Taking matters into their own hands at the ol’ ball game.

What a beautiful moment, when those players scampered back out of the home-side dugout (I’m assuming; that’s the usual arrangement, but not necessarily everywhere) to line up along the first base-line again. One has to wonder, though, what the hell the visiting team was waiting for.

What Trump is, what D卐M☭CRATs are

TL calls ‘em as we all sees ‘em.

I, along with most of the readers of this blog, might have always known this about the communists in government, might have seen the corruption in the Department of Justice as far back as Ruby Ridge, even further, back to what they called the Prairie Rebellion of the 1970s or the events surrounding the American Indian Movement (AIM). When a government is corrupt, it can take decades to bring that level of understanding to the otherwise unaffected general public. But once you have that watershed moment, that change in understanding, it becomes the new world that will take decades upon decades to reverse.

The Democrats/communists don’t realize how much they’ve given up. They are no longer the party of the people, they’re the party of the freaks, of the BLM and Antifa goons, the party of FBI raids on grandmothers. They’re the party of political, police-state tactics.

The hush money trial turned Trump into a Mandela-like figure and only going to jail will further that image, while, at the same time, they’ve turned Biden into a Stalin-like character, jailing his political opponents. But they’ve done much worse for the image of the United States, that has now lost the moral authority to criticize China, Russia or North Korea. They’ve joined the tribe of the oppressive regimes and made the only way to reverse the trend voting for Trump. Trump won’t imprison his political opponents, because he’s not a communist and doesn’t have to force some ideology down the throats of the majority. He is the majority. What he will have to do, though, is dismantle the DOJ and the FBI, because they’re the facilitators of this fall from grace, they’re the feces on the face of the Statue of Liberty.

Alex Soros, George’s son, said that spreading the “convicted felon” label anywhere and everywhere was the key to winning the election and I hope they do it. Every time I hear them use that moniker, I think to myself: only because of dirty cops, corrupt judges and bought off District Attorneys. That’s who the Democrats are, corrupt, nasty, little communists. The duty of every anti-communists is to point it out, don’t let this watershed moment pass without an uproar.

Some of us out here are doing all we can to see to that, TL. In fact, speaking for myself, being old and crippled, that’s about the only contribution left for me to make, alas. But I damned sure intend to keep on making it, for as long as I possibly can.

Update! Glenn reels off a quip in his signature style.

INSURRECTION: Anti-Israel protesters burn UC Berkeley police vehicle with ‘incendiary device’ in ‘retaliation’ for arrests. Have you noticed that MAGA people don’t “retaliate” for arrests?

There was a time when that would have been considered a virtue, and rightly so—a marker of reasoned restraint, maturity, and politesse. Now, though, I can’t help but wonder if it hasn’t become something of a vice, a strategic weakness in actual fact, one which stands to be our ultimate undoing.

Are we not entertained?

Trump beards the Libertarian lion in his den, hilarity ensues. Gotta give the man full props, he’s one feisty, pugnacious sumbitch.

Trump Was Booed Relentlessly at the LNC, Here’s Why That’s a Good Thing for Him
Donald Trump had a “We’re no longer in Kansas” moment on Saturday night. The former president attended the Libertarian National Convention in a bid to convince that small segment of American voters that he was their best bet in November, and let’s just say the crowd wasn’t exactly friendly.

From beginning to end, Trump was booed relentlessly during his speech, though he had a few applause lines, specifically surrounding a prospective pardon of Ross Ulbricht. Overall, though, the scene was chaotic despite the best efforts of Trump supporters like Mike Lee to calm things down.

Here’s a bit of what it sounded like, and in a twist that may surprise some people, I’m going to explain why this was a good thing for Trump.

There are two ways to respond to this if you’re a supporter of Donald Trump. One is to take the approach Monica Crowley did, which is to just outright mislead people about what happened.

One night President Trump has the Bronx cheering for him.

The next night he has the Libertarians going wild for him.

He’s expanding MAGA in unbelievable ways.

Absolute legend.

Okay, I have to say, that’s just pathetic right there. Downright despicable, even. Onwards.

The other approach is to tell the truth because the truth is much cooler than the North Korean-style “Everyone loved him” claims. Let me explain.

Yes, Trump was booed over and over, but so what? I would posit most people prefer a candidate who is willing to go into a hostile environment, speak to those who disagree with him, and keep his composure in the process. During the first clip above, as the crowd showed its disapproval, Trump cracked a smile and kept hitting his points. That’s the best way to handle a situation like that.

