Got our number

Don’t look now—OVER THERE, A SQUIRREL!—but the Rooskies just confirmed that they take the old Biblical admonishment to “know thine enemy” very seriously indeed.

Needless to say, It’s not a ‘smiley face’ sort of situation.

His final words?

“So far, the finally degenerate Western political class is trying to raise the stakes in bloody clown horror. In a state of persistent dementia pushes our little world to the third world. The stoned Kiev regime is inciting the war to the last Ukrainian.”

A degenerate Western political class, foisting “bloody clown horror” on the rest of the world? A state of persistent dementia? Yep, I’d say this guy (Dmitry Medvedev, that would be, deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council) knows us extremely well; better than we know ourselves, from the looks of it. Meanwhile, back in “Keeeev” (just around the bend from “Pock-e-stahn,” in the preferred argot of obnoxiously smug former presidents, Western Enemedia “news” anchors, and other pretentious “citizen of the world” twits across the multiverse)…

Does that sound like a country that’s on ‘the back foot’ or ‘losing’? Not to me…Have the Russians had setbacks? Sure… part and parcel of war. HOWEVER The fucking moronic Krainians? They’re running out of people. The latest vidyas I’ve seen, from the Krainians themselves? The fucking ages of the ‘cruits and boots they got?

I’m younger than the majority of these guys.

I’m pretty sure if Grandpa is on the front line, yer in “Germany circa 1945” territory. I mean for real. 65 year old guys, in uniform, looking miserable? They should be at home but apparently Krainfeld is bound and determined to kill off every single male Krainian between the ages of 16 to 65.

Not that fucking faggot and his Kocaine Klown Krew are actually on the front lines…nope…he’s faaaar too much of a rock star. In fact I’m pretty sure he’s actually holed up where the green screens keep him looking like he’s still in the Kraine, as I have my doubts…hjuyhjfucking if anything, I highly encourage someone in the Kraine, or Putin himself, to put both the Kraine and us (the rest of the world population) first and put Krainfeld out of OUR collective misery.

I.E. drop a Kaliber on his fucking ass.

Fuck him.

Preferably where even dental records wouldn’t help with ID.

Jes’ Sayin;’

We could use a little dose of that particular prescription right here at home, I’m thinking. Maybe Putin might be, umm, persuadable on my nuke-DC proposal.

  1. Medvedev’s tough talk is merely shit-posting on a diplomatic scale.
Him saying it is not what the troops on the line are saying. Cell phone intercepts from the conscripts paint an entirely different story.

And the actual front lines, from neutral third-party (non-NATO and non-Russia buddies) observations, tell a far different tale than Medvedev’s bluster.

Putin just sacked another Ukrainian General-in-command, which is what? the eighth? tenth? (I’ve frankly lost track, and interest.) more? total of those he’s shit-canned since February last year…?!? This is not an army that’s “winning” anywhere either.

Call me when the Russians are moving in a forward gear again.

Ukraine is fielding second-line NATO equipment, Russia is hauling legacy shit from the 1950s out of museums and scrap heaps to refurb.

I told people from the get-go, both sides can lose, and Russia can’t win in any meaningful way, ever.
That does not, ergo, equate to Ukraine ever “winning”. (Anyone stumped by this concept should Google pictures from France after either World War to see how your enemy can lose, and yet you can still not be “winning”.)
The best Ukraine can hope for is to push Russia back to actual Russia, including out of Crimea, and make the lemon not worth the squeeze for the next century or two for a fifth Russian invasion of Ukrainian territory.

The best Russia can hope for is having to genocidally kill every living Ukrainian, while suffering a decades-long guerrilla war (ten or twenty times worse than Afghanistan, which kicked their asses and toppled the Soviet Union), even if they marched into Kiev and shot Zelensky tomorrow, as if they even could.

Russia has no winning exit strategy except to quit, and Ukraine has everything to gain by fighting until the very end. That’s what “existential conflict” MEANS, FFS. Victory, or destruction as a nation.

But let’s grant all of BCE’s points:
Ukraine is sending grandpas and teenagers to the front.
    Okay, and…??
Russia is getting their asses kicked, and either held in check or pushed backwards, daily, albeit slowly, by grandpas and teenagers.
Wow, you sure convinced me that’s how it must be.
(Supposedly, that was the same knock on Ukraine’s army last summer, right before they pushed Russia back 60 miles in a month.)

So all that exposition has done is show that we could have saved billions in the Cold War, by requiring senior citizens to be placed in the Nasty Guard in return for their Social Security and Medicare checks.
And I, for one, would be one helluva lot happier to forgive student loan debt if, for every kid who got a worthless degree on Uncle’s nickel, we got four to eight years’ service out of them in the military before they moved on to barrista at Starbucks.
Those bilges aren’t going to clean themselves, and somebody’s got to grease the tanks and trucks in the motor pool.

  2. I would contend the world would be as well served if Russia lobbed a nuke at 40.74922080266882, -73.96810305688497 and it worked!

  3. How long ago did the russians start this mess?
And you want to tell me the “Russians had setbacks? Sure“?

Yea. Just as I have said from day one. The russians are a turd world country with a turd world conscripted army.

When the USA went to a war of choice in Iraq, we had to move every single man and equipment plus the entire supply chain 7000+ miles to get there. The f’ing russians just drive across their own border. And here we are 1.5+ years later and the russians are still dying all the while trying to fight and invade a country 1/5 their size in population. They can’t even handle that.

I’m not for lifting a hand to help, sending a dime, or any equipment to the Ukraine simply because their government is corrupt to the core and ours is even more so. That fact doesn’t make the russians one bit more competent, because they are what they have always been, incompetents, thugs, and murderers.

Russia is a basic terror state.
