch.  Supply cratered.

Meanwhile, demand for natural gas was exploding, almost literally (more on that below).  While the midcontinent temperatures were low enough to freeze gas wells, New England had dangerous arctic temperatures of minus 16 degrees.  This created huge natural gas demand for home heating in a major New England town.

The city ultimately weathered that crisis through luck.

Now that we’ve established this guy’s credentials, on to the juicy stuff.

Your city gas company takes gas from high-pressure interstate and intrastate gas pipelines. The gas then moves to customers through its lower-pressured gas distribution pipes. The gas pressure decrease as it as moves to the customers. Normally the utilities’ inlet gas pressure is more than enough for them to supply gas safely.

With 1989 gas production down dramatically and demand exploding, the high-pressure gas system could not supply enough gas to meet demand. This resulted in decreasing line pressures in the high-pressure supply system, lowering the gas utilities’ inlet gas pressure.

The utility’s inlet pressures were so low, and dropping, that soon the distribution system pressures would be below atmospheric pressure. Air could then flow into the gas pipelines. Typically, back-flow valves stop that. Since many of the furnaces were old and converted from prior fuels (oil, coal), proper valving was a big problem.

Oxygen in natural pipelines is incredibly dangerous. Whole city blocks could be destroyed in an air/gas explosion.

To maintain safe gas pressures, the operators wanted to shed load with localized gas shutoffs. Since all non-critical gas loads had already been shutoff, only critical loads were left. This included houses and hospitals. To save the gas grid, the operators had to cutoff gas to a very large number of customers.

Whose gas to shut off?

Scary stuff, this is, and absolutely essential reading. Don’t worry, though; now that Pretend pResident Bai-Ding has given complete access to all aspects of the decrepit and barely-functional US power infrastructure to his CCP handlers and officially made it a wholly-owned subsidiary of ChiCom Inc just like he personally is, I’ll sure our new overlords will be able staighten out this mess for us straightaway.

Preview of coming attractions

Oh goody, the Chair Force has itself a new platform to use in hunting down MAGA types.

The U.S. Air Force has taken delivery of its first Beechcraft AT-6E Wolverine single-engine turboprop light attack aircraft. The service has said in the past that it could acquire up to three of these aircraft to support a program called the Airborne Extensible Relay Over-Horizon Network, or AEROnet, focused on developing a low-cost communications and data-sharing architecture to help allies and partners work together better during coalition operations.

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) based at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, announced the arrival of the AT-6E on Feb. 17, 2021. The AT-6E is a variant of the T-6 Texan II trainer from Beechcraft, a division of Textron, configured for light attack and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions. The Air Force, as well as the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army, already operate unarmed versions of the Texan II.

The most immediately visible difference between the AT-6E, which Beechcraft has marketed in the past as the AT-6B, AT-6C, or simply the AT-6, and standard Texan II trainers are its six underwing pylons. These can accommodate various precision-guided bombs and missiles, as well as rocket and gun pods, among other stores.

It’s actually a good-looking aircraft. I started to embed one of the pics, but there’s no pressing need for that, really. Contra the USAF’s blushful demurral about “help(ing) allies and partners work together better during coalition operations,” it’s a fair bet that at least some Real Americans will be enjoying a close-in view of the new birds soon enough.

Okay, “enjoying” might not be exactly the mot juste here.

Lockdowns forever, forever locked down

Living la vida locka.

Conservatives who predicted that COVID-19 would end with the Trump Administration were overlooking a central point: The Left’s hatred of Trump is merely a symptom of their guiding philosophy, which is, as “Yes, Minister” put it so concisely back in the 1970s, gradually to exclude people from government. The Left is in favor of any action that will expand the authority of bureaucrats by taking decisions out of the hands of citizens.

With the coronavirus, the Left is beside itself with glee: This is the first crisis since 9/11 broad enough to make possible a fundamental transformation of American society.

Every great crisis in American history, without exception, has been used to expand government. The greater the crisis, the greater the scope for expansion: 9/11 led to the NSA monitoring the traffic of the entire internet. It also created the Department of Homeland Security and the TSA, with the power to ruin air travel forever and give passengers a taste of how they’d feel being processed into a federal penitentiary. Of course Israel, facing a much more persistent terror threat, manages to keep terrorists off planes without touching their passengers’ privates. America’s security measures—which will never go away—were not a result of what needed doing, but what the government thought they could get away with doing.

