Daddy, tell me the story again about how we can live peaceably with these “people.” That one’s my favorite.

If you are under 40, you grew up in a world in which a Republican being President was deemed per se illegitimate. You grew up in a world where what those illegitimate Presidents did was per se illegitimate. It is the air you breathed and the water you drank. This is what you know.

This is simply the truth. Bush was installed by the Supreme Court and then did *handwave* something wrong to be re-elected, after all, he shouldn’t have been President in the first place. Republicans play a game with the Electoral College, which is anti-democratic, to win.

Every Republican President is wrong and everything they do is wrong, and Trump let Russians change votes to make him President so what he did was extra super wrong. Since everything they did is wrong, then every action they took is wrong and SCOTUS is illegitimate. It’s logic.

It is irrelevant whether this is true. It is what two generations of people have been told. People believe this because why would those people who are the experts in politics say this if it wasn’t true? That’s what they are paid to do, that’s what they know, they wouldn’t lie.

I comprehend the urge to eyeroll when the wailing starts about how SCOTUS is illegitimate because the justices were appointed by Presidents who did not win the popular vote and thus are illegitimate. It is eyeroll worthy. However. Enormous numbers of people who vote believe this.

Many a pixel has been slain, and that’s just by me, decrying the total lack of knowledge of how the American electoral system works. Many more have been slain noting how destructive this is to public discourse. I am here to tell you that it will only get worse.

Another part of my internet life is very Left indeed. I keep my mouth shut over there because that’s where I go to try to escape politics. I am here to tell you that the Kids These Days do not understand what Dobbs did. They believe, utterly, that abortion was just banned.

They believe that Republicans are an existential threat to democracy and that Republicans should be banned from all manner of things, practicing medicine, practicing law, going to college at all, holding jobs, partaking in society at large. Because Republicans are evil and cheat.

A very few people there know that I have a JD and I was asked privately to explain what Dobbs meant. When I told those people that Dobbs meant states decided abortion laws and that CA and NY now have some of the most permissive laws in the world, I was met with shock.

Why? Because all the news sources they consume told them otherwise. I was accused of lying. I was accused of making it up. And when they went and checked and found out I was correct, the utter cognitive dissonance was painful to behold. Because these sources they trust lied.

The response was not to question worldview and whether those sources were lying to them about other matters. The response was ego defense. Okay well this is wrong but TX banned and that’s what the rest of the country will do and they weren’t lying, they were just upset!

That is the mental barrier with which messaging that’s not fully of the Left, let alone being of the Right, is up against. Two generations of being told that Republicans are evil cheaters who aren’t a legitimate political party. Two generations of no civics education, not really.

People don’t like to question priors because doing so means admitting you did not interpret the world correctly and the ego will defend against that. It’s been +/- 18 years since I’ve had to admit my view of Middle Eastern geopolitics was absolutely wrong. I’m still bitter.

We discuss Othering and that is also a problem. But there are two generations of Americans for whom a baseline worldview is that if the Republicans win, that can be ignored because it’s not legitimate. And that I don’t see changing. It’s only going to get uglier from here.

As is alexthechick’s usual wont, she’s right, and you know she is.

It becomes more undeniable with every passing day that the Left really, truly does want us eliminated, that they want a war with us; hell, they’re now to the point of saying so explicitly and unequivocally, not even bothering with the usual evasion and dissembling. We avoid acknowledging this brutal reality at our own mortal peril. Just this once, they should be given exactly what they say they want, just as hard and ferociously as it can possibly be given to them: unrestricted war, no-shit war, HOT war. War to the knife, knife to the fucking hilt. Shoot them, stab them, garrote them, beat them bloody with fists and feet. Let the pitiful remnant of shell-shocked survivors of our long-postponed wrath lapse into full-bore catatonia at the merest suggestion they might ever even DREAM of fucking with us again.

Truth will out has outed

A week that has made history.

The Supreme Court has handed down its decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, the Mississippi abortion case. There will be countless analyses and opinion pieces to follow, but the short of it is this: The Court has formally overturned its rulings in Roe v. Wade (1973) and Casey v. Planned Parenthood (1992). The official holding is this: “The Constitution does not confer a right to abortion; Roe and Casey are overruled; and the authority to regulate abortion is returned to the people and their elected representatives.”

The news isn’t as stunning as it might otherwise have been absent the leak, early in May, of the draft opinion authored by Justice Samuel Alito. Though it is not identical, the decision, handed down Friday morning, largely tracks the February draft.

That draft did not include the breakdown of the justices, though the rumors swirling with it hinted at it being five-to-four (with the conservative and liberal wings voting in their respective blocs and Chief Justice Roberts attempting to thread the needle between them).  Now we have the official split: Justice Alito wrote the opinion, with Justices Thomas, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett joining, and Chief Justice Roberts concurring. As expected, Justices Breyer, Sotomayor and Kagan dissented.

Contra the deceitful shrieking of shitlib hysterics, this decision neither “ends” nor “bans” a single fucking thing. The Court’s reasoning is impeccable, its ruling unassailable on any grounds except the Left’s selfish obsession with consequence-free promiscuity. As is abundantly clear to all rational, fair-minded grownups, there is NO “right” to abortion to be found in the US Constitution, in which the word “abortion” doesn’t appear even once, under any of the various noms de subterfuge the baby-murderin’ Left cobbled together to make a most dark and ugly thing sound less objectionable to sane people: “women’s health care,” “a woman’s right to choose,” “women’s reproductive freedom,” among other innocuous-seeming euphemisms.

So with Roe being officially rendered null and void, the abortion conflict moves back to the Several States, which is where it should have been all along. The most interesting thing from here on out isn’t the issue itself, but the Left’s psychotic overreaction. The big question for Our Side: are we adequately prepared for the Leftist terrorism, violence, and lawlessness sure to come in response to their having to choke down two (2) major defeats in as many days? I mean, it’s not as if they’re going to any great trouble to obscure their plans or anything.

Jane’s Revenge Plans Roe v. Wade Reveal ‘Night of Rage,’ ‘Carrying that Anger Out into the World Expressing it Physically’
The radical pro-abortion group, Jane’s Revenge, is planning more acts of domestic terrorism when the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision on Roe v. Wade is revealed, dubbed a “Night of Rage: An Autonomous Call to Action Against Patriarchal Supremacy.”

The group posted its plans on the Anarchists Library website at the end of May in expectation of the ruling, expected sometime in June.

Here are some excerpts from the manifesto:

This is an event that should inspire rage in millions of people who can get pregnant…and yet, the response thus far has been tepid.

We have agonized over this apparent absence of indignation. Why is it that we are so afraid to unleash hell upon those who are destroying us? Fear of state repression is valid, but this goes deeper than that.

The next step is carrying that anger out into the world and expressing it physically.

The manifesto concludes, “To those who work to oppress us: If abortion isn’t safe, you aren’t either. We are everywhere.”

And there you have it: a direct, explicit call to violence, bloodshed, civil disorder, and organized mass brigandry. It’s as plainspoken and brass-bold a threat against the public weal as has ever been made…and our current piss-poor excuse for an “Attorney General” offers his usual bland shrug of the shoulders as his only reassurance that he will be attentive to his sworn duty to uphold law and order—a duty both he and the corrupt and overtly-politicized DoJ he oversees care not one whit about when those under threat hold the wrong political opinions and beliefs.

Too many of us are shocked, horrified, and indignant that the Left should be so nasty, so brutish, so gosh-darned uncivil in their open declaration of war against all decent, normal Americans. Those people are stupid as all hell, wittingly blind, and badly in need of a clue, which they could easily have picked up by no more difficult or taxing expedient than watching the 6 o’clock nightly news on their TeeWee since about mid-2015 or so. To claim to be surprised every time the violent Left *gasp!* advocates violence and then takes to the streets to make good on their promise of right ought to embarrass the living hell out of anyone admitting to it.

