Trump FINALLY figures it out. Well, kinda-sorta, I suppose.
President Trump Signals End of “Waste of Time” Ceasefire With Iran
There is a moment in every failed negotiation when one side finally says out loud what everyone else has been thinking. That moment arrived Wednesday in Ankara, when President Donald Trump, seated beside NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte at the alliance’s annual summit, was asked about the status of America’s tentative ceasefire with Iran. His answer required no translation from diplomatic language because he refused to use any.“For me, I think it’s over,” Trump said. “As far as I’m concerned it’s just a waste of time.”
Trump’s frustration was not with the terms of the deal but with the character of the men across the table. He accused Iranian negotiators of agreeing to terms in private and then denying them in public, a pattern anyone who has followed four decades of Islamic Republic diplomacy will recognize instantly.
“They’re liars. We make a deal. … They go outside, talk to the press. They say, ‘We never even talked about it.’ … As far as I’m concerned, it’s over.”
He left the door open for his negotiators to keep meeting with their Iranian counterparts, then promptly explained why it would accomplish nothing. “They can talk, but I think they’re wasting their time. They’re liars, they’re cheats. They’re sick people.”
“Left the door open”? Yeah, you might say that…unfortunately.
The United States Is Still Talking to Iran After Big Strikes
Technical talks between the United States and Iran are ongoing despite recent strikes and apparent rising tensions.A United States official confirmed to Townhall that “the United States is still committed to finding a resolution, and technical talks continue,” adding that “Iran can never possess a nuclear weapon.”
Yeah, well, until you mouthy jackasses recognize once and for all that A) no “deal” you ever reach with them will be worth the simple chronic halitosis expelled during the “negotiations,” and B) the Mad Mullah regime can NOT be trusted, will NEVER negotiate in good faith, and is SUPREMELY uninterested in what the political leadership of the Great Satan might think about their insane ambitions, then an Iranian nuke isn’t quite the practical impossibility certain Administration personnel would have us believe.
I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: as long as there remains a political entity in the ME called the Islamic Republic of Iran, then the job isn’t truly done. And until such time as Amerika v2.0’s political leadership has the intestinal fortitude to see that project through to the bitter, painful end, we shouldn’t even be dicking around over there at all.
Love him or hate him, Trump is only human, and as such is every bit as capable of making a mistake as anybody else. It’s my carefully considered opinion that he’s made a YUUUUGE one here, and needs to try, try again until he gets it right. It’s only the whole world that’s at stake, that’s all—no pressure or anything, Mr President, sir.

Trump may be human, but you can rest assured he has always known what the Iranians are like. He is the first and only president to take care of the Iranian problem, all while reshaping and redefining the Middle East. That reshaping and redefining includes knocking the middle east out of the drivers seat for all things energy, having them stop the terror programs throughout their little empires, and becoming a functioning part of a peaceful world. There is still a ways to go, and no plan as ambitious as the presidents is without issues, a setback, or failures. But as plans go, this one is already the greatest American international success since WW2, and Trump will get no credit.
Trump knows everything you and I know about Iran and 10 times more, due to access to information we don’t get to see.
I can easily believe that this moment, when Trump declared the Iranians too sick and wrong to deal with, was part of the plan all along. By appearing “desperate” for a deal, Trump showed he wouldn’t be the bad guy, except if those Iranians forced him to it. Well, they forced him to it, so Trump’s limited hang-out was good for some diplomatic capital in the end.
I’d like to think there is also logistic or economic advantage to prolonging the phony war. But I’m open to the possibility that the reason things don’t seem to move is because Trump is stymied.
On the third hand, if not now, when?
“Reshaping the ME”? Surely you jest, B. It’d be nice to think so, but the Mullahs remain large and in charge in Iran, Hezbollah and Hamas continue to commit mass murder at will, Lebanon remains an anarchic basket case, etc etc. Pisslam is still a much more powerful influence in the region than Trump will ever be…
Mike, you are not paying close attention. Iran is done, no military and no capability to be anything but a flea upon an elephant. Sure, geography allows fools to believe they have some power but they have none. Note – how many ships have the Iranians sunk? Zero, but their entire Navy is on the bottom of the ocean. How many aircraft can they put in the air? Zero, all blown to bits. How many missiles do they have left? Don’t know, but I know there are no large barrages coming out of there anymore. Nukes? No chance, not in my lifetime, not in the next quarter century.
OPEC, disintegrating fast, UAE already out, others coming or just ignoring the “quotas”. SA still has a lot of clout because their cost of production is under $10 a barrel, so they can stand $30-40 barrels of oil if need be, but that comes at a price even for them. Egypt, remember them? Trump helped get rid of the muslim brotherhood there in his first term and they are a help in the ME. Syria? Assad is gone, hear anyththing from them lately? No, Trump has co-opted them thouroughly. Lebanon, making agreements to disarm hezbollah forcefully, it’s coming. Hamas? Who would be a better question. What is Hamas doing? Nothing.
That leaves some mullahs in Iran. Big F’in deal. The big one is DEAD. His replacement is either dead or dying, hasn’t been seen in months. Loudmouths making noise and nothing else.
Now let’s get to the Big Prize – China. Every country and leader around the world now knows that China is a paper tiger, of no importance to the world at large with no influence in the ME.
Big Prize two – Russia, no longer any ME influence. Their weapons systems are trash, no one wants them anymore. They cannot afford to pay for proxy terror.
The ME is just a part of the real new world order, the American centric world order. Venezuela, check. Cuba, check is coming, and soon. Then Colombia and Mexico. It’s all happening right now.
South America under Trump’s leadership is throwing off the commie shackles quickly. It is truly remarkable, nothing like this has happened in my 73+ years on this earth.
