Digging a hole, digging a hole, digging a hole

Too, too funny.

After Being Completely Exposed by Its Own Editor, NPR Responds in the Worst Possible Fashion
On Tuesday, a 25-year veteran of NPR who still serves as an editor at the outlet thoroughly exposed the left-wing network’s bias and its attempt to quash stories inconvenient to the Democratic Party. In a self-written article, Uri Berliner laid out multiple examples of how NPR has heavily skewed its news coverage while allowing essentially no viewpoint diversity in the newsroom.

Some examples Berliner gave included the “news” organization’s coverage of the COVID-19 origins, the Russian collusion hoax involving Donald Trump, and the Hunter Biden laptop story.

No worries, though. I’m happy to inform you that NPR has told NPR that NPR is doing just fine. That includes a doubling down on the DEI regiment that has led the network to reduced viewership and a cratering of its credibility.

NPR’s chief news executive, Edith Chapin, wrote in a memo to staff Tuesday afternoon that she and the news leadership team strongly reject Berliner’s assessment.

“We’re proud to stand behind the exceptional work that our desks and shows do to cover a wide range of challenging stories,” she wrote. “We believe that inclusion — among our staff, with our sourcing, and in our overall coverage — is critical to telling the nuanced stories of this country and our world.”

Without realizing it, Chapin has just admitted the primary problem with forcing “inclusion” by way of racially-based diversity quotas. Doing so does not lead to an increased range of viewpoints. Instead, because DEI is exclusively a left-wing pursuit, it leads to an overabundance of the same viewpoints in the newsroom. Far from being “critical to telling the nuanced stories of this country and our world,” it has led to NPR having no nuance in its reporting, instead parroting whatever its far-left staffers agree on.

The NPR article responding to Berliner goes on to miss the point yet again by bragging about how four out of 10 staffers are “people of color.”

In recent years, NPR has greatly enhanced the percentage of people of color in its workforce and its executive ranks. Four out of 10 staffers are people of color; nearly half of NPR’s leadership team identifies as Black, Asian or Latino.

It’s like talking to a wall. They just can’t grasp how stocking the newsroom with DEI hires instead of hires based on actual viewpoint diversity could possibly lead to the outcome Berliner exposed in his piece.

It’s LIKE talking to a wall because it IS talking to a wall; shitlibs never listen, they only ever double down, again and again and again, no matter what. It’s all they know to do, almost as if “smug,” “stubborn,” and “irrational” were hard-coded in their DNA or something. Because hey, they’re smarterer than you stupid troglodytes, see. If you don’t believe it, just ask ’em, they’ll tell ya…at excruciating length, they will.

Damn fools about it

As Wellington said after Waterloo: “They came on in the same old way, and we sent them back in the same old way.” Or, as WC Fields said: “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try, again. Then quit. There’s no use in being a damn fool about it.”

S’truth. And yet.

Woke Extremist Minneapolis City Council Demands $30.60/Hour Minimum Wage for Uber and Lyft Drivers; Uber and Lyft Both Announce They Will Abandon Minneapolis
Faced with public anger about driving out the popular ride-share services, the woke extremists of the city council say they may delay when the order goes into effect.

But they’re only doing that to allow other ride-share companies — are there any? — to enter the Minneapolis market.

By the way, I base the headline claim of a $30.60 per hour minimum wage on the city council’s demand that drivers be paid a minimum 51 cents per minute when ferrying passengers.

California recently imposed a $20/hour minimum wage for fast food workers. There’s now a $16/hour minimum wage for all other jobs.

Companies immediately began firing workers and closing down stores.

A pizza chain announced the closure of five stores in California.

Analysts forecast that this law will gift California with increased unemployment for years.

That’s putting it in the best possible light.

And there you have it. As Billy Pilgrim said: “All this happened, more or less.” And so it goes.

Animals

Sadly, all too many of us seem terribly confused of late as to who the enemy really is. PRO TIP: it is NOT Israel and/or ((((Dem pesky JOOOOOOZ!!!))).

“A Palestinian writer”
The above tweet from Amnesty International is still up. In case it disappears, here is the text:

Amnesty International
@amnesty
The death in custody of Walid Daqqa, a 62-year-old Palestinian writer who was the longest-serving Palestinian prisoner in Israeli jails after 38 years of imprisonment, is a cruel reminder of Israel’s disregard for Palestinians’ right to life

The tweet calls Walid Daqqa “a Palestinian writer”, as if he had been imprisoned for his writings – as if he were the sort of prisoner of conscience on whose behalf I used to write letters on that special blue Air Mail paper, back when I was a member of Amnesty International.

To be fair, although you would never guess it from their tweet, the linked article by Amnesty does make perfunctory mention of the non-literary crime that caused Walid Daqqa to be put in prison:

On 25 March 1986, Israeli forces arrested Walid Daqqah, then 24, a Palestinian citizen of Israel. In March 1987, an Israeli military court sentenced him to life imprisonment after convicting him of commanding the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP)-affiliated group that had abducted and killed Israeli soldier Moshe Tamam in 1984.

