“Socialist revolution is underway in America”

UNDERWAY?

America is now in the midst of a communist revolution that is trying to centralize power through bringing every element of the U.S. government, from the lowest levels to the top, under the control of the executive branch, said author and filmmaker Trevor Loudon.

“Therefore, the independence of the legislature, the independence of the supreme court, the independence of the sheriffs and the police must all be destroyed, and the loyalty of the army to the Constitution must be transferred to loyalty to the president,” Loudon said in an interview with The Epoch Times’ Crossroads program.

“And this is guided by socialists. I believe it’s guided by the Communist Party of China,” Loudon said. The revolution uses race “rather than class to overturn the existing structures of society and start something new.”

Lots, lots, LOTS more good stuff at the link, most of which has been said before in this h’yar hogwallow. That doesn’t mean it ain’t worth reading anyway, though.

Update! Only barely related, perhaps, but since it’s from Loudon’s website, that’s close enough.

Just when the Republicans are poised to dump Rep. Liz Cheney from House GOP leadership, they are embracing ex-masculine man Caitlyn Jenner as a candidate for Governor of California. Caitlyn, once known as Bruce, immediately went on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show in high heels to be crowned as the new conservative white trans hope.

The GOP will evolve from the status of the stupid party into the pansy party, driving real men away and giving a confusing message about masculinity.

The endorsement of the faux woman Jenner comes on the eve of Mother’s Day, May 9, when real women are celebrated for giving birth to real boys and girls.

Any nation that wants to survive into the future has to reproduce boys and girls, not make boys into girls.

On the heels of his/her Hannity appearance, the conservative-oriented Just the News website proclaimed, “Jenner lays out conservative platform in bid to become next California governor,” with a subheadline about the candidate describing herself as “pro-law enforcement,” “pro-border protection,” and “pro-ICE.”

He/she was quick to proclaim, “No boys in girls sports,” appealing to conservatives who believe in biological differences between the sexes. But since this is a woman who was once a man, a famous Olympic athlete, one has to wonder what’s going on here. It’s either a publicity stunt or a Democratic Party plot to make Republicans look silly.

Heh. As if they needed any help. In anyt event, I must strongly disagree with Jenner’s position on that last, and applaud this welcome development.

A biological male will be allowed to compete at an Olympics weightlifting competition in the women’s super heavyweight category.

Laurel Hubbard, a 43-year-old New Zealander, used to compete in men’s weightlifting but after repeatedly losing he ‘transitioned’ in 2013 and now competes against women.

Hubbard is eligible to compete in the Olympics because “the IOC issued new guidelines allowing transgenders to compete as women as long as their testosterone levels are below 10 nanomoles per liter for at least 12 months before the competition,” Reuters reported.

Hubbard has angered many in the weightlifting world in the last several years, and rightfully so.

Good, good. Seeing as how we’ve been strongarmed into full compliance with the feminazi shibboleth declaring that there is NO difference between the sexes—NONE—as well as swallowing whole the contention of unhinged transvestites that to believe oneself female is to in fact be female, it would be a gross injustice to disallow this mediocre-as-a-man lifter from “transitioning” into a world-beater in the wymrynz’ competition.

In fact, in obeisance to the new “reality” foisted onto us by deranged freaks, I see absolutely no reason whatsoever that satisfactorily-evolved Persynxz should tolerate separate sportsball leagues, events, or classifications of any kind. I ask you all: aren’t female-only entities such as the WNBA, college women’s softball teams, GLOW, etc the living definition of segregation? And has segregation not been universally recognized, since the hallowed Civil Rights movement of the 1960s, as completely intolerable, the Sin of all Sins? Do we or do we not believe in equality as the most quintessentially American of ideals?

One of Kurt Schlichter’s perennial favorites is his New Rules trope, which is kinda-sorta an inversion of Alinsky’s Rule 4, a way to turn it back on Progressivists: “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.” And hey, as someone who has long advocated fighting fire with fire, I’m good with that. So yeah, let men compete as whichever of Baskin-Robbins 37 Flavors Of Gender (and counting!) they “identify” as that particular day. Let burly bull-daggers try out for interior linemen in the NFL if that’s what they think they want to do. Let boxers be classified according to weight exclusively, leaving sex out of it altogether as the archaic artifact of misogynist, patriarchal bigotry they tell us it is. As a forward-looking, tolerant, Progressivist society, let our minds be open so wide our damned brains fall out.

Let’s make the feminazis embrace the principles they profess—no exceptions, no exemptions, no set-asides or special privileges. Let’s make every last shitlib Leftard live up to their own rules at long, long last. Let’s see how they like it.

Alien occupation

They ain’t us.

Over the years I have come to realize that the world of politics and our world disconnected at some point. There has always been a separation of politics and regular life, but with enough movement back and forth to keep both sides tethered to one another. There was also the practical reality of politics depending on popular support. If things got bad for the people, they may try to hang the king, so the king had to keep an eye on them.

Today they are completely different worlds. I have a segment on Liz Cheney. Her life may as well have been lived in another solar system. Technically, she is supposed to be representing the interests of Wyoming in the people’s house. In reality, she is the Cloud People’s representative to the Dirt People of Wyoming. She may as well correspond with them via video link, like the alien overlords in sci-fi movies. “People of Wyoming, this is your humanoid representative. Obey and listen to instructions.”

Again, all societies, regardless of the form of government, have a ruling elite that is often at odds with and out of touch with the people. That is why there are subsystems that provide feedback to the decision makers. That is the problem that parliaments are supposed to solve. How best to keep the rulers and the ruled in communication so both sides understand the other enough to avoid conflict. Today, those feedback loops no longer exist. The political system operates in isolation from us.

The result is we have the Dirt People thinking they live in a representative democracy where their votes dictate public policy. The Cloud People think they live in a novel form of dictatorship where their decisions are applauded by the masses. It is why so many of the Cloud People are convinced there is an evil conspiracy afoot to rile up the masses against the system. Why else would they not be clapping? From their perspective, the system is running as expected, so the opposition is illogical.

The Dirt People, having been trained their whole lives to think the humanoids they choose between in elections care about their votes, are baffled by why those humanoids never following instructions. Unable to question the logic of the system itself, they come up with novel theories about why the Cloud People are doing the things they are doing. At some point, the right answer is “they are not us”.

Indeed they aren’t—which is the consequence of allowing a Professional Politician class (or ProPols, as I’ve taken to calling them of late) to rise and flourish. This most regrettable lapse into inattentiveness, and its inevitable result, is exactly what the Founders—in their remarkable wisdom and foresight—dreaded, feared, and explicitly cautioned their posterity against. The very idea of making a career out of politics, as opposed to doing a term or two of what can no longer be referred to as “public service” with a straight face, was anathema to them. Just one more thing those titans among men got right.

I’ll say it again: our problems don’t stem from some shortcoming of the Constitution’s, nor even from the long-extinct government for which that neglected and abused document was the foundation. The Founders’ blueprint for proper governance, the US Constitution, was as close to flawless as fallen humanity could possibly come. It has never yet been surpassed, and it’s unlikely that it ever will be. The simple, obvious fact that the further we stray from it the worse our situation gets ought to be all the demonstration of it anybody should ever need. Call it the Constitution’s real-world proof of concept, maybe.

We are where we are today not because the Founders were lacking in vision or foresight. On the contrary, things have turned out precisely as they predicted they would, should their descendents ever foolishly disregard their warnings and relax their vigilance against tyranny. The failure was in no way theirs. It was ours.

An old story

VERY old—2500 years, at the very least.

