{"id":4995,"date":"2021-10-26T19:53:32","date_gmt":"2021-10-26T23:53:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/coldfury.com\/?p=4995"},"modified":"2021-10-26T19:53:35","modified_gmt":"2021-10-26T23:53:35","slug":"spadespade-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/coldfury.com\/wp\/spadespade-4\/","title":{"rendered":"Spade=spade"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A small but significant, and unexpected, break <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/10\/26\/kyle-rittenhouse-judge-says-men-he-shot-can-be-called-rioters-and-looters\/?utm_source=NYPTwitter&amp;utm_medium=SocialFlow&amp;utm_campaign=SocialFlow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Will it be enough?\" rel=\"noopener\">for Kyle Rittenhouse<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Kyle Rittenhouse\u2019s legal team can brand the men shot by the teen in Kenosha, Wis., as \u201crioters\u201d and \u201clooters\u201d when his\u00a0murder trial starts next week\u00a0\u2014 but prosecutors can\u2019t call them \u201cvictims,\u201d the judge has ruled.<\/p>\n<p>In a pre-trial hearing Monday, Wisconsin Circuit Judge Bruce Schroeder overturned a motion to bar the teen\u2019s attorneys from using such terms while trying to prove his triple shooting in August last year was\u00a0justified self-defense.<\/p>\n<p>If prosecutors can try to portray Rittenhouse as \u201ca cold-blooded killer,\u201d then his defense should be free to \u201ccall someone a rioter,\u201d the judge said,\u00a0according to a Kenosha News court report.<\/p>\n<p>Still, he cautioned the defense team against using pejorative terms during opening statements, saying they should be reserved for closing arguments \u2014 and only if they can produce evidence justifying the terms.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Oh, I dunno about all <em>that<\/em>, now. Seems to me there&#8217;s an abundance of evidence justifying &#8217;em&mdash;seeing as how the filthy scumballs made a serious, credible attempt to murder the kid in cold blood and all. Then again though, I&#8217;m a reasonable, sane White Debbil&#8482; who has refused all along to buy into this upside-down, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Through_the_Looking-Glass\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Right is left, bad is good, black is white\" rel=\"noopener\">Through The Looking Glass<\/a> anti-reality the gibbering-mad Left has foisted on us.
