Obama implements blasphemy law, sharia

No, he’s not a Muslim. He’s an opportunistic despot. Glenn waxes eloquent:

Here’s the key bit: “Just after midnight Saturday morning, authorities descended on the Cerritos home of the man believed to be the filmmaker behind the anti-Muslim movie that has sparked protests and rioting in the Muslim world.”

When taking office, the President does not swear to create jobs. He does not swear to “grow the economy.” He does not swear to institute “fairness.” The only oath the President takes is this one:

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

By sending — literally — brownshirted enforcers to engage in — literally — a midnight knock at the door of a man for the non-crime of embarrassing the President of the United States and his administration, President Obama violated that oath. You can try to pretty this up (It’s just about possible probation violations! Sure.), or make excuses or draw distinctions, but that’s what’s happened. It is a betrayal of his duties as President, and a disgrace.

He won’t resign, of course. First, the President has the appreciation of free speech that one would expect from a Chicago Machine politician, which is to say, none. Second, he’s not getting any pressure. Indeed, the very press that went crazy over Ari Fleischer’s misrepresented remarks seems far less interested in the actions of an administration that I repeat, literally sent brown-shirted enforcers to launch a midnight knock on a filmmaker’s door.

But Obama’s behavior — and that of his enablers in the press — has laid down a marker for those who are paying attention. By these actions he is, I repeat, unfit to hold office. I hope and expect that the voters will agree in November.

I hope and expect the same. But if not, stronger measures will need to be considered. The loathsome thug Obama has crossed all sorts of bright red lines with this one; his America bears no resemblance whatever to the one envisioned by the Founders, and it ought not be allowed to survive even one more year. Glenn says in closing that “the real shame is on the man at the top of the hierarchy.” True enough…for now. But if we allow this un-American tyrant to continue to besmirch the office he now holds, the shame will be all ours. This picture ought to be the shot heard round the world, and will eventually determine not just Ogabe’s fate, but how many of us remain truly American:

This is precisely what tyranny looks like, people. It is a photo of an Obamerican subject being hauled off for “voluntary” questioning in the dead of night, in front of a mass of Ministry Of Propaganda cameras, for the Crime Against The State of exercising his supposed free speech “rights,” now nonexistent…for him, and for all of us. If this doesn’t get your blood absolutely boiling, and inspire both dismay and an ironclad determination to rid yourself of liberal-fascist tyranny once and for all, then crouch down and lick the hand that both feeds and enslaves you; may you wear your chains lightly, and may posterity forget that you were ever my countryman. The same holds especially true for any pedantic, smug fool who is making excuses for this outrage against liberty, or cheering it on.

Obama just proved beyond any doubt that rioting and violence are excellent tools for any aggrieved group to use to get what they want from gutless, liberal-fascist, despotic cowards. Very well. Let’s see where that leads. The jug-eared son of a bitch has sown the wind.

It’s gotten far uglier far faster than I dreamed it would, I’ll say that much; I didn’t expect blatant, right-out-in-the-open arrests for free-speech violations until after he was safely re-elected, honestly (any Tea Partier who sees this photo without experiencing a sudden eery chill is kidding himself). But I suppose that, ultimately, it’s good that his hand has been forced; now all can see–or, at least, those who will–what he really is. As I said: we’ll soon know if that’s enough of us.

We MUST rid ourselves of this tyrant. We must. And then we must begin the process of dismantling the Superstate that allows him or any other to wield unchecked power over us, if we are to dare to call ourselves a free people ever again. That is the simple truth, and Boehner, Romney, et al need to be made fully aware that it is NOT subject to negotiation.

  1. I’ve borrowed your headline and an excerpt from the post and put it up on my site, with a link back to here.
All my life I’ve admired America, her people and her Constitution. If the thug in the White House and his minions get away with this, I believe it’s not hyperbole to say the Republic’s days are numbered.

  2. They told me if I voted for John McCain the government would start rounding up American Citizens for questioning, and they were right.

  3. I’ve told whoever would listen. It won’t be some tactical SWAT team of Federal agents from a mysterious alphabet soup agency busting down your door in the middle of the night. It will be the local cop that you’ve known since highschool, or your COUNTY SHERRIFF who comes knocking.

Look at these fucking Gestapo fucks.

They don’t have the slightest clue that what they’re doing is implementing fascistic, police-state, tyranny. And they wouldn’t care — if, that is, they had the brainpower between the five of them to noodle it through.

Oooh, “Most LEOs I know & have worked with would never do this, or that, or the other.”

They’ll do exactly what they’re ordered to do in almost every instance. Whether it’s arresting you for exercising your First Amendment right of Free Speech, confiscating your guns, carrying out illegal warrantless searches on a whim, arrests for being out past curfew, daring to insult our Ear Leader, or maybe just having a little too much of what others do not.

