I was driving the now home-bound kids, school-wise at least, on a pizza run. I heard someone on the Hannity show talking about Trump making a comeback in 2024. I wanted to put my fist through the radio.

- The Left has eliminated the filibuster and rammed through so much progressivism it’d take four years of slogging with Trump AND both Congress and the Senate in “R” hands just to undo that?
- The Left has impeached Kavanaugh, Gorsuch, and Barret? (Yeah, yeah, I know, the Senate. Really? With so many RINO squishes eager to fellate their new Dem masters just to keep their places at the federal funds trough? They’ll sign on in a Washington minute just to keep the perks and invites to the parties going.)
- 30-odd million illegals given legal status and, doubtless soon after, citizenship? Not to mention the hundreds of thousands of refugees they bring in and – I would not be surpised at all – to whom they’ll give citizenship immediately? And 80%, conservatively, voting “D”?
- And that’s assuming Trump has not been STAR-chamber convicted and is sitting in a cell. If he’s lucky.
- When “cancel culture” has taken over, amplified to insanity from where it already is. They want revenge – look at what they’ve done to the Biden computer repair man… and their crowing exultation that they’ve driven him out of business. You think you’re immune? Ready for your appearance before a Truth and Reconciliation board?

No, if Trump does not prevail there will NEVER EVER EVER be another election in the US where a Republican, or anyone to the Right of Stalin, stands a snowball’s chance on Mercury. The Left will know, having seen, that the GOP will roll over and expose their throats and bellies rather than fight, even when cornered.

Exactly what I’ve been saying. Even some people that I used to admire, like Kurt Schlichter, still think that electoral politics matter. Sure, vote – they still get to vote in Venezuela, right?
It’s funny. We used to say, “You can vote your way into Communism but you have to shoot your way out.” Turns out you don’t have to actually vote your way in, either. They just take it from you.
I Trust In Trump. As long as he is still fighting I will.
I have no illusions of what that is going to be like though.
I trust in Trump from an integrity perspective. I think he genuinely means what he says and I think he’s genuinely on the side of America and Americans. The problem, for Trump, is that I don’t think he really understood what he was getting into – he talked about the ‘swamp,’ but I don’t think he had any inkling of how bad it would be. Even now, I think he still believes just a little too much in our governmental institutions. And I think that will be his undoing – and I think he’ll be in prison a year from now, despite having done exactly nothing illegal.
George Washington says fuck that, we’ll keep trying until death stops us.
Trump won’t run in 2024 for the simple reason that they’re going to arrest him and then kill him the minute he steps down from office, or very shortly thereafter. They won’t want to have him loose to be a rallying point for his supporters.
They probably won’t want to have him as a martyr, either, but they’re low on choices there.
The truth is that, whether he realizes it or not, Trump really has nothing to lose at this point by taking whatever drastic action he wishes. It’s not just him – it’s his entire family they will be after, Third World style. If he realizes it, big things could be afoot- if not, the entire Trump family will be in prison or dead within 12 months and the entire company robbed and liquidated.
Not just Trump. Flynn and all the others like Giuliani and Powell.
Look at the car crashes and Covid deaths lately. Think about it.
Scalia didn’t die in his sleep and Seth Rich didn’t get mugged.
That’s something all of the “Oh, but we’ll still have 2022 and 2024!” idiots don’t seem to get: They won’t be eaten last this time, and eventually the Left will work their way down to the people like us.

If I read it correctly The SC asked for responses by 3PM today. Unless that changes we’ll start getting some idea of where this goes today.
Responses are in but it’s going to take a while before we hear more I think.
I’ll remain somewhat hopeful but fully expect to be dissapointed.
As Skeptic notes below, the SCOTUS, which can find all sorts of things not in the constitution, can’t be bothered with stopping the civil war.
