Bears repeating

You guys will remember my post the other night featuring the shot across the bow issued to the Shasta County, California board of supervisors by a fed-up local business owner. Well, Gerard ran across a more complete transcript of this fine American’s stirring warning, plus video. I consider the unexpurgated version well worth putting up.

I wasn’t gonna speak but I was asked to speak here. Sheriff, good to see you. I’m telling you guys, I’m pretty appalled with what’s going on. At first we sat as concerned citizens, we all wanted to figure out how to navigate our way through this whole Covid thing. And as we realized that it’s not quite as dangerous as we thought it’d be, I was absolutely appalled at the cowardice. You’re just sitting there with your masks on. I don’t blame you for wearing masks because I’d be hiding my face too if I were you, for what you’re doing. It’s absolutely horrendous what you’re doing to these people. I’m a business owner and I’m telling you, our families are starving. You guys can sit here with your jobs, you can sit here and you’re getting paid, you can fall asleep in your chair like that gentleman’s doing behind his mask right there. And I’m telling you right now, that right now we’re being peaceful. And you better be happy that we’re good citizens, that we’re peaceful citizens.

But it’s not gonna be peaceful much longer. This isn’t a threat, I am not a criminal, I’ve never been a criminal, but I’m telling you: good citizens are gonna turn into real concerned and revolutionary citizens real soon. And nobody else is gonna say that. I’m probably the only person that has the balls to say what I’m saying right now. That we’re building, we’re organizing, and we’ll work with law enforcement or without law enforcement. But you won’t stop us when time comes because our families are starving.

And if you don’t hear the seriousness in my voice, I hope you open your ears. You absolutely listen to what I’m saying. Because this is a warning. For what’s coming. It’s not gonna be peaceful much longer. It’s not gonna be “rah-rahs,” it’s not gonna be speeches, it’s not gonna be gathering outside saying the Pledge of Allegiance, it’s not gonna be waving flags. It’s gonna be real.

When you’ve seen the things that I’ve seen — I went to war for this country. I’ve seen the ugliest, dirtiest part of humanity. I’ve been in combat. And I never wanna go back again. But I’m telling you what, I will to save this country. If it has to be against our own citizens, it will happen. And there’s a million people like me. And you won’t stop us.

Open the county. Let our citizens do what they need to do. Let owners of businesses do what they need to do to feed their families. Take the masks off. Quit masking and muzzling your children. The psychological damage you’re doing to them is horrible. I’ve had six friends kill themselves since it’s happened. Veterans who lost their jobs. How do you feel about being complicit in perpetuating that. The greatest hoax ever perpetuated on the American people. And you’re part of it while you wear your masks. In Shasta County, we’re supposed to be Red country up here. Not Blue country, we’re Red country up here.

Yes, yes, a thousand times yes.

Hats off to Sundance

In our Donnybrook section, CF commenter Barry has called our attention more than once to Sundance’s somewhat-cryptic posts regarding the compilation of all his diligent labor to uncover evidence of the Obama/Comey/Brennan et al coup attempt against Trump into a sort of dossier that connected all the dots; his trip to DC to present said evidence to the DoJ, Congresscritters, and whoever else he could reach, in hopes of bestirring some, any, or all of them to take some sort of concrete action to see justice done; and most significantly, Sundance’s delivery of a firm deadline for said action, namely this Friday past, failing which he would go public with his voluminous dossier his own self.

So last week, after Sundance had made his appointed rounds in Mordor on the Potomac to present the case, it seems that somone in the AG’s office suddenly reached out to someone at Fox to request a call-in appearance for Barr on Hannity; the AG wished to make an announcement concerning “developments,” t’was said.

And he did. Not a momentous, earth-shattering thing, Barr cautioned everyone. But movement, a “development,” nonetheless, with more of them to come at an unspecified later date.

Then, on Friday, this happened:

WASHINGTON – A Former FBI attorney will plead guilty to making false statements in documents used to obtain a surveillance warrant against former Trump aide Carter Page, his lawyer told the Associated Press Friday.

The guilty plea from Kevin Clinesmith is the first legal action taken in an investigation led by John Durham, a U.S. attorney looking into the origins of the Trump-Russia probe and other intelligence-gathering activities related to the Trump campaign.

Clinesmith’s lawyer, Justin Shur, told the Associated Press that his client will plead guilty to a single false statements charge as part of a cooperation agreement with the government.

At 5 PM Friday, Sundance posted the above excerpt and link with this appended:

I am very well aware of events today.

Discretion is the better part of valor.

Tuesday.

WELL.

It appears to me that Sundance’s prodding has borne fruit, with more expected on Tuesday. A CTH commenter sums it up:

Anyone remember when some idiot someplace on the internet criticized SD as ‘some former clerk living in (redacted!)’? Well, that ‘former clerk’ spent nearly four years doing brilliant, extraordinarily deep research that produced iron clad, irrefutable, proof that every character we know not only participated in the coup, but SD proved and showed exactly what each character did.

First he showed all of us. And then, two weeks ago this guy, whom some loser on the internet once criticized as a ‘former clerk’, set out to present his irrefutable, iron clad proof of who the conspirators are and what each did, to people who might be able to use it to bring about justice. Think about that.

The guy (or gal, or people known as) Sundance decided to bring the evidence into the lions den. On his own dime and time. At his own personal risk.