This is not something I would have said ten, or even five, years ago; but “BEWARE THE POLICE!” Any police.

  4. Billyb would have us believe when his lawnmower doesn’t start we flip it over and start screaming at the blades, interesting idea but ultimately useless. You start at the source of the power and fix it.

You’d have me believe that LEO’s be given the freedom to individually refuse an order they believe to be unconstitutional when in fact that determination of lawfulness rightly belongs in the court of law not with the lowest common denominator couriers sent to pick the person up.

What’s horseshit is your projection of where the power problem lies is with the very visible foot soldier rather then the general and the administration that fuels his decisions. You want a source to vent your anger on find a baby boomer and punch him in the face, they put in place the levers and pulleys that Obama and his ilk ultimately are pulling today.

I on the other hand will continue voting in such a way as to cut the head off the snake rather then worry about the goddamn tail.

  5. “You’d have me believe that LEO’s be given the freedom to individually refuse an order they believe to be unconstitutional”

    Yes. I would.

“when in fact that determination of lawfulness rightly belongs in the court of law”

    No. It doesn’t. Especially now.

“Billyb would have us believe when his lawnmower doesn’t start we flip it over and start screaming at the blades”

The point was not that the police, whatever orders they follow or don’t follow, are the source of the problem; nor that the source of the problem should not be addressed.

Besides, I only screamed at the blades that one time. I didn’t think anyone was watching.

  6. where do you guys get this trash? you must have a H on for Obama, no one can hate that much unless it’s over a lost love…

  7. Well, with the reporter circus going on outside, I would believe that he was willing to be brought in for questioning/protection.

And if I wanted to avoid the most people, I’d do it in the middle of the night.

  8. Good thing the Founders didn’t wait for English equivalents of Courts and Parliament to address the egregious trampling of their natural rights. When the Redcoats came to take their rights away they threw tea into the harbor. When they came to take their guns they stood their ground at Lexington and Concord and faced off against those Redcoats. When they took the high ground around Boston they held it against massive charges by the strongest army in the world at the time and they forced them out of Boston.

Yes I think it is time that police, when given an order that is on the face of it blatantly unconstitutional, should disobey that order and let the Feds do their own dirty work. Luckily the Fed Gestapo have local police to shield them by doing the dirty work. They could have said it was out of their jurisdiction as this man obviously had not broken any local laws.

Which goes to show how Obama can take advantage of these economic uncertain times. People are scared shitless about losing their jobs and will follow orders. Now you see why these “progressives” love themselves some perpetual crisis. FDR attempted the same imperial power grabs. Thank God he died after just four elections.

Yes, we need ordinary citizens, including local police, to stand tall against this blatant tyranny. If they do, we in the blogosphere must support them. If they don’t we must point that out.

  9. “Mike”: Before you start with this foolishness about “Shariah law,” you might consider the fact that Nakoula, who was on parole or probation after serving time in prison for bank fraud, may have violated terms of his probation in relation to the video and its uploading onto the web.

“He had been ordered not to own or use devices with access to the Web without approval from his probation officer -– and any approved computers were to be used for work only. “Defendant shall not access a computer for any other purpose,” the terms read.”

So the questioning might very well have been in relation to that.

All this bull about Shariah law is ridiculous. You are just racists with a new excuse.

  10. So that’s why they sent 5 police officers to his house in the dead of the night? Why not just his parole officer quietly visits him during normal, daylight hours?

  11. “We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”

  12. jfhickey, I repeat: you’re a fool. If George W Bush had hauled Michael Moore’s fat ass in for “questioning” in the middle of the night because he’d exercised his right to free speech and made a movie that was unhelpful to Bush’s agenda, you’d still be screaming bloody murder over it to this day–and rightly so. The difference between you and me is that I’d have joined you. For you liberal idiots, freedom of speech–any Constitutionally-protected right–is conditional, based entirely on which political party is currently in power.

Probation violation? Give me a fucking break; the video had been out for months with nary a peep from anyone over it. And probation is a court function, run and administrated by them, and outside the Feds’ jurisdiction. Use whatever justification you like to support your Holy Emperor; most of us can see through your pathetic rationalizations easily enough.

And FYI, Islam is not a “race,” thereby revealing your all-too-typical “racist!” insult for exactly what it is: the last desperate resort of a contemptible, ignorant scoundrel who has no real argument to make. If Constitutional liberty had depended on people like you for their establishment and defense, we wouldn’t have any; they wouldn’t exist. Thank God better men than you were in existence back then to do the job for us, bequeathing us the birthright of freedom you and your liberal-fascist ilk are content to see pissed over.

As I intimated in the post, Samuel Adams said it best: depart from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen. You and your ilk are despicable, a disgrace to everything this nation was founded upon and is supposed to be all about.