The vulnerability of political freedom and popular sovereignty to tyranny has been a constant theme in political philosophy for 2500 years. It profoundly influenced the creators of the Constitution, an important purpose of which is to forestall the tyranny that destroys political freedom and citizen rule. In the writings of Classical philosophers and historians the Founders could see the blueprint for such a tyranny––one we have seen unfolding in the last few decades, and accelerating in the policies of the current administration.

The Greek historian Polybius in the second century B.C. laid out how a democracy degenerates into tyranny:

So when [the rich] begin to hanker after office, and find that they cannot achieve it through their own efforts or on their merits, they begin to seduce and corrupt the people in every possible way, and thus ruin their estates. The result is that through their senseless craving for prominence they stimulate among the masses both an appetite for bribes and the habit of receiving them, and then the rule of democracy is transformed into government by violence and strong-arm methods. By this time the people have become accustomed to feed at the expense of others, and their prospects of winning a livelihood depend upon the property of their neighbors, and as soon as they find a leader who is sufficiently ambitious and daring…they introduce a regime based on violence.

Many of these preconditions already exist in our country.

A litany of specifics follows, all of which will no doubt be familiar to CF Lifers, before the piece closes out with the part I really wanted to get to:

Finally, Polybius’ link of tyrannic ambition to mediocre politicians who “hanker after office, and find that they cannot achieve it through their own efforts or on their merits,” describes Biden to a T. Biden is a long-time senator with few legislative achievements he still will own, a vicious pit-bull on the Senate Judiciary Committee where he shamelessly demagogued Robert Bork and Clarence Thomas, a plagiarizer and unseemly harasser of women, a two-time loser in his bid for the presidency, a fabulist and grifter who monetized the office of Vice President to enrich his family, and a lightweight so light that his own boss, Barack Obama, said, “Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to fuck things up.” Only a pandemic, disruptive lock-downs, and the Democrat primary threat of socialist Bernie Sanders––along with a probably fraudulent election, and a groveling media running interference–– could get such a meritless mediocrity into the Oval Office.

It made me giggle a little, seeing those one-hundred-percent-true-and-accurate characterizations all gathered together in one convenient paragraph. How bizarre that the wholly lackluster, unpleasant, and talentless C-list actor Biden had been stalled in the role of The Guy Nobody Wanted for so many years, only to suddenly find himself recast by the producers of the show as The Guy Everybody Would Accept just as the final curtain was falling.

Sleep, sleeeeeep

Since the successful theft of the 2020 “election,” the installation of Befuddled Joey Diddleyfingers as figurehead of the Occupation Government, and the likewise-fraudulently overhyped Jan 6th tempest in a teapot, I find myself becoming more and more impatient with all the purblind Pollyannas of the Vote Harderer!™ movement. This has led me to give up reading a depressing number of Righty pundits who I had previously much admired, and whose take on things I reliably agreed with.

It saddens me deeply to have to add the once-great Kurt Schlichter to that ever-lengthening list.

Clean House in 2025

Shoulda been done in 2017, too late to do it now. Trump’s baffling failure to do so—whether out of naive cluelessness, or because he was always in on the Swamp scam himself as some assert—is the main reason he’s out in the cold now and is going to stay that way, no matter how many new websites he launches.

When President DeSantis is sworn in at 12:00 pm on January 20, 2025, he should give a short speech and by 12:10 be firing people. Lots of people.

Okay, it might not be the current Florida governor – we do know it’s not going to be Gov. Nikki! Haley (R – Establishment) or Kristi! Noem (R-NCAA) – but whoever beats Kamala Harris like a drum needs to come into the Oval Office ready to clear-cut the bureaucracy.

Riiiight. Because, having just pulled off the greatest political hijacking of all time, there’s absolutely no reason at all to think the Uniparty cabal would dare to do it again next time around.

Sheesh.

Every keen observer understands that Donald Trump’s first and foremost failure as president was personnel. He did not get it right until the end, and then it was far too late. There are two reasons for this. The first is that for all his iconoclasm, Trump used to believe in our institutions and it took him a while to see how totally corrupt they truly are. For years, he gave the NYT interviews even as it trashed him because, well, it was the Times and the Times was prestigious.

For much of his term, he had that same kind of deference to establishment figures. He thought Rex Tillerson would be great because he was a rich head of a huge corporation. He thought generals were impressive because they had medals, and he famously got shafted by each and every one of them that he relied upon. He thought, for too long, that the DoJ and FBI and other agencies really had America’s interests at heart instead of the liberal establishment’s priorities.
It was all baloney.

They were all terrible, and they all worked ceaselessly to undermine and even imprison him. It was only at the end that Trump found trustworthy folks who would do their jobs instead of pursue outside agendas. For example, Trump’s third National Security Advisor, Robert O’Brien, was the best National Security Advisor maybe ever – gee, he only oversaw peace achieving in the Middle East – and the reason you might not recognize his name is because he never became the story like McMaster or Bolton. Mike Pompeo – who also will never be president, sorry – was likewise a loyal and effective Secretary of State. But it took almost four years to get the team on-board.

Fine and well so far; so stipulated, without demur. And then off the rails we go again.

The other issue was that Trump had no Rolodex. The other issue was that Trump had no Rolodex. The Bush cabal had thousands of loyal obedient minions/potential staffers to call upon in the off-chance that hell froze over and Jeb! got elected to something other than “Most Likely to Fail.” Trump had no one to call. That’s a big part of why his administration was staffed with people who had zero loyalty and spent their time undermining him and his policies.

Dude, SRSLY?!? One of the most successful, savvy, well-known, and well-connected NYC movers and shakers in history “had no Rolodex”? It’s difficult for me to accept that there could still be anybody out there with intact powers of observation who truly believes that.

President De Santis will not have that problem – there’s a whole generation of experienced conservatives out there to call upon to staff his administration. And they will to be ready to separate the wheat form the chaff when they take up their places.

President De Santis will certainly not have that problem, right enough…because there ain’t gonna BE any “President De Santis,” and whichever mental-defective, rumpswab, or common con artist the Uniparty fiends put on offer will assuredly NOT be beaten like a drum. As for that “whole generation of experienced conservatives” bushwa: what, you mean there weren’t any of those available before, but now they all of a sudden sprout up just when they’re needed most? Puh-LEEZE.

He needs to get to firing. And right away.

No, Trump needed to do that. He was the last desperate throw of the dice; the opportunity was missed, and there ain’t no do-overs or second chances in this game.

It just goes on from there, all adding up to yet another clueless, pointless Meat Beat Manifesto—the same sad daydream, unvaried and futile as ever.

Update! WE’RE SAVED!!!

GOP Now Threatening to Break up Facebook After Decision Upholding Ban on Trump

BWAAAAA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHASUCKERRRRS!

As we reported earlier today, Facebook’s Oversight Board upheld the social media platform’s indefinite ban on President Donald Trump, despite also finding that an indefinite ban violated Facebook’s own rules and calling on the platform to “determine and justify a proportionate response that is consistent with the rules that are applied to other users of its platform.” They gave the platform six months to come up with that proportionate response.

The decision was not well received by Republicans who already feel that the platform has not been fair to them and imposes its rules unevenly.

Mark Meadows, President Donald Trump’s former chief of staff decried the decision and said that members of Congress were looking into whether they needed to break up Facebook.

Coming soon: the appointment of a blue ribbon panel to look into this very, very, very grave issue. Follows, Congressional hearings, in which Fuckerberg will be brought in to lie his ass off like he did the last seventeen times. After that, another rigged election to convince all you pesky rubes that you really DO have a say in how you’re governed. Then: FREE COOKIES!!!

Gah.

An oligarchy, if you can keep it

Not sure why anybody would want to.