Perhaps concerned about her wordcount, Amnesty’s writer, Erika Guevara-Rosas, did not say much about Moshe Tamam. She cited Walid Daqqa’s youthful age at the time, 24, but did not see fit to say that his victim Moshe Tamam was just 19. And she skips over some relevant details in that brief word “killed”. Daqqa and his PFLP comrades did not just kill Moshe Tamam, they tortured him to death. They gouged out his eyes and castrated him. Then they murdered him.

Sick fucks. But, if we can tear ourselves away from weeping, wailing, and gnashing our teeth for the “over 30,000 innocent civilians” Hamas speciously claims have been killed by the IDF in Gaza—FOR NO REASON, THE INHUMAN BRUTES!—for just a moment, it’s plain that the loathsome Walid Daqqah is hardly an outlier, a grotesque exception, but perfectly typical of his vile cohort.

Hamas Treats Captive Israeli Women as Animals — for ‘All Are Ridden’
The Hamas terrorists behind the Oct. 7, 2023, jihadist raid literally view their female Israeli captives as horses and other animals — to be “ridden.”

During a recent press conference, IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari stressed that Hamas members could be heard in their own (now captured) recordings referring to their female captives as sabi (or sabiya), an Arabic word that in Islamic jurisprudence refers to non-Muslim female slaves, whom Muslim men could freely copulate with — in a word, concubines (see here for more on sabis).

Sex slavery is not only an ironclad aspect of Islam; it is a reflection of “piety,” as well captured by a 2015 report:

In the moments before he raped the 12-year-old [non-Muslim] girl, the Islamic State fighter took the time to explain that what he was about to do was not a sin. Because the preteen girl practiced a religion other than Islam, the Quran not only gave him the right to rape her — it condoned and encouraged it, he insisted.

“He said that by raping me,” recalled the 12-year-old, “he is drawing closer to God.”

“Every time that he came to rape me, he would pray,” explained another girl, aged 15. “He said that raping me is his prayer to God. I said to him, ‘What you’re doing to me is wrong, and it will not bring you closer to God.’ And he said, ‘No, it’s allowed. It’s halal.’”

Seeing rape as a pious gesture is only one of the “oddities” of Islamic sex slavery. In the same press conference, Hagari said that “Hamas treated young women…like animals” and that one terrorist could be heard describing “a woman as a noble mare.”

No doubt, to most (non-Muslim) readers, references to Israelis as animals are a mere reflection of Hamas’s contempt for its “infidel” victims, nothing more.

Mind you, this mind-bending abuse is NOT to be inflicted on Israeli women exclusively, nor even on Jewish females more generally. No, this bestial savagery is Koran-endorsed treatment for ALL “infidel” women, all over the world, as non-Islamic nations inevitably are brought under the sway of Mooselimb rule.

As the article describes, for Moslem males raping “infidel” women of any age is not only permissible, it is actually commendable, taking on the aspect of an act of religious devotion—a divine gesture of pious, reverential obeisance to their fucked-up Murder God.

I repeat: SICK. FUCKS.

Anyone who sincerely believes that ((((Dem JOOJOOJOOJOOOOZ!!)))) are the primary problem confronting Western Civ is refusing to see the forest for the trees, sorry. Hell, most American Jews are more or less atheists anyway—call ‘em JINOs, perhaps, Jewish by ethnic inheritance rather than avowed faith—not being religiously observant, nor even somewhat interested.

No, the primary problem is that, by a huge majority, the religion practiced by American Jewry is liberal/Leftism. Don’t ask me why that is; given, y’know, pretty much all of recorded history, I find it quite perplexing myself.

Be that as it may, though, the essential fact remains: even if you exterminated and/or expelled every last Jew in the US tomorrow—the secular, the way more conservative Orthodox, the ultra-hardass Lubavitchers* alike—you’d be astonished and dismayed the day after that by how very little change would’ve resulted from your longed-for Final Solution. Alas, appalling numbers of shitlibs/Progressivists/Leftards/whatever would remain, along with all the strife, trouble, and woe they cause.

In a nutshell, then, what the Hebe-hatin’ Right are fond of deploring as “the Jewish problem” is not, in fact, much of a problem at all. It’s merely a distraction, a sideshow which draws attention away from the Main Enemy: collectivism, Statism, Leftism, whatever label you wish to slap on it. And, of course, the jihadist plague the Leftards have imported and encouraged, which now flourishes in our very midst.

It beggars belief that the memory of 9/11/01 could have been as thoroughly expunged from American minds as this nonsensical folly suggests. The disgraceful embrace of the plethora of preposterous, repeatedly debunked conspiracy theories on the subject must have been more widespread than sensible sorts feared.

Islam is no more compatible with ordered liberty, individual self-determination, and the rest of our Founding principles than liberal/Leftism is; they are diametrically (triametrically?) opposed, eternally in conflict, irreconcilable and antipodean in both practical and philosophical terms. Lose sight of that fundamental home truth, and you will surely lose everything ere the end.

