Today, “Screamin’ Meemie Monday,” I ran this over at the Eyrie:

Having gotten a perfect score on those 20, it got me to thinking about another meme I had picked up from MWC not long ago, whereupon I decided to ask a question of my own.

Okay, all you old geezers, how many got it right? Heh.

Update! Just checked to make sure, and I might be wrong on that one: the character tied to the tracks could actually be Nell Fenwick, although Nell had flaming red hair, and the girl above looks to be more blonde than red.

20 for me as well. Not only did we memorize phone numbers, we had a rotary dial phone, and a “party” line system where several neighbors shared the same line 🙂 I think that *might* have led to mucho gossip among the old biddy’s in the neighborhood…

OTOH, not being much into TV*, I could not name the cartoon characters although I do recall seeing them.

*my best recollection is about one hour on Saturday mornings (Sky King and ?), and then a couple hours perhaps on Sunday evening (Bonanza and ?). We typically went out the door at sunrise and came in when Mom made us, usually after the sun went down. Also, we were at someone’s house for lunch, ravenous devils that we were.
