Are you ready?

War is coming.

Black Lives Matter militants took to the streets of North Portland on Thursday, in a march for Patrick Kimmons, who was shot by police in 2018 after a gang shootout on the streets late at night.

During Thursday’s event the protesters began marching in the streets, with a couple of support vehicles leading the way. At two separate points multiple participants pulled AR-15s, AK-47s, pistols, and possibly a shotgun and/or Keltec Sub 2000 on motorists who happened be driving along.

The incidents were caught on video. In these shocking videos you can clearly see multiple terrorists surrounding the vehicles, yelling and shouting obscenities and threats at the drivers. Though the videos are shaky, you can clearly see multiple guns being leveled and drawn, as the terrorists order drivers to stop. One minivan’s tires were flattened, had its back window busted out, and at least one mirror broken. Another guy was in a big pickup truck, and he was apparently drawing his own gun. In an incident that was similar to the Marquise Love headpunt altercation from last fall, he later decided to get out of his truck, where he was assaulted, tackled to the ground, and the terrorists stole his gun while holding him on the ground, ironically calling for the police.

You can hear all sorts of shouting, rifles and pistols being charged, cocked, and racked, glass shattering, and other alarming content. The protesters claim that the drivers tried to run them over, though you can’t see that in the videos.

Which is exactly what they should have done. I can promise you that, should I ever somehow get myself caught in the middle of one of these shitshows, that’s I’ll be doing. No way will any car I’m driving be stopping, or even slowing, so I can sit there passively to await a violent mob’s verdict on what to do with or to me.

No. Fucking. Way. Automobiles can be weapons too, y’know, and my concern for the physical well-being of raged-up savages who pose an imminent threat to my own is nonexistent. Don’t want to get crushed into bloody paste from being run over by a car? Don’t play in the fucking streets then, asstard.

Through it all not a single police officer is seen. The gangs know they run the streets of Portland, and the police are powerless to stop them. The citizens should know by now to obey the gangs, and if they dare defy the gangs, they could very well end up getting shot and killed. This has essentially become state sanctioned vigilante terrorism.

That’s precisely what it is. The situation just escalated dangerously; a giant step along the road to CW v2.0 has just been taken. Serious civilizational conflict is very nearly upon us, an uncontrollable conflagration which will inevitably spread like wildfire to scorch every corner of the nation. Disturbed poses the most pressing question, especially for those still dwelling in Amerika’s urban hellholes:

The song’s lyrics are pertinent enough to excerpt them also, I think. I have no knowledge one way or the other, but I imagine the band’s political leanings are in no way congruent with yours or mine, and that they’d be appalled at my interpretation and inclusion of them here. Nevertheless.

Get up, get up

Well, are you ready now
For the revolution
For too long your power has been taken away
It’s been taken away
Does your heart feel heavy now
Savor the solution
Take those mental shackles off and throw them away
You’ve got to get them out of your mind
Don’t you let their vision leave you blind

Moving steady now
It’s a revelation
For so long your focus has been taken away
Now you’re breaking away
They may think they know you, but
Here’s an education
No, they can’t control you
Once you’ve broken away
They’re done patrolling your mind

When they’re searching for you, they will find
A person they aren’t ready for

They aren’t ready for you to be strong
They aren’t ready for you to prove them wrong
They aren’t ready for you to be turned into someone
Who cannot be preyed upon

  1. Those area’s in Portland, and other cities are just like Somalia.
Good work democrats. If it were up to me you would all be deported to the original Somalia, sans weapons of course.