* As it happens, I lived amongst the Lubavitchers my last cpl-three years in NYC; in fact, the apartment we lived in was over a shul, owned by a young Lubavitcher congregant named Mike to whom the building had been passed down as sort of an early, pre-death inheritance from his father. What a trip the Lubavitchers were, with the big hats; the long, heavy black overcoats worn year-round, even in the stifling August heat; the payess, which are those funny-looking spiral locks hanging down like overgrown sideburns or something; the rocking, swaying, and bobbing as they read from the Tanya, prayed, and sang their, uhhh, hymns (?) out on the sidewalk after synagogue let out. Strange stuff indeed for a Carolina boy who had only ever known one (1) Jew his entire life before traipsing off to NYC, definitely. Really nice folks once you got to know ‘em, though

What? NOAA Graph Shows CO2 Is Not the Villain
Since the 1970s, we’ve been told CO2 is the villain that causes most climate change. NOAA obliterated that with a graph.

Some men think they can do better than nature.

“The amount of CO2 in the atmosphere today is comparable to around 4.3 million years ago when sea level was about 75 ft higher than today, the average temp was 7 degrees F higher than in pre-industrial times, & large forests occupied areas of the Arctic that are now tundra,” NOAA reports.

So, there were no people, the sea level was higher, and there were forests on the now-frozen tundra.

We’ve been sold a bill of goods.

Oh, have we ever. Follows, the charts which back it up in Tweet format, then a brief review of the origins of what I call the Church of AlGore—all of which establish that the whole thing was and is really about the same old things it always is: money, and power.

Update! Calls for another rerun of this George Carlin classic, I do believe.

For a Lefty, pretty much, ol’ George could be pretty damned smart at times.

The FauxVid fraud

Rand Paul nails ‘em to the wall AGAIN.

The Great COVID Cover-up: Shocking truth about Wuhan and 15 federal agencies
Shame on all the federal employees who covered up these facts about COVID-19

How vast was the Great COVID Cover-up? Well, my investigation has recently discovered government officials from 15 federal agencies knew in 2018 that the Wuhan Institute of Virology was trying to create a coronavirus like COVID-19.

These officials knew that the Chinese lab was proposing to create a COVID 19-like virus and not one of these officials revealed this scheme to the public. In fact, 15 agencies with knowledge of this project have continuously refused to release any information concerning this alarming and dangerous research.

Government officials representing at least 15 federal agencies were briefed on a project proposed by Peter Daszak’s EcoHealth Alliance and the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Read all of it; penned by the highly esteemed Sen Paul himself, the man knows whereof he speaks and takes it all the way down to the nuts and bolts of the issue. Bottom line: 1) FauxVid was actually not “Chinese CoVid,” but “US Covid,” bought and paid for entirely by FederalGovCo; and 2) Fauci is, as some of us have said all along, the most prolific mass-murderer in human history—willfully so, as is definitionally required for the charge of murder to apply.

It is not merely “unfortunate” or “regrettable” that none of the truly evil blackguards responsible will ever pay a price for their myriad crimes against humanity, it’s an atrocity.

If at first they don’t succeed…

If you thought there was any end to shitlib stupidity, that there simply had to be some point at which the perfidious chowderheads would smack their foreheads and mutter to themselves, “DAYUMM, this isn’t working! Could it be that we’re at fault here—that, instead of doubling down again and again on each successive failure, it might be time for us to rethink our basic premises?” PRO TIP: There isn’t, and they won’t.

San Francisco Bill Would Let People Sue Grocery Stores for Closing Too Quickly
A proposed ordinance would empower people to sue supermarkets that close without giving the city six months’ advance notice.

The San Francisco Board of Supervisors is considering a remarkable policy that would allow people to sue grocery stores that close too quickly.

Earlier this week, Supervisors Dean Preston and Aaron Peskin introduced an ordinance that, if passed, would require grocery stores to provide six months’ written notice to the city before closing down.

Supermarket operators would also have to make “good faith” efforts to ensure the continued availability of groceries at their shuttered location, either through finding a successor store, helping residents form a grocery co-op, or any other plan they might work out by meeting with city and neighborhood residents.

Lest one thinks this is some heavy-handed City Hall intervention, the ordinance makes clear that owners still retain the ultimate power to close their store. It also creates a number of exemptions to the six-month notice requirement. If a store is closing because of a natural disaster or business circumstances that aren’t “reasonably foreseeable,” it doesn’t have to provide the full six months’ notice.

Still, should stores close without providing the proper notice, persons affected by the closure would be entitled to sue the closed store for damages.

Preston has been floating this ordinance since January when a Safeway in the city’s Fillmore neighborhood announced it was closing before city officials intervened to keep it open a little longer. The policy itself is decades old.

In 1984, the board of supervisors passed an identical policy to what Preston and Peskin are proposing now, but it was vetoed by then-Mayor Dianne Feinstein. At the time, Feinstein described the policy as “an unnecessary intrusion of governmental regulatory authority.”

Ahhh, 1984—as in, the title of Orwell’s how-to manual for contemporary “liberals,” now superceded and kinda quaint. How perfectly apropos.

Preston is more comfortable with the intrusion.

Of course he is. Gee, color me shocked—SHOCKED!

“It was a good idea then, and it’s an even better idea now,” he told the San Francisco Chronicle in January.

Obviously so. I mean, any fool can see that it’s been working out so nicely for all concerned up to this point; it’s just that the original scheme didn’t go far enough, that’s all. I blame Trump, myself. Even way back when, the Orange Man was nothing but a garden-variety shitstirrer.

“We need notice, we need transparency, community input, and a transition plan when major neighborhood grocery stores plan to shut their doors.”