In the 1930s, the Great Depression was used as an opportunity to create a welfare state in America and issue every citizen with an identification number, which we call Social Security. The Depression didn’t actually go away until World War II, and, once it did go away, the massive new government programs remained. In the 1860s, the Civil War was also an opportunity to impose an income tax for the first time in American history. The income tax was unconstitutional, so it wasn’t until another great looming crisis—World War I—that the constitution was amended to make the income tax a permanent feature of our lives.

The reason coronavirus so delights today’s Left is that the public response to their power grab has been overwhelmingly docile: The numbers of deaths are vastly below historic health panics, even with generous inflation via guidelines encouraging doctors to record anyone who previously had the virus as having died from it.

Even so, the government was able to lock people in their homes for a “two-week period” that turned out to be roughly a year, destroy much of the hospitality sector of the economy, force people to cover their faces in public as though living under a secular sharia, and, perhaps best of all, they got neighbors to snitch on neighbors and children to report their parents when these edicts weren’t followed.

It has been a bonanza. The everyday American citizen will always remember 2020 as a painful, terrible, soul-crushing year. For the Left, that makes it one of the best years on record. It is one of those great years in which they changed how Americans live.

They’ve been on quite a tear, enjoying a very nearly uninterrupted win streak since, oh, FDR at least. Those wins come with an asterisk attached, though, signifying their slightly tainted nature. Cattle Car Americans earned collective credit for an assist on each one, by docilely moo-ing their assent to every successive encroachment on the rights and freedoms they no longer care about.

The article’s title is “The Pandemic Is Over,” which isn’t entirely accurate. This will only be over when enough of us finally get off of our knees to stand up and say it is, and not a moment before. Until such time as our compliance is withdrawn, locked down we are, and locked down we shall remain.

When you’re right, you’re right

And right they are.

Russia Blasts Biden Regime For ‘Persecution’ Of Trump Supporters, Political Dissidents
Russia calls on the United States to observe the human rights of political opponents.

The irony, it burns.

The Russian Foreign Ministry has issued a statement lambasting the United States government under Joe Biden for the “ongoing persecution campaign” taking place “against anybody at all who does not agree with the results of the latest presidential election.”

In the statement, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova delivered a scathing assessment of the human rights situation in the United States under President Joe Biden.

Zakharova described the ongoing crackdown against Trump loyalists in the United States:

“The FBI has reportedly opened more than 400 criminal cases and applied for more than 500 search warrants and subpoenas for suspects; it has also brought charges against and detained around 200 people. Only several dozen defendants have been released on bail or placed under house arrest. The others are being subjected to harsh pressure, with members of their family and social circle being coerced into giving a ‘convenient’ testimony. Moreover, people who have not even been officially charged are losing their jobs; they are being banned from social media and publicly ostracised.”

She also questioned the “objectivity of the law enforcement agencies” involved in this campaign, noting that they were acting under orders and “in line with the narrative of the current administration who declared the events of January 6, 2021 a riot and everybody who was near the US Congress on that day all but plunderers.”

She went on to correctly note that far from being violent rioters, most of the attendees of the January 6 rally were peaceful protesters.

“In fact, the majority of those people were ordinary citizens concerned about the situation in their own country,” she said. “These were 74 million voters who voted for their president and defended their views.”

Living in Biden’s shiny new Amerikan Gulag, you might devoutly wish to be able to dispute all that. But if you’re at all honest, you can’t. Bottom line:

As the human rights situation continues to deteriorate in the United States, it is becoming apparent to the world that Trump supporters are a repressed group in Biden’s America.

A-yup. Know the old saying “the truth hurts”? Well, when you’re trapped in a rapidly disintegrating banana republic, watching a formerly powerful and prosperous nation fall into decay in the iron-fisted grip of an illegitimate, repressive junta that is openly hostile to half its own population, it damned sure does at that.