Compare that to Joe Biden, who often gets flustered and lashes out in the face of hecklers, telling them “not to jump” or challenging audience members to push-up contests. It’s weird and unappealing, and it’s a product of the president having skin so thin that it’s translucent.

Agreed, right down the line. Judging from Trump having acquitted himself with such aplomb and good humor, as well as Libertarian national committee chair Angela McCardle having done likewise as evidenced below, I’d say the only one who came out of the whole brouhaha looking like a total chump was…guess who.

Both Joe Biden and Trump were invited, but it was Trump who accepted, in a historic move.

“For the first time ever, a former president addressed the Libertarian Party. It was a rowdy crowd but we’re grateful for Pres. Trump’s time, and excited to make history,” said Libertarian national committee chair Angela McArdle after the speech in a statement.

One wonders if a president would do that again, given the mixed and rowdy nature of the reception.

But perhaps the best capper for the event was the reaction from McArdle after the Biden-Harris HQ account — which is the campaign’s official rapid response account — tried to mock Trump and the reception he got. McArdle just leveled them.

And Ms McCardle did that little thing, too.

So how does one deal effectively with a slippery, slimery sleaze-orrhoid PropPol like Pedaux Jaux, then? Well, you don’t take one single, solitary ounce worth of shit off his senile, basement-dwelling ass, for starters. He opens his yap, you slap it the fuck SHUT—no delay, no fuss, no muss, no mercy, each and every time, without fail. Here endeth the lesson.

The case for Trump

Diplomad makes it, short and sweet.

I am voting for Trump, as I did twice before, for the simple reason that Trump understands America and its people in a way that no other president or candidate has in my lifetime.

He understands the corruption in the media, judicial system, and bureaucracy, and is suffering personal harm because of it. He understands that we cannot continue to hollow out our industrial base, and hope to remain a world power and a source of creativity and prosperity. We have to make things, such as cars, medicines, and the other billion widgets that come out of a genuinely industrial country, not just buy them from China and Vietnam. He understands that our once world-beating colleges and universities are now steaming heaps of woke ideological garbage, producing millions of self-entitled, credentialed morons, who want you to pay for their “education,” and couldn’t change a tire if their lives depended on it. He understands what insane environmental policies and the open border mean to our independence, safety, national culture and cohesiveness.

I hear a lot of blather about how crude and divisive Trump is; that’s nonsense. Obama, Clinton, and Biden not only attack Trump but attack his supporters: “Cling to guns and rifles,” “Deplorables,” “Cultists and insurrectionists,” “White supremacists,” etc. Trump doesn’t do that.

He asks us all, regardless of race or religion, to make America great again, in other words to live up to our lofty aspirations.

That’s about the size of it, yeah. Nothing we didn’t already know, natch, and not that I think he has a hope in hell of being allowed to win anyway. But it can never hurt to run through it again just the same.

Perfection vs good enough

Re: this comment, from Barry, attached to last night’s “Bee speech” post:

For every knock on Musk I read there is this, and it covers every bit of any uncertainty.

And also this followup comment, from SteveF:

I’m not interested in purity tests. “Is he better than the realistic alternatives?” “Is he the best available now?” By this standard, both Musk and Trump win by a landslide.

I hereby submit this, for your consideration and delectation:

Musk Lifts Restrictions on X Accounts in Brazil in Challenge to Courts
(Bloomberg) — Billionaire Elon Musk said he will lift restrictions imposed on some X accounts in Brazil, even if the move leads to the closing of the social media platform in the country.

X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, said in a post late Saturday that court decisions “forced” the site to block “certain popular accounts” in Brazil, without specifying the reasons or which posts allegedly violated the law. Shortly after, Musk wrote on the platform that he was defying the court’s ruling.

“We are lifting all restrictions. This judge has applied massive fines, threatened to arrest our employees and cut off access to X in Brazil,” Musk said in a social media post. He added that the move would probably cause X to lose all its revenue in the country and shut its office there.

While neither X nor Musk identified the judge that issued the ruling, the site’s billionaire owner was responding to another post that accused Brazil’s Supreme Court head Alexandre de Moraes of cracking down on free speech. Moraes didn’t reply to requests for comment late Saturday.

