I will not comply

And you Vaxx Nazis can go fuck yourselves.

Bloomberg Columnist: We May Have To Force People To Get Vaccinated

You can try, certainly. Let’s see how that works out for you in the end.

So much for “my body, my choice.” The authoritarianism of Michael Bloomberg and his flunkies is on full display in a new column at the anti-gun billionaire’s personal news network, where columnist Clara Ferreira Marques argues that personal choice and responsibility should take a back seat to government coercion and brute force when it comes to vaccines.

Sticking a needle in people’s arms against their will may be “unpalatable,” says Marques, but that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t happen if large numbers of Americans refuse to get a COVID-19 vaccine on their own.

Full compulsion — which implies fines or even prison, as opposed to simply not getting a benefit or public service — isn’t easily embraced. For me, that’s less because of arguments around personal liberty than because of the deep polarization in many societies, including the U.S., that would only worsen with such an approach. More importantly, some reasons deterring people from vaccinations — distrust of health or political authorities, or more pressing medical or shelter problems — deserve to be tackled, not papered over.

Why am I not shocked that the argument around personal liberty isn’t compelling to a Bloomberg lackey like Marques?

Seeing as how the authoritarian Left is not only indifferent to personal liberty but actively, virulently hostile to it, how shocked could anybody be? JD Rucker calls it a cult.

The mentality surrounding the Covid-19 vaccines is unlike anything we’ve ever seen. On one level, it’s easy to understand why people would be willing to do just about anything to relieve their fear, financial distress, emotional hardships, and longing for normalcy. On the other hand, why are so many who claim to “follow the science” willing to ignore the science behind these injections?

What we’re seeing is the rise of the Vaccine Cultists. They have made it part of their daily lives to “do their part” in making sure every human being on the planet is injected with a Covid-19 vaccine of some sort. From their perspective, it’s all about making it ubiquitous.

Let’s make a clear delineation between “Vaccine Cultists” and basic pro-vaxxers. If you got your shots and you’re going about your business feeling secure that you’re protected, not worrying about whether others around you are also vaccinated, you’re just a basic pro-vaxxer and while I disagree with your choice, I hold no ill feelings towards you.

If you’re out there promoting the vaccines, begging or demanding friends and family get theirs, asking people who are in close proximity to you if they’ve been vaccinated, calling on your workplace to mandate vaccines, going on social media to attack Covid-vaccine-skeptics, or getting tattoos to commemorate your inoculation date, then you’re a Vaccine Cultist.

To be clear, I’m not an anti-vaxxer per se. I believe in the science behind vaccines and while I’ve chosen to generally avoid them, you won’t find me out there saying much about it before 2021. I’ve always been a vaccine-freedom guy. If you want your vaccine, take your vaccine. If you don’t want it, don’t take it. But the rise of the massive propaganda campaign to get as many people injected as possible combined with the inception of the Vaccine Cult have turned me into a vocal opponent of the Covid vaccines altogether. As many have tried to say repeatedly, these “vaccines” are completely different from anything that has ever been mass distributed in the world. Dr. Sherri Tenpenny lambasted me for calling them “vaccines” at all, and she’s right. They’re simply not, though Merriam-Webster Dictionary tried hard to make them so.

I’m also not one who thinks Covid-19 is just a bad flu. I do believe it is very dangerous for the elderly and those with major health issues. I also know that there are otherwise healthy people who were hit hard by Covid-19; my kid’s doctor said he felt like a freight train hit him for a week. I do not downplay the disease other than to note that for children and young adults, the chances of it being fatal are minimal.

JD goes quite a bit further out of his way than I consider absolutely necessary in order to present his thoughts in a calm, reasonable fashion. For my own part, I ain’t gonna bother. It’s like this:

Never

Just you come and get me, you filthy bastards—if you think you’re big enough, and can round up enough help. I solemnly promise you that I won’t be taken down easily…and that I DO NOT consider violent resistance to be off the table.

Update! Only just saw that I forgot to include a link to the JD Rucker piece, which can be found here. Apologies to all for the omission.

Gloves: take ’em OFF

Kill ’em all. God will surely know His own.

It is time to put paid once and for all to the evil terror organizations Hamas and Islamic Jihad that have been attacking the heartland of Israel virtually ever since Israel freely gave Gaza to the Palestinians, first to the Palestinian Authority and then to Hamas after they murdered the PA officials in a mini-civil war and took over the territory as a fanatical dictatorship.

Every few years Hamas (and their now-billionaire leadership) seizes on something, some issue on the Temple Mount, a neighborhood where, in their view, too many Jews are moving in, and start a missile barrage, aiming to hit as many innocent civilians as possible and ignite the “Arab street.”

The current barrage, thanks largely to Iran, is the biggest ever, with modern weapons that can reach the entire Jewish state with significant payloads.

Several times the Israel Defense Force has been constrained to enter Gaza to put a stop to these barrages.

That appears to be happening again now.

Well, DUH. A Democrat-Socialist junta is in power here again, and the Muzzrats know very well whose side that crime syndicate masquerading as a legitimate US political party is firmly and fully on in the ME.

Whatever the case—this time they should finish the job. Finally.

They shouldn’t listen to the United States or anybody.

It’s too bad that life in the region had been improving so dramatically for all—Arabs and Jews—while the dreaded orange-haired man was in office, and almost the moment Joe Biden replaced him, things went immediately South, like everything else. (Was Hamas waiting for this? Probably.)

But recent as that was, that was then and this is now. We can’t be nostalgic, tempting as it is.

I didn’t always feel this way. I supported negotiation and a two-state solution, even when it became apparent, unless your head was buried so deep in the ground it was coming out the other side, that the Palestinians had no interest in one. I also wanted the Israeli army to show “restraint,” at least to the degree possible.

No longer. I don’t care how polite the Israeli armed forces are now. I only care that they win.

No mercy, this time. Full Dresden—or enough Dresden for them to know for once you’re very serious, desperately wave the white flag and disarm the way Germany and Japan did.

Agreed, wholeheartedly. Let American Jooo!-haterz both Right and Left cavil and kvetch to their hearts’ content, I don’t care. This is and always has been a struggle between civilization and primordial savagery—nothing more, nothing less. The Paleosimians have no rightful claim on the territory once called Judea, which was the Jewish homeland for oh, around three thousand years or thereabouts, up until a passel of uppity Jordanian-Arab camel-humpers decided to claim squatters’ rights in the name of almighty Allah (Piss Be Upon Him) and enstupidated Western shitlibs fell all over themselves to back that arrant horseshit.