He succeeded beyond all we could hope or dream for. He not only entered the lion’s den, he quelled all the guardians of the den and hand fed all the other lions his information. His proof was so iron clad, so persuasive, so irrefutable, that he got the attention and concern of the Attorney General of the United States so much so, that after years of obfuscation, double speak, and letting the conspirators get away with their crimes, the AG was forced to ask a TV news show to come on air, so he could make an ‘announcement’ to all of America.

Think how concerned, frightened perhaps, Bill Barr had to be to beg Hannity to come on air so he could make a “not so earth shattering” announcement.

And Sundance did all that without dropping Fat Man or Little Boy, which we know he’s keeping in reserve, just in case.

We stand and humbly thank and salute you, Sundance.

Indeed we do. I’ll go a bit further, actually: it’s my opinion that what Sundance has done here is nothing short of noble. He should be acknowledged far and wide as a truly great American, of a stripe we breed all too few of nowadays.

Think of it: he has provided us all with a sterling demonstration of a “petition for redress of grievances” the Founders recommended in the Constitution. He has shamed every self-proclaimed “professional journalist” in the entire country, the overwhelming majority of whom are no more than DNC PR flacks and stenographers. Over the course of four long years, he dug deep, unearthing scads of documents via FOIA requests that would otherwise have remained hidden, documents revealing the details of the Obama junta’s election-tampering and later coup attempt. He posted his findings as he obtained them at CTH, along with meticulously in-depth analysis explaining how all the countless pieces fit together, who the players were, and what it all added up to.

Then he set us another fine example, in a real-life Mr Smith Goes To Washington moment of a sort which American patriot James Stewart would have heartily approved: he went to Washington himself, to bring the treasonous malfeasance of too-powerful people and agencies into the light of day; to ensure that many gross wrongs committed against a duly-elected and blameless President were righted; to see that the voice of those millions of Trump voters very nearly disenfrachised by the rankest skullduggery and corruption would be heard, and heeded.
these efforts. I’d say that risk is now very serious indeed; I hope he’ll be very cagey and aware from here on out, keeping a constant, watchful eye on his own bodily security. Corrupt, omnipotent governments have quietly eliminated whistleblowers for far less than what he’s accomplished.

Many folks out there rightly say that Real Americans will never get a fair shake from Leftymedia, and so must buckle down and do the job themselves, building their own alternative outlets and institutions instead. Well, don’t look now, but Sundance just did exactly that. He duly petitioned the government for redress of grievances, demanded accountability from those who are supposed to be not our masters but our employees—an important distinction now almost entirely lost to the mists of distant history—and to all appearances, he got results.

The risk to himself personally was and will remain substantial; his courage, tenacity, and audacity are indisputable, and entirely admirable. I repeat: Sundance is a truly great American, and whichever way this ugly mess shakes out, my hat is most humbly off to him.

Tuesday update! News from Sundance.

After several -seemingly- purposeful delays, and some expressions of good faith which I am not sure are actually ‘good’ or ‘faithful’, we come to this moment approximately an hour from now. The media, who I have briefed on the material, have been released from any/all prior confidences. Additionally, I have released the name of the primary investigator (deep behind the Durham probe) to the same media. If those media voices do nothing, I will share who they are… until then, I grant them benefit of courage and patriotism.

It’s time to start asking some very hard questions…. but in order to do that, these voices first needed to know the material so those questions could be asked; hence, the exhaustive travel for in-depth briefings in multiple cities and states.

Nothing is supposition; everything is connected to deep and direct evidence of corruption that covers a variety of interests and numerous institutions.  The most adverse to sunlight are members of Mueller’s purposefully installed special counsel unit. After the Obama administration left office, Andrew Weissmann and crew took over. They did things that only Machiavellian thinkers could imagine. It will all come out; the question is when?

After another attempt to delay, I took a purposeful stance. Everyone reversed course and we are back on track.

Expect no help from the Senate; they were participants. Today’s released obfuscation and nonsense from the SSCI is evidence in that regard. The entire upper chamber is compromised; they know it, I know it, and a large part of the American electorate know it.

I dislike immensely not being able to just be the guy with a blog who outlines research material, provides the direct source information, and explains to people what is going on. Recent weeks/months have been challenging because when your goal is to extend benefit-of-doubt, you do not want to impede any truthful efforts. However, I have exhausted my ‘benefit-of-doubt‘ stash; I need to return to my original position: ‘THE TRUTH HAS NO AGENDA’.

So begins the worst/best phase of the Big Ugly.

Keep checking six, my friend. Constantly. More here, and here too.

Time, and past time

A stirring, if bleakly realistic, call to arms.

America is at a crucial moment in history when one system has failed and all wait and wonder what the new system will be. Very likely, with all of the momentum in the direction of tyranny and force, it will be an ugly, miserable system. While they might hope for a resurgence of American freedom, the opposite has been steadily built on top of that very freedom, smothering it for decades, piling rules and regulations on top of one another until their weight is so great that freedom is no longer known, much less imagined or brought into the light.

It is not enough to win an election. It is not enough to reverse the ruthless penalties brought onto the heads of those laboring to survive not only the pandemic, but the economic disaster it wrought. It is not enough to beg for what little freedom is left. One must be rabidly anti-communist. One must thirst for freedom, demand it beyond all restraint, settle for nothing less than an eradication of the small ministerial laws that sneak communism into every corner of the republic, for that is the root of all we see today. That is the root of Antifa/BLM and Revcom. It is the normalizing of force, the institutionalizing of extortion. Even one law that places the state above the individual is one too many. That one law becomes a guidepost for imprisoning a barber for cutting hair. To imagine that possibility is an affront to American freedom. It still rings with the sound of a thousand chains in the patriot’s head.

