No love lost

A bleak but frank assessment of where we now stand.

What do I owe to my country?  Its central government is thoroughly and irredeemably corrupt. It is bankrupt both fiscally and morally. As of this writing, its judiciary has shown itself incapable of defending the Republic against the depredations of leftist rabble. The tentacles of its bureaucracy reach into the lives and wallets of the productive class “eating out the substance of the people” exactly as Jefferson warned.  Yet still, with the stench of corruption and theft pervading the country, this government  assumes my loyalty.

What, pray tell, has it done to deserve it? Mobs of the indoctrinated expect that we should all just “get over it” and “come together to heal” as if the gangrenous clot of necrotic tissue that is the political culture of this nation will ever heal.  Our rulers, our media, and half our “countrymen” piss down our backs and still insist it’s raining. The fealty of helots is what the Lords of Washington expect. They will not get it from me.

The loyalty of free men is reserved for a government of equals, not an aristocracy of reptiles. The latter is what we suffer now. The former we once possessed, but it lies now in the dust of history. The outward form and function remain, but the spirit of liberty, which animated it, has gone. The ties by which free men bind themselves voluntarily to any form of government have long since been sundered by the actions of those who have chosen to rule rather than govern. I will not suffer those ties to become shackles.

Since my forbears bequeathed to me a form of government that no longer exists, I am released from further obligation to the abomination that has replaced it. My loyalty, like my liberty, belongs to me and me alone. It is mine to give or to withdraw as I see fit. I owe the rulers of this land nothing: not life, not liberty, not the pursuit of my own happiness. These things are mine from my first breath to my last gasp. They cannot be abrogated, regulated, or terminated by the denizens of a distant city who presume to know what is best for me. These…people (I do not have the words for the contempt I feel for them) have polluted our forms of government, destroying what they can, dismantling what they cannot.

Everywhere is grift and graft. They have taken nearly everything, yet they still want more. They want my body shackled, my spirit humbled, and my mind enslaved. They try to steal the very breath from my body with their filthy rags. They have trampled upon my God-given rights, indoctrinated my children, accused me, threatened me, and silenced me. Now they have stolen even my choice from me. This government and its leftist appendages have betrayed my trust and half my fellow citizens treat me and mine with undisguised contempt. My loyalty to them and to their government is at an end.

For my own part, I can only add that the Usurper Biden is not my president, and he never will be. And Amerika v2.0 is not my country. He closes with an appropriately humble examination of some of the unknowns.

I do not think I lack personal courage, but the simple fact is that I know what I do not know, and anyone who has not been in a fight like the one coming can say no different. Any man who claims a virtue not yet tested by the fight we face is a liar and a fool.  As a young man, I would have welcomed the test. Now, decades on, I ponder the depth of my commitment, the strength of my arm, and the clearness of my mind. Is the man I am now fit for the fight? Only the fight itself will reveal the truth of it. I simply do not know how I will behave when the shooting starts and to claim otherwise is the height of hubris. At the least, I hope that this old man will give good account for blessings received while on this good earth.

No good thing ever achieved by man remains unsullied by the grasping hands of those who seek to exploit it. So it is with these United States. Time, trials, the certainties of fallen human nature, and the machinations of the unprincipled have accomplished what they always accomplish. This nation will crumble and the ensuing chaos will engulf us all to one degree or another. Something good, either a restoration of the old or the institution of the new, will rise from the blood and ashes. I pray that I do not love this life so much that I would live it as a slave or be unwilling to expend it for the sake of those to come. That, at least, is my hope.

Amen, brother. No matter how diligently we may try to suss it all out, the fact is that NO ONE has the vaguest idea what lies ahead. We’re walking on uncharted ground now, trapped in a singularly bewildering place and time that overwhelm all human ability to map or anticipate, with no historical precedent to serve as our guide.

Incredibly enough, I only just realized that I didn’t already have the Burning Platform blogrolled, even though I’ve linked and excerpted from there many times over the years. So I fixed it.

Update! Requiem for a murdered nation.

Let’s keep things simple, shall we.

We are facing the end of the Republic. It is easily argued that it already expired, the point being that now we face a deep state coup, massive election fraud, huge corruption, an attempted Marxist takeover, and foreign control from China.

Democrats are traitors to the Republic. Republicans are not much better. The rule of law is dead: nothing that Trump has attempted to do has been done. He is surrounded by the deep state. The three letter agencies (of which so many of you are so afraid) have sold out to the dark side. They are part of the deep state.

Many of you are sold on the PSYOP that there is a plan in place. You may follow QAnon. “Trust the plan.” There is no plan. The attorneys who have attempted to fight the election fraud in court are fools. Why? Because they are working in an old system, where they had success with big lawsuits in court, and cannot get their heads around the massive corruption of the rule of law and the court system. They are working in an old system that no longer has merit. The supreme court is not doing its job. The Lawyers will not save you; you have to save yourself.

I would like to be wrong, and I would be happy to be so. But I don’t think so. Unless Trump pulls a plan out of his ass, Biden is getting sworn in on the 20th of January. The reprieve we had during the four years of the Trump Presidency will be over.

Most of America is sleeping. They expect that we will get over this. They expect a ‘return to normal.’ That is not going to happen.

There are a few basic facts that Real Americans need to accept and internalize:

  • This IS “normal” for us now
  • It will stay that way unless and until WE CHANGE IT OURSELVES
  • There is no legal, nonviolent way to make that happen

The clock is ticking. Is it never too late to right a grievous wrong? Or did Meriadoc Brandybuck have the right of it on the Pelennor Fields when he despairingly said “too late is worse than never“?

Chinese wild cards

Pulling ’em from a crooked deck.

Let’s say, for the sake of argument, that my theory is correct, and that the upcoming DNI report on foreign interference in the 2020 election is incredibly damaging to China and the Democrats, and that it lays bare specific instances of corruption where China has influenced individuals to aid in the theft of the election, both Democrats and Republicans.

Let’s then posit that Trump does invoke the Insurrection Act, declares martial law of some sort, maybe to order either a national redo of the election, or a redo in the fraudulently stolen states.  Let’s further say that Trump actually arrests the most egregious criminals.

Okay, so what then?

Whatever it is, it won’t be pretty, it won’t be fun, it will go on a lot longer than certain overconfident types prefer to imagine, and ultimate victory is by no means a sure thing. But read on to see what the ChiComs have cooking for us next.

The Troubles

Or, as some of the fresh-off-the-boat Irish lads I used to run around with back in my NYC days always pronounced it, The Thrubbles.

The descent of a once-peaceful republic into blood and chaos happened quickly. It took place over a year or two, after police stepped aside while mobs set up barricades, torched homes, and eventually started shooting their political enemies.

Other lessons from the Troubles:

  • Snipers were most effective early on. The British forces adapted by switching to sniper-proof guard towers, armored vehicles, and helicopters. Soldiers were issued body armor and helmets. The British forces also employed counter-snipers.
  • Snipers were responsible for about 220 deaths and about 1,100 non-fatal casualties. But those represented only 11 percent of all British police and military casualties claimed by the IRA. The rest came from improvised explosive devices, car bombs, drive-by shootings, and close-in assassinations.
  • The IRA pioneered conducting a sniper attack from inside a vehicle. One team used a Barrett .50 caliber rifle inside a Mazda 626 hatchback. The shooter would lie prone and fire through a one-foot shooting port in the rear of the vehicle. After the shot, a metal shield would be moved into place as armor.
  • The British Military Reconnaissance Force, attached to 39th Infantry Brigade, ran a laundry business. The Four-Square Laundry was a front organization that existed to conduct reconnaissance and run forensic tests on clothing belonging to suspected IRA members. The IRA learned about it and wiped it out in a daylight attack by three gunmen with a Thompson sub-machine gun, an M1 carbine, and a .45 semi-automatic handgun.
  • The IRA used honeytraps. In one example two young women, who appeared to be between 18 and 22 years old, frequented the lounge bar of the Woodlands Hotel. They lured British soldiers to a nearby apartment, and excused themselves briefly. Two IRA gunmen burst in and assassinated the soldiers.
  • Protestant newspapers served as anti-Catholic propaganda outlets. In 1971, one published a letter referring to Catholics as “animals crawling into Ulster.” It said: “You’ve got to fight fire with fire, and personally I don’t think they’ve enough fire to make the animals sweat.” Loyalist News said Catholics wanted to “enslave the people” and recommended Protestants “organize themselves immediately.”