That trick NEVER works

Imagine my surprise to learn that reverting to primitive, unreliable technologies that civilization abandoned four centuries ago as superior ones came along might NOT have been such a great idea after all.

Historic winter storm freezes Texas wind turbines; millions without power
Nearly half of Texas wind energy production has frozen to a halt

Millions are without power in Texas after a historic winter storm blasted the state over the weekend, creating freezing conditions that have made the roads dangerous and knocking out nearly half of Texas’ installed wind power generation.

Texas grid operators who spoke to the Austin American-Statesman said freezing rain and historically low temperatures caused wind turbines in West Texas to freeze to a halt, knocking out some 12,000 megawatts of energy production. Wind farms in Texas typically generate up to 25,100 megawatts of energy, almost half of which is currently out of production as the state works to thaw out the turbines.

“This is a unique winter storm that’s more widespread with lots of moisture in West Texas, where there’s a lot of times not a lot of moisture,” said Dan Woodfin, senior director of system operations for the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, the nonprofit corporation that manages the power grid. “It’s certainly more than what we would typically assume.”

Um, is this a bad time to mention that, according to the exact same liberal idiots who demanded the useless windmills, we were supposed to all be roasted alive by Climate Change (formerly Global Warming, formerly Global Cooling, formerly “the weather”) before now? That cold, icy winter weather was confidently predicted to be a thing of the past as rising CO2 levels brought Gaia to the brink of destruction, the polar ice caps melted, and temperatures and sea levels alike went up and up?

What we have here is a failure to learn from the deadly disasters Leftist ideas cause each and every time wiser heads give in and let them have their way.

If you are looking at the facts in TX, the obvious lesson here is: stop subsidizing and mandating unreliables–which are often useless when you need them most–and do a better job at managing reliables.

Instead of acknowledging the reality that unreliables can’t keep us warm or powered in the winter–and that the “100% renewable” direction is disastrous–advocates of unreliables are instead implying that no source of electricity can be relied upon, so no need to single out wind.

Dr. Emily Grubert of GA Tech writes: “Let us be absolutely clear: if there are grid failures today, it shows the existing (largely fossil-based) system cannot handle these conditions either.” Really? Ever heard of the Midwest or Canada?

TX is having an electricity crisis during bad winter weather because it did not focus enough on building reliable power plants and infrastructure–because it was obsessed with getting as much unreliable wind/solar electricity as possible. Let’s all learn from this mistake.

Right now TX’s plans include

  • 0 new nuclear plants
  • 0 new coal plants
  • 9.4 GW wind (the existing 32 GW went to 1 GW during crucial times this week)
  • 11.9 GW solar (solar was useless much of the week)
  • 5.0 GW gas (to handle the unreliables)

These plans should change.

As bad as TX’s plans to “rely on unreliables” are, they are nothing compared to the Biden Plan, which calls for nearly 100% solar and wind electricity by 2035! Everyone should be asking him how the hell his plan would have fared in TX this week.

Actually, we shouldn’t be asking libtards a damned thing. What we should be doing is telling them, very bluntly and firmly. While we’re on the subject of asking about things, though, I have a couple of questions to put: will anybody ever bother totting up the number of Texans who will die because of Leftist folly this week, and will said Leftists ever be held to account for those deaths, in any meaningful way? I’m afraid we already know the answers, sad to say. Which means Tucker is right when he says that we can all expect more of the same from them.

The Green New Deal has come, believe it or not, to the state of Texas. How’s it working out so far?

Well, the good news is all that alternative energy seems to have had a remarkable effect on the climate. Sunday night, parts of Texas got the temperatures that we typically see in Alaska. In fact, they were the same as they were in Alaska. So global warming is no longer a pressing concern in Houston.

The bad news is, they don’t have electricity. The windmills froze, so the power grid failed. Millions of Texans woke up Monday morning having to boil their water because with no electricity, it couldn’t be purified.

The ironically named Electric Reliability Council of Texas, which oversees the grid, had no solution to any of this. They simply told people to stop using so much power to keep warm. So in Houston, hundreds of shivering Texans headed to the convention center like refugees to keep from freezing to death. Some Texans almost certainly did freeze to death. Later this week, we’ll likely learn just how many more were killed as they tried to keep warm with jury-rigged heaters and barbecues and car exhaust.