What comes to America after the election, no matter which way it goes, is a fight for the survival of American freedom. It is not something that can be done through elections. Each law that allowed petty tyrants to destroy the livelihoods of fellow citizens must be ripped out by the roots. Communist actors that enter the neighborhood must be forced out. If anything has been made abundantly clear over the past few months it is that the police will not help. They have lost the understanding of their oaths. They are subject to the whims of heretical politicians and that makes them dangerous to freedom, because they have no reasoning, no understanding of right and wrong, just instructions, whatever those instructions might be. They rely on no laws, no legislation, but respond to the orders of tyrants and dutifully obey. Breaking that relationship should be high on the agenda as well. There is room for reorganizing the police as so many communists demand, but reorganizing them to fit a model of freedom is just as easy and more necessary.

There will be a lot to do in the coming months. It will be an uphill fight with every institution against one’s efforts. Not even those on the side of freedom know what that means, they repeat it like a parrot, but do not know. Show them. The world waits your every move.

We can only hope it’s not already too late. But TL is correct right down the line with this one, of which you should read the all.

Letter to America

From a good and decent man, a man of courage and integrity, who also happens to be one of Amerika v2.0’s first true martyrs.

We are witnessing a vicious assault by enemies of all that is good, and our president is having to act in ways unprecedented in decades, maybe centuries.

The biblical nature of good versus evil cannot be discounted as we examine what is happening on the streets of America.

It’s Marxism in the form of antifa and the Black Lives Matter movement versus our very capable and very underappreciated law enforcement professionals, the vast majority of whom are fighting to provide us safe and secure homes, streets and communities.

We can no longer pretend that these dark forces are going to go away by mere prayer alone. Prayers matter, but action is required.

This action is needed at the local, state and federal levels. Action is also required in the economic, media, clerical and ecclesiastical realms.

Decide how you can act within your abilities. Stand up and state your beliefs. Be proud of who you are and what you stand for. And face, head-on, those community “leaders” who are willing to allow dark forces to go beyond peaceful protests and destroy and violate your safety and security.

Read all of it—and acknowledge, if you haven’t by now, that this is indeed war: REAL war, war to the knife, war for all the marbles.

If you haven’t noticed yet, our political life is rapidly descending into a series of charades with the potential for catastrophe. In case you think that a “charade” is just a parlor game, here is a dictionary definition: “an absurd pretense intended to create a pleasant or respectable appearance.” The peril created by false appearances in the current political climate is blindness in the face of the evil that threatens us.

…Republicans collude in these dangerous charades. Democrat leaders like Pelosi call Republicans Nazis, Russian agents, traitors. And Republicans respond: “Democrats are playing politics.” No they’re not. This is not the language of politics; it’s the language of war. It’s designed to destroy you. From the moment Trump emerged as victor in 2016, Democrats declared war on the president and therefore America, whose duly elected commander-in-chief he was. They also declared war on everyone associated with the White House and supporting its agendas. Republicans need to wake up. The most important decision they can make as we approach the November elections is to end the charade, accept that it is a war we are facing, and return the Democrats’ fire with fire.

Damned skippy, right down the line. Read all of this one too. It’s a short ‘un, but there’s some very sobering stuff tucked between my ellipses.

More like this, please

Your feel-good video of the week is a real delight, folks.

[Watch] Mask-Shaming Woman Throws Hot Coffee in Face of Unmasked Man Trying to Eat a Burrito, Instantly Regrets It

Yes, by all means, heed the title’s directive and WATCH. I promise you’ll feel a warm frisson of pure pleasure. Although I do have one small nit to pick, which I’ll get to anon.

The backstory:

MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif. – A bloody brawl broke out in Manhattan Beach after a couple confronted two men for not wearing masks, causing an argument that turned violent when the woman threw coffee into the face of one of the men.

The brawl was all caught on video, recorded by James Hernandez’s bodycam, which he says he has to wear as a Trump supporter.

“Because I wear a trump hat I’ve had a lot of confrontations, I guess,” he said.

His camera was rolling on Friday when he says he and his friend, Matthew Roy, were eating burritos outside without masks on, and a couple criticized them.

“Y’all need to be wearing masks,” the woman can be heard saying.

“No we don’t,” Hernandez replies. “We’re locals here but were on the other side of the fence, we don’t believe in this stuff.”

“I hadn’t even gotten to start eating the burrito yet before someone wanted to give me a mask lecture,” Roy said.

Roy says the woman then stuck her middle finger in his face, and tensions escalated further until she threw her coffee in his face.
Roy immediately gets up, and begins punching the woman’s boyfriend in response.

“She decided to slam her coffee into my head and that’s when I decided to get up and beat up her boyfriend,” Roy said.

Which he did, slinging Karen’s stupid-cunt ass around a little as well, just for good measure. Which is where my quibble comes in. The problem: He stopped with the righteous ass-whuppin’ way, WAY too soon.

I am deadly, deadly serious about this right here: There should be many, many repeats of this action, all over the country. BUT…these beatings should NEVER end prematurely. They should, they must continue until the sniveling COVIDIOTS are bleeding profusely on the ground, a bedraggled mess of torn flesh, broken bones, and loosened teeth, completely incapable of struggling to their feet and staggering away under their own power. Otherwise, the salutary purpose of ramming a most useful lesson right down the throats of these meddlesome, self-righteous busybodies will fail to really stick.