Israelis have endured living cheek-by-jowl with barbaric, genocidal swine much longer than compassion, human decency, or even simple pity demands of them. No other nation would have put up with it, nor should they. Enough already. Let Israel deal with the bloody-minded Moslem enemy harshly, with utter ruthlessness—the selfsame ruthlessness the so-called “Palestinians” have demonstrated against Israel—keeping the goal of permanently abolishing this intolerable, subhuman menace foremost in mind. The entire world will be a better place for it.

Common enemies update! Quelle shock.

Los Angeles, CA — News outlets in California were reporting about hundreds marching in “solidarity with Palestine” amid the ongoing violence in the Middle East. They shared photos of these “protesters” waving flags and continued to push the anti-Israel agenda of the radical left and the mainstream media.

What they did not report, however, was the involvement of Antifa. Video coming from Los Angeles shows Antifa flags present in the demonstrations as well. Antifa members were blocking a California Highway Patrol vehicle that was attempting to leave, refusing to move and allow the officer to leave. After he pushed through the Antifa members, they started to give chase toward the vehicle and another officer.

By their enemies shall ye know them. We can only hope that at least a handful of PantiFags will haul it on over to Gaza only to wind up getting their flea-bitten asses Rachel Corrie’d. T’is a consummation devoutly to be wished.

Moral clarity update! Right, wrong, and how to tell who is which.

Nationally syndicated radio host Dennis Prager has often observed that if the Israelis were to lay down their guns, Israel would be destroyed tomorrow, but if the Palestinians were to lay down their guns, there would be peace tomorrow. It has always been thus.

When it comes to some contentious issues, dogmatic ideology or blind zeal can prevent reasonable people from assessing a situation through the lens of prudence, which Aristotle recognized as the queen of the virtues. But this does not apply to the plight in the Levant — to the Palestinians’ century-long civilizational jihad to destroy the world’s sole Jewish state. In this latest round of recriminations and escalations, there is a side that is in the right and a side that is in the wrong.

Israel, a first-world nation-state and global technological hub with ascendant geopolitical and diplomatic clout, is in the right to exercise its sovereign right to defend itself from the predations of a thuggish Palestinian Authority and a genocidal Muslim Brotherhood offshoot; Ramallah’s deceitful inciters of Temple Mount jihad and nationwide anti-Jewish pogroms, along with Hamas’ murderous petty tyrants, are in the wrong. To anyone with a functioning moral compass, this stark dichotomy ought to be intuitive and obvious.

Alas, this past week has highlighted just how utterly depraved the leftist moral compass actually is. Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., a longstanding anti-Semite and co-founder of House Democrats’ de facto Hamas Caucus, outrageously tweeted that Israeli air strikes in Gaza against military targets amounted to “act(s) of terrorism.” Omar’s partner in crime and Hamas Caucus co-founder Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., joined in the intersectional fun, opining, “What they are doing to the Palestinian people is what they continue to do to our Black brothers and sisters here” in the U.S.

Ben Rhodes, the failed novelist-turned-former Obama staffer who attained outsized notoriety in foisting the vile Iran nuclear deal upon an American polity that rightfully opposed it, seized the moment not to stand in solidarity with our Israeli allies but to openly muse what the world looks like “through the eyes of a Palestinian child.” Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, meanwhile, saw no apparent contradiction in maintaining his permanent ban of former President Donald Trump while imposing a mere 12-hour suspension on Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh for celebrating the “bombing of Tel Aviv,” and providing a platform for blue-checked Hitler nostalgia to percolate.

President Joe Biden took a very long time to issue a mealy-mouthed statement defending Israel’s “right to defend itself” — a patronizing talking point that would never be trotted out about any other sovereign nation in the world. And a galling percentage of elected Democratic senators and congressmen, more generally, droned on about the need for Israel to exercise restraint while studiously avoiding any condemnation whatsoever of Hamas.

The American left and the media organs it controls are exporting their paroxysms of “1619 Project” rage onto a foreign stage, expiating their “white guilt” sins and armchair-quarterbacking a foreign conflict on a cosplayed chess board. In this perverse cosplay, Israel (whose Jewish population is plurality-Mizrahi, meaning of Middle Eastern, non-European descent) is the “white” Derek Chauvin; Hamas is the “brown” George Floyd. And the left will not let facts or rudimentary morality get in the way of this preferred woke narrative, even if it means increasing willingness to openly side with a terrorist group.

Throw in the Murdering Mooselimbs of Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, &c as well, and it becomes readily apparent that hating on DEM JOOOOOZ!!!™ effectively puts one on the same side as all sorts of truly unsavory types.

God bless Texas Tennessee?

There’s only one way out of the Branch Covidian dystopian nightmare: stark, unyielding defiance.

FRANKLIN, Tenn. — Amid a nonprofit group’s lawsuit against Republican Gov. Bill Lee alleging his coronavirus restrictions were unconstitutional, the group is putting up billboards to encourage residents to return to normal.

Tennessee Stands, a conservative group with offices across the state, started the initiative in Johnson City and put up additional billboards in Bristol and Kingsport. The billboards read, “Your Compliance is prolonging this nightmare. Ditch the mask.”

Tri-City Director Danielle Goodrich led the effort in the three cities. She founded the group Johnson City Freedom to try and get kids in person for school during the pandemic. Goodrich also took issue with schools eventually requiring students to mask up upon reopening. She told The Federalist that Americans should not have to “bow down to these absurd, slavish, and oppressive rules, which the government doesn’t have the authority to do.”

“The government can’t tell you not to work,” Goodrich said. “You need to eat. These are unalienable rights. The government’s only purpose is to uphold and protect the unalienable rights of the people, not to infringe upon them.”

Tennessee Stands takes issue with Lee’s COVID response. Hundreds of volunteers are working on the billboard project. One is Angela Grgic, a resident of Columbia who joked her last name would look like a typo. She joined the initiative because the government’s response “didn’t feel right.”

“It seemed like my rights — my constitutional rights — were being taken away from me without my permission,” Grgic said in an interview. “It just didn’t feel right. So some friends and I got together and we were talking about it a lot. We found Gary and Tennessee Stands. We started watching videos and doing more research. We started realizing, ‘Man, why are we complying? Why are we just going along with this because everybody else is?’ We just started pushing back.”

Two Johnston City volunteers concurred with Grgic, and told The Federalist masks have become a political tool. Dr. Denise Sibley, M.D., said masks are “a symbol of control rather than they are a medical intervention.” She has lived in Johnson City for 31 years.

“This is all part of COVID theatre,” Sibley said. “So, if you want to wear it for your theatre, that’s fine. But don’t make everyone else see a new show.”

