What he said

Straight talk, or “hate speech”?

Brazil’s president Jair Bolsonaro came under fire on Tuesday for telling people not to deal with Covid-19 like ‘a country of f*gs’, in his latest controversial outburst about the pandemic.

Bolsonaro used the offensive term for gay people while complaining that ‘all anyone talks about these days is the pandemic…we need to stop that’.

‘I regret the deaths. I really do. But we’re all going to die someday. There’s no use fleeing reality. We have to stop being a country of f*gs… we have to face up to it and fight. I hate this f****t stuff,’ he said in a speech at the presidential palace.

Bolsonaro, who has repeatedly downplayed the virus despite the 5.7 million infections and 163,000 deaths which it has caused in Brazil, also caused a separate row by gloating over the suspension of Chinese vaccine trials in Brazil.

163 thousand deaths? My God, I’ve been wrong all along in my Red Death skepticism! This truly is the Plague Of All Plagues, a world-depopulating pandemic whose murderous impact justifies any and all measures taken to combat it, no matter how extreme or destructive!!

My most abject apologies to all the fearful sheeple who snarled from the panic-ninny bandwagon at foolish, misguided souls like myself as “Grandma killers” who refused to “do our part” out of nothing but selfishness and blind ignorance. IF EVEN ONE LIFE IS SAVED…

Yeah, sorry not sorry.

The current population of Brazil is 213,106,404 as of Wednesday, November 11, 2020, based on Worldometer elaboration of the latest United Nations data.

Let’s also note that when the panic-pimps ominously mention “5.7 million infections,” they’re talking about the same thing they are when they doomsay about “cases.” Meaning not deaths, not hospitalizations, not even people who are ill for a couple-three days and then get better: positive test results.

I’m so old I can remember way back in Ye Olden Tymes, when more widespread testing—which was ALWAYS going to yield increasing numbers of positive results, due to the nature of life on this fucking germ, bacteria, and virus-rife planet, ferchrissake—was being sold as the bar that must be surpassed before our “flatten the curve” lockdowns could safely be eased. Ironic, innit, that that very requirement has now somehow transmogrified into yet another CRISIS requiring that we absolutely must, must MUST stay locked down, forever and ever!!!

And next month, TPTB will come up with another reason to keep us frightened, caged, and doing what we’re told. If you doubt this, then no matter how smart you are, you don’t really understand what this whole phonus-balonus subterfuge is really all about.

Oh, and about those tests.

Elon Musk sowed doubts about the accuracy of coronavirus tests on Friday — just hours after tweeting that he took four rapid tests with conflicting results.

The Tesla boss and fifth-richest man in the world had initially tweeted Thursday night that “Something extremely bogus is going on” regarding COVID-19 testing. “Two tests came back negative, two came back positive. Same machine, same test, same nurse.”

Musk said he took the “rapid antigen test from BD,” likely referring to medical-supplies giant Becton Dickinson, and called it “about as useful as flipping a coin.”

“If it’s happening to me, it’s happening to others,” he said in a follow-up tweet. “I’m getting PCR tests from separate labs. Results will take about 24 hours.”

One Twitter user quipped that “revenues from tests are likely not bogus & very consistent,” prompting Musk to reply “Exactly.”

Yup. Go-Go Gohmert knows the score.

The Texas congressman said that was what we could look forward to in a potential Biden administration.

“It’s exactly what the socialists manipulating things want,” he said. “And that’s mainly coming from the billionaires that think falsely that they’ll be part of the ruling class. But it is also conditioning Americans that the government can tell you what business to be in, when you can open, what you can do. They’re moving us more and more away from our freedom into socialism. And that’s exactly what we were promised, and that’s what Biden is going to deliver on.”

“As Rahm Emanuel famously said, ‘Don’t let a good crisis go to waste,’” Gohmert continued. “Who would have ever dreamed Americans would allow the government to say you’ve got to go out of business because we’re not going to let you open for a long time. We’ve never done that before. We’ve never quarantined healthy people before.”

Bingo. Thank heaven for the handful of sensible politicians like him, and the wonderful Kristi Noem, bless her heart.

The office of South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) said Friday that it would not enforce a federal lockdown or mask mandate under a President Joe Biden after one of the former vice president’s advisers floated the measure.

Ian Fury, communications specialist for Noem, said in a statement to the Sioux Falls Argus Leader:

It’s a good day for freedom. Joe Biden realizes that the president doesn’t have the authority to institute a mask mandate. For that matter, neither does Governor Noem, which is why she has provided her citizens with the full scope of the science and trusted them to make the best decisions for themselves and their loved-ones.

How very sad that such a common-sense, freedom-oriented approach seems so unusual to us nowadays, even extreme. But somehow, here we all are.

Noem isn’t the only Republican governor to express opposition to a potential national shutdown. On Tuesday, Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves (R) said his state would not comply with a mandatory lockdown, either.

“We’re not going to participate in a nation-wide lockdown,” Reeves said during a coronavirus update in reference to Osterholm’s suggestion.

Reeves swatted down the idea of a lockdown as “totally and completely beyond reasonableness” and warned it would cause economic carnage across the state.

Good on ya, Gov. Would that we had many more like you, and Noem, and Gohmert also. Far as I’m concerned we could probably use a few Bolsonaros up here, too. But so far, we’ve only been able to come up with just the one.

Update! Mask off or die.

Like most Americans, I have accepted being forced to hand over a large portion of all I earn to people who did not earn it but who have acquired the power to take it. I have accepted not being able to ever own my home, no matter how long ago I paid for it.

It is all pretty bad.

But this – Sickness Kabuki – is one binary too far. It has already taken away the small pleasures, such as being able to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee at a cafe – or go shopping without seeing Freaks everywhere and having to “gird my loins” for a possible confrontation with them.

I am tired of it.

As well you ought to be. As he says later in the piece, “Nothing less than total submission will suffice.” Which is what this is really all about, and always was.

  1. There are at least three studies out there which Our Betters will not permit to be published. Speculation is that they prove just how much masks are really worth against the Kung Flu!!!

    1. They are worth 0. It says it right there on the package.

Too many in the Right accepted this and accepted that and now are surprised that they are forced to accept more and more ridiculousness because these people never relent. They never give up. They are never happy until millions are dying rather than submit. By then it’s too late.

Re-entering all the Global Climate Change protocols like the Paris Accords will be the Crisis used to implement 24/7/365.25 Socialism if we relent and accept Biden as President. Guaranteed.

      1. Reruns of the Obama years are what we would see, since the exact same people would be pulling the puppet strings. More pallets of cash for the mullahs in Iran and backing their power plays in the middle east, the Paris climate idiocy to hamstring our economy and force the US to pay the third world for existing, the Trans Pacific trade deal to off shore all our manufacturing jobs, and of course virus fear mongering 24/7 to control the proles.

I am already seeing headlines about the Trans Pacific Trade deal, about how all these nations are going to be part of this awesome new thing and if only that bad, mean, orange man had not blocked us from being part of the awesomeness, etc. The propaganda is unceasing.

        1. The big difference was they would be secure in the knowledge that most of us will bend the knee in Crisis and not do anything about obvious in your face fraud.