And we can’t be having that, now can we? Ah well, enjoy the vid anyway; as they say, the journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step. And while we’re embedding videos here, I dunno, but somehow the star-belly sneeches getting their just comeuppance above reminded me all to hell and gone of the lyrics to this old classic.

It’s time for Kens and Karens everywhere to taste what they most fear, all right. Their recent string of unanswered victories has gotten thoroughly up their noses, as Wodehouse used to say; they’re emboldened now, and won’t ever stop until they get themselves a good bellyful of said fear.

THAT’s how you do it

Shut ’em the fuck DOWN. Whatever it takes.

Armed residents offer no-nonsense response to ‘peaceful’ invaders marching to Seattle police chief’s home
The home of Seattle police Chief Carmen Best was targeted by “peaceful” protesters who were deterred by armed neighbors protecting their property.

Residents in Best’s Snohomish County neighborhood confronted the leftists as they attempted to make their way to her home, making a clear case for the importance of the 2nd Amendment and the protections it offers.

A road into the neighborhood was blocked by residents who also apparently posted on social media about the group of about “200 persons, mostly white men and women in their twenties” who were “dressed in black with masks and black hoods and carried signs that read “Black Lives Matter,”  according to the Lynnwood Times.

“Black Lives Matter protestors shouted profanity and insults at neighbors, took license plate information on vehicles, took pictures of homes, and asked little kids who lived in the neighborhood what schools they attended,” the outlet reported, adding that some of the protesters carried “large duffle bags” and attempted to get to Best’s home in the neighborhood.

One video showed the rude awakening some of the group received by locals who clearly were not going to put up with their antics.

“This is a private drive, get out of the road,” a man can be heard telling the approaching protesters.

“We are peaceful! You pointed a gun at my face!” one protester yelled back to the armed residents.

“That’s why you are peaceful,” the resident quipped.

Bold mine, and delectable. Ace says:

Antifa and BLM “protesters” have two modes: Savage, feral violence when they think they can get away with it and puerile whining when they think they can’t get away with violence.

As they were confronted here by people with guns, violence was off the table, and they resorted to whiiiiining.

I keep saying this: If police won’t do their jobs, citizens will do it instead.

But citizens are not trained law enforcement officers.

Expect high casualties.

Expect it? Hell, at this point I’m actually hoping for it. Because this nonsense won’t stop until at least a few of these Leftard terrorists are fucking massacred. At least one of the valiant Snohomish Minutemen knows the score:

“They were very organized. They had radios, talking to each other. They had numbers they used to decal all their cars for who knows what. So, they were identifying all their vehicles individually by number,” one neighbor told the outlet. “They came with a mission…They were out here intimidating us.”

“I feel incredibly unsafe,” another said. “We think it will happen again…Their objective was not completed; they never made it to her house, we stopped them…so we think they will be back.”

Count on it. Best be ready for them. ALL of us better be, like it or not.

Common sense is breaking out all over!

All over Eastern Europe, at any rate.

Poland has announced it will withdraw from the Istanbul Convention, a treaty which requires that governments actively promote gender theory through the media and education system.

Justice Minister Zbigniew Ziobro told a news conference that his ministry would begin withdrawing from the treaty, titled — arguably misleadingly — the Istanbul Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence Against Women and Domestic Violence.

“Arguably”?

While far-left protesters claimed the move was aimed at legitimising physical violence against women, Ziobro said problems with the treaty eroded parents’ rights by necessitating far-left social policies be promoted to children. He explained that the convention “contains elements of an ideological nature, which we consider harmful”, Reuters reported him saying.

Deputy Justice Minister Michał Wójcik stated that the provisions of the convention centre on an ideology which is harmful “to the family, to marriage”, adding that marriage is between “a woman and a man, not some third, fourth or fifth sex”.

The ministers have drawn attention to aspects of the treaty which claim that domestic violence is a result of gender stereotyping. “…violence against women does not only result from alcoholism or certain pathologies … but also results from problems related to the stereotypical perception of gender,” remarked Dr Dorota Pudzianowska from the George Soros-sponsored Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights.

University of Swansea law professor, Andrew Tettenborn, has commented that the Istanbul Convention does nothing to protect females from domestic violence. Instead, it demands that all of society be dismantled and rebuilt around the idea that gender stereotypes are the cause of physical attacks on women.

Poland has joined Hungary in dumping the treaty in favor of common sense and plain old reality, and good on ’em both. This next tells the story:

According to Article 12 of the treaty, governments who sign up to the document must “take the necessary measures to promote changes in the social and cultural patterns of behaviour of women and men with a view to eradicating prejudices, customs, traditions and all other practices which are based on the idea of the inferiority of women or on stereotyped roles for women and men”.

Asking whether ordinary citizens in countries like Britain, where the government has signed the Istanbul Convention, “realise that their leaders have signed them up to support a mini-Cultural Revolution”, Tettenborn notes that there is “more than a whiff of totalitarianism” about the treaty’s requirements.

All in all, exactly as Prof Tettenborn said above: just another thinly-veiled assault on traditional Western values, the institution of marriage, and cultural stability by the Destroyer Left. Repeat after me, everybody: They will not stop. They will NEVER stop. They will have to BE stopped. That is all.

The laws will be enforced—one way or another

Vigilante justice is the last desperate resort of a civilization backed into a corner by rampant, implacable liberal degeneracy.

William Smith, 28, was discovered in the early hours of Tuesday morning, decapitated and slumped against the front door of the judge who had granted him bail in August.

Smith was arrested last month following allegations by his then girlfriend that he had raped her 8-year-old daughter.

