  1. I have emailed several of those that I know knew Ironbear through internet interaction.

I am sad to report that Sherman Barnes, Ironbear, has passed on to what lies past this life. Apparently Sherman left us on Feb 3rd. We often emailed, sometimes every day, about various topics. When I got no reply I knew something was wrong and I managed to get him on the phone. It was unclear where he was, but I figured out later that he was in the hospital, in intensive care. I spoke with him several times, the last time he seemed agitated and since then I have not gotten any response, by phone or email. The hospital is not allowed to tell you anything other than if he is a patient or not.

I don’t know what happened, only that it was sudden. Perhaps some kind of accident or perhaps a medical situation. He had mentioned waiting on the result of a biopsy, of something from the brain. It was such a disjointed conversation that I have no clue if that was actually the case or not, but some brain anomaly would explain the odd conversation and the further lack of contact.

In my discussions with Sherman it seemed he had no close family left, maybe a 2nd cousin or someone of that nature. Sherman had a housemate but the number he gave me was wrong so I never was able to contact him. I may be able to figure out an address and perhaps write to the housemate. I was trying to piece that together when I discovered he was in the hospital.

We kept up a running conversation through email and the occasional phone call. We discussed everything from gardening to guns and ammo. We were both in the process of collecting parts to build firearms and it was always a topic.

I will miss Sherman. He was a rare wit, wisdom, and intellect.

    RIP Ironbear.

    1. He’s been in my prayers in recent months while he was in the hospital, but he did not reply to my emails or card so I figured he was too sick to do so. Thank you Barry for keeping us updated.

Sherman lived only a short distance from where my family lives, and we had made plans to meet up on my next visit, but unfortunately the COVID shut down & health issues prevented me from travelling… so we were still on, but postponed. I will visit his grave, instead, now.

Sherman was a gentleman online, and I think of him as a friend. I miss him.

  2. SteveF put up a post on Daily Pundit –

George Atkisson has passed away. I don’t know if many here had any interaction with George. He was a presence at DP and on Insty, maybe others.

    RIP George Atkisson

As we get older, either we kick the bucket early or we see the passing of friends and family. When the first uncle died I knew we were in for a long slow train of funerals.

And yet I’m never prepared for the loss.

    1. Don’t believe a lot of what you are hearing. A lot of it is disinformation coming from all sides.

      1. Of course. Disinformation from all sides is rampant in any conflict.

That does not mean that all information is false. Regardless of all those “military experts” claiming the war is going swimmingly for the Russians, it’s not. There are many images that I have seen from Kyiv and Kharkiv that I’m certain are true, especially those from Kharkiv. I recognize some of the locations. That does not mean that I think the Ukrainians can hold off the Russians indefinitely. The Russians can only hold a defiant Ukraine by being what they are, ruthless killers.

This report draws upon direct quotations from Putin and his fellow cabal members. Are they false? It’s possible, anything is possible, but not everything is false.

I despise the puppet biden and the puppet masters. They are evil and corrupt and would start a war for their own purposes. They goaded, in one form or another, a willing putin. But it is putin that chose to begin the killing. The excuses made for that are generally pathetic.

I equally despise the Russians and putin.

Who is our enemy? Ukraine or Russia?

I know who the enemy is. I know who is killing people for no reason but the desire to kill. The Ukraine posed no threat to Russia. None. Not even as a NATO member. NATO has never threatened Russia. Unless you wish to call a self defense pact a threat.

This is putins war and bidens war. They both wanted it.

        1. There is no way to tell how any of this is going.

We have no reliable press able to get in there and figure it out.

Ukraine is a kleptocracy. That doesn’t excuse Russia. But we pushed for Ukraine to join NATO, and there was no strategic benefit for it. Ukraine took the bait.

It’s highly likely our Deep State and Putin worked this out a while ago. Perhaps Trump derailed it. Or perhaps they were consolidating gains and waiting foe when they knew The Steal would free them and line their coffers from high energy prices.

NATO is an anachronism. Pushing it towards Russia’s borders a provocation. There was no need for it. So Trump smacked NATO around as a carrot, and smacked Putin around in Syria as a stick. Then made every effort to lower energy prices and make the US energy independent.

Tha’s how you do it. That Joetato Junta blew that all up in less than a year seems to indicate this is just another Fuck America operation of the Globalists.

I hope we stay out of it now. There is no way a Joetato led America ever comes out of this better off. Almost guaranteed we get screwed.

          1. No argument with that. I don’t repeat myself in every comment, but I have said I thought it possible that putin and the biden puppeteers planned this out. I think it less likely seeing events unfold and now lean to the biden puppeteers having pushed the proper buttons to make putin dance to their tune.

But I will not excuse putin or russia for the murders they are committing. Putin didn’t go into Ukraine because he feared NATO. Putin wants to reestablish the Soviet Union, with force as required. Putin is an enemy. The Ukraine is not, kleptocracy or not.

And no, I don’t want the USA involved. I’d nuke Moscow though, just on general principles. Twice.

            1. Putin wants to create a Greater Eurasia – I doubt the Chinese will go along, but that’s what he wants. Those bioweapons labs (see https://streamfortyseven.substack.com/p/public-health-or-bioweapons-research) – and that’s what they were – were sufficient casus belli for Putin or any reasonable leader. Just think of what we’d do if Justin Trudeau went full commie and let the Chinese put in labs like that in Ontario. We’d make very short work of him and his government, guaranteed.

              As to Eurasia, see https://streamfortyseven.substack.com/p/heres-a-little-article-by-aleksandr

              1. Nobody’s right, when everybody’s wrong.

There are no “good guys” here, including our own Deep State Junta.

Trump realized that and used stick to keep them all in line, and then used carrot to get them to do what was “not wrong” (not exactly right, but at least not wrong).

                1. Yep, as with most things, Trump had a clear understanding of the issues, and was fearless in dealing with them.

              2. You do understand that almost every developed country has biological labs doing research and most can easily be defined as bio-weapons research. Those things that are against the law here, are still done on every large university campus, just in a different guise.

Just think of what we’d do if Justin Trudeau went full commie…

                You mean he hasn’t already?

    1. I am dubious of these “excess deaths” data. That said, it’s likely it was fentanyl accidental deaths and/or increased suicides etc

      1. or vaxx shots…
That’s what the data suggests. The deaths are occurring after the vaxx.

        1. There have been a number of athletes developing blood clots or having heart issues after vaxxing.

Like that top Women’s Golfer I saw just the other day.

            1. Ok so how is it no NCAA basketball athletes have had this problem.

I’m not saying it’s not true. It’s just weird it’s specific to a certain segment of athletes.

                It’s a long list. It’s the not/vaxx

                https://brjm.org/318-athlete-cardiac-arrests-after-covid-vax/

                  1. The number of athletes that are NCAA basketball players is a very small subset of athletes.

Then there is the real problem:
Our government lies and the sickness and death among US athletes is being hidden.

  3. The panicking death march is in its infancy. America One a 5 billion dollar a year insurance company has just done a report on deaths be up 40% for 18-64. They are panicking on prospect of pay outs. This has NEVER happened before. Probably JAC

  4. GDTBATH

Carolina up 13 on defending nat champ and #1 seed Baylor at the half
20 minutes Heels, 20 more minutes.
