Jeff Frederick Is A Fucking Moron

February 10th, 2009

How else do you explain this?

A Republican,  presented with a chance to swing the Virginia Senate to Republican control, can’t keep his mouth shut for a few hours and ensures control of the Virginia Senate remains with the Dems.

From his Twitter account:

Big news coming out of Senate: Apparently one dem is either switching or leaving the dem caucus. Negotiations for power sharing underway.

No, really, how fucking stupid do you have to be to notify the world before the deal is done?

Thanks Jeff! We appreciate it! Maybe next time you get the Tracy Flick urge to be a big shot you’ll remember this.

Unlikely, but I can dream.  File under “Fucking Morons.”

Representatives from the Senate Republican Caucus informed several members of our House Caucus today about what they characterized as an imminent power-sharing agreement. In addition, it was indicated to members of our Caucus, myself included, that this information was already known and was public.

I suggested to Chairman Frederick that he get the word out, minus the details. Jeff did not post anything other than an unnamed D was looking at leaving their caucus and power sharing negotiations were underway.

There is no reason to believe that Delegate Frederick's posting on Twitter, which happened several hours into the day's activities in the Senate, affected the outcome. Perhaps, it was the visit by the wavering democrat with the Governor of the Democratic National Committee. Regardless it is clear that the partisan makeup of the Virginia Senate is tenuous. Horseshit!

Morgan, you and I both know that is a standard boilerplate non denial denial "...There is no reason to believe..." Please. Your comment here is just damage control.

According to the rules of logic this can be refuted by flipping it on its head. There is no reason not to believe this didn't cause Northam's flip to flop

But Morgan, ask yourself another question. Was there any reason at all - at all - to even post the speculation? Any? What purpose was served by that? This is just common sense.

Pray tell what purpose was served by grandstanding before a switch was announced as opposed to after?

Oh, and this is coming from a voting delegate of the Virginia Republican party. So I am not some disinterested 30-something guy in pajamas still living with his parents.

See you in Richmond in May.
