  1. Huh. No one has devirginated the new OT thread yet? How very odd.

Well, someone has to pop its cherry, and I’m about as no one as you can get. 🙂

    1. Well, I’ll back you up. Being a “no one” might be an advantage in the next several months.

    1. Well, interesting picture to show. Who knows any more.

I won’t watch. Tell me if Biteme gets through the whole ceremony tomorrow without keeling over, from whatever it is that gets him.

  2. Are you looking for a new job in a fast-growing field full of exciting opportunities? Get in on the ground floor of THE hottest job category of the 2020s: Become a zampolit today! Exercise your petty vindictiveness to the max and make other people’s lives miserable! Show those deplorables who is boss! Apply today!

(Offer void in some states. No straight white men need apply. Ability to completely revise your stated positions multiple times per day without shame (and with a straight face) required. Pretentions of victimhood a plus!)

    1. Be nice if it happens. I’m not holding my breath, though.

At this point, just watch, wait, and see. There’s not much else to do at the moment.

Keep your morale up, and watch for opportunities to throw sand in the gears.

Remember what I said: We’re no longer in the World. We’re all in-country now, all of us. Enemy territory.

      Conduct yourselves accordingly.

    2. Vox reads Q like Nostradamus. Anything he wants to see it anything that happens there’s a Q passage that fits it. That’s because Q, like Nostradamus, wrote in vague, broad statements that never meant anything specific.

Vox is just clickbait now. If the military were going to do something they’d arrest the whole lot at 12:01 yesterday.

No more clicks for him or Q unless something they “predict” actually happens. Like arrests and indictments of Deep State or Stolen Election actors.

      1. Agree on that, but there are those that thought Hidenbiden the marxist had to take the oath before the military could act, and this is the reason.
Do I believe it? No. For one I have no faith in the military brass.

I’ve said all along that the marxists cheating would be allowed to stand, while hoping for a different and moral outcome.

        1. Anonymous Conservative is a Q believer also.

I’m agnostic: I’m watching to see what happens. I do agree with AC: there’s way too many oddities going on surrounding this inauguration and transition. It ain’t normal.

          1. I hope Q is legit.

I’m just tired of the false hope. So I’ll believe it if I see it.

            Your mileage may vary.

The hope that someone is going to ride to our rescue is nice to believe but if it’s not true or not going to happen, then it is preventing us from working out a true plan for how to oppose the Banana Republic Dictators that have taken over America.

I’d prefer to start thinking about other things we can do rather than focus on something that Q says will happen. Q has been saying all this since 2017. Q said that the indictments would come just in time for the 2018 elections. Then it was to derail the impeachment. There is always some event that will be derailed and yet comes the day and the same message is sent. “Well of course it didn’t happen even though I said it would. It’s because before it happens it’s obvious that his will happen and then in time it will all work out and the Deep State will be defeated. Just keep clicking on my prognostications and I promise this time it will all happen exactly as I Predicted”.

It’s about as interesting as the guy shouting “Read the signs. The End of the World is nigh!”.

            1. Articles and suggestions on what you can do are all over the place. I’ve even posted suggestions for resistance and malicious compliance.

What are you waiting for? Permission?

              1. I didn’t say I wasn’t going there.

I just won’t click on Vox or Q anymore or believe them unless I see something they predict actually happen.

But it’s not me I’m worried about. Too many conservatives are still hanging on Q and Vox and other’s predictions in order not to actually have any responsibility for themselves.

                1. Too many conservatives are still hanging on Q and Vox and other’s predictions in order not to actually have any responsibility for themselves.

                  They are not your responsibility.

                  1. “They are not your responsibility.”

No, but it would be nice if we had a leader leading us. Economic warfare would be pretty effective if we all acted together. Imagine Amazon with a month of no sales to deplorables.

                    1. Right now I think that leaders would be counter productive. They’d just provide the Left with standing nails to hammer down.

Might be time to give leaderless resistance a try for awhile.

                    2. Doesn’t work unless you have a true guerrilla war going on. My opinion anyway.

In the internet age, were it not censored, we could probably get people to go along with certain economic actions by linking bloggers together.

OTOH, I get your concern. Which is why I wish Trump would take the mantle. He’s proven to be a pretty tough nail.

                    3. I know that Trump gets all the credit/blame for the Trump Movement, but the Trump revolution was essentially leaderless opposition – Trump was our figurehead, not our leader. Hell, look at all of the spontaneous Trump rallies across the country in the lead up to November that Trump had nothing to do with. Just local Trump supporters putting them together and getting car caravan/rallies with thousands of vehicles.

GamerGate was the most successful and effective mass movement in recent history, and was entirely leaderless.

With your comment on blogger networks, I think you’re not quite fully grokking the concept of leaderless resistance. Think “Unintended Consequences” by John Ross.

                    4. Even Trump noted the “movement” was about us, not Trump. Trump was the leader however from the time he decided to run and basically said clean up in DC.

I think I understand the concept just fine. I’m not seeing it develop however and I’m not expecting that it will. We’ll see I suppose.

                  2. I think Glenn had a good idea and blueprint with his “Army of Davids” concept way back when.

Too bad Professor Reynolds gave promoting that up for jumping on the “Dems are the REAL racists!” and “Dems are the REAL hypocrites!” wagons.