After a police investigation in which Smith was found in possession of child pornography, he was arrested on two counts related to child pornography and one count of child molestation.

After being charged, Smith walked free from the court after the judge controversially ruled that he did not pose a threat to the local community, and he raised the $30,000 bail required to trigger his freedom.

The alleged victim’s family said they were “shocked” that Smith had been allowed to walk free from court.

Smith was awaiting trial for his crimes and was awaiting a court date which was due to be scheduled for later this year, however it seems that somebody from the local  community decided to take matters into their own hands. The judge, whose name has been withheld, was woken at around 3am by his “frenzied” barking dog. When he went outside to find out what his dog was barking about, he found the decapitated body of the man he had allowed to walk free slumped against his front door with the severed head left on the steps.

A local resident said of the horrific discovery that finding a headless body was an “unusual” occurrence: “This is a nice area. This is the kind of thing that usually happens in mob films, but not around here.”

Could be that’s the real problem here, then. Because I can guaran-gott-damned-tee you one thing at least: it wasn’t the first time this monster had committed such an atrocity against an innocent child…but it will certainly be the last.

If this turn-’em-loose-Bruce judge refuses to learn the obvious lesson from this episode and continues to blandly unleash quasi-human abominations on the general citizenry to wreak havoc as they will upon them—a citizenry who just proved themselves to be not quite so helpless as Hizzoner had assumed, saints be praised—then perhaps the next decapitated corpse found propped adjacent to somebody’s front door should be his own. Pour encourager les autres, don’tchaknow.

Update! Expect a lot more vigilantism, coming soon to a burning city near you.

Seattle police call it quits. What’s next? Vigilantism
Something will fill the vacuum left by police, and it seems doubtful the left will like the results.

University of Tennessee law Prof. Glenn Reynolds wrote in June about the absence of police:

We’ll see a lot of vigilante justice. And what are people gonna do about it? Call the cops? Remember, in the end the police aren’t there to protect the public from criminals, they’re there to protect criminals from the public. Communities dealt with crime long before police were invented, usually in rather harsh and low-due-process ways. The bargain was, let the police handle it instead. No police, no bargain.

Get ready, folks. Major parts of the country are about to descend to the level of the Wild Wild West.

Ordinary, decent, right-thinking folks have a lot of forebearance, and will put up with a heck of a lot. But their forebearance is not without limit. Methinks the Left hasn’t really thought this whole thing through.

Fake news update! As SteveF points out to my tremendous disappointment, the first linked article is labeled as “satire” at the bottom of the page. Too bad.

Resist we much!

Signs and portents—encouraging ones.

One such example is the police department in the town of Marshall, Arkansas. Despite Governor Asa Hutchinson (R-Ark.) officially signing an order forcing civilians across the state to wear masks, Police Chief Lang Holland has said that his officers will not force anyone to do so, nor will they wear masks themselves.

Chief Holland said that people “have the freedom to choose” whether or not they wear a mask, and that such a move “should not be dictated by the nanny state.”

A similar example, also located in Arkansas, is found in Lonoke County. There, Sheriff John Staley said that while he agrees with Governor Hutchinson’s mask decision, his department will not “be out writing tickets for masks,” primarily because they simply do not have the manpower needed to enforce such an arbitrary rule.

Similar acts of civil rebellion by police forces have occurred in Texas, Montana, and Alabama, among other states.

Good on ya, fellas, with three groans and a moist fart for Lonoke’s Staley for doing the right thing for the wrong reason. It’s only a bare handful of PD’s and states at this point, but it’s a start.

The feel-good video of the year

“DO! YOU! UNDER! STAND! ME!!” Bet he does now, the weedy little punk-ass bitch.

The rib-rocking thud as the undernourished twerp’s back makes contact with the sidewalk—HARD—is one of the most gratifying sounds I think I’ve ever heard. Somehow, I picture the black guy wearing a black Marine BDU cap pulled low and tight over his eyes, and answering exclusively to either “Gunny,” “Senior Chief,” or most likely “YESSIRMRDRILLINSTRUCTORSIR!!!”

Whichever it is, if the PantiFa Nazis had experienced a lot more of what the Gunny was dishing out back when they were growing up and it would’ve done ’em some good, America would look one hell of a lot different right now.

Defend your home, go to prison

Anybody out there who didn’t see this coming?

As we reported earlier, in a very disturbing move, Mark and Patricia McCloskey, who displayed guns on their property to defend themselves from a huge group of BLM protesters, had a warrant served on them and had the AR-15 Mark McCloskey displayed in that incident seized.

It’s not yet clear why the weapon was seized and there have been no charges lodged against the couple.

People who care about the Constitution were very troubled by the action against the McCloskeys.

As attorney Harmeet K. Dhillon explained, “Missouri is a Castle Doctrine state, permitted among the broadest latitudes of any state in using even deadly force to protect yourself or your property. This couple used NO force, despite the imminent threat from a trespassing mob. The seizure of weapons is government overreach.”

I appreciate the courage it took to make a statement like this under the circumstances, really I do. But this goes way, WAY beyond mere “government overreach.” This is thuggish revenge-seeking by a petty little dimestore dictator, for one thing. But to put the thing more directly: this is tyranny, straight up. No more, no less.

Because the couple dared to defend themselves, about 300 protesters then came back on Friday, screaming and harassing the couple again. This time, the McCloskeys had private security backing them up on their balcony.

Why wouldn’t the mob return to threaten, harrass, and terrorize these poor people again? They’re aware now that they have the sanction and support of local authority, total carte blanche to do whatever they like.