Unlike our peaceful republic, Northern Ireland was plagued by a left-wing paramilitary organization that targeted peaceful Irish families. Politicians dialed up the rhetoric by blaming Catholic deplorables for anti-government sentiments, and media organizations worked to dehumanize their opponents. Normal Americans must be shaking their heads at how Northern Ireland’s justice system allowed barricades to go up in cities.

We are more fortunate. That could never happen here.

Yeah, lucky us.

Speaking of my old NYC Irish chums, and apropos of nothing whatsoever, I hope I’m not speaking out of turn when I mention a guy I knew fairly well back then. He was the owner of a once-famous, long-gone-and-much-lamented concert hall on 19th Street, both bearing names I’ll refrain from mentioning. We played the place ourselves regularly back in the day, along with a whole slew of other touring acts of every genre. I couldn’t even begin to recount how many unforgettable shows I saw in that joint.

As it happens, said to-remain-nameless owner—being well-connected with some IRA sorts who would pop in to visit on the occasional fundraising and/or gun-procuring jaunt Stateside—troubled himself to introduce me to a couple of these gents at barside, God only knows why. There was also a fair Colleen working for him as a waitress that I was enjoying something of a dalliance with concurrently. Anyhoo.

Understand me well: I have spent a goodly portion of my life happily cheek-by-jowl with some truly scary people. Hells Angels in NYC; Outlaws in Chicago; miscellaneous and sundry reprobates from squarely within the Mad, Bad, and Dangerous To Know demographic. All of them I have bent an elbow with, played music for, and just generally enjoyed the company of, without the slightest anxiety or concern. Well, for the most part.

And I gotta tell ya: scary they may have been, but NONE of those guys froze the marrow like those IRA guys did. Merely being in the same room with them inspired one to start checking six on a frequent basis.

I was there once with a close friend of mine, now deceased, who was nothing short of a badass his own self. We were at 19th St to see a show. As we passed by on the way to our table one of those IRA dudes made an off-color crack regarding my friend’s girlfriend. We sat the female down, whereupon Chris requested my accompaniment as backup for his intended confrontation of the offending blaggard. We walked back towards the guy prefatory to Chris speaking his piece; the guy was perched on a barstool, Guiness in hand, just as cool as some cucumbers as we approached all stiff-legged, jaws clenched and shoulders squared.

The IRA guy said NOTHING. Not a single syllable did he utter. But his eyes—which never for a moment wavered from their absolute lock on the two large and obviously angry guys approaching—his eyes had Death in them. Chris, who I had never, ever seen back down or knuckle under to a living soul, not once…backed the fuck on down.

Me? I was damned glad he did.

That IRA guy would have made mincemeat of the both of us and never broke a sweat or missed a moment’s sleep over it afterwards. Doubtless he would have sat down and enjoyed himself a nice rare steak after cutting our throats in the most casual fashion. I ain’t kidding in the least, y’all. That’s how just plain scary this guy was. It just rolled off of him in waves, intimidating one of the biggest, toughest, most fearless guys I ever knew into turning himself around and slinking off with nothing more than a steely-eyed glare. I never saw the beat of it, before or since, and I hope I never do again.

Being of Irish descent myself, I always longed to pay a visit to the Emerald Isle someday. After that near-miss brush with heartless Fate, though, the ambition lost a lot of its urgency, I do admit it.

Move on

This sort of thing is becoming tiresome, at least to me.

WHAT NOW? The Fight for Our Freedom Continues Despite SCOTUS Ruling on Texas

Well, it should—indeed, it must. But the futile hope to see this grievous wrong righted via legal means should be dispensed with at this point. Indeed, it must.

We have to decide are we willing to live in a country where Obama judges ignore justice and rule on their own desires?

Are we willing to live in a country where the FBI attacks honest courageous Americans for calling out corruption rather than deal with the criminals committing the corruption?

Are we willing to live in a country where hard-working Americans pay for government excess and corruption while Democrats create non-profits so they don’t have to pay taxes?

Do we want to live where the upper crust makes millions and billions sending our jobs overseas while allowing anyone to cross our borders?

Do we want to live where babies who miraculously survive abortion are murdered?

Do we want to live where you are forced to wear a mask to stop a cold- like- flu that those under 75 are virtually immune to or be forced to take vaccines that may make us sick?

Do we want to live where Big Media is worse than the Pravda and Big Tech is worse – where lies are the truth and the truth is lies and where our every step and word are observed or censored?

None of us want any of this. Today we fight on. We will never surrender our freedom. We will work through the courts and fight for justice. But we will never live in tyranny.

Hate to be the one to clue you in on this, Joe, but you ARE living in tyranny. And if the only way Americans will “fight” to secure justice is to “work through the courts,” then we’ll all go right ON living in tyranny. Another example:

Will A Small County In Northern Michigan Be The Key To Overturning The Nation’s Election Results? America Should Find Out On Monday

Having just witnessed seven members of the USSC brazen reject their duty and shit on their sacred oaths—three of them ostensibly “originalists” appointed by Trump—America certainly doesn’t have to wait until Monday to find out.

The soap box has failed us. The ballot box, ditto. The jury box just collapsed in a sodden, stinking heap before our very eyes, whatever the weaselly fictions conjured by the Slippery Seven to justify their betrayal.

That leaves us with just the one. Time we all stopped wasting our time clutching at straws and faced the facts, I think. There are magazines that need loading, and there’s a clock ticking.

Whither now, and how?

A look at the practical realities.

It would be quite a task to launch and maintain a Revolutionary Army today.

I give any attempt, save in sparsely populated areas, a 72 hours survival window before the powers that be, Trump or no Trump, fall on them like the wrath of God and obliterate all those not willing to surrender.

So the only way to move forward with this would be to act like a surreptitious force of irregulars like any insurgence operating with limited resources in occupied (by the government) terrain.

Like the IRA or pisslim terrorists or any similar force.

In the late 1940s future Israelis convinced the British to leave Palestine by these methods.

And most of those that would be willing to participate have zero experience in this kind of life and operations and have never been on the opposite side of the forces of law and order and quite to the contrary.

I’m not saying it can’t be done. But I wonder about (a) our disposition and (b) basic ability for it.

From the standpoint of theory or of dreams, a true, honest to goodness, all out, civil war is the best thing that could happen for us IF we were to give one now.

From the standpoint of practicality the probability of it being successful is very small.

We waited too long.

And we didn’t prepare enough when the preparing was good.

Mind you, the notion is “a true, honest to goodness, all-out, civil war.” My fear is that the best we can hope for is a series of limited, very confused, and short skirmishes that would resolve nothing, waste good, decent lives and only prove to all those pusillanimous and comfortable “I’m not gonna fight you no matter what you do to me” types that they were right in not getting involved.

Look, I’m not against it.

In fact, I’m very much in favor of civil war because I don’t see any other way for our country to survive as something decent and not the commie-fagoty thing the demonKKKrats want to “fundamentally change” us into that flies would fly away from because it would be too much, even for their maggots.

But I’m a realist, a practical individual, and a modest student of systems and trying to keep a clear head about this.

The Constitutional Republic (July 4th, 1776 – November 6th, 2020) is dead of a deadly disease: leftism plus corruption.

We could put it on suspended animation while we give a civil war (emergency surgery) and try to bring it back to life.