We’ve all seen this dumbshow a thousand and one times by now; we know perfectly well how the story ends. To my way of thinking, this time Real Americans must not sit idly by and let it all happen again without resistance—REAL resistance, PHYSICAL resistance. This time, Leftists must not be the only ones hitting the streets to visit mayhem and retribution upon their hated foes. If terrorist militias such as Jane’s Revenge follow through on their vow of chaos and destruction, then the good, the decent, and the righteous will be presented with a golden opportunity to settle the accounts, to make the wreckers and the ruiners pay for their feral perfidy at long last. May we not let it pass us by.

They say it’s a call to action? They damned well ought to get themselves some, then, and plenty of it.

15 States Vow To Protect Oil, Gas Industry From ‘Woke’ Banks
A coalition of 15 states announced a commitment to scrutinize future business with banks that divest from the fossil fuel industry.

The coalition of top state financial officers, formed by West Virginia State Treasurer Riley Moore, collectively represents more than $600 billion in public assets under management, according to the announcement. The officials wrote a letter to banking industry leaders Monday, warning that they would begin considering institutions’ boycotts of fossil fuel companies before awarding state contracts.

“Reckless attacks on law-abiding energy companies cut off paychecks for workers and take food off the tables of hard-working families,” Moore and the other officials wrote. “The Biden Administration has resumed these attacks by attempting to ban energy exploration on public lands and reportedly pressuring U.S. banks and financial institutions to limit, encumber, or outright refuse financing for traditional energy production companies.”

“These misguided political schemes have impeded economic growth, driven up consumer costs, and regressed our country to foreign energy dependence,” the letter continued.

The fossil fuel industry provides jobs, health insurance, infrastructure and quality of life to Americans nationwide, they added.

Since taking office, President Joe Biden has blocked major pipelines, ditched oil drilling projects, introduced sweeping regulations and banned new oil and gas leases on federal lands. His administration is also pushing the Build Back Better Act, the budget bill passed by the House last week that includes several green energy handouts and a tax on methane emissions.

“Woke capitalists and globalist actors have been using the guise of climate change to press for anti-American reforms that reduce our country’s competitiveness against hostile nations like Russia and China,” Moore said in a statement.

“As a result, in less than a year our country has gone from energy independence to having a President who is begging OPEC and Russia to pump more oil,” he continued. “It’s time we fight back to protect our economies, jobs, tax revenue and energy independence from these increasing attacks on our critical industries.”

It most certainly is at that—time, and well past time. But don’t let’s be calling these assuredly political schemes “misguided.” They are no such thing; the skulking malefactors behind the curtain know exactly what they’re doing, and the ruin and catastrophe they cause is not some random blunder or unforeseeable misfortune, but the carefully calculated end product of a long-term program conceived, implemented, and managed by evil, monstrous predators.

When only one side is open to fair and honest debate, guess which side will win

An argument founded on a false premise.

If the recent assassination attempt targeting Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh weren’t sufficient proof that a divided America is tiptoeing toward violent conflict, a research firm released a “disturbing poll” showing that nearly half of male Democrats under the age of 50 believe it acceptable to assassinate a politician “who is harming the country or our democracy.”

Uh huh. Know who else deemed ruthless politically-motivated violence not only “acceptable,” but downright essential? Go on, guess.

Sen. Rand Paul, who has suffered two violent, politically motivated attacks in recent years, called out the White House and congressional Democrats for “ginning up and encouraging” violence. However, in a country that increasingly eschews rational debate and embraces the vituperative soundbites of reality TV, it can be no surprise that the political stakes in America are tending toward bloodshed.

The author’s overly delicate sensibilities prevent him from digging down deep enough to uncover the root cause behind both the eschewal of rational, respectful debate and the escalating inclination towards bloodshed: the America-hating Left’s open advocacy for extreme authoritarianist tyranny, an ideology which is impossible to reconcile with the ideals of our Founding Fathers.

It was once widely understood in the United States that vociferous debate and vigorous policy disagreement were features of a healthy American society. Hashing out arguments over contested issues in the public square had two immediate salubrious effects: it allowed the average American to appreciate the “pros” and “cons” of consequential policy decisions, and it provided those whose viewpoints did not win the day to nonetheless speak their minds.

Here we have ourselves another insuperable problem: how can any debate, vociferous or otherwise, take place when of the two contestants has demonstrated, repeatedly and unequivocally, his inflexible disdain for it? Is their any point to trading away our core ideals in bootless pursuit of a hopeless bargain? If you’re open to compromise with Leftists, which parts of the Constitution are you willing to throw away? How many times must a stubborn fool be kicked in the teeth before he stops crawling back for more of the same?

As a testament to how vital debate and disagreement are to the process of creating good public policy, it has often been the case throughout American history that the well-articulated arguments of the “losing side” eventually rise to guide future generations.

Another suicidal, self-evidently false assumption: that the phantasmagorical ideal of a decent, patriotic, well-intentioned Left whom men of integrity can trust to engage in honest debate lives on still, perhaps even thrives, in direct contravention of all available evidence. The importance of well-articulated arguments and respectful disagreement lies not so much in their being vital to the health of a Republic than in being confirmational markers of a healthy Republic’s existence.

Of all the fruits that naturally grow from the variegated branches of free speech, its disposition toward counseling wisdom is perhaps the sweetest. In an age when the word “democracy” is thrown around indiscriminately by politicians who wish to clothe themselves in its virtuous connotations, it is society’s respect for diverse opinions and its willingness to engage those opinions with serious debate that truly provide the cornerstone of any democratic system.

Yet where does our nation stand today — on the side of free and muscular debate, confident that lively disagreement only strengthens America’s foundations? Or on the side of insular state-sponsored dogma that tends to smother the full range of voices naturally expected from a diverse society? 

To ask the question is to answer it. In a society truly confident in the strengthening quality of free and muscular debate, there’s no need to even ask. In a society smothering under the malign insularity of state-sponsored dogma, questioning it is outlawed, a criminal offense.

So what does it say about the current health of our nation that so many Americans seem unable or unwilling to respect opposing points of view? What does it say about our political leaders when they increasingly spurn public debate and vilify those with whom they disagree? What does it say about our institutions when they are quick to label those who protest government policies as “domestic terrorists”? What does it say about our prominent news publications when they declare certain debates “settled” or certain opinions “disinformation”?

What does it say about the author, that he would have us “respect” creeping Marxist tyranny in our own goddamned country instead of fighting to the very last extreme to destroy it?

It says, I believe, that we are advancing down a dangerous path in the United States, one that will only become more treacherous the more we refuse to “agree to disagree.” Silencing opinion to drown out noise will only cause greater animosity.

Which animosity, on the part of the blameless multitudes who have been unjustly silenced, is entirely commendable. Admittedly, the path is a dangerous one. Unfortunately, we’ve advanced practically to the end of it, we’re just coasting along with no brakes, and it’s all downhill for us now.

Censoring dissent in order to fabricate “unanimous agreement” will only lead to bad policy outcomes. Demonizing adversaries as unworthy of consideration will only divide us more sharply.

Apart from the malodorous and un-American use of censorship, insult, and intimidation to manipulate public debate, increasing incidents of political violence are timely reminders why vigorous argument still serves this country best.

“Vigorous argument” can best serve only a healthy Republic, whose polity holds values and beliefs that may differ, but are in the main compatible.

If debate and disagreement are no longer understood as hallmarks of the American system of democracy, then that system will quickly go up in smoke. If individual Americans are treated as “domestic enemies” for their political beliefs, then spiraling violence becomes inevitable.

Got some bad news for ya, JB: the American system, a perennially-harried combustible “transitioned” by fanatically patient and determined Leftist firebugs into soot and smoke which long since wafted right up the chimney, out, and away. Worst of all, if we’re too prissy, too stiff with delusion, too complacent and/or cowed, to admit to ourselves the existence of a formidable OpFor contingent of bona-fide, self-declared “Enemies, Domestic,” we were soundly defeated well before the first shot was fired.

It’s remarkable, the number of otherwise intelligent people who sincerely believe today’s dissolute, incurious, lazy-minded generation of Americans to be well above so much as contemplating any future resort to the barbaric measures employed by our primitive, unenlightened Founders to carve out a new nation from the constricting coils of the British Empire for themselves and their posterity. As if Jefferson’s prophetic warnings of the ever-present need to maintain a finely-honed edge on our ability to call down the thunder whenever the situation requires it of liberty-loving Americans.