The spat comes as courts widen a fight against so-called fake news and hate speech online. In a recent decision, the country’s Superior Electoral Court approved a resolution requiring social media networks to limit the spread of fake news during elections.

Musk can think of himself as a liberal all he likes, but as far as I’m concerned he’s making all the right enemies. And the enemy of my enemy will always be my friend.

As for Brazil, I have a sneaking suspicion that it won’t be too much longer before Brazilians come to deeply rue dumping Bolsonaro for the Brazilian socialist Flavor Of The Month. Was Bolsonaro perfect? No, of course he wasn’t; nobody is. But when we let the perfect be the enemy of the good—or the good enough—we play a mug’s game, and can never profit by it.

“Scottish endarkenment”

Steyn on the latest round of the ongoing JK Rowling “transgender” dust-up.

Yesterday was another dark day for the west’s fast-fading freedom of speech. Scotland’s new “Hate Crime” law came into effect, formalising (among other things) my perennial gag that in the UK (or at least this miserable corner of it) everything is policed except crime: The wanker coppers will now be spending ever more of their worthless days sitting around monitoring your Twitter account. Oh, don’t worry, Scotland’s “First Minister” and the plods themselves have been at pains to assure you that they’re going to keep a sense of proportion about their new thought-crime powers. That’s why their “training exercise” for the new law was a lady Tweeter called “Jo” who wants to send all transpersons to the gas chambers.

The Jo in question took it in her stride:

‘Arrest me!’: JK Rowling challenges Scotland’s new hate crime laws

There followed on her Twitter feed a witheringly sarcastic roll call of the various bepenised women (see picture at top right) whose pathologies the decadent end-stage Scottish state has indulged.

Hers was the only sane Scots reaction I read yesterday, certainly from any public figure. Everyone else seems to have figured that cis-discretion is the better part of valour.

Her splendid isolation will surely have been noticed by that totalitarian constabulary. Maybe they will arrest her. As I said in After America some years ago, what matters are the habits of liberty. Once a people lose those, there are no easy ways back.

Written before Scots officialdom’s piteous no mas, obviously, but the essential point regarding “the habits of liberty” remains valid. Steyn follows the above rip with more which may not at first blush seem related at all, but in the long run most certainly is.

Rowling 1, PC Scotland 0

Chalk up a win for Team Reality.

Technically, Rowling should have been hauled off in chains. Instead, Scotland backed down:

If JK Rowling’s posts calling out biological men—and “abusing” and “insulting” them— aren’t actionable, then nothing can be actionable in that regard. Nor does it help the transgender cause that the only person with more demands for arrest under the law than JK Rowling is Humza Yousaf, Scotland’s First Minister (although his are anti-white, race-based complaints).

It’s great to see Rowling win this battle, but it’s only one battle in a nation that has no First Amendment enshrining free speech. And here’s the kicker: If you think it can’t happen here, it can. After all, the entire Democrat establishment is prosecuting Trump for complaining about an election outcome and urging people to go to Congress to make their voices “peacefully” heard, two essential elements of core free speech because they’re both political.

Trump’s not the only one being persecuted. Jurisdictions all over America pass laws and regulations exposing conservatives to prosecution or civil actions for wrong think and wrong speech. And do I even need to get started on Big Tech’s censorious activities, even though they have effectively become the public square in America?

Looking at America’s creeping censorship, do you see any American billionaires other than Trump having Rowling’s courage when it comes to Truth?

To ask the question is to answer it, I’m afraid. Widberg closes with another Tweet, wherein Matt Walsh tells it like it is in one short sentence: “Scotland Makes It Illegal To Hurt A Trans Person’s Feelings.” That’s about the size of it, yeah.

Unfortunately, anybody who imagines this will be the end of it, that the Wokester SS will now contritely accept defeat, pack up their kit, and slink off home to sulk and weep the pain away in ruminative solitude had damned well better think again. Scotland’s Hate Crimes law is still in effect, and there are still great numbers of reality-based Poors out there in need of having their doors kicked in and their skulls clubbed into red, gooey mush by swarming SWAT squaddies. Count on it: The Enemy will be back, more wrathful than ever and way sooner than you probably expect, to seek vengeance against sane, non-celebrity Scots with an assist from Offissa Pupp & His Many Pals.

Even so, a win is a win, and even the most modest, fleeting victory over the foes of decency, truth, and simple objective reality is cause aplenty for celebration. Dancing in the streets, pointing and laughing, and singing “Nyah, nyah, nyah nyah-nyah” in merry mockery of the dejected lunatics all remain strictly optional, of course, but are nevertheless highly encouraged.