Good on all these fine Americans, and Godspeed to them. Bottom line:

“I hope this encourages people that are tired of complying with arbitrary rules that there are other people like them,” said Humble. “If we all just stop doing this tomorrow, it ends. The only power these people have is our compliance. It’s the simple principle of the consent of the governed. We’re consenting to unconstitutional government.”

How heartening it is to know that, even today, there are still some folks out there in this stricken land who truly do get it.

French redemption

Vive la résistance!

A group of active French military personnel has published a new open letter to the country’s president Emmanuel Macron, warning him of a “civil war” brewing in the country after all the “concessions” he’s made to Islamism.

The letter, published in the conservative Valeurs Actuelles magazine late on Sunday, strikes a similar tone to the message published by the same outlet last month. Unlike the previous one, which was signed by 25 retired generals and active-duty soldiers, the new letter is anonymous and is open for signing by the general public. As of noon on Monday, it had attracted over 100,000 signatures.

The authors of the letter have described themselves as active-duty French soldiers, belonging to the younger generation of the military that saw actual combat over the past years.

An excerpt from this latest…well, call it a warning order:

Our seniors are fighters who deserve to be respected. These are for example the old soldiers whose honor you have trampled on in recent weeks. It is these thousands of servants of France, signatories of a platform of common sense, soldiers who gave their best years to defend our freedom, obeying your orders, to wage your wars or to implement your budget restrictions. , which you soiled while the people of France supported them.

These people who fought against all the enemies of France, you have treated them as factious when their only fault is to love their country and to mourn its visible downfall.

Under these conditions, it is up to us, who have recently entered the career, to enter the arena simply to have the honor of telling the truth.

We are what the newspapers have called “the fire generation”. Men and women, active soldiers, of all armies and of all ranks, of all sensibilities, we love our country. These are our only claims to fame. And if we cannot, by law, express ourselves with our face uncovered, it is just as impossible for us to be silent.

Afghanistan, Mali, the Central African Republic or elsewhere, a number of us have experienced enemy fire. Some have left comrades there. They offered their skin to destroy the Islamism to which you are making concessions on our soil.

Almost all of us have known Operation Sentinel. We saw with our own eyes the abandoned suburbs, the accommodation with delinquency. We have undergone the attempts to instrumentalize several religious communities, for whom France means nothing – nothing but an object of sarcasm, contempt or even hatred.

We marched on July 14th. And this benevolent and diverse crowd, which acclaimed us because we are the emanation of it, we were asked to beware of it for months, by forbidding us to circulate in uniform, by making us potential victims, on a soil that we are nevertheless capable of defending.

Cowardice, deceit, perversion: such is not our vision of the hierarchy. On the contrary, the army is, par excellence, the place where we speak truthfully to each other because we commit our lives. It is this confidence in the military institution that we call for.

Yes, if a civil war breaks out, the army will maintain order on its own soil, because it will be asked to. It is even the definition of civil war. No one can want such a terrible situation, our elders no more than us, but yes, again, civil war is brewing in France and you know it perfectly well.

Strong words indeed, and entirely righteous ones. As of this morning the letter had been co-signed by more than 229,000 valiant Frenchmen, bless them.

Also attached to the WRSA post from whence this came is Buppert’s timely reminder to not underestimate the courage or ability of the French soldiery, and he ain’t wrong about that. Back in the days when Cousin Regbo was posting here regularly, I was in the habit myself of making sport of Gallic military derring-do. Reggie—a career USN fighter jock who spent a year flying the Dassault Super Étendard off the French carrier Foch as an exchange officer—upbraided me on the regular about my ill-informed disdain, insisting that the sailors and flyboys he had served with on the Foch were among the toughest and most ferocious warriors he knew of anywhere on Earth.

Then again, though, Reg wound up marrying not one but two (2) French femmes before all was said and done, so he might’ve been just a wee mite biased in favor of the Frogs generally. Whatever the case, kudos and a toss of the ol’ beret to the French soldiery for daring to step up and speak truth to Power at last. Their caution about interjecting themselves in their country’s political affairs is both becoming and proper, and speaks quite well of their professionalism and patriotism. We must all hope and pray that they haven’t waited until it was too late.

Punk’s not dead, oh no!

Its spirit of rebellion, iconoclasm, and just plain orneriness, apparently, lives on in some quarters.

Former lead singer and primary songwriter of the legendary punk band the Misfits, Michale Graves, is hosting a patriotic talk and music podcast — and it is a must listen.

His show, Radio Deadly with Michale Graves, is described as “an unconventional talk show that fuses patriotic politics with punk rock set in a format that calls back to the classic days of talk/music radio.”

Speaking to the Gateway Pundit, Graves said that he is trying to create a variety show, bringing together culture and intellectual discussions about the things that matter.

Graves explained that he is also trying to add in comedy and humor with a hilarious woke-puppet named “Grimple Graves” that lectures the musician for his problematic wrongthink.

“I’m trying to bring a sense of comedy to the show. I really think that it’s important, as we go through what we’re going through, that we remember to laugh and create things that make us laugh and smile,” Graves explained. The left, he noted, don’t appear to be able to have any fun anymore. “I don’t think they’re able to smile. Their faces don’t even do it anymore,” he said.

Though the show was originally launched about a decade ago, it has a new home on Censored.TV, the home of many deplatformed personalities from the right including Gavin McInnes, Milo Yiannopoulos, and Jim Goad. He is often joined by the show’s producer, film director, journalist, and frequent guest on “Friday Night’s All Right;” Pawl Bazile, as well as Graves’s manager, army vet, and co-host of “the Michale Graves Show” on YouTube; Arturo Santaella.

Topics range from current events, politics, and music — to his Christian faith and serious spiritual matters.

Good on ya, Michale, all the way ’round—although I feel it incumbent upon me to point out that Graves was NOT the singer for the original Misfits, but for the years-later reboot of the band that their founder and original singer, Glenn Danzig, wanted nothing to do with.

After a long legal battle, Glenn agrees to a settlement with Jerry and Doyle, along with Caroline Records, on January 1. The deal allows the two to perform and record under the name the Misfits, but also discontinues the entire Samhain catalogue. The same day Plan 9 becomes defunct. After a Danzig show in New Jersey on April 26, Jerry and Doyle knock on Glenn’s hotel room door and ask if he wants to rejoin the Misfits. Jerry later tells Metal Maniacs, “We went to his door and knocked and 15 minutes later security came and walked us out of the hotel. So we took that as a ‘no.'” In an interview with Seconds, Glenn shares his true feelings about the new version of the Misfits. “The band you’re seeing right now as the Misfits is not the Misfits. It’s one guy trying to relive something and make some money because punk is fashionable again. It’s not the Misfits and everyone who’s seen them has called me and said, ‘What the fuck is this?'”