The New Abby Normal

Pennsylvania Democratic congresswoman Chrissy Houlahan has attributed her past electoral success to her focus on “civility” and “unity.” Now, she says the Republican Party is “diseased” and must be “cleansed.”

Houlahan’s comments came during a May 27 appearance on the Daily Beast‘s The New Abnormal podcast, which saw the congresswoman disparage Republicans as deplorable and anti-democratic.

“This is, in my opinion, a diseased Republican Party. And it needs to be cured and cleansed,” Houlahan said. “So the stakes of having a Republican, as an example, in my seat are more than just policy differences. They are democracy, in my opinion.”

Houlahan’s rhetoric is a far cry from 2020, when the Democrat credited her political success to her message of “civility,” “decency,” “unity,” and “empathy.” “People ask me constantly how I flipped a seat in a competitive district. One of the reasons is that I made civility and decency a core of my campaign,” Houlahan said at the time. “Pennsylvanians want unity. They want leaders who rise above the fray and lead with kindness and empathy towards all Americans.”

Houlahan’s campaign did not return a request for comment. The Democrat’s decision to abandon her message of unity in favor of more inflammatory rhetoric toward Republicans closely resembles Biden’s track record. After promising “unity” on the 2020 campaign trail, the president went on to equate Republican senators to segregationists during a January speech, a move that drew criticism from some fellow Democrats. Biden has since centered his midterm election strategy on labeling Republicans “ultra MAGA,” a term that reflects the GOP’s “extremism,” according to the White House.

“Civility and decency are solely needed to heal this country. Biden has that,” Houlahan said before the 2020 election. Just one year prior, the congresswoman compared President Donald Trump to a terrorist.

Sorry, bitch, but I’m no longer interested in healing a gott-damned thing. My sole interest now is in destroying you—destroying you, the horse you rode in on, your family and friends, and everybody who “thinks” like you so utterly, so entirely, that none of your kind can ever rise to trouble me and mine again.

Rage, rage against the dying of the light

War Is Upon Us. It Is Well Past Time To Let Them Know That We Will Not Go Quietly Into The Night!
Sitting at dinner last night with my wife, we had the news on in the background and lo and behold a report of another mass shooting, she just looked at me and shook her head. She then said “can’t people see what it happening?” They need us disarmed. Not going to happen without a fight, but I don’t think they care at this point. The mask has been off of these communist. They no longer hide their intentions.

Are we going to watch TPTB revel in their success of stealing our country and do nothing? Or will we fight? We lost our Country. Now what are you/we going to do about it? How do we restore Liberty for the future generations?

War has been declared against us deplorables in this land. Don’t believe it? Look no further than the Jan. 6th political prisoners. I know of only one way to respond. We need to fight, because we have no other options left to us that I can see. We must fight because they aim to kill us. They aim to wipe us off the face of this earth or enslave us. It is well past time to let them know that we will not go quietly into the night. It’s either them or us.

True dat, as my NOLA chums used to say. And the longer certain of us keep their heads firmly embedded in the sand—desperately trying to keep the warm, cozy security blanket of denial wrapped around them, to throw a gratuitous secondary metaphor into the, umm, mix—the more severe the inevitable reckoning is going to be. Am I overstating the case, or is Wes? Nope, not by a long yard we ain’t.

The FBI has released the affidavit filed in the case of Nicholas John Roske, who was arrested near the home of Supreme Court Justice Bret Kavanagh on Wednesday afternoon. The list of weapons and gear the suspect had on his person reads like something out of a horror movie. Roske, who told police that he planned to assassinate Kavanaugh, was arrested with a suitcase containing “a black tactical chest rig and tactical knife, a Glock 17 pistol with two magazines and ammunition, pepper spray, zip ties, a hammer, screwdriver, nail punch, crow bar, pistol light, duct tape, hiking boots with padding on the outside of the soles, and other items,” according to the FBI.

And lest you think some of those items were just ordinary tools you might find in the trunk of any car, Roske, who had traveled to Maryland from California, took a taxi to Kavanaugh’s home and carried the gear in a suitcase. What was the would-be assassin planning to do with the zip ties and the duct tape? Those don’t seem like items you’d need for an assassination, do they? And padded boots, purportedly to conceal his footprints? Why would you need those if you were planning to commit suicide? Obviously, there’s still a lot we don’t know about this case, but it’s terrifying to contemplate the “what ifs” in this assassination attempt.

Thank God police got to him before he was able to kill or maim Kavanaugh, his family members, or his security detail.

The suspect, who said he found the address of Kavanaugh’s home on the internet (that’s on YOU, left-wing whack jobs), told Montgomery County Police he was upset about the leaked draft opinion of the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization case, which could potentially overturn the 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling, and also the recent school shooting in Uvalde. He admitted to targeting Kavanaugh because he believed the justice would “side with Second Amendment decisions that would loosen gun control laws.” He said he planned to kill Kavanaugh and then commit suicide to give his life purpose.

Wow, let’s see here: anti-2A rights; pro-infanticide; a bungled, all-thumbs attempt to murder a mildly conservative USSC Justice—yup, he sure do tick off a good handful of the obligatory shitlib checkboxes, don’t he? All in a day’s work, though, for today’s violent, bloodthirsty Demonrats.

“I want to tell you, Gorsuch. I want to tell you, Kavanaugh. You have released the whirlwind, and you will pay the price. You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.”

Those were the words of the Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, one of the most powerful elected officials in the nation, in March 2020. After spending years cynically delegitimizing the high court, Schumer had moved to openly threatening lifetime-appointed judges, by name, because he feared they would knock down the concocted constitutional right to an abortion.

Initially, Schumer refused to walk back those remarks. His spokesman ludicrously claimed the statement was “a reference to the political price Senate Republicans will pay for putting these justices on the court.” Of course, the senator hadn’t singled out the Republican Party, or any Republican. He called out the two newest justices by name. “You” and “you.”

Yet, it is almost surely the case that the coverage of a California man carrying a weapon and burglary equipment near Brett Kavanaugh’s home, reportedly there to murder the Supreme Court justice over the leaked opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health, will not be tied to the rhetoric of Democrats like Schumer. CNN political reporters will not walk from one Democratic senator to the next, asking them if their rhetoric is responsible for inciting a man to show up at the Supreme Court justice’s home with a tactical knife, a Glock, ammunition, pepper spray and zip ties. We will not have a national conversation about the specter of leftist violence.  

Of course not, and only a damned purblind fool would expect it. This isn’t a level field we’re playing on here, a grim reality we’d all better square ourselves with before it devours us. Whining about how “unfair” it all is; pointing out shitlib “hypocrisy” as if that might trouble them in the least; launching into the old, played-out “if a REPUBLICAN did it!” song and dance routine—no more than tiresome, pathetic cliches at this point, every last one of them. What next, you gonna yammer at me about how biased the media is or something?

And normally I wouldn’t blame Democrats for the actions of extremists, either. The problem is that not only does the left continue to push the boundaries with Schumer-like threats but they are engaged in the relentless, daily smearing of their political opponents as seditious, vote-stealing, child-murdering fascists and insurgents. If this were true, violence would be justified. But it’s a sinister lie.

Moreover, though most people abhor violence, there is a concerted effort to intimidate justices. When Peter Doocy asked White House press secretary Jen Psaki if activists posting maps to homes and doxxing Supreme Court justices was the “kind of thing this president wants?” she responded: “Look, I think the president’s view is that there’s a lot of passion, a lot of fear, a lot of sadness from many, many people across this country about what they saw in that leaked document.” Kavanaugh’s would-be murderer told the FBI he got the idea to kill the Supreme Court justice after finding his address posted on the internet.

And let’s not forget that the White House encouraged people to go to the justices’ homes to protest. This is an attack not only on separation of powers but also basic norms of civility. The same people who are clamoring to limit free expression can’t even ask their people to observe basic decency.

