Friend To All Tyrants Barrack Hussein Obama is continuing to do his best to make sure Iran’s savage mullahs stay in power:
According to officials, sanctions against Iran are expected to top the G8’s agenda. Sources are also predicting a pointed debate between the heads of the industrialized nations over an appropriate response to Iranian authorities’ suppression of reformist demonstrations in Iran led by Mir Hossein Mousavi and other Iranian opposition leaders.
Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi hinted in a newspaper interview earlier in the week that the G8 is due to decide on new financial sanctions against the Islamic Republic. Berlusconi disclosed that he had spoken with the heads of the G8 nations and has discussed such steps with them.
According to the Italian prime minister, “the general leaning [among G8 leaders] is toward sanctions.”
However, diplomatic sources in New York reported that American officials are working behind the scenes to prevent new sanctions from being imposed against Iran.
Maybe one of us should start up one of those “I’m sorry…” websites, to express proper shame and contrition to people enslaved by Hussein’s pals the world over. Once again, here’s what the soulless slimeball currently squatting in the White House is supporting — in America’s name. In your name, and in mine.
Ed once more asks: “Why? Why would the Obama administration oppose using sanctions as a diplomatic and economic device to put pressure on the Iranian mullahs to reform?” To which I once more reply: look at who he is, look at who he’s always been. Tyranny’s where his heart is, to twist a venerable old phrase.
Throughout his misbegotten political career, he has never yet passed up a single chance — not one — to align himself closely with dictators, murderous kleptocrats, and goons, in opposition to freedom and democracy. He vilifies and undermines the security of the only functioning democracy in the Middle East, and encourages those who machine-gun school buses, launch rocket and mortar attacks against peaceful, noncombatant residential districts while hiding in hospitals or ambulances, and blow up innocent civilians in restaurants. He insults our free-world allies and sucks up to hideous oppressors at every turn. He threatens a nation in our hemisphere struggling to protect its constitutional government against a dimestore dictator’s thuggish ambitions, while refusing to meaningfully and forcefully engage one of the worst autocratic regimes in human history.
What more does he have to do, tattoo “I AM THE SCOURGE OF HUMAN LIBERTY” on his forehead or something? Wear a super-hero costume with the words “BAD GUY” emblazoned across his chest? Have John Carpenter’s Darth Vader’s Theme played every time he walks into another of his rigged press conferences or “town halls?” What?