Rather than celebrate and benefit from their state’s vast natural resources, politicians took the fashionable route and became recklessly reliant on so-called alternative energy, meaning windmills. Fifteen years ago, there were virtually no wind farms in Texas. Last year, roughly a quarter of all electricity generated in the state came from wind. Local politicians were pleased by this. They bragged about it like there was something virtuous about destroying the landscape and degrading the power grid. Just last week, Republican Gov. Greg Abbott proudly accepted something called the Wind Leadership Award, given with gratitude by Tri Global Energy, a company getting rich from green energy.

So it was all working great until the day it got cold outside. The windmills failed like the silly fashion accessories they are, and people in Texas died. This is not to beat up on the state of Texas — it’s a great state, actually — but to give you some sense of what’s about to happen to you.

Indubitably so, unless and until sensible adults get serious about putting a stop to it. More cold, hard reality from Larry Johnson:

Guess who else is suffering from the blue lip, frozen snot artic temperatures? Electric vehicles–say goodby to Tesla as a reliable companion if the mercury is in single digits. Talking with an old friend in Clarion, Iowa, I had a full belly laugh as he described his recent conversation with a friend who owned a car dealership.

Iowa has been particularly savaged by howling winds and temperatures worthy of a deep freezer. People with Teslas and other electric cars (e.g. Volt) have discovered much to their chagrin that electric batteries do not like the cold. Severe, low temps rapidly drain the batteries of their charge, and the next thing you know you are stranded next to a corn field in a lonely stretch of road. You just have to hope that you kept your cell phone charged to call for help. This discovery is leading many formerly happy owners of the electric cars to dump them as fast as they can get themselves into a gas-fueled pick up truck or SUV capable of plowing through a snowdrift.

I say thank God for Mother Nature. She’s not angry or cruel. She’s just reminding the silly academics and climate change scientists that their prescription for cheap, renewable energy does not work where the temperature hovers around zero and the sun only shows itself during winter for a few scant hours.

While climate change obsession is absurd, it is not funny. People died because wind-supplied electricity stopped working. Women and children died because the loss of power led them to rely on gas-burning stoves that produced carbon monoxide. That said, I am all in favor of the Democrat-controlled states to go all-in on getting rid of fossil fuel power systems and supplies. Why? Let Darwin do his work and rid us of these delusional souls.

Now THERE’S an idea I can really get behind. Far as I can see, if a society wishes to rid itself of the disasters, misery, and hardship caused by Leftists, it must rid itself of Leftists.

The Plot thickens

Well, this certainly didn’t take as long as I expected it to.

Kamala Harris Already Taking Head of State Phone Calls With World Leaders
Just weeks into Joe Biden’s “transition” presidency, his second-in-command, Kamala Harris has already begun taking Head of State phone calls with world leaders, it has been learned.

A White House readout of a recent call between the deeply unlikable and unpopular Harris and President Emmanuel Macron of France was first noticed by the National Pulse.

On Feb. 1, Harris also spoke with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in her first call with a foreign leader, the Daily Mail reported.

I said from the start that I figured his puppeteers would go on with the charade that Cadaver Joe was competently in charge for a few months before somebody slipped a stiff jolt of cyanide into his daily reanimation injection, whereupon it would be announced that poor ol’ Gropey had succumbed to the FAUXVID19 Plague and the nation would pretend to be in mourning over their tragic loss as Kummala underwent her final preps for the move into the Big Chair.

I adjusted my thinking after reading (someplace or other, can’t remember now) some speculation on an even more likely scenario: the mouldering Bidencorpse would be propped up somehow for two years before the switcheroo is made, after which Harris could not only serve out Gropey’s last two years but also remain eligible to run for two full terms of her own. Should Gropey succumb before that two-year line is drawn, no dice.

Plausible? Oh, you betcher. That would give the Dems ten uninterrupted years to cement their hold on power permanently, trashing whatever pitiful remants of the country are left and completing their lusted-after Fundamental Transformation once and for all. I mean, what’s not to like? For them, I mean. Ace analysis:

State-to-state communication is supposed to always be between equals. And that means a head of a foreign state talks to the head (supposedly) of the American state.