The overarching backdrop of Lincoln’s Lyceum Address was, of course, that most fraught issue that dominated so much of antebellum American politics: slavery. But his advice, and his appeal, are timeless. In fact, that advice has never been more apropos than it is today. For today, much as back then, the threat of mob rule dangles over the republic like a sword of Damocles. And today, much as back then, that threat emanates from a similar partisan tribe: the Democratic Party. True to Alinskyite form and consistent with their riotous 1960s-era campus activist forebears, today’s Democrats routinely threaten the republic with mob rule if they do not get their way.

In the lead-up to Inauguration Day 2017 and on Inauguration Day itself, leftist activists across the country blocked traffic, smashed windows, looted stores and set cars ablaze; in Washington, D.C. alone, 217 people were arrested and six police officers were injured. On October 6, 2018, the day that Brett Kavanaugh was sworn in as a Supreme Court justice, leftist activists, intoxicated by a smear campaign of fabricated sexual assault charges against the esteemed jurist, physically banged on the Court’s doors in a ham-fisted attempt to disrupt the proceedings. In the post-George Floyd “summer of love” of 2020, Black Lives Matter and Antifa hooligans ravaged American urban corridors with a zealous “mobocratic spirit,” racking up a combined arson, vandalism and looting bill of over $1 billion in paid insurance claims.

On April 20, 2021, the nation waited with bated breath to see if Derek Chauvin, the disgraced Minneapolis cop, would be found guilty of the murder of George Floyd. He was, and deservedly so—but one still wonders how tainted the verdict was, given not merely President Joe Biden’s wildly inappropriate pre-verdict commentary on Chauvin’s guilt but also the predictable assembly of frothing leftist mobs in Minnesota yet again ready to riot and set cities ablaze at a moment’s notice if the verdict did not redound to their liking. Chauvin deserved his verdict, but the “ravages of mob law” still reigned.

Most recently, leftist “protestors” have taken to picketing, demonstrating and shouting crass obscenities outside the Supreme Court and the conservative justices’ personal homes—a naked example of the most sordid form of raw power politics imaginable, intended to intimidate a swing justice to defect from Justice Samuel Alito’s leaked majority opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, this Court term’s marquee abortion case. Thus far, Attorney General Merrick Garland has called these prototypical mobocratic displays “unacceptable” and “dangerous” but he has eschewed pressing charges under 18 U.S. Code Section 1507, a federal statute that clearly proscribes this grotesque conduct.

Conservative churches across the country have seen Marxist, pro-abortion demonstrators halt services, all in a bizarre attempt to better salvage the Left’s foremost pagan sacrament: abortion. And in what looks an awful lot like an act of arson, a pro-life center in Madison, Wisconsin, mysteriously burned down shortly after the Dobbs leak, around the same time vile graffiti was found on the premises reading, “If abortions aren’t safe than [sic] you aren’t either.”

Since it’s Snoozeweek, the author is obliged, for the sake of “fairness,” to balance out the piece by dusting off the shabby, tired old J6 “riots” canard and propping the poor thing up for a little invidious-comparison action with the previous long-ass litany of shitlib violence, mayhem, murder, looting, arson, and general chaos, as if the J6 Parade O’ Doofi protest was in any way as damaging, dangerous, costly, or threatening as two fucking years of violent Leftist mobs, officially sanctioned by state and local governments, federal officials, and the Democrat Party, dealing out night after night of “street justice” with total impunity.

J6 was a nothingburger, one of those rare protests that truly WAS “mostly peaceful.” The only people who got killed on J6 were ours, wantonly murdered by Congress’s Capitol Pig Department. Unique in the history of “insurrection,” the J6 “revolutionaries” who have been accused of seeking to overthrow the US government were in fact unarmed, mostly cooperative with the authorities, non-aggressive, and perfectly amiable.

Here’s your fucking compare-contrast, if you want one: the Leftymob was extremely obstreperous and confrontational; they were irrational, enraged, aggressive, and completely out of control. They hid their identities behind black masks, hoods, riot gear, and even improvised body armor. They were armed with just about every weapon you could imagine, and quite a few you couldn’t: clubs, maces, chains, flails, frozen water bottles, two-by-fours with nails driven through one side, you name it. Their standard MO is to assault innocent bystanders, do as much property damage as possible, and scream their spittle-spraying tirades for purposes of physical intimidation directly into the faces of normal folks just out for a casual evening stroll, with no interest in being subjected to yet another loony-Left political harangue indicting them for being responsible for chattel slavery, climate change, poverty, disappointing Christmas presents, urban decay, injustice, war, strip-mining, homelessness, rampant greed, the damned Jews, selfishness, bigotry, Hitler, and painful rectal itch.

They operate like a wolfpack: prowl the riot site in search of easy prey, cut a straggler out and herd him to a more private spot, surround their intended victim so as to pin him in place and isolate him from any prospective assistance, and then deal out a merciless mob-style beating, until the helpless vic is nearly comatose, or possibly dead. Then it’s on to the next blood-orgy. The mob knows they needn’t fear interference of any sort from the law, who for some baffling, self-defeating reason seem to prefer harrassing and arresting the innocent victims of this organized spree-violence than do their sworn duty and go after the lawless, cop-hating drains on society they inexplicably but incontrovertibly seem to have adopted as their natural allies.

I shouldn’t need to bring up which of these groups has scores of its members rotting in solitary confinement without charges in a DC Gulag for months now, all their Constitutional rights being flung down and danced upon daily—and which one’s members are but rarely arrested, hardly ever tried, and never held over as guests of the State for more than a day or two. You’d maybe expect that in Portland, Seattle, Chicago, or other similar shitlib citadels, but it’s held true all over the damned country. Should you discern a sinister meaning in that, I won’t bother you with any contradictory arguments.

Mob violence has been the métier of Democrats practically since the foul Democrat Party came into being. To pretend it ain’t so and treat with the blaggards as if they were respectable, rational opponents who, though unswervingly dedicated to their cause, are nonetheless essentially honorable people who, despite our disagreements, are still amenable to reason. They are nothing of the sort—haven’t been for decades, if they ever were at all. That’s the reality, disagreeable as it is, and the absolute last thing Our Side needs to be doing is taking a page from the Left’s book: wilfully discarding actual reality to keep ourselves all wrapped up in a cozy fantasy of comity and cooperation. Such dead-end delusions can only hinder us from doing what we all already realize is necessary: tuning up the malevolent brats proper, thereby putting paid to all their silly-ass shit once and for all.

Words mean things

Has there ever been more productive ground for Leftist linguistic manipulation than the abortion issue?

It’s always a red flag when accurate vocabulary becomes verboten. “Pro-Choice” is just one of many Orwellian phrases adopted by TPA (Team Pro-Abortion—M). There’s also “products of conception” for the physical remains of the dead fetus. National Public Radio, Wikipedia, and the New York Times say “abortion care” rather than “abortion,” trying to transform an ugly word into a pretty one by appending the suffix “care.” Kind of like “siphoning-the-brain-out-of-the skull care” or “dismemberment care.”

On NPR, Congressman Hakeem Jeffries ranted about wicked Republicans denying women “health care.” I don’t think Jeffries ever used the word “abortion.” Abortion: you must love it, but can’t see it, and you can’t say it. TPA even gets worked up about the word “abortionist,” insisting that “abortion provider” be used. The word “abortionist” is comparable to the phrase “final solution,” one doctor writes, apparently unaware of how revealing his comment is.

A human fetus is “a clump of cells.” And that is not the worst thing they call a human fetus. The Facebook page “Occupy Democrats” posted a meme that encourages viewers to conflate a human fetus with an animal fetus, as per the falsehoods circulated by influential Darwinist and eugenicist Ernst Haeckel. Under this meme, a poster remarked that a human fetus is comparable to his “boogers,” that is, snot. Another post remarked, “Birthing babies is the emotional distraction to creating a Fascist country.” A Facebook friend holds a PhD in the hard sciences. On his page, one of his leftist friends compared a human fetus to “cancer.” I did not see my scientist friend object. Rather, he said, “Instead of referring to the embryo as a ‘clump of cells,’ given the demographics, it might be more accurate to say ‘future cartel enforcer,’ or ‘future STD-infected crack ho.'” He said this because low income black and Hispanic women are much more likely to get abortions.

