Or birthday anniversary, at any rate, to one of the greatest pianists of the 20th century, Vladimir Samoylovich Horowitz.

The above vid is just random excerpts from a Teewee show I liked enough to tape on VHS years ago, called Horowitz Plays Mozart, wherein the recoding studio session of the maestro playing Mozart’s wonderful Piano Concerto No 23 (K488) is captured—all three movements, plus a hilarious Q&A section with Horowitz as well.