The problem is that as the surgeons we know the chances of a successful surgery and reanimation in the present circumstances are…small for lack of resources and time and patient condition.

Since the alternative is unthinkable I’m in favor of the surgery.

The alternative is we don’t have a country, anymore.

But let us not go into it thinking it will be a remake of 1776.

It would be…quite different.

Ohh, I’d say that’s about as safe a bet as bets can get. Lots more here, all worth careful thought.

American apocalypse

Riders on the storm.

Lately, I have found myself turning to the Book of Revelations, written by the Apostle John and transmitted to the world in the first century A.D. Everyone is familiar with the vision of the four horsemen in Rev. 6:1-8, where they appear with the opening of the first four of the seven seals that bring forth the cataclysm of the end times.

In our “time and setting,” one might think that we are witnessing the last days of the American Republic, following massive electoral fraud, the suppression of facts by the media, the ubiquitous practice of censorship by the tech platforms, and the (so far) pusillanimous refusal of the courts to rectify the greatest electoral scandal, by several orders of magnitude, since the defeat of Andrew Jackson in the “corrupt bargain” of 1824.

Given the cultural forces that have been at work undermining the joists and beams of the nation, the impending calamity comes as no surprise. The four horsemen are riding again, and their names are Feminism, Climate, COVID-19, and the Democratic Party.

I cannot pronounce on the tenets of any specific communion, but I do believe that without faith in the transcendent, however mysterious and elusive, and without holding to a morality based on the values of truth and courage, then in consequence “whatsoever worketh abomination” (Revelations 21:27) will wreak destruction upon a people and a nation.

The four horsemen of the American Apocalypse are riding hard and, in the absence of popular conviction and institutional integrity, the sequel will not be in doubt. In Holman Hunt’s celebrated painting The Light of the World, based on Revelations 3:20 and representing Christ standing before a closed door, it is instructive to note that the door has no handle and can be opened only by the dweller inside. The religious symbolism is obvious and is elaborately explained in Jeremy Maas’ Holman Hunt and the Light of the World, but in our context, the message is that the citizens of the country and the courts within have been called to open the door and let in the light of truth. The fate of the Republic hangs in the balance.

Looks like that fate has today been officially sealed.

Washington — The Supreme Court on Friday rebuffed a last-ditch attempt by Texas to block electors from four battleground states — all of which backed President-elect Joe Biden — from voting in the Electoral College, delivering a fatal blow to President Trump and his allies in their quest to overturn the results of the presidential election.

The high court refused to take up the lawsuit filed Monday by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton that took aim at the election results in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia and Wisconsin.

“Texas has not demonstrated a judicially cognizable interest in the manner in which another State conducts its elections. All other pending motions are dismissed as moot,” the court said in an unsigned order.

But Justice Samuel Alito, joined by Justice Clarence Thomas, said the court does “not have discretion to deny the filing of a bill of complaint in a case that falls within our original jurisdiction. I would therefore grant the motion to file the bill of complaint but would not grant other relief, and I express no view on any other issue.”

Ace sums up the grim tidings.

The ultimate Friday Night News Dump: The Constitution is repealed; America is no longer a democratic republic.

“Standing” is a doctrine without much rigor. Judges find standing when they want to take a case, and don’t find it when they want to bury a case.

Yes, that’s true: The Court has no discretion to not take the case. The Constitution says they must take it.

But whatever, I guess the Constitution is a tax now or something.

Well, no. It remains the sad, spindly parody of itself it was long ago incrementally reduced to, over many years of painstaking and deliberate effort by the Left: a total irrelevancy, a meaningless document stripped of any but purely historical interest, bearing no relationship whatsoever to the governance and “law” of this contemptible joke of a banana republic.

The Democrat-Socialists and the evil Left should have been stopped dead in their tracks well before their lengthy campaign of treasonous destruction had advanced to this extreme. Because of our reluctance to recognize the enemy and engage him, there are no good choices left to us. Ironically, the torpor of ordinary Americans—thoroughly conciliatory people whose only wish was to be left alone to live their lives in peace by the tyrannical Left—has made the very war they so desperately hoped to forestall unavoidable.

So be it then. The last die has been thrown, the final hand dealt. Whether out of cowardice or corruption, the so-called “Supreme” Court chose to traduce their oaths with today’s outrageous transgression against sober jurisprudence. With that betrayal, there now remains but one course of action left for Team Liberty: fight or die.

Lock and load, folks; the battle for the tatterdemalion scraps of freedom and dignity we still enjoy is shortly to be joined, for real and for keeps. We are about to learn just how many Americans remain truly American. May enough of us prove worthy of our proud, noble heritage to turn the dismal tide at last.

Update! Build back better.

“The Supreme Court, in tossing the Texas lawsuit that was joined by seventeen states and 106 US congressman, have decreed that a state can take unconstitutional actions and violate its own election law,” Texas GOP chairman Allen West said in a statement, “resulting in damaging effects on other states that abide by the law, while the guilty state suffers no consequences. This decision establishes a precedent that says states can violate the U.S. constitution and not be held accountable. This decision will have far-reaching ramifications for the future of our constitutional republic.”

The “constitutional republic” HAS no future; it’s long been dead, and today the last spade of earth was shoveled onto its grave.

West also suggested that “law-abiding” states should “bond together and form a Union of states that will abide by the constitution.”

A capital idea, one I support wholeheartedly. But that new Union had damned well better make building the ability to defend effectively against all-out military attack by Progtardistan a top priority, right from the git-go. Otherwise, Freedomlandia’s survival will be measurable in weeks, months at the outside. Rest assured that such a war of conquest seeking the re-subjugation of the breakaway nation’s citizenry is more than a mere “possibility” or “concern”; it is an absolute certainty—a matter not of if but of when.

Let them take arms update! Aesop draws a line under it.

With this dismissal, the Supreme Court of the United States has just ruled that the Constitution of the United States no longer has jurisdiction over the United States. In so doing, they have also self-deligitimized any jurisdiction they formerly possessed.

The only answer to that has to start with gunfire, and end with nooses.

Conduct yourselves appropriately. The entire social contract is therefore dissolved.

If you swore an oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that bill has just come due. The government of the United States has now entered into a state of war with its own people.

If there is no Constitution, there is no law, no republic, and no allegiance due to any authority constituted under it and subservient to it. That includes the national government, and every former US state and territory. At the stroke of a pen, they have all become pretenders.

The time for talking has ended. Come as you are.

May God have mercy on my enemies, for I shall have none.

Earlier, he also speculated on some potential opening gambits.

If a few cubic yards of concrete accidentally get poured into an underground vault, you ain’t repairing that for some time.

The same is true if you weld manhole covers and service plates to their rings.

If you shoot the boss, they can replace him in 15 minutes. If you hit the truck with the tools and supplies, that takes days to weeks to replace. But if you take out the guys who fix the stuff, they take months to years to replace. And the other ones don’t want to show up for work either, afterwards.

BLM and Antifa already have a rep for burning things, and trying to derail trains. They should get 100% credit for anything like that going forward, forever.

If someone shoots a guy driving a truck, there’s a body. But if someone drops a letter off with pictures of his kids at school, and he decides maybe he ought to call in sick, there’s no body, and little to follow up on. (One might even have the envelope delivered at a truck stop, and suggest he uncouple, and return home without his load.) Same result.

A train track missing a rail on the outside of a medium curve will usually derail a train. (With modern rails, you have to bridge the contact between the section with wire or something, which BLM has figured out, per recent news reports.)
If that derailment happens to interfere with a major industrial plant, arterial roadway, etc., that’s a two-fer.

This is the same reason military manuals recommend dropping tall objects (trees, towers, smokestacks) over roadways, bridges, and power transmission lines. Half the effort, twice the result.

A great many more at the link, and more yet in the comments. Our would-be masters know not what they’ve done, methinks. But they went ahead and did it anyhow, so may they have as rough a ride as can be imagined from here on out.

Trust: who do ya?

Not them. Not ever.