In any case, if TPA’s chosen God – perhaps Oprah or Obama – came down from Heaven and announced to them in unambiguous language that a fetus is a human life, they would still be Pro-Abortion. They celebrate selfish power of the strong over the weak as the highest virtue, and vulnerability and dependence as crimes justifying capital punishment. A popular Facebook page makes just this argument. “It doesn’t matter whether a fetus is a human being or not…it doesn’t matter if we are talking about a fertilized egg, a baby, or a five year old.” We are stronger so we have the right to kill.

Another Facebook friend, someone who spends hours devoted to animal rescue, said that she believes in abortion up to and including infanticide of a born child. Killing is morally acceptable, she argued, if a child – a dependent human being – is unwanted by anyone who will meet the child’s needs.

Atheist and Princeton University ethicist Peter Singer concurs. Infants, “because they are not ‘persons,’ have no interest in staying alive, and it is only superstition that makes us think that killing them is intrinsically wrong…Infants with known disabilities … do not bring the same amount of happiness into the lives of their parents … the very fact that someone is disabled means that he or she will have an unhappier life … Singer argues that it should be legal for parents to decide to have their disabled infants killed up to 28 days after birth.”

The left, I was sure, was all about being kind. About championing the oppressed. About condemning selfishness, greed, exploitation. We were on the side of prisoners on death row, of striking workers, of the handicapped who needed government services. We were anti-fur and pro-vegan.

Why were we betraying the most vulnerable humans of all? Why were we championing a morality that privileged the selfish convenience of the powerful ignoring the very lives of the powerless?

My comrades’ dedication to the oppressed was nothing more than a theatrical production in service to a narrative. It was all sets, costumes, scripts. Yes, yes, the left will tell you that they champion the powerless. When they tell you that, they are exiting objective reality and entering the gauzy realm of fairytale storytelling. The left simply takes the costume, “The Victim,” and the other costume, “The Oppressor,” and assigns those costumes to serve political ends.

Thus, the woman choosing to abort the life inside her is draped in “The Victim” costume. She chose to have consensual sex, knowing full well that intercourse creates life. Who victimized her? Amerikkka, of course; who else? You had to ask??? An astounding meme now circulates. It insists that America forces women to get pregnant and have children. This meme from “Susan of Texas” has been shared thousands of times.

With the deft touch of a pickpocket, the left has transposed The Victim role from the life form that ends up dismembered in a petri dish – the fetus – to the woman choosing to terminate that life. The antagonist is not the fetus; the fetus is erased through euphemism. It’s a “clump of cells.” Rather, the antagonist is “misogyny,” “patriarchy,” or “The Catholic Church.” In objective reality, none of these made the choice for sexual intercourse that the woman made; in the leftist theatrical production they are all the mustache-twirling villains who control the poor, poor woman’s agency. They got her pregnant, not her own choices.

Follows, a detailed, step-by-step description of the abortion process that is so gruesome, so macabre, the horror of it would have to leave any decent, compassionate human being physically ill. A former Planned Parenthood director, Annette Lancaster, speaks of her experience of it in the bleakest terms:

She’d seen and dealt with sick and injured people, and witnessed surgeries. But nothing prepared her…’to actually see…the workers piecing the baby back together in a petri dish…I’ve seen many women break down and cry.'”

This is done to make sure no pieces of the slaughtered infant are left behind inside the woman to rot and cause a potentially life-threatening infection.

Lancaster said in an interview that she and her co-workers could not bring themselves to talk to outsiders about their grim tasks. Rather, they gathered with other abortionists and abused drugs and alcohol to cope “with the things that we did and the things that we saw.” After an “abortion day…we would say that we were having a staff meeting…we would get pretty intoxicated.” Even her children noted a change in Lancaster. She would refer to the women who came for abortions as “cows” and “cattle.” “We called the trashcan where we would put the aborted babies the ‘nursery.'” She underwent a “hardening of the heart”

Well my God in Heaven, I should think so, yeah. Unless one is a soulless, sadistic psychopath, how could it possibly be otherwise?

This lengthy, impassioned screed makes for some damned unpleasant reading. Nonetheless, it is an essential piece, maybe as important a one as I can remember seeing right offhand, and it covers a lot of ground. Of course and as usual, the very people who need to read it most…won’t.

RIP Randy Weaver

One of the very worst of innumerable “FBI run amok” stories.

Randy Weaver has passed away. Three decades ago, he was entrapped by an ATF agent. Federal agents subsequently killed his son and wife. The Justice Department denied that anyone’s rights were violated but still paid a multi-million dollar settlement for the Weaver family’s wrongful death lawsuit. Federal abuses at Ruby Ridge, the subsequent FBI coverup, and the outrageous arguments that federal lawyers made in court to protect the FBI sniper helped awaken legions of Americans to the danger of boundless federal power.

On August 22, 1992,  FBI sniper Lon Horiuchi killed Vicki Weaver as she stood in the door of a cabin at Ruby Ridge, Idaho, holding her baby. The FBI initially claimed that killing Mrs. Weaver was justified and then later covered up key details and claimed it was accidental. FBI chief Louis Freeh pretended his agents had done nothing seriously wrong. After an Idaho prosecutor indicted Horiuchi for manslaughter, the Clinton administration Justice Department swayed a federal court to dismiss the case  based on the “supremacy clause” of the Constitution. But the Founding Fathers never intended for “federal supremacy” to nullify all of the Bill of Rights. Federal judge captured the soul of the case in a dissent that warned of the new  James Bond “007 standard for the use of deadly force” against American citizens. Kozinski summarized the case: “A group of FBI agents formulated rules of engagement that permitted their colleagues to hide in the bushes and gun down men who posed no immediate threat. Such wartime rules are patently unconstitutional for a police action.”

Though the FBI insisted its agents had behaved impeccably, the feds paid a $3 million wrongful death settlement to the Weaver family. A top FBI official was sent to prison for destroying key evidence in the case.

The FBI has become more powerful and more dangerous since Ruby Ridge.

It damned sure has at that, which is an abomination before God.

I’ve told the story here of meeting and hanging out with Weaver at the Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot one year. He was friendly and personable enough, although it would be stretching things a good bit to say he was gregarious. In the middle of an enraptured group of shooters who considered him to be something of a martyr/hero combination and were hanging on his every word, Weaver seemed to know he was among friends at KCR. But he remained slightly guarded nonetheless.

I was struck by how easy it was to see the anguish in the poor man’s eyes over having federal thugs murder his entire family right before his very eyes, for no good reason at all. Weaver’s pain was etched deeply in him like a burning brand, a wound still as fresh and raw as if his personal nightmare at the hands of an irredeemably evil government had taken place only the day before, rather than several years.

Rest now, Randy. No flesh and blood man could see the things you’ve seen and walk away with soul and spirit unscarred. May the pain and horror be far removed from you, now and forevermore.

The Great Unmentionable

Andrea wonders why nobody seems to be asking a certain simple question.

Fewer than ten years ago, even Planned Parenthood acknowledged that abortion is a “difficult decision.” On its website in 2022, it no longer does.

On the pro-abortion side, many women offer variations of the same two arguments: (1) I had things other than motherhood that I wanted to do with my life, and (2) it was the best thing I could do for the baby because it wouldn’t have had a good life with me. Regarding the second argument, I’d love to see a person charged with the murder of an adult successfully make that same argument: “Yeah, I had to kill my wife because I couldn’t support her in the way I wanted for her. Killing her was the best choice for me and for her.”

For those who say it was a hard choice, the logical question is “Why? Why was it a hard choice?” If the pro-abortion side is correct — that the fetus is not a baby, is an insensate bundle of cells, is inseparable from the woman’s body so it’s like having an appendix removed, or is lacking the intellectual or emotional capacity to have an existential desire for life — abortion should be no harder than eating chicken for dinner. (I have no idea how vegetarian and vegan women justify abortion.)