ANOTHER idea whose time has come

Ain’t gonna matter in the end, really, but I like it just the same. I like it a LOT.

Vice President J.D. Vance
Vance is young, well-spoken, and willing and eager to criticize the many mistakes of his decadent predecessors.

Donald Trump has locked up the necessary delegates for the Republican presidential nomination, which means it’s time for every political junkie’s favorite quadrennial game: Veepstakes!

Every four years, commentators, political consultants, and elected officials all chime in with their takes on who a presidential candidate’s running mate should be. Perhaps the candidate ought to select a veep from a swing state. Perhaps the candidate ought to select someone who fits a certain demographic box. Maybe the candidate ought to pick someone with a very similar political philosophy—or perhaps someone whose ideological bona fides assuage any lingering concerns that party loyalists might harbor about the man at the top of the ticket. Or maybe it’s really as easy as picking someone who the presidential nominee simply likes and vibes with on a personal level.

There is no shortage of factors to consider. In 2024, the conversation really only pertains to former (and perhaps future) President Donald Trump; Democrats and their doddering Delawarean dolt at the top of the ticket, President Joe Biden, are stuck with cackler-in-chief Kamala Harris. Democrats are hemorrhaging minority voter support at breakneck pace, and they cannot afford to risk a greater exodus of Black voters by unceremoniously dumping a Black woman from their ticket.

Ultimately, the vice presidential pick should be selected by paying some consideration to the above factors, but above all, it is imperative to assess the contenders a little less robotically. We’re talking about human beings, after all. As dumbed down as it may seem, it is actually crucial to select someone who has the right “vibe”—or, to put it a little more technically, best captures the prevailing zeitgeist.

All of that is why Trump should select as his running mate the precocious freshman U.S. senator from Ohio, J.D. Vance.

I’m down with that; I like JD and think he’d be an excellent choice for VP, no matter who’s at the top of the ticket. Nonetheless, I repeat: won’t matter in the end. The Deep State will install whoever suits them as figurehead “pResident,” by hook or by crook, and that’s flat.

Or is it just possible I could be all wet here? Kevin Dolan says I might very well be.

They’re Going To Let Trump Win
We’re all bracing for craziness during the 2024 election. Nobody’s quite ready to give it a shape or a name to their expectations, but we have all agreed it will be “crazy”.

So let’s nail it down. Are you expecting a civil war? A “color revolution”? Another steal?

I suspect the reason we are all gesturing vaguely at “things getting spicy” is that none of the concrete theories for exactly how it will get spicy make much sense.

We’re just absolutely sure that he’s going to win the election fair-and-square, but “they’re not going to let him win”, so it must inevitably get “spicy” and “froggy” and “kinetic”, somehow.

But I actually think they’ll probably just let him win.

The 2020 election is another domain of folk political science where our guys are simply unwilling to admit any limitations whatsoever on the enemy’s power.

Most of the sane takes on the 2020 election don’t imply total control of the voting system. The election was “stolen” in the following ways:

  • Changing rules governing mail-in ballots and expansion of deadlines made fraud harder to prove
  • Democrat campaign workers went through nursing homes and housing projects gathering ballots and illegally filling them out for Biden
  • News outlets and social media companies colluded with US intelligence services to suppress damaging stories about the Bidens and fabricate accusations against Trump

Many of you point to the brazenness of the intervention in 2020, and the stupidity of the justifications for it, as evidence of a kind of supreme Nietzschean self-confidence among our enemies.

I see the opposite…

If they could just add a zero to Biden’s vote count on the Dominion machine, all this scrambling and wriggling and lying would be unnecessary. They are showing you that their power has limits. There is a “margin of fraud”.

All of this talk about preparing for political violence and race riots is another case of conservatives gearing up to fight the last war. The enemy is good at creating chaos, but that won’t help them — their guy is in charge.

So they probably can’t beat Trump, and it doesn’t seem like they have the juice to try that hard.

The smart thing to do — which also happens to be the easiest thing for a massive faceless managerial state to do — is nothing.

Let Trump back in, and fight him on home turf — in the maze of the executive bureaucracy. Some of his backers have announced their intention to become politically competent in the event that he wins — but compared to the alternatives, that’s a very manageable risk.