In the case of the vaccine, there is no reason at all to trust the government. They have simply lied too often about too many aspects of this virus. Compounding it is their communications organs have been staffed by demented sociopaths who lie for the sheer pleasure of it. The only way anyone we could trust the media is if they are the first to be inoculated. Even then, it would probably be a fake vaccine, so we would need some way to ensure they are getting the real jab and not a fake.

This is why the vaccine will be mandatory. Another aspect of liberal democracy is the rulers respond to well-founded distrust of them with coercion. In this case, we will be getting the Orwellian freedom passes. In the U.S. they will have some bland bureaucratic name because our managerial elite is functionally illiterate, but the Brits retain their pithiness, despite it all. As a result, these new internal passports proving you are up to date on your Covid jabs will be used to compel compliance.

What does this mean as a practical matter? What they are plotting is a system where everyone is issued an innocuous looking card with a vaccine stamp and date. When you get your booster shot, you get a new stamp with an expiry date. Oh, you are unaware of the regular booster shots required? You see? This is why this vaccine is a miracle. It will require you to give Big Pharma a check several times a year. Your doctor at Acme Hospital System Inc. will also be getting her beak wet.

If you think you can just blow this off, think again. For starters, there will be a massive public relations campaign to shame skeptics. Old people will be shown lining up for the jab and famous people will demand you get the jab. Soon, private business will demand proof of the jab before they accept you as a customer. Want to fly on a commercial airline or ride public transport? Papers please. Want to attend a public event like a sporting match? Papers please.

What this will become is the terms of service for citizenship. In fact, it will probably be baked into terms of service edicts. If you want to use Netflix you will have to prove you are up to date on your jabs. Of course, Big Tech will be there to make this simpler with tracking software for your now mandatory smart phone. That paper card they will be issuing will be replaced with an app for your phone that will be required if you want to function like what passes as a normal adult.

If this sounds a lot like fascism, you would be right.

Aww, I’m SURE that’s just a coinkydink. I mean, it’s GOTTA be. Right?

What the Covid-19 panic has revealed, and continues to reveal, is the managerial elite has no respect for things like the rule of law, individual liberty or any of the other foundation items of consensual government. To protect democracy, they will rig the election process. To keep us free they will strip us of our rights. In the name of inclusion and diversity they will exclude anyone who disagrees. What we are seeing is that the real plague on our society is the ruling class.

Nailed it, clean and tight. Unfortunately, there’s only one way to inoculate ourselves against that particular plague. The vaccine—although a proven, time-tested, sure-fire prophylactic—isn’t a permanent cure either, requiring booster shots on a regular basis. It’s also quite costly, and not in merely financial terms. But however harsh, painful, and expensive the treatment, allowing the Ruling Class disease to metastasize and run rampant is far more damaging to the body politic over the long term. Quoth a truly great man:

God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. We have had 13 states independant 11 years. There has been one rebellion. That comes to one rebellion in a century and a half for each state. What country before ever existed a century and half without a rebellion?

Not anything like a free one, that’s a dead cert. The rest of the quote—concerning the watering of certain trees and what their natural manure might consist of—will doubtless be quite familiar to folks around these environs, I trust. It’s this next bit that I most wanted to drive home.

And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms.

It’s as mystifying as it is dreadful to ponder how shamefully far Jefferson’s descendants have allowed themselves to stray from the eternal wisdom of his words.

An outsider looks in

They know not what they do.

OK, the first thing to say is to apologise for the sheer cheek of some upstart limey like me commenting on the election in America, but I have to say something because I am sitting here in shocked astonishment looking at what appears to be an engineered tyrannical coup d’état against not just President Trump but against the very ideal of democracy itself.

I’m not going to go into the details of the numerous unprecedented issues of corruption and fraud surrounding this election because those details are many and some are already in the public domain anyway. I am simply going to observe that this is a monumental moment not just in the history of America but in the history of the world, and a monumentally catastrophic moment in terms of freedom, democracy, morality decency and honesty. Those who understand what is actually happening don’t need the whole thing spelled out to them, but those who think nothing terribly untoward is happening other than that President Trump is behaving badly, should listen carefully. Very, very carefully.

The world outside the democratic West is a very brutal place. No left-leaning liberal would wish to live in Saudi Arabia, or Sierra Leone, or countless other such places. No left leaning liberal would wish to have lived in Europe during most of the decades of the 20th century which saw so much devastation and death courtesy of political totalitarians seeking nothing more than power and nothing other than power. These corrupt, totalitarian systems were finally defeated because America fought on the right side of good v evil, of freedom versus tyranny and did so at great sacrifice in terms of the many young men who never made it home again, who died in foreign fields and foreign seas in order to preserve freedom and democracy.

Yet here we are, toward the end of 2020 looking at the very real possibility of the breakdown of democracy in America itself. What would have been unthinkable for so long, over so many generations of Americans, can no longer be considered unthinkable. If this gross subversion of democracy is not dealt with in a satisfactory manner by the lawyers then I see no reason, no reason at all why America should not descend into violence and potential civil war in the worst case scenario, or simply lose all confidence in any future elections as a best case scenario — which can only and inexorably lead to the worse case scenario again.

Destroying the democratic foundations of America will certainly have real world consequences. When Donald Trump won the Presidency in 2016 the far-left cried Russian collusion and displayed their visceral hatred across the entire left-wing spectrum, but their anger wasn’t based on the undermining of democracy; their anger was merely that of the petulant, spoiled child denied a shiny bauble. Their anger was lukewarm, false, unjustifiable. Their anger was mere political posturing and they now think the anger of Trump supporters is the same — mere political posturing.

But how wrong they are. How dangerously wrong they are. The anger of Trump’s supporters is white hot, it is incendiary, it is real and it is entirely, eminently justifiable, and it is not the anger of the loser, it is the anger of the wronged and is about so much more than Trump, this is about the democratic future of the United States of America. When a country reaches the point of such legal corruption and such moral degeneracy that democracy can be overturned in full view of a complicit and unquestioning media and liberal establishment there is very little guarantee that democracy will ever recover. This is why the anger is at boiling point, and even now, the left cannot understand what they have done.

I hope and pray this will be resolved by the legal process, but I implore the Democrats, the left-wingers, the socialists and the communists to stop pretending what you have done is acceptable. It is not, and the consequences could be catastrophic both for you, for America and for the world.

They won’t heed a word of it, of course, badly as they need to. As Herschel so aptly puts it, our British cousin “understands the danger the corruption has caused for America better than the people who caused it, or aided it, or who simply looked the other way.” As is so often the case with arrogant fools, the lesson will only be learned the hard way.

“What would this act of disenfranchisement be other than war by other means?”

It’s getting more and more difficult to distinguish it from war by the usual old means.

There are only two possible results to the current crisis. Both are incendiary. Biden’s handlers brazen out their crimes, because GOP legislatures and the U.S. Supreme Court have failed to rectify the offenses. Or Republican legislators do their duty, and/or the Court’s five originalist justices uphold the Constitution, thereby giving the presidency to the rightful winner, Donald J. Trump.

A Trump victory may eventually have a happy ending. But in righting this most grievous wrong, the road ahead will be rough. The Civil War ended with the Union holding and slavery abolished. But the price paid getting there was stiff, and it took a century to dissipate hard feelings and end Democrat-sanctioned apartheid in the South. We really are two peoples living in one nation. The divisions are stark. These disputed elections will drive us further apart.

The criminal enterprise spearheaded by Democrats will resume warfare not only on a victorious president, but on us. This criminal coalition will seethe in rage that their evil designs were thwarted — but by their logic, only temporarily. The prize for this unholy alliance remains the same: seize power for their gain and to rule over us. Give these rogues credit: their power-lust makes them relentless. Meaning, we need to defeat them so thoroughly that reengaging the fight is kamikaze crazy.