Pro-life people seldom ask women the “why” question because they already know the answer: a fetus is an independent life within the woman, who is both life-giver and incubator. This is not a conspiracy by the White patriarchy; it’s a biological fact of life. But still, what pro-lifers must do moving forward is to ask the question every time. Only in that way can they force women to acknowledge what they’re saying when they proudly recount that they had an abortion even while acknowledging the tough decision they made: they sacrificed a human life for their own benefit.

Funny, innit, that Lefty women would find that idea troubling, given the Left’s perennial emphasis on selfishness and “living your best life” and all that rot. Funnier still is how often Leftards manage to undercut their own arguments this way; as I’ve been saying for years, your typical, standard-issue shitlib will contradict himself eighteen times before lunch every day. Reminds me of another abortion-issue oxymoron:

The debate concerning “fetal homicide” hinges on the issue of fetuses killed by violent acts against pregnant women. Pro-life advocates typically support legislation that defines the fetus as a person under fetal homicide laws, or otherwise confers rights or protections upon the fetus or unborn child. Common references to such laws include the Fetal Protection Act, the Preborn Victims of Violence Act and the Unborn Victim of Violence Act. Those supporting these laws say that both the lives of the pregnant woman and the fetus should be explicitly protected. They assert that fetal homicide laws justly criminalize these cases and address both unborn children and their mothers.

Currently, at least 38 states have fetal homicide laws.

This obvious contradiction can’t go on forever. Is it a developing human life, or is it a gaggle of cells with no more moral or emotional heft than a random wad of pocket lint? Sooner or later, society will be forced to settle on whether it’s going to be the one, or the other.

BREAKING: Mobs Protest at Homes of Supreme Court Justices

Which is, y’know, blatantly illegal.

Ugly protests erupted outside the homes of several Supreme Court justices Saturday night.
An angry mob showed up in Chief Justice John Roberts’ neighborhood as well as Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s home.

Imagine what would’ve happened had Trump supporters marched on the home of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. President Biden would have called out the military, Congress would have called for hearings, and CNN anchors would have soiled themselves.

It turns out the protests may, in fact, be illegal.

“According to 18 U.S.C. 1507 – which relates to Obstruction of Justice – anyone who has the intent of ‘interfering with, obstructing, or impeding the administration of justice, or with the tent of influencing any judge, juror, witness, or court officer’ and pickets or parades in or near a court building or residents ‘occupied or used by such judge, juror, witness or court officer’ will face a fine or imprisonment of one year,’ the New York Post reports.

Ummmm…MAY?!?

If that’s the case, police should arrest every person protesting outside the homes of the Supreme Court justices. They should be treated just as harshly as those arrested for the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.

No, they should be treated much, much worse, seeing as how these psychopaths are ACTUALLY doing the very things—insurrection, sedition, directly threatening the American system of government—the J6 Gulag-ees did NOT do. But hey, if this were anything resembling a sane, sensible country with a functional legal system, we wouldn’t even be having this conversation at all, now would we?

Just remember folks, this shitstorm of angst and aggro is happening because shitlib “women” are terrified they might lose their “right” to unlimited promiscuous, casual sex with no consequences, as is explicitly spelled out in the US Constitution. The offices of Wisconsin Family Action, a pro-life ministry, were firebombed early Sunday morning in Madison, Wisconsin. There were no injuries.

“If abortions aren’t safe, then you aren’t either,” was spray painted on the outside of the building.

Trust me on this: if enough of us Normal American-types begin to feel that WE aren’t safe, then you’re soon going to learn that whether abortion remains legal or not has all of a sudden become the least of your concerns, sweetie.

In recent days a Catholic church in Colorado was heavily damaged by pro-abortion vandals and over the weekend, protesters blocked the entrances of church houses and protested outside the homes of conservative Supreme Court justices.

“The Madison Police Department understands members of our community are feeling deep emotions due to the recent news involving the United States Supreme Court,” Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes said in a statement. “Early Sunday morning, our team began investigating a suspicious fire inside an office building on the city’s north side. It appears a specific non-profit that supports anti-abortion measures was targeted.” 

I hope the Madison Police Department also understands that “feeling deep emotions” should have absolutely no bearing whatsoever on arresting people who firebomb offices, wreck churches, physically interefere with the right to worship of their parishioners, and illegally try to intimidate Supreme Court justices.

Let’s get real. This is a domestic terrorist attack against pro-life Christians and it should be treated as such.

A 15-year-old boy who was initially targeted by a false rumor that he was unvaccinated was bullied relentlessly until he took his own life in January, a lawsuit claims.

The suit filed Monday against the Latin School of Chicago alleges administrators at the private college prep school — which charges more than $40,000 annually in tuition — committed “willful failure” to stop the incessant bullying, the Chicago Tribune reported.

Never mind, Jake, it’s Chi-town. I feel a tiny bit better knowing the hideous atrocity took place in Chicago, or maybe not so surprised that it did, at any rate. Chicago is a horrible, horrible place, although I must also say that I have a lot of good friends there. But still. People who don’t know any better assume the name shown on most maps for the river that wends its way through and around the shitpit—the Chicago River—is the correct one, but it isn’t. It’s actually the River Styx, or so I’ve always thought of it, anyway.

The teen was also cyberbullied on Snapchat, where another student urged him to kill himself in mid-December, the suit claims.

Nate met with a school administrator at that point, but none of the students involved in the cyberbullying were disciplined, his parents allege.

Nate’s mother contacted the school more than 30 times in October and November alone, but administrators allegedly turned a “blind eye” to the family’s pleas for help. The teen also reported the bullying to a school dean, but was disregarded, according to the lawsuit.

Absolutely everyone involved here except the poor kid’s family and whatever friends he may have had ought to be waterboarded, have a cattle prod jammed up his/her/its ass as far as it can go and then activated and left continuously running for no less than three (3) days or until the batteries need to be recharged, wichever comes first. Then behead them all with a butter knife without benefit of anesthetic or pain meds. Lather rinse, repeat, until the retributee’s voice has failed from all the screaming for mercy.

On Jan. 6, 2021, a protestor, 40-year-old Brady Knowlton, says that an officer at the Capitol told “You can go in, as long as you don’t break anything.” At 2:35 p.m., Knowlton did, entering through the Upper West Terrace doors. He looked around inside the building, walked through the Rotunda, lobby, and Senate chamber gallery, obeyed the officer’s injunction not to break anything, and left the building at 2:53 p.m. For that, Knowlton now faces twenty years in prison in Old Joe Biden’s vengeful banana republic.

On top of the possibility of being behind bars until 2042, Knowlton, a law student, has suffered numerous other consequences already. According to the Daily Wire, “his law degree has been withheld, his lawyers say, Airbnb has banned him and his wife, and, for reasons that remain undisclosed, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection has stripped his Global Entry access.”

Unbelievable, disgusting, infuriating, intolerable—these and so many more adjectives and epithets come instantly to mind. I’m just gonna give my FBI/DHS/DEA/USSS readers a heads up before I come right out and say it: These people MUST be stopped. They must be stripped of all power, driven from office, and dealt with harshly. If it comes to killing, and it’s going to…well, best be getting on with it then, before these monstrous thugs wantonly destroy many more lives based entirely on moonshine, propaganda, and lies. We The People must see to it that every last one of them is persecuted in measure at the very least commensurate to, preferably surpassing, the petty abuse they’ve dealt out themselves—measure for measure and drop for drop.

The self-defeating folly which speaks of “taking the high road” and “that’s not who we are,” that recoils in dread and horror of “beoming like them,” must be abandoned. This is no chess match, no sporting contest between respectful and gentlemanly combatants. It isn’t a mannerly, highminded way to resolve our dispute, because there ISN’T one; our dispute cannot be resolved. What this is is a vulgar brawl—no holds barred, no referee, no pretentions to an impossible politesse. No tapping out of this one, no clean, civilized capitulation. Only total submission, in a dirty, eye-gouging, ear-biting melee which only ends when one combatant lies bleeding, unconscious, or dead in the gutter.