Know what you really need? To get government’s meddlesome mitts out of affairs not properly its own, and let private citizens engage in commerce with honest vendors as, when, and how they prefer, in accordance with A) their own free choice, and B) the laws of supply and demand.

Yeah, I know, in SF (symbolic capital of Amerika v2.0) that’s just crazy talk.

“Transparency, community input, and a transition plan.” Anybody besides me wondering just where the owner’s and/or shareholders’ needs might come into play here? Or, for the matter of it, be taken into consideration at all?

Whatever the impact of this proposed policy, it does provide a telling insight into just how much micromanagement San Francisco politicians think their city needs.

HATE SPEECH! HAAATE SPEEEEECH!! QUICK, SOMEONE ARREST THAT MAN AND LOCK HIM UP FOR TREASON, INSURRECTION, THREATENING OUR SACRED DEMOCRACY, SOMETHING!!!

In dreams

Dave Renegade has hisself a wild one.

Since the individual states determine their election process under Article II, Section 1 for the President, the method of choosing representatives to vote in the electoral college does not stipulate whether the process is suspended if elections are suspended. As with most people (including me) in the country, this seemed a weak argument in a government ruled by a Deep State tyranny.

The time frame of the dream was just after the ad hoc elections were held. I got the impression that not all states participated. However, the news broke in the dream that the state of Georgia recognized the results of this elections and would send representatives to Washington, D.C. to vote for the new President.

Another dream where I had never imagined the scenario previously (including the winner of the Georgia election – Ron Paul). In this dream, people were wondering how many states would be required to send representatives to the electoral college to be valid? Could one state determine the President if no other states participated? I did get the impression that there were other states that had elections and were considering validating their legitimacy.

While this is just a dream, I would give favorable odds that there will not be an election for President this year. Does it matter whether martial law is declared and elections are suspended or if the overthrown Republic is officially declared to be dissolved? Elections will never restore Liberty once tyranny assumes control.

Yup. Which is why, as I’ve always insisted, the Uniparty/Swamp critters have no interest whatsoever in cancelling them. Why on earth would they, after all, when Amerika v2.0’s current system of sham “elections” is working so nicely for them?

Think it over, people: they’ve gotten the whole sordid mess down to a science at this point, so cancelling the 2024 “elections,” or any later ones for the foreseeable future, can conceivably do them nothing but harm. Such a needless move would expose the flim-flam for what it really is, beyond even the most stubborn, starry-eyed Pollyanna’s ability to ignore or deny. It would be the ripping-off-of-the-mask to end all ripping-off of masks, surely, and could only lead to people asking themselves questions and thinking thoughts The Power would infinitely prefer they didn’t.

Cancel the “elections”? Real Americans should only be so lucky. As stupid, inept, and overly bold as they no doubt are, I see no sign that TPTB are quite THAT far gone in suicidal folly just yet. Jack Nicholson’s unforgettable quote regarding comfortable but ultimately hopeless dreams, from the grotesquely underappreciated Going South, fits in nicely here, I think.

Henry Moon: That’s it – for me. I’m too young to die.

Julia Tate: You don’t understand.

Henry Moon: I understand about dreams. I understand about wakin’ up, too. Didn’t I want to ride with the Younger Gang and they wouldn’t have me? Claimed I wasn’t cut out to be a Younger. My feelin’s was hurt, but I accepted it.

I bolded the apposite line, so’s none of y’all fine folks would miss my meaning. There’s a truly vital lesson tucked away therein, and some damned good advice too.

Man, FUCK these filthy dirtbags all to Hell and gone, until their anguished cries of pain make the welkin ring.

BLM Continues to Try to Destroy Free Speech Rights of Kyle Rittenhouse — Protests Erupt at WKU (Watch)
The video below shows Black Lives Matter protesting Kyle Rittenhouse’s slated speech at Western Kentucky University. Take a moment to watch. We’ll wait.

It’s no secret the Left hates free speech, but they really don’t hide it anymore. As the video references, they recently succeeded in overrunning one of his speaking events in Memphis; unfortunately, to this writer’s mind, this has only spurred them on.

It seems most of X agrees.

Follows, this screencap of a low-to-no IQ lardass hilariously self-beclowning via her extravagantly stupid little sign memorializing Kyle’s predatory, violent “victims.”

The inescapable conclusion.

No matter how you may feel about Mr. Rittenhouse, on November 19th, in the year of our Lord two thousand twenty-one, he was adjudicated not guilty and, therefore, still has all of the same civil liberties as every other American.

In this writer’s opinion, the ‘outrage inc’ culture we’ve built in this country needs to go the way of the Woolly Mammoth if we have any hope of remaining a free people.

Yeah, well, it “needs to” right enough. That said, Real Americans shouldn’t oughta be waiting around for another world-altering meteor strike or some other galactic cataclysm to take care of the heavy lifting for us. Unfortunately, though, that looks more and more like yet another of those notorious Jobs Americans Just Won’t Do. Perhaps enacting legislation strictly mandating the execution of stupid people…

Happy Day of Worshipping Visible Transgender cultists, Xtianist swine!

As promised, further examination of the ruling “Joe Biden” junta’s Satanic Easter edicts.