Really, though, why would any of the rioters, looters, and violent savages all across America stop the mayhem? Their every demand is being met, their every desire satisfied. People are taking the knee, washing the feet, apologizing, groveling, and generally abasing themselves at the rioters’ direction. Those few of them who DO get arrested are quickly cut loose, to go out and do the same thing all over again.

Meanwhile, a perfectly peaceable and innocuous couple defend their home and their very lives—in perfectly legal fashion, guilty only of exercising the “rights” supposedly guaranteed them by the Second Amendment of the US Constitution, mind— against a demonstrably violent, aggressive mob…only to have their legally-owned property stripped from them, left defenseless by the order of a slightly more subtle brand of thug.

Ahh, but there’s somewhat of a happy ending here, thanks to the heroic Real Americans at local gun shop Alien Armory Tactical, who grok what it’s really all about:

( IF ANYONE KNOWS THE ST.LOUIS COUPLE PLEASE PASS THIS POST ALONG TO THEM ) Let me say this to all the St.Louis city cops. You should of protested serving this warrant! This couple did what they needed to do to protect private property as the property was being ambushed. I’ve seen videos and some of these so called protesters were carrying firearms and they clearly broke the gate to make way on to the private property ( A THREAT ) To the couple that had this warrant served, please come on by our shop and we will gladly rearm you with a brand new ar15 for ( FREE ) thats right if you see this post contact our page and we will gladly assist you with a replacement for you to protect your private property for FREE! Also we will assist you with some FREE firearms training so if anything were to happen you will be better prepared, we will take you with your brand new ar15 and show you how to be better prepared! Bless their hearts. Oh, and lest anybody wonder about what or who might be putting wholly despicable Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner, the putrescence responsible for the ongoing government persecution of the McCloskeys, up to it:

Gardener received funding in her run for the job from George Soros. Soros has helped back people for district attorney/prosecutor positions across the country to help transform the criminal justice system.

Ol’ George sure knows how to get his money’s worth, don’t he? When he buys a scumbag-Left politician, by God they STAY bought.

Update! This may not seem so heroic, perhaps. But given the overall shitty climate these days, I’d say it still counts.

Five Guys employees in Daphne, Ala., who reportedly denied three police officers service have been fired or suspended, the restaurant said.

“Five Guys and the Daphne, AL franchise want to thank the Daphne Police Department for their support in working together toward a resolution,” Five Guys said in a statement Friday. “The actions the Daphne, AL franchise have taken include termination and suspension of the employees involved.”

A local Fox 10 news outlet reported that police officers were refused service Tuesday night by several Five Guys employees.

The officers claim that six or seven employees in the establishment turned their backs on the officers as they entered the restaurant chain. One officer reportedly heard an employee say, “I’m not serving them.”

The officers then left and went to another restaurant.

“The Daphne Police Department appreciates the outpouring of support from our community and from supporters of Law Enforcement across the country,” Daphne Police said in a statement earlier this week. “We also want to thank Five Guys on a corporate and local level.”

Five Guys has the best french fries on earth, bar none. After this, I plan to be eating a lot more of ’em.

It ain’t over till the fat transgender nonbinary wymrynzzz screams

It’s always hard to excerpt one of John Wilder’s pieces. There’s just too much rich, thoughtful stuff in ’em to trim it down without losing the thread. But there are times when you just gotta buckle down and do it.

Can you imagine if the Right was united? I can.

The corollary is obvious: quit fighting each other in the right. Stop. People don’t believe in your exact brand?

You can’t stand Libertarians? You can’t stand Lutherans? Baptists? Catholics? Vox Day? That atheist friend that doesn’t mind Christianity but still believes in freedom? The idea to fix our situation isn’t exactly yours?

Too bad.

We are in the same foxhole. Stop (metaphorically) shooting each other. Now. If you’re not with us, you’re against us. And if you’re fighting us, you’re against us.

How do you know if you’re with us?

  • We like building statues, not tearing them down.
  • We like building civilization, not tearing it apart.
  • We like the reason of facts and truth, not the politically correct statement of the moment.
  • We like justice based on law, not the social justice of the mob or judges that twist “shall not” into “sometimes.”
  • We like a culture of honor, not a culture of victimhood due to the self-imposed prison.

And that is the difference. The Left is bitter. The Left is seething. The Left is angry.

Why? Because, just like the foal with the cattle guard, they’ve made themselves prisoners. They’ve forgotten that becoming a prisoner might not be a choice for a horse, but it is for a person. But for the Left, that prison mentality is preferred.

The prison mentality is the chosen mentality of the Left. They see themselves as weak. Since they see themselves as weak, there is no choice but to hate themselves for that weakness. But outwardly, the Left rationalizes that weakness as being, somehow, good. They have to, because that’s all that stands between them and the unending self-hate. The Left raises an “anything goes” sexuality and sensuality to the highest plane because they are rooted in the Material, and cannot understand the Spiritual, the Transcendent.

The Right rejects that. All of it.

The Right is not evil. We hold the light of Freedom, of civilization, of the future of mankind in our hands. Why? Because they could never build it. The Left seeks to delegitimize our moral achievement, because they feel small and envious next to those that compete and create.

Remember, the Soviets never looked stronger than they did immediately before they collapsed.

I don’t think we will win.

I know we will win.