What are hundreds of America’s biggest corporations doing as they browbeat the public to abolish the requirement of identification for voting? What are Twitter, Facebook, et al. doing when they prohibit people from sharing facts that are inconvenient to government policy or (and) the Democratic Party? What did banks do when they turned over to the FBI the records of persons who happened to have traveled to D.C. near January 6? And what about all those big retail stores—you know, the ones that the government designated “essential,” the ones that thrived under the lockdowns—what are they doing when they continue to demand that you wear masks on their property regardless of vaccination? What are colleges and universities, even K-12 schools doing when they deprive of opportunities young people who do not fit woke profiles? And what do all of them do when they dismiss complaints that they are violating your Constitutional rights by telling you that they are exercising their own private rights?

Are they simply fronting for the government or, specifically, for the Democratic Party?

Wait, you’re telling me there’s a difference?

Understanding what is happening in America begins with dismissing such silly questions. Focus, instead, on the fact that those who rule us in all these matters are essentially the same people. They are interchangeable, with near-identical interests, loves, hates, and tastes. Often, they are friends and colleagues, and are united about coercing whomever is not on their own sociopolitical side. Whether the institutions they control are public or private under our Constitutional system has ceased to matter. These persons are responsible for the sharp diminution in all manner of freedoms we have experienced since at least 2016, and especially since 2020.

Americans struggle to understand what is happening because we still regard ourselves as citizens, and imagine that those who run our republican institutions still respect them to some extent. We see persons whom the ruling class favors committing crimes with impunity, and complain of “a two-tiered justice system.” But this is not mere corruption. We see corporations wielding government powers and complain that power is being franchised to favorites. But these are not mere favorites of the regime. This is the new regime being itself. Such things are not deviations from republican legality. They are the assertion of oligarchic reality. This is oligarchic justice, oligarchic normality. The republic was yesterday. The oligarchy is today.

Conservatives’ congenital mistake is to try conserving something that no longer exists by supporting institutions that now belong to a regime so alien to republican life that it treats attempts at citizenship as crimes against the regime. And so they are. They call today’s American regime “our democracy.” It is “theirs,” all right, but not ours. It is a classic oligarchy.

I must admit that I’m constantly guilty myself of a classification error when it comes to what specific flavor of tyranny we’re now being strangled by, usually referring to it as Marxist, socialist, Communist, what have you—perhaps for convenience’s sake, or out of laziness, or just force of habit. As with the increasingly meaningless Left-Right dichotomy, everyone knows what I mean by it, so there’s no real harm done. Nonetheless, it’s linguistically and conceptually sloppy, a fact I’m well aware of. In truth, the most accurate name for Amerika v2.0’s current system would have to be fascism.

Oligarchy also meets the case well enough, being more or less a sub-branch of fascism itself, so I have no bone to pick with Codevilla to this point. But I’m about to.

What’s an Ex-citizen To Do?
First, stop pretending. Begin by rejecting—in heart and mind entirely, and publicly as prudence may dictate—the authority of the oligarchs who now control what used to be our republican institutions. Realize that you enjoy the rights God gave you only to the extent that your fellow ex-citizens recognize them, and that your only hope of continuing enjoyment lies in leaguing with them, on turning your back on the oligarchy and on effectively living republican lives with similarly minded people.

Citizenship is possible only when the many join together in the kind of mixed regime for the general good that our oligarchs rejected. Turning our backs to the oligarchy is possible for the twin purpose of rejecting un-republican rule and as the assertion of a new republican way of life. Citizenship happens when individuals join together under leaders of their choice to achieve common goals, both positive and negative.

Rejection of oligarchy is possible, even easy, if and when large numbers of persons do it together.

“Easy”? Oh, sure…right up until the moment forty masked FBI goons in full battle-rattle kick in your door in the wee hours of the night, then proceed to haul you and yours off to the Googlag™ for a lengthy stretch of retributive “justice” for your willful nonconformity. “Rejection of oligarchy” suddenly gets a lot tougher then.

Our oligarchs, having seen how easy it was to cower the majority of Americans to agree to the stupid, self-destructive practices of mask-wearing and lockdowns, having rejoiced in ruining the lives of small numbers of individual dissenters, believing that, under the media’s cover, their threats to crush opponents as white supremacists will forestall serious resistance, fantasize about applying the tools of the war on terror to America’s population.

But no. Their success was due to what remained of the American people’s confidence in them. That is now gone. The oligarchs have the FBI and CIA, and the Pentagon’s generals. But who will risk his pension, never mind his life, for them? Who will risk anything for Kamala Harris, never mind Joseph Biden?

Wrong question, Angelo. The one we should be asking is: who will dare to risk his freedom, his financial well-being, and even his very life to defy them?

Biden and his Deep State puppeteers know that their success is due not to the American people’s—or anybody else’s—confidence or trust, and they’re not troubled in the least by it. Their contempt for the Slave Class is deep enough that our masters are perfectly fine with a continued grip on unlimited power based entirely on intimidation, oppression, and fear instead.

When Constitutional government veered off into Tyranny Gulch

With Progressivists at the wheel, natch.

The deep significance of H.R. 1 is that we no longer live in the Founders’ republic.

In a recent column at American Greatness, Glenn Ellmers describes how H.R. 1 would have fared in the American republic we once had (italics in original):

Instead of the unseemly groveling from the states, objecting to H.R.1, state legislatures could be instructing the Senate to reject this absurd legislation.

The state legislatures certainly would have instructed the Senate to reject H.R. 1, and they could have done so because in the original Constitution, senators were chosen by, and were answerable to, the state legislatures.

The wisdom of the Framers is nowhere more evident than in this feature of their constitutional design. It was the central pillar of the Framers’ vision for how we would rule ourselves by means of a government by, for, and of the people. As I wrote in my book about the founding entitled Common Sense Nation:

The Senate had been a barrier to the passage of federal laws infringing on the powers reserved to state governments, but the Senate has abandoned that responsibility under the incentives of the new system of election. Because the states no longer have a powerful standing body representing their interests within the federal government, the power of the federal government has rapidly grown at the expense of the states.

Consequently, the power of the federal government has also rapidly grown at the expense of individual liberty.

The Framers’ purpose was a regime of liberty that would endure. Their challenge was to find a way to prevent the central government from doing what central governments do: take on more and more power, crush liberty, and rule for the benefit of the rulers. Their brilliant solution was federalism. Lord Acton, the great historian of liberty, admired their innovation:

Federalism: It is coordination instead of subordination; association instead of hierarchical order; independent forces curbing each other; balance, therefore, liberty.

The direct election of U.S. senators undermined this critically important protection of your liberty and mine. The result has been the erosion of the liberty that was the Founders’ precious gift to each one of us.

Which was the whole idea. We laugh at Progressivists for their stupidity, and that’s fair enough; they are stupid. But, as I so frequently warned about Bath House Barry back in the day, stupidity in no way implies one can’t be cunning. Alhough the two aren’t synonymous, they can still be more mutually reinforcing than mutually exclusive. Thus:

The ratification of the 17th Amendment in 1913 changed everything. It provided for the direct election of senators. By means of it, the Progressives overthrew the American republic in that year. Although it is painful to admit, we must acknowledge that the American Progressives took the lead in making the 20th century the horrendous catastrophe for liberty it was. They got out ahead of both the Bolsheviks in Russia (1917) and the National Fascist Party in Italy (1922). Not only did the Progressives get going first, they have outlasted the Bolsheviks and the fascists. The USSR, Hitler’s Germany, Mussolini’s Italy, and Tojo’s Japan are long gone, but Progressivism in America is going from strength to strength, today promising to transform America fundamentally with H.R. 1 and open borders, by abolishing the Electoral College and the 2nd Amendment, and by turning the Supreme Court into a kind of left-wing super-Legislature beyond the reach of the voters.

The Progressives have outdone the communists and the fascists by being by far the cleverest of the three. They presented the 17th Amendment to the American people in the guise of a “reform.” The Progressives knew what they were doing.

