Going down hard.
We take no pleasure in reporting that @CrackerBarrel has fallen.

Meh, no great loss as far as I’m concerned, their food always sucked anyway. The best part? This.
It may not just be ESG pressure, there is every possibility that Cracker Barrel hired an Ivy League MBA to work some magic on its brand image, just like Bud Light did.
Whatever the case, Cracker Barrel stock is now in free fall.
At the beginning of June Pride Month, Cracker Barrel stock (CBRL) was trading at $102 per share. It is now down to $91 per share, losing $4 per share on Friday alone.
Like Target and Anheuser Busch, Cracker Barrel is committing stock market seppuku. In barely a week (during which the stock market rose) Cracker Barrel lost 11% of its value.
Oh well, even if heartland American stop going to Cracker Barrel, maybe those lost customers can be replaced by coastal leftists who are all wrapped up in sexual identities. So long as Cracker Barrel pivots to serving sustainable, organic, locally sourced, GMO-free fare in hip, urban settings, there should be no problem replacing the customer base that is being run off.
May those Wokester CEOs at Crap In A Barrel have joy of their choice.
I’m older, so perhaps that adds to my confusion. But why is it that about 2-4% of the population wants the rest of us to kowtow to them? I wish for once they would understand we really don’t care about what they do in their bedroom or who they do it with; however we don’t want to hear about it, see it in public – or have to explain it to our grandchildren. The “tweets” (pro tip: grown ups don’t “tweet”) all say “oh good, now I can eat there and be safe”. Like you weren’t safe last month? Imbeciles. In any case, my caution is this: if you “gay” or “trans” folks don’t “feel safe” now, you just wait… a time is coming when you REALLY won’t feel safe – because you won’t be. Keep your perversions to yourself and you might get through what’s ahead.
However that’s not where the “smart money” is.
It’s the other 10% of Marxists that are pushing this to undermine our American Society and Culture.
I never even saw a “Transgender” until they made it a Thing.
Bingo!
I still say the Ultimate Goal here is to destroy any and every Average American Brand.
Otherwise, the examples already extant should make these CEOs stop this shit already.
Growing up we watched Professional Sports, Shopped at Sears, occasionally would drop by a reasonably priced restaurant that fit our budget (very occasaionally) and maybe once a year did the “fancy restaurant” for a special occasion, watched the Wonderful World of Disney on Sunday nights, laughed at Happy Days and the Fonz’s ability to pick up girls, loved cars that went VROOOOOOM, and all those other things that one might see if one tuned into that Show The Wonder Years.
What more of Americana can they destroy now?
“…their food always sucked anyway”
That’s what I have always said. Never cared for the place myself.
Never been there.
Guess I never will.
If you look at the parking lot you’ll find I, and Mike, are in the minority view, or at least it would seem so.
Often that’s a function of price.
Also people looking for something upscale from Fast Food.
Frankly all those that I call Upscale Fast Food aren’t worth it, especially if they’re a chain. TGI Fridays, Outback, Olive Garden etc are all overrated food and still pricier. Just for the sit down and a waitress comes over experience. And liquor.
Ummmm, no.
The scamVirus pretty much killed most restaurants. Every fast food place I go to has issues and is overpriced.
Now you know how often I actually eat anywhere but at home!
I prefer to eat at home myself. But travel requires I eat out a bit.