Mob violence, which would resume, isn’t a “tantrum,” as some dainty conservatives have characterized it. That trivializes billions of dollars in property destruction and violence against innocents, including police, who are becoming scarcer in Democrat-run cities. You can bet that the mongrels of war will be loosed with a vengeance.

What of the Deep State? At the very least, bad players at the CIA and FBI, principally, would stay on offense, hoping to stave off Trump’s resolute initiatives to thoroughly clean out these viper’s nests.

Democrats will hold a slim majority in the U.S. House. Pelosi, those harpies Tlaib, Omar, Pressley, and Ocasio-Cortez, Adam Schiff, the Democrats’ chief psychotic, and a slew of other power-grubbers would make endless mischief for the president.

COVID — vaccine included — will continue as an all-purpose excuse for blue state shutdowns. With Trump installed at the White House, Democrat governors would hope that continuing to subtract blue states from the national economic mix depresses the economy overall.

On the other hand, if Biden’s handlers steal the election, Trump’s America won’t riot. We’re a civil, law-abiding people.

Which renders the outcome a foregone conclusion, and Trump’s America will lose.

President Trump won’t pass his days on the links at Mar-a-Lago. He’d remain the leader of half of America, who are unreconciled to the republic’s subversion. That also makes the president a target for Democrats and the left. Trump’s tax returns would be plundered, and attempts made to criminalize him and his family.

Targeting Trump for persecution targets all honest, patriotic Americans. Democrats weaponized the law years ago. They’d have no trouble using it as a terror weapon once the White House is secured.

But what, then, do patriots do if Trump is so attacked? What of the injuries to our lives, liberties, and pursuits of happiness that would surely emerge from a Biden administration? Where, in the days ahead, is the breaking point, the point of no return in this unfolding conflict? When will a critical mass of Americans reach their pain thresholds? When will patriots say enough is enough?

That’s the biggest question of all, isn’t it? The root problem is that the enemies of liberty and Constitutional order—the Deep State; Enemedia; bureaucrats and career politicians, at every level; the Democrat-Socialist Party crime syndicate; the Left en masse—have all lost their fear of Real Americans. Real Americans must now harden their hearts, strengthen their resolve, and do what they must to demonstrate just how mistaken their enemies were about that, and to ensure that the appropriate fear is re-instilled and maintained in them.

If not now, when?

Never, that’s when.

There isn’t going to be another chance in 2022, 0r 2024. Or EVER.
This was the last election where you had a shot.
I repeat:

This was the last election where you had a shot. There will never be another.

There won’t be another free election in your lifetime, for anyone who reads this, unless this gets addressed, and I mean but now.

Not in a minute, next week, end of the month, nor 6 months, not in a year, not in NeverNeverLand fairytales somewhere down the road.
This month and next. By them. Or by you. Or, please God, by Us.

And the absolute final expiration date on that is Jan. 20, 2021. At noon, EST.
That’s the absolute Go To Hell date.
If TPTB won’t fix it before then, they have no reason to fix it, ever.
And they won’t, nor show any sign of doing anything other than ignoring you, wholesale.
And if they don’t do it RFN, what’re you gonna do about it?
Vote at them?

That’s risible, and derisible, simultaneously.
Any fucktard sumbitch talking about “regrouping” and “continuing on forward” for “next time” that hasn’t factored in ropes, bullets, and napalm in their calculus is talking out their ass.
There isn’t going to BE a “next time”.
That outcome was the whole point of THIS time.

Precisely so. It’s now, or it is not. It really is stunning to hear so much purblind Pollyanna bleating about Trump maybe running again in 2024…AS IF 2020 HADN’T JUST HAPPENED. As if our Enemies, Domestic, fresh from having pulled off the crime of the century so successfully, would for some unfathomable reason decide to refrain from doing it all over again next time, and the time after that, and the time after that, and etc etc etc.

To quote Queen Kamala’s soon-to-be Veep: Are you serious? ARE YOU SERIOUS?!? Nitz explains further, for the ludicrously obtuse among us.

I was driving the now home-bound kids, school-wise at least, on a pizza run. I heard someone on the Hannity show talking about Trump making a comeback in 2024. I wanted to put my fist through the radio.

In 2024? 2024? 2024????? When…

  • The Left has eliminated the filibuster and rammed through so much progressivism it’d take four years of slogging with Trump AND both Congress and the Senate in “R” hands just to undo that?
  • The Left has impeached Kavanaugh, Gorsuch, and Barret? (Yeah, yeah, I know, the Senate. Really? With so many RINO squishes eager to fellate their new Dem masters just to keep their places at the federal funds trough? They’ll sign on in a Washington minute just to keep the perks and invites to the parties going.)
  • 30-odd million illegals given legal status and, doubtless soon after, citizenship? Not to mention the hundreds of thousands of refugees they bring in and – I would not be surpised at all – to whom they’ll give citizenship immediately? And 80%, conservatively, voting “D”?
  • And that’s assuming Trump has not been STAR-chamber convicted and is sitting in a cell. If he’s lucky.
  • When “cancel culture” has taken over, amplified to insanity from where it already is. They want revenge – look at what they’ve done to the Biden computer repair man… and their crowing exultation that they’ve driven him out of business. You think you’re immune? Ready for your appearance before a Truth and Reconciliation board?

And on and on and on.

No, if Trump does not prevail there will NEVER EVER EVER be another election in the US where a Republican, or anyone to the Right of Stalin, stands a snowball’s chance on Mercury. The Left will know, having seen, that the GOP will roll over and expose their throats and bellies rather than fight, even when cornered.

So please stop gaslighting us that “all is not lost”. It is. Don’t gaslight me that “we’ll win next time”.  No we won’t.

Precisely so again. Go ahead with the ostrich imitation if you wish, but don’t try to kid yourself that this isn’t, as I keep saying, for all the marbles. Not “next time,” not “tomorrow,” not “someday” or “eventually.” There will be no participation awards given for procrastination, evasion, or blissfully floating off down the River DeNile. This is win or lose it all—game, set, match—and it’s right the fuck NOW.

Preview of coming attractions

What to look forward to from Gropey’s illegitimate ruling junta.

With this new government, most people will have very little control over their lives. Those at the top of government will have a lot of power and will probably take a lot of perverse pleasure in it. State legislators in what will become the minority party are not at the top of government and will have no more power than the rest of us.

So, no different than now, then.

What kind of changes will we have to endure? We will wear masks forever. There will always be a medical crisis mandating them.

Again: nothing new there.

There will be a war on combustion.

That’s poorly phrased; the war will be on internal combustion engines. There’ll be plenty of combustion out there, as BLM/PantiFa/et al burn White Suburbia to the ground.

We will be forced to drive electric cars or no car at all. Barack Obama began this effort in 2009 with his “cash for clunkers” program.

Don’t try to tell me you didn’t see THAT coming.

Thanks to new regulations, we will pay much higher prices for technology and medical care.

Already are, thanks.

We will have medical death panels. It is already starting.

We’ve had “death panels” since 2009, actually.

The first to receive the COVID-19 vaccine will be health care workers and nursing home residents. So far, the choice is palatable, but who will be the next one to be deemed worthy of survival? I assume that I will be dead last (pun intended).

I assure you I won’t be taking it at all—not ever, no matter what—so you needn’t worry about tripping over me to get it. “Survival”? Your concern is duly noted, but what with the Red Death’s less-than-intimidating IFR, I’ll tend to my own knitting there, thanks.

The war on combustion means there will be no fossil fuel to heat our homes. We will have to use heat pumps exclusively. Heat pumps require refrigerant. There is already a high price for refrigerant because of previous regulations. Expect the price to go higher. All of this will lead to rationing of electricity. There will be either rolling blackouts or central control of the thermostat. The latter already occurs in some people’s homes.

I’ll take “central control of the thermostat” for a thousand, Alex.

Government monitoring of our telephone calls and internet use will continue.

What, you really thought any of that was going away?

All guns will be confiscated.