WELL, then. But no matter, Graves still clearly has his head screwed on right:

Graves, despite being a punk legend, is facing severe backlash for agreeing to be a witness for the defense for Proud Boys who are being charged over the January 6 Capitol protest.

The influential musician maintains that there was no plan for an insurrection, and that members of the Proud Boys who were at a Latinos for Trump event that he went to had asked him to perform at a party later that day. Hardly sounding like people who were gearing up to go try and topple the government.

Three cheers, a tip of the cap, and good on ya again, Michale. Having brought up Glenn Danzig and all:

GLENN DANZIG: MISFITS COULDN’T HAPPEN TODAY DUE TO “CANCEL CULTURE”
“You could never have the punk explosion nowadays because of woke bullshit”

He’s right about that, and you know he is.

Now myself, I never much cared for the Misfits, either then or now. Danzig has a cpl-three songs I like, but still…meh. So instead of embedding any of that stuff, I’ll just go with the song I lifted my post title from, by a vintage punk band I DO like.

The Exploited’s early recordings were kind of thin and creaky-sounding, a matter more of production values (or lack of them) than anything else. Later on, the power and OOMPH! always present in their live shows was brought to the fore, a difference that’s kinda hard to miss here:

Yeeeaaah. THAT’S more like it.

I’m sure I’ve recounted the tale here before of the time I kinda-sorta inadvertently got Glenn Danzig—a dedicated straight-edge type, mind—stoned to the bejeezus bells one night in a Lower East Side bar I worked in, the world-renowned No-Tell Motel on Ave A (a great interview with No-Tell’s founder and proprietor, my old friend Deb Parker, can be perused here).

Deal was, the girl I worked with would now and then bring in brownies, cookies, or what have you made with some of the most potent weed I ever did run across. She’d put them out on the bar on a plate, for our in-the-know friends and barfly regulars to, umm, enjoy.

Now, Glenn was a semi-regular at No-Tell his own self, and happened to be in on one of those extry-special Friday nights when there were spiked comestibles present. Sure enough, Glenn asked me if he could have a cookie; after a moment’s hesitation I simply shrugged and said, “sure, man, go right ahead.” Next time I turn around, Glenn is grinning woozily, bleary eyed, and swaying on his stool, surrounded by other bar patrons heartily slapping him on the back and razzing him.

If you know him, don’t tell him I told y’all about this, ‘kay?

WHO?!?

Not all rock stars are libtard morons.

Roger Daltrey: The ‘Woke’ Generation is Creating a Miserable World

That’s the whole idea. Wokesters are all miserable little worms themselves, and as everybody knows, misery loves company.

The Who legend Roger Daltrey says the ‘woke’ generation is creating a miserable world that serves to stifle the kind of creative freedom he enjoyed in the 60s.

“It’s terrifying, the miserable world they’re going to create for themselves. I mean, anyone who’s lived a life and you see what they’re doing, you just know that it’s a route to nowhere,” he added.

Daltrey also slammed the negative impact that social media has had on the world, saying it has undermined truth.

“It’s just getting harder to disseminate the truth. It’s almost like, now we should turn the whole thing off. Go back to newsprint, go back to word of mouth and start to read books again,” he said.

While Daltrey’s comments may not be mind-blowing, any celebrity speaking out against the mob that has cannibalized culture is something to be applauded.

Indeed so. I do believe this calls for some Who embeds tonight, which we’ll get to anon.

My own personal rundown of the 60’s Brit Invasion bands runs something like this:

  • The Beatles: love love love their early stuff; can’t stand their latter-day hippy-dippy psychedelic glop
  • The Stones: meh (Keef and Charlie emphatically excepted, of course)
  • The Kinks, ditto (no exceptions)
  • Herman’s Hermits: oof
  • The Hollies: Some truly GREAT stuff, interspersed with some real clunkers later on
  • The Yardbirds: meh

Which pretty much leaves the Who at the top of the whole pile as far as I’m concerned. In discussing this topic with friends and fellow players over lo, these many years, some have expressed surprise over my antipathy to most of the Stones’ ouevre, along with my professed fondness for the ‘Oo. The Stones, after all, were grungy, cocky, rough-hewn outlaws—ie, the same ruffian cloth I’m cut from myself—in sharp contrast to the Who’s more clean-cut, less-outlandish Boy Next Door image, Daltrey especially.

What can I possibly say, except…I can’t explain.

The almighty power chords raging throughout the most iconic rock anthem of all time might help explain my lasting affection for these guys, maybe.

That’s the closer of what was billed at the time as The Who’s farewell show in 1982—although as final shows go, this one later turned out not to be all that final. The concert was aired on Showtime, I think it was. I do remember watching it over and over at a friend’s crib with the rest of our crew, completely in awe of the way these old geezers could still kick out the jams with the cream of the Young Dudes crop. If you got the time and dig the Who like I do, it’s definitely worth checking out the whole thing.

And since I brought up the Hollies before, here’s one of their best, according to l’il ol’ moi at any rate.

Lip-synced, naturally. I did run across a quite creditable live clip of the song from another TV appearance, but when the instrumental break came around and those sweet steel drums…JUST…WEREN’T…THERE

…well, my heart broke a little bit, I missed them so very much. Still, though: could those boys sing or WHAT?

Mamalicious!

I’m laboring mightily here to refrain from making the all-too-obvious “MILF militia” crack, really I am. But it’s hard. So, so hard.

Mamalitia.jpeg

All my crass joking around aside, bless these comely lasses for their pluck, their initiative, and their can-do spirit, as laid out in the group’s mission statement:

Mamalitia is a community of constitution loving women that recognize our empowerment comes from fully engaging in our children’s education, our wellness, food and financial sovereignty, and overall skills. We are committed to building the world we want to live in, getting back to our roots while empowering women from every walk of life.

Mamalitia was formed in 2019, and is based in California where the founder saw a need to prepare women during a time of uncertainty. We are a non partisan group of women who support the Constitution and support uplifting other women. We are made up of professionals and homemakers, women trained in natural medicine, business owners, mothers and women who want to learn how to be self sustaining if and when needed.

Our women are trained in how to communicate should we be cut off

Our women are trained in protecting our homes

Our women are trained in how to prepare with food and supplies

Our women are trained in medic skills

Our women are trained in community support

Our women are creating schools

The tyrants have created women who are ready to go like it’s 1776.

