New York rescinds Second Amendment

The time is nigh upon us, folks. For those in NY, it’s here.

The bill outlaws any magazine of more than seven rounds and there is not grandfathering, only a grace period; all magazines not sent out of state within a year become the basis for criminal charges. Presumably, this affects the eight-round en-bloc clip of the Garand as well, and certainly outlaws century-old Enfields with their 10-round magazines.

All “assault weapons”—and now almost everything is an assault weapon, as they’ve changed the definition of those as well—must be registered with the state. Buying ammunition will require a background check. Buying ammunition over the internet is now illegal.

New Yorkers have a choice. They can either comply to the demands of their would-be masters, quietly become criminals and hope they don’t get caught acting like free men, or they can fight this abject insanity.

As New York state has no constitutional protections, they must either appeal these laws to a federal judge and up the line to the United States Supreme court years from now, or resolve to take down this draconian law through subversive means.

Civil disobedience is a great start.

You’d be amazed how few transportation arteries their are into New York City, and how easy it would be to turn the city upside down with a few dozen vehicles suffering concurrent “mechanical problems” on bridges and in tunnels during the morning rush hour. This is just one off-the-cuff idea. There are thousands of things you can do to make this totalitarian state falter. Crush Albany’s wallet, and force them to repeal this ill-advised law.

If civil disobedience fails…

It’s your state, New Yorkers. Defend it.

The more I see of New York, the better I like Texas. Or, say, Idaho.

The Citadel is evolving as a planned community where residents are bound together by:

  • Patriotism
  • Pride in American Exceptionalism
  • Our proud history of Liberty as defined by our Founding Fathers, and
  • Physical preparedness to survive and prevail in the face of natural catastrophes — such as Hurricanes Sandy or Katrina — or man-made catastrophes such as a power grid failure or economic collapse.

The Citadel is not your typical planned community where the developer’s objective is selling cookie-cutter homes at the highest possible profit-margin.

The Citadel is not profit-driven. The Citadel is Liberty-driven: specifically Thomas Jefferson’s Rightful Liberty.

Marxists, Socialists, Liberals and Establishment Republicans will likely find that life in our community is incompatible with their existing ideology and preferred lifestyles.

DESCRIPTION: The Citadel Community will house between 3,500 and 7,000 patriotic American families who agree that being prepared for the emergencies of life and being proficient with the American icon of Liberty — the Rifle — are prudent measures. There will be no HOA. There will be no recycling police and no local ordinance enforcers from City Hall.

I gotta say, the place sounds absolutely fantastic.

  1. You might want to dig into that “Citadel” thing. I’ve heard some rumblings that it’s not on the level.

  2. Before flying off the handle over this well balanced law, please keep in mind that NY lawmakers, and Gov. Cuomo himself, fully support the right of the people to keep and bear arms. They are not confiscating your weapons, and in fact, these laws will help protect the Second Amendment.

Which crazy people like you would realize if you didn’t want to murder innocent children with the more than one million assault rifles that have been illegally brought into the state.

  3. They won’t be saying shit – especially while they gasp for breath and dangle from streetlamps after we have shot all of their minions to death in their homes late at night.

    Hypothetically.

  4. “…well balanced law…” What balance? Oh wait, you mean the balance between total confiscation and merely requiring people to pass their dad’s weapons onto the state for destruction. Yeah, that’s some mighty fine balancing ya got going on fuckwad.

I have no fear what so ever that A) it won’t do a fucking thing to reduce mass public shootings and B) as long as assdouches like you are drawing a breathe than further steps along the road to confiscation will seemed “well balanced” to you 3) you’ll be one of the first ones gone when TSHTF.

As for Idaho Mike, if you ever feel the need to get away and I mean GET AWAY, take 4 or 5 days and drop yourself into the Snake River Wilderness area-it is truly the most beautiful, remote and wildest area left in the lower 48-bring weapons too because you’re fair game.