According to the charges filed against him in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, Knowlton “did unlawfully and knowingly enter and remain in a restricted building and grounds.” He also “did knowingly, and with intent to impede and disrupt the orderly conduct of Government business and official functions, engage in disorderly and disruptive conduct in and within such proximity to, a restricted building and grounds, that is, any posted, cordoned-off, and otherwise restricted area within the United States Capitol and its grounds, where the Vice President and Vice President-elect were temporarily visiting.” He “willfully and knowingly engaged in disorderly and disruptive conduct within the United States Capitol Grounds.

Y’know, exactly as their like-minded ancestors did back in 1775-6, the obstreperous brutes. The similarities between THEIR terrorists, insurrectionists, and lawless brigands and OURS are striking.

In short, America was a huge underground economy. Here trade was free and enterprise unrestricted. Taxes were so often evaded that for all practical purposes there were none; a person could keep everything he earned. He could save, and invest, and eventually have his own thriving business or farm that would provide jobs for the next wave of immigrants.

Inhabited by rebellious, individualistic smugglers and tax evaders, America quickly became the most prosperous place on earth.

You may have seen pictures of the Pine Tree Flag flown by American warships during the Revolution. Why would the colonists put a pine tree on their battle flag?

The (British) government had enacted a regulation saying no colonist could cut down tall, straight trees; these trees were to be reserved for masts on Navy ships. This meant the best, most valuable trees on a person’s land had, in effect, been confiscated by the government.

When a government tree inspector would come through the forest to select and mark the best trees, colonists would follow him. These inspectors were highly trained experts, good at identifying the best trees for Navy ships – the Navy ships that were constantly pursuing smuggling ships.

When the government’s lumberjacks then came through the forest to collect the marked trees, they would find the trees had already been cut and sold – for use on the smuggling ships.

One of these ships was THE LIBERTY, owned by John Hancock. Hancock was a successful wine merchant known throughout the colonies as “The Prince of Smugglers.”  His reputation eventually earned him the honor of being the first to sign the Declaration of Independence.

Unfortunately, as the story of the Pine Tree illustrates, America did not remain beyond the reach of government. As the colonists’ wealth increased, politicians began making more and more efforts to steal – “tax” – this wealth.  More and more bureaucrats and troops were sent to the colonies to enforce laws and shut down down the underground economy.

The colonists’ reaction was dramatic. The infamous Stamp Tax, for instance, was greeted by armed rebellion; tax collectors were tarred and feathered, a procedure which usually resulted in death. When John Hancock was arrested, the people rioted and the government’s agents barely escaped with their lives.

As I’m sure you all know, these examples are only the tip of a very large iceberg of criminality and treason. Read all of this one; the discussion which follows—of Jonathan Mayhew’s 1750 “Higher Law” sermon, which would become the intellectual lynchpin of the American Revolution—is well worth the price of admission itself. Now back to our own lawless brigands.

If Knowlton’s contention that a police officer said he could go in is true, it vitiates all these charges, and Knowlton’s claim is certainly corroborated by photographic and video evidence of cops at the Capitol opening gates, holding the doors open for protestors, and reports that police even posed for selfies with protestors.

Oh, it does far more than vitiate them; it refutes them utterly, revealing for all to see contra-Constitutional of the illegitimacy of the US Superstate. Also, when the FBI raided Knowlton’s home, they found no evidence whatsoever “concerning the breach and unlawful entry” of the Capitol, or “of any conspiracy, planning, or preparation,” or “maps or diagrams” of the Capitol, or of any “materials, devices, or tools” that Knowlton might have planned to use to get inside.

So why is the government pursuing Knowlton with such ferocity?

Because the Ruling Class of any dictatorship simply cannot afford to let dissent and protest flourish unmolested; it must be ruthlessly crushed without delay, lest it become widespread enough to eventually be a credible threat to them. Increasing (and increasingly strident) political dissent, then a Resistance movement to the tyrannous government, resulting in the immediate, excessive response from the tyrants, are markers indicating progress along History’s path. Team Liberty today is farther along that path than it may think, but definitely not nearly as far as we probably should be.

The most bitter irony of our time is two-fold: first, the ugly spectacle of government officials making a show of solemnly swearing an oath they have no intention of honoring, to protect and defend a Constitution they have no affection for or allegiance to. Second, the irksome annual midsummer orgy of seal-like barking, peacock-like strutting, and self-congratulatory “celebration of Muh Freedumbs!” by the same clueless ignorami who mindlessly assist in the forging of the very chains that bind and subdue them—chains whose loud clanking they mulishly refuse to hear.

Imagine a country that imprisons peaceful protestors on false charges of participating in an attempt to overthrow the government, as part of efforts to discredit and ultimately criminalize all opposition to the ruling party’s agenda.

Don’t need to “imagine,” Robert; we’re living in one. Amerika v2.0 today evinces nearly every telltale characteristic and/or condition that, taken altogether, explicitly define the word tyranny. There are but a steadily-dwindling few of those boxes left to be ticked off. As far as we know, I mean.

People who entered a public building when police held the door open for them are being held in solitary confinement and given draconian punishments far out of proportion to what they actually did. This is the sort of thing that happens in Third World countries, right? This is the sort of thing tinpot dictators do in banana republics, where the rulers gained power by underhanded means and have no respect for due process, the rule of law, or the rights of their citizens — right?

Well, yes, of course it is. It all has an extremely familiar ring to it, like the chorus of an old favorite song you haven’t heard in years and whose lyrics you can’t quite retrieve from the mists of memory, as well it should.

In America, we no longer have a single justice system for all people, regardless of race, or of power, or privilege, or the protected victimhood status they may have among the Leftist intelligentsia. We no longer have a justice system that is indifferent to and independent of political pressure. The politically and culturally dominant Left is not content with the massive power and influence it wields now; it is determined to silence all opposition and destroy it utterly.

And they’re very near now to successful realization of ALL their ambition, in full. Which is why the people must very soon rise up to bring them down utterly, using any and all means. We long ago failed to acknowledge the deadly threat they represent; for a long age, we averted our gaze as the cancer metastasized, undermined, and doubled and redoubled its deadly power. Now, thanks to our own sloth and self-deception, instead of swatting a mosquito in order to remove a mere nuisance, we must destroy an overgrown, hulking monster—a fearful Juggernaut whose strength and capabilities have waxed to the full, while our own have waned.

If this be treason, make the most of it. And may God grant that we prove able to live up to our forebears’ example.

Courting the ban-hammer

A bit of background will be needed on this one, folks. To wit:

Way back when Twitter first got cranked up, I was persuaded by a lovely and charming lady friend from the halcyon days when we were both working at the venerable and now-defunct Cheap Jack’s vintage clothing store on Broadway near Union Square—Heather by name, now residing in northern Califruitopia a stone’s throw from Sacramento, or she was last I heard anyways—to procure myself both a Twatter and a LinkedIn account, the better for us to keep in touch with. Never once have I bothered using either of them, although naturally I still receive multiple annoying e-mails from them every single damned day—along with same-same from Imgur, which outfit to my sure and certain knowledge I have never signed up for at all.

That said, I have now been driven to Tweet my first Tweet.

A Massachusetts liberal activist visiting his parents in Merrimack, New Hampshire over the Thanksgiving holiday had a meltdown over a gun store’s window display that features posters criticizing Joe Biden, Dianne Feinstein and Anthony Fauci, calling the display a “call to violence.” Nothing in the display explicitly or implicitly calls for violence. Apparently however, exercising First and Second Amendment rights is seen as a call to violence by this liberal activist.

Ben Jackson, a writer and producer who works with actress Alyssa Milano on her Sorry Not Sorry podcast, posted a photo of the store, 619DW Guns & Ammo, with the statement, “This is the gun shop in my parents town. Don’t fucking tell me this isn’t a call to violence. Don’t tell me gun culture isn’t sick to its very core. #NoRA #MerrimackNH #NHPolitics”

Jackson was further triggered by Guns & Ammo’s requirement that patron not wear masks in the store, posting a photo a sign in the door that reads, “Stop & Read: We Draw Guns on Masked Visitors – Take Your Mask Off before Entering.”

This is not the first time 619DW Gun & Ammo triggered liberals over their window display. A poster of Barack Obama captioned “Firearms Salesman of the Year” drew complaints in 2013.