They will certainly try. Jury is almost but not quite out on getting it done, though.

The state legislators will not be exempt from this horror.

Wanna bet?

I call upon all Republican state legislators in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin to reject the 2020 presidential elections in their states as inconclusive and vote in their own slate of electors. Make democracy great again.

Don’t hold your breath waiting for it, ‘kay? As has already been too-adequately demonstrated, the Repukes are part of the whole swindle, just another cog in the dirty machine.

“THEY’RE NOT AFRAID OF US”

Correct, because in recent years they didn’t need to be. They must be shown that a re-examination of that assumption is necessary. And I DO mean MUST.

Mike, Skeptic here. Your article “All the Marbles” was on point. Too much to say to put in a comment thread.

Watching commentators marvel at the open, outright theft of the most important office in the land is hilarious. And everyone is just amazed and befuddled at why the Democrats would even attempt such a thing. I can tell you why they are doing it.

THEY AREN’T AFRAID OF US. Not one little bitty-bit. They do whatever the hell they want to us and sleep well, because they have no fear of us whatsoever.

And you know what? They’re right. “But we have guns!” Seriously, who gives a shit? Weapons only have two values: their ability to deter or their ability to destroy. Their deterrent value is only based on their ability to destroy – and the willingness of those who possess them to wield them to destroy. And if there’s anything that’s obvious by now, it’s that “our side” won’t wield those weapons.

Compare and contrast the two approaches. First, look at Antifa/BLM. Government officials are TERRIFIED of them and what they’ll do. Sure, they may be rabble and savages, but damned if they don’t know how to get their way. In many big cities, it’s practically illegal to arrest a black person for anything – and don’t even think about trying to stop a BLM riot. Even Trump has kowtowed to them with the “Letting black criminals out of prison” act, laughingly referred to as ‘reform,’ as well as numerous other giveaways and virtue-signaling to black America. Riot, burn down some cities, and mayors and governors are scared shitless. Even during the scamdemic, when other gatherings were prohibited, nary a single government official dared to even suggest that the riots weren’t the best possible thing that could ever happen in our world – no matter what political party they belonged to. And the idea that SCOTUS, or any other government body, will stop the steal of the election? Spare me. They know that the Lefty riots that would follow would make the Summer of George look like a coffee klatch. Hence, no matter what is right or wrong, the Dems will get their way. Period. Fucking Dot. Antifa/BLM is exercising deterrence WITHOUT weapons, because they are unafraid to destroy.

But what about our side? Well, we’ll hold toothless hearings. We’ll write strongly worded letters. We’ll peacefully protest. And then we’ll go home as the tyrants inside the government buildings laugh at us. EVEN IF PEOPLE ON OUR SIDE CARRY GUNS TO THE PROTESTS, the petty tyrants won’t lose a single wink of sleep, because they know that those guns are strictly for show, not for use. Hence, no deterrence. The Michigan Militia went into the Statehouse fully armed – and yet didn’t do so much as tear a piece of paper. No willingness to destroy.

“So, Skeptic, how would YOU handle it?” Well, I’ll be honest. I am, like you, not a young man. I never served in the military (a regret). I don’t even own a gun (another regret which I will soon be correcting). So I have not the youth, nor the tactical training, nor the weaponry to lead an armed insurrection (and I fear that if I did, I’d be the proverbial army of one). But I’m also not someone constantly saying, “Muh guns is gonna pertect us from tyranny an’ stuff.” Because they won’t. America’s gun owners are but a paper tiger, and they will quietly sit at home counting their ammo up until the moment that the tyrants come to get their weapons. Then they will surrender them meekly and get onto the cattle cars themselves. Or maybe the tyrants have already figured out that there’s no NEED to get the guns – because gun owners have voluntarily disarmed themselves. They can leave the guns in the hands of the owners, knowing that the barrels will never be pointed at them.

2020 has seen unprecedented tyranny in our country. Never before have businesses and livelihoods been wantonly destroyed just because. Never before have innocent, law-abiding people been placed under mass house arrest and seen their most fundamental Constitutional rights destroyed. And yet…..nothing has happened. No riots of the oppressed. Shit, not a single mayor or governor has suffered so much as a paper cut. So, you will excuse me for acknowledging that we, as a country, are going ever so gently into that good night. If the gun owners were going to do something, they would have by now. Peaceful protests have actually taken place in front of governors’ residences, with the governors and their families inside, and them worrying not a whit that they would be frogmarched out to face the fate that should face all tyrants.

So, sure, we can sit around talking about how we have 300 million guns and eleventy trillion rounds of ammunition. Nobody in power gives the slightest of shits. The election thieves should, at this very moment, be terrified to show their faces because they know that someone will blow it off. The mayor of Austin who admonished his subjects to stay at home – FROM HIS ROOM IN CABO – should be making plans to stay in Mexico because he knows he’s a marked man if he returns to Texas.  But they are not.

“But, Skeptic, we’re better people than that!” Are we? Really? Is it “better” or “weaker?”

Joe Biden will be inaugurated as the 46th President of the United States. Trump will be removed from office, likely arrested on the front lawn of the White House, to be imprisoned for the rest of his life. Within a month, Kamala Harris will be sworn in as the 47th. Then will begin the most sweeping power takeover in the history of our country. There will never be a legitimate election again. And meanwhile, America’s Gun Owners won’t do a single fucking thing.

Wish I could be more optimistic.

As do I, but CF Lifers will no doubt be aware that my own optimism has more or less dried up and blown away at this point too.

BUT. All that acknowledged—and being nigh unable myself to persuasively argue with Skeptic’s closing prognostications, much as I might wish to—I’ll nonetheless offer an idea that’s at least somewhat hopeful…if anticipating bloodshed, chaos, and national disaster can or should be called hopeful.

Bad as things admittedly have become over this last year, seems to me there’s a reason nobody has started shooting yet. When they do, if they do, it isn’t going to be election chicanery that will inspire it. It will be THEVIRUSTHEVIRUSTHEVIRUS!!!™ that causes the balloon to finally go up.

Why might that be, sez you? Why simple, sez I: nobody is starving yet.

The one thing—the ONLY thing—invariably capable of turning usually mild-mannered, generally diffident people into slavering blood-fiends perfectly capable of blasting away full-auto at the agents of their suffering with nary a shred of hesitation or remorse, is hunger. Very, very few of us can meekly sit back and listen to his hungry child plead desperately for food without taking some kind of direct action in response. Damned near NO ONE is going to just lie back and starve to death themselves.

This is by no means a purely American rule of thumb, either. People, in the US and almost everywhere else, will put up with one hell of a lot before shooting and looting begins to look like a reasonable option to them. As I’ve often said, that is by no means a bad thing. Not if you enjoy little things like peace, stability, and civilization itself, it ain’t.

But when the kids’ bellies are distended, their eyes sunken and dim, and their ability to do much more than lie around mewling feebly as a newborn kitten for sustenance…well, once that sort of thing becomes widespread enough in most any nation or region, the odds favoring a sudden, violent change of government rocket past fair to middling and right on into just you try and stop us territory.

Losing one’s job due to phonus-balonus lockdowns; having one’s life’s work and savings blown away like tumbleweeds in an old Western; being disenfranchised via a brazenly stolen election—that’s one thing. Watching as the spark of life slowly gutters out in the eyes of one’s wife and little ones due to hunger, their spirits crushed and broken, is something entirely else.

In too many ways, modern Americans have been wheedled, cajoled, and just plain hoodoo’ed out of their dignity and self-respect—to such a degree that they’ve passively tolerated encroachments and abuses that would inarguably have had the Founders taking aim and pulling trigger long ago. Maybe I’m wrong, but I still think having real hunger foisted on them and their loved ones in the name of a phony virus, their plight then cemented for all time by a communist hijacking of their country itself, might turn out to be a bridge too far even for them. We’ll find out soon enough.

A time for choosing update! This may seem unrelated to the above. I disagree.

