Democrats Melting Down: GOP Flips Long-Held Blue Seat in Iowa Special Election
Happy Wednesday. How are things going for Democrats today? Let’s review a handful of headlines. (1) Out of Iowa, a legislative seat that has been in Democratic hands for decades is no longer blue. Over the summer, Republicans won back a state senate seat in affluent, suburban, Trump-hostile Connecticut. Last night, they picked off a different sort of district. Trump carried it, but it had remained blue at the state legislative level, even in recent cycles with Trump on the ballot. Change.
Thank merciful Heaven, we’re all saved!! Yep, things are gonna be a lot different in Mordor on the Potomac from now on, just you wait and see.

Strategically, losing a few odd seats now would be a good feint.
While I don’t make much of this particular election, the will to win in way to many people is dead. Y’all talk about taking up arms, but dissuade anyone from voting for fear it’s so rigged it doesn’t matter.
They won’t need to rig it if you don’t show up and vote.
Vote anyway. Don’t lose because you don’t vote. Make them steal it. Make them steal it so visibly that the population that is currently too ignorant to know the vote was stolen can no longer ignore the truth.
I’ve been saying that all along. Vote. Tell them you’re not happy. Even if they toss it or negate it with fraud, they still see massive amounts of FU sent their way.
Yea, I know you have. The comment wasn’t directed towards you, but towards all those people that declare voting is useless.
I also understand their position. Nothing is going to change except at the local level by voting.
However, I do point out that it’s limited usefulness as a Protest, for what it’s worth, is all we got until we get a critical mass of people willing to go for alternatives.
Which is why it’s heartening to see these “sickouts” or “work slowdowns” or whatever it’s called (May as well call them Fuck Joe Biden Actions for now) gaining some momentum. If DeSantis continues his defiance and some other governors can join the fray that’s a good thing too.
Call it the FJB Flu.