Sounds like my kind of gun store. In my inaugural Twat, unfortunately, I totes forgot to include the appropriate “hashtags,” which are apparently de rigeur in that little demi-monde, I guess: #ComeAndTakeThem, #AnyTimeYouFeelFroggy, #CryMeARiverShitlibs, #BulletsFirst.

Something to be thankful for

Not just one but TWO (2) proctologically-thorough, hilariously unconstrained fiskings in the inimitable Correia style, the first on L’Affaire Rittenhouse. Towards the close is when the shell is finally cracked to expose the nut of the whole ugly issue.

and may we find a way to get on common ground before more fuses to this powder keg are lit.

-The shit head arguing in favor of fiery riots is upset that the rule of law won out over jury intimidation, and he wants to chide us about “common ground”. We have no ground in common. Your fuckers are the ones who keep lighting the powder kegs, then you get butt hurt when somebody shoots them rather than getting blown up.
 
Basically guys, all the outrage over this trial is because the left is terrified of losing another tool in their toolbox. They love lawless mobs terrorizing you and wrecking your stuff. They love having you too scared of the system to stand up to their dirtbags. So that’s why they are lying their asses off and shedding fake tears for pedophile scum. The jury’s decision didn’t just say Rittenhouse was not guilty, but by extension, it says their useful idiot rioters were guilty, which damages the narrative. And anytime the truth goes against the narrative, the truth gets a bullet to the back of the neck.

The problem the left ran into this time in the court of public opinion was that all of the actual facts of the case were out there for anyone to see. (I really recommend Rekieta Law, who had phenomenal and entertaining coverage with lawyers watching the live stream. I was glued to it for much of the trial). So with the independent media doing the job that regular media won’t, it’s tougher for dishonest fucks like this to spread their lies.

But gullible people still listen to the media and the blue check marks, which was why they were heartbroken on Friday. If you actually believed the narrative nonsense, this case seems like a travesty.

The losing-a-tool notion I’m fully down with, but there’s another angle worth looking at here. I think the thing that wadded their Underoos more excruciatingly tight than anything else is easy-peasy, simple as pie: Teh Sacred Narrative™ was defied, in all sorts of ways, and quite successfully at that. And that, my friends, simply does not fly in Progtardia—not today, not tomorrow, not EVER.

In our second installment, Correia brings the cannonade to bear on a commenter he graciously refers to as “someone I honestly believe means well,” after said someone had accused Larry thusly and to wit:

The assholes on the left might be your enemy, but I don’t think that the entirety of ‘the left’ needs to be.

It worked out for this poor unthinking schlub about how you’d expect.

If the majority of the left aren’t my enemy, the burden of proof is on them, because frankly I haven’t seen jack shit from most of them beyond paying lip service to principles, as the rest of their fellows go about doing whatever horrible thing they feel like, and the ones who claim to be moral sit there silently and let them.

I do paint with a broad brush about the left, because democrats who stand up against leftist insanity are a tiny minority.

Then I get to listen to people like you, who are probably honestly decent people, tell me that you’re not all insane… Great. SHOW ME.

My liberal friends (and yes, I do have a few still, though most tossed me under the bus as soon as there was any societal pressure to do so) will constantly chide me about my words, or my attitude, and go tsk tsk, how rude! But then when people on their side go bat shit fucking insane, they sit there meekly and stand for nothing, because they know the beast they fed will just as easily turn and eat them too.

Besides, as soon as a democrat stands for principle outside of the narrative, they get tossed. Pick any of them in media, punditry, or academia. Any at all. Glenn Greenwald. Tim Pool. Jordan Peterson. Those were all mushy moderates, until they say hey wait, the left is going nuts, and boom, now the left thinks they are the second coming of Satan-Hitler. The party is currently enraged at Sinema and Manchin.

And I’m not alone in this. Most politically alert non-leftists will tell you the same thing. You belong to a cult which will not abide heresy. You want to show us that you aren’t all authoritarian statist trash, DO SOMETHING.

That, basically, is the executive summary. Larry goes on from there to quickly confirm that he was merely clearing his throat, cracking his knuckles, and generally limbering up before getting down to serious business.

Okay. Now for some expounding. Of course not everyone on the left is the same. It’s a big tent. There’s old fashioned liberals, who though they believe in stupid backwards policies, usually tend to have good but naïve intentions. Then there are the progressives, who are basically communist puritans who are actively trying to destroy America. Then there’s the news media, which is just pure Satanic evil. There are also useful idiot NPCs who don’t really have any belief system at all, who just repeat whatever script they are fed that day.

I can say equally insulting things about the right. We’re a big dumb tent too. It ranges from liberty minded people to authoritarians. We even let stupid Mitt Romney in it for some baffling and inexplicable reason. Many in the GOP are trash grifters or NRO cruise ship snobs. However, even though the most loathsome of republicans are corrupt, lazy, shiftless, and stupid, they usually aren’t trying to actively destroy the country.

The worst of both sides are the proverbial swamp creatures. And whether you loved Trump or hated him, there’s no denying that there’s a bloated, elitist, co-dependent bureaucrat/academic/pundit class whose primary motivation is getting and keeping more power for themselves.

So of these various competing factions, why do I typically paint the left with a broad brush?

Because you fucking deserve it.

I see the right fight with itself constantly. The right is its own worst enemy in that respect. That’s why there’s always the joke about republicans snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Too many of them are passive wusses who wish to maintain the status quo. Their ultimate achievement is to lose with dignity.

The left however gets shit done, because they always put aside their differences and work toward whatever goal their elite wants. This is effective, but also what makes them despicable.

For this next part I’m not talking about the politicians or the punditry. Those guys pick a narrative, no matter how false it may be, and they fucking PUSH. They run with that narrative until it absolutely collapses, then they make up a new narrative and run with it instead.

No. I’m talking about YOU. Regular people. Voters. The guy next door. The masses on the internet. Just average joes. Democrats. Libs. Whatever you call yourself. Anybody who identifies as being on the left.

When your leaders pick a narrative, you drink that Kool-Aid. Even if it’s shit flavored Kool-Aid, most of you smile and tell us it’s the best fucking Kool-Aid you’ve ever tasted. It’s milk from the teat of a magic cherry flavored Unicorn. Nope. It’s shit. You all know it’s shit. But you go along with the narrative anyway.

When the insane progs among you lie their asses off, I’m talking blatant, easily disproven, painfully ham-fisted, fucking LIES…Do you call them out? Do you say, “hang on guys, that’s a little nuts”. Because if you do, the rest of us sure as fuck don’t ever see it. Pick a topic, any topic. It’s always the same.

When people nominally on your side are saying crazy, vile, violent, wacky shit on the internet…do you jump in? When I go out on Twitter yesterday and I find hundreds of posts from fucking scumbags dancing in blood, how come I didn’t see comments from Caring Liberals condemning them? (hell when some prog wrote that an evil motherfucker running over 50 people was karma and that Wisconsin DESERVED it, and I condemned them for it, Facebook banned me for “bullying and hate speech”. Fucking good. That was my 9th 30 day. One more I think I get a free yogurt.)

Anytime there is a breaking news story, there will be legions of howling leftists, and blue check mark idiots, lying their asses off and saying the most horrific things imaginable. And since they literally own social media, they get an official pass while the uppity on the right get officially squashed. We’ve all seen it. From trending hash tags that mysterious vanish, shadow bans, to ultra-biased fact checkers, to Youtube demonetizing wrong thinkers or even getting rid of the thumbs down button.

Yet as your fellow travelers are saying all this horrid shit, where are you? You’re supposedly sane. You claim to have a voice of moderation, but it must be a whisper because we certainly can’t hear it.

And if THAT lengthy excerpt isn’t enough to persuade you to hie thyself thither and Read of it the All, well, I just don’t know what I’m supposed to do with you. Because it only gets more rollicking, more rowdy, more just plain old-fashioned fun from there, most definitely including his pithy description of social media as “…a constant barrage of Common Internet Shit Gibbons.” What can one possibly say about such incandescent brilliance but: “Heh. Indeed.”