Good morning, kids. You’d think the stories over this weekend were just one big April Fool’s joke, and if you are of a certain age and more crucially of a certain mindset – that is, sane – the headlines would certainly come across that way. But, they’re not. And not just from this past weekend but really they’ve become more and more insane going back years.

This past weekend was the holiest on the Christian calendar. Easter. And yet the leadership of this nation, it’s figurehead being a senescent near-vegetable and criminal pervert, proved for all to see that there is indeed a war on Christianity and Judaism, and those who adhere to those twin pillars of real civilizational development. Or at the very least, those who reject the undeniable insanity of those who view themselves as gods and the absolute moral authority over this nation.

Example number one: Easter Sunday being transmogrified from the traditional recognition of the meaning of Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection into something that would be as enraging to Jesus as that of the moneychangers in the Temple 2,000 years ago.

Upon nailing his 95-year-old feces to the door of the church, the backlash against Biden’s apostasy was immediate, forcing whoever is changing his Depends and loading his teleprompter to issue a more or less traditional Good Friday greeting, albeit two days late.

No apologies or backtracking on this insult, though.

Said insult being the proscription against Xtianist-themed Easter eggs at the Stygian House’s annual children’s Easter egg-decorating festivities I went into here. Onwards.

Or how about this wonderful book in your toddler’s school library?

“This is My Vulva.” Made me think of the song I learned at that age nearly 60 years ago, “This is My Country.” That and the scene from Full Metal Jacket with the men parading around the barracks in their skivvies chanting “This is my rifle, this is my gun.” You may substitute the words as you wish.

So, no imagery of Jesus or Christianity on its holiest day. Why even have this event in the first place? The answer is simple: a display of raw power.

Annnnnd bingo. As always with these filthy blaggards, as I’ve said so very many times myself, sooner or later it all comes back around to that. JJ links to Wretchard’s brief blast.

“History doesn’t repeat itself, but it often rhymes,” Mark Twain observed. Joe Biden’s rebranding of Easter Sunday as the Transgender Day of Visibility can be understood as part of a long line of efforts to replace a religious observance with state-sponsored ersatz.

These ersatz systems could take the form of state-sponsored atheism, state-mandated religion or even a completely invented replacement cult, like the French Revolution’s Cult of Reason. What explains this secular obsession with religion? Henry Kissinger pointed out that the two most powerful forces in history are the Conqueror and the Prophet. “The Middle East has been the chrysalis of three of the world’s great religions. From its stern landscape have issued conquerors and prophets holding aloft banners of universal aspirations. Across its seemingly limitless horizons, empires have been established and fallen; absolute rulers have proclaimed themselves the embodiment of all power, only to disappear as if they had been mirages.”

From the historical perspective, there nothing more interesting to “secular” government than religion. China, for example, is officially atheist, but you may join any one of 5 registered faiths. It is sort of like buying a gun. Clearly religion is dangerous. While secular ideologues often say that “religion is based on fear” and empty superstition, they are obviously afraid of religion and it is the first thing they suppress. I call this the “ghost problem.” “God? I don’t believe in no God,” we say with our eyes flitting from side to side. Then how comes you is skeered? The ghost haunts us notwithstanding.

Conquerors and Prophets are among the two most powerful forces in history. The principle difference between the two is the time scale of their message. Conquerors live the lifespan of empires while Prophets exist on the scale of civilizations. Two thousand years later, the Conqueror still fears the empty tomb.

Fears it, hates it, despises it, seeks to crush its spirit and trample its corporeal incarnation underfoot. Just as it does all things good, honorable, ennobling, and decent. Always has, always will; t’was ever thus—this, in fact, is the essential nature of tyranny, its true face, now and forever, despite whatever skin-suit it might momentarily don to persuade wilfully self-blinded fools otherwise.

As JJ notes in closing, it’s April Fools Day all right, but this ain’t no joke.

Update! Via Dave Renegade: how many special “days” glorifying their particular affliction, dysfunction, and/or sexual kink do these weirdos need, anyway?

The White House is claiming the Republicans are making too much out of naming March 31st Transgender Day. When you look at the list of all the days LGBTQ+ has already claimed, like Lesbian Visibility Day, the problem that surfaces is that they have so many days while groups like the Irish have but one – St Patrick’s Day, while the Italians have Columbus Day. People who died in war get only one day – Memorial Day. There is only one day for the Japanese. The Germans get their Steuben Parade. The Polish get their one day – the Pulaski Day Parade.

There is Mother’s Day in May. There is Father’s Day in June. There is also Parents’ Day in July. But there are no parades, and there is no Parent’s Day Month., Now, the words MOTHER and FATHER are offensive.

Many people are starting to get angry because, for decades, various cultures have been given one day—that’s it. There are so many days that it seems that whatever distinction in the LGBTQ+ community gets its own parade. The name Easter Transgender Day when you have Transgender Awareness, Transgender Day of Remembrance seems like the agenda here is covertly to convert as many people as possible to LGBTQ+ to reduce the population. It clearly has the OPPOSITE effect, for instead of creating less discrimination, it divides society into distinct groups that pit one against another. As I have warned, dividing society by INDENTITY is the #2 cause of countries collapsing.

Armstrong posts a stunning graphic illustrating just how far down this dismal road we’ve come already. “Stunning” not as in “pretty” or “visually appealing,” mind.

