Weird. As Julie Kelly pointed out, one time Trump made a joke about Hillary’s deleted emails and he got a three year FBI/Special Counsel investigation for it.
But Democrats are permitted to tell jokes?

Oh, it’s a joke all right. I’m sure what Gropey should have said was, “of course I’ll do whatever my handlers tell me to do, up to and including stepping aside to make way for the Real President.” That would be a lot more accurate and honest.

I suspect this is much like Sundown Joe’s earlier statement about having the best and most inclusive vote fraud operation ever. He no longer has any mental filters and just blurts out whatever enters the pile of mush he calls a brain. Someone in his circle of handlers talked about the vote fraud team and Joe just repeated it in public, like the proverbial five year old who repeats word for word what you shouldn’t have said. This latest gaffe is the same — Joe’s handlers are already discussing how he will be moved out of the way, and his addled brain just repeated it in public. The old guy just doesn’t know where he is or what is going on any more and just kind of repeats key phrases by reflex. It is why he keeps making statements about running for/being elected to the Senate — after decades of doing so it is just ingrained reflex.
Personally I expect Joe will get to perform one final service for the Dem party and die of COVID, so they can justify a national lockdown far stricter than anything yet (publicly) talked about. I am sure he will get a nice state funeral.

Remember when I predicted Kamala Harris would be the Democrat nominee? I even said she had a decent chance of defeating Donald Trump, based on the number of Democrat boxes she checked, but most especially on the fact that she was the candidate of the Tech Oligarchy, and everything that meant.
I was still naive enough to think that elections might actually mean something, and even act as a check on the growing power of the Oligarchs. No more, though. Whatever title Joe Biden may nominally hold, your next

Does it really matter who the puppet is? Commie-la isn’t going to be making any decisions of consequence, any more than addled old Joe will be. Biden at least has the remnants of a fairly effective political skill set with his fake-folksy ‘regular guy from Scranton’ routine. Harris is just a cardboard cutout with the label ‘Woman of Color’ on it. Identity politics is about as close to thought as the Dems get these days.