More importantly: let Trump hold the bag for the all-but-guaranteed economic calamity of the next four years. The regime could skate for another decade if they succeed in pinning the collapse on a dangerous, erratic right-wing upstart.

Without necessarily agreeing in toto with the author’s conclusion, I will say the ideas presented here are damned intriguing, and certainly worth pondering. That said, I’m still stuck on Cynical, pretty much. Anybody the Überstadt deigns to allow into office as “pResident” will assuredly not be somebody you’d really want there—even if it’s Trump. Should Teh Donald somehow pull off a win in November against all odds, then to my mind that’s an indication of Swamp Critter (over?)confidence in being able to neuter, hogtie, and/or thwart him to their satisfaction.

Contra Dolan, I DO still interpret their actions as more indicative of confidence than of concern, although I will also freely admit that there’s no real reason why The Enemy couldn’t be in the grip of both at once. They aren’t mutually exclusive; in fact, more often than not confidence and fear are inextricably intertwined in the megalomaniacal mind, each driving the other to ever-greater heights of arrogance and paranoia. George III pops into mind right off as an example here, but there’s no shortage of others.

Which does NOT indicate that I’m convinced of TPTB’s invulnerability; their omnipotence; their unchallengable, everlasting hold on FederalGovCo power, forever and ever amen. Not a-tall. What I AM convinced of is that Real Americans will never dislodge Mordor On The Potomac’s multitudinous Grey Men without having to do so bodily, forcibly.

Which, in turn, is NOT cause for a mass throwing up of Real American hands in a paroxysm of despair, mind. There remain any number of methods by which federal overreach can and should be circumvented, defied, and undermined, if only for a comparatively brief while—methods both subtle and not-so-subtle, direct and indirect, bold and quietly humble. This is where state and local elections come in to show their ongoing importance and usefulness, although they’re only one among many others.

“Interesting times”? Oh, you betcher.

Houston, we have a problem

When Xtianist military personnel realize the government is in fact their enemy, it’s a BIIIG problem. Not sure appealing to an agency of the selfsame enemy government will suffice to remedy said problem, though.

38 Chaplains Ask Supreme Court To Stop U.S. Military From Punishing Their Faith
Like many medications, Covid-19 vaccines and therapeutics were tested on cells made from HEK 293’s kidney. Some of the vaccines have HEK 293 cells inside them. That’s one of several reasons Capt. Rob Nelson, an Air Force chaplain, couldn’t in good conscience accept those treatments despite massive pressure from the military, he told The Federalist in a phone interview.

“I have five [children], and it breaks my heart to think of this. This girl continues to be violated as her cells are replicated over and over again,” he said.

Nelson is one of 38 military chaplains whose petition is now before U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts in the case Alvarado v. Austin. The chaplains say the Department of Defense continues to defy the 2023 National Defense Authorization Act rescinding its Covid vaccine mandate, which the petition says has allowed statistically zero exceptions.

The DOD continues to violate the law by failing to rescind its punishments of conscientious objectors such as denied training and deployments required for promotions, the petition says. In addition, of course, denying soldiers’ religious exercise violates the First Amendment’s guarantee that all Americans can freely exercise their faith in their everyday lives.

That is precisely why the military has chaplains, several told The Federalist. All soldiers, their families, and civilians working for the U.S. military “have a right to believe what they believe and no one can say otherwise. It’s the same reason we can’t have a religious test for federal positions. As a chaplain, my job is to make sure the free exercise of religion is allowed, that nobody infringes upon that inalienable right,” said Army Col. Brad Lewis, a chaplain also party to the suit.

Chaplains usually help determine whether soldiers receive religious accommodations for all sorts of things, from Norse pagans wearing beards to Sikhs wearing turbans and Jews eating kosher. While the military routinely approves such waivers, it told Congress it had denied essentially all religious vaccine waiver requests from soldiers who weren’t almost retired, say the plaintiffs.

“I got in with an age waiver,” Nelson noted of his military service. “They can supposedly give wavers for all kinds of things but not a religious accommodation.”

In its Supreme Court response filed March 27, the DOD claims it has removed all punishments from soldiers imposed “solely” for conscientious objections to vaccines. It claims removing career penalties that arise from banning conscientious objectors from career-promoting training and duties has no “lawful basis.” The DOD also says that because the vaccination requirement has ended, the case is moot.

