Fuck you. War.
Three days after a left-wing mob hounded Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen out of a D.C. Mexican restaurant, another group of far-left agitators has harassed her outside her Virginia townhouse.
Early Friday morning, according to the Washington Times, about two dozen protesters from the Soros-linked group CREDO Action held up signs outside the embattled DHS secretary’s home that read “child snatcher,” chanting “no justice, no sleep” and blaring an audio clip of crying immigrant children.
Anybody out there up for providing random shitlibs with a like experience: doxxing, SWATting, picketing their homes and workplaces, loud and angry protests at their children’s schools, trying to get them fired, et al?
If not, why not? Because it’s the only way this will ever stop, and it’s high time we all realized it and did something about it, before it escalates any further than it already has. Here’s why:
It seems, maybe, that President Donald Trump has abandoned his policy of separating children from their immigrant parents and warehousing them in detention facilities. But the conflict over the policy has been, among other things, starkly clarifying.
Catch that? TRUMP’S policy. Which has been in place since 2008. Established by Congressional legislation, supported by judicial fiat, enforced by every presidential administration along the way. Without a murmur of protest from the likes of this twit, Laura fucking Bush, Democrat Socialists, Leftymedia, or anybody else…other than the criminal aliens rightly subject to its mandate.
“I think we’re at the beginning of a soft civil war,” political scientist Thomas Schaller said in a telephone interview. “I don’t know if the country gets out of it whole.”
Perhaps it shouldn’t. Perhaps we shouldn’t even hope that it does.
The heightened conflict of recent weeks led to more ominous rhetoric — anyone else notice the abundance of Nazi references from sane people? — and more definitive, unequivocal acts. Former Republican strategist Steve Schmidt renounced his party of 29 years this week and pledged to vote for Democrats until decency returns to the GOP.
Law professor and blogger Orin Kerr, perhaps sensing the ugly turn in the air, tweeted: “Few things are more corrosive in politics than the conviction that you have been wronged so much that you’re justified in breaking all the rules to get even.”
For years, Republicans have led the way in breaking rules — from taking the national debt hostage to usurping a Supreme Court seat. In a 2016 poll, almost three-quarters of Trump supporters, a group marked by grievances, agreed that the country needed a leader who would “break some rules,” as did 57 percent of Republicans overall. Only 41 percent of Democrats agreed.
But Democrats can tire of rules, too.
Catch all that? Every word of it horseshit, every word of it FAR more rightly applicable to the Democrat Socialists than it ever has to Republicans. I mean, come ON: “Democrats can tire of rules too”? There’s no way in the world to logically argue with such patently arrant nonsense; it would be like to trying to make a sensible case that that fish do not in fact have wings and fly through the air. And this guy wouldn’t be listening if you tried anyway. I repeat: it’s trying to teach the pig to sing all over again.
And THAT is why it’s time to abandon further hopeless attempts at honest dialogue with them. As this horseshit article demonstrates, their whole position is founded on nothing but self-serving lies, shot through with vicious, contemptuous antipathy towards their country and everyone in it who holds a differing opinion. They aren’t seeking compromise, but conquest. They wish not to govern in accordance with the will of the governed, but to rule in defiance of it. They hope not to persuade, but to stampede—not to nudge, but to trample.
One of these things is not like the other. It’s Harry Potter versus Voldemort: neither can live while the other survives.
“Don’t know if the country gets out of it whole”? We no longer have a country, in any meaningful sense. What we have is a geographical area populated by two mutually incompatible belief systems, with absolutely nothing in common but hostility. To think of America as a nation nowadays is to cling to an ideal discarded long ago, like a grief-stricken relative grimly clutching the dead and rotting corpse of a once-beloved spouse or offspring—a corpse that no amount of desperation will reanimate.
If we want them to leave us alone, we’re going to have to make harrassing and tormenting us painful for them. That means showing them that we’ll no longer take their abuse lying down. It means, to quote their Lord, Savior, and inspiration, getting in their faces and punching back twice as hard. “Taking the high road,” “stooping to their level,” “that’s not who we are”—no bully was ever dissuaded by such mealymouthed evasion. But a shiner and a bloody nose works every time.
