Episode Four drops—“Wannabe dictator”—and it’s a real doozy.

— Tucker Carlson (@TuckerCarlson)
As Barry says, this one may well be his best yet. Money quote: “Just because he’s trying to put the other candidate in prison for the rest of his life for crimes he himself committed doesn’t mean he has a totalitarian impulse. C’mon, that’s absurd!” Looks like I’m gonna need to set up a new category for these Tucker posts, I’m thinking.
Update! Annnd our new Tucker cat is a done deal. Be sure you have your sarcasm filter set on “High” for this one, folks; it’s so blistering, so caustic—particularly in the last third or so—that it could literally peel paint.
Faux news has done us a great favor, even though it was not intentional. By ridding themselves of the only person worth watching for political commentary, analysis, and reporting, they untethered him entirely. He no longer has a master in control and it’s glorious.
I think Carlson is just warming up.
And Faux news is the bud light of the cable business. It’s not going to “blow over”.
True, dat, Barr. It’s looking as if Ben Bartee’s “Dark Carlson” (I wrote about it here) prediction is coming true in spades, and it’s a joy and a wonder to behold.
I had forgotten that bit, thanks for the reminder.
That was something beautiful, but disturbing, to behold.
Beautiful because he went so many places no one is willing to go and in such a manner that the point was indelibly driven home. Biteme is a Wannabe Dictator. The question is, is he still just Wannabe? That is the disturbing part. Several times, and I believe deliberately and for effect, Tucker dropped the Wannabe qualifier.
Is he correct? It’s very disturbing to think he is, but how do argue with what he just presented in a simple 10 minutes, give or take? What did he get wrong?
Disturbing.