It is clear, after the weeks have passed since the election, that there is no means of arriving at the appropriate transfer of the consent of the governed through legal means. Judges, Secretaries of State, Governors and representatives of the people are incapable of dispensing the true and faithful duties of their offices for various reasons, all of which stem from some sort of corruption, be it bribery, violation of oath, treasonous intent or some other corrupting influence.

Over these weeks, the people have seen their votes discarded, changed and invalidated. Their objections to illegalities in the processes of tabulating and verifying votes has been met with complicit silence, refusing a redress of grievances.

Still, at the end of the day, that is fast approaching, the people of the United States seek a peaceful means of resolution. They look to the Supreme Court for favorable rulings. They assemble at state houses to demand that their votes be counted and verified. They wait for some official to declare their voices heard and the egregious fraud exposed and reversed. They wait for the possibility that the republic can continue, that rule of law has been restored and respected.

In absence of that, WHAT?

It’s time to stop looking to the corrupt for honesty. It’s time to stop looking at officials for guidance. It’s time to stop expecting anyone to do the job of the citizen. There is only one militia, it is the people. The militia has a right to keep and bear arms, not for hunting or self defense, but the defense of the nation, their lives and their liberty. If you want freedom, you are going to have to fight for it like almost every American generation in history. Some of those who have fought on foreign soil for some political objective that kept changing understand what is expected, but this time it is for their homeland, to secure it from globalists that do not recognize individual rights. It is a fight for the ground their children and grandchildren play on. It is for the right of self determination. You can’t imagine the nation we will live in if we do not fight to preserve this one and I suggest that we should go further than that. If they force us to arms, by their inability to restore our rights, we must not put them down until the corrupt who have conspired with the communist governments abroad have been ruthlessly ripped from their seats of power. There is no going back to some previous version of America, there are no roads to the past. We have to build a new road, first with arms and then with reason. But, this stolen election cannot be our last breath of freedom. It is a cause to fight. Let them go through the motions, but in the end only the eighty million people who were robbed of their consent have standing in the court of the republic.

The passage from TL’s last paragraph that I boldfaced is the most crucial bit, I think, although the whole thing is damned important.

The steal will stand

Decision time…for all of us.

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. Gives State Officials Until Dec. 9 To File Response, General Assembly’s Republican Leadership “have No Intention of Doing So”
The date set by Justice Alito — who oversees emergency petitions arising from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware for the court — comes one day after what is known as the “safe harbor date,” the federal deadline for states to resolve outstanding challenges to their elections. Once it has passed, the state’s slate of appointed electors is considered to be locked in for the Dec. 14 Electoral College vote.

“The timing here matters,” said University of California-Irvine law professor Richard L. Hasen, in a post Thursday evening on his Election Law Blog. “I don’t see a path for Trump to use court cases to overturn the election results in even one state, much less the three states he would need at a minimum to get a different result in the Electoral College. But as the clock ticks down, those tiny chances fade into nothing.”

Bill puts it bluntly.

The state legislatures obviously aren’t going to do anything.  The judicial system is equally obviously not going to do anything.

So Trump will have to do something.

We should find out what that will be fairly soon.

If he’s actually going to do anything.

I honestly don’t know whether he will or not. On one hand, Trump has to be awake to what lies ahead, not just for him but for his entire family, if state elected officials and/or the “justice system” abandon their clear duty to undo this criminal outrage. On the other hand, I still can’t quite see Trump taking such a step; “reluctant” would be putting it mildly indeed, I think. Nonetheless, the only useful option left should the USSC refuse to put this right will be to heed General Flynn’s advice:

Former national security adviser Michael Flynn promoted a petition Tuesday calling on President Donald Trump to temporarily suspend the U.S. Constitution, declare martial law and order the military to oversee a national re-vote for the 2020 presidential election.

The petition, published Tuesday by the Ohio-based non-profit group We The People Convention, said there was “no peaceful way left to preserve our Union” following President-elect Joe Biden’s electoral victory and urged Trump to exercise his “extraordinary authority” to avert a second civil war.

“Limited Martial Law is clearly a better option than Civil War!” a letter accompanying the petition states.

Flynn, to whom Trump granted a presidential pardon last Wednesday related to the retired Army general’s December 2017 guilty plea for making false statements to the FBI, tweeted a link to the petition Tuesday evening.

“Freedom never kneels except for God,” Flynn tweeted.

Pro-Trump lawyer Lin Wood also promoted the petition on Tuesday, tweeting that Trump should “declare martial law” to avert a civil war spurred on by bad actors led by communist China.

Trump may have tipped a broad wink in that direction himself.

Ask yourself this question: What was the purpose of yesterday’s White House speech about election fraud and vote rigging?

If you think it was all about Trump communicating to the people, think again. This speech was really about Trump communicating with Chris Miller and the DoD about foreign interference in the U.S. election while laying out the key national security justifications that are necessary to invoke what I’m calling the “national security option” for defending the United States against an attempted cyber warfare coup.

In this article, I present details from 10 USC, Section 394. Subtitle A, Part 1, Chapter 19, “Authorities concerning military cyber operations” as well as National Security Presidential Memoranda (NSPM) #13, covering “offensive cyber operations.” See below.

In today’s Situation Update (Dec. 3rd), I lay out all the details of how Trump just invoked the legal framework — and national security provisions — necessary to allow the Secretary of Defense (Chris Miller) to activate military processes that lead to a tactical takedown of domestic enemies and active traitors.

Read the rest; Scout makes a pretty good case.

Although I wholeheartedly support Trump declaring martial law, limited or not, to thwart this blatant coup-by-fraud and restore something at least resembling a fair and honest election, that isn’t going to solve the problem either. Because the problem is much broader than a single stolen election. The real root of the problem is the continued existence of a nakedly criminal enterprise masquerading as a political party that stole the damned thing—an unabashedly Marxist mafia that stands in direct opposition to Constitutionally-correct government.

Until that problem (at least) is addressed and eliminated, America’s third-world joke of a national “election” system will remain unreformed, and the insufferable Klown Kar Elekshun we’ve just witnessed will be rerun endlessly. No sane or decent person can be happy that we’ve been brought to such a sad, sorry pass. But here we all are anyway. It ain’t Trump alone who finds himself with some very difficult decisions to make.

Foreboding time

Quoth Senile Gropey Joe: “…Biden’s statement noted that the ‘dire jobs report’ offered only a snapshot of the situation in November, ‘before the surge in COVID cases and deaths in December as we head into a dark winter.‘ He was right about that, although as is his clueless wont he hasn’t the vaguest notion why.

Many people talk of a foreboding sense. A sense that something is very close to erupting on the surface. I believe, and have said for months, the eruption will come as a result of overreach by control authority in reference to COVID dictates. We are very close.

The power of government comes from the people; or as we say in the U.S. “from the consent of the governed.” When the people lead, the politicians are forced to follow.

Without implied consent the municipal or state government has no power. None.

As a result, the nonsense ends when the majority of We The People no longer give our consent.

How do We The People retract our consent? We simply refuse to comply.

When the majority of people simply refuse to comply with unilateral dictates, and laugh in the faces of those who attempt to enforce them, the government no longer has power.

If one person refuses to comply, the government or control authority can, and likely will, intervene. However, if tens of thousands rebuke these unconstitutional decrees, there isn’t a damn thing govt can  do to stop it… and they know it. A non-compliant snowball becomes an unstoppable freedom avalanche.

If one restaurant and/or bar opens, the state can target the owner. But if every bar and restaurant in town opens; and if everyone ignores and dispatches the silly dictates of the local, regional or state officials; there isn’t a damned thing they can do about it.

The power of the local, regional or state authority comes from the expressed consent of the people. As soon as the majority of people in that municipality deny that consent, those officials and state authoritarians lose all of their power.

Yes, it really is that simple.

