WordPress RULES

So I just did the WP 2.7.1 upgrade via the new auto-upgrade feature, and my God, but these guys are good. Took all of five — count ’em, 5 — seconds, and went off with nary a hitch. You hit the auto-upgrade button, it grabs the files, unpacks, and installs ’em, and hey presto, you’re done. It was literally easier, and way faster, than typing about it just was. If you’re a blogger and aren’t using WordPress, well, you oughta be. This is some fine, fine software, peeps, and it just keeps getting better and better.

Comments appear entirely at the whim of the guy who pays the bills for this site, and may be deleted, edited, ridiculed, or otherwise pissed over as he in his capricious fancy sees fit. Thank you.

Yep. Slick as a whistle. I did that two days ago on several test sites with versions from 2.3 to 2.5 and all went off beautifully. I immediately went to my 2.7 production site and it was just as you say, fantastic!
