Like Anthropogenic Global Warming (which is real!), the Chinese Crud (which is real!) can do anything.
The parallels. I’m guessing AGW is the model for everything the marxist’s wish to shove down our throats.
More than a year ago I put together a little chart comparing warmening to the coof — “trust the experts”, “give power to government”, etc. They matched in all particulars except for the coof actually being responsible for deaths and warmening having no directly attributable deaths. I can probably dig it up.
I remember it. Post it up here if you find it for those that might find it enlightening.

I see that the weather folks are predicting yet another “busy” hurricane season. Got to get that hype, hype, hype going! Global warming/cooling/climate change is going to kill us all!!!!!
Of course, more storms (or at least predictions of same) means more attention and more money for the weather folks. And if they predict lots of hurricanes and it does not happen, no one complains much. But if they were to predict a quiet hurricane season and then there is a big storm, they would get tons of complaints (and possibly law suits). So of course they predict a busy season.
I am trying to recall ever hearing an official prediction of a quiet hurricane season, and nothing comes to mind. What a surprise.
I’ve been an amateur weatherman since college where I studied meteorology and climatology. I also had an interest in the weather due to flying. So, fast forward to AGW and the year 2000 or so and its clear that the climatologists being supported by the government all adhere to the govco line – man made global warming will kill us all unless we take all your money. And in line with that, every year is predicted to be a disaster year because of AGW.
And yet, we’re all still here despite the predictions, it’s no hotter than before, my house on the beach still stands. Funny how that works.
Now even NO hurricanes confirms global warming.
Because everything confirms the theory and nothing can falsify it.
Hmmmm…
There is no problem nor condition, real or imagined, that AGW isn’t responsible for.

Kenny noted elsewhere that Durham, NC has a new mask “mandate”. Tonight I ran out to Wal Mart to pick up a couple things and find a BIG sign over the entrance door reading “MASKS are REQUIRED” due to the mandate. I went on in and a fellow offered me a mask which I declined with a polite “no, thank you”. And that was it. My best guestimate is 60-70% of the customers were not masked which bodes well for the lovers of freedom. I come home and look it up and Mecklenburg County now has a mandate because the percentage of cases has risen. No actual numbers, just percentage, which of course means their hiding the truth.
My wish, should it be granted, is that every county and NC government official responsible for this has a massive heart attack.
Well, it looks to me like someone is clearing the Dem field in preparation for…what, exactly? But very shortly after the big confab at Obozo’s ‘sophisticated’ birthday party, Granny Killer “No way am I resigning” Cuomo is out the door. And despite the voting law games in Cali, Newsome seems likely to exit stage left as well.
Who is doing the stage management, and to what purpose? Lots of possibilities….
It’s hard to understand the evil in play. Beats me as to what they are planing. Best guess was getting the granny killer off the field before the investigation got strong, but then it’s NY and they control every single bit of it. All that buildup that went on during the scamdemic’s worst and now he’s gone. He must of stepped on somebody’s toes.
Absolutely Granny Killer got in the way of someone’s plans. Groping women? Democrats just do not get forced out of office over that.
Maybe this is just part of memory holing the huge number of deaths due to seeding elder care facilities with COVID cases — with multiple Dem governors having done the exact same thing, that plan most likely came from higher up and those higher ups want their tracks covered.
Another theory is that this is internal New York state rivalry, with the state AG wanting to be governor herself and knifing Cuomo in the back to open the path. Plausible, but after all the national media fawning over Cuomo to use him as an anti-Trump weapon during Covid I just can’t see him being toppled without at least tacit agreement from national Dems.
I have no clue as I said. NY politics in general are just sleaze, mob, and corrupt since the union was formed. I discount the state AG as gov though, she has to know she has the same chance a snowball in hell has. But she
couldjust be stupid.It’s all like Kremlin Watching now. No one knows what is really going on except nothing is as it seems. At some point there will be hints as we see Cui Bono from all this.
