Disappointing, but hardly surprising

Dammit, I always loved that show too, and he was great in it. Ah well.

Actor David Cross, husband of actress Amber Tamblyn, responded to Joe Biden’s call for unity by exclaiming he wants division and even “blood.”

“After a year of pain and loss, it’s time to unite, heal, and rebuild,” Joe Biden tweeted on Saturday.

“F**k that. I want blood,” Cross responded.

Here’s hoping you get it, asshole, by the bucketload. Not ours, mind. I’m thinking it could be obtained from a different source.

Cross issuing an obvious call to violence still has not been censored by Twitter. The “Arrested Development” star later accused “MAGA chuds” of engaging in the same kind of “violent fantasy trolling.”

“I am loving the responses to this that are all, ‘come and try pussy soy lib hollywood girl woman’ as if these anonymous maga chuds & chudettes don’t practice the same exact feckless violent fantasy trolling,” he tweeted.

So, let me get this straight: your doing THE EXACT SAME FUCKING THING as the people you denounce and loathe somehow makes you…better than them?

In the wake of the election, some Trump opponents have taken the opportunity to threaten his supporters with harsh, draconian punishment no different than a McCarthyite blacklist. The sentiment apparently started when Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) called for an archive of “Trump sycophants.”

“Is anyone archiving these Trump sycophants for when they try to downplay or deny their complicity in the future? I foresee a decent probability of many deleted Tweets, writings, photos in the future,” she tweeted.

Other prominent leftists agreed that Trump supporters should be shamed and pushed aside.

“If you’re a Trumper I hope the pain and anxiety you feel now is excruciating. You voted against America and for a cult leader who has no redeeming or admirable qualities. He’s a cretin who cares nothing about this country and you don’t either. You deserve all the pain and more,” tweeted former MSNBC host Toure.

Soon, motherfuckers. Soon.

Ready for the shocker, though?

Some prominent liberals and Democrats have denounced such talk as unnecessarily divisive and have even encouraged people to speak with Trump supporters.

“I’m fascinated by playing devil’s advocate and want to understand the people I disagree with. I don’t want to dismiss and malign,” comedian Whitney Cummings told The Daily Beast.

“I think it’s very self-righteous or sanctimonious to just dismiss people we disagree with without trying to understand why they believe what they believe,” she added. “I don’t get it. I grew up in Washington, D.C., mostly, but also in Virginia and West Virginia, so I grew up seeing both sides, and people believing different things. Even though I don’t agree with somebody, I don’t think they’re dumb.”

“‘You complete me’ doesn’t mean because we’re exactly alike. It means because we are different. I don’t want to live in a country without the red states,” said comedian Bill Maher. “I like traveling there. When people talk to you in Oklahoma, they’re not scanning the room to see if there’s someone more important. Because, frankly, when I’m there, there never is.”

Can I get an UNEXPECTED!™, anybody?

  1. Can anyone explain to me how David Cross has been wronged by MAGA, Trump, or Trump supporters?

Because i can certainly name how we Trump Voters have been harmed by having a Trumpslide reversed by Fraudulent Ballots by the Millions.

SO, who has more cause to be violently angry.

Those who were offended by some imaginary slight from President Trump or those of US who have had our Vote, Country, Rights, and Heritage taken away.

If he wants blood, he got it.

    1. Since I’ve never heard of him, I looked him up.

Cross is a pussy that wouldn’t last 10 seconds in any blood sport. Big mouth, and cannot back it up.

      1. I’m sure that’s true.

I just think about neighbors who have “suffered for four years with that Bad Orange Man” and wonder how their $500k homes, soaring 401ks, six figure incomes (still coming in despite shutdowns) and generally booming times has hurt them, that they seem to be “living in a depression” or something.

We were ALL better off in Jan 2020 than Jan 2017 and a significant subset of Anti-Trump people were still better off in Dec 2020 than Jan 2020.

So why do they hate Trump so much?

        1. I’m sure you know, he stopped the socialist / crony capitalism / china juggernaut dead in it’s tracks. He ended obambi’s Middle Eastern adventure by not only stopping Iran dead but bringing the beginnings of actual peace in the ME.

His greatest SIN? He showed us what is possible if we ignore the experts and put America first. That is why they truly hate him.

And I hate them right back, more than they can imagine.

          1. Let’s face it as well. Those people weren’t “hurt”.

They perhaps made a little less money each year than they had been.

The politicians who snarf at the trough of the Globalists were the only group truly hurt. They played on the Globalist’s fears that Trump would take it all away. Peace and Prosperity around the world presented plenty of opportunity globally.

The plain fact is that no Westerners make any money in China over the long run. In the end the ChiComs and their Dem Fifth Columnists were snookering the Crony Capitalists as much as anybody.

The Snarfers only care that money flows around the world and they take a small cut of a gigantic wash of money. Money from around the US to DC and then ladled out to favored beggars like Ukraine and others. Money from The Fed buying US Treasuries that gets spent helping China and a little snarf snarf off the top in their greedy gullets.

Animal Farm is sometimes a more prescient and reality based Cautionary Tale than 1984.

            1. The two works need to be read as one warning in my opinion. They should be read close together.

The hateful people not only didn’t get hurt financially, the average marxist party voter did better. But they don’t hate Trump because he improved their economic outlook, they hate him because he showed the world a better way, one that left them and their ideology out of power. Power is what they want, the power to rule over you, the power to enslave you, the power to hurt you.

The economic globalists only play the short game, as in “what gets me the most right now”. The hell with the company/country after I’m gone.

              1. It’s envy Pure and Simple.

They can’t stand other people happy and prosperous even if they are as well. Somehow they always think someone else must be doing better and often they think they are undeserving to be doing as well as or better than Progressives. ‘Cause Progressives are always “the smartest xeople in the room”.

They’d shoot off their foot just to cut off your nose, to mix a metaphor.

                1. “They can’t stand other people happy and prosperous even if they are as well.”

They are never “happy”. Most of them are vile and hateful and wish to have someone else retaliate on their behalf since they are wholly incapable of doing so theirselves.

  2. 2020: The year that ALL of the traitors unmasked.

Oh, we’re making a list, we’re checking it twice!
We’re gonna find out who’s naughty or nice.
‘Cause Henry Bowman’s coming to town!