Distasteful as it to admit it, they did at that. And still do, apparently, seeing as how they managed to oust Trump and are now firmly and fully in charge, with no respite from their all-encompassing despotism in sight.

Forever nullifying the very concept of States’ Rights via the bone-simple expedient of revoking representation of their interests in Congress, in direct contravention of the Founders’ intentions—downgrading the more or less independent status of the states as the “laboratories of democracy” to make them abject vassals of a constantly-expanding federal Leviathan—thereby converting the “several states” in one fell swoop into no more than officially-licensed subdivisions of FederalGovCo™, dependent on the financial largesse of Mordor On The Potomac and cringingly subservient to their Dark Lord, may very well have been Progressivism’s most cunning stunt ever.

The future is now

Contra Tom Wolfe’s well-known witticism, looks like the dark night of fascism finally DID land here after all.

In America, people who committed a misdemeanor by entering the Capitol without permission are still rotting in jail in solitary confinement without ever having had a hearing. The situation is so dire and un-American that Senators Elizabeth Warren and Dick Durbin, both proponents of total government, protested:

Most of the 300-plus people charged with participating in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot have been released while they await trial, but dozens of those deemed to be dangerous, flight risks or at high risk of obstructing justice were ordered held without bond. D.C. jail officials later determined that all Capitol detainees would be placed in so-called restrictive housing — a move billed as necessary to keep the defendants safe, as well as guards and other inmates. But that means 23-hour-a-day isolation for the accused, even before their trials begin.

And such treatment doesn’t sit well with Warren or Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), two of the chamber’s fiercest critics of solitary confinement.

“Solitary confinement is a form of punishment that is cruel and psychologically damaging,” Warren said in an interview. “And we’re talking about people who haven’t been convicted of anything yet.”

Shocking, certainly, considering the source. But hey, when you’re right, you’re right. Further evidence abounds:

On Wednesday, federal agents flashing open-ended warrants conducted a 6 A.M. raid on former New York mayor and current Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani to seize his electronics. The ostensible reason was that Giuliani violated a law requiring Americans who represent foreign nationals to register as foreign agents. This is a law that is enforced only against Republicans close to Trump — and Giuliani is adamant that he’s never represented foreign nationals.

The agents ostentatiously refused to seize copies of Hunter Biden’s hard drives, which Giuliani possessed, even though they were obvious electronic devices. Giuliani contends that the hard drives’ contents establish not only that Hunter and Joe Biden acted as unregistered foreign agents, but also that Joe Biden and his family took millions in bribes over the years and that Hunter Biden was engaged in child pornography. Since Giuliani still has the hard drives, perhaps he should make all the information on the drives public.

On the evidence available, what’s happening to Giuliani looks like typical fascism: an incoming regime uses unequally applied law and a complete absence of due process to purge all political opposition.

And in the perfect public-private partnership that makes fascism a different kind of socialism from communism, the tech tyrants continue to act as the federal government’s censorship arm.

At the end of the day, unless we want the dark night of fascism to become a permanent fixture in America, we’d better act to stop the Democrats from using the unequal application of our laws and the manufactured fear of COVID (a virus that more than 99% of us will have survived) to gain total power.

Problem is, there’s only one effective means of doing so at this late date—a fearful, desperate last resort which most Real Americans are understandably reluctant to embrace, and in no way guarantees anything other than horror and misery. Not condemning said reluctance, mind. But confronting certain unpleasant realities is much better than attempting to evade them. In fact, our national averting of the eyes, denial of harsh truths, and desire to postpone an inevitable reckoning is in large measure what brought us to this sorry pass in the first place.

No decent or rational person wants war, ever. Even so, just as history teaches that Communism has not, will not, and cannot work as advertised, it also offers another uncomfortable but essential lesson: those who think to avert war via disgraceful, dishonest, or self-deceptive measures often find themselves in a more protracted and terrible struggle than they might otherwise have faced.

From my cold, dead hands

Which terms, don’t let’s kid ourselves, will be perfectly acceptable to the rotten fascist bastards.

So the oligarchs had Biden mask up and meet our other rulers, via Zoom, to discuss our next big panic. Global cooling.

According to one report, “President Joe Biden’s ambitious plan to slash greenhouse emissions by 50 to 52 percent over the next decade could prompt sweeping changes that could affect how Americans eat, drive and heat their homes.”

Smash!

How Biden smash? Biden take charge! By taking away your meat and having you consume oligarch-owned corporate-produced high-margin food-like plant-and-chemical-based concoctions. Yes, the oligarchs will grow wealthier once you’re forced to give up the healthiest food there is, but you will do your part in ensuring global cooling doesn’t contribute to a tenth of a degree change in globally averaged temperature in the next century.

Specifically (same source):

Americans may have to cut their red meat consumption by a whopping 90 percent and cut their consumption of other animal based foods in half.

Gradually making those changes by 2030 could see diet-related greenhouse gas emissions reduced by 50 percent, according to a study by Michigan University’s Center for Sustainable Systems.

To do that, it would require Americans to only consume about four pounds of red meat per year, or 0.18 ounces per day.

It equates to consuming roughly one average sized burger per month.

What would all those corporate-owned burger joints do, complain? No, sir. They’ll make the switch to chemical cuts and serve up “impossible” and “beyond meat” “burgers”. And charge more for them, likely, to both increase their profits and convince you it’s your fear-based duty to pay more and “save the planet”.

My dears, the planet isn’t going anywhere and is no need of saving.

Doesn’t matter, of course. The Climate Change (formerly Global Warming, formerly Global Cooling, formerly “the weather”) hoax is a subterfuge, a flimsy mask covering their real agenda.

The University of Michigan, as you have seen, is given credit for some of these “studies.” The Beyond Meat company commissioned one such study from UM’s “Center for Sustainable Systems“. And Lo, this study found—or is discovered more appropriate?—Beyond Meat good, real meat bad.

…Let’s look at the “study”, commissioned by Beyond Meat in their quest to discover whether real meat was better or worse than the fake meat they were selling. What do you think they found—or discovered—in this study? This:

Based on a comparative assessment of the current Beyond Burger production system with the 2017 beef LCA by Thoma et al, the Beyond Burger generates 90% less greenhouse gas emissions, requires 46% less energy, has >99% less impact on water scarcity and 93% less impact on land use than a 1/4 pound of U.S. beef.

So important was this finding—or discovery—they used italics to announce it. That’s how you know it’s true.

Looks like money well spent for Beyond Meat! But don’t applaud yet, because there’s more!

The Center for Sustainable Systems kept at it, finding—or discovering—meat accounts for “56.6%” of “greenhouse gases contribution by food type in [an] average diet.” Not 56.5%. No way. It was much more serious. It was 56.6%. That level of numeric specificity is what makes it science.

The saddest part, I think, is what will predictably follow this opening round of battlespace prep. First, we’ll get the usual comment-section chest-thumpery at various Righty blogs, stoutly declaring that Biden’s Deep State wardens “WOULDN’T DARE” do this, or “cannot” do it, because Muh Constitution! and miscellaneous other wishful thinking. Then comes the defiant op-ed nattering about how WE’RE REALLY GONNA GET THOSE DEMOCRATS, by electing more Republicans in the elections of 2022, 2024, 2026, 2028, &c &c. Yep, those damned Commies are really gonna rue the day after we take back Congress again! Next up: a steaming, stinking pantload of the they’re scared of us! because we have all the guns! variety of blah de blah de blahblahblah.

