Jeff at Caerdroia explains how it’s supposed to work to those who pretend not to understand it:
For the Left, judges are legislators in a real sense: they must decide whether a law is Right and Just (by the Left’s standards, mind you). For the rest of us, a judge’s job is to decide what the law allows and compels: to judge, not legislate.
And again, if that’s the system you want, that is OK. I don’t think that it’s inherently wrong: it’s just not the system we have.
I’ve never really been able to grasp how it is that most Dems and other Lefties can make such grandiose claims to patriotism and love of country when they not only despise over half the people who live in it, but oppose almost every principle and institution that makes it what it is.
