  1. If anyone felt Chauvin was guilty and not railroaded should pause upon hearing this news about one of the jurors:

REVEALED: Chauvin juror who promised judge impartiality now says people should join juries ‘to spark some change’, wore BLM shirt in 2020.
A juror on the Derek Chauvin trial who told the court that he had no prior knowledge of the George Floyd civil case was photographed last August wearing a shirt that read “Get your knee off our necks” and “BLM.” He stated last week that he saw jury duty as a means to “spark some change.”

    1. BTW if they placed this person inside the jury then how much you want to bet they spent the whole time intimidating the rest to vote guilty and pretty much telling them of the consequences of not following orders?

      1. The entire jury were corrupt just as the prosecution was corrupt.

    1. “He also accuses Carlson of hypocrisy for having acknowledged — over a year ago — that masks work.”

Well, he gets one thing right.

Carlson: “Dozens of research papers have proved it”
I remember when he said that, It was strike one or two. No research paper has ever shown any such thing. Bullshitters say it’s true based on a complete fabrication of evidence. Or because they say so.

“Does [Carlson] have a death wish — for the rest of us?” Petrow asks.
I’m not sure about that wimp, Carlson, but I certainly do.

“Fox News should fire him before his dangerous rhetoric turns deadly, exactly the way Trump’s did on Jan. 6.,” he concludes.

Deadly. Got that. Protestors that were unarmed, and caused little to no destruction were “deadly”. In fact, the only death came at the hands of a government chimp that murdered Ashli, one of the very peaceful protesters.

Good for Tucker. Perhaps I’ll start calling balls as well, and if we get to a 4th I’ll tune in again.

      1. Buy they’re really doing their best to hammer home that “deadly January 6th riot” narrative, aren’t they?

        1. Yea. Deadly alright, deadly to us. Their time is coming though if they keep this up. They, the lying press, have just been irritating for many years, but now they’re starting to piss off people.

Damn lamppost’s are looking real lonely.

    1. Excellent. The first one is actually ZZ Top before they became famous. The beardless Beard is in the back seat, out of view.

      1. Well just damn. I would never know that.

Some good pictures in there. My 20 pound going on 100 pup thinks she’s looking in the mirror apparently…

    1. Well, that’s a revolver God would own. Man that thing is pretty.

    1. “‘Come on in. This space is not so different from your neighborhood Starbucks,’ they write.”

      Well, there’s the problem.

      1. In a nutshell.

“Wow. You mean I can have all of the overpriced burned tasting coffee I want and Social Justice, too? No thanks.”

I just want a friggin’ cup o’ Joe when I go out for coffee. Black, or with Half-N-Half. No mocha, latte, soy, or nuthin’, and NO SJWism.

        1. I despise Starbucks, first for what they call coffee, and second for thinking they need to tell me anything.

    2. “How dare those peasants talk back to us when we are preaching at them? HOW DARE THEY!!!!”

        1. Well, this is true. I am however thankful you provide the information to everyone else 🙂

  2. Trapped on the Island. Gasoline is officially out down here. I filled up on Monday night, no lines, plenty of gas (sometimes my wife is right 🙂 ). Today, all the stations in Buxton (Cape Hatteras) are out as are the stations south and north. Avon had one station with premium and a 2-3 hour wait in line as of 2pm. Pulling the cargo trailer this time and no way I can make it home on a tank. Even without the trailer it’s cutting it close unless I drive about 50.

However, I have been informed I have gas available from an emergency supply in an undisclosed location a little past halfway home due to my eldest son’s having emergency equipment at the ready.

Renters supposed to be in on Saturday but it’s looking like a lot of them may not make it. We’re hearing there are empty stations along the eastern seaboard.

    It’s the Biden economy stupid.

Explains what he was doing visiting the peanut man doesn’t it, getting advice on the best way to destroy the economy.

    1. Yeah, I was noticing that over at Breitbart just now.

Here are the current outages reported by GasBuddy, as of 12:37 Eastern time.

      North Carolina – 65%

And, shit. They still don’t have that hack fixed yet? The hell did they do to that pipeline system, anyway?

    2. Everywhere was out here yesterday. Today some stations must have gotten some deliveries because I saw lines waiting.

I filled up by happenstance on Sunday. The other car also has a half a tank. So I’m good for driving for a while, but I don’t have any gas in the lawnmower or the gas can. Luckily I cut the grass on Sun and Tue.

      1. We’re still around $2.49-$2.59 here, but we’re on a different pipeline and source. We’re not on the “hacked” pipeline.

        * Scare quotes because, given the state of what I’ll laughingly call our “information flow”, how do we know there was even a hack?

        1. Pump prices have been rising for 6 months here anyway. They were 2.72 per gallon here only last Fri. I filled up at 2.75 this weekend. I saw 2.88 but most stations had no gas. I think of stations have any it’s 3.00 here.