In California? You go, girls, and good on ya. Needless to say, Mamalitia being comprised of patriotic, self-reliant, and indomitable sorts, the usual shitlib suspects are all a-snivel:

Triggered leftists are reportedly threatening a group of moms opposed to mandatory vaccines in California who have formed a pro-Second Amendment group empowering women called the “Mamalitia.”

On Sunday, the Mamalitia group announced it would cancel public meet-and-greet events after receiving terroristic threats following media hit pieces which mischaracterized the group as dangerous radical extremists.

“Mamalitia community has canceled all public meet and greet events due to media attacks, irresponsible reporting and false claims that have invited terrorist organizations to threaten our women and children,” reads a press release put out by the group.

Yeah, well, I can think of a really good retort to that kind of nonsense. More than just the one, actually, none of which involve putting up with a second’s worth of shit from the quivering queefs. More, and more pussified:

Dr. Richard Carpiano is a professor of public policy and sociology at the University of California, Riverside who has followed the group and its movements on social media since its founding.

He says Aguilar was in Washington, D.C., in January when a violent coup stormed congress, though there’s no evidence she breached the building.

But she has been seen on social media alongside members of groups like the Proud Boys.

He’s concerned that with this rhetoric some group members could become violent.

“When you’re showing pictures of you with weapons, you are advertising services to train people in firearms. There’s no reason whatsoever to think they’re not pushing some extremist view,” he said.

The article also cited state Senator Richard Pan (also a former UC professor), who claimed the group had bullied and harassed lawmakers.

“Not only did they protest the public health measures but they then employed tactics to bully and intimidate people,” Pan told CBS Sacramento.

I strongly suspect that, in your case, it would NOT be a difficult thing to do, Poindexter. Probably be a lot tougher to AVOID intimidating a “man” like you, in fact. You and the limpid Miss Carpiano sound as if you’d both collapse into a piss-yellow puddle on the sidewalk, hysterical tears copiously flowing, if a medium-sized dog growled in your general direction.

Most peculiar, innit, how the self-proclaimed “feminists”—especially the “male” variety—immediately soil their Underoos at the mere sight of a truly strong, independent-minded woman? I must inquire once more: HOW THE FUCK IS IT that we ever allowed such miserable specimens to take our country from us in the first place?

Didn’t see THAT coming

The French get froggy.

Mister President,
Ladies and Gentlemen of the Government,
Ladies and Gentlemen,

The hour is serious, France is in peril, several mortal dangers threaten her. We who, even in retirement, remain soldiers of France, cannot, in the current circumstances, remain indifferent to the fate of our beautiful country.

Our tricolor flags are not just a piece of cloth, they symbolize the tradition, down through the ages, of those who, whatever their skin color or faith, have served France and given their lives for it. On these flags we find in gold letters the words “Honor and Fatherland”. However, our honor today lies in the denunciation of the disintegration which strikes our homeland.

– Discrimination which, through a certain anti-racism, is displayed with a single goal: to create on our soil unease, even hatred between communities. Today some speak of racialism, indigenousism and decolonial theories, but through these terms it is racial war that these hateful and fanatic supporters want. They despise our country, its traditions, its culture, and want to see it dissolve by taking away its past and its history. Thus they attack, through statues, ancient military and civilian glories by analyzing words that are centuries old.

– Discrimination which, with Islamism and the suburban hordes, leads to the detachment of multiple plots of the nation to transform them into territories subject to dogmas contrary to our constitution. However, every Frenchman, whatever his belief or his non-belief, is at home everywhere in France; there cannot and must not exist any city or district where the laws of the Republic do not apply.

– Discrimination, because hatred takes precedence over brotherhood during demonstrations where the authorities use the police as proxy agents and scapegoats in the face of French people in yellow vests expressing their despair. This while undercover and hooded individuals ransack businesses and threaten these same law enforcement agencies. However, the latter only apply the directives, sometimes contradictory, given by you, the rulers.

The perils are mounting, the violence is increasing day by day. Who would have predicted ten years ago that a professor would one day be beheaded when he left college? However, we, servants of the Nation, who have always been ready to put our skin at the end of our engagement – as our military state demanded, cannot be passive spectators in the face of such actions.

It is therefore imperative that those who run our country find the courage to eradicate these dangers. To do this, it is often sufficient to apply existing laws without weakness. Remember that, like us, a large majority of our fellow citizens are overwhelmed by your dawdling and guilty silences.

As Cardinal Mercier, Primate of Belgium, said: “When prudence is everywhere, courage is nowhere. “So, ladies and gentlemen, enough procrastination, the hour is serious, the work is colossal; do not waste time and know that we are ready to support policies which will take into consideration the safeguard of the nation.

On the other hand, if nothing is done, laxity will continue to spread inexorably in society, ultimately causing an explosion and the intervention of our active comrades in a perilous mission of protecting our civilizational values and safeguarding our compatriots on the national territory.

As we can see, there is no more time to procrastinate, otherwise, tomorrow the civil war will put an end to this growing chaos, and the deaths, for which you will bear the responsibility, will number in the thousands.

Backstory:

A massive group of former and current French military personnel signed an open letter this week warning of the imminent danger posed by so-called anti-racist ideology, and urging French President Emmanuel Macron to work quickly to prevent a civil war.

The letter, published in French magazine Valeurs Actuelles, was signed by 20 former French generals, 100 officers and over 1,000 other military personnel.

It accused the French government of kowtowing to destructive ideologies such as anti-racism and Islamism, which it said were being leveraged for the purposes of sowing unrest in French communities and risking a descent into full-blown civil war.

The signatories expressed grave concern with the government’s push to deconstruct and decolonize its own history in an attempt to placate a growing Islamism that has wracked the nation with violence and argued that radical Islam is being used to subject neighborhoods to dogmatic rules that go against the French Constitution, creating an unconstitutional parallel Islamic state.

Notably, the letter explicitly linked the growing threat of an Islamic insurgency in France with the everyday terror of violent socialist and anti-racist riots that have frequently piggybacked off of the chaos of the Yellow Vest protest movement.

The letter went on to state that anti-racist ideology is actively promoting racial enmity and that its proponents are partisans seeking an all-out race war.

Thankfully for the French, it looks like their military will not fall in line with the tyrannical dictates of social justice dogma, and will step forward should they need to protect the citizens of the republic and their noble traditions.

On all accounts, American leadership might have something to learn from these old soldiers.