If the president delegates a lesser official to call, then the foreign state also puts a lesser official on the call.

But Vice President (citation needed) Kamala Harris is now doing the job of the Commander in Chief.

And foreign heads of state are talking with her.

So they know. They’ve been told, Dementia Joe just isn’t up to it. He’s an old cottonheaded puppet.

This is unconstitutional. Invoke the 25th Amendment and call a lid on Sundown Joe.

A fine idea, sure enough. But the execution of such an obviously appropriate move would require a genuine, honest-to-God opposition party, an item which we seem to be all out of at the moment. In any event, one thing is perfectly clear: the Seatwarmer In Thief must be in pretty sorry shape indeed if he’s already being nudged offstage so Kummala can prematurely take her star turn. The shadowy Deep State director behind the curtain can’t be too happy about that; the Fourth Wall has been broken, throwing the whole production into a cocked hat. Some pretty fancy footwork will be necessary if suspension of disbelief is to be restored.

Mythbuster

The Trumpian Heresy.

We all know, deep down, that our “Republic” is not a really functioning democracy. This is probably why our leaders, far more so than leaders of genuinely democratic countries such as Switzerland or Norway, feel the need to constantly emphasize the importance, as Nancy Pelosi put it pompously in a January 10 press release, of “protecting our Constitution and Democracy.” They do this to overcompensate for insecurities and doubts. It is part of our national Myth—our Civil Religion—that we are the ultimate democratic nation. This is the real reason why Donald Trump was impeached. He has committed heresy against the American Myth.

Myths, according to anthropologists, are fundamental in holding peoples together, in covering-up contradictions, creating a united group and legitimizing those in power. Thus, questioning them—even if they are empirically false—is generally Not Done. Doing so is, perhaps only unconsciously, regarded as a heretical attempt to destroy the society and all those invested in the status quo.

This was best articulated—though you have to read between the lines—by NBC political correspondent Kelly O’Donnell when she was interviewed on NBC News on the morning of February 11th. O’Donnell explained that Trump’s political career has been marked by:

…saying things that others would fear to say and recoil at saying; talking about rigged elections…The idea of saying that something is rigged for most politicians would be a step too far. For Donald Trump, as a candidate and president, he was certainly willing to blow past those lines of normalcy and sort of discretion and the frequency of repeating it really created a bond with his supporters. [My transcription].

Saying these things, according to O’Donnell, caused Trump’s supporters to question the sacred cow of whether American elections were genuinely fair, infuriating them, and leading to the “insurrection” that was indeed—according to O’Donnell—a “threat to democracy.”

So, even if there has been a rigged election—or even if you genuinely believe that an election has been rigged—you should surely have enough “discretion” to not go public about it.

Although Americans aren’t generally aware of it, international analyses have concluded that America is the one of the least democratic countries in the “democratic” category of countries. It is only just about possible to call it democratic at all. According to the Electoral Integrity Project’s analysis, the US came near the bottom of this second highest group for honest elections, tying with Mexico. This because a number of factors frowned on by international observers open it up to electoral fraud. These include: no voter ID, mail-in ballots, duplicate registration, election observers being prevented from observing, unreliable voting machines, the media calling results while some areas are still voting and so literally influencing the election, and voter fraud not being prosecuted often enough.

But of course voter fraud can’t be prosecuted. To admit that it happens would be to admit that a component of the American Civil Religion is nonsense.

There was way more than just that one component confirmed as denialist moonshine during Trump’s wearing term under Oval Office siege. Ultimately, though, the problem vexing our present-day Swamp “nobility” is the same one their Medieval forerunners—cited by the author in a most apt comparison—were eventually undone by: once the serfs have witnessed the slaughter of those Sacred Cows, there’s no way they can be made to unsee it.

Facing the facts

We are the people we’ve been waiting for.

There are a lot of people posting B.S. from “credible sources” about how Biden will be in power for 9 weeks, or how the military really is in DC to protect us, or (do I really have to make a 3 page line item list?) I’ll skip that.

I understand that in some cases people can’t come to grips with the fact that everything really is lost. So they post crap about “what is going to happen” and general blah said blah or my lawyer said blah or Sidney released blah or whatever blah blah blah – none of it has merit.

