Constitutional purists, in the main, adhere to the judicial philosophy of ‘originalism.’ That is, they do not believe the Constitution and its Amendments are evolving or subject to change in meaning based on the mood of the times. They try to understand the contemporaneous intent of the words by those who wrote them.

Those of us of a certain age will likely think this just too durned obvious for words, while for most of you young whelps out there it will probably come as real news.

Another civics lesson, complete with obligatory CF-style digression, that’s been languishing in the “Local Drafts” folder for a goodish while now, presented in full below the fold.

Perhaps the greatest fallacy of the whole “our diversity is our strength” nonsense is the idea that people from Third World, or even post-Stone Age, low-trust societies can successfully set aside their culture and upbringing to function as members of a modern nation where their neighbor is a fellow citizen and not prey. Once upon a time, our education system was at least as devoted to developing citizens as it was to gender pronouns. Teachers took kids from rural Sicily, Jews from the ghettos of Poland and Russia, the kids of sharecroppers and coal miners; in fact, they took all comers and turned them into Americans. Then, and I date this from probably the 1970s, the “melting pot” that saw Americans as Americans became the “salad bowl” where everyone was hyphenated and where preserving ethnic peculiarities was seen as a governmental duty, not a parental responsibility.

Where the tradition of vendetta and pogrom never took root under the old system, it is on the cusp of flourishing today. However, the “multicultural” hogwash and DEI have done in a couple of decades what a Civil War and mass immigration from the mid-nineteenth to early twentieth century could not do. It has succeeded in balkanizing America. It created multigenerational ethnic enclaves that held to the “old ways,” with no desire to either assimilate or adapt to American culture. There are places that arrest Christian missionaries and where young girls are routinely sent back to their native country for genital mutilations.

One of the most notable examples of a failure to assimilate was observed on Tuesday night in Minneapolis. The mayor’s race in Minneapolis featured a soft-socialist who had gravely failed the city during the mostly peaceful George Floyd riots, that would be Jacob Frey, against a hardcore socialist who could’ve been an extra for the movie Captain Phillips, that would be Omar Fateh. Fateh won the Democrat convention through support of the same network of groups that sent Zohran Mamdani, but some very crude vote fraud caused the Democrats to pull their endorsement.

When the smoke cleared, Frey had prevailed 50-44. But the real story was that Minneapolis’s Somali population that has sent fraudster and bigamist Ilhan Omar to Congress since 2018 did not unite behind Fateh because he belonged to the wrong clan.

Streiff then gets into the weeds of Somali clans and their interrelationships as regards Muzziesota politics, which I’m sure is fascinating stuff, but I didn’t read it all, and ain’t gonna. Way I figger it, see, is that as an American, and one who doesn’t live anywhere near Mogadishapolis or any other of the alarming number of Moslem enclaves currently scarring this once-fair land, I don’t have to give a fat rat’s ass about that crap.

Ahh, but finally we land on Ron DeSantis laying down some 24-karat common sense himself, per his usual wont.

EXCELLENT question, Mr Governor, sir, and one for which I can offer no good answer.

Wiser men than myself have said it: “If you invite the Third World, you will become the Third World.” I do not want to live in the Third World, am supremely disinterested in learning any more than I know already about Third World cultures, their traditions and beliefs, their societal structure and/or organization, if any. I ask no more of the primordial denizens of the Third World than that they just stay the hell away from me, thanks.

Likewise, I consider myself sufficiently “enriched,” both culturally and in all other senses as well. I don’t give a fiddler’s fuck for “diversity,” “equity,” or for the matter of it, “inclusion” either. At this time, I have no plans to learn the Swahili, Yoruba, or Bloobalooboo languages. English, French, and my miniscule smattering of Spanish, German, and Russian suit me just fine, thanks again. Smarmy, supercilious shitlibs who find the doings of smelly, grunting, ass-crack-spelunking man-apes clad in unlaundered dishdashas, incongruously colorful keffiyehs, and sandals endlessly intriguing appear to be far more impressed with their own broad-minded worldliness than I’ll ever be.

Somali clan interactions, now a pivotal influence on Minnesota poiitics? Bah, sayeth moi. Most of the unassimilable sand niggers shouldn’t even be here in the first place—they don’t belong ihere; they have no right whatever to be here. They harbor neither affection, nor loyalty, nor the merest modicum of respect for this nation, its traditions, its heritage, its unique history, or the core values upon which it was Founded.

In the main, the Somali immivaders’ contribution to American society, security, prosperity, and prospects will add up to—lemmessee now, naught times naught plus naught, carry the naught—a big, fat zero (0), absolutely nil, nothing whatsoever. Their influence and overall impact, in both the long and the short term, will be by far a net negative, in stark contrast with that of the Irish, the Italians, and yes, those pesky damned (((***JooJooJooJOOOOOOZ!!***))) as well. Count on it.

Which is probably just as well, I suppose, seeing as how the 65-IQ, innately violent savages have nothing worth a brass farthing to offer America anyhow. The illegal alien horde which has washed up on these shores over the last ten/twelve years or so did NOT come here to make America a better place, or to make themselves better people, or to make a better life for their children. No, they came here simply to take—as much as they could get their grubby mitts on, by any means they could conjure, for however it lasted.