Not precisely, no. It’s actually the American people who have something to learn from this inspiring example. As in France, American leadership is the source of the problem, so it’s a different lesson altogether that they need to be taught.

Pobody’s nerfect

A handsome mea culpa from America’s Governor™.

Exclusive: Florida Gov. DeSantis Says Lockdowns Were a ‘Huge Mistake’
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis issued a statewide stay-at-home order on April 1 last year, locking down the Sunshine State for 30 days amid global panic about the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus outbreak. Sitting in his office exactly one year later, he told The Epoch Times that the lockdowns were a “huge mistake,” including in his own state.

“We wanted to mitigate the damage. Now, in hindsight, the 15 days to slow the spread and the 30—it didn’t work,” DeSantis said. “We shouldn’t have gone down that road.”

Florida’s lockdown order was notably less strict than some of the stay-at-home measures imposed in other states. Recreational activities like walking, biking, playing golf, and beachgoing were allowed, while what constituted an “essential business” was broadly defined.

“Our economy kept going,” DeSantis said. “It was much different than what you saw in some of those lockdown states.”

However, the governor now regrets issuing the order at all and is convinced that states that have carried on with lockdowns are perpetuating a destructive blunder.

It’s a matter of perspective, actually. If you’re one of those too-credulous naifs who still, against all evidence, thinks of this as a well-intentioned if perhaps overly-aggressive response motivated by sincere public-health concerns, then “destructive blunder” might pass muster with you. If, on the other hand, you’re the more skeptical and hard-bitten sort who—after gimlet-eyed observation of over a year’s worth of the clumsy deception, constantly-moving goalposts, and all-thumbs bureaucratic circle-jerkery which are all too typical of a bloated government that recognizes no limit on its power and reach—prefers to trust his own lyin’ eyes instead of passively swallowing whatever bullshit he’s handed, then you know full well what the true goal was here. A disaster it surely was, from any point of view; fair enough, so stipulated. But God forbid you should ever be blind enough to mislabel a high-order psy-op as successful as this one as any kind of “blunder.”

The governor’s persistence wasn’t a leap of faith. Less than two weeks after Florida’s full reopening in late September, scientists from Stanford, Harvard, and Oxford universities went public with the Great Barrington Declaration, which disavowed lockdowns as a destructive and futile mitigation measure. The declaration, which has since been signed by 13,985 medical and public health scientists, calls on public officials to adopt the focused protection approach—the exact strategy employed by DeSantis.

Despite dire predictions about the pandemic in Florida, DeSantis has been vindicated. On April 1, Florida ranked 27th among all states in deaths per capita from the CCP virus, commonly known as COVID-19.

The ranking’s significance is amplified because the Sunshine State’s population is the sixth oldest in the United States by median age. California—the lockdown state often compared to Florida due to its lower per-capita death rate—is the sixth youngest. The risk of dying from the CCP virus is highest for people over 55, with the group accounting for 93 percent of deaths nationwide.

While Florida is either performing better or relatively the same as the strict lockdown states in terms of CCP virus mortalities, the state’s economy is booming compared to the crippled economies in California and New York.

Though less quantifiable, the human suffering from the lockdown-related rise in suicides, mental health issues, postponed medical treatments, and opioid deaths is undeniably immense.

“It’s been a huge, huge mistake in terms of policy,” DeSantis said.

“All I had to do was follow the data and just be willing to go forward into the teeth of the narrative and fight the media.

“As people were beating up on me, what I said was I’d rather them beat up on me than have someone lose their job. I’d rather have them beat up on me than have kids locked out of school. I’m totally willing to take whatever heat comes our way because we’re doing the right thing.”

Kudos to you, Governor. Would that America had many more like you, because she’s in desperate need of them.

Then again update! Meanwhile, back in the states where Ron DeSantis ISN’T Governor.

The mindless mask regime might be here to stay, unless YOU resist it
The masks might be forever. We have to come to terms with the fact that a large chunk of the US population will be wearing masks in public for years, maybe even decades to come.

Even if we unquestionably achieve herd immunity, even if 100 percent of the population is vaccinated, even if COVID cases nationwide drop to zero and even if the coronavirus by some miracle learns to communicate in a human language and tells us, forthrightly, “Well, you beat me,” some Americans, especially those in blue metropolises, will continue to cover their faces — and shame you for not going along.

It’s a massively depressing thought.

For more than a year, public-health authorities have urged us to put up with temporary inconveniences, always with the soothing promise that it will be only a little while longer. But recently, NPR cheerfully reported about the growing number of people who see masks as a source of Permanent and Absolute Safety.

Flu and other respiratory illnesses are down this year owing to our ubiquitous face coverings, our state-run news agency tells us, so maybe we should just keep wearing them. Meanwhile, the rapper Will.i.am and Honeywell have introduced a super-duper smart mask that runs $300. The “Xupermask” allows the wearer to chat on the phone or listen to some dulcet music while signaling her virtue.

None of this should give anyone the slightest bit of confidence that the days of ubiquitous mask wearing will soon be behind us.

Yes, masks reduce the transmission of airborne illnesses. You know what else reduces transmission? Staying in a protective plastic bubble in your living room and never venturing into the dirty, filthy, infectious outdoors. And even if it makes sense to wear a mask in tight indoor quarters, it is utterly unscientific and, yes, moronic to wear them outside, and yet blue-state denizens insist.

Sigh. The mask fanatics — some of whom hold advanced degrees that make them no wiser as human beings — can’t be reasoned with.

Precisely so—and precisely why we shouldn’t trouble ourselves about reasoning with them, and just skip on ahead to the beating them until they quack like a duck phase of the festivities without further ado. The longer we put it off, the tougher it will be to rid ourselves of them.

Ghastly!

Haven’t mentioned the death of Prince Phillip here yet, because…well, because meh, honestly. But then I saw this.

The royal consort of the UK has died at age 99. An acerbic individual, here are a selection of Prince Philip’s greatest hits, including his long-running wars against Tom Jones and Elton John, from a 2011 article in The Independent:

1. “Ghastly.” Prince Philip’s opinion of Beijing, during a 1986 tour of China.

2. “Ghastly.” Prince Philip’s opinion of Stoke-on-Trent, as offered to the city’s Labour MP Joan Walley at Buckingham Palace in 1997.

7. “How do you keep the natives off the booze long enough to pass the test?” Asked of a Scottish driving instructor in 1995.

8. “Damn fool question!” To BBC journalist Caroline Wyatt at a banquet at the Elysée Palace after she asked Queen Elizabeth if she was enjoying her stay in Paris in 2006.

11. “We don’t come here for our health. We can think of other ways of enjoying ourselves.” During a trip to Canada in 1976.

