The CF comments section is pretty free-form and rough and tumble; tolerance level for rowdiness and misbehavior is fairly high here, but is NOT without limit.

It is Pear Harbor Day, Dec 7, 1941.
I wonder on this day, what the world would be like had the germans and japanese not decided to take over and enslave the world. There is no answer of course.
We kept the lesson for many years after, the one the Boy Scouts always taught, “Be Prepared”. We were not ready for WW2, and for that reason alone we got WW2.
We have now lost sight of that lesson. The outcome of such is known. The only question is when.

By the way, I’m getting these from Gateway Pundit. It is going to be what I spend my Christmas dollars on. I used to give heavily to the Salvation Army at Christmas, but no more. I had been saying that the only way we can tackle the really hard things we need to get the economy on a firm foundation.
Then interest rates could rise without a crash, we can slim down government because people will be able to get private sector jobs, we can stop the Bubble blowing and get the financial system back to solvency,
That requires deregulating, lower taxes, stopping illegals and send millions back, stop the market manipulation in global trade and currencies, and get domestic energy production going.
Trump was addressing all those things. He was winning on that front. He was undermining the Power of the PRC, Iran, Russia and all the Middle East assholes and the Domestic Political class, who are largely.in the pockets of one or more or our enemies, was getting smacked as the money wasn’t flowing their way anymore.
It has to be done. Trump was our last chance at the Ballot Box.
I just don’t see any path that fixes the Election Fraud that both Parties employ and will not abandon voluntarily. They’re using the “Variants” now to keep all the Electoral illegal voting methods. They’ll claim, erroneously, that everything was fine in 2020, the GOP will agree, and unlimited Mail-In and 2-3 week voting windows, and Dominion Machines will become Standard Operating Procedure from now on. Who’s going to oppose that? Mitch Turtle? Hah!

I see that the northeastern US is having a big “surge” in Covid “cases”. The region is among the most heavily jabbed in the nation, so obviously this means more boosters are needed. And mask mandates, too. All that stuff that clearly is not working, do it more! Harder!
Several states in the region have activated national guard personnel to help staff hospitals…which are short of staff because those same states fired tons of medical personnel after they refused the clot shot. The super geniuses in charge, apparently not being satisfied with the hole they have dug for themselves, are now making things worse with this national guard stunt. What do they think those medically trained national guard members do when not activated?
Rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic is always a popular activity with clueless politicians. What do you mean shuffling the numbers around from one category to another does not change the total number of trained medical personnel available? Our spreadsheets ARE reality!
I was sceptical from the first and when Fauci dissed HCQ as a potential killer it was confirmed.
Every day since their brazen lying and obfuscation and outright obvious inanities have confirmed that this was all a Scam.
Yet many people still buy into it hook, line and sinker. Twitter is even banning people for directing people to websites that say the Vaxxed can get and spread Covid. The website is the CDC!!
At this point it’s so absurd that even Kafka would reject it as a plotline.
And spreadsheets that confirm reality isn’t real and that unreality IS real comes straight out of the Climate Change Hoax. Gee, they found an even better Scam to run. It’s a bilking of the taxpayer for politicians and Big Pharma, stealing Elections for Deep State and the ChiComs and establishing Emergency Powers to command business and people what to do and when to do it and even whether they can go outside or open their businesses.

Watching the left freak out (again) and melt down (again) after Manchin temporarily put a torpedo into their Build Bigger Bolshevism proposal has been amusing. The weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth…the proclamations that this was “the last chance to save the planet” (for the umpteen-thousandth “last” time)…the screams from the squad of idiots that this is (yet another) “attack on our democracy”…the usual Wall Street suspects wailing that this will reduce GDP (as if government boondoggles wasting still more trillions actually helped the economy). The list does go on and on.
I hope this proposal is actually dead, but I doubt it. I am sure some “compromise” will be struck to waste trillions more dollars and stoke inflation even higher. But at least we can enjoy the left’s suffering for a while.