Apparently the above is for reals, not intended as humor, hyperbole, or satirical exaggeration in any way. I didn’t investigate to confirm, and ain’t gonna bother. I DO know that at least some of those “days” are on the official calendar of various federal, state, and local governments, and whichever ones aren’t as of yet soon will be, no doubt.

Ultimately, the A to the rhetorical Q posed above can be found in our handy-dandy Mike’s Iron Laws reference section.

  • Another of Mike’s Iron Laws: You cannot placate the implacable, nor sate the insatiable. It’s a mistake to even try
  • Mike’s Iron Law for dealing with the Left: They will never be satisfied, no matter what you yield up to them

Which in turn brings another MIL into play.

  • Mike’s Iron Law #1: Never cede ANYTHING to the Left, not a single goddamned thing

Learn it, love it, live it…or be destroyed utterly by it ere the end. Francis reveals the proverbial man behind the curtain.

I’ve ranted before about how the politicization of transgenderism has transformed it from something most people could safely ignore into a fearsome threat. I return to this as frequently as I do because it’s a near-perfect “demonstrator.” That is, as a category of human oddity it perfectly exemplifies the venomous power of the State.

Before the politicization of homosexuality, heterosexuals – 97% of the population of the United States – largely tolerated homosexuals. Yes, there were exceptions, some of which were horrifying and deserved to be punished. But the prevailing attitude was of tolerance and the maintenance of a certain distance. In social and sexual matters, homosexuals constituted a separate society. If they weren’t perfectly comfortable with that status, nevertheless they found it bearable…as did the heterosexual majority.

Things are not better now.

Homosexuality…integration…polygamy and polyandry…illegitimacy and “single-parent” households…“non-binary” sexuality…transgenderism… One by one these things groped for and seized political power and moved from the sphere of tolerable aberrations – ones whose existence we could acknowledge without being moved to pogroms – to forces that threaten not only social peace but the probable future of this country. The “frontier” today is bestiality and pedophilia. If there’s anything more looming behind the horizon, I’m not sure I want to know.

Today there’s an envelope-movement wrapped around the above and a lot of other things: “diversity, equity, and inclusion” or DEI. This is an explicitly political movement that seeks to force Americans to surrender what remains of our freedom of association. It’s an important component of the movement to nullify, de facto, the guarantees of the First Amendment. I doubt I need tell you what will become of us if that goes into the trash bin.

…Miss Robinson isn’t quite “on the right page.” What’s in the process of felling “America as it was” is the State’s application of political power to all those things. I’ll grant that normal Americans ought never to have “blessed” those things – the usual incantation is “not that there’s anything wrong with that” – but we were able to bear their existence, as long as we were permitted to choose our own associates without fear of some politician or bureaucrat intruding into those decisions. Some persons were excluded from others’ businesses, neighborhoods, and societies…but peace reigned. There were no riots and no violent disruptions. There were no desecrations of religious ceremonies. There were no crowds of “protestors” harassing those who dared to dissent from the “tolerance uber alles” gospel preached today.

The difference is the ambition – already fulfilled by some; still hoped for by others – to enlist the power of the State on the side of the aberrant movement. The State is nearly always happy to cooperate. Power, after all, is a statist’s top priority at all times. And when power can be used to create conflicts among the State’s subjects that the State can use to increase and extend its power…need I say more?

***

There is no Last Graf. The solution is the elimination of the State and its abjuration for all time to come…which, for the moment at least, is impossible. Yet it is the only solution with any endurance.

The “progressive” assaults on individuals’ right to be left alone – the supreme right that underpins all other rights – have united under the DEI banner. If we are to retain any shred of our original freedom, it must be fought a outrance. For it is the State – the 88,000-plus governments that infest America – that presses it upon us. It is their best weapon, for now at least, for completing our subjugation.

Anarcho-tyranny always moves toward ever greater tyranny. And April 1 notwithstanding, all of the above is meant seriously.

Funny, innit? Why, one might almost think some kind of nefarious plot or something was behind this whole shower of shite. But naaah, that’s just crazy talk. Right? RIGHT?

RIGHT?!?

Guilty of being white

Y’all will remember the “White Culture” image I posted yesterday, I’m sure. Well, the pic was hijacked from a Bad Cattitude post which I only just finished reading today, which I think very much merits an excerpt.

how we got to here
how moral relativism destroyed sanity and how objectivity can bring it back

how did we break politics and academia and society to the point where the madmen are running the asylum and the joker has become police commissioner of gotham?

how have we descended to the point where mayors of major cities are suing car companies because “cars that dress like that are asking for it!”

we legalize crime, criminalize dissent, and elevate literal lunatics as luminaries and leaders.

everything sane and sound is under assault and the biggest problem these “intellectuals” see is that it is not being attacked hard enough.

the thing about crazy people is they tend to be so convinced of whatever they are afflicted by that they present as somehow trustworthy. they do not evince the cues of mendacity because they don’t feel like liars, they don’t know they are crazy or that they have succumbed to externalized identity. pile up enough of it and it starts to work like gaslighting. it starts to make you question your own sanity and makes it seem like maybe you’re the crazy one.

you aren’t.

it’s not wrong to want beauty and sanity and trust.

it’s wrong to despise them.

calling the ugly beautiful and the beautiful ugly is not progressive, it’s pathology. it’s the broken sputtering of a machine bent past use, the desperate grasping of desperate people devoid of virtue but endlessly covetous of its trappings and determined to burn the world if it means they get to have a little authority and power.

these are the failures elevated by mistaking protestations of marginalization and grievance for quality of character.

you can have objective morality and beauty or you can have abject failure and hideousness.

there’s really no middle way, no accommodation, no safe dosage.