Not if we don’t recognize that we are indeed going to have to fight them, we won’t. And it looks more every day as if that’s going to mean actual, literal fighting, with more than just words, boycotts, and votes. But as pessimistic as I can be at times, actually I’m mostly inclined to agree with John’s take, providing the Sleeping Giant hasn’t been too slow to awaken this time. His post is certainly stirring, and heartening. A bit more:

I feel sorry for those who stand against the Right when we find our backs are to the wall. We have created the most powerful and free and prosperous culture in history. The Right doesn’t know its own strength. But it will learn, and the Left is afraid.

We will win. Maybe not this year. Maybe not next year. Maybe not even in the next decade. And the future won’t look like the past – that past is what led us to this crisis. We have the opportunity to remake our civilization, to remake America and to make it better.

And we will make it better.

And we will win.

We always have.

Oh, I can’t say I feel at all sorry for them, myself. I want them to reap exactly what they’ve sown, to get what they truly deserve, to be punished for their innumerable crimes, to pay in full measure for what they’ve done to this nation and the world. And like Wilder, I have to believe that, be it soon or late, they will. To think otherwise is to sink into a slough of despond that is bottomless.

More, please

Trump has made a few righteous moves the past week or so. This would be one of ’em.

The White House announced Friday that President Trump signed an Executive Grant of Clemency commuting the “unjust sentence” of Roger Stone, just days before the longtime political operative was slated to report to prison to serve more than three years for charges stemming from former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.

In a lengthy statement released late Friday, White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said the president had made the decision to commute Stone’s sentence “in light of the egregious facts and circumstances surrounding his unfair prosecution, arrest, and trial.”
“Roger Stone is a victim of the Russia Hoax that the Left and its allies in the media perpetuated for years in an attempt to undermine the Trump Presidency,” McEnany said in a statement Friday night. “There was never any collusion between the Trump Campaign, or the Trump Administration, with Russia.  Such collusion was never anything other than a fantasy of partisans unable to accept the result of the 2016 election.  The collusion delusion spawned endless and farcical investigations, conducted at great taxpayer expense, looking for evidence that did not exist.”

McEnany added that Mueller’s office “resorted to process-based charges leveled at high-profile people in an attempt to manufacture the false impression of criminality lurking below the surface.”

“These charges were the product of recklessness borne of frustration and malice,” she said.

McEnany had more to say yet, bless her heart, all of it good, good stuff. For myself, I’ll just repeat yet again what I’ve said for who knows how long now: yes, the malignant Left will scream bloody murder over this. So fucking what?!? They’re going to do that anyway, no matter what Trump does. So goddammit, just do what you were elected to do, Mr Preznit, and damn their eyes all to hell and gone.

What they did to Stone was a travesty. Springing the man ought to be only the first step in the process of correcting that injustice. Everyone involved in the raid, the “trial,” the sentencing, and the persecution since ought to be made to pay, and pay heavily. If they’re gonna scream anyway—and they are—the pond scum by God oughta be given something to really scream about. Spill blood first, worry about cleaning up after.

Update! And right on cue.

Wait, you mean the “exploitation of the Russian hack” you tried—and failed—to have him removed from office over, you worthless, lying, piece-of-shit con artist? Die screaming in agony, pusnuts. Five minutes ago wouldn’t be soon enough to suit me.

Fruit from a toxic tree update! I didn’t expect Sarah Huckabee-Sanders to be topped. I was selling Kayleigh short.

“Roger Stone is a victim of the Russia Hoax that the Left and its allies in the media perpetuated for years in an attempt to undermine the Trump Presidency,” White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said in a statement Friday night.

According to McEnany, Mueller and his team “resorted to process-based charges leveled at high-profile people in an attempt to manufacture the false impression of criminality lurking below the surface.”

“These charges were the product of recklessness borne of frustration and malice,” she added.

Bang. And also: zoom. But what did I say before about the Left having a shitfit?

Aside from the bogus origins of the investigation that led to Stone’s prosecution, one of the jurors, who served as foreperson on the jury during his trial, Tomeka Hart, apparently lied about her anti-Trump biases in order to get on the jury. Hart was a former Democratic congressional candidate, whose social media was full of anti-Trump sentiment.

Nevertheless, the left is freaking out.

“Donald Trump has abandoned the rule of law and made a mockery of our democracy. He truly is the most corrupt president in history,” tweeted Elizabeth Warren.

“There are no limits. This President will do anything and everything to flaunt the law,” echoed Amy Klobuchar.

“Does @realDonaldTrump’s corrupt commutation of Roger Stone piss you off?” asked Congressman Ted Lieu. “Then take your anger and put it to good use.”

But Stephen King really hit it out of the park by referring to Trump as “Orange Man.” “Trump has commuted Roger Stone’s 40-month sentence. Every time you think the Orange Man has hit the gutter, he bounces lower.”

Right back atcha, you suppurating pustule. You, and all the rest of your scum-sucking Lefty pals.

Clearly, these sub-normals inhabit some sort of inside-out Bizarro World. Anybody still think they can be reasoned with, compromised with? Or that it’s worth the bother to even try?

Independence Day, or something like it

This is gonna be a long ‘un for sure, with some twists and turns y’all might find surprising. I’ll probably still only manage to get around to a fraction of all the things I want to say even so, and I’m thinking I’ll just go ahead and dump half of it below the fold under the “More” link.

First off, a real gem from the inimitable John Wilder.

Boston, Massachusetts: 122 killed, 211 wounded in a daybreak raid by troops sent to confiscate privately owned weapons and ammunition. “Patriots” claim government troops fired first.