The result of all this self-deceptive pud-pounding? In only a few short years, “Independence Day” cookouts across this benighted disgrace of a nation (assuming official government permission) will see all those obstreperous self-proclaimed guardians of liberty happily chomping away on delicious, Gaia-preserving “burgers” made in a corporate chem lab from crushed cockroaches, lawnmower leftovers, toenail clippings, and Soylent Green, in the most grand and glorious celebration of Our Precious ‘Murkin Freedom™ ever. The disgusting things would probably taste somewhat better if they were grilled over some good ol’ traditional Kingsford briquettes. Which unfortunately won’t be available, having been banned well before as the deadly menace they so truly are.

Just you wait, my friends. Just you wait.

A trifle too satanic?

Or demonic, if you want to be kind about it.

Joe Biden’s party must be thinking — if you call it thinking — that being psychotic isn’t enough… it’s time to go demonic! How else to explain the supernatural doings of the folks in charge of things in our nation’s capital. The casual observer might suppose that these things are spinning out of control, but you also have to wonder how much Joe Biden & Company are spinning them that way. Are they looking to start a war, for instance?

Three weeks ago, Ol’ White Joe called Vladimir Putin “a killer.”  This week, Ol’ Joe called Vlad on the phone and suggested a friendly in-person meet-up in some “third country.” In the meantime, Ol’ Joe essayed to send a couple of US warships into the Black Sea to assert America’s interest in Ukraine, the failed state whose American-sponsored failure was engineered in 2014 by Barack Obama’s State Department. Turkey, which controls the narrow entrance to the Black Sea, was notified that two US destroyers would be steaming through its territory. Hours after the announcement, the US called off the ships. Then, hours after Ol’ Joe proffered that summit meeting, his State Department imposed new economic sanctions on Russia and tossed out a dozen or so Russian embassy staff. How’s that for a coherent foreign policy?

What’s going on in Ukraine, anyway? The US and NATO have prompted Ukraine to move troops and tanks toward the ethnically-Russian breakaway Donbass region. Russia countered by massing 100,000 troops on Ukraine’s border. Though supplied with Western armaments, Ukraine’s ragtag and incompetent army has no ability to control the Donbass, nor do either NATO and the US have any real will to interfere there with their own troops — the logistics are insane. Mr. Putin’s elegant solution: evacuate the three-plus million Russians stuck in Donbass into Russia — which needs labor — ceding the empty territory to foundering Ukraine — soon to be an ungovernable post-industrial frontier between East and West. For a rich rundown on these matters, read Dmitry Orlov’s mordant disquisition on the subject: Putin’s Ukrainian Judo.

The lesson there is that the US has absolutely nothing to gain from continuing to antagonize Russia, and that the mentally weak Joe Biden is merely projecting the picture of a weakened and confused USA by keeping it up. Of course, a closer read might be that these hijinks are meant to distract from the more serious and consequential breakdown in relations between the US and China, currently engineered by the blundering team of Sec’y of State Antony Blinken and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, who went to Alaska recently to tell the Chinese delegation that they were morally unworthy of conducting trade negotiations, thereby torpedoing the trade negotiations that they went to Alaska to conduct. Smooth move fellas.

Actually, the REAL lesson there will be in what happens when decaying, once-mighty nations with hollowed-out, overly-tech-reliant, and cripplingly politicized military establishments get above their station and go strutting about on a global stage that became way too big for them while they were sitting back on their doughy duffs and going all soft and flubbery. It’s debatable whether Putin and his tough, much-better-trained and -led soldiery will be able to stop laughing at the dress-wearing poofters and Equal Opportunity officer corps we’re pleased to call “soldiers” long enough to kick Amerika v2.0’s transgender ass up between its shoulder blades.

And to think, that’s only the Foreign Policy Follies. James hasn’t even gotten around to Domestic Demonics yet, which are probably even worse.

Update! On the other hand, we still produce a few wild-eyed bastiges who build custom lawnmowers like this beauty.

Not too messianic update! I’ll just go ahead and confess right upfront that I did NOT see this coming.

Simone Peer, who once identified as an “ambassador for Satan” shared her testimony of how God used rocker Alice Cooper to deliver her from witchcraft.

Peer never thought practicing white magic was wrong, as she considered it the “good side” of the occult.

“I was a ‘white witch,’ and this was ‘white witchcraft’ that was divine and heavenly,” Peer said in a recent interview with CBN News. But later, she came to realize, “I was an ambassador for Satan.”

In 2017, desperately searching for truth and hoping to have peace in her life, Peer stumbled across a video of famous heavy metal musician Alice Cooper. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer became a Christian late in life and had been publicly sharing his testimony. In the video that Peer watched, Cooper talked about finding freedom in Jesus Christ, freed from alcoholism.

“For those who walked the same path that I did, Jesus is the answer that you are looking for. He truly is,” she declared.
In a 2014 interview with The Hard Music magazine, Cooper denounced “celebrity Christianity” and stressed to his fans that he is “nothing more than” a singer, and they shouldn’t look at him as an expert on Christianity.

“It’s really easy to focus on Alice Cooper and not on Christ,” he said. “I’m a rock singer. I’m nothing more than that. I’m not a philosopher. I consider myself low on the totem pole of knowledgeable Christians. So don’t look for answers from me.”

This might well be the greatest post of all time.

“We are moving into very dark times, and government tyranny is only going to get worse”

Truer words were never spoke. But I still do have a nit or two to pick, surprising exactly no one.

We Are Now Entering Full-Blown Tyranny In The Western World

Um, dude, not to put too fine a point on this and all, but…ENTERING?!?

If we accept what they are doing to us now, they are just going to keep pushing the envelope. Over the past 12 months, authorities throughout the western world have used the pandemic as an excuse to impose Orwellian measures that we never would have accepted during normal times. They are promising us that these measures are just “temporary”, but the pandemic has already been with us for a year and there are no signs that it is going away any time soon. If those governing us are willing to go to such ridiculous extremes during a relatively minor pandemic, what are they going to be willing to do once things start getting really crazy?

I have a sinking feeling we’re going to find out, and without much in the way of further ado, either. Western mettle has been tested, and found very much wanting. The board has been set; the pieces are in position. The Enemy’s opening gambit was more successful than they even dreamed it might be, and there’s no reason at all for further delay on their part.

Out of 4.4 million people living in Alberta, there have only been 2,013 deaths, and about half of those were among people 80 years of age or older.

If it isn’t safe to go to church, why are hordes of Canadians allowed to circulate through retail establishments every single day of the week?

If churches should be shut down, you would think that Wal-Mart, Costco and Canadian Tire should be shut down too.

But they aren’t shut down.

In better days, that’s what sturdier men used to call a “dead giveaway.”

I know that a lot of you don’t want to hear this, but the pandemic is with us to stay.

And that means that the Orwellian measures that are being put in place are with us to stay too.

Orwellian measures were the whole point of the exercise, as I’ve maintained right from jump. This is not about a virus. It was NEVER about a virus. It was about finding out whether or not at least somewhat free people would accept the bit. They did, most of them not grudgingly but eagerly. And now, unless they find some way to spit it out, they’re going to choke on it.

From American Dream to American Nightmare

Fundamental Transformation, no kind of accident, with plenty enough blame to go around.

For most of the ninety years since James Truslow Adams coined the term American Dream, most Americans still believed the fairy tale of the American Dream, that no matter how humble your beginnings, everyone had a fair chance to become a success in America, based upon your individual talent, intelligence, work ethic and a society that rewarded those who exceled. Sadly, that dream is no longer achievable for most Americans. Our society has devolved into an oligarchy since The Epic of America was published in 1931, where a powerful few rule over a willfully ignorant many through propaganda, mistruth, fear, and an iron fist.

The real questions are why did the American dream turn into an American nightmare and is there a pathway back to the kind of country our forefathers created? There are numerous reasons why the country has fallen far from its original conception as a proud defiant Republic to its current state as a dying empire of depravity, decay, debt, and decadence. The conspiratorial creation of the Federal Reserve and implementation of a Federal income tax in 1913 marked a true destructive turning point for America.