13. “British women can’t cook.” Winning the hearts of the Scottish Women’s Institute in 1961.

15. “What do you gargle with – pebbles?” To Tom Jones, after the Royal Variety Performance, 1969. He added the following day: “It is very difficult at all to see how it is possible to become immensely valuable by singing what I think are the most hideous songs.”

16. “It’s a vast waste of space.” Philip entertained guests in 2000 at the reception of a new £18m British Embassy in Berlin, which the Queen had just opened.

18. “If it has four legs and it is not a chair, if it has got two wings and it flies but is not an aeroplane and if it swims and it is not a submarine, the Cantonese will eat it.” Said to a World Wildlife Fund meeting in 1986.

22. “I would like to go to Russia very much – although the bastards murdered half my family.” In 1967, asked if he would like to visit the Soviet Union.

Good, goooood squishy, that is. More equally succulent Royal badinage at the link. May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest, Your Highness.

Church militant

I like the cut of this preacher’s jib.

Popular internet pastor tells his Church to “take them stupid masks off’ during Easter service
A popular pastor from Tennessee has stirred some controversy after telling some members of his congregation to “take off their stupid masks” during a service this past Sunday during Easter.

The move came despite federal guidance urging the wearing of masks to control the spread of COVID-19. Locke, who leads the Global Vision Bible Church in Tennessee, reportedly mocked some of his congregants for following that advice “like sheep”.  “Unless you’re under a doctor’s orders — and a few of you are — take them stupid masks off when you come to Global Vision! There, I said it on Easter.”

“Take them stupid masks off,” Locke declared during his Holy Week sermon. “Call me crazy? You come, pull up in the parking lot wearing two masks in a car by yourself. Call me crazy? That’s crack-smoking crazy is what that is.“ Locke, made the statement after reportedly referencing Isaiah 53:6, which says:

“All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way;  and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” “It’s interesting God calls us that [sheep]. Not much has changed, has it? You remember this time last year? This time last year, they were like, ‘Oh my goodness! You cannot have resurrection service; you will kill everybody.’

‘You are gonna kill everybody within 250 miles.’ We ain’t killed nobody yet, by the way,” the pastor said. “And so the media started infusing us with fear tactics. You see, they know this verse, apparently. They know that people that are ignorant of Scripture willfully will obey any ridiculous mandate that the media gives them because it makes them feel better about themselves.”

Locke then praised Churches like this that stayed open for Easter stating:  “Since we’re a year in, I just want to verifiably say, thanks be to God for other churches that opened, that reopened, and thank God for churches that decided that they weren’t gon’ close at all. They saw through it. We’ve never closed yet.

We’ve never closed one single time during all this COVID debacle,” He goes on to say that it would have taken the entire US military to shut down his Church.  “They will roll up in tanks. They will drop down from helicopters. And I promise you, it won’t be a dozen police out there from Wilson County and from Mt. Juliet,” he declared.

“It’s going to take the entire United States military to roll up into this parking lot and tell us, ‘Hey, we can’t worship Jesus, and that we got to shut our church down, and that we can’t preach, and we can’t pray …’ You have lost your mind if you think I’ve given in to that! You have lost your mind if you think I’m giving into that mess! We are staying open forever! Forever!”

PREACH it, Rev.

Vote Big Dan!

Make America Texas again? Sounds like a plan to me.

Dan Rodimer is a former WWE wrestler who is running for Congress in Texas.

In one of his new ads, he takes aim at Nancy Pelosi and Democrats in Washington, DC and refers to them as ‘commies’ who are ruining America.

If he keeps this up, his chances should be pretty good.

Take my word for it, folks: you do NOT want to miss the campaign video. It’s a real humdinger, that’s what.

The DC article GP links to on the guy is all abrim with rich, buttery Rodimer goodness:

“The commies in D.C. are ruining America,” Rodimer continues. “We have a big problem … I know how to handle Nancy Pelosi and stop her bullsh*t.”

As he steps in a pile of manure, Rodimer says that he will “put a boot right in her socialist platform.”

The congressional candidate slams Democrats for “men in women’s bathrooms, boys in girls’ sports, higher taxes,” and “higher gas prices.”

“They’re building a wall around D.C., but they’re not protecting our borders,” Rodimer adds. “They’re laughing at us.”

Rodimer says that he moved his wife and six children to Texas because he wants to raise his kids in a state that is friendly to the Constitution.

“The communists in D.C. want to shut down our churches, close our businesses, indoctrinate our children, communism in our classrooms, make our daughters unsafe in sports and school, destroy American borders and our American history,” Rodimer continues. “We must stop them.”

Indeed we must, while we still can. Personally, I can’t find anything at all objectionable in any of that, taking it for the both-barrels blast of righteous, double-aught Truth right in the face that it is. Nevertheless, there IS a dark side here, one for which Rodimer can in no way be blamed.

Click on the link embedded in the above Tweet and peruse the responses and you’ll quickly feel the smothering miasma of despair settling over you like fog, as it hits you just how very many shitlibs have already descended on the great Republic of Texas like some Biblical plague, with more almost certain to come. Their peurile, doot-brained attacks on Big Dan are straight out of the Shitlib 101 handbook, quite easily dismissible if one is so inclined to waste time and energy on that futile endeavor, which I ain’t. What’s troubling about it is not that the “arguments” are tough to counter—because actually, they aren’t. It’s that they’re there in the first place, evidence of the dangerous infestation of the very heart of one of freedom’s last, best hopes. If these locusts are allowed to swarm Texas and overcome it, there’ll no longer be any refuge left where Real Americans might escape them.

Ironic as it surely is to note that one of the primary weapons the Twatter Libtards try to wield against Big Dan is the “carpetbagger” canard—which bothered them not in the slightest when HILLARY!™ glommed a NY address solely to enable the drunken megalomaniac to slither her way into the legislature—true-blue Texans shouldn’t let any of it dissuade them from supporting Dan Rodimer without reservation come election day. Not only is the future of the Republic at stake, it would also amount to a bodacious middle-finger salute directed at a whole passel of wretched, snotnosed twerps who have most certainly earned one—that, and a whole lot more besides.

When you’re right, you’re right

And right they are.

Russia Blasts Biden Regime For ‘Persecution’ Of Trump Supporters, Political Dissidents
Russia calls on the United States to observe the human rights of political opponents.

The irony, it burns.

The Russian Foreign Ministry has issued a statement lambasting the United States government under Joe Biden for the “ongoing persecution campaign” taking place “against anybody at all who does not agree with the results of the latest presidential election.”