No, there most certainly is not. In keeping with my “liberal/Leftism is a cancer on the body politic” theorem, it simply doesn’t pay to pussyfoot around with the shitlib sickness—you either eradicate it or succumb to it, there is no Third Way.

At risk of sounding like a broken record this evening, I can but say yet again: read the whole thing.

NBC hires milquetoast Vichy GOPe commentator, entire rest of roster has hissy fit

Andrew Stiles asks a question that answers itself.

What in the Actual F— Is Wrong With These People? (NBC News Edition)

Easy-peasy, Andrew: they’re Leftists, therefore completely deranged. Any further questions?

We regret to inform you that America’s journalists are in the midst of another temper tantrum. This one is in response to NBC News’s decision to hire former RNC chairwoman Ronna McDaniel as a paid contributor. The network’s own employees are in open revolt, incensed at the prospect of having to share screen time with a Republican who hasn’t completely disavowed Donald Trump.

NBC chief political analyst Chuck Todd, a former Democratic campaign aide, slammed NBC executives for hiring someone with “credibility issues” and a history of “gaslighting.” Democratic scion Mika Brzezinski urged the network to “reconsider its decision.” Host Kristen Welker issued a trigger warning over the weekend before airing her interview with McDaniel on Meet the Press. Nicolle Wallace read a passage from a book about tyranny and bemoaned the degradation of “our sacred airwaves.”

It wouldn’t be the first time so-called mainstream journalists have revealed themselves to be hopelessly out of touch with the average Americans they claim to care about. The partisan tantrum over McDaniel’s hiring suggests they are incapable of self-awareness.

Perhaps we can look forward to further discussion of this “scandal” on Inside with Jen Psaki, the MSNBC weekend show hosted by the former press secretary to Barack Obama and Joe Biden. Psaki could invite MSNBC contributor Robert Gibbs, another Obama press secretary, to share his thoughts on the matter. In the following segment, MSNBC contributor Ben Rhodes, the former Obama national security adviser who bragged about manipulating “clueless” reporters, could explain why McDaniel’s hiring is good for Iran.

Better yet, MSNBC host Joy Reid could deliver an unhinged monologue denouncing the network for endorsing “white supremacy.” Reid was promoted in 2020 to fill the time slot vacated by Chris Matthews, the former Democratic aide who argued it was racist to refer to Barack Obama as “Obama.” Matthews resigned abruptly after being accused of sexual harassment, whereas Reid did not resign after online sleuths uncovered bigoted posts on her old blog. She blamed it on hackers. (It wasn’t hackers.) She got promoted anyway.

Reid could continue the conversation with MSNBC political analyst Al Sharpton, the formerly obese racial agitator who instigated deadly anti-Semitic riots in New York City during the 1990s. Sharpton continues to use his platform on MSNBC to sow racial division. For example, he argued that criticizing Harvard president Claudine Gay, who resigned in disgrace earlier this year amid a flurry of scandals involving serial plagiarism and anti-Semitism on campus, was “an attack on every black woman in this country.”

This is the same network that hired Martin Bashir, who compared criticizing the IRS to using the n-word and ultimately resigned after inviting his viewers to defecate in Sarah Palin’s mouth. This is the network that employed Melissa Harris-Perry, best known for making fun of Mitt Romney’s adopted black grandchild, and Ed Schultz, best known for calling Laura Ingraham a “right-wing slut,” and Brian Williams, best known for lying about coming under fire in Iraq, and Touré Neblett, a 9/11 truther accused of sexual harassment who suggested Holocaust survivors benefited from “the power of whiteness.” The less said about former MSNBC host Keith Olbermann the better.

Said a mouthful there, buddy. Read on for more risible nonsense; Stiles’s closing ‘graph is a real day-maker, if you ask me.

No good Whites

Why they hate us. No, really. This is not a joke. At least, I don’t think it is. And if you do, and you laugh at it, then you’re a racist bigoted homophobic Domestic Terrorist©, and the FBI/Stasi tactical squad will doubtless be executing a Dynamic Entry at your house in 4…3…2…

Remember, all the above traits, habits, and preferences are considered to be very, very bad things by the demented, depraved Goosesteppin’ Left.

Moar “squatters rights”

Just another D卐M☭CRAT pogrom against the right to own property, that’s all it is or ever was.

The property takeovers are all over the country in the nation’s woke cities. The stories are legion.

“The homeowner wouldn’t talk with us on camera for fear of retaliation from those living on the property. When he asked them to leave they beat him up sending him to the hospital,” a Portland, Ore., TV reporter explained in 2022 after squatters took over a man’s home while he was away. “He hasn’t been back since but still pays $1,500 a month for the mortgage.”