Our world is now ruled by a tyrannical few who have used the system, created by their class, to accumulate immense wealth and power, sustained by a government they manipulate by buying politicians and having their cronies and thugs write and enforce the laws. The misinformation, propaganda, and fake news dished out by a mainstream media, owned, and controlled by the ruling oligarchy, creates a smokescreen to obscure who wields the true power in this country. The Deep State is no longer a looney conspiracy theory, but the reality of how this country is now controlled and run.

Radical Communist professors infest our universities. With 76% of K-12 teachers being female, the feminization of boys from twelve years of indoctrination has been unavoidable. They have been forced to feel and emote, rather than think, question and experience life outside prison classrooms. When boys act like boys, they are diagnosed by women as having ADHD and immediately drugged into submission. School is now a detriment to learning and irrelevant to a person attaining wisdom and understanding.

Irrelevant, hell. It’s an actual, active obstacle.

The rot within our educational system does not appear to be a mistake. It seems to be a calculated goal of those controlling the system. Our overlords want obedient, easily manipulated, non-questioning, conformist, robotic consumers of material goods who believe debt equals wealth, the family unit is irrelevant, systematic racism is real, there are 65 genders, a flu with a 99.7% survival rate is a reason to surrender their remaining freedoms and liberties, and an all-knowing benevolent government is here to help them.

The dystopian American nightmare into which we are descending is not solely the fault of the globalist cabal. Americans need to look in the mirror and honestly assess their role in this plunge into madness. The once independent, self-sufficient individualists that populated this country have become dependent, government reliant, materialistic, quivering shadows of the patriots and frontiersmen who created this country.

In the name of safety and security, the American people have allowed their government to accumulate complete control over every aspect of our lives. The American Dream has become a nightmare as we have allowed individualism, materialism, and selfish greed to override our duty to be good citizens, good fathers, good mothers, good neighbors, and going as far as our ability and hard work would take us.

Up until 1913, the American Dream, where every person had the opportunity to live a richer and fuller life, was achievable.  Up until that time, every generation born in this country had an excellent chance to live a better life than their parents. Relentless progress was the American way. Based on the actions of those controlling the direction of this country, I doubt my three sons will live a richer and fuller life than myself. The debts are too extreme, the military overreach too excessive, the looting by the financial class too great, the political corruption too extensive, suppression of truth speech too stifling, and opportunities too few.

The dream of a social order where everyone could rise to the highest level of their capabilities, regardless of their birth, has been systematically crushed by those who prefer the masses to be debt slaves doing the menial labor necessary to keep their money-making machine running. With all out assaults on the First, Second and Fourth Amendments by those who find the U.S. Constitution inconvenient to their despotic intentions, time is running out for those who still believe in and will fight for their country.

We have ignored our obligation to the past and the future. The Founding Fathers created an imperfect Republic. Ben Franklin knew its future depended upon the people administering it well. The founders did not want a national religion to be misrepresented as keeping religion out of America. The Founders were religious men. They believed religion and morality were vital to the country, being administered in a moral ethical way and guided by a code of conduct. As God, religion and morality have been disparaged by those in power we have moved further and further from the letter and spirit of the Constitution. Only a people with a strong moral backbone can be trusted to honor the Constitution.

The people have allowed the country to be corrupted by evil self-seeking men, and as a result, we are on a course towards despotism. We are descended from rebels and revolutionaries. The future of our country requires the restoration of that revolutionary spirit of dissent and opposition among a sufficient number of patriotic citizens, as there is no longer a chance to vote ourselves out of this predicament. Sadly, bloodshed will be required in any effort to regain control of our country. Time is growing short.

The author covers one hell of a lot of territory in this one, pulling together what could fairly be considered a politico-historical Theory Of Everything. It’s the deepest of deep dives, it’s lengthy, and it makes for some mighty uncomfortable reading in spots, which you should nonetheless do.

Darkness, falling

An extremely unflattering comparison.

Those old enough to remember the Cold War will recall, perhaps with some prompting, that the fight with the Soviets was as much a moral war as a political one. It was not that the communists were in error about some item in dispute. The communists were immoral because communism was immoral. Whatever the faults of liberal democracy, it was morally superior to the evils of communist totalitarianism.

At the time, this was not a tough case to make. Americans could speak out against the government, while Russians had to suffer in silence. The West had elections and big public spats over policy. Debate in the East was always behind the dreary walls of the communist party. Most important, the West did not have political prisoners, while the East operated camps, even small cities, for their dissidents.

A generation later and the roles are not exactly reversed, but it is now possible to argue that Russians are freer than Americans. Putin has his enemies jailed, but that’s now official policy in America. In the case of Putin, he does not relish in the torment of his opponents. There is some hint of shame there. In America, members of the regime take pleasure in tormenting those who speak out against them.

Take, for example, the case of Alexey Navalny, the CIA-sponsored critic of Putin who is now in jail. He claims poor treatment at the hands of the government, but he is able to speak to the media about it. In contrast, there are an unknown number of people in jail right now over the January protests. One was beaten by guards to the point where he lost sight in one eye.

Unlike with Alexey Navalny, The New York Times and The Washington Post are not demanding Ronald Sandlin be set free. The great and the good are not calling him a political prisoner, despite the fact he is literally in jail for politics. The folks who tell us “democracy dies in darkness” are happy that Ronald Sandlin now lives in darkness at the hands of the state. The political prisoners being held by the Biden regime envy Alexey Navalny.

It is not just at the extreme where the moral relationship has reversed. Russian citizens can walk up to the Kremlin and take pictures of it and themselves in front of it without fear of being shot by the army. Americans, on the other hand, will be sent to prison for daring such a radical act. People protest in Moscow all the time. As long as they are peaceful, they are left alone. Protest is banned in Washington now.

A generation ago, Americans knew they would win the Cold War, because they were right about the moral depravity of communism. Such a system could not last. The Soviet system did collapse, because devoid of moral authority, the cost of maintaining it eventually exceeded the benefits of the system. By the end, no one could think of a reason to sacrifice for the system or the people running it.

Americans are quickly approaching the same decision. As long as the material benefits are not threatened, most are happy to remain in their cells. At some point, though, the number of people no longer able to tell the good guys from the bad guys, the white hats from the black hats, will reach a critical mass. The ruling regime is burning what is left of its moral authority to fuel its hold on power. When the tank runs dry, they will join the communists in the dustbin of history.

There are other equally-invidious comparisons to be made, and to be learned from.

The parallels are so striking that one can wonder if there really is an unseen force guiding history along. Was there no one who might have stopped Hitler’s rise or the Russian revolution? Germany had no such person. Russia did. Pyotr Stolypin, though, was assassinated in 1911, and things just muddled along until Lenin and the communists took charge. Donald Trump in America tried heroically to stop the communists but failed. The left, controlling nearly all that matters in America, didn’t have to assassinate Trump to attain its goal.

Another interesting parallel works in reverse. Joe Biden best matches the pathetic Tsar Nicholas II, whom a coalition of liberals and socialists overthrew (before the Bolsheviks then overthrew them) to seize power and whose legacy is that of an uncomprehending fool. Biden came after the seizure of power by the Reds in Washington, but that hasn’t stopped him from modeling Tsar Nicholas’s foolishness. In fewer than three months, Joe’s incompetence has become legendary, bordering on comical.

Comical, only nobody’s laughing.

Ordinary people in 1917 Russia and 1933 Germany generally went about their business after monsters ascended to power. Perhaps they dreaded the future but had no way to change it or any idea of where things would go. It was probably best for them that they did not know. And so with us today.