In the statement, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova delivered a scathing assessment of the human rights situation in the United States under President Joe Biden.

Zakharova described the ongoing crackdown against Trump loyalists in the United States:

“The FBI has reportedly opened more than 400 criminal cases and applied for more than 500 search warrants and subpoenas for suspects; it has also brought charges against and detained around 200 people. Only several dozen defendants have been released on bail or placed under house arrest. The others are being subjected to harsh pressure, with members of their family and social circle being coerced into giving a ‘convenient’ testimony. Moreover, people who have not even been officially charged are losing their jobs; they are being banned from social media and publicly ostracised.”

She also questioned the “objectivity of the law enforcement agencies” involved in this campaign, noting that they were acting under orders and “in line with the narrative of the current administration who declared the events of January 6, 2021 a riot and everybody who was near the US Congress on that day all but plunderers.”

She went on to correctly note that far from being violent rioters, most of the attendees of the January 6 rally were peaceful protesters.

“In fact, the majority of those people were ordinary citizens concerned about the situation in their own country,” she said. “These were 74 million voters who voted for their president and defended their views.”

Living in Biden’s shiny new Amerikan Gulag, you might devoutly wish to be able to dispute all that. But if you’re at all honest, you can’t. Bottom line:

As the human rights situation continues to deteriorate in the United States, it is becoming apparent to the world that Trump supporters are a repressed group in Biden’s America.

A-yup. Know the old saying “the truth hurts”? Well, when you’re trapped in a rapidly disintegrating banana republic, watching a formerly powerful and prosperous nation fall into decay in the iron-fisted grip of an illegitimate, repressive junta that is openly hostile to half its own population, it damned sure does at that.

Pitbull takes a bite

An urgent wake-up call, from one who knows whereof he speaks.

Armando Christian Pérez, the renowned Grammy-winning rapper known as Pitbull, spoke out about the abuse of power in COVID-19 lockdowns. Pitbull, a first-generation Cuban American whose family escaped from Fidel Castro’s communism, claimed that Castro would be jealous of the power Democratic officials have exercised during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“My family comes from communism, they fled communism, they had everything taken away from them, everybody got murdered, everybody got killed,” Pitbull said in a video on RevoltTV. “That’s the reason me, being a first-generation Cuban American, I look at freedom and I appreciate that s***. I appreciate opportunity…That comes from the fact that when Castro took over everything, and I’m looking at what’s going here right now.”

“The only person that’s hot…is Castro,” Pitbull added. “He’s going, ‘Y’all did it with a virus? Sh**. Y’all took over the world with a virus? You’ve got to be kidding me.’”

Pitbull noted that Castro “had missiles pointed to the United States of America” but he suggested that the COVID-19 lockdowns have done more damage to America than Russia did in the Cold War.

The rapper warned about Big Tech censorship, likening it to communism. “If anybody is not a part of the narrative we gonna take it off online… which to me smells like…communism,” he said.

There’s a very good reason for that, as this courageous young liberty-lover knows all too well. A little Pitbull pedigree:

As Paul Sakka at The Blaze noted, Pitbull’s grandmother fought in the Cuban Revolution on Castro’s side only to realize that she had made a terrible mistake. Fearing the rumors about communist indoctrination camps for children, she sent her two daughters to the United States during Operation Peter Pan, a covert program that brought 14,000 Cuban children to the U.S. between 1960 and 1962. The U.S. government brought Pitbull’s mother and aunt to Florida, and Pitbull’s father would also land there after fleeing the Castro regime.

Pitbull has said he would never play a concert in Cuba so long as the communist Castros control the country. “I won’t perform in Cuba until there’s no more Castro and there’s a free Cuba,” he told The Guardian in 2011. “To me, Cuba’s the biggest prison in the world, and I would be very hypocritical were I to perform there. The people in Cuba, they know what I stand for, and there’s a lot of people in Cuba that stand for the same. But they can’t say it.”

Good for Pitbull for exercising his rapidly-vanishing right to speak out like this. Nobody fears and loathes Marxist tyranny like those who have experienced it firsthand and lived to tell the tale. Americans ignore the increasingly clamorous warning of communism’s survivors at their own dire peril.

Gathering steam

Can’t stop the signal, shitlibs.

Former President Donald Trump has actually gained — not lost — political clout since leaving office, a political observer asserted Friday.

Politico reporter Tara Palmeri’s observation runs contrary to the assumptions of many in the Washington D.C. establishment and the mainstream media.

“People don’t want to hear anything against Trump,” Palmeri said during an appearance on MSNBC. “Actually, the more he stays out of the media, the more that he becomes this martyr, this looming figure over the GOP.”

In the most stupefying act of political hara-kiri in memory, the treacherous, backstabbing GOP willfully rendered itself irrelevant for all time. Trump people couldn’t possibly care less about them. They achieved their ignoble doom the old fashioned way: they earned it. Now let them enjoy it, to the last bitter dregs.

In fact, there is now a “crusade” being waged on behalf of the former president in places like Wyoming, where Trump is “way more popular” that the state’s high-ranking congressional Republican, U.S. Rep. Liz Cheney, Palmeri said.

She drew the conclusion after speaking with locals in the Cowboy State about Cheney’s vote to impeach Trump while covering an anti-Cheney rally led by Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla.

“I actually went out of my way to try to find someone who would defend her and I really could not,” Palmeri told MSNBC. “She didn’t have that much name recognition, considering she’s a Cheney…I mean, I said her name at a hardware store, and someone shouted a threat.”

Good. You idiots, most certainly to include tapeworms such as Cheney, have not the vaguest clue what you’ve stirred up out there. Clue to the clueless: it’s going to get much, much worse.

She then described an apparent disconnect between what’s perceived as truth in D.C. and what’s perceived as truth in Cheyenne. Palmeri mentioned locals not wearing masks, expressing distrust of the coronavirus vaccine, claiming both that the number of reported deaths from the pandemic were “inflated,” believing the 2020 presidential election wasn’t legitimate, and that the Jan. 6 riot on Capitol Hill was “staged” by Antifa.

Every bit of which is literally, verifiably correct. There’s a disconnect, all right, but for reasons other than what our self-proclaimed “elites” want to think, or can afford to admit to themselves.

“I hate that they’re so distrustful,” Palmeri said.

Maybe your and your fellows should have thought a little harder before you committed the innumerable acts that created and nurtured that distrust, then. Hate it all you like, but the distrust is more than justified, and corrective action is way overdue. Meanwhile the Trump train, in whatever form and by whatever name, keeps a-rolling.