FACT: The communists seized the country. The coup is complete.

And it was well planned, where Obama rigged the military to make sure they went along with it.

It is OVER. Trump is not secretly being president behind the scenes, no one is waiting for anyone to prove how bad they are before they get arrested and the military is not running the country.

People need to come to grips with this, because hopeful stories are paralyzing them like a frogs under a bright light, preventing them from jumping to action.

Sitting still like it is business as usual right now is exactly what the communists want, while they pile more and more and MORE troops into DC to eliminate all danger for them while they shred the country.

That is what the military is there for – to support the coup.

For the record: No election will work. The last one did not work, and they are solidifying and rooting in the fraud to heights beyond what it took to simply steal it like flipping a switch last time. We are not going to vote our way out of this.

For the record: There will be no “charge of the light brigade” and Trump is in charge of NOTHING. It will be ALL darkness from here on out.

It’s the blackest of black pills, and I only wish I knew of a plausible argument to be made that it isn’t so. It’s also a must-read—especially for anyone still locked in denial’s thrall, clinging to the forlorn hope of some miraculous last-second reprieve.

(Via Wes Rhinier)

Update! Another grim wake-up call.

The FBI’s missing-in-action response to plain view evidence of massive vote fraud in the presidential election seems poles apart from the agency’s enforcement priority to bring to justice the Capitol rioters. It is more reminiscent of slow-walking White House declassification efforts in the matter of Crossfire Hurricane, or stonewalling the release of subpoenaed documents requested for Senate hearings into the Russia hoax. One wonders little that Biden is pleased with the work Wray has been doing and would be keeping him on as director.

On November 3, we went to bed in America. On November 4, we woke up in Venezuela. But simply rigging the election in soft coup style through bloodless machinations to deny a second Trump term doesn’t end the vendetta. Election Day was but the opening salvo in the Democrat game plan to dupe Americans into abdicating their own liberties. Through dozens of executive actions, our freedoms are being purloined in plain sight and over the lethargic objections of Republican lawmakers.

Any objections they make, lethargic or otherwise, are dishonest. They’re fully-paid up partners, playing their assigned role on the Democracy Kabuki stage.

At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will just take down the scenery, they will pull back the curtains, they will move the tables and chairs out of the way and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theater.”
Frank Zappa

“The right of a nation to kill a tyrant in case of necessity can no more be doubted than to hang a robber, or kill a flea.”
John Adams

"A society of sheep must in time beget a government of wolves."
Bertrand de Jouvenel

"It is terrible to contemplate how few politicians are hanged."
GK Chesterton

"I predict that the Bush administration will be seen by freedom-wishing Americans a generation or two hence as the hinge on the cell door locking up our freedom. When my children are my age, they will not be free in any recognizably traditional American meaning of the word. I’d tell them to emigrate, but there’s nowhere left to go. I am left with nauseating near-conviction that I am a member of the last generation in the history of the world that is minimally truly free."
Donald Sensing

"The only way to live free is to live unobserved."
Etienne de la Boiete

"History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid."
Dwight D. Eisenhower

"To put it simply, the Left is the stupid and the insane, led by the evil. You can’t persuade the stupid or the insane and you had damn well better fight the evil."
Skeptic

"There is no better way to stamp your power on people than through the dead hand of bureaucracy. You cannot reason with paperwork."
David Black, from Turn Left For Gibraltar

"If the laws of God and men, are therefore of no effect, when the magistracy is left at liberty to break them; and if the lusts of those who are too strong for the tribunals of justice, cannot be otherwise restrained than by sedition, tumults and war, those seditions, tumults and wars, are justified by the laws of God and man."
John Adams

"The limits of tyranny are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress."
Frederick Douglass

"Give me the media and I will make of any nation a herd of swine."
Joseph Goebbels

“I hope we once again have reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. There’s a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: As government expands, liberty contracts.”
Ronald Reagan

"Ain't no misunderstanding this war. They want to rule us and aim to do it. We aim not to allow it. All there is to it."
NC Reed, from Parno's Peril

"I just want a government that fits in the box it originally came in."
Bill Whittle
