Britannia, sunk
I’ve seen this mentioned several places already, but only just got around to watching it. If you haven’t, allow me to say that this has to be one of the most pathetic, shameful, and downright disturbing things I think I’ve ever seen. Watch it; if you look closely, you can actually see the sun finally setting on England-That-Was at last. It has been replaced, of course, by the Islamic crescent.
Absolutely, positively nauseating. Omri chillingly sums up:
British Islam has functionally defeated British Anglicanism. Schools are canceling Christmas in favor of Eid. Defending Christianity on the radio is now a firing offense. British prisoners are converting en masse to Islam either to get gang protection or because Muslims, having hijacked maximum security prisons, are forcing them to.
Everyday British institutions – those daily things that give life and color to a culture – are being gutted whenever they conflict with Muslim sensibilities. Historic pubs are being quickly altered whenever they rouse offense. Cultural staples like pork are becoming subject to discrimination lawsuits.
Meanwhile bloody Ashura flogging is now a public British ritual. There is a wave of honor killings crashing across Britain, with brothers killing their own sisters. Sharia – having been supported by a broad range of British legal officials – has now been officially incorporated into financial policy and civil law. “Moderate” British Muslim organizations are launching witchhunts against Muslims who cooperate with anti-terrorism investigators. “Moderate” British mosques are hosting 9/11 champions. The country is crawling with jihadists. British radicals even have their own airline.
Conclusion: it’s over.
It surely is. And the side representing barbarism and evil has won. We have allowed idiot Leftists to convince us that Western civilization is not worth defending; this is the inevitable result of their, and our, hopeless folly. Think it won’t happen here? Think again, guybo; it’s already well underway.

What makes it sadder, I think, is the obvious plight of the average Brit. Quiet desperation is the English way, that's what Pink Floyd said, and I think its right. Brits are schooled with a cosmic thumb on their foreheads in a way Americans never were. The idea that anyone can be anything, as always preached on these shores, does not play over there. The social caste system is a real presence. Born with a humble income and so ye shall die, and that seems to be okay with them. What they want most is quiet neighbors and a good harvest from their garden. Not all of them, of course, but there are plenty like that. What I can't understand is why these quiet folk don't quietly revolt. Start a resistance movement. It's war all right, better get with it. I hate to see the Brits going quietly into that bad night.
As for the retreating police video, nowhere in the world can you really expect the cops to keep you safe, nor should you. But when the citizens see the cops in full rout, it's gotta be disheartening. If I owned a shop along that sad parade route, I'd be slashing prices, selling the hell out and booking.
Something besides scared cops had to be at work there, like CS brass ordering a retreat. Don't forget, those London cops--or some London cops--are used to dealing with some of the worst football hooligans in the world. Riots are part of their diet. So this can't have been just plain fear. At least, I really hope not. But whatever it was, it was real bad. Real bad. The more I think about it, the more I think it stinks of chickenshit brass.
England--it's time for the Bulldog to fart, flex it's shoulders and start biting. Even underground resistance.
I'm British by birth and citizenship and am ashamed and discouraged beyond belief. In the 1980s, the Kinks sang "there's no England now" and I thought it was hyperbole. When Muslims are chasing a large group of bobbies down the street chanting "Allahu akhbar!" a terrible line has been crossed.
Britain's ethos of free expression covers peaceable assembly, not rioting. If the authorities don't crack down on this, it's going to get much worse. Instead, in Britain, the Continent, and even in the U.S., the cops are chasing away the peaceable demonstrators "for their own good." That's a moral inversion that will lead to thugs controlling the streets.
If it were up to me, I'd read the Riot Act, tell the bobbies to get out of the way, bring in a regiment of Highlanders and go Peterloo on their barbarian asses.