“Best for them”? Well, back then, maybe. But only maybe, and only by a whisker. As the man says, in 1917 and 1933 the world didn’t have the benefit of a hundred-year record of death, impoverishment, and enslavement that are the inevitable products of Leftist ideology that we enjoy today. So people of that time can perhaps be given a pass for having been taken in by this extreme and inhuman ideology and all its evil works.

But today, we have no such excuse. Thus, I hardly think it can be considered “best” for anybody “not to know” their history. Actually, I consider such ignorance to be unforgivable, amounting to a crime which creates its own punishment—an extravagantly harsh punishment suffered by the deserving and the blameless alike. If we witness yet another nation stricken by this self-inflicted plague, no one who was either too mulish, too starry-eyed, or too just goddamned stupid to see what any even half-sentient soul could have told them was coming ought to be given a bye.

Ready for the Great Reset?

As the ones our masters intend to be Resetting, we’d better be.

As is the custom among our big thinkers, the blather is very generalized. “Now is the time to think about what history would say about this crisis,” says the head of the IMF. If you say so. Personally, I was thinking that now is the time to eat a meal in a restaurant, if they weren’t closed.

But, why is it history’s job to say something about this crisis? Why, don’t you “world leaders” of the here and now say anything about it? “It is imperative that we reimagine, rebuild, redesign, re-invigorate and re-balance our world,” declares the UN Secretary-General.

That’s almost a full set, but he forgot “redefined”. “Possibilities are being redefined each and every day,” says the chief exec of British Petroleum, who as is his wont sounds like he’s in any business other than petroleum.

Lot of that going around nowadays; see my previous post for more.

There is, of course, an inscrutable Oriental, who is chairman of something called the “China Green Finance Committee”. He’s there as a not so subtle reminder not even to bring up the subject of China, whose lies amplified by their sock puppet at the WHO are the sole cause of the present crisis – and whose death-grip on our future is the thing that most urgently needs to be reimagined, rebuilt, re-balanced and redefined. As I’ve mentioned many times over the spring and summer, twenty years ago we were told to forget about manufacturing – from widgets to “These Colors Don’t Run” T-shirts, that’s never coming back; from now on, we’re going to be “the knowledge economy”. Yet mysteriously, with the 5G and the Huawei and all the rest, China seems to have snaffled all that, too.

So what’s left for citizens of the developed world? Retail, restaurants, theme parks, low-paid service jobs… In other words, everything that the Covid has clobbered. Cities that grew in the age of manufacturing transformed themselves into giant shopping malls for an indolent post-industrial west – cheeseburgers, Macy’s, multiplexes, sports stadia, concert halls, Miley Cyrus – The Musical …all gone. A few years back, I took my daughter to a bankrupt shopping centre in Reading, England that had been converted into a “Zombie Shopping Mall”, wherein for a fiver or so one could battle zombies through abandoned W H Smith’s and Boots’ and Tesco’s. In Seattle and Portland and Chicago they’re recreating the experience city-wide. In Minneapolis, as in that Zombie Shopping Mall, the rubble is being left in place: the city won’t let storekeepers clear away the ruins of their incinerated businesses unless they pre-pay their end-of-year property taxes. America’s cities are a whole new kind of business model: Zombie Shopping Mall With Paperwork.

It’s hard to see what’s in front of your nose when you’re so far-sighted all you can glimpse is the distant horizon, so the Davos crowd have nothing to say about any of that and instead retreat to their comforting tropes – mostly the “climate emergency”, with a little light slathering of social justice, just in case the #BLM crowd get a yen to torch their charitable foundations. Still, one notices the absence of some once familiar bromides. Nobody’s cooing over the “borderless world” beloved of brain-dead big thinkers of the day before yesterday. Unless you’re a Davos jetsetter, a “Syrian” “refugee”, a Covid-positive Mexican or member of some other approved group, there are borders everywhere now – around your home in many jurisdictions, five kilometres from your home in the Irish Not-So-Free State, between Australian states…

Underneath the lofty generalities of the Davos set, this is what the Great Reset boils down to as a practical matter. “Each and every one of us has a vital role to play,” says the Prince of Wales. His vital role is to think big thoughts, your vital role is to stay indoors on pain of a $5,000 fine unless given permission to leave for approved purposes during daylight hours.

That distinction between the rulers and the ruled has sharpened during the last year – and the very acceptance of that distinction by the overwhelming majority of western citizens does us no credit whatsoever.

Bold not mine, but Steyn’s. Which, he’s right about that, painful as it is to have to admit it. As for the ChiComs specifically, they have plans to do a little resetting of their own.

A popular topic among Sinophiles since the installation of Joe Biden as president is the possibility of war with China over the status of Taiwan. The Chinese have been obsessed with Taiwan since Mao. With the American empire in sharp decline and the Biden regime unpopular at home and abroad, now could be the perfect time for the Chinese to make their move. As John Derbyshire is fond of pointing out, “Taiwan is like two feet from China … We are eight thousand miles away.”

While there is little doubt that China could retake Taiwan whenever it likes, the cost would be extremely high. For starters, Taiwan and the US have been preparing for such a move for generations. Some of the most sophisticated early warning systems on earth are installed in Taiwan specifically keep an eye on China. There is the very strong possibility that Taiwan has underground missile systems capable of reaching targets on the mainland in the event of an attack by China.

Whether or not the US would actually go to war to defend Taiwan is debatable, but that is the official position.

Trump might conceivably have, but there’s not a snowball’s chance that Biden ever would. And this time he’s right, incredible as that seems, albeit in his usual clueless way. If we shipped our stripper-pumps-and-sundresses Panzy Division troops around the globe to face down the Dinks, the result would be the most epic military defeat in human history, breaking all previous records by taking no more than half an hour to inflict. No need to worry about it, though; the ChiComs know it’s all just a matter of time, and all they have to do is be patient.

From the Chinese perspective, she has no reason to make any moves on Taiwan, as the puppet government in Washington is unlikely to stagger on much longer. Despite the claims by regime media, the world fully grasps the reality of the situation. The American regime is in deep crisis. The American empire is the sick man of the world right now and everyone is just waiting for the inevitable. History shows that the end comes much sooner than the patient ever expects.

The point of all this is that China has no reason to force a confrontation with the American empire over Taiwan. Through bribery, maneuvering and the general incompetence of the American ruling elite, China can quietly dictate policy to the regime in Washington. If she is patient, this reality will become clear to her neighbors in the region, and they will peacefully detach from the American empire and align with the Chinese empire. There is no need to fight the inevitable.

Nope, there really isn’t.

The trouble with having the sun set on one’s empire is that it can be VERY unpleasant for the settee.

Our master’s voice

Uppity Americans get too big for their britches, are set straight.

After four decades, the Chinese Communist Party has “learned everything, and can do everything ourselves,” Zang revealed before adding “When we look back, the factories are ours, the equipment is ours, the technology is ours, the patents are ours.” “The foreigners have all gone,” he emphasized.

The massive intellectual property theft allowed Chinese Communist Party officials to talk “tough” to President Biden’s Secretary of State and National Security Adviser at a recent Alaska summit:

“That’s why our Foreign Minister Yang [Jiechi] and Wang [Yi] could be so tough when they talked to the United States. [They thought] you have no right to talk to us in this way.”

He’s right, we don’t. We renounced it. More precisely, as Sefton points out, we sold it.

It’s easy to make them the bogeyman for all of our ills. But the sad, undeniable truth is that the Chi-Coms could not have gotten where they are today without the eager help of fellow citizens who stabbed us in the back and sold us out. First and foremost is our political class including the Bushes and Clintons who gave these Mongoloids most favored nation trading status and a seat at the WTO as well as outright engineering the transfer of defense technology that “Great Leap Forwarded” their nuclear arsenal from 20 years behind us to parity in one fell swoop.