It has been reported that at dawn a group of self-styled “Patriots” engaged a heavily armed troops sent to confiscate guns and ammunition. These “Patriots” though initially outnumbered, stood by the side of the road, fully armed with modern assault weapons at the ready. The “Patriot” leader at the site, John Parker, claims to have been only standing there with the other “Patriots”. It has reported that Parker said, “Stand your ground. Don’t fire unless fired upon. But if they mean to have a war, let it begin here.”

According to Parker, the soldiers ordered the “Patriots” to disperse, and he ordered his men to “disburse and go home,” but “the soldiers were yelling,” and there was confusion. There was a shot, fired, but both the “Patriots” and the spokesman for the troops claim the other side fired the first shot. Badly outnumbered at first, the “Patriots” were reinforced by the local members of their radical libertarian movement as the firefight wore on. House-to-house fighting was reported.

Sources to this blog have indicated that the “Patriots” had been tipped off to the troop movements and were aware the gun confiscation was coming. The troops were forced to withdraw under fire, although rescue from a larger detachment of troops from Boston was required for their safe evacuation.

A local lawyer, John Adams, viewed the battlefield the next day, “The die was cast. The Rubicon crossed.” Pressed by this blog for an explanation of these cryptic comments, he referred us to our previous post (American Caesar: Coming Soon To A Country Near You?).

The events listed above happened 245 years ago, except John Adams being snarky to me, yet somehow the concepts behind them are fresh in American life in 2020. The battles of Lexington and Concord, though small by today’s standards, produced the “shot heard ‘round the world” as the American Dream and American Identity were formed.

Why yes, you WILL want to read the rest, why do you ask? John’s closing question is piercing; its pertinence is everlasting, and will never fade.

Next, via Ed Driscoll, a 4th of July speech from the greatest President America ever had, or ever will have.

It was not because it was proposed to establish a new nation, but because it was proposed to establish a nation on new principles, that July 4, 1776, has come to be regarded as one of the greatest days in history. Great ideas do not burst upon the world unannounced. They are reached by a gradual development over a length of time usually proportionate to their importance. This is especially true of the principles laid down in the Declaration of Independence. Three very definite propositions were set out in its preamble regarding the nature of mankind and therefore of government. These were the doctrine that all men are created equal, that they are endowed with certain inalienable rights, and that therefore the source of the just powers of government must be derived from the consent of the governed.

Placing every man on a plane where he acknowledged no superiors, where no one possessed any right to rule over him, he must inevitably choose his own rulers through a system of self-government. This was their theory of democracy. In those days such doctrines would scarcely have been permitted to flourish and spread in any other country. This was the purpose which the fathers cherished. In order that they might have freedom to express these thoughts and opportunity to put them into action, whole congregations with their pastors had migrated to the Colonies. These great truths were in the air that our people breathed. Whatever else we may say of it, the Declaration of Independence was profoundly American.

If this apprehension of the facts be correct, and the documentary evidence would appear to verify it, then certain conclusions are bound to follow. A spring will cease to flow if its source be dried up; a tree will wither if its roots be destroyed. In its main features the Declaration of Independence is a great spiritual document. It is a declaration not of material but of spiritual conceptions. Equality, liberty, popular sovereignty, the rights of man — these are not elements which we can see and touch. They are ideals. They have their source and their roots in the religious convictions. They belong to the unseen world. Unless the faith of the American people in these religious convictions is to endure, the principles of our Declaration will perish. We can not continue to enjoy the result if we neglect and abandon the cause.

We are too prone to overlook another conclusion. Governments do not make ideals, but ideals make governments. This is both historically and logically true. Of course the government can help to sustain ideals and can create institutions through which they can be the better observed, but their source by their very nature is in the people. The people have to bear their own responsibilities. There is no method by which that burden can be shifted to the government. It is not the enactment, but the observance of laws, that creates the character of a nation.

About the Declaration there is a finality that is exceedingly restful. It is often asserted that the world has made a great deal of progress since 1776, that we have had new thoughts and new experiences which have given us a great advance over the people of that day, and that we may therefore very well discard their conclusions for something more modern. But that reasoning can not be applied to this great charter. If all men are created equal, that is final. If they are endowed with inalienable rights, that is final. If governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, that is final. No advance, no progress can be made beyond these propositions. If anyone wishes to deny their truth or their soundness, the only direction in which he can proceed historically is not forward, but backward toward the time when there was no equality, no rights of the individual, no rule of the people. Those who wish to proceed in that direction can not lay claim to progress. They are reactionary. Their ideas are not more modern, but more ancient, than those of the Revolutionary fathers.

Under a system of popular government there will always be those who will seek for political preferment by clamoring for reform. While there is very little of this which is not sincere, there is a large portion that is not well informed. In my opinion very little of just criticism can attach to the theories and principles of our institutions. There is far more danger of harm than there is hope of good in any radical changes. We do need a better understanding and comprehension of them and a better knowledge of the foundations of government in general. Our forefathers came to certain conclusions and decided upon certain courses of action which have been a great blessing to the world. Before we can understand their conclusions we must go back and review the course which they followed. We must think the thoughts which they thought.

A wonderful, insightful speech that, to those among us of a certain raddled decrepitude, probably sounds at least somewhat familiar. But then, we old fogies came up in a time when Civics was still a class taught in the schools.

As beautiful, as uplifting as Coolidge’s speech most certainly is, however, it is also profoundly depressing—downright heartbreaking, in fact, when you contemplate how very much we’ve either allowed to be stolen from us or just flat given away with nary a thought.