Today’s CPI report came in at 4.0% year on year and that was end April data. Biteme and the Pandemics is biting us in the inflated ass already.

I saw Biteme and The Inflated Asses open for The Flaming Lips in 1986. It had gotten old even back then.

    1. It is remarkable that the current junta has been in place (officially) for less than 4 months…and already we are seeing rapidly rising inflation plus plenty of things (semi chips, gasoline, etc.) are now unavailable at any price.

Welcome to the third world, America! I hope getting rid of those mean, mean tweets from the BadOrangeMan was worth it.

      1. I saw Mean Tweets open for Stolen Election in Nov 2020. The opening act crushed the headliner. but the headliner stole the show.

  4. When I try to connect to Cold Fury using Brave, Mike, I get a Red Page O’Death with the message:

    Deceptive site ahead
Attackers on 2.bp.blogspot.com may trick you into doing something dangerous like installing software or revealing your personal information (for example, passwords, phone numbers, or credit cards). Learn more

If you click through, you get a second Red Page O’Death that says:

Google Safe Browsing recently detected phishing on 2.bp.blogspot.com. Phishing sites pretend to be other websites to trick you.

You can report a detection problem or, if you understand the risks to your security, visit this unsafe site.

Not sure what your site has to do with “2.bp.blogspot.com,” but I’ve seen this on a couple other sites I link to from the aggregator News To Keep You Out of the Camps today.

    1. REALLY? Damn, that’s…interesting, since I’m not even on Blogspot, and never have been. Ever. Weird.

    1. I’ve been using Dissenter for 6+months and it is nearly perfect. I *think* it may be a fork of brave?

Anyway, I’m not seeing what you see. Is it the browser?

        1. Oh, and the main guy behind Brave, Brendan Eich, was really really butthurt about Dissenter and especially about Dissenter being a fork of his code. I don’t know if he got over it yet.

          1. OK, thought I recalled it was. I can’t imagine a browser much better, the ad blocking and tracking blocking alone is worht the price*.

            *free

      1. It’s only Chrome and Chrome-based browsers like Brave. Edge doesn’t do it. I don’t even have Firefox on any of my machines.

Anyways, things seem back to normal now.

        1. I have edge also but never use it anymore. So, a test from the fascist google? Or did lefty sites get the same treatment?

  5. Well, we made it home without requiring the emergency gas supply. Several of the stations on the island that were out took delivery’s before I left. I topped up last night so had a full tank leaving.

At the Alligator River / Intercoastal waterway bridge there is a marina and gas station. Regular gas at 3.10 a gallon so I filled up again, about 7 gallons. That would give me some leeway in finding enough to get home. In Rocky Mount I started checking out gas stations, went through about 5 that were empty and then found one with premium only at 4 bucks a gallon. That brought me home with a quarter tank left. Wife’s car is full and my spare car, the Suburban is about 3/4 so we’re good for now. The situation is improving I’m told…
An extra 1.5 hour drive, but not all for gas. 45 minutes were wasted in Bojangles drive through’s, for orders that were f’d up beyond recognition. Left one stopped at another, same result. Never will I go there again. Apparently they are all run the same sorry way.

If you are in fact a legit hooman bean desirous of registering yourself a CF user name so as to be able to comment only to find yourself caught up as collateral damage in one of my irregularly (un)scheduled sweeps for hinky registration attempts, please shoot me a kite at the email addy over in the right sidebar and let me know so’s I can get ya fixed up manually.

ALSO NOTE: You MUST use a valid, legit email address in order to successfully register, the new anti-spam software I installed last night requires it. My thanks to Barry for all his help sorting this mess out last night.

Comments appear entirely at the whim of the guy who pays the bills for this site and may be deleted, ridiculed, maliciously edited for purposes of mockery, or otherwise pissed over as he in his capricious fancy sees fit. The CF comments section is pretty free-form and rough and tumble; tolerance level for rowdiness and misbehavior is fairly high here, but is NOT without limit.

Management is under no obligation whatever to allow the comments section to be taken over and ruined by trolls, Leftists, and/or other oxygen thieves, and will take any measures deemed necessary to prevent such. Conduct yourself with the merest modicum of decorum, courtesy, and respect and you'll be fine. Pick pointless squabbles with other commenters, fling provocative personal insults, issue threats, or annoy the host (me) and...you won't.

Should you find yourself sanctioned after running afoul of the CF comments policy as stated and feel you have been wronged, please download and complete the Butthurt Report form below in quadruplicate; retain one copy for your personal records and send the others to the email address posted in the right sidebar.

Please refrain from whining, sniveling, and/or bursting into tears and waving your chubby fists around in frustrated rage, lest you suffer an aneurysm or stroke unnecessarily. Your completed form will be reviewed and your complaint addressed whenever management feels like getting around to it. Thank you.