It’s easy to understand how brainwashing a couple of generations of our youth to hate this, the greatest nation that ever was – and as of this writing tragically is no more. And now, the concentration camp-running, organ-harvesting, slave-labor driving filthy, degenerate Chi-Coms are stomping all over us for “human rights violations” and aiding and abetting the BLM blood-libeling of America – while Tony freaking Blinken the alleged secretary of state agrees with them!

Leftards—perennially determined to see the once-mighty, now-enfeebled US they so loathe brought to its knees in humiliated submission before their longed-for Global Government—won’t be anywhere near as pleased as they think they will once all their dreams have become reality, I suspect. In the way of Useful Idiots everywhere, they smugly expect to be exempt from the horror and abuse to be visited on the less-enlightened Deplorables. As is also usual with these muttonheads, the confusticated disbelief on their faces as they’re blindfolded and put up against a wall to receive the “thanks” of the new regime for a job well done will be a joy to behold.

Yet more, yet worser:

The Chinese Communist Party’s Cyberspace Administration of China has boasted of one of the most critical connections between the 2020 U.S. Presidential election, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the groups and individuals campaigning to stop President Trump and his “America First” agenda, The National Pulse can exclusively reveal.

New, bombshell admissions over China’s influence in both the United States and Europe link organizations such as the Berggruen Institute with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The Berggruen Institute first rose to national attention after co-founding the “Transition Integrity Project” which advised on how Joe Biden could seize power on the back of an ostensible Trump victory.

The news lends further credibility to election-tampering theories especially concerning Chinese Communist Party influence.

A 2017 report effectively claims – on the CCP’s behalf – that CNN host Fareed Zakaria, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, Facebook Oversight Board member Helle Thorning-Schmidt, NeverTrump philanthropist Pierre Omidyar and many others “co-operate” with the CCP and its goals.

Well, naturally. They’re playing for the same team, and share the same definition of victory.

Regular readers of The National Pulse may be familiar with the Berggruen Institute for other reasons.

In mid-2020, The National Pulse exclusively reported on the involvement of the Berggruen Institute in an explicitly anti-Trump exercise known as the Transition Integrity Project (TIP).

A collaborative effort between former Soros counsel Rosa Brooks and Berggruen executive Nils Gilman, TIP littered the U.S. media with commentary about how Joe Biden should refuse to concede in the event of an apparent election night victory for President Donald Trump – which is precisely what happened.

Hrm. There’s that name, Soros, again. Must be a coinkydink.

Amidst scrutiny of TIP’s work in attempting to prematurely cover for Biden’s mail-in ballot-boosted “victory,” Gilman lashed out at critics including writer and analyst Michael Anton.

“Michael Anton is the Robert Brasillach of our times and deserves the same fate,” Gilman opined in a tweet dated September 21st, 2020.

Yeah, whatever. Myself, I consider you to be the Julius Rosenberg of our time, and think you deserve the same fate. Or, if possible, worse. Lots more in the article from the “shocking but not surprising” category, which is becoming all too familiar these dark days. Despite being depressing, disgusting, and infuriating all at once, it’s still a must-read. The closer is the killer:

If such people can freely propagandize for the CCP in Western media, why should we suspect they would stop short of election tampering?

Why indeed—and why, having successfully done so in 2020, would we think they’d stop there? It’s remarkable how so much that would once have been ridiculed as wild-eyed conspiracy theory are now being confirmed as simple facts. These days, however paranoid you may think yourself to be, you’re almost certainly not paranoid enough.

Despots gonna despot

SO. Remember when I told you people that the FauxVid bushwa was NEVER going away?

We Must Start Planning For a Permanent Pandemic
With coronavirus mutations pitted against vaccinations in a global arms race, we may never go back to normal.

As I’ve said all along, Mo’ Bettah Tyranny was the plan right from jump. OBJECT LESSON: you never, never, NEVER allow the State to take your freedom away. No matter what, you don’t. Because once you do there’s only one way to get it back again, and it’s an extremely arduous, painful, costly, and brutal process, with no guarantee whatsoever that the effort will end happily—for anybody.

For the past year, an assumption — sometimes explicit, often tacit — has informed almost all our thinking about the pandemic: At some point, it will be over, and then we’ll go “back to normal.”

This premise is almost certainly wrong. SARS-CoV-2, protean and elusive as it is, may become our permanent enemy, like the flu but worse. And even if it peters out eventually, our lives and routines will by then have changed irreversibly. Going “back” won’t be an option; the only way is forward. But to what exactly?

Simple: this, only more of it. Again: it ends only when WE end it, and not before. Ask a hard one next time, whydon’tcha. More harsh reality from Jolly Olde:

Mary Ramsay, the head of immunisation at Public Health England, said the measures would remain in place while other countries complete their vaccination programs, a process likely to take years.

People have got used to those lower-level restrictions now, and people can live with them, and the economy can still go on with those less severe restrictions in place,” said Ramsay.

“So I think certainly for a few years, at least until other parts of the world are as well vaccinated as we are, and the numbers have come down everywhere, that is when we may be able to go very gradually back to a more normal situation,” she added.

The doctor said that so long as people continue to be infected, the rules won’t be abolished.

Ramsay’s comments once again highlight the fact that the plan never was to get “back to normal.”

Now that Brits have allowed society to be permanently deformed, with polls routinely showing vehement support for lockdown and other pandemic rules, things are never going to be the same again.

Emphasis mine, so’s nobody misses the important parts. So with this, all the questions have been asked and answered, leaving just the eternal one: What, if anything, are we gonna do about it? Don’t forget, students, that failure to provide an answer IS ITSELF an answer. Ain’t no dodging this one, I’m afraid.

And the Founders weep, such is the shameful dishonor their posterity hath shewn.

Superspreader update! Another curtain lifting.

Another Fauci prediction blows up: Since lifting lockdown, Covid cases in Texas have DROPPED 36%
At the time the executive order was issued, March 2, new COVID-19 cases in the state stood at 7,240 cases, with a seven-day average of 7,259 cases. That number dropped to 5,350 cases by March 10 when the executive order came into effect and the economy fully opened.

Two weeks later on March 24, the number of daily new cases stands at 3,827, with a seven-day average of 3,401 cases.

Abbott’s mask mandate rollback had attracted criticism from high-profile figures, including California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Dr. Anthony Fauci, a top adviser to President Joe Biden.

“We understand people’s need to get back to normal, and we’re going in that direction. But when you start doing things like completely putting aside all public health measures as if you’re turning a light switch off, that’s quite risky,” Fauci said during an appearance on CNN earlier this month. “We don’t want to see another surge, and that’s inviting one when you do that.”

Yep, except when it isn’t. I’m in serious danger of sounding like a broken record tonight, I know, but still: if it was really all they claimed, they wouldn’t have had to lie about it continuously.

We have long said that the lockdowns have been for political theater only. The science behind them is flawed tremendously, and this further demonstrates that locking down everything does not truly mitigate the spread. While some will use this as evidence that lockdowns and face masks promote the spread of Covid-19, that’s simply not true. They don’t help very much and the damage they do to the economy as well as the psyches of the people is tremendous.

There’s more, of which you should read the all. Not that any of it matters, of course; as every dictator knows, panic trumps truth every single time. There’s no point trying to argue facts with Leftards anyhow; it wastes your time and annoys the pig, so to speak, since they long ago developed herd immunity to ’em.

Another easy one update! Rick Moran asks it.

Why does it surprise anyone that, when using their own judgment, people can take care of themselves and their families? What is it about freedom of choice that these people hate so much?

Absolutely everything, of course, beginning with the very idea of it and going on from there. Next question?