A Portland man complained that he left town to take care of his ailing mother only to discover someone had squatted in his apartment and turned it into a drug den.

A New York woman attempted to get the squatters out of her childhood home, but she was arrested for unlawful eviction because in that state squatters seem to have more rights than she does. Now she believes the Queens authorities will not act before 30 days is up and that means the squatters will be considered official tenants. The frightened neighbors say they believe the squatters started renovating the home. The owner believes the squatters will succeed in “stealing my home.”

In Atlanta, a man trying to build affordable housing on a nine-acre lot has 30 squatters on his property. He allowed four people to live on it and take care of it while he was away, but when he came back from California, he found dozens of squatters on his property, many of them Antifa holdovers from the “Stop Cop City” protests. Now, the homeowner can’t evict them because COVID-era moratorium on evictions is still in effect.

A Seattle area man is attempting to get rid of a man known as a “serial squatter” out of his $2 million property and is attempting to shame him out. He hopes the tactic works before he has to spend more time and thousands more dollars on court costs and lawyers. The squatter owes him tens of thousands of dollars in back rent.

You’ve undoubtedly seen this guy, one of Joe Biden’s invading army of illegal aliens, who’s now encouraging squatting by telling la gente to invade houses and take them over. “We can invade a house in the U.S. What do you think of this new law?”

When did all of this start?

The left has been mining this “occupy” vein for quite some time. The idea behind it is that those mean old white colonists took other peoples’ property and exploited it, so now a new set of white colonists are taking over people’s private property because they’re more noble. The upshot is that they envy someone else’s property but are too lazy to work and buy it for themselves, so they just take it. This is supposedly striking a blow against gentrification. Others call it stealing.

The proof of concept is found in Occupy and “Occupation Zone” extortion scams.

Occupy, the left’s recruitment program for future Antifa/anarchist actions, popularized the takeover of other people’s property.

Occupy Wall Street in 2011 drew leftist activists from all over the globe to pitch tents and learn at the feet of Lisa Fithian how to organize, monkey wrench, destroy, and frame a narrative. Not to be outdone, Portland activists mirrored the movement, took over two downtown Portland parks, and presided over a disgusting campsite filled with overflowing toilets, drug dealers, anti-Semitic activists, and local union paymasters “supporting” the event. The city and the mayor allowed them to take over the parks, and at least one city council member joined them in protest marches. Got to stick it to the 1%, you know.

From this Portland organization came a subgroup whose objective was to “occupy” peoples’ homes that they felt were ripe for the taking.

Eventually, they began taking over parts of the city and calling them occupation zones.

Proving yet again something I’ve contended for many, many years: Give Leftists an inch, and they’ll eventually take everything you have (now the latest addition to Mike’s Iron Laws). In the above context, quite literally so. Leftism isn’t merely a competing ideology or a legitimate system of political beliefs and values in opposition to conservatism. It is actually a cancer on the body politic, always 100 percent fatal to any healthy polity, thus must be not “tolerated” or “defeated” but utterly destroyed.

Behind the scenes nuts ‘n’ bolts

Charlie Kirk provides them, on the Kyle Rittenhouse speech canceled by Goose-steppin’ Leftists.

For those who don’t want to bother with the annoying “Show more” link, Ace has helpfully posted a transcript.

The school has gone to incredible lengths to hamstring this event, including:

1 – Forcing us to change our ticketing system the day of the event. The university’s excuse is they want to ensure “fair and equitable” ticketing. This means the hundreds of students who thought they had tickets will not get in. This has never happened at one of our events.

2 – Protester groups were somehow tipped off about the school’s new ticketing system and the timing of when they’d be made available, allowing them to reserve large numbers of tickets to stage a walk out. We know this because our students are also in those group chats and alerted us. This also has never happened before.

3 – We had thousands of people register for tickets to this event, but the school would only give us a venue with 330 seat. No overflow. No larger venue.

4 – Our chapter president has been doxxed with his number and address published on social media. The campus police and school administrator shrugged their shoulders.

5 – The administration has said they cannot step in or ask protesters to leave if they attempt to disrupt the event or shout down Kyle.

6 – The school has allowed into the event the student that doxxed our chapter president, knowing this person was responsible for the doxxing.

7 – The protestors have entered the event and are taping the names of the people involved in Kyle Rittenhouse’s legal defense. The school is not stopping them.

This is what happens when school administrators pander to petulant children. You get chaos. Our brave students will press forward but this is unacceptable, especially in a Tennessee.

Memphis had record homicides last year, but apparently our students and Kyle Rittenhouse are the problem for the University of Memphis.

Ace also offers a little follow-on commentary:

Don’t worry, though: The violent suppression of speech by street paramilitaries tacitly supported by the ruling Regime, which will not be punished precisely because the Regime sponsors their violent actions, poses no threat to democracy whatsoever.

Only Trump saying “pussy” does.

Heh. Well, actually, it’s true that it poses no threat to the Goose-steppin’ Left’s version of “democracy,” yeah. Just, y’know, icky, deplorable, gun-loving Reichwingnut NaziHitlers like us, that’s all. Which provides some insight into why the Founding Fathers all hated and feared “democracy” so intensely.

Sometimes, it seems kinda hard not to look forward to the frabjous day when it’s finally time to start shooting the bastards, I admit.