  3. Vox reads Q like Nostradamus. Anything he wants to see or anything that happens there’s a Q passage that fits it.

  4. It has been less than 48 hours, but the (fully expected) fun and games are already well underway.

Democrats file “ethics violations” against senators Cruz and Hawley for daring to disagree with Democrats. I expect both to be expelled from congress, along with any other GOP who refuse to go along to get along. Expect disagreement with Democrats to soon become a federal criminal offense.

The Biden admin is already moving to block oil and gas production on federal lands. A nation-wide fracking ban will soon follow. Energy prices are only going one direction in the future: up, up, and away like Superman on meth. Expect gas prices to skyrocket, followed by rationing, followed by a total ban on ICE vehicles, followed by a total ban on private ownership of any vehicles.

Everything uses energy, and it will all become more expensive. Heating or cooling your home will become a luxury of the rich. And there aren’t going to be very many rich people, other than those connected to government.

The next few years are going to be ‘interesting times.’ Pick any subject or policy, and expect the Democrats to do the stupidest, most aggressively destructive thing possible.

  5. “…expect the Democrats to do the stupidest, most aggressively destructive thing possible.”

Aided 100% by their handmaidens, the republican party.

    1. Mitch will try him in the Senate and Remove him from office and prohibit him from holding public office ever again.

      1. That doesn’t prohibit him from starting a party and unseating republicans.

And of course, an impeachment trial for a person that is not in office is unconstitutional, as if it mattered.

        Fuck McConnell. Trump should proceed.

      1. Hey! I know! We’ll just vote HARDER next time! Yeah – that’s the ticket!

“Top Trump advisor says”, huh? So they pulled it out of their ass?

At least it’s a little bit better than “anonymous source says.”

    1. The warmongers for corporate profit crowd sure didn’t waste time. Somehow I am guessing CNN will lose the ability to put up a daily death count chyron.

As for the Covidiocy, everything is going exactly as predicted. The WHO is changing the test definitions to something resembling what they should have been in the first place, and the case-demic will magically vanish. Hooray! Biden saves America from the doom virus!

Note also that fear-monger Fauci is getting his payoff with a nice cushy appointment to the WHO. That bit of slime has done a hell of a lot of damage to America, and is responsible for what is most likely tens of thousands of lives lost as a result of his entirely wrong “advice.”

Sadly, I suspect that his body count is going to look small compared to what others in the new admin are going to rack up over the next few years.

      1. It was almost a million last week.

Yahoo had a headline that was straight out of 1984.

Jobless claims drop to 900,000 in Biden’s first week in office.

          1. The biggest craziness is that 900,000 is at least 2x the record number ever pre-Covid Lockdowns.

It’s all from Blue STate Lockdowns and has nothing to do with Trump and everything to do with the Dems.

The real headline should read “Crazy Dem Lockdowns send 2 Million out of work this month after destroying 140,000 net jobs in December”

  6. It was almost a million last week.

Yahoo had a headline that was straight out of 1984.

Jobless claims drop to 900,000 in Biden’s first week in office.

  7. Someone stole this from a comment to a post at Gateway Pundit:

    SURVIVING IN A SOCIALIST AMERICA

    1. Assume nothing.
    2. Never go against your gut.
    3. Everyone is potentially under opposition control.
    4. Do not look back; you are never completely alone.
    5. Go with the flow, blend in.
    6. Vary your pattern and stay within your cover.
    7. Lull them into a sense of complacency.
    8. Do not harass the opposition.
    9. Pick the time and place for action.
    10. Keep your options open.

I’m not sure I agree with #8) Do not harass the opposition, but as a rule of thumb, it works. Always pick your time and place to harass the enemy, and don’t get caught.

If you can’t be sure of the last part, then pass on it and look for a better/safer opportunity.

    1. On first glance, that’s good advice if you are the only patriot in a sea of communists.

It’s bad advice when patriots are half of the population.

This advice plays right into the hands of the communists, who want to make sure that commies know they have plenty of like-minded people around them but who want all of the opposition to think they are alone.

      1. I think what you say is true in a society without inter-communication. Even with the big tech suppression that is not the case here.

We know half or more of the population are opposed to marxism. It’s how we determine when and how to collectively fight it that’s the problem.

      2. It’s advice for being a Grey Man, which I’ve seen a lot of people on our side of the divide advocate.

Not something that would work for me, as I’ve never ever been able to blend in in my life. There’s something in me that’s broken when it comes to the blend in mechanism.

        1. I can turn invisible when hunting* ** but in my personal life I make no effort at all at blending in, “go along to get along”, or flying under the radar. It’s not that my blend in mechanism is broken, exactly, it’s more that my give a damn mechanism is broken.

          * Urban hunting, not forest or field.

** Not optically invisible, of course, wonderful though that would be. I just blend in, appear to be no threat, escape notice. It’s never been put to the test how well this works in an age of pervasive surveillance, though I can make a few guesses.

          1. “…it’s more that my give a damn mechanism is broken.”

Mines in the shop for repair. Parts unavailable.

          2. Oh yeah, my give-a-fuck broke a long time ago.

I’ve been told that I “scare people”. I can’t see it myself, but if so, then my camouflage and blend-in/appear-to-be-no-threat is busted also. Either that, or it never worked to begin with.

I’m not sure how that would work in the age of ubiquitous surveillance, either.

I will note that the surveillance isn’t quite ubiquitous everywhere. It’s still possible to slip through the cracks, depending on where you live.
