Remember last night when I mentioned the Nuremberg Code?
Over 170 Houston Hospital Employees Suspended Without Pay For Refusing COVID-19 Vaccine
Houston Methodist Hospital in Texas has suspended over 170 employees for two weeks without pay, after they refused to take the COVID-19 vaccine. The suspensions come after a new May policy requiring all 26,000 workers to get full courses of either the Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson vaccines by June 7 or face termination. The hospital says 99% of its employees – 24,947 – are fully vaccinated, however a group of 178 workers who have refused and have now been punished.
Meanwhile, 117 employees are suing the hospital, claiming that they’ve been pressured into becoming ‘human guinea pigs’.
Which they have, and which just happens to be…problematic, shall we say.
The Nuremberg Code (German: Nürnberger Kodex) is a set of research ethics principles for human experimentation created by the USA v Brandt court as one result of the Nuremberg trials at the end of the Second World War. In a review written on the 50th anniversary of the Brandt verdict, Katz writes that “a careful reading of the judgment suggests that” the authors wrote the Kodex “for the practice of human experimentation whenever it is being conducted.”
The ten points of the code were given in the section of the judges’ verdict entitled “Permissible Medical Experiments”:
- The voluntary consent of the human subject is absolutely essential.
Well how about that, a violation right out of the gate, and not the only one either. Clearly, HMH has wilfully flouted both the letter and spirit of Nuremberg. But there’s another slight problem.
The Kodex has not been officially accepted as law by any nation or as official ethics guidelines by any association. In fact, the Kodex’s reference to Hippocratic duty to the individual patient and the need to provide information was not initially favored by the American Medical Association. Katz observes that the Western world initially dismissed the Nuremberg Code as a “code for barbarians, but unnecessary (or superfluous) for ordinary physicians.”
So, no chance of Nuremberg providing any meaningful protection for people being strongarmed by Fascist goons into accepting the “vaccine” over their vehement objections, then. However, that doesn’t necessary mean the Code is entirely useless. At least it’s now been unequivocally established that the HMH personnel fall into the “barbarians” category, along with all others attempting to coerce people into yielding to Official Will™. Clarity is always a good thing, particularly these foggy days.
Had this exact conversation with a friend who is pro mRNA injection. He quickly changed the subject when I mentioned the Nuremberg Protocol and that this would be considered (in post-WWII) a war crime.
He hasn’t brought it up since.
I am not anti-vax. My vaccine record is huge. I would take an anti Covid vaccine if one actually existed, but it doesn’t exist. Instead of injecting attenuated or killed microorganisms which have been proven effective, they are substituting a dubious medical device called mRNA that has never been used before. I am against being part of the first ever mRNA project for humans.
*nod* I had a case worker suggest that I was anti-vax. I pointed out to her that the first time I went from the U.S. to the tropics, I recieved vaccination shots for everything from Yellow Fever to the Venezuelan Crotch Rot. I’m not anti-vax, I’m anti being used as a guinea pig for an experimental mRNA beta test.
Especially when all of the pharmaceutical companies involved went to great pains to make sure they couldn’t be held liable for any potential side effects.
Shit, I’m anti-vax if this crap is what passes for vaccination.
I do have a sure vaccination for all those DC types though. It’s experimental but seems highly effective in preventing the chinaVirus. Jump out a 20 story window.
I’ve got one that isn’t even experimental. A nice plastic bag over the head, sealed around the neck. Guaranteed to remove all COVID worries forever in a matter of minutes!
The classic remedy is to drop them from Helicopters flying about 20 stories high.
But I’m open to these new ideas.
Testing adding an image (stolen from Ace’s place):
^^^^^ – This right here. – ^^^^
Also, can you describe the symptoms of this Venezuelan Crotch Rot that you speak of… {scratch, scratch} … Asking for a fren.
*deadpan* I never got it. I was vaccinated.
But I’m given to understand that if your pecker turns green and fire shoots out your dick when you take a piss, <s>you’ve</s> your friend’s probably got it.
{Shakes head, scribbles note to self: 1) Buy fire extinguisher. 2) See doctor.}
Hey, thanks! I’ll let my friend know he doesn’t have anything to worry about.
Just FYI… there is a ‘real’ vaccine for this stuff. Actually there are (at least) two. Chile, Brazil, and Mexico (among many others) all use the one from China, and there’s also one other from somewhere else in Asia that I forget ATM. Wouldn’t shock me if more are on the way elsewhere.
I’m not exactly eager to trust any Chinese product (duh!) and there’s a lot of argument over how effective they are. (Of course if that recent Lancet study isn’t crap the mRNA stuff is roughly as effective as plain water.) But I’d still trust that stuff about 100x more than anything from a company whose first priority was immunity from civil suit.
But it’s not authorized, even for an EUA, in the US. Knock me over with a feather! 😉
Well, I wouldn’t trust our government or most of the pharmaceuticals as far as I can throw a 10000 pound truck.
Damn sure wouldn’t trust any other country.
You’ve found the most hated word in the English language for totalitarians of all flavor: voluntary.
That which is not forbidden is mandatory.