  2. As government agents, the police have no legal duty to do anything for any individual or group of individuals. Protection of self and community is the responsibility of citizens, not police. That was the case before municipal socialism created police forces, and it’s still the case. They can run away, they can hide, they can sit in their cop shop, eat donuts, and watch the carnage on their surveillance cameras, and do absolutely nothing. And this has nothing to do with all the tax money they get, they have only a duty to the “public at large”, which essentially means no one. They have a duty to serve and protect the *government*, but that’s all, everything else is discretionary. See https://mises.org/power-market/police-have-no-duty-protect-you-federal-court-affirms-yet-again

It sounds like they need an outfit like the Regulators, a citizens’ posse to enforce the laws and keep the peace and protect communities from criminals, because that government has shown that it just won’t do it. And if the government throws in with the criminals, they’ve chosen sides, and they’ve chosen to become criminals, too. And that’s not unknown in history. The town marshal of Dodge City Kansas, back in the 1870s, went missing for two weeks once, and when they found him, he had been hanged in a town 20 miles away for taking part with a gang in robbing a bank. That sort of thing happens today too, the crimes are slightly different, though…

  3. Never forget Reginald Denny.

Fourth world culture may regularly show they are not competent to operate first world equipment. But they still know how to use rocks and stones and chunks of concrete!!!

    1. Reginald Denny came immediately to mind for me as well.

Also, “shocking” video? What is shocking about it? At this point, anyone who is shocked by events in Portland deserves whatever happens to them.

      1. “What is shocking about it?”
Good point. Nothing. We expect Somalia within our borders.

        1. It would not be shocking in any of the Dem-controlled urban hives. But it is especially non-shocking in Portland.

  4. I don’t think that any of us are really ready for what’s coming.

    1. I have to agree, Ironbear. I can see that what is coming is going to be very bad. But I suspect that just how bad it gets is going to be beyond what I can imagine. Cuba, Venezuela, the former Soviet union, and North Korea are the models the left is aiming for, with a sizble helping of Mao and Pol Pot thrown in on top. Stir in some south Africa race war elements and ChiCom support for the ‘totally legitimate leftist revolution’ and things are likely to end up uglier than the average American would ever imagine to be possible. There is still a huge amount of “it can’t happen here” and “that kind of thing only happens in the third world” thinking among the low info masses.

      1. For the most part, we really have no experience with the type of thing that’s coming. Even the veterans that I’ve mentioned having gotten a graduate level course in counter-insurgency in the past twenty years, haven’t been through a full on communist revolution takeover and counter revolution.

Even those of us who’ve seen it on the small scale – Peru, Columbia, etc – haven’t seen it on the scale of a country like the U.S., and I’m sure we’ll put our own unique American twist on the thing.

We’ve never had a modern nation state the size of the U.S. Balkanize before – the Soviet Union doesn’t count, as in a lot of ways, it wasn’t a modern 1st world nation state. We’ve never had a modern nation state the size of the U.S. go Bosnia x Rwanda in places, either.

This’ll be fascinating for historians to dissect a hundred years from now. For those of us living in it? Not so much.

        1. This. Would up-vote multiple times if I could.

About a dozen years ago I worked with several people who had grown up under the Soviet system, then emigrated to the US and Canada. It was fascinating (and horrifying) to listen to their stories of daily life in the USSR. And that was the long-established, steadily crumbling Soviet Union. What the original revolution and take over had been like were stories from their grandparents, handed down as family lore.

I also agree that the scale of what is going to happen in the US is unprecendented. Having the world’s foremost military and economic power, with a massive nuclear arsenal, go utterly insane with a revolution/civil war breakdown scenario is beyond anything anyone has ever seen. I could easily see the death toll within the continental US reaching 100 million. And if the left tries to “export the revolution” that could rapidly go to multiples of that figure. Loss of American food aid to the third world could add tens of millions more to the death count.

          1. “100 million”

Or much higher. We have an electorate of 350 million entirely dependent upon others for the food they eat. In any scenario that has millions dying, tens of millions more will die from starvation after the looting stops. They cannot produce food, they cannot do it in time even if they know how. Producers of food will have no ability to get the raw materials – fuel, seed, fertilizer, labor – and the few that have that covered will not be able to distribute the food on a wide basis.

The rest of the world? Even greater death and destruction absent US support. I wouldn’t care but for the echo effect it will have here.

Unleashing this is destruction beyond your imagination. I’m reminded of Southerners that thought the war against them would be over in 3-6 months. 4 years later the South was decimated, half a million of her young men were dead, wounded, missing, or in Yank prisons. Recovery was slow and painful.

Ironbear and Haz are correct. There is no understanding of this scale.
