For anyone who had doubts that the Big Steal tactics would be repeated in future elections, recent events in NYC should be instructive. The hard left has “found” over 100K votes out of nowhere. While NYC is deeply corrupt and has been for ages, and fully deserves its fate, I take this as a clear sign that all the “but the midterms!” blather is going to turn out to be just as meaningless as most of us predicted after the Big Steal was rubber-stamped by the courts.

You have stated what everyone seems to have forgotten.
I keep hearing all kinds of Republicans and conservatives saying things like “we’ll get ’em next time”, or “We’ll get “em in the 2022 mid-terms”, or “We’ll get “em with DeSantis/Trump/Whoever in 2024”. What doesn’t seem to have sunk in with them is that unless and until the Great Steal of 2020 is completely unwound, publicly exposed in excruciating detail, and then very publicly undone, there will never be a ‘next time’ again…EVER.
The entire Democrat/Communist vote-stealing apparatus is still in place. The Smartmatic voting machines and their Dominion software (which are specifically DESIGNED to allow vote flipping) are still everywhere. The designed-to-be-fraudulent mail-in ballots are still going to be sent out to every registered voter, including illegal aliens. The hundreds of thousands of registered ‘phantom’ voters in each swing state who DO NOT EXIST, (exposed by the statistics and IT expert Bobby Piton) and ALL OF WHOM voted for Biden, are all still on the voter rolls. The electronic election fraud system exposed by the brilliant mathematician Dr Shiva Ayudurai, which systematically skimmed ‘excess’ Republican votes in strong Red counties in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, and moved them to Blue big city counties and simultaneously changing them to votes for Biden…IS STILL IN PLACE.
Their entire stinking fraudulent nationwide voter fraud and electronic election fraud apparatus in its entirety IS STILL IN PLACE. Not even one small part of it has been disconnected, removed, or dismantled. The Arizona audit is a good step in the right direction. This process needs to be initiated in every state where the election outcome was close, and then acted upon when the fraud is exposed. Failing that, all of this “We’ll get ’em next time” bravado is nothing but fantasy and wishful thinking.

These days, whenever I see someone like DeSantis getting all of the MSM and Conservative media attention that he does, I figure we’re being primed to accept him as the Designated Opposition Candidate being prepped for his role in the puppet show.
Sadly, I’m all too often not wrong these days. I wish it were otherwise.
Kristine Noem looked to be it for awhile, back in the Bat-Flu era, and then she came out on the wrong side of the trans sports thing, IIRC, and got tossed aside and now you seldom hear anything about her.
Then it was someone else briefly, I forget who, and they lasted even less time in the spotlight than Noem did.

Regarding the idea that the
CCPGOP will deploy their “splitter strategy” to eliminate Trump –I’m not really thinking DeSantis is a part of that. Could be.
In any event, it will not work. Should Trump decide to run again there is nothing, short of assassination, that the corrupt
CCPGOP can do about it.There is not a single state primary that has an election that Trump will fail to win, and win overwhelmingly. Perhaps some backroom primary would have a chance, but there are not enough of those to have more than a marginal effect.
So all you neverTrumpers can go ahead and start whining again.