“By denying religious exemptions, what the military has done is set about the removal of people who are willing to stand on conviction,” Lewis said. He and Nelson noted this dynamic is especially dangerous if cultivated among soldiers, whose job is to kill.

Much, much more at the link, of which you’ll want to read the all.

Market reality takes command

As a WaPo headline cheekily put it many years ago: they’re the car of the future…and they always will be.

‘EV Euphoria Is Dead’: CNBC Declares Transition to Electric Vehicles Has Failed
CNBC has admitted that the attempted transition from gas-powered to electric vehicles (EVs) has failed.

The business-focused news channel explained in a piece on Wednesday that “EV euphoria is dead” and that the largest automakers are drastically scaling back their plans.

The piece read:

For years, the automotive industry has been in a state of EV euphoria. Automakers trotted out optimistic sales forecasts for electric models and announced ambitious targets for EV growth. Wall Street boosted valuations for legacy automakers and startup entrants alike, based in part on their visions for an EV future.

Now the hype is dwindling, and companies are again cheering consumer choice. Automakers from Ford Motor and General Motors to Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Jaguar Land Rover and Aston Martin are scaling back or delaying their electric vehicle plans. Even U.S. EV leader Tesla, which is estimated to have accounted for 55% of EV sales in the country in 2023, is bracing for what “may be a notably lower” rate of growth, CEO Elon Musk said in late January.

The report goes on to outline some of the principal reasons why the market is struggling and concedes that the Biden administration overestimated the willingness of consumers to make the switch from traditional gas-powered vehicles:

After significant interest from early EV adopters — bolstered by low interest rates and Tesla’s rise — interest rates skyrocketed, raw materials costs surged and the vehicles became much more expensive compared with their traditional counterparts.

It’s also become clear that the automotive industry and the Biden administration, which set its own target for half of new U.S. vehicle sales to be electric by 2030, overestimated the willingness of consumers to adopt a new technology without a reliable and prevalent charging infrastructure.

Such an article points to the growing resignation among progressives and advocates of electric vehicles that their proposals do not make economic sense.

So? When have they ever? But the attempt to jam CPVs (Coal Powered Vehicles) down our throats was never about “economic sense” anyway, nor was it really about Saving Mommy Gaia©. This latest farcical iteration of the regularly-recurring flirtation with the electric-car fantasy was only ever about one thing, and one thing alone: power, and control. This was nothing more nor less than the Überstadt flexing its muscles, determined to show its lowly Serf Class who was boss—a show of force by Leviathan intended to establish once and for all who wields ultimate power around here, and who must accede to whom.

Happily, after a piss-poor Scamdemic showing, a large number of Normal Americans finally responded with a bland shrug and a yawn once the initial curiosity-generating hype had subsided—enough of them to elbow the horrendously expensive, unreliable, and dangerous ‘Splodeycar play-purties out of mass-market consideration and back into the garage, lowering and locking the door, then turning out the lights behind them to re-embrace the time-tested and proven, superior, and far more practical ICE technology they had come to rely on for convenient, dependable transportation.

Until next time the EV will o’ the wisp is trotted out to be foisted upon them by too-big, too-powerful government, that is—which, it’s a lead-pipe cinch that there’s gonna be one. Count on it, friends: as the Terminator vowed, they’ll be back. Like Leftards themselves, they’ll never really go away, not for very long.

Rona Gone – Failed at her one job: STOP TRUMP

“Trump is the weapon to destroy the long-created Republican ‘illusion of choice’.”

Accurate. It is what we said in 2015 when it became clear who Trump really was. He became “our” weapon, the weapon to destroy the anti-American marxist control of the government.

No one with an understanding of the depth of the problem would underestimate the difficulty in fighting the entire government including the republican party, or the time this would take. It would be a multi-year effort.

That same marxist cabal released a virus to destroy the American economy because Americans were waking up to the reality – that it’s not that difficult to create the conditions for economic prosperity in the USA, Trump was doing it in spite of the entrenched government cabal of crooks. That had to be stopped before the economy really took off with 6+% growth, growth that produces wealth across the board, growth that allows for growing the economy out of the economic problems so carefully planned and implemented by the foes of liberty and freedom.

1st, kill the economy. Economic conditions create winning and losing elections. 2nd, steal the election in case it’s not enough. Lock downs = mail in ballots. Mail in ballots = massive fraud.

It worked in the short term. But there is a long game, and it ain’t over.