Well, maybe. It’s far more likely that, rather than sit back and watch their stolen power evaporate, our illegitimate authorities will double down on harrassing, fining, and locking up as many as they possibly can. The silver lining, though, is that—should We The People go on “bitterly clinging” to our righteous defiance, even double down ourselves—THAT will be what signals the onset of the Power’s true death throes, and this nightmare regime will begin to totter and fall at last.

I’ve debated with I don’t even know how many folks, both online and in meatspace, who maintained over these last months that if we could all just make it to Election Day, then all this lockdown/urban rioting/Leftard lunacy crap would finally be over and done with. ‘Fraid not, folks. Election Day was merely the beginning. The struggle is NOW; it is ongoing, and it will be neither quickly nor easily won. As Bill Murray so memorably said, in one of the greatest movies ever:

Freedom is never really secure, being always under attack from its enemies on one front or another. The fight for it is eternal…which is why Team Liberty’s vigilance must be too.

All the marbles

Keep on truckin’.

Despite our frayed social fabric, there are signs that normal Americans value our constitutional republic over partisanship.

This happened Tuesday during a remarkable all-day state legislative hearing in Michigan, which followed similar hearings in Arizona and Pennsylvania. The purpose was to explore election fraud, especially in Detroit. It succeeded magnificently.

Dozens of credible witnesses recounted the same events. Trump ballots were left uncounted. Thousands of Biden ballots appeared via truck in the middle of the night. Ostensibly neutral vote counters wearing Biden hats used the coronavirus as an excuse to keep observers on the other side of the room or kick them out completely.

Observers were harassed and called “racists” and threatened with physical assault. They were hauled out of the counting room by police. One IT contractor for Dominion said she saw boxes of ballots repeatedly run “through the tabulating machines, being counted 8-10 times.” All of this was illegal. It does not matter. The criminals will go unpunished.

The most compelling witnesses were not fans of Trump. They were normal Americans, including Democrats, who volunteered as neutral observers out of a sense of civic duty. They were horrified by what they saw. One poor soul was a Canadian immigrant who was “very sad and disappointed” to realize that American elections were the stuff of a banana republic.

America’s long-haul truck drivers have stepped up. Thanks to the Amistad Project of the Thomas More Society, we have a sworn statement from Jesse Morgan, a Post Office subcontractor, alleging massive ballot fraud. Morgan said he transported nearly 300,000 completed mail-in ballots from Bethpage, N.Y. to Pennsylvania.

Morgan is a whistleblower, not a MAGA guy. He told Fox News on Tuesday that he didn’t vote in the election.

Another Post Office subcontractor, Nathan Pease, came forward to report 100,000 backdated ballots in Wisconsin. He is a libertarian, not a Republican. Nevertheless, he said: “I couldn’t go to the grave knowing what I knew and just keeping that to myself, knowing that something went wrong in this election.”

Something odd is afoot. The New York Times is too busy with hard-hitting investigative pieces on the Biden pets to pay attention to firsthand reports of illegality. Our cocksure overseers in social media have dialed down the purges. Twitter is neglecting to label true Trump tweets as false. They are ignoring the whistleblowers. They have forgotten the immortal advice to Tony Montana.

Somebody should maybe point all this out to Bill Fucking Barr, who appears to be blissfully unaware. Otherwise, things could easily go pear-shaped in one hell of a hurry.

If someone is a politician or public employee in on the Big Con, from any party, at any level above deputy assistant dogcatcher, after the coup is fully enabled, they’re going to be a high value target.

Nota bene: I’m not calling for this. That’s just what happens. It’s inevitable.

If someone is enabling the coup and gaslighting the reality of election fraud, via anything from twaddling on tweeter, to reading the nightly ABCNNBCBeeEss propaganda, they’re going to be a target.

If anyone gets between the Coup and The People, to defend the former from the justified wrath of the latter, they’re going to find out what feeding their jangly bits into a wood chipper – slowly – feels like, and deservedly so. (Doubt it? Go watch any number of videos of Ukrainian riot police getting hit with a shitstorm of Molotov cocktails in their APCs, and subsequently toasted alive, and get back to the class.)

ZFG.

Those desirous of collecting any pension should stand down, stay home, or switch sides. No warning shots will be fired. And after the first one, the rest are free, and there’s no point in moderation once that Rubicon is crossed.

I’m nowhere near as confident as Aesop is that enough Americans are still anything like as doughty as their forefathers were, nor even the Ukrainians mentioned above. We’ll all find out soon enough. But the bottom line is still the part in bold:

Think Three Stooges pie fight.
With land mines.
In a gasoline refinery.

And it isn’t about who gets elected.
It’s about whether elections matter at all, or not.
It’s about whether the republic stands, or falls.

It isn’t Trumpistas against Never-Trumpers.
It’s not going to be Democrats vs. Republicans.
It’s going to be constitutional republicans vs. banana republicans.
And they won’t be Goldwater republicans.
They’re going to be LeMay republicans.

Like I said, we’re going to find out soon enough what Americans are, and what they are not. How hideous it is to realize that we all have to hope and pray that a fight IS coming—that enough of us are willing to risk absolutely everything in order to stop this crime. Otherwise, we end up in an even worse place.

Again, while it may be tiresome, the lesson we should have learned is that passivity against tyranny is a fatal mistake. In such a struggle, there is no neutrality, but only its illusion. The adage is true — that the only realistic hope, of those who yield to authoritarian rule, is that they will be eaten last. However, their children will not survive that long.

We have ample warning of what the radical left will do to us should it prevail in today’s power struggle. Leftists have boldly announced it. They will trash our past; indoctrinate our children; and invite millions of noncitizens, who have no regard for our values, to vote. They will wreck our economy with predictably disastrous regulations in the name of saving the planet. Our enemies, correctly sensing weakness, will go to war against our national interests. Finally, the system will be rigged so there will never be another honest election. Having seized power, the left will never relinquish it without bloodshed. It never has. History testifies to it.

History also testifies that, bad as the above litany of abuse is, it’s still mild stuff indeed compared to what comes after.

What is more valuable to a free man than his freedom? Is it safety? Comfort? Love? His very life? Whatever treasures one can name, each of them, without freedom, is sooner or later forfeit.

Have we learned that?

I very much doubt we have, alas. Like I said, we’re about to find out. The one thing I’m sure of is that it ain’t gonna be fun.

If you are in fact a legit hooman bean desirous of registering yourself a CF user name so as to be able to comment only to find yourself caught up as collateral damage in one of my irregularly (un)scheduled sweeps for hinky registration attempts, please shoot me a kite at the email addy over in the right sidebar and let me know so’s I can get ya fixed up manually.

ALSO NOTE: You MUST use a valid, legit email address in order to successfully register, the new anti-spam software I installed last night requires it. My thanks to Barry for all his help sorting this mess out last night.

Comments appear entirely at the whim of the guy who pays the bills for this site and may be deleted, ridiculed, maliciously edited for purposes of mockery, or otherwise pissed over as he in his capricious fancy sees fit. The CF comments section is pretty free-form and rough and tumble; tolerance level for rowdiness and misbehavior is fairly high here, but is NOT without limit.

Management is under no obligation whatever to allow the comments section to be taken over and ruined by trolls, Leftists, and/or other oxygen thieves, and will take any measures deemed necessary to prevent such. Conduct yourself with the merest modicum of decorum, courtesy, and respect and you'll be fine. Pick pointless squabbles with other commenters, fling provocative personal insults, issue threats, or annoy the host (me) and...you won't.

Should you find yourself sanctioned after running afoul of the CF comments policy as stated and feel you have been wronged, please download and complete the Butthurt Report form below in quadruplicate; retain one copy for your personal records and send the others to the email address posted in the right sidebar.

Please refrain from whining, sniveling, and/or bursting into tears and waving your chubby fists around in frustrated rage, lest you suffer an aneurysm or stroke unnecessarily. Your completed form will be reviewed and your complaint addressed whenever management feels like getting around to it. Thank you.
