Sometimes, just every now and again, actions really DO have consequences.
Michigan police went to an ammunition manufacturer and asked them to donate some ammo so the police could practice shooting. For free. The response is hilarious.
And it most certainly is at that.
Pretty much says it all, don’t it? I’m in full agreement with Divemedic’s closer: “That alone makes me want to buy their ammo.” Don’t it, though. Don’t it just.
Their sticker and patch section is awesome:

I’ll have to check back later as they are out of .40 S&W that i’d like to stock more of. The .300 AAC looks good, if a bit pricey. Might give that a whirl though.
They have a good comparison of .300 AAC Blackout Vs the standard 5.56×45 NATO cartridge.
Iron Bear and I had decided on the .300 Blackout as the best lightweight rifle for all around use, hunting game such as deer up to 200 yards and as a two legged critter stopper. You can build this with a polymer lower to keep the weight low, and if you’re not going to shoot a 1000 rounds a week it should be fine. There is also subsonic ammo available and when combined with a suppressor allows for less stressful practice shooting, or (our choice) the ability to take game such as deer much more quietly.
Aye, it gives me a serious Warm Fuzzy knowing that the BFYTW spirit is alive and well.
That has to be the funniest 2A thing of the year