Rona McDaniel wasn’t “fired” by MAGA like people think. Rona was fired by the RNC money men because she failed at her one and only jobSTOP TRUMP.

Q: Is Mark Robinson the last REAL Republican left?

A: Yes. Yes, he is. So naturally, NC’s Vichy GOPe swine are working just as hard as they can to take him down.

North Carolina Republicans Attack Republican Lt. Governor For Defending Women’s Bathrooms
Mark Robinson passed stage one of the transgender insanity litmus test with flying colors. His governor primary competitors did not.

For vowing to defend women in North Carolina from men who infiltrate female-designated spaces, something a majority of voters support, North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson was criticized by two Republican gubernatorial candidates in his state. Robinson is also campaigning for governor.

Robinson told attendees at a campaign event in the beginning of February that he is committed to keeping men out of women’s sports and bathrooms.

“We’ve already passed a law,” Robinson said, alluding to the Republican General Assembly’s overrides of several vetoes in 2023, “and if we need to pass another one, we will. We’re going to defend women’s sports in this state, period.”

The 55-year-old Republican said his commitment to “defend women in this state” extends to protecting their bathrooms from anyone of the opposite sex who tries to use them.

“That means if you’re a man on Friday night and all of the sudden on Saturday, you feel like a woman and you want to go in the women’s bathroom in the mall, you will be arrested — or whatever we got to do to you,” Robinson said. His pledge was met with a round of cheers.

That same day, at a rally in Greenville, Robinson repeated his belief that men should not be using women’s restrooms.

“If you are confused, find a corner outside somewhere to go,” Robinson quipped. “We’re not tearing society down because of this.”

Robinson’s opposition to the male takeover of protected female spaces like locker rooms and bathrooms resonates with most Americans. Yet it earned him the ire of two Republican candidates for governor in his state.

With the help of NBC News, which was happy to amplify complaints against the lieutenant governor, North Carolina gubernatorial candidates state Treasurer Dale Folwell and attorney Bill Graham accused Robinson of hampering the GOP’s chances. Robinson is leading both in the primary, according to polling in the race.

“Mark Robinson is history’s latest example of someone rising to power through hate,” Folwell told NBC. “If he really cared about NC or the Republican Party, he would resign now.”

And if RINO scum like yourself really cared about conservatism or the specific political stances most Republicans have traditionally assumed their party to be all about—correctly or incorrectly—and would much prefer to see it advocate and (hopefully) advance, YOU would, asswipe.

Bottom line: Mark Robinson is way, WAY more of a “Real Republican” than Folwell, Graham, and their sorry Decepticon ilk will ever be.

Yet ANOTHER happy birthday!

This one to the Pipeline website.

Four years ago, we launched this website in the interests of confronting the consistent misrepresentations of the energy industry by a small but powerful coterie of anti-civilizational cultural Marxists. They go by many anodyne names, most notably “environmentalists,” but as their behavior since the first “Earth Day” on April 22, 1970 — Lenin’s birthday, by sheer happenstance! — has demonstrated, their real purpose is not “saving the planet” but instituting a global rollback of Western civilization, its attainments, and its creature comforts. Worming their way into government, charities, and private enterprise, and by dint of repeated media pounding, they have managed to upend our traditional notions of society in the service of their neo-Communist ideals.

The hell with them, we say.

Earth Day was the useful-idiot brainchild of Sen. Gaylord Nelson of Wisconsin, who proclaimed it in order to force environmentalism onto official Washington’s desk. President Nixon dutifully followed along, creating the Environmental Protection Agency later that year. Its early supporters were acting under the influence of a notorious crank, Rachel Carson, whose wholly unwarranted campaign against DDT has condemned millions to death. Among them was the malevolent Ira Einhorn, one of the participants at the first Earth Day celebration in Philadelphia who later murdered and composted his girlfriend, Holly Maddux — an early adopter of recycling:

It wasn’t until 18 months later that investigators searched Einhorn’s apartment after one of his neighbors complained that a reddish-brown, foul-smelling liquid was leaking from the ceiling directly below Einhorn’s bedroom closet. Inside the closet, police found Maddux’s beaten and partially mummified body stuffed into a trunk that had also been packed with Styrofoam, air fresheners and newspapers. Although Einhorn was only the master of ceremonies at the first Earth Day event, he maintains that Earth Day was his idea and that he’s responsible for launching it. Understandably, Earth Day’s organizers have distanced themselves from his name…

