Why, oh why don’t you care, Mr. Bushitler?

October 5th, 2005

Ick:

MIAMI – The alligator has some foreign competition at the top of the Everglades food chain, and the results of the struggle are horror-movie messy.

A 13-foot Burmese python recently burst after it apparently tried to swallow a live, six-foot alligator whole, authorities said.

The snake was found with the gator’s hindquarters protruding from its midsection. Mazzotti said the alligator may have clawed at the python’s stomach as the snake tried to digest it.

In previous incidents, the alligator won or the battle was an apparent draw.

“There had been some hope that alligators can control Burmese pythons,” Mazzotti said. “This indicates to me it’s going to be an even draw. Sometimes alligators are going to win and sometimes the python will win.”

I blame Bush’s failure to ratify the Kyoto treaty for this, personally. Or perhaps his hideous, amoral refusal to meet with Saint Cindy of Sheehan maybe.

And yes, there’s a picture included with the linked story.

It most definately is not Bush's fault! It seems clear that the aligator was inspired and emboldened by dissenting rhetoric originating from some sort of french sounding python lurking in the background.

So, how does a Burmese python make it all the way to Florida anyway? Huh? Huh? Any ideas?

It's all Bushitler's fault, of course. But I don't think it's because of Kyoto. It's got to be because of the WTO. C'mon, People. Think about it. Bushitler sent Wolfowitz to the World Bank so that he could influence the WTO to start importing these foreign pythons into our wetlands to ruin our environment. It's ALL ABOUT THE OIL!

/imitating . Man. It's a lot of work twisting your thinking like that.

I'm surprised that he doesn't care...snakes and such are right up his biblical alley:

BBC News: “President Bush said to all of us: 'I'm driven with a mission from God. God would tell me, ”George, go and fight those terrorists in Afghanistan.“ And I did, and then God would tell me, ”George, go and end the tyranny in Iraq …“ And I did.”

And now, again, I feel God's words coming to me, “Go get the Palestinians their state and get the Israelis their security, and get peace in the Middle East." And by God I'm gonna do it.'”

...seems to me that he'd love a chance to handle a few vipers.

By the way, when will you admit that you've (presumably by mistake) put a lunatic in the White House?
  9. October 6th, 2005 at 16:28 | #9
A lunatic in the White House? But Dean was eliminated early on in the primaries, remember?

Ahh, Zorro. The only benefit to having our comments down was missing your daily dose of insanity.

And your silly little "quote", second-hand from the BBC, is attributed to President Bush by some minor-league Palestinian "negotiator" named Nabil Shaath, so it must be true, right? We all know the fountain of verity that is Palestine would never lie to us kafir, so best to take his word against your President's. How very ... patriotic of you. Tell me, do you have "useful idiot" monogrammed on all your shirts?

You continue to redefine the low points of stupid and uninformed with every comment you make, Zorro.

  11. October 6th, 2005 at 21:29 | #11
Actually, I don't think "stupid" quite meets the case, Joe. He's just seeing who he can fool with info from wholly untrustworthy sources, and it's hardly the first time he's done so here. As any liberal journalist would do -- in fact, as has been the Left's MO for decades now -- he's promoting his depraved viewpoint at the expense not only of his country but of the truth itself.

Referencing the BBC, (which is under investigation/undergoing a whitewash for severe anti-Semitism and anti-Americanism) Shakespeare only got it half right. But then, in Shakespeare's day, journalists weren't exactly the enemies of humanity that our present day crop is proving themselves.

Rope. Journalist. Lamp post. Some assembly required.

Zorro, you cowardly fuck, I thought you resolved to get the hell out of here and peddle your insanity with the rest of the Kosmonauts. How the hell do expect us to respect anything you say if you can't keep your word about a matter as simple as that?

Anyway...as to your comment Joe. Mike's post was a bit funny, so I commented with something equally funny (or not...).

As we move forward, and a good many members of this administration and their cronies wind up doin' time, it will turn out that YOU wear the "useful idiot" label for defending these liars crooks and loonies.

Nothing like having the ignorant try to return an insult they don't understand. Next you'll be telling me my support for my President, my country, and it's troops makes me the lying, treasonous bastard, not you, right, Zorro?

I can certainly understand your boredom with the Kossacks, though.

I understood perfectly...your statement contradicts itself: you cannot support this country and its troops by supporting THIS president. You naively support your man, Dubya, simply because he holds an office you (and I) respect.

I choose to separate the man from the position he inhabits, you do not. You are a useful idiot.

Yup, that's me. Naive. No way I could be as swave and deboner as you, right, Zorro?

I choose to separate the man from the position he inhabits, you do not.

How would you know? There's a word for someone who proceeds from erroneous assumptions and a lack of critical judgement, but I just can't put my finger on it ... sure fits you, though.

"How would you know?" Joe asks...

I know only what you provide:
"...my support for my President, my country, and it’s troops makes me the lying, treasonous bastard"

I assume only as much as I am told.