In other words, “environmentalism” was from the start a marginal movement of purists, predators, and psychopaths. In the fifty-plus years since they unleashed their crackpot campaign to “save the earth” (as if puny mortals had to the power to do so), they might have succeeded in clearing the skies above Los Angeles and partially detoxifying the Hudson River — their two principal cities — but at what cost? The slightest puff of smoke from a chimney (not to mention a cigarette) throws them into paroxysms of fear and rage, a herd of cows gives them conniption fits, and even the thought of your exhaling drives some of them mad, even though the CO2 we breathe out adds net-zero to the ecosphere. They are in fact triggered by any sign of life or human activity, and the net-zero carbon future they so devoutly pray to the winged hermaphrodite Baphomet for would in practice mean that we’re all dead.

In short, extreme “environmentalism” is an instigated, de facto suicide cult. Indeed, it’s not really “environmentalism” at all, but a neo-totalitarian nihilist movement that deals with opposition in the same way all Leftist movements do: by banning it, outlawing it, demonizing it, proscribing it, destroying it. Like Dracula suddenly confronted with a crucifix, Leftists froth and foam at the slightest challenge to their claim to be on “the right side of history,” as if history had a side, and they promote “climate alarmism” with the zeal of an End Times evangelist.

So let me blunt: there is no “climate catastrophe,” full stop.

From this beginning, we have gradually expanded our purview to include the Covid Hoax, all its attendant loss of freedom, and the naked fist of the Permanent Bipartisan Fusion Party state slamming into the body politic. This astounding bit of medical effrontery — essentially, replacing the seasonal flu with a one-year-only junior version of the Black Death — brought forth the foolish and dangerous vaccines, untested lab experiments on people all over the world, that have since killed untold numbers via their deadly side effects.

However many lives they “saved,” it wasn’t worth it.

Much more at the link, of which you should read the all. Congrats to you, Mike, and to all your fellow contributors, editors, go-fers, flunkies, and sundry hangers-on. Y’all do good work.

Speaking strictly for myself, I am no more likely to “celebrate” Earth Day than I am to observe…oh, whaddyacallit, the day we’re all supposed to Save Gaia© by turning off all the lights for a couple of hours that night? Yeah, that one, whatever it is. In fact, I usually turn on every light in the damned house instead, right down to opening the oven, microwave, and laundry-dryer doors for the prescribed period so as to get their interior bulbs alight also.

Because FUCK you, that’s why.

NOTE: In order to comment, you must be registered and approved as a CF user. Since so many user-registrations are attempted by spam-bots for their own nefarious purposes, YOUR REGISTRATION MAY BE ERRONEOUSLY DENIED.

If you are in fact a legit hooman bean desirous of registering yourself a CF user name so as to be able to comment only to find yourself caught up as collateral damage in one of my irregularly (un)scheduled sweeps for hinky registration attempts, please shoot me a kite at the email addy over in the right sidebar and let me know so’s I can get ya fixed up manually.

ALSO NOTE: You MUST use a valid, legit email address in order to successfully register, the new anti-spam software I installed last night requires it. My thanks to Barry for all his help sorting this mess out last night.

Comments appear entirely at the whim of the guy who pays the bills for this site and may be deleted, ridiculed, maliciously edited for purposes of mockery, or otherwise pissed over as he in his capricious fancy sees fit. The CF comments section is pretty free-form and rough and tumble; tolerance level for rowdiness and misbehavior is fairly high here, but is NOT without limit.

Management is under no obligation whatever to allow the comments section to be taken over and ruined by trolls, Leftists, and/or other oxygen thieves, and will take any measures deemed necessary to prevent such. Conduct yourself with the merest modicum of decorum, courtesy, and respect and you'll be fine. Pick pointless squabbles with other commenters, fling provocative personal insults, issue threats, or annoy the host (me) and...you won't.

Should you find yourself sanctioned after running afoul of the CF comments policy as stated and feel you have been wronged, please download and complete the Butthurt Report form below in quadruplicate; retain one copy for your personal records and send the others to the email address posted in the right sidebar.

Please refrain from whining, sniveling, and/or bursting into tears and waving your chubby fists around in frustrated rage, lest you suffer an aneurysm or stroke unnecessarily. Your completed form will be reviewed and your complaint addressed whenever management feels like getting around to it. Thank you.
